  • Face/head: Tatsuo's hair is colored dark red. The sides of his head are cut short and blended into the rest of his hair. The top is left to a slightly-longer-than-medium length while being swept back or molded into another style Tatsuo enjoys. His eyes are royal purple and seem like they would give off a low glow in pitch blackness. A small scar from a training accident is barely noticeable on the left side of his jaw. His ears are of normal size and have no exceptional shape or features to them along with his lips and nose being fairly average in size.
  • Body: Tatsuo is a lean, mean, fighting machine; the epitome of an Iwagakure no Sato shinobi. Forged in his clan's hell known as the Akari Arena and the village's very own hell, the Catacombs, Tatsuo has trained his entire life to keep himself at peak physical fitness in order to survive and keep pushing forward. Straights lines and taut planes make up his body now as he has continued to hone it to its limits. Due to the location of Iwagakure no Sato and the lack of trees, Tatsuo sports a decent tan that helps to bring out the color of his hair and eyes.

  • Notable Features: Tatsuo's bright eyes and a large scar on his right pectoral muscle from a training accident are the only noticeable features that would stand out if one were to strip him down.
Clothing/Accessories: Starting from the bottom up, Tatsuo wears a pair of black combat boots over black socks. For pants he wears a black pair of trousers that are tucked into his boots while a waist-sash acts as a belt with the symbol of Iwagakure emblazoned on it. Tatsuo wears a white button up t-shirt tucked into his trousers with a dark maroon duster that reaches down to his calves covering it. Tatsuo has twin kunai holsters taped to each leg on his thigh for a quick draw. Another pack sits strapped around his waist containing the rest of his gear.

Personality:
  • General: Tatsuo has grown into becoming more quiet and reserved compared to his jounin years and earlier. The loss of his brother and perceived loss of girlfriend, who later turned out to be alive, caused his mental health to deteriorate to dangerous levels during the end period of his jounin years. Since then, he has come to terms with what has happened and makes a conscious effort to improve his mental health on a day-to-day basis. His accomplishments over the years and his own strength have spurned him on to become even greater and he no longer cowers or tries to hide away from intimidating people and situation, rather he welcomes them and tries his best to either help a person or point them in the direction of someone who can.
  • Hopes/Dreams: Succeeding in his dream of becoming Tsuchikage, Tatsuo now pushes forward with the hope of uniting the western lands under Earth Country and forging lasting alliances to protect not only his own people but those of his allies as well. Tatsuo has reached his dream of becoming a legendary ninja, having earned the rank of Bannin which only the most extraordinary of shinobi achieve. Pushing further, Tatsuo now aims for the mantle of Tsuchikage and to lead Iwagakure into a bright future.
  • Fears: Tatsuo worries for the other children of the Akari clan who are not as lucky as he was with his family, he fears for those who are beaten and manipulated or worse. He fears the negative aspects of his clan will become their central theme and wishes to prevent this from further developing and quashing it while possible.
  • Combat Mentality: Tatsuo is, first and foremost, a taijutsu expert who leans on his mixture of speed, strength, and bodily control to bring him victory. He utilizes the combination of his multiple shiin to provide an overwhelming advantage in physical confrontations while using pseudo-Heavenly and Heavenly Taijutsu to deal with any long range threats he cannot bring into his effective range. When going against ninjutsu or genjutsu casters, he aims to force them into close range so that he may swing the battle in his favor.

    Having tested his strength against many Iwa ninja, as well as against ninja of other villages during the Fur Country festival, Tatsuo is sure of his strength. He views himself as an apex predator on the battlefield, reserving the right to fight the strongest for himself. His encounter with the Leviathan in the Catacombs mutated his sense of fear. If something as terrifying and otherworldly as it had been unable to kill him, how could any human? Fear instead excites the man, increasing his own blood lust and exciting him for the battle ahead.

Tsuchikage's Sheath
A full body set of armor created by Tatsuo, Mitsuo, and Natsumi after a grueling forging process. Each piece of armor (gauntlets, helmet, chest, greaves) is incredibly resistant to damage (50 Strength/Endurance) and is intricately woven with Fuuinjutsu that infuses them with the passives of Doton and Kouton.

Body - Scale armor covers the user from their neck to their toes backed with a matte black inner skinsuit made of cloth and two plates covering the thighs. A minimalist hauberk is combined to the Scale Armor with the crest of the Akari clan emblazoned in maroon on the front and two pairs of long rectangular flaps to help stabilize flight are located on the back.

Gauntlets - A pair of black gauntlets with four leaf shaped protrusions stretching upwards to the elbows that hug the forearm. These protrusions can be activated on each arm with chakra to rise up into a 1m diameter shield.

Greaves - A pair of black greaves that come up to the knees. These greaves can be activated to enable flight equal to a max of his Speed stat.

Helm - A black helmet that encompasses the user's head, it can fold back and minimize itself so that the user can converse normally. Two sets of eyes decorate the face with the primary pair located where the wearer's eyes would be and the secondary pair lower on the helm near the mouth/cheeks. These eye holes are protected with reinforced glass to prevent particulates from irritating one's eyes. Complex fuuinjutsu lines the inside of the helmet that allows it to ventilate and filter out airborne particulates (S) and project information gathered on targets in the form of a Heads Up Display as needed onto the tempered glass.

Akari:
The main bloodline of the Akari clan is their shiin. While the size, shape, and abilities of the shiin depends on which chakra the organ is connected to. The shiin, while manifesting itself, is a constant within them. Unlike other similar clans, the shiin is the only thing that alters itself, leaving the Akari's body largely in tact. However, because of this, the shiin is just another part of the body, just as someone's arm or leg.

Astrashiin - Envelops entire head and has a violet hue. Around the eye area the muscle creating the Astrashiin is thin and retractable. It serves as a visor that can be lowered or raised if needed. When lowered, it has two eyes holes that provide some sight but not his usual vision. Atop the Astrashiin are two 6 inch long horns that point forward like a bull's horns. They are sharp and if needed, can gore someone. Mutation: The horns now double as echolocation sensory organs and can pick up vibrations in the air caused by people, objects, jutsu, etc up to [Endurance]meters away.

Lacrishiin - Covers the entirety of his body and connects to the bottom of his Astrashiin with an opening at the base of his spine for other shiin. The Lacrishiin shares the color of his Astrashiin, being a violet in hue and resembling a beetle’s shell with small 4 inch spikes extending from his elbows and knees with even smaller 3 inch spikes that can be retracted emerging from the tops of his hands. Mutation: Bioelectricity lines the Lacrishiin and applies the Raiton passive to the users strikes for half of its standard duration per the Strength of the strike.

Phasmashiin - Emerges from his shoulders. The first, on his right shoulder, has an armored section made up of a 3 layered pauldron like structures that covers his shoulder and upper arm. The smallest layer sits near his shoulder and the remaining two increase in size with the bottom most layer being the largest. From these pauldrons emerges a long blade. It is almost as long as his leg and at its base is double the thickness of his arm with the blade tapering off at its tip. The blade is incredibly sharp and able to cut through materials with ease. The second phasmashiin, on his left shoulder, mimics the first but has small differences. There are only two pauldrons emerging from his shoulder while the blade is only 2/3rds the length of the first phasmashiin. Both leave plenty of room for Tatsuo to use hand seals freely and are colored violet like the rest of his shiin. Mutation: The blades split into two and can be controlled like scissors, and can be launched as if they were projectiles based on [Strength]. Once launched, they grow after 1 post.

Melashiin Enhanced Temershiin: Spawns from the base of his spine and has the regenerative powers of a Melashiin. Mutation: Tips splits into four and possess a scaled-to mouth with a tongue and sharp teeth, pharynx, larynx, vocal cords, and esophagus connected to main stomach. Loses Regenerative properties and length now equal to [Endurance]meters.

Temershiin Enhanced Melashiin: Spawns from the base of his spine and has the coarseness, roughness, size, and durability of a Temershiin. It can spawn a total of 12 violet tentacles. Mutation: The tips split into four and possess a scaled-to mouth with a tongue and sharp teeth, pharynx, larynx, vocal cords, and esophagus connected to main stomach. Loses Regenerative properties and length now equal to [Endurance]meters.

Lacrishiin Enhanced Eroshiin: Emerges from shoulder blades and form into 6'5" tall wings. The wings themselves boast a sleek, membranous structure reminiscent of bat wings, with a delicate, almost translucent quality that allows them to catch and play with ambient light. However, woven into the very fabric of these wings is a lattice of lightweight, yet incredibly durable, opaque violet scales. This armored framework serves a functional aesthetic purpose, ensuring they can withstand the rigors of flight and potential encounters with adversaries. Mutation: Long velvet down feathers form on the wings suppressing the sound of flight unless one has a B-ranked Hearing Perception technique.

Dergoshiin enhanced Phasmashiin: Forms around the left forearm in the design of a heavy crossbow. Two chitinous growths form the limbs of the bow while a 'rail' running down the forearms serves as a barrel to hold and stabilize the projectile. A heavy bolt made of the same chitinous material rests along the top of the forearm ready to fire. Mutation: Projectiles fracture upon impact causing a secondary explosion of 1/2 Str.
Sin Eater:
The sheer amount of Akari and normal humans consumed by Tatsuo over the years has caused both his body and shiin to mutate and evolve past the norm both blessing and cursing him with their changes. These mutations have resulted in unique changes to each of his current shiin and will mutate any shiin he gains in the future along with granting him the ability to regenerate based on the amount of flesh eaten. Mutations are described at the end of the actual Shiin descriptions in [Akari]. Due to the fact his regeneration does not activate unless flesh is consumed, it does not require an -X Endurance/Chakra Pool. Rather than scaling off of 10-30 Control, 31-45 Control, and 46+ Control, it scales off of amount of flesh consumed such as digits (fingers, toes, etc), appendages (hands, feet, etc), and limbs/organs (arms, legs, heart, liver, etc).

Tatsuo's parents were both chuunin within the ranks of Iwagakure no Sato. They had two other children that possessed a Melashiin and a Temershiin, so they were very common within the Akari clan. They figured that their third son would be the same, a common shiin user. They kept believing this until finally Kakuto, his father, started training Tatsuo. Once his shiin manifested, the small family felt blessed and cursed. Their son would be strong and influential, if he could survive. Kakuto and his wife, Mizami, started training their children immediately to protect themselves and to strengthen their youngest.

As a child, Tatsuo did not learn the importance of his shiin until his father explained it to him before he joined the Academy. From there on, Tatsuo was to keep his Astrashiin a secret and to lie about what shiin he truly had especially while in the village. His father and several of his fathers friends became a sort of bodyguard group for the young child. There were several times during his Academy days that he was attacked with his father coming to his rescue and saving him.

From the constant savings, his father grew strong and gained other shiins. As did the rest of his family. Not only was he blessed but so were they as they continued to grow strong. Tatsuo was horrible at genjutsu during his academy days and a little slow during combat training, but he got by with everything else. He found his niche in taijutsu and nintaijutsu and graduated the academy. For his graduation present, his father presented to him several bodies for him to devour. With these bodies and their shiins, his Astrashiin took in the shiins and made them apart of his body.

