[PB] Saving a dragon.

Post by Zao » Mon Feb 25, 2019 8:27 pm

The old dragon couldn't help but look at the young chuunin near him with a look of surprise, but in its current state the injured spirit could barely lift its head and thus could only partially glimpse the figure with the large left eye. A slow trick of blue life essence dripped from the numerous wounds which by themselves would not have been to hard to endure but with so many of them it was only a matter of time for his life to fade. He'd been left here to suffer a miserable death and to wallow in the regret of having attempted to challenge the current clan leader for his position, Ryu had truly been much to impatient...perhaps if he’d have waited another century or two and continued to perfect his divine archery technique to the pinnacle. Maybe then he wouldn’t have suffered such a loss at the Leader’s hands on this day only a short while ago before being tossed down into this small valley after losing the ability to fly.

Hey kid...you’ve really fallen into a problematic situation…” Just to speak the words to Asuma took a bit of time and energy from the weak azure scaled dragon that laid completely stretched out upon the ground now. The reason he’d said this was because if anyone were to see the human here in the dragon realm he’d be killed as the proud dragon race would never lower themselves to serve under the charge of a human let alone anyone else for that matter. It only complicated things that he was now at Hiryuu’s side it would appear that he was even trying to aide the dragon which would just push the desire to kill the child even more in the eyes of the other dragons who had disowned the dying dragon. But things were completely negative because at this point in time the white robed scholar was still seated in the lotus position allowed for his eyes to snap open.

There he is, but he’s so far away. This is definitely not a realm that I’ve managed to visit in my traveling...who would have thought that something like this could have happened. I should go…' Quietly the man stood up and brought his hands together into a blur of hand seals as he targeted the location of the space-time bracelet that his young student was still wearing. Without this it would have been nearly impossible to accurately locate just where the chuunin had been tossed off to, even spending years worth of searching might have still been a fruitless venture on the travelers part. With a slow exhale the man chopped forward with a knife hand now using the left hand to perform the action, a tear formed in the space in front of him and without a second's hesitation now the powerful jounin stepped through. From directly behind the young Suna-nin a tear would open up in space as from it a slender hand first appeared followed by the flowing white robes of the genma host’s master.

After completely stepping through the hole in space corrected itself quickly closing as the jounin felt the wetness in the humid air almost attack his skin as it was even hotter than the Sand village that he’d just come from. A jungle style environment that housed a number of large and dangerous animals and insects that were all prey in the end for the supreme spirit race here in this realm, the Dragons. The slender fingers of Zao’s right hand would land upon the boy’s right shoulder, perhaps without even him noticing the figure appearing through the spacial tear a moment earlier. He was ecstatic to find that his young student was unharmed from being tossed through space but his face couldn’t help but change quickly at the sight of the injured dragon. ‘A dragon? He’s badly injured, as well. Is the foe that caused him to end up in such a sorry state still nearby.’ “We should get going, Asuma-kun.

He spoke to the chuunin now, but his bright blue eyes had yet to leave the site of the dragon before him, a bit hesitate to leave the dragon but he honestly feared being assaulted by whom ever had managed to injury Hiryuu as well. If he’d been here exploring by himself it would have been a different story but with the weaker shinobi in tow, things were much different and he wouldn’t allow for an incident like the one in the past to reoccur here. “Shinobi, help...me…” The dragon had been able to see through its slightly blurred vision now that the strange white haired human had been able to enter the realm on his own accord, most likely to retrieve the young human. Someone this powerful could possible save his life but how would he be able to convince them to risk their own life for his? “...I...I’m willing...to serve you...please save me…

This spirit…’ Zao couldn’t help but feel a bit tempted by the sincere offer from the dragon, though they were prideful they were also rather powerful with each dragon normally having their own unique abilities, but one thing that was as strong as their pride was their word. If one gave their word to another it was a binding thing which they would rather die than break. “There’s no guarantee that I can save you…” He looked from the dragon and now he stepped forward shoulder to shoulder with his young student, glancing over to him now as well. Was it worth it to try and save the dragon spirit?

[PB] Saving a dragon.

