Physical Features:
  • Face/head: Yasu has long hair that, while originally a very light blonde, has been bleached white by her extended time training outdoors over the last year or so. It’s grown long, often kept in a loose braid with layers breaking out to frame her face. A small section of her hair she often pulls into a wrap with a thin piece of leather and a couple of blue beads. Her eyes are a chocolate brown, and often expressive.
  • Body: Having recovered from anorexia and malnutrition, Yasu has begun to physically fill out well for her age. She still maintains a fairly lean, but healthy, muscled build to facilitate her life as a shinobi.
  • Notable Features: Yasu has a pawprint tattoo on her neck.
Clothing/Accessories: Yasu wears a pair of brown pants that are well fitted to her body, and a pair of brown boots that come up to her knees. She also wears a sleeveless white shirt with a brown jacket over it and a hood lined with white cotton to keep out the cold.
Personality:
  • General: Yasu is a generally happy girl. Nearly completely oblivious to the stresses of her village and not so past hurt, she strives to be the best at what she can do, and still gets wrapped up in the simplest joys of life. She’s often seen with a smile on her face and even a dance in her step.
  • Hopes/Dreams: Having abandoned dreams of professional dance, Yasu hopes to be the strongest shinobi in her village one day.
  • Fears: Yasu fears debilitating injury above all, the sort of thing that might stop her dreams in their tracks.
  • Combat Mentality: Yasu loves to play and it shows in her fighting mentality. It isn’t uncommon for the girl to get too wrapped up in ‘having fun’ to actually end a fight when she’s supposed to. At least in training.

Jinchuuriki:
Kenshin Yasu is now the host of Konegu no Okigenma, aka ‘The Phantom Beast of Hell’. As a result she has three red spikes that jut out from her elbows, and her chakra has turned a blood red. The Okigenma has the ability to freely control chakra in limitless ways, and bestows this power to the host in the form of an aura. The Okigenma has Four Forms which defines the abilities of the cloak. The Okigenma is compatible with Yasu as she holds the Suiton affinity, and further details of his abilities and capabilities that are bestowed upon its host may be found at the bottom of this character sheet.

Suiton:
Suiton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Suiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Suiton affinity. Suiton has a passive enveloping effect.
Passive (Enveloping)Show
Suiton's effect is enveloping, meaning that suiton passively surrounds anything that it makes contact with. Suiton techniques that do not last over periods of times (i.e, exploding techniques) drench their opponents, but long term techniques will envelop anything they come in contact with and maintain a hold on it with the 3/4th strength of the technique, rounded down. This means that if a suiton wave is shot forward with 17 strength, it will envelope and move anything with it that does not have more than 12 strength to resist it. This allows Suiton to fill a very powerful role in eliminating tools from opponent's access and capturing targets.
Taijutsu
Close Quarters Combat:
The fundamental skill of [Close Quarters Combat] indicates the user's proficiency to efficiently utilize martial arts and advanced combat moves involving the body, for example but not limited to, advanced kicks, grapples, advanced punches, etc.
Acrobatics:
The fundamental skill of [Acrobatics] includes the user’s ability to contort their body into unfamiliar positions in order to avoid attacks, as well as the user’s ability to fall safely and perform Ukemi and other feats of gymnastics. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.
Corded Weapons:
The fundamental skill of [Corded Weapons] indicates the user’s proficiency with long rope-like weapons such as chains and wire. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.
Sword Weapons:
The fundamental skill of [Sword Weapons] indicates the user’s proficiency with swords and sword-like weapons such as knives, daggers, sword-breakers and the like. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.
Projectile Weapons:

Style Description:
The style Itachi no Eikyō, roughly translated as “Influence of the Weasel”, is meant as an acrobatic hit and run style of taijutsu. The user is in a constant state of motion, or ready for motion, evading attacks to deliver blows of their own, making the style ideal for fighting larger opponents.

The user has trained themselves to be hard to catch, and can quickly duck or roll under blows, flip over objects or jump between objects and limbs in an effort to keep moving and keep from getting grabbed by their opponent.

The user has trained themselves to be able to use their off hand with as much ease as their dominant hand, allowing for a better proficiency with dual weapons and performing intricate tasks with either hand.

Prerequisite: Itachi no Eikyō • Ambidexterity & Corded Weapons Concentration
Having learned how to use two whips independently of one another, the user strikes out with one to wrap around one target, and is able to near simultaneously strike out with the second to strike or wrap around a second target.

Itachi no Eikyō • Bladed Whirlwind
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Itachi no Eikyō • Ambidexterity & Sword Weapons Concentration
In this maneuver the user is wielding two different blades at the same time, moving first into a near vertical spin with the blades held with the hilts either close to the chest or completely outstretched to hit any target in rage, and follows up from the landing with a dual strike from the same direction.

Style Description:
This style of combat is favored by shinobi preferring to use projectiles, often serving as a staple for ranged taijutsu users. Focusing on the synergy between their hands and senses, they strive to make their lethal skills reach as far as possible with absolute precision.