Tatsuo took to becoming a shinobi as a fish takes to water. From his first day as a genin, he was in the thick of missions and trainings in order to better himself and one day become a legendary ninja. His training took him from the safe confines from the village to the dangers of the steppes and back while the bonds he developed with his fellow villagers and clan mates multiplied over time. The decision to enter the chuunin exam was a no-brainer for the young Akari when the time came. He passed with conviction, the higher ups of Iwagakure no Sato recognizing his strength and granting him his wish for promotion.

Tatsuo breezed through the rank of chuunin with the same dedication to his craft that he had shown during his genin years as well. He met and befriended more Akari clansmen although some encounters led to blows and harsh words. During this time period as well, Tatsuo entered into a relationship with another Astrashiin holder while allowing another Akari who he had formed a friendship with to move into his home. Tatsuo partook in missions to help excavate and map out a new location underneath the village of Iwagakure no Sato itself. These encounters proved fruitful in helping him grow as both a person and as a shinobi.

Tatsuo’s time as a Special Jounin was trying. Several weeks after his promotion to Special Jounin, he was scheduled to partake in his next Arena fight within the Akari compound. Ready and willing, Tatsuo prepared for the bout with a barely contained fervor. The day of the fight, Tatsuo realized something was off about the event. The clan Arena was packed to the brim with clan members rather than there only being a couple dozen spectators at most. His opponent was another special jounin who possessed two phasmashiin and two melashiin. Tatsuo’s fight was quick and brutal; he literally ripped the man limb from limb and left him as only a torso with a head attached. The subsequent gore covered him in blood, earning him the moniker “The Bloody Demon of the Akari” from his clansmen and the village. Following his own fight, Kotaru, his adopted brother, had his own against a dergoshiin wielder with much promise. The fight ended in a victory for Kotaru but the growing excitement caused a riot to consume the Arena. Many Akari died that day as the clan ripped into each other before the Elders of the clan stepped in and cleaned up. The riot, along with his previous distaste of the Elders, only served to widen the animosity he had for the higher ups within the Akari clan.

Following his Arena fight were several missions which pushed Tatsuo towards another promotion, this time to jounin. It was unheard of for a shinobi to rank up so quickly and it earned him the attention of not only his clan but the village itself. With his promotion to Jounin also came more missions; these missions were directly related to the Catacombs and the surge of activity they were experiencing. Once more diving into their depths with Team 18, Tatsuo and his stalwart companions found themselves fighting for their lives against a monolithic Leviathan worm which had been released from the spirit realm. The fight pushed all three members of Team 18 to their limits and further beyond. Tatsuo was swallowed by the Leviathan and almost crushed within its stomach before he cut himself free and pierced its heart and tore his way out of its chest, killing it.

After slaying the Leviathan worm, Team 18 was found and rescued by a colony of spirits also unleashed from the mysterious, ancient fuuinjutsu lining the deep recesses of the Catacombs. A spirit formed of lava and obsidian was their guide within the small colony village and explained what it knew surrounding the Leviathan, the fuuinjutsu, and its own colony before helping the three members of Team 18 back to the FOB at the beginning of the Catacombs where they were taken to actual hospitals within Iwagakure no Sato for medical treatment. Shortly after their trying events in the Catacombs, Tatsuo underwent another traumatic event.

His elder brother Kaida, the oldest sibling of his family, was pitted against a much stronger opponent within the Arena and slaughtered in front of him. Tatsuo took the event as a sleight against his family by the Elders, a warning for them to fall in line like the rest. Not even two weeks later, his girlfriend, Akari, Ume, was thought to be Killed-In-Action along with her guardian, Akari, Koyama. The two events rocked the young jounin’s world, turning him into a cold person who had flashes on his previous freely expressed emotions.

Eventually coming to terms with and accepting what had happened with the help of a village sponsored therapist, Tatsuo's mental health recovered to a point nearly back to where he had been before everything. Shortly after the young man was promoted to Bannin, a rank reserved for only the most esteemed ninja of the village. Since then, the man has continued his shinobi career as the commander of Jousai as he reaches for Kageship.
As Commander of Jousai, Tatsuo led the efforts in the Catacombs. Their main purpose was to clear the vast area for use by the village and to make the problems go away. Tatsuo took the purpose to heart, purging the majority of creatures from the frontlines. The mutated spiders, rats, and other hostile creatures were pushed back deep into the farther reaches of the Catacombs where it became too difficult for the shinobi to chase them. Relying on their allies, the large mutated cockroaches and tiny glowing mushroom peoples, he was able to establish actual contact with the colony of spirits who had made the caves their homes. Hiken, the leader of the colony, and Tatsuo had been acquainted since the Leviathan Worm incident, the spirit being the one to save Team 18 back in the day.

With the immediate area of the Catacombs under Iwagakure control, Tatsuo left the mapping and construction efforts to Mitsuo. Tatsuo, with the numerous accolades under his young belt, was taken under the wing of the Tsuchikage, Chuutetsu Ishidai. Realizing he was being groomed, Tatsuo threw himself into the work study and was elevated to the position of Tsuchikage not long after. Unfortunately for him, his ascent to the seat was not meant to be peaceful.

Land grabs by Fire, Wind, and Lightning Country reached the ears of both the Earth Daimyo and himself. The Earth Daimyo, not one to be shown up, ordered the armies of Earth and Iwagakure to march on Pebble Country and secure it for themselves. Unlike the other lands annexed by the Great Powers, Pebble Country had the backing of another Great Power, Wind. This threw the world into war for five years, the period becoming known as the Great War. In Iwagakure's final battle of the war, Tatsuo faced off amongst several foes to cover the escape of other Iwagakure shinobi and was placed into a coma for several months but not before killing the squad.

Ishidai, having thankfully survived the war, had taken the hat up once again until such time he awoke from his coma or another successor was found. Several months later, Tatsuo woke up from the coma and immediately threw himself into rehabilitation to regain his strength. It didn't take him long; Tatsuo was back to fighting shape and reinstated as Tsuchikage once the physician declared him fit for service. Now, Tatsuo looks to unite the western lands under the banner of Earth Country while attempting to forge some sort of alliance with the new up and coming leaders of the minor countries.
Tatsuo came back with a vengeance from his coma. Immediately upon being reinstated, he continued the wishes of the Earth Daimyo to consolidate and annex the western countries who could not rely on the other Grand Five to come to their aid after the war. It did not take long for the Northern Wastes, Spirit's Nest, the Holy Land of Forest, and even the remnants of Miracle Country, Mercy Country, to come under the banner of Rock Country and Iwagakure no Sato. These events eventually cumulated into the Invasion of Wind Country.

Fierce battles broke out across the outer most borders of Wind Country as Iwa together with the hired help of Setsozoku fought the combined alliance of Suna, Konoha, and a surprise appearance from a lone Kumo squad. During this fighting, the Jounin Commander of Iwagakure no Sato and Tatsuo's mentor, Hibiki, was slain by the ANBU entourage of the former Hokage, Natsuki, Takeo. In retribution for the act, Tatsuo took the life of the former Hokage.

The combined forces of Iwa and Setsozoku faced heavy resistance from the Alliance and although they were success in the endeavor, many lives were lost that day and some were even captured. Now, Earth Country continues its slow march towards Sunagakure no Sato and its capital while recouping and recovering from their own wounds.

Preparing multiple projectiles, the practitioner launches each of the projectiles at one or more targets. For each target beyond the first, the accuracy of each of the attacks is decreased, suffering a -1 Strength penalty for each additional target.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner can launch projectiles in arcs up and over most obstacles, being able to accurately hit a target that is behind obstructions as if they were in the open. The practitioner must still be able to locate their target by some other means to ensure the projectile will hit its target.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner launches a projectile at a shallow angle, targeting the ground or a hard surface. The shallow angle of the shot causes the projectile to bounce off of the surface, moving at -1 Speed and striking with -1 Strength after the bounce. This technique can be used to launch an attack from an unexpected angle or to shoot around, over, or under obstacles.

By launching two projectiles, one immediately after the other, the practitioner attempts to create a decoy for the second. The first projectile is often larger or of equal size, and the second projectile is slightly behind and below it, the second projectile hiding in the first projectile's shadow. This masks the second projectile and makes it more difficult for the opponent to completely avoid. Opponents with a Perception technique equal or higher in rank may be able to see both projectiles clearly within a reasonable distance, though they'll still have to properly defend against it.

Preparing a projectile, the practitioner launches the weapon with a slight tailspin, causing the flight path of the weapon to warp as it travels. The practitioner uses this slight change in the projectile's trajectory to hit a variety of targets that could not be targeted by normal means. This can be used to hit a target that is hiding behind another person or object, particularly useful against opponents behind human shields.

Momentarily crouching, the practitioner launches one or more projectiles in a low arc, the weapon(s) flying close to the ground before arcing up in a single direction when approaching the target. If the practitioner launches more than one projectile, their trajectories can cross over each other, making it difficult for the opponent to ascertain which projectile will rise up to strike them first.

B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner is able to launch a projectile in the direct path of an oncoming solid mass attack (i.e. Doton). If the Strength of this projectile meets or exceeds the Strength of the attack it is clashing against, the attack is deflected away from the practitioner. If the projectile is only slightly weaker than the attack (-5 Strength or less), the attack is still partially deflected, though the practitioner must supplement their defense with other techniques or movements to fully avoid the attack. The practitioner must still be able to detect and track the attack in order to defend against it.

B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): *[Flawless Aim Style • Hidden Shot].
Building upon the principles found in the Hidden Shot technique, the practitioner launches two or more projectiles, the first projectile serving as the leading projectile and subsequent projectiles in the previous projectile's shadows. These projectiles can be launched in complex twisting trajectories, allowing both leading and subsequent projectiles to slip in and out of the other projectile's shadows. Toryu typically favors use of the blade with one hand, utilizing the freedom of movement to use one's hands, joints, legs, head, and even the hilt and handle of the sword to make an already deadly style more unpredictable and more lethal. Ignorantly considered a very "unrefined" style by most practitioners of the sword, Toryu is actually one of the most difficult styles of Kenjutsu to learn and master. The very basic premise of the style revolves around the firm control and manipulation of one's own movements and body, some techniques requiring execution while using another attack as a feint or misdirection while not sacrificing strength. The prone position this leaves the opponent in leaves them exposed to an attack of opportunity from the practitioner's weapon after executing this technique.

The practitioner may choose to use this as an attack instead by immediately leading off with the knee strike if they so wish.

Should they choose to guard with their sword hand, the practitioner deflects the attacks outwards, away from the opponent's center of mass where their guard is strongest, and responds by launching unarmed counter attacks like a punch, elbow, or throw. If they choose to guard with their unarmed hand, the practitioner blocks the attack by intercepting the haft of the weapon or the opponent's wrists with the back of their fist or forearm and counter with more lethal slashes and stabs from their sword.