Post by Texas » Tue Feb 26, 2019 9:35 am

Asuma snapped out of the funk he was in once the dragon spoke. After rifting to a place very foreign to him, he couldn't help but be in complete shock. Once the words came out of the dragons mouth, he gave a bit of a snicker at the blue giant. "Coming from a creature bleeding to death." He kept an eye on the dragon's wounds. It was unfortunate that Asuma didn't know any form of healing. At this moment in time he was useless, especially since he had no idea where he was or what he could even do to help. WHERE WAS HE!

Before Asuma could even move, he felt a hand on his shoulder. Due to Asuma's fixation on the dragon, he had no clue Zao was behind him. Within a second of feeling the hand touch his shoulder, Asuma swung his right hand to push the hand and kicked his left foot to gain distance. With this quick motion he quickly turned his body around, while at the same time whipping one of his Kunai out and aiming it at the figure. "Back O-- Oh Sensei.... I didn't realize it was you." Asuma quickly put the kunai back in his pouch. This resulted in Asuma putting one hand on his head as if to itch it and gave a bit of an awkward look. He listened to Zao as he told Asuma it was time to go.

Asuma turned to the dragon then back at Zao. Before he could even speak, the dragon spoke up. He must of realized that Zao knew much of the spirit world. With great knowledge he must of gathered that Zao didn't want to break the balance of the natural selection of this realm. Asuma didn't know what to say, he simply was at a loss for words. He wanted to help, but didn't want to say anything that would be a false promise. Instead he gave Zao puppy dog eyes in attempt to let him know that he wanted to help the dragon. Once Zao gave a confirmation that he would help the dragon, Asuma turned to face the beast. It was within a few seconds, that Zao stood next to the boy. Asuma asked the very simple question. "Sensei, what should I do to help."

[PB] Saving a dragon.

Post by Zao » Fri Mar 01, 2019 6:05 pm

Zao had stepped back slightly at the knee jerk reaction from his young student, though he had a look of approval as such instincts would help to keep him alive in the world as a shinobi. With a wave of a dismissing hand towards Asuma he seemed to be telling him to not worry about it now as he focused on the words of the dragon for a moment. ‘I wonder how he managed to end up under such dire straits as this….?’ The scholar couldn’t help but question the next course of actions as his gut told him it would for the best to not become entangled with whatever matters were going on here in the Dragon realm, especially not with his young friend in tow. At first he only shook his head slightly back and forth as if non verbally telling the dragon that he wouldn’t be able to help as his bright blue eyes looked over to the young man next to him.

What the…’ The that his student was giving him was something rather unexpected and even caused for him to blink a few time to make sure that he wasn’t seeing things...was the genma host really giving him puppy dog eyes? ‘It would seem Asuma would like to save this spirit.’ Both almost glowing eyes were concealed for a moment as each eyelid quietly fell shut, both arms coming up across his chest as he tilted his head down just slightly in thought. Unconsciously the man shook his head side-to-side once more, if only slightly as he mulled over the thought of attempting to heal the dragon spirit.

He was calculating just how much chakra it would take to try and heal such a massive beast, plus it had taken a bit to travel through space in order to find his student, and he would at the end need to do the same to return them both to their home realm. But in the end a long sigh could be heard as it slipped between the pair of thin lips before both eye snapped open revealing a rather sharp look to them which was almost the complete opposite feeling one normally get when they were able to see the bright blue color eyes. “Because my young friend wishes it, we’ll try to help you out little dragon.” His gaze then shifted from the wounded dragon and onto his student giving him a now before also speaking to his question now. “It’ll be very draining on me to use the method I’m planning to use in order to heal the dragon, what I need from you is a little bit of assistance.” The young dragon managed a half smile, laying its head down, having no choice but to put his faith in this young looking white haired shinobi...it would seem that his only chance of survival at this point would be in Zao's hands.

