Combination Stats

I imagine there exists a better name than combination, but I'm not currently aware of it.

Anyways, the suggestion involves including a list (possibly in the Advanced Rules section) of all of the "stats" that are created by combining two stats.

These would be things like acceleration which is speed and strength. I'm sure there are others, I know reaction time was instinct and speed (though I'm not sure if it still is).

I feel like this would be helpful to have for everyone, and sort of falls under the 'unwritten rules' that, at one point, we were attempting to get written down.

Agree this would be helpful, and there was a point in time when this was being written, I don't know what came of it. I'm not entirely sure an entire page is necessary for it, I think it'd be small enough to make sense in Misc. But depending on how segregated they want the rules to be a separate page might be appropriate.

As for existing substats off the top of my head:

Accuracy - Instinct + Taijutsu
Durability - Strength + Stamina
Acceleration - Speed + Strength
Perception - Speed + Instinct (iirc, this avg. stat must be within 5 of your speed in order to remain fully aware of surroundings at top speed)
Reaction Time - Instict + Taijutsu + Speed

I like the idea of having them written down, yeah -- these are important considerations when planning a character's stats, and might not be immediately obvious to newer members. It'd be particularly good for explaining why Instinct can be so important.
Probably a few things we can clarify in the process, too, like how much strength is needed to instantly start moving at one's max speed (edit: answer is str must be equal to speed), and the instinct requirement on remaining aware at speed (i'd never heard that one before!) etc.

I'm a fan of getting them written down. Rather than its own rule page or Misc Rules, I think the best spot for it would be in the actual Stats rule page.

Yeah, I'm not terribly particular on where it is included.

Might need to also link it somewhere in the role play rules if applied. That way new members are informed how combat works here.

Strength + Stamina is already tied into how much a character is able to endure in the rules as they are written.