A variant of the Spite Breaker, the practitioner rushes the opponent and leaps at them, spinning and attempting to land on their shoulders, clinching their legs around the opponent's neck. Should the practitioner succeed, they will forcefully shift all of their weight back, potentially unbalancing the opponent. Opponents with an Endurance stat higher than the user can resist having their guard be disrupted. Otherwise, the opponent will be suddenly thrown back and flipped down before slamming face first into the ground. The practitioner can roll up onto the opponent's back with this motion, offering a clean stab down into the back of the opponent's skull to finish them off.

A brutal, raw technique, the practitioner quickly dashes into an opponent's range, often after avoiding an enemy attack, momentarily torquing the muscles in their legs before launching a powerful knee strike directly up into the target's diaphragm and sternum in an attempt to stagger the opponent. Aside from potentially fracturing or even breaking bones, the opponent can potentially be left winded. This sudden attack can potentially open up many vulnerable areas on the opponent's body for possible finishing moves.

A difficult technique designed to use the opponent's own forward moment against them, the practitioner waits until the opponent begins advancing. Then, waiting for the opponent to launch an attack, the practitioner throws themselves bodily into the opponent before the attack is executed, slamming into the opponent and potentially stunning them. Then, momentarily torquing the muscles in their body, the practitioner grabs the opponent's arm and releases that energy into a violent downward flip that accelerates the throw to the practitioner's max Speed. The practitioner drops to one knee to finish the throw right in front of them, cratering their opponent as they immediately bring their blade down to stab the opponent in the chest, neck, or head. This technique can be used as its own attack or as a counterattack.

Varying in usefulness depending on the practitioner's position in relation to the opponent or the reach of the opponent's weapon, the practitioner places themselves slightly offset to one side in the path of an opponent's attack. The practitioner then attempts to catch the opponent's blade or weapon, latching on tightly at the weapon's dullest point. If the practitioner catches the opponent's weapon, and if the practitioner's Strength stat is higher than their opponent's Strength stat the practitioner can immediately yank the weapon from the opponent's grip, disarming them.

Used both as a regular aggressive attack or as a counterattack, the practitioner will grab one of the opponent's arms with their unarmed hand. Immediately dropping down during the execution of the punch, the opponent is cratered into the ground and potentially stunned, allowing the practitioner to quickly slit the opponent's throat and finish the match.

A technique both used as an attack on its own or as a counterattack, the practitioner rushes in close to the opponent and feints a slash by crossing their arms together. Instead, however, the practitioner momentarily torques the muscles in their arms and violently rams their head upwards into the opponent's chin, potentially stunning them. Almost immediately after delivering the headbutt, the practitioner released the tension in their muscles, pushing out the sword arm with their unarmed hand, resulting in a slash that immediately accelerates to the practitioner's maximum Speed, often fatally wounding the opponent as the blade slashes through muscle, bone, major vessels, and organs. Opponents with a higher Willpower than the user's Strength can resist being stunned.

A full-committal technique, the practitioner momentarily torques every muscle in their body as they evade an opponent's attack(s). As soon as an opportunity presents itself, the practitioner releases the tension and bursts forward instantly, immediately accelerating to their maximum speed. In quick succession, the practitioner starts by slipping their foot between the opponent's legs and behind one of their knees to cut off escape and compromise the opponent's balance. Next, the practitioner hooks their arm around the opponent's elbow and put pressure on the outside of the joint, forcing the arm to hyper-extend and expose their center of mass. Finally, in that short moment, the practitioner brings their sword to pierce any one of the opponent's vital organs or their aorta, though most practitioners aim for the heart. This technique is not without risk, as an opponent with an equal or higher Strength stat than the practitioner Strength stat will be able to resist the practitioner's clinches and possibly even counterattack.

Prerequisite(s): 35 Strength.
The practitioner will momentarily torque the muscles in their legs as they brace themselves against the earth. Then, the practitioner will rocket forth in a dash towards the opponent, the force of their movement causing a localized earthquake within a number of meters equal to the practitioner's Strength. The earthquake rocks the ground with a force equivalent to 2/3 the practitioner's Strength stat, rounded down. Opponents with lesser Strength than the Strength of the earthquake are stumbled, the movements of the ground preventing them from moving as they're unable to hold themselves up. The practitioner then slams into the opponent with a charging attack. This charging attack will knock any opponent with a lower Strength than the practitioner's Strength up to ten meters away aside from causing significant damage. The practitioner can choose what form this attacks takes, such as a punch, kick, knee, elbow strike, headbutt, shoulder charge, etc.

The samurai of the Land of Tea have produced a unique style of Kenjutsu called Iaido. Unlike other styles, which rely on the sword being drawn to attack, a practitioner of Iaido is always ready to attack their opponents, even when their weapon is sheathed in its scabbard. Known as a "sword drawing" technique, Iaido uses the smooth, linear motion of pulling the sword from its sheath to create abnormally fast slashes and strikes against often ignorant and unsuspecting opponents. Though the katana is preferred for this style, any curved sword single-edged sword with a complimenting scabbard is compatible with this style. Taking a deep breath and regulating their breathing, the practitioner assumes a crouched stance, leaning forward slightly as their sword hand hovers over the hilt of their blade, the scabbard's edge firmly gripped with their opposing hand. Forcing external distractions out of the mind such as pain, fatigue, and non-critical environmental distractions, the practitioner directs all of their focus onto a single opponent, dropping themselves into a trance called the Theta state. The Theta state allows the practitioner to react almost instinctively to each action of the opponent. These reactions happen so quickly that a proficient user of this stance can commonly interrupt or counter an opponent's actions with a movement or slash before they even finish it. This stance will constantly drain the practitioner while in use, and it is both ineffective and dangerous to use when fighting multiple opponents. If the opponent has a Perception Technique equal or higher in ranking this technique is rendered useless.

Conversely, against opponents with higher Strength than their own, the practitioner can use this technique to push themselves back a number of meters equal to their own Strength score. Though powerful, this move is not without risk, as sheathing the blade may take longer than normal after using it due to the commitment this technique requires.

Otherwise, they cannot accurately read the attack and will be unlikely to completely avoid the attack, if at all.

An abnormally aggressive technique in Iaido, this technique serves as a preemptive counter, attacking the opponent in the split moment between drawing back to prepare an attack and launching said attack. Violently torquing the muscles in their legs, the practitioner more quickly accelerates to their maximum speed (or instantly accelerating to their max speed if their Strength is equal or higher than their Speed) than with normal movement. With this movement, the practitioner bolts toward the opponent and launches an attack, cutting the opponent as they pass to their side. This technique can be used while moving to immediately change direction instead before launching the attack. This technique is ineffective against opponent's with Speed stats higher than the practitioner's Speed stat.

Making use of the trademark speed of Iaido to intercept enemy attacks, the practitioner draws their blade in a wide arc. This defensive slash allows the practitioner to deflect projectiles and clash with an opponent's weapon. Additionally, so long as the practitioner's Speed is equal to or higher than the opponent's Speed, this technique can be used to intercept and interrupt an opponent's technique or attack by striking the weapon or an area of the opponent's body before the attack reaches maximum strength and staggering them.

A technique further refining the concept of targeting multiple opponents with a single draw, the practitioner uses their sheath hand to reverse grip the hilt. Using the one hand, the practitioner quickly torques their body and cuts with a reverse hand slash a full 360 degrees before immediately sheathing the blade. This technique can strike multiple opponents at once, and the reverse grip of the sword allows the practitioner to more easily defend against counterattacks immediately after.

Unlike most of Iaido's techniques, Silent Passing is not particularly useful in the heat of combat. Instead, it is an attack meant to be executed from a standing position, such as while casually walking towards an opponent. Once in close enough proximity to the opponent, the practitioner draws their sword, strikes the opponent's opening, and sheaths their blade with such speed, it appears to the untrained eye that the practitioner continued to simply walk past their target. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have a Perception Technique equal to or higher in rank. Otherwise, the opponent will not be capable of fully avoiding this attack if they are in range without some sort of passive defense.

Drawing upon the superlative speed of Iaido, the practitioner momentarily torques the muscles in their body to instantly accelerate to their maximum speed. Dashing a number of meters equal to the practitioner's Strength, they draw their sword from its scabbard and deliver a blindingly fast slash before resheathing their blade. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have a Perception Technique equal to or higher in rank. Otherwise, the opponent cannot accurately read the attack and will be unlikely to completely avoid the attack, if at all.

The superlative speed of Iaido is harnessed to attain seemingly supernatural feats. By momentarily torquing the muscles in their arms, the practitioner manages slashes so fast that they spawn vacuum blades that follow the trajectory of their original attack. This attack spawns a single vacuum blade that travels up to a number of meters equal to half the practitioner's Speed, rounded down, and hits with 1/2 the strength of the original attack, rounded down. If this this technique is used in tangent with a melee attack, the vacuum blade strikes immediately after the original attack is finished, potentially sealing the opponent's guard and creating an opening. This technique can be used in conjunction with other techniques.

An unorthodox application of Iaido, the practitioner quickly draws their sword and then immediately sheaths the blade with all of their strength, slamming the tsuba against the scabbard. This high speed sheathing technique, known as notojutsu, causes a hypersonic wave to shoot out for a number of meters equal to 1/2 the practitioner's Strength stat, rounded down, in all directions. Opponents within range of this technique must have an Endurance higher than the opponent's Strength to resist the effects of this technique. Otherwise, any opponent within that range will suffer a -6 penalty to their Willpower for the next two posts, the high frequency sound interfering with their hearing and sense of equilibrium.

Building upon the principle set by Phantom Funeral, this technique serves as a defense for the practitioner. By momentarily torquing the muscles in their arms, the practitioner spawns a vacuum in front of them. The practitioner immediately follows up by pulling the scabbard up to strike through the vacuum, causing the vacuum to collapse violently. The resulting radial shockwave pushes the opponent back with a Strength equal to 1/2 the practitioner's Strength, rounded down, for a number of meters equal to 1/2 the practitioner's Strength, rounded down. This shockwave is ineffective against enemies with a higher Strength than the shockwave. Conversely, the practitioner may choose to ride the shockwave, pushing themselves back and away from the opponent the same distance.

This technique adapts the Phantom Funeral technique to fight against multiple opponents. Momentarily torquing their body, the practitioner quickly spins in a full circle and slashes in a single movement, the movement happening so quickly that it's difficult to even see the initial slash being performed. Aside from the first slash being deadly in its own right, the speed of the slash creates a spiraling vortex of vacuum blades five meters high that expands outward up to a number of meters equal to half the practitioner's speed, rounded down. The vacuum blades strike with 1/3 the strength and speed of the original attack, rounded down.