A slight smile had already started to form on his lips now, this was another good opportunity to help Asuma with his control and usage of the spirit’s power. His plan was to first utilize his abilities in Space-Time ninjutsu to reverse time and allow for the dragon’s body to recover to a state in the recent pasts before allow of the wounds were inflicted. Hopefully that would be enough to stave of any immediate danger and then he would then use medical ninjutsu but this would also be a good time for Asuma to attempt to use his own special chakra in order to try and heal the beast as well. “I’m going to first reverse time on the dragon’s body but I’m afraid that will only be enough to stave of immediate danger. Afterwards I’ll utilize some medical ninjutsu, this is where I need your help. Try and use the special chakra from your genma to also heal the dragon’s injuries.

Zao couldn’t help but sigh again at the thought of what he was about to do, hopefully they wouldn’t run into any major powers here within the realm of dragons as he was about to use a good portion of his chakra to try and save this spirit. Both of his hands came together now and a thin line of chakra seemed to outline the mature look man’s thin framed body. Then the hands would go into a rather long series of hand seals, but the speed at which they were moving would cause one to not even be able to clearly make out what hand seals or even how many they were. Meanwhile, the dragon watched on now, he’d hoped that anyone able to break space-time would also have the power to help him...even if surviving meant that he’d need to become a retainer of this human it would only be for a short period of time in the spirits eyes. Though he was only a young spirit when compared to many others in the clan, he knew that humans had much, much shorter lifetimes than any spirits, as their had been a few old monsters lurking around in the shadows of his own clan that had been alive for over ten thousand years at this point.

Tens of hands seals had been created before the two hands came to together with the snake hand seal and the formerly peaceful chakra around his body became turbulent like it was fire instead of chakra, a powerful pressure seeped from the large amount of chakra being drawn forth from Zao now. A strange flux in the space and time around the large dragon’s body began to occur now as the blood which had previously been leaking from its body came to a stop. It was almost as though time had become frozen in place. ‘Reverse!’ Both of the scholar’s hands clenched even more tightly together now as time began to slowly flow in reverse around the dragon and its body, the leaking blue life essence started to be drawn back into the body...

Asuma paid very close attention to Zao's body language, what words he was speaking, and the tone of which he was speaking as well. He wanted to make sure that all of Zao's intentions were sincere. He listened to Zao's words. Once he saw his smile and mention of Asuma using his chakra, he put his hand over his stomach. He closed his eyes for only a few seconds. Without realizing it, Asuma's conscious was within a different plain and within this plain was Janesisu right in front of him.

"Darling, this place is dangerous.... are you sure you want to help this dragon? If he was injured this bad, it is most likely he was left for dead. No other animal could have done this but his own kind. Are you sure you can handle whatever threat comes?" Janesisu made some good points as she looked down on Asuma with a warming yet alarming smile. Asuma looked at Janesisu and smiled back at her. "It might be dangerous, but imagine what we can learn here. The more we learn and strengthen our connection, the stronger we get. This would help me achieve my dream!" With a large smile and energy flowing through him, Asuma jumped in excitement. Janesisu gave a small chuckle and before Asuma knew it he was concious next to Zao again.

Asuma nodded his head towards his sensei. He watched as Zao began to weave his hand signs and start working on the dragon. Asuma didn't fully know what he was to be doing, but he did everything he could think of. The boy focused on his chakra and began to mold it with Janesisu's. It didn't take long before Asuma changed to his first form. He used this energy to help him channel the genma's chakra through his body. He walked up and followed all of Zao's movements. He began sending his chakra to wrap around Zao's jutsu. By doing this, he was able to give a new life to the jutsus and potentially aid in excelerating the entire healing process.

[PB] Saving a dragon.

Post by Zao » Tue Mar 12, 2019 10:23 pm

'How interesting...' Zao glanced to the side, the injuries and lost stamina which had faded with the spirits liquid life essence was returning, even the look of death within the creature’s eyes was slowly disappearing now. But that was not what was interesting to the white haired scholar, as this was all within his expectations as he had used this special space time technique a few time, having created it to help save a fellow Suna-nin in order to stop the same thing from happening to someone else under his charge as what had happened to the three chuunin. It was a nagging memory for the man and his journey to the spirit realms Nori and himself had managed to survive through over the course of five years of wandering and fighting. What intrigued the experienced man was how the genma chakra managed to almost effortlessly merge with his own special spacetime chakra.