After much training and study, the practitioner has learned how to read an opponent's movements and adjust their aim accordingly to compensate without penalty. The practitioner knows their own reliance on ammunition can be exploited by the enemy and prepare themselves to acclimate to less than favorable circumstances. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to effectively launch any item, so long as it possesses at least the mass of a standard kunai, as if it were meant to be a projectile weapon without sacrificing accuracy. Attacks using improvised weaponry suffer a decrease in Strength, all such attacks being treated as having -3 Strength.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Preparing a projectile, the practitioner launches the weapon with a slight tailspin, causing the flight path of the weapon to warp as it travels. The practitioner uses this slight change in the projectile's trajectory to hit a variety of targets that could not be targeted by normal means. This can be used to hit a target that is hiding behind another person or object, particularly useful against opponents behind human shields.

The phrase Nise No Ai means simply 'false love'. Genjutsu in this style are of varying kinds, but all of them center on that emotion of love. These jutsu create these feelings, or exploit them, or prey on them.

After forming the appropriate hand seals, the user triggers the genjutsu by uttering the word, as a question, "Remember?" The target will then see a mirage of the person they care most for walking towards them. The person they see depends upon the target and their own mind, it could be a lover, a family member, or simply someone they trust. This illusion lasts for four posts.

Prerequisite: Sound Initiation Concentration
After forming the appropriate hand seals, the user triggers the genjutsu by the simple question spoken by the user, "And if they died?" The target will then see a mirage of the person they care for most attempting to crawl towards them, bloody and dying. The person they see depends upon the target and their own mind, it could be a lover, a family member, or simply someone they trust. This illusion lasts for four posts.

Prerequisite: Sound Initiation Concentration
After forming the appropriate hand seals, the user triggers the genjutsu by the simple question spoken by the user, "Don't you see?", causing the target to see someone they care for, someone they either haven't admitted their feelings to or have a crush on or they think do not love them, as part of a scene ahead of them. It is a mirage only, there is no sensation save for what they see. This illusion lasts for four posts.

Prerequisite: Sound Initiation Concentration
After forming the appropriate hand seals, the user triggers the genjutsu by the simple question spoken by the user, "Don't you hear?" The target will hear the voices of their family and those they care about most. Those voices will yell and disparage them, tearing them down by accusing the target of weakness, failure and similar. This illusion lasts for four posts.

[Nise No Ai • Cries of Love]
D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
Prerequisite: Sound Initiation Concentration
After forming the appropriate hand seals, the user triggers the genjutsu by hooting like an owl the user is able to trigger an illusion in which the target hears the person they care about most screaming in pain some distance away, in a direction opposite of the user. This illusion lasts for four posts.

Prerequisite: Touch Initiation Concentration
After forming the appropriate hand seals, the user triggers the genjutsu by kissing the target. This triggers an infatuation with the user that can last for up to five posts, causing them to do anything they might do for someone they are in love with.

D-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user will spray water created from the inside of their chest through their mouth. Once the water is expelled, it will form an umbrella shape that is concave to the user and about two meters in diameter. This defense is somewhat solid and can be formed in any direction the user can spit, up to 10 meters away. The defense is shot at [Control] Speed and has [Control] Strength and unless completely destroyed it lasts for three posts before falling lifelessly to the ground.

Style Description:
Okijutsu is a rather simple term referring to all techniques related to the use of the abilities of the Okigenma, aka Hell Genma or Aura Genma.

D-Ranked Okijutsu
Channeling the power of the Hell Genma, the user is able to expand the aura around their hand into a shape still resembling a hand but five feet by five feet in size and can block projectiles or weapons. The strength of this aura is equal to the user’s strength stat.

Okijutsu • Hardened
D-Ranked Okijutsu
Channeling the power of the Hell Genma, the user is able to semi-harden their aura as a temporary armor. This aura has a strength equal to the user’s strength stat and lasts for up to five posts.

Okijutsu • Clawed
D-Ranked Okijutsu
Channeling the power of the Hell Genma, the user is able to shape their aura over their fingers into sharpened claws. These claws function as natural weapons would, having a strength equal to the user’s strength stat.

Okijutsu • Hold Still
D-Ranked Okijutsu
Channeling the power of the Hell Genma, the user is able to shape the aura coating their arms to extend outwards up to two meters to try and grab onto the opponent at the shoulders. These hands grip at a strength equal to the user’s strength stat and last for up to five posts unless broken sooner.

Okijutsu • Speed Burst
D-Ranked Okijutsu
Channeling the power of the Hell Genma, the user is able to use the aura surrounding them to burst forward for a distance up to 10 meters in a single direction, moving at a temporary +3 to their usual speed, and a -3 to their strength.

Kenshin Yasu was born to a rather normal family. Her parents ran a restaurant and dance hall together, the two having met at a similar location when they were young. Her father was an amazing piano player, and her mother was a dancer, and neither were shinobi. They raised their daughter to love music as much as they did, and always told her how one day she would take over the business and likely meet a future husband the same way they met one another.

Neither of them were expecting it the day she made clear she wanted to become a shinobi. The family was well off and could certainly afford to send her, but neither were sure about putting their daughter in that kind of danger. Especially after the recent Civil War, they felt wary. In the end however it was her father that decided if it was the path she wanted to take, they would allow it, despite their reservations.

Yasu took to her studies eagerly, her room constantly a mess with scrolls and books from day one as she studied everything she could get her hands on. Already training to be a dancer under her mother, she took to taijutsu most naturally of any discipline, and trained her instincts near daily. Her graduation from the academy was simple, she wasn’t the highest in her class, nor the lowest, but only a few weeks after graduation she already has a huge mission laid out before her…