Overwhelming the opponent with a literal shower of high-speed slashes, the practitioner torques the muscles in their arm to draw their sword and continue to assault the opponent's defenses with a seemingly unending wave of slashes. By torquing the muscles in the arm and twisting the wrist when changing the direction of the slash, each strike of the sword is as fast as if it had been drawn from its scabbard. This technique can be used while moving, and the practitioner can feint strikes within the flurry to throw the opponent off-guard. This technique can be used for up to three posts.

Pushing past the limits of normal human movement, the practitioner moves at the exact same speed, in the exact same direction, at the exact same time, and for the exact same distance as their opponent. This assures that the opponent will always remain in the practitioner's effective attack range. In order for this technique to operate at its peak efficiency, the practitioner must have a Speed and Strength score equal to or higher than the opponent’s Speed and Strength Scores. While this technique can be used regardless of stat differences, opponents with a higher speed can outpace the practitioner and pull away from them, and opponents with higher strength can accelerate more quickly than the practitioner, giving the opponent time to take countermeasures against the practitioner’s attacks. This technique can be used for a number of posts equal to 1/3 of the practitioner's Speed score, rounded down.

Over time Tatsuo has developed a keen nose. He can pick up on faint scents that average shinobi wouldn’t even notice to the point where he can distinguish the individual body scents of people as well as determine specific species of animals even by just a strand of hair. The passive range of this ability is 40 meters though if he has picked up on a trail he can continue to follow it to its source assuming there are still scent particles in the air or physical remnants of a trail.

Humans are being of habits and patterns, this is no exception in combat, ranging from taijutsu to hand seals. Patterns already being easier to remember, the user has worked hard at actively committing whatever he sees to his short-term memory. This allows him to remember things such as the beginning wind up to a strike or a hand seal pattern after seeing it once, so that he can recognize the technique if used later in a battle.

The user has trained their body and as such can use their oversized shiin/weapon with such ease that the usual encumbrance of such large weapons is as if nothing to them. This allows the user to use their shiin/weapon with the same speed and control as a smaller, more easily controlled weapon, such as a ninjato or katana. The benefits of this are incredibly useful, as this allows them to attack with incredible speed and accuracy without sacrificing their power, as well as block efficiently between blows.

The user has learned how to toughen his body to an extreme degree, turning his skin harder than steel in the midst of combat, taking this readied stance at his speed, and giving his skin an effective strength of his own strength.

Tatsuo is sensitive to vibrations in the ground and can automatically pinpoint the location of anything that is in contact with the ground within a 100-meter radius. While underwater, Tatsuo can still use his tremorsense by backtracking the vibrations that carry in water.

The user has become so adept at using his heavy phasmashiin that he can do so one handed with no penalty. The user can perform any Shiin Usage taijutsu of A rank or lower single handedly, and can maneuver their shiin fluidly and accurately with only one hand. This has the added benefit of freeing up their other hand, allowing them to use their other hand for a variety of purposes while maintaining an offensive advance.

A user with this technique has trained themselves to ignore even the most painful of wounds. This isn't to say that the damage of the wound is ignored; a grievous wound will still cause damage to the user's body and could inhibit their abilities or kill them outright. This discipline simply allows the user to treat pain as if it doesn't exist through shear force of body and will, allowing them to charge straight through attacks and jutsu to deliver their onslaught of attacks.

The user has undergone years of training their hearing to levels that are beyond human. The user is able to pick up and detect the faintest of whispers, the softest of noises, and even those with lower ranked [Stealth] techniques. By using his enhanced senses of smell and hearing, Tatsuo is able to act as a type of natural lie detector by detecting the faint change in a person's heartbeat and scent due to perspiration when a lie is told. This is rendered ineffective against those who have an A-Rank or higher Stealth technique to fool Tatsuo's senses, or those who do not have a heart beat or sweat glands (i.e. Elemental Body).

The user has trained themselves to move at such high speeds during activities such as running or fighting they produce an afterimage. This afterimage makes their movements look to 'lag' behind. This makes their blows impossible to follow and properly anticipate for those without a perception technique of a similar rank.

The user centers their mind and body for 1 post and enters a null state. Their chakra signature will fade over this post and eventually disappear entirely. Each time the user makes a noise, it travels 80 meters and provides them with a mental 3D image of the surrounding area. They can detail size, shape, surface features, and density but cannot details such things as color.

In the event Tatsuo loses his arms or legs and is unable to heal the wound, his control over his melashiin is so great he may fashion them into pseudo-limbs. By wrapping around the stump of a lost limb, the tentacle will form a spring-like pseudo-limb that can be used for movement similar to that which it is replacing. Due to the nature of the Melashiin, things such as fists or hand seals cannot be made.

Having spent as much time hunting as he has, Tatsuo has learnt how to hide his tracks and scent-trails as efficiently as he can follow them. He understands which plants can mask his scent, how to leave false scent trails and broken branches to throw off pursuers, and move in such a way as to prevent leaving a trail of his own. While applying this technique he slows his movement to half of what he would be capable of. Those following him require a tracking technique equal to or above the rank of this technique in order to not be fooled by the false trails.

Tatsuo begins to move so fast that he can create afterimages of himself. This can potentially cause an opponent to get easily confused by the afterimages so Tatsuo can capitalize on an opponent's openings. The number of afterimages he can create in a single post is determined by his (Speed)/5 and Tatsuo can maintain this for up to (Endurance)/5 posts.

The user will move an arm, leg, or other appendage to deflect or block strikes and projectiles aimed at them. Once an attack comes within range, the user will lash out with their appendage of choice and bat away the incoming attack.

The user will raise their arms or other appendages up high as they engage in combat with someone and gather strength. They will then slam their arm(s) or other appendages onto the opponent and force them onto their knees if they have less Strength than the user.

[Grab]

The user will grab and lock an opponent's limb in their grip, whether it be their hands or other appendage. The opponent will be unable to break free of the user's grip unless they have equal or greater Strength. Those who try to break free of the grip but cannot and have less Endurance than the users Strength will dislocate the closest joint.

The user will strike low with their leg or other appendage towards an opponent in an attempt to trip them up. Those who are caught are taken off of their feet and made momentarily airborne before the user follows up with a strike to the chest.

Tatsuo will engage with an opponent once his shiin are out. He will launch a flurry of punches and kicks at his opponent while also attacking from multiple directions with his shiin which will attempt to pierce through his foe while their attention is divided. Opponents with less Speed than he will be unable to defend against all angles.

A combination attack started by the user unleashing a powerful kick to either side of their opponent. They will then place themselves behind the target and unleash a quick flurry of strikes with their fists and shiin before kicking another side and repeating the process. This process can keep going ad infinitum or until the practitioner disengages.

Pushing his speed to his absolute limits, Tatsuo will utilize this technique in order to approach his target in a manner that throws off their concentration and makes his next attack unpredictable. This approach is made more or less effective depending on the opponent's abilities.
  • Perception Technique one rank less than Tatsuo's Speed = Tatsuo's movements appear distorted as long as he continues to move at full speed.
  • Perception Technique two ranks less than Tatsuo's Speed = Tatsuo becomes a complete blur as long as he continues to move at full speed.
  • Perception Technique three ranks less than Tatsuo's Speed = Tatsuo is almost completely invisible as long as he continues to move at full speed.

Tatsuo will ball a hand into a fist and then strike the air at his side causing vibrations to fill a [Strength]x[Strength]x[Strength]m area. These vibrations will drown out all noises within the area and fill the hearing of those caught with a high droning pitch for 3 posts. Those with active and passive hearing based Perception techniques will continue to hear this droning pitch for an additional 3 post after the vibrations end.

Tatsuo can "kick" off the air due to his massive Strength to propel himself in a chosen direction. He is propelled through the air at a [Speed] equal to his [Strength] for a number of meters equal to his [Strength].

Prerequisite: 35 Strength
Tatsuo will build strength in his fist. As he builds up strength and releases it, it will shoot a dense air pocket in the form of a 5x5x5m bullet that moves and strikes at his [Strength]. The air ignites from the sheer force and will cause 2nd degree burns on impact. The dense bullet of air will travel up to [Strength] meters before dissipating.

The user will rely on their superior speed to dance in between targets to create multiple openings for them to strike with their limbs and shiin. The user will unload on a single target with their fists and shiin before they will move to a new opponent and do the same to them in the time it takes the first to recover. They can keep this process up as long as they are allowed.

Prerequisite: 20 Strength
Tatsuo dodges an opponent's strike by crouching below it and attacks the opponent's chest with an upward punch, kick, or shiin strike to their lower rib cage with all his strength in an attempt to break the lower ribs to debilitate the opponent's breathing. This strike if successful and acted upon with full power causes the opponent to become short of breath, and possibly cause bones to put pressure on their opponent's lungs furthering their inhibition to breath. The user must have higher Strength than the Opponent’s Endurance to be successful with this jutsu.

The user will stretch out their hands and bring them together in a powerful clap. The force of the clap is so powerful it creates a sonic boom, creating a blast of air around him that blows away everything with [Strength] and deafens those with less [Endurance] than the user's [Strength].

The user will strike their opponent with enough strength to cause five aftershocks to course through their entire body each equal to the user's [Strength]. The user focuses an amount of muscle tension and force into a single point onto the blade of their phasmashiin, usually the upper half, and then drives it down with enough force to cause a pressure wave to fly forward 60 meters. This pressure wave moves with [Strength] [Speed] and [Strength].

By moving any part of their body fast enough, the user builds up a significant buffer of air pressure, which surrounds that body part. This allows the user to touch and deflect, or reflect, fists, blades, or even ninjutsu so long as its strength is less than or equal to the user's [Strength], with nearly no damage to the user, even from passive effects.

The user pulls their arm back over and across their body and balls up their fist, building up tremendous stress and tension in the muscles of their body. When the user chooses they will slam their arm forward with such incredible force that the air they strike visibly shatters as if made of glass. The resulting shock-wave radiates outwards from the user in a 110 meter cone, ripping through anything that it comes in contact with at [Strength] equal to the users’ [Strength]. Earth, trees, buildings, boulders, etc. are all shaken to the point of breaking apart or collapsing, huge chunks of the upper crust of the earth jutting upwards in jagged hunks up to 110 meters tall. If used over water the water will roil and rage as if by a severe storm or earthquake, creating tidal waves that rise as high as 110 meters before they come crashing down. This maneuver boasts not only incredibly raw power but versatility as well as the shock-waves created from the initial strike can be used like a shield or a wall, blocking or ‘striking back’ against oncoming offensive techniques as they rip and tear through the land and thus deflecting or otherwise interrupting them so long as the [Strength] of the shock-wave is greater than the [Strength] of the technique used.

Then, in one incredible move, the user slams their shiin to the ground with such force that they release a wave of pure force with their swing. The force of the initial blow shatters the ground on contact, and the force of the wave extends out from the user in a 40-meter radius, the earth will continue to be torn asunder by the power of the slash. This not only shakes the earth with incredible violence for 3 posts, requiring [Strength] equal to or higher than the [Strength] of the user to stand reliably, but also threatens to rip anyone in the area apart as well due to the immense jagged rocks being shot up from the ground at the user's [Strength].