Normally when two shinobi were attempting to utilize combination jutsu they would require a lot of effort practicing it beforehand in order to ensure that each was releasing the same amount of chakra and had perfect control to help in fusing them into one. But the special chakra from the boy’s spirit seems to be able to naturally do something that was such an extreme for other to do, how could Zao not be intrigued and impressed. This influx of unique chakra allowed for the man to actually reverse time further back than he normally would have been able to do, which in turn helped to heal the creature more. After several moments passed the flow of time seemed to slow and once more it began to flow normally and the distorted fissures of space and time faded as though they had never existed to begin with.

Droplets of sweat could be seen glistening on Zao’s forehead, a few falling down onto the smooth skin of the lightly tanned face as he released his hands for a moment now. While it may have seemed to have been an effortless action on the young man’s part it had still taken a decent chunk of the man’s large stamina pool to pull it off. Exhaling lightly the man closed his eyes and allowed a few brief moments to catch his breath before once more opening the shining bright blue eyes to look over the spirit. While he was no longer in any immediate danger there were still a handful of wounds that needed the attention of the scholar and his student. “Let’s move on to treat the wounds along the neck of the dragon now.” He glance over to Asuma now, giving him a smile and motioning with the slender left hand to follow him now as he pushed forward and leaped up onto the scaled body of the serpent.

As this was happening, the dragon felt himself becoming confused and lost in thought as he couldn’t understand what was happening to his body, it was as though time was flowing in reverse and the injuries were healing in the process. How was something like this even possible? Who was this white haired shinobi who’d reluctantly offered to help him. It would seem that he’d underestimated this shinobi but part of him was glad that this shinobi had agreed to his demands, at least it appeared he didn’t make his promise to a weak ninja who’d disgrace his name as a dragon. Before he knew it the two shinobi had moved onto his body and the right and left arms of the Suna-nin were glowing with a sage green hue of chakra and the man was already hard at work healing a few other wounds.

Far in the distance, a camouflaged dragon watched the scene unfold without intervening, simply watching from a few kilometers away. This was a guard of the clan leader which Ryu had attempted to fight before. Invisible to the naked eye, the flying creature had been ordered to wait there until the dragon died a slow and painful death after challenging the leader. Never would he have thought that such a stroke of luck for the younger dragon would have resulted in his life being saved, but this truly wouldn’t do. But to be honest the scout dragon had no thoughts of attacking the shinobi after seeing him appear through a tear in space that it seemed he’d actually created. Silently the dragon soared away to report what he’d seen to the clan leader...'I wonder what our leader will do...he's the vengeful type and definitely won't let this go...'

[PB] Saving a dragon.

Post by Texas » Fri Mar 15, 2019 3:51 pm

Asuma watched as the two shinobi were aiding the dragon. He noticed that it was mostly Zao's expertise, but Asuma's borrowed chakra was adding a lot to the speed and longevity of the jutsu. Doing this stemmed ideas in Asuma's mind on how he could use his genma's chakra in the future. Could he recreate skin cells? Bones? Blood? Nerves? These are all questions he would need to answer on his own over time, but thanks to this experience, it will be on his radar forever.

Like Zao, Asuma was starting to sweat a little bit. Although he wasn't going low on chakra just quite yet, he was using a lot more focus and precision than he was used too. While they were healing, Asuma felt a presence behind them which force him to cock his neck back in a quick manner. However, while he looked back he didn't notice anyone or anything. He shrugged it off and looked forward to help aid the dragon and Zao.

He listened to Zao as he suggested to go for the neck. He focused his chakra more and continued to expel it out in attempt to help Zao. Asuma turned to Zao and tried to speak softly. "Aren't you worried that whoever did this to this dragon will come back and finish the job? What would we do if our chakra is fully depleted after restoring the dragon to health??" Asuma was sure to speak soft enough in attempts to make sure the dragon didn't hear. This was a legitimate concern. Once the dragon would be up and healthy, both of the shinobi could potentially be tapped out. If that was the case, whatever caused the dragon to the brink of death would comeback to make sure it was dead.... how would the two shinobi help after that?