By first entering his Mirage Assault, Tatsuo races around a 50m area, creating afterimages that seem to be actual physical copies of himself, capable of turning and making a false attack in the direction of the target or going in the opposite direction of Tatsuo's actual travel path. Tatsuo makes a series of actual attacks equal to his (Speed/2) in quick succession, so fast in fact that the afterimages he leaves during the attacks combine with the attacks themselves and false images to make it seem as though Tatsuo is making all the attacks at once and from every angle possible.

The opposite of [Killer Intent], [Apathy] suppresses the user's malicious intent while remaining the ability to kill. Tatsuo will impose his will upon any living being within a 30 meter radius, friend and foe alike, for 5 posts. Those caught within this range will be unable to feel endangered and threatened by him as long as he remains in their line of sight. The longer they remain within this field the less frightening he comes, eventually causing them to completely trust and believe him, allowing him to attack without even the slightest hint of preparing to do so. If the target has an equal or greater Willpower, they can shake this feeling off, but the lower the number is in comparison, the faster the effects are felt.

A foundational technique for the rest of Renjutsu, this discipline means that while addressing a crowd, even if they are against him or his goal, in the beginning, he can read the room and approach them in a way to draw them to his side. This can be done in many ways, such as by picking out individual members to bring over, creating a domino effect, or making appeals to logic or emotion.

However, doing so costs him more energy than usual, reducing his effective Willpower by 5 for stat battles during this.

While employing one of his Killer Intent techniques, Tatsuo can rein in his Willpower to a certain extent, doing so however takes focus. For each creature he chooses to not subject to his Killer Intent, Tatsuo suffers -3 to his Willpower. He can maintain this for as long as his Killer Intent remains active.

Tatsuo focuses the area of his Killer Intent, reducing it to an area 5 meters around him. Those affected by it will find themselves instinctively reacting to the Flight response of Fight or Flight, and be overwhelmed by the urge to run as far from Tatsuo as they possibly can in the opposite direction. This effect lingers for 1 post after they leave the area of his Killer Intent.

Tatsuo focuses his will over the targets caught in his Killer Intent, probing them to so if they have an intent or want to harm him. If the target has an equal or greater Willpower, they can shake this feeling off and shield their own motives, but the lower the number is in comparison, the faster the effects are felt.

By first taking the sides of a target's head in his hands, Tatsuo will attempt to make eye contact with them. Should they look into Tatsuo's eyes, they will find themselves unable to look away while a feeling of subservience fills them. While Tatsuo maintains physical contact with the target, they will suffer -3 to their Willpower per post, allowing Tatsuo to better interrogate them. The reduction to their Willpower stacks per post, resulting in -9 by the third post, at which point the technique ends.

Through additional training and experimentation, Tatsuo is able to compress the size of the Dominion [Ananta] spreads out, selectively control what it affects, and disable the Dominion. The reduction to their Willpower stacks per post, resulting in -9 by the third post, at which point the technique ends.

Much the opposite of Unrest, this technique allows Tatsuo to satisfy a crowd with his words. This causes the people affected to be generally happier in demeanor towards him, or whatever he has drawn their attention to. Sometimes this is done with promises, empty or not, but is often done through simple appeals to logic or emotion.

For when playing a long game, after appealing directly to the crowd, Tatsuo can make a call to action. This call to action can be anything from "farm the fields" to "get rid of the emperor." While not everyone in the crowd can be swayed to such calls to action, the purpose of this is to put the idea in people's minds that this is what needs to be done. Over time, this will lead to small groups forming splinter cells with the call to action in mind, and if left untended will lead to long-term effects such as rebellion.

With the previous call to action and the aforementioned splinter cells in place, the command will be headed by both those who had already been working towards it, as well as those who were on the fence beforehand. This leads to that call to action being attempted immediately.

Taking most of a post to stir up a crowd, Tatsuo's charisma and emotions leaks off into them incidentally. With both his and the crowd's emotions high, the crowd becomes capable of superhuman feats, effectively becoming an S-rank swarm in size and power. This stirring of the crowd can last for up to six posts for combat or can be used for non-combat purposes such as construction and the like to rapidly put together or tear apart nearly anything.

A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
In the event a patient has passed, in some cases it is possible to resuscitate the patient. Most major injuries must be first treated, as any untreated injuries would simply cause the patient to perish after resuscitation. Should the injuries be treated and this technique be initiated within 2 posts of the target's death, the user will applies pressure to a series of pressure points and begin CPR, bringing the patient back to life. This technique will inevitably fail if not initiated within the 2 post period.

The user will move towards a target with either a sharp weapon or their hand. Targeting a pressure point on their carotid artery, the user will either stab it (with a weapon) or pinch it (with their hand). Should they be successful, any targets with less than 35 Endurance will faint. This loss of consciousness will last for at least 2 posts.

The user channels the needed chakra to their blade and will strike a spirit, Jinchuuriki, elemental body, or other such being with it. The strike will slice through and disrupt their chakra and cause either a -3 Mastery or -3 Control if an elemental body or spirit. This infusion lasts for 3 posts.

The user channels the needed chakra and then lets out a roar infused with his Killer Intent and Tenkujutsu; any creature, human, spirit, Jinchuuriki, elemental body or other such being that is aware of Tatsuo within 60 meters of his position and can hear will be affected by this technique. They will be filled with a sudden sensation of pure fear and be unable to willingly move closer to the user. The sensation will disrupt the connection between host and spirit and reduce their Mastery by -3 per post for 3 posts. For beings such as spirits or elemental bodies, their Willpower will be reduced by 3 per post as their body shakes in natural response to fear. The reduction to their Willpower stacks per post, resulting in -9 by the third post, at which point the technique ends.[/spoil]

Taking the form of an almost opaque armor with an appearance of glass, the lacrishiin almost completely covers the user's body. As a pseudoarmor, the lacrishiin has Endurance equal to the user's Endurnace+3, while causing the user to move with -3 Speed.

Channeling chakra to their shiin, they cause it to inflate, fully forming into its full glory. Taking the form of an almost opaque armor with an appearance of glass, the lacrishiin almost completely covers the user's body. As a pseudoarmor, the lacrishiin has Endurance equal to the user's.

Channeling chakra to their shiin, they cause it to inflate, fully forming into its full glory. Taking the form of a helmet, the astrashiin is perhaps the weakest of the shiin, having only half the user's Endurance.

Ero-Phasmashiin: Formation

The user channels chakra to the shiin organ and causes it to inflate to its full form. The ero-phasmashiin emerges from shoulder blades and form into 6'5" tall wings. The wings themselves boast a sleek, membranous structure reminiscent of bat wings, with a delicate, almost translucent quality that allows them to catch and play with ambient light. However, woven into the very fabric of these wings is a lattice of lightweight, yet incredibly durable, opaque violet scales. This armored framework serves a functional aesthetic purpose, ensuring they can withstand the rigors of flight and potential encounters with adversaries.

Dergo-Phasmashiin: Formation
D-Rank Ninjutsu
The user channels chakra to the shiin organ and causes it to inflate to its full form. The dergo-phasmashiin forms around the left forearm in the design of a heavy crossbow. Two chitinous growths form the limbs of the bow while a 'rail' running down the forearms serves as a barrel to hold and stabilize the projectile. A heavy bolt made of the same chitinous material rests along the top of the forearm ready to fire.

A partially automatic technique once learned, but can be stopped if need-be, the user is able to cause the manifested form of their shiin to deflate at command or whenever they go unconscious. While the uses of this aren't directly obvious, it does allow them to hide the fact that they do in fact have a shiin.

By doing the needed hand seals, the user is able to channel chakra directly into their shiin. This strengthens the armor, giving it an extra 10 Endurance. However, while doing so, they are unable to use any ninjutsu or genjutsu while this is in effect. This lasts as long as they continue to channel chakra into their shiin.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will focus chakra into a rope, wire, or a similar object in their possession. The object will then lash out at a target at [Control] Speed for up to 25 meters attempting to then coil around them and bind them. After coiling around the target, the chakra will cause the object to harden to [Control] Strength. After 4 posts the chakra will run out and the bind will break.

Despite requiring both hands and more time than *[Basic Jutsu • Chakra Kai], Multiple Chakra Kai allows the user to activate up to five objects simultaneously, up to 25 meters away.

The user performs the needed hand seals and form an aura of chakra around their body. The user then quickly expels the gathered chakra in a shockwave with [Control] Strength and Speed in a diameter of 25 meters with the epicenter being the user

After performing the correct hand seals the user will imbue an item with their chakra that is no larger than a basketball. The next thing to touch the object within 3 posts will feel the chakra lurch off the object, surging into their body and overwhelming them. For those with less than [Control] Strength they will find themselves immobile for the next 5 posts. If the target that touches the object has [Control] or higher Strength, they will find themselves unaffected.

After performing the correct hand seals the user proceeds to create a number of clones of themselves (maximum is equal to 1/3rd the users Chakra Pool). Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies of the user in both appearance and substance. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own, be given complex commands, caught in genjutsu, and can even bleed, but they will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original and any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. Given that the clones are an exact replica of the user, they share the same stats except for Chakra Pool, which is determined by the number of clones presently in effect.

*[Ninjutsu • Body Flicker Technique]

After channeling chakra into their body, the user enhances their movement to attack or retreat suddenly, the ninja almost instantly moves up to 20 meters on the ground in a single straight direction. While doing this, the ninja cannot move through anything or anyone, nor can they supplement it with an attack of any kind. After the quick movement has stopped, there is a brief pause where the user must recover from the movement. Even though it's not a full teleportation, this jutsu uses up one of the 2 teleportations a character can use in a single thread.

A technique used by medical shinobi to deduce what is going on with a patient. They will perform a hand seal and green chakra will cover their hands. From there, they may place them upon a number of patients equal to their [Chakra Pool]/2. Their chakra will travel through the patient at [Control] Speed before coming back to them and allowing the medical shinobi to be able to tell their patients temperature, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and heart rate for as long as they have chakra.

*[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After focusing chakra into their hands, the user will hover them over the bleeding wound and begin to channel chakra through it. The chakra will began to thicken the blood, causing it to clot at [Control] Speed. Wounds can be dealt with one limb at a time and the number of wounds that can be tended to within the three (3) posts that this technique lasts depends on their size. Although this technique stops the bleeding, the wound remains vulnerable and will require further care after this has been performed.

*[Iijutsu • Bandage Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user may channel chakra into an object (such as a leaf, piece of cloth, etc.) in the absence of bandages to sterilize it and is able to apply it to the wound of a patient. Once applied, the selected object will adhere to the flesh around the wound, protecting it from bacteria and other harmful foreign bodies. Wounds covered by this jutsu not only are safeguarded against bacteria but also applied an antiseptic and burn ointment to further provide aid.