[PB] Saving a dragon.

Post by Zao » Sat Mar 16, 2019 3:25 pm

As the pair of shinobi had managed their way up onto the long neck of the dragonic spirit now, he couldn't help but nod his head in approval as to how powerful the genma's unique chakra was in that it was able to enhance his own healing palm technique in not only the strength of the technique but he speed at which it was able to heal as well. While they worked on the dragon's major wounds which hadn't been able to fully recover after the use of the mystical space-time reversal technique from earlier the worried words from his young student drifted in his directions. At first he didn't shift his gaze over to the chuunin, only giving a visual nod of his slender face up and down that he not only heard the concern but also understood what he meant. Of course the experienced traveler wouldn’t but himself into to vulnerable of a state while helping out this spirit, even now he was carefully monitoring the amount of chakra he was using as well as how much was left within his massive reservoir of chakra.

This was because utilizing medical techniques required precision control over one’s chakra in order to achieve the highests results, due to the need to guide the chakra into the most critically injured parts of the wound and prioritize them in the healing process. It didn’t help that the average wounds on the dragon spirit were also large in comparison to those of someone human size. Thankfully he had Asuma there to lend his special chakra in order to help off set this problem to an extent. A few more moments would pass before the bright green chakra which was being expelled fro the man’s slender hand would come to an end and the large gaping wound on the creature’s neck was almost completely healed before the scholarly looking figure would turn to his fellow Suna shinobi.

A very real worry, Asuma-kun. We’ve managed to stabilize and heal most of the formerly lethal wounds which had been inflicted upon him, but it would probably take even more chakra that I have available to heal them all in a short period of time.” While it was a true worry that he didn’t wish to be caught off guard in a weakened state, the man had a few other strengths than just his ability to use ninjutsu, two of those would be found on his slender, lightly tanned wrist that were concealed by the wide sleeves of the snow white robe. Toge and Hana both had grown up quite a bit in strength and even mentally, Hana more so than Toge for the latter. Each were incredibly strong spirits that would be able to help the man contend with any threat that might come but that didn’t mean that he was going to put himself or his student in any unnecessary danger.

Stepping down from the slender neck of the dragon, his feet landing with a pair of soft thud sounds upon the thick grass that was nearly shin height he turned his bright blue eyes back onto the wounded dragon who was beginning to move his long, slender body slightly. The stronger pain from his former injuries had more or less faded but the body of the spirit was still experiencing a good deal of pain from the remaining injuries. At least it understood after its large head lifted from the ground to gaze back at its body, that it was no longer in any danger of dying from the wounds it still had. “Impressive shinobi…” A few muttered words could just barely be heard from the maw of the spirit as its snow white whiskers began to move up and down as thought they were a living part of the creature’s body.

Heh...it’s the best that I can do for now. But we need to move somewhere else…” As he spoke the man shifted his gaze into the surrounding area, seeing no one at the moment but he felt that if they did stay here much longer than it could only bring them more problems. The old dragon knew exactly what the meaning behind the shinobi’s words were and closed his eyes for a moment and a faint cloud like mist began to form around the spirit’s body and as it encompassed into a cloud beneath him the cloud itself floated into the air carrying the dragon. “I know a place that we can rest for a bit.” Just like that with the dragon leading the way the trio began to rapidly retreat from the small valley and off towards the south were after a handful of kilometers they would come upon a set of cave systems. Choosing one at random the group would enter into one in order to conceal themselves for the time being allowing for both Zao to recover some of his spent chakra and for the dragon to do the same.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

The scout dragon flew up into a tall mountain peak where it entered a large cathedral style building that resembled a castle now, its position at the peak of the mountain allowed for it to overlook tens of kilometers in every direction as though it was a god looking down over their lair. He landed gracefully flying in through a large archway before coming to a low bow on all fours now towards the distance, a set of almost glowing crimson eyes that held a baleful look to them fluttered open. “So the little child has already died? I would have thought that he’d managed to struggle on for at least another half a day.” The snide remark left the tooth filled mouth of a giant raven scaled dragon whom was at least double the size of Ryu, the muscles upon its body causing for the scales to bulge outwards. “I’m sorry to report that the youth is still alive.” Their had been a moment of silent hesitation from the scout before he found the courage to speak but the response caused the bloody colored eyes of the leader to narrow.