The user channels the required chakra throughout their body to supercharge its natural recovery. The users natural Enhanced Stamina Regeneration will work overtime and reduce the post count required per wound by 1 post for the next 3 posts.

*[Iijutsu • Local Anesthesia]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user will channel chakra into their hands and then place them over a group of muscles. Their chakra will spread through the muscle group at [Control Speed and numbness will begin to creep throughout it, beginning with the flesh before seeping into the muscle below. This numbing begins where the user has placed his/her hands and spreads outward until the hands are removed. The numbness can only cause pain equivalent to being stabbed with a kunai to be nullified. Once numbed, the effects last for four (4) posts before fading.

*[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user will channel their chakra and then make a small incision on the patient before placing their hands over the new wound. As this chakra is channeled into the body, the poison is extracted and contained in a green orb of chakra in the user's palm at [Control] Speed. Once extracted, the liquid poison will be suspended in the containment orb. Their chakra then mutates the poison at [Control] speed and rearranges it into an antidote. This antidote is effective on C-rank or lower poisons and induces immunity to the specific poison the patient was ailed with for 7 posts.

Prerequisite: Iijutsu Concentration
While still part of the body, each and every shiin has remarkable regeneration rates. Normally not enough to fully recover in battle, with rest, a shiin is able to recover itself in a few days, even if the manifested organ has been sliced to pieces, as long as the base organ remains in tact, taking chakra from the Akari, forcing them to rest longer than a normal ninja.

[Iijutsu • Minor Mystical Palm]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 5 Iijutsu
A minor version of one of the almighty and most highly coveted abilities of medical-nin, the *[Iijutsu • Mystical Palm Lesser]. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will place them over the wound in question and begin to channel chakra through it. As the chakra interacts with the cells and tissues in the area, the wound will begin to regenerate and heal over until there's no remnant of it ever being there. Of course, this is not done in the blink of an eye. It takes some time (4 posts) to heal small-to-moderate wounds, while large wounds take six (6) posts of concentration to mend, and the user is unable to heal mortal wounds. This technique lasts for six (6) posts.

[Iijutsu • Lesser Mystical Palm]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 10 Iijutsu
A lesser version of one of the almighty and most highly coveted abilities of medical-nin, the *[Iijutsu • Mystical Palm Lesser]. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will place them over the wound in question and begin to channel chakra through it. As the chakra interacts with the cells and tissues in the area, the wound will begin to regenerate and heal over until there's no remnant of it ever being there. Of course, this is not done in the blink of an eye. To heal small-to-moderate wounds, it takes some time (3 posts), while large wounds take four (4) post of concentration to mend, and mortal wounds take a total of six (6) posts to fully mend. This technique lasts for seven (7) posts, but due to its chakra-extensive nature, users are not advised to treat multiple large wounds in a single use.

~[Enhanced Regeneration]
B-Ranked Iijutsu
Requirements: ~Basic Regeneration, Iijutsu Concentration
Going above and beyond the normal regeneration capabilities, a shiin is able to utilize some of the user's chakra in order to restore itself to fighting capacity. While not instant, a shiin is able to recover and rebuild itself in [20-(Endurance/3)] posts. A melashiin is able to recover itself in [20-(Endurance/2)] posts instead. Either way, the fastest that a shiin can recover this way is in 2 posts. During this time, the shiin is unable to manifest.

~[Perfect Regeneration]

Coming close to perfecting the regeneration factors of their shiin, the Akari member is able to recover their shiin almost as soon as it is destroyed. While the pain is still there, the shiin can recover itself in [15-(Endurance/3 posts)]. A melashiin is able to recover itself in [10-(Endurance/2)] posts instead. Either way, the fastest that a shiin can recover this way is in 1 post. During this time, the shiin is unable to manifest.

After the correct hand seals are performed, the user coats themselves in a thick layer of lightning. This armour of lightning forms near instantly and requires [Control] Strength to break. During this time, the user's physical strikes apply the Raiton shocking effect.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will extend two fingers toward a target. A bolt of lightning will jump up to 10 meters from their fingers at [Control] Speed and Strength.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will coat a weapon they are holding in Raiton electricity for 5 posts. This causes the shock effect to be produced on any contact with a target, while also granting blunt weapons the ability to cut through skin to produce shallow wounds. This also works for thrown weapons, however if the projectile remains out of contact with the user for more than 2 posts the technique will dissipate early.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will channel Raiton chakra to two of their fingers. They will then be able to fire up to three total bullet sized balls of concentrated lightning from their fingertips. These bullets will travel at [Control] speed, but will not have any physical force. Instead, they will apply light electrical burns similar to a sun burn and will apply Raiton's shocking effect.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will create a 1 meter long rod of lightning in their hand at [Control] Speed. They are then able to launch it at their Strength in a single direction. Upon contact the spear will explode with [Control] Strength. If it has not been launched by the end of the second post it will dissipate.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will seep Raiton chakra in an area around them with a 25m diameter. The user's Raiton will constrict and paralyze jutsu and people who enter it. They will lose -1 Speed per post for 2 posts or until the user ends the jutsu.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will create a clone out of their Raiton chakra. This clone will have the users stats. It lasts for [Control/5] posts.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will seep Raiton chakra in an area around them with a 25m diameter. This will produce an electric current on the ground in this area visible as crackling lightning on the surface. Any other than the user who step into this zone will have the shocking effect applied and their legs will sustain [Control] Strength shocks. This current lasts 3 posts, while it ends immediately if the user leaves the area.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user creates an orb of lightning the size of a basketball slightly above their head. They are then able to direct the orb at [Control] Speed at their will, however they may not move while doing this. The orb cannot leave 25m diameter around the user, and detonates with [Control] Strength on contact with a solid. This orb last a maximum of 4 posts, and may be self destructed at any moment in their lifespan at the user's will.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user emits a wave of electricity from their palm in a single direction. This is produced as a 10m wide line which extends 2m into the air and travels up to 25m from the user at [Control] Speed. The wave will apply the shocking effect and reduce the speed of any living thing it strikes by 3 Speed for 3 posts by electrically interfering with the brain's nervous signals.

The user performs the needed hand seals and form an aura of Raiton chakra around their body. The user is then able to expel the gathered chakra in a shockwave with [Control] Strength and Speed while applying the Raiton passive in a diameter of 25 meters with the epicenter being the user.

The user will perform hand seals and gather chakra in the palms of their hands to form two separate orbs of Raiton chakra. These orbs can be thrown like projectiles and after reaching a max distance of 25 meters or making contact with something each orb will explode with [Control] Strength and apply the Raiton passive. They last for 5 posts or until launched.

The user performs the needed hand seals before thrusting their arms forward and summoning Raiton chakra in the form of a large 10x10m wave that surges forward with [Control] Speed and Strength for 25 meters.

[Collapsing Wall]

The user performs the needed hand seals before thrusting their arms forward and summoning Raiton chakra in the shape of a large wall in the direction of their arms. The wall stands 15 meters tall, 15 meters wide, and 1 meter thick when formed. It forms at [Control] Speed and defends with [Control] Strength and when destroyed applies the Raiton passive in a 5 meter radius by releasing 3 lightning bolts that strike with [Control] Speed and Strength.

The user performs the needed hand seals and gathers Raiton chakra in their limb. Their limb will glow with blue lightning for the remainder of the jutsu and their next strike will release a 2 meter long bolt of lightning that flies forward with [Control] Speed and Strength in addition to their normal strike. The user may store it for 3 posts otherwise the energy dissipates into nothingness.

The user performs the needed hand seals before grabbing and infusing their desired projectiles with Raiton chakra. They may infuse up to 10 projectiles with Raiton chakra before having to recast the jutsu. Once infused with the user's Raiton chakra, the projectiles may be left behind or placed in a strategic manner where they will explode once someone steps within 5 meters of them with [Control] Strength.

[Raiton • Shuriken Clone]
B-Rank Ninjutsu
The user will perform the needed hand seals and then take hold of a shuriken. The user will throw the shuriken and upon kai'ing the projectile, it will rapidly duplicate until it forms a densely packed 40-meter diameter cloud of that object, made completely of raiton. The cloned projectiles will propel forward from the origin shuriken at [Control] Speed and Strength while applying the Raiton passive.

B-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user will first perform the correct hand seals, and then fire a cone of lightning which begins at 5m wide closest to them and then 40m wide at the furthest point. The cone extends 40m from the user's body at [Control] Speed. This cascade of lightning roars tremendously loud, and strikes all caught within it at ]Control] Strength.

The user will first perform the correct hand seals before releasing a basketball sized orb of lightning 15m into the air. The orb will then cascade sheets of lightning down in the shape of a dome over the caster, with a 40m radius. This dome, apart from being exceptionally loud, forms a sort of protection against attacks. It comes into being at [Control] speed, and is able to redirect hits of up to [Control] strength in a downward direction. These sheets of lightning also serve as a visual obscurity. This technique lasts for up to 3 posts depending on the user's discretion.

The user of this technique will gather a concentrated amount of Raiton in their hand after they perform the hand seals for this technique. The lightning causes a sound similar to thousands of birds chirping over the top of each other while it is in existence. The user will then dash at full speed toward a target and attempt to thrust their hand into their target's body using their strength and momentum. The lightning then jumps from the user's arm into the opponent's body where it ravages the insides with a [Control] Strength surge of Raiton chakra.

The user performs the needed hand seals before thrusting their arms forward and summoning Raiton chakra in the shape of 4 2m lightning rods that shoot out and surround the area, up to 65m, in a square. These rods, once set up, then start to conduct Raiton chakra between them turning the area between the four rods into a sea of Raiton that strikes and binds any who enter it, sans the user, with [Control] Strength and Speed.

After performing the correct hand seals the user covers their body in a layer of visible static which crackles around them for 4 posts. Anything which comes within a 3 meters of their body will be repelled with [Control] Strength. Otherwise the armor operates like a normal barrier.

This technique visibly charges electricity for a single moment after the user performs their hand seals. Once this moment is over, it fires a massive column of lightning in a single direction, forming a cylinder with a 30m radius that extends up to 65m from the user's position. This cylinder travels at [Control] Speed and erupts on contact with [Control] Strength.

After performing the hand seals similar to that of the Thousand Birds technique, the user will begin to spark with various bolts of electricity. For up to 6 posts the user will be surrounded by a visible field of crackling lightning that mimics the sound of its parent technique, which will actively lash out at any person or metallic object within 65 meters of them at [Control] Speed and Strength.

The spikes fire at [Control] speed and hit with [Control] strength. While using this technique the user has to stay immobile and any movement will cancel the technique.

The user will perform the needed hand seals and then touch the ground. They will draw the required metals/minerals for a type of explosive (concussive, flash, or smoke) from it and form 5 canisters that'll explode upon impact when thrown. Explosives canisters release a [Control] Strength explosion over [Control]x[Control]x[Control]m while Flash and Smoke canisters explode with no Strength and cover [Control]x[Control]x[Control]m. Cannisters last for 5 posts before falling apart into useless pieces of metal.

[Steel Rain]

The user will perform the needed hand seals and then take hold of a shuriken. The user will throw the shuriken where it will rapidly duplicate until it forms a densely packed 40-meter diameter cloud of shuriken, made completely of Kouton. The swarm of projectiles will propel forward from the origin shuriken at [Control] Speed and Strength.

After performing the required hand seals, the user will kneel down and place their hands on the ground. Then, three 40 meter long chains with 50cm long blades at the end will burst from the ground toward a target at [Control] speed. They will bind the target with [Control] strength and attempt to either stake them into the ground or impale them upon the blades in the end of the chains. The chains will attempt to chase for 3 posts and if caught will remain taut and strong for 3 extra posts.

After performing the required hand seals, the user will channel kouton chakra into a metal weapon they are holding. Over the next 5 posts, the user is able to extend that blade by up to 40 meters, or retract it to its original size, at will. This will occur at [Control] speed and if used to attack an opponent it will also strike with [Control] strength. Because of the chakra running through the blade, it will not actually seem heavier or unbalanced from its normal parameters.

After performing the required hand seals, the user will kneel down and place their hands on the ground. Then, two halves of a metal prison will rise from the ground around a target at [Control] speed. This prison encompasses a 5m area around the target, and appears as a giant, hollow statue of a screaming woman. The inside of this prison is filled with long metal spikes which will impale the person trapped. The prison appears to have chains wrapping around the statue of the woman once it is complete, holding the halves together with [Control] strength. The structure itself also has [Control] strength. This technique lasts for 3 posts before the chains lose their tension.

*Kouton • Heaven's Wheel

After performing the required hand seals, the user will generate thirteen swords from metal which will spin slowly in a ring around them at waist height for 6 posts. They are able to do two things with these blades: either they can cause 2 blades to fly into their hands at [Control] speed at will, or they can fire one sword in a single direction with [Control] speed and strength for up to 60 meters. Each effect can only be activated once per post.

After performing the required hand seals, the user will place their hands on the ground. They will then be able to cause three 10 meter high, 3 meter thick, 6 meter long walls of steel with growling faces etched into the side to burst from the earth at [Control] speed at any place within 60 metres of the user. These walls require [Control] strength to break. After 6 posts they will lose their strength.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will fire one of the Heaven's Wheel blades straight up into the air. The blade will transform into 7 10-meter long swords, all connected by loose lengths of chain. These swords will then fall from the sky at [Control] speed, decimating an 80 meter area of the user's choosing with 7 hits of [Control] strength in close proximity. This technique is capable of levelling an entire battalion at once, leaving behind a huge crater with 7 large swords planted in the ground.

Shaping their chakra to take the form of a jutsu, or chakra affinity, the user will place their hand against a surface (most often a scroll) embedding that chakra into the surface, and forming a seal on it. Should another person touch the seal and perform the basic kai technique, their own chakra will be immediately shaped to match the chakra within the seal. This trains the recipient's chakra to take the new shape, immediately allowing them to cast said jutsu, or utilize said affinity.

After an individual has been to Shinjitsu no Chusen once, there may be cause for them to return, and keepers will selectively teach this technique to visitors. By approaching an access point and performing this technique, a signal is sent to the keepers that they are requesting access. Allowing the keepers to open the door for the visitor should they so choose. The keepers will not open the door if the visitor is not alone, or if they do not want the visitor to come in.

Prerequisite: [Kage Rank], cannot be used in combat.
A highly complex technique, this jutsu was the first technique developed to combat the genma. The user will perform the technique, then make contact with a spirit, a spirit host, or an object containing a spirit, immediately killing the spirit and turning them to energy. Exceptionally strong spirits will reform after some extended period of time.

  • Body: Natsumi’s body is akin to an hourglass with an ample bosom and full hips and thighs while her stomach, arms, and legs are toned from her training. She usually dons a purple kimono when on a mission which is hemmed around her upper thigh. The shoulders of the kimono are designed to be free and open. She uses a black obi fitted with weapons pouches around her waist to secure her outfit along with black sandals and a necklace made up of large yellow rosary beads. When she is not on a mission, Natsumi can be found wearing more comfortable clothes while keeping the overall color theme purple.

  • General: Long ago Natsumi was a bright and bubbly personality which shone through in any social situation. If forced to talk to people, the young woman will not shy away from using her feminine wiles to turn a situation in her favor and let her walk away.

If the spirit has more than 10 strength it can break the chain. This jutsu can only be used on D-Rank spirits.

While unable to move during the firing of the technique, the user is able to control the direction of the beam, allowing them to move in any direction they desire to make sure contact is achieved. If the beam hits a spiritual host who is in a form higher than 0, this will cause a drop of -6 Mastery or if it hits a spirit will cause a drop of -6 Strength for 5 posts.

As long as this jutsu is used the post after the spirit was ejected/defeated, the fuuinjutsu consumes the spirit, trapping them inside until the seal is broken or it is purposefully released.

However if the user has additional help, they can use an additional person to supplement the stamina they do not have as long as the grand total equals 40 Chakra Pool. This takes a total of 10 posts to complete.

Each participant must share their chakra with the unsealer, as they perform the needed hand seals. The user will then pump this vast amount of chakra into the seal of a grand soul host, such as a jinchuuriki. This process takes a total of 200 Chakra Pool from the group to extract the spirit from the host, who will in turn die. If the total sum of stamina is not met, the participants will all die. It only takes one individual in the group to know this jutsu. This takes 10 whole posts to complete.

It should be noted that this jutsu requires intense concentration, often making the user shut their eyes so they can focus on the jutsu solely. Even with high levels of Chakra Control, this jutsu can be mentally taxing as it requires the user to sort through the individual chakra sources in the sensor’s range.

Having used the flare, the user will look out for any flares. Upon noticing one, the user will immediately do a single hand seal, allowing them to determine the affinity, strength, and speed if applicable, and sense where that chakra is going specifically. This means if it’s a projectile, they’ll be able to track and see the projectile in their minds eye. If it’s a fuuinjutsu, they are able to see that a fuuinjutsu is activated, but will not be able to follow the result unless they activate this jutsu again. This jutsu is very effective due to its broad mechanic.

This jutsu is an even further extension of [Broad Sense]. With this jutsu, a sensor sacrifices quality for quantity. They can view to much greater distances compared to a normal sensor, but their ability to differentiate between people starts to become muddled, meaning multiple people in close proximity will appear simply as a large chakra mass, without the users being able to distinguish how many people are there. By sitting down and meditating, they are able to start to sense further and further away. For each post of meditating, they are able to see one third of a mile out, up to a max of posts equal to 1/2 their control (rounded up).

It should be noted that this jutsu requires intense concentration, often making the user shut their eyes so they can focus on this jutsu solely. Even with high levels of Chakra Control, this jutsu can be mentally taxing as it requires the user to sort through individual chakra sources in the sensor's range.

This jutsu is an improved version of [Beyond Senses]. This jutsu is designed for on the move and combat, allowing the user to see, move, fight, etc for 7 posts before needing to be recast. Even with high levels of Chakra Control, this jutsu can be mentally taxing as it requires the user to sort through individual chakra sources in the sensor's range.

A truly unique move in that it can be used alongside other Fuuinjutsu, by channeling into their finger as they draw in the air directly in front of them, the user releases raw chakra the lingers for a small amount of time, allowing it to be used as a seal formula. Alternatively the user can also do hand seals and place their hands forward, causing a seal to burst to life in the air in front of them. This technique consumes chakra equal to the cost of the technique.

By having an empty surface with a seal formula placed on it, the user is able to use the seal as a defensive measure. Holding a single, one-handed hand seal, the user attempts to block the incoming projectile with the surface. Right before contact is actually made, the projectile will be sealed into the seal. While strong, the seal must be the same size or larger than the projectile it is attempting to seal. This seal can protect up to the user’s [Control] in Strength. Once used to seal and then release again, the seal will need to be rewritten. The user can only seal objects up to their ([Control]*2)m^3 in size.

After placing four barrier tags in a square, the user draws a line connecting each of the tags. When kai'd, all the tags are set off simultaneously throwing up a barrier at a strength and speed of the user’s [Control]. This barrier lasts for 4 posts.

Fuuinjutsu is an extremely formulaic style of jutsu, the seal itself almost forming a "source code" of sorts to the actual purpose of the seal. This will reveal the complexity and rank of fuuinjutsu casted or placed with less than or equal [Control] to the user.

The user will draw out the needed seal on to another person's brain and perform the needed hand seals to start. Once the hand seals are done and chakra is flowing into the seal and brain, any memories, conscious or unconscious, experienced during this time will not be recorded by the brain and therefore unrecoverable. Once chakra is no longer being fed to the seal, it will stop preventing conscious and unconscious memories.

After forming the necessary hand seals, the user will have their hand glow with five seals on each of their fingers before they make contact with their target transferring the seals. The user will channel the needed chakra and touch either themselves or an ally. Depending on the [Control] it is casted with, the fuuinjutsu will cover between 25%-90% of the users body. Once struck, the fuuinjutsu will activate and reflect strikes until broken. Ninjutsu will bounce back in the direction they came from and taijutsu strikes will rebound upon the opponent's body. Attacks that break through will not be reflected.

The user will channel the needed chakra before they touch up to 3 allies and grant them a [Mind Communion] seal which forms between their shoulder blades. Those with the seal are able to communicate and share thoughts with each other.

A fuuinjutsu designed to be useful by itself but able to be tied into others, the user channels the needed chakra and applies the fuuinjutsu to one of their Space/Time portals or Space/Time Fuuinjutsu. The carrier of this seal will be able to channel chakra into the seal and activate the Convergence Strike jutsu, imbuing them with the jutsu. Stories 1 through 10 serve as morgues and specimen storage while stories 11 through 30 are dedicated to medical care with operating rooms, storage rooms for supplies, and patient care rooms lining the floors. Stories 31 through 40 are used as torture room while stories 41 through 50 are used as prison cells. Each torture chamber is fitted with a torture rack capable of stretching whoever is tied to it. A rope fitted with a metal casing for a prisoners arms hangs from a pulley and a table littered with knives, saws, and other instruments sits in the corner. The cells themselves are windowless with an inch of water on the ground. Chains hang from the walls attached to the victim's wrist and neck. The chain has enough slack for the prisoners to reach just short of a foot from the door. Each cell door is made of heavy iron with a 6 inch slat on the bottom for food to be slid in through. Anything that occurred within those 2 posts will have never happened, but time will continue as it was. The person who died will come back to life, and be in whatever state they were 2 posts ago. At the very least, this extends the time the person has to receive care, at best, it can allow the person to avoid ever dying in the first place.

After channeling chakra into his thumb and one of his fingers Yozei will also focus on a location within 40 meters of his position. By snapping his fingers, he will trigger an explosion with strength equal to his control that explodes to cover up to a 25x25x25 meter cube or sphere. An instant before the flames detonate a sharp cracking sound and visible chakra gathered at the focal point will give a brief indication of the explosion to come.