Explain yourself, Jiro.” Still keeping his head bowed low to the ground the smaller dragon began to speak. “Yes, your majesty…” The servant began to recount what he’d seen during his time observing the dying dragon, detailing the arriving of not one but two humans, one who seemed to be able to tear through and control space to arrive in their own realm. Then how he proceeded to help heal the dying dragon to an extent where the wounds were no longer mortal ones. This was where his story ended as it was at that time which he’d hastened back here to deliver this important bit of news to the castle lord. “I see...call for Ryuuza..” Without a second word the tiny dragon flew away with all the speed his small body could muster disappearing from sight.

It only took a short while before a streak of dark grey tore through the skies and a loud crashing sound would be heard as the blur impacted the balcony like area outside the massive archway. As the blur came into focus it was a humanoid like dragon with a set of powerful legs and arm which stood upright, a chain wrapped around either forearm that were each connected to a sheathed weapon on either hip. The single set of powerful wings flapped once more blowing away the debris on the ground from his landing before he shifted his horned head towards the interior of the castle. He was a deathsworn...a servant who was given to the King by another powerful dragon that would even go as far as to die for the one he was ordered to serve. “Master, for what task do you need my strength?” A scratchy voice that was somewhat deep as well, bellowed out respectfully as he first bowed and then moved to enter the intricately designed structure.

Ryuuza, the little dragon that I left for dead earlier this morning seemed to have run into a stroke of luck. A human saved…” Their was a slight pause in his words as even he was still reflecting on this human who’d entered their realm. This was enough to cause the deathsworn to raise his boney eyebrows as he’d never personally met a human himself. “...my order are simple…find little Yuu and kill him for me. If the human stands in your way then kill him, as well. Let him be a warning for other human that no one intrudes into our sacred realm.” Bringing one arm across his bow the grey skinned dragon bowed at the waist and within another words turned to leave, pushing forward with incredible speed that the dragon king could hardly follow. “Let’s see if you can survive another day….

[PB] Saving a dragon.

Post by Texas » Tue Mar 26, 2019 10:27 am

Asuma made sure that he was following all of Zao's leads. He wanted to be exactly where he was suppose to be. Asuma wanted to make the dragon's wounds number one priority with no distractions. It took a while to heal up all of the major wounds. During the course of it, Asuma didn't know exactly what he was doing. He found himself expelling the Genma's Chakra, but simply mirrored Zao's movements to extend his power. When they finished healing, Asuma released his Form 1 and changed completely back to his normal look.

There was a large shock factor for Asuma when the dragon took them in what seemed like a cloud and traveled to a new location. Something kept bothering Asuma during their travel and kept looking behind him. He didn't feel anything at the moment, however while they were healing the dragon its almost like he felt something watching them. He shrugged it off when they got to the cave to rest. Asuma spoke quietly as to not make much noise. He leaned over to Zao to bounce some ideas off of him. "Sensei, shouldn't we find out what caused those injuries and learn its abilities. We might have an advantage if we know the other creatures strengths/weaknesses." Asuma said these words assuming that they were going to be fighting. Clearly whatever did this to the dragon was going to be looking to finish the job. However, what strength did this dragon have?

[PB] Saving a dragon.

Post by Zao » Sun May 05, 2019 9:55 pm

The two different groups set apart from one another on opposite sides of the dim cave as they attempted to utilize the peaceful time for the moment in order to recover chakra and rest. Zao had sat down in the lotus position and leaned back against the cool stone wall, having only just closed his bright eyes before the young shinobi leaned in to speak to him. A gentle smile had been the only immediate response from the white-haired man to the question. As a spirit practitioner and scholar, he knew a bit about the legendary type of spirit and he'd already developed an idea of what events led up to the dragon's miserable situation, yet Asuma was very knew to the mysterious world of spirits.

"My student, I have a question to ask of you. When you decide to help someone, do you only half-heartedly do so? " The point of the question to cause his companion to stop and think. If one decided that someone or something was worth helping, then one should always do so with their full strength. It was one of the ideals that the scholar had lived his life by, never wanting to have regrets about something he'd done in his life. After receiving the answer to the question that he'd posed to the chuunin his bright eyes would open briefly. In taking action to help the dragon spirit he'd already known that there would be a high possibility of causing trouble for them in the near future.

Glancing at the recovering spirit he spoke with the gentle smile still hanging upon his thin lips to the kids before him, "Perhaps it would be best if you asked Ryu yourself." This would be a good experience for the young Suna nin to interact with a spirit other than the one sealed within him and learn a bit about the dragon culture at the same time. Having spoken his two cents to the host he once more learned gently back into the cold face wall and close both eyes to focus solely on recovering what chakra he could.

With his understanding of the hierarchy of the dragon realm, their interference could only result in one response. The only question would be how long it would take for that response to follow their tracks and how strong the new threat would be. He mentally communicated with his two spirit plants that were wound around either forearm, giving them the simple order to remain alert while he recovered. Even to be weary of the dragon he'd help save, though in most caused a dragon's word was worth even his life one could never be too careful. After all it was not just his own life on the line here but the genma host who had accidentally been transported here too.

The white-haired man sighed, "Seem like we don't have the time I had hoped for..." His bright blue eyes shifted from the darkness within the cave they had chosen to help heal the wounded dragon, it had only been a short time and he had been able to recover a bit of his chakra but there was something in the air...the sound of strong, beating wings that belonged to another dragon. The gaze shifted to the still recovering dragon as he spoke aloud to the injured dragon. "You have two choices my new friend. The first for us to stay and fight but with you but in your state the likely hood of me being able to protect you while protecting my young companion aren't great. Or you could flee with me, I know that you dragons have a strong pride, so this won't be an easy choice..." His conversation with Ryuu was cut off as the sound of a strong impact and a rush of dirt and dust flooded into the small cave opening as the pursuer of the injured dragon spirit had already found them.

"The smell of weakness and uselessness.... I've found your pathetic self. Who would have thought that you would have survived a full-strength blow from our father. So let me just finish you off quickly as I have other thing to do besides deal with insects like yourself..." A gruff, ill sounding voice boomed into the cave, echoing slightly within as the startled dragon within the cave looked out into the debris to see the bulky form of his older brother standing there with two one handed scythes. "Human...." He paused, glancing back and forth as if pondering whether he'd prefer to die or serve a human...of the dragon pride was a funny thing. As he attempted to contemplate it in his mind a powerful x-style slash smashed open the cave front turning the small opening into a large opening revealing the muscular dragon that stood on two legs with a somewhat humanoid figure. "Hurry! Take me with you before he kills us!!!"

"Hah..." A faint laugh slipped from Zao's lips as he appeared at the dragon's side, his left-hand touching Ryu and the other touching his younger companion, the genma host who had accidently fallen into this realm from Zao's workshop. "Perhaps another day..." A few mocking words echoed through dust as an enraged roar blew away the dust revealing the trio warping away from the realm. Just in time as the powerful giant scythe cut through the afterimage left in their wake hitting nothing but air. A series of curses range out in the draconic tongue as elsewhere inside the personal of the Suna Bannin the trio appeared falling through a rip in the fabric of spacetime...but the trio didn't fall as they entered and instead floated as though it was something nature. "Recover here young dragon, my friend needs to be returned home and then I'll come back for a chat."

With a wave of his hand, he slashed at the air causing a portal in space to tear open through which one could see back into the man's basement lab. "We should get back before anyone realizes the little adventure that we went on." With a half-smile the Suna bannin and genma host were warped through space-time back to where the adventure all began. Hopefully he wouldn't get too much of a talking to about this and somehow, he had acquired another spirit companion. Zao could only shake his head as he disappeared from his personal realm leaving the injured dragon to recover in the peace and quiet for the time being.