After performing the necessary hand seals, Kotaru takes a deep breath and expels a large stream of flames from his mouth. The stream moves at speed up to [Control] and can hit with [Control] strength. It can reach up to 100 meters long, and is thin for up to 5 meters immediately in front of him before expanding up to 70 meters wide. Due to Kotaru’s impeccable chakra control, he can alter the size of the stream at creation and at any time thereafter. The stream can be maintained continuously for up to 7 posts so long as he holds the final seal; during this time, Kotaru can halt the flames and start them back up again at will.

Once extracted, the liquid poison will be suspended in the containment orb. Their chakra then mutates the poison at [Control] speed and rearranges it into an antidote. This antidote is effective on C-rank or lower poisons and induces immunity to the specific poison the patient was ailed with for 7 posts.

This particularly disturbing technique is typically utilized by medical-nin operating covertly. As this chakra makes contact with the user's skin, the skin cells will bond, creating a seamless mask. This new face remains stable for up to three (3) threads before it will begin to rot.

No more than 1 liter (2 pints) of blood can be transferred using this technique without repercussions such as fainting, loss of sensation, anemia, and death. If the user is able to connect the entirety of their palm, the chakra will be released into the opponent's body at [Control] Strength. If cast with 34 [Control] or less, this chakra will slice through thinner body tissues, such as arteries, ligaments, tendons, or veins with ease but cannot slice thicker tissue such as that found around organs, up to 4 inches from the surface in an area roughly the size of the user's hand. If cast with 35 [Control] or more, thicker tissue can be sliced through. The skin remains unblemished by this technique, as it only causes [i]internal[/i]wounds. Once extracted, the poison will be suspended in the containment orb. Their chakra then mutates the poison at [Control] speed and rearranges it into an antidote. This technique must be cast with a [Control] equal to or above the [Control], [Strength], or rank bracket (D=1, C=10, B=20, A=25, S=35, S(40)=40, etc.) of a poison (as appropriate) to be effective. A poison which is destroyed is done so immediately. Antidotes created from this technique slow the effects of a poison after administration by 2 posts and fully rid the subject of the poison after three posts.

Blood vessels, connective tissues, muscles, etc. will all be connected to the organ in question, ensuring that once implanted, it will stay nourished and protected as if it were the body's own.

Rather an alteration on an already existing jutsu than a whole new technique in itself, an iryou-nin is able to use this technique to keep themselves conscious and clear while sedated. They will be able to perform procedures on themselves but suffer -2 [Willpower] because they are not able to completely avoid feeling groggy while under anesthetic. Some pain from the procedure will still go through and be felt, but it will be only a painful annoyance, not detracting from their medical capabilities. The user is able to move while under the influence of this technique, but is unable to travel. Even walking is not achievable without losing concentration and interrupting the jutsu.

[Forcefully Putting Under]
A-rank Iijutsu
After forming the necessary hand seals and focusing chakra on a willing patient, the user is able to heavily sedate them. This sedation technique is used to perform deeply invasive surgeries on patients, preventing them from moving while under and also keeping them deeply asleep. This technique lasts for up to ten posts, and must be reinforced on the eighth post after performing this technique, or else the patient will wake up at the end of the tenth post. If a patient wakes up during the procedure, they will find themselves, depending on their personality, mentally scarred from the intense amount of pain the surgery causes, and their vitals will go insane while they are awake, markedly hard to control. Depending on the surgery and the patient's reaction, the stress could cause death. Note that this jutsu requires steady focus and proper supplementation of chakra to perform. Unwilling patients require greater or equal Control than the user's Control to fight off the sedation.

A patient who receives Yugeton, for instance, would receive not just the [Yugeton] concentration but the [Katon] and [Suiton] concentrations as well.

The time this procedure takes is dependent entirely on what is being implanted, but because the doctor is impeded by being the patient, it generally takes longer than normal.

Much of this knowledge extends into the biology of non-human species as well, though with less precision. This discipline, combined with enough accuracy, can turn even the simplest of attacks into a fatal blow.

In the event a patient has passed, in some cases it is possible to resuscitate the patient. Most major injuries must be first treated, as any untreated injuries would simply cause the patient to perish after resuscitation. Should the injuries be treated and this technique be initiated within 2 posts of the target's death, the user will applies pressure to a series of pressure points and begin CPR, bringing the patient back to life. This technique will inevitably fail if not initiated within the 2 post period.

A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Through the use of needles, the user will target a series of pressure points on a targets back or chest, using it to stop signals from being transfered through their nervous system. This prevents movement, causes full body paralysis from the neck down in their patient, and dulls all pain receptors as well. While the technique has effective medical purposes, it can also be used in combat. The paralysis lasts for 4 posts before fading, at which points the needles must be removed and replaced to perpetuate the effect.

Nyūsen, Natsumi was born to a hard-working pair of parents within Iwagakure no Sato. Her mother was a jounin of the village’s military forces while her father managed and oversaw a steel factory within the industrial sector of the village. Her early life was similar to most kids in Iwa; her parents worked, she went to the academy while receiving some extra training from her mother, and she played. Often throughout her childhood Natsumi would nod off in the living room of her family’s home before being picked up and carried to bed by her father who smelled strongly of whiskey and cigar smoke. The steel factory overseer would softly sing her lullabies before she fell completely asleep.

Her life as a genin was uneventful. She was paired with a jounin as her overseer before diving into missions as quickly as possible. Natsumi was able to easily grind through the mundane and tedious mission schedule of a genin before signing up for her chuunin promotion. The young teen was able to bulldoze her way through the exam and successfully earned her promotion. She stayed as a chuunin for several years before finally reaching a promotion to a special jounin.

Natsumi’s missions became increasingly difficult after her promotion to special jounin. Now she was teaming up with other special jounin and jounin on missions of higher difficulty in a bid to reach the level of her mother. While her head was in the clouds about reaching her mother, her mother had been wounded and crippled on a mission. The woman had been struck by a Raiton jutsu to her spine, cutting off her ability to walk. The injury devastated her household and swallowed it in grief. After mourning the loss of her mother’s legs and career, Natsumi returned to her own duties albeit more quiet than she had been prior to the ordeal. It now fell on her to provide a steady income for her family while her father had now been forced to take care of his disabled wife.

Her father tried his best for several years before one night drinking himself into a stupor and dying. The man had laid down on his back before vomiting in his sleep. The position of his body had caused her father to choke to death on his own vomit. Natsumi awoke to the scene before flying into a fit of hysterical panic, trying her best to resuscitate the man while sending word for paramedics. By the time the paramedics had arrived, it was far too late.

Struck with another tragedy, Natsumi withdrew even more into her self before applying for a promotion to jounin. She needed the raise and increased work load or else there was no way she could care for her ailing mother. Natsumi now works the majority of her time while the rest can be spent sleeping and drinking, a habit she picked up from her father. For Natsumi, a nice whiskey and a cigar reminds her of the times when her father would sing her to sleep which, at the end of the day, makes everything feel like it’s okay for the young woman.

Appearance: Larger than normal dragons at 40mLx40mTx30mW, Niddhog supports himself with four powerful limbs each equipped with claws similar to swords. Two large wings, each double his own length, sprout from his back and allow him to fly freely through the skies with his tail, the same length as he, is used to help balance and steer himself. Dark purple scales, some black in the right lighting, cover him from snout to tail as well.
Personality: Feeling himself old, Niddhog is very much a grumpy soul. He sees others as too young to deal with but for those who do manage to squeeze their way into his storm filled heart, he'll find an exception. Although he looks big and scary, Niddhog is not the strongest or toughest. He takes pride in his speed and strength of his Breath, making strafing runs with it as needed to assist his summoner, Natsumi, when called upon.

Passive (Splashing)Show
Ranton has a splashing nature, which causes it to break into ribbons on impact, and distribute over an area. Ranton splashes on impact, and breaks into X number of ribbons with X strength, where X is equal to 1/2 the strength of the jutsu(rounded up) and distributes over an area of Y meters, where Y is equal to 1/4th the speed of the jutsu (rounded up). A character with this concentration is able to utilize Raiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Raiton affinity. Raiton has a shocking effect.
Passive (Shocking)Show
Raiton has the effect of shocking, which means causes it's effect to be diffuse upon impact. In organic material, this causes nervous stimulation which results in numbness, tingling, loss of sensation, and sometimes paralysis. In inorganic material, this means that the strength of the jutsu diffuses across an area 2x the size of the attack. In a jutsu that creates a lightning ball 2m in diameter, if it struck a wall the size of the attack would cover a 4m area.

Additionally, the strength of the nervous effect on organic material from raiton jutsu is determined by the Strength stat range they fall into.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Suiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Suiton affinity. Suiton has a passive enveloping effect.

Suiton's effect is enveloping, meaning that suiton passively surrounds anything that it makes contact with. Suiton techniques that do not last over periods of times (i.e, exploding techniques) drench their opponents, but long term techniques will envelop anything they come in contact with and maintain a hold on it with the 3/4th strength of the technique, rounded down. This means that if a suiton wave is shot forward with 17 strength, it will envelope and move anything with it that does not have more than 12 strength to resist it. This allows Suiton to fill a very powerful role in eliminating tools from opponent's access and capturing targets.

Ranton:
Ranton [Storm Release] is a unique elemental affinity created by mixing Raiton [Lightning Release] and Suiton [Water Release] into a liquid-like plasma. Ranton has a splashing nature, which causes it to break into ribbons on impact, and distribute over an area. Ranton splashes on impact, and breaks into X number of ribbons with X strength, where X is equal to 1/2 the strength of the jutsu(rounded up) and distributes over an area of Y meters, where Y is equal to 1/4th the speed of the jutsu (rounded up). These ribbons retain the effect of their original jutsu, so a Ranton jutsu used to pierce would create ribbons that stab and pierce anything they strike, while a Ranton jutsu that is wrap would create ribbons that wrap. Like Raiton, Ranton jutsu are electrical, and cause nerve damage on contact base on the ninjutsu requirement for the jutsu, seen below]:

History Niddhog was sired by another Storm Dragon who previously ruled the mountainous region of the Dragon Realm he calls home. He spent decades being protected by his mother until finally he grew and she died of old age. Per her last wish, Niddhog consumed her remains and grew strong from them, enough so to protect the mountains he now ruled. Over the centuries, other dragons attempted to lay claim to his mountains as their nest but were unable to best him. In his victory, he would consume their limbs or, if they died in combat, entire selves to grow larger and stronger.

Niddhog's life continued on as such until he was confronted by a human woman from the realm of Man in his nest. The woman, Natsumi, proclaimed to need his help and to sign a summoning contract with her. Insulted by the offer of being tamed by someone, he rose up in protest against her before being swiftly overpowered in combat. With his respect earned in combat, Niddhog signed the contract with Natsumi.
