[PB]Postal Meeting

It was a typical nice, misty day in Kirigakure no Sato with streets bustling as people went about their daily lives as the morning sun scattered through the droplets that hanged in the air as best as it could hope to do.
Whilst everyone was gong about their business one of the village's citizens found himself in the merchant district as he stood in a small garden between a bunch of shops, standing on a bridge that crossed over a small section of the pond in his usual attire with his red kimono sleeves and floral designed overrobe flowing backwards in the slight breeze as he look across at the water with a scheming gaze.

Earlier in the morning Nishiki was notified he was to build a team for a mission where they where to deliver a message of sorts to an outpost in the Water Country, though it wasn't clear what kind just that it was important enough for a small escort but not that important to need heavy guard or too much haste. Whatever the case it seemed the ageing Jinchuuriki was being tested off the leash in his capability to look after some lower ranks on their task, who of which he had called out to meet with at the very garden where he stood.

One of the people picked for the task was the young genin Aisu named Kasumi whom intrigued the boy some as he had little interaction with the clan but what few he had where quite interesting, plus their icy abilities where interesting in of themselves, though he had to admit the other person picked for the task was far more interesting; Toukai Chisaki.
Nishiki knew of and met some Toukai before but he heard this particular one had a strange and rare mutation to their clan ability, which was actually quite surprising to hear as most mutations got you killed even in this day and age in Kirigakure but perhaps the power of this mutation was so grand that the clan could not let it go.

After a moment just stood watching and thinking an old granny that started her day feeding some birds finally decided to get up off a nearby bench and left the area prompting the sly fox to take action, his five tails swishing about in glee as moved to gather a few things from the area and build a makeshift scarecrow for a little prank he planned.

Once the materials where gathered and the scarecrow was built he then pulled out a spare kimono and such he gathered on his way here after receiving the mission notice and placed them on the scarecrow dummy, putting in quite a bit of detail to make it look like himself from the back looking out to he water like he was not too long ago and even made five fake tails to truly fool people.

With everything set up the nasty trickster slinked off and awaited Kasumi and Chisaki's arrival having given them a set time to arrive which would be soon, as such he went into hiding and watched for their reactions to the fake dummy of himself.

It was time for Kasumi's first ever mission and she was incredibly excited, the girl walking at a fairly rapid pace, though not quite running, as she headed towards the location where she was to meet with her seniors, one of them a Jinchuuriki, the fact simply making her even more excited than she already had been. Barely a Genin and already she was working with a celebrity among celebrities. Really, who wouldn't get excited over such a thing?

Soon enough she arrived at the place where she had been told to meet with her partners, grinning as she spotted the scarecrow, fully believing it to be Nishiki. "Greetings Nishiki-san." she said with a bow, tilting her head as a response didn't come. Perhaps he was simply shy? No, from what she had heard about him that couldn't be right.

And then it clicked, the girl pouting at the realization she had been bamboozled. She had heard that he was a notorious trickster so she really should have known better. Still though, as she stepped closer and looked the scarecrow over she had to admit that he had done a great job with it.

Letting out a sigh she took a seat on a nearby bench and looked out towards the pond herself, taking in the view as she awaited the appearance of the real Nishiki and the Toukai that was to be their other teammate. "well, at least this is a nice view."

Chisaki walked briskly as she made her way to the rendezvous point. It was to be her first real mission that didnt include a senior member of her clan shadowing over her and her family expected her to behave properly. She was curious as to how she'd interact with her new team and wonder to herself if her leader had been given orders to off her if she got out of control. She contemplated showing up slightly late as a little retaliation towards her clan for treating her like an animal... But its not like she didn't understand why. With a sigh of malcontent she made her hair grow out to chin length. She would settle with that as her rebellion for now since most Toukai couldn't grow their hair out at all.

As she passed through the crowd her attire would morph slightly her black jacket gaining a red tribal accent across the back And the neck would shrink to be more normal and less antisocial. Itd remain cropped however exposing her navel which would suddenly appear to be pierced a glossy black 'stone' now decorating her abdominals. Pausing to glance in a window to check her appearance she'd smile brightly satisfied she was properly presentable and continued towards the meet up point a slight skip in her step.

Thinking of her new superior she'd heard he was a jinchukiri and for a moment was struck with a pang of jealousy. What it must be like to not only be a powerful tool of the village, but also an adored celebrity because of it instead of a pariah or black sheep. Approaching the meet up point she saw an overly still figure with tails, that upon observation wasn't breathing, and a young short little girl she almost mistook for a child. She wonder for a moment if the young genin would mistake her age. But only for a moment. She approached ignoring the lifeless thing with tails and moved to introduce herself to her new 'comrade.'

"Greetings. Chisaki of the Toukai, bled for the Muramasa reporting for duty. Have you seen our cell leader?" She asked somewhat stiffly not used to interacting with others. It felt overly formal and not at all how she had imagined introducing herself; though, she was sure her 'family' would be proud.

Nishiki found himself hidden amongst the leaves of a fairly nearby tree as he crouched and leaned over, peering through the gaps to keep a close eye on things so that he could ascertain just how well his prank would go.
As he quietly watched a young girl finally entered and approached the dummy just as he hoped, even bowing to it as she introduced herself which caused the prankster to swiftly cover his mouth with his left hand as to stifle a chuckle as he then watched her sit down in disappointment.

Soon after the strange Toukai entered but unfortunately dismissed the scarecrow and approached the Aisu, asking where their leader was which shocked the lad a bit causing to almost stumble out of the tree as he blurted out some kind of almost choking sound.
With a small bit of dismay the Special Jounin pushed into the collapse and rolled backwards out of the tree but swung around the branch with the aid of tails before propelling himself almost like a rocket into the garden area where he then smashed through the dummy with a powerful crash into the bridge.
"Impostor alert!" he screamed as he flew down and destroyed his fake self

With the fake destroyed Nishiki spun around onto his feet facing the bench, performed some dumb, flashy hand movements and ended with a pose with his claws out in front of him like some child pretending to be an animal.
"All is safe!" he called out, playing it up some more.
"First your trick failed so now you have to salvage things by acting like a complete idiotic fool?" a dumbfounded, annoyed and quite arrogant voice then rung out within the boy's head, bringing attention to just how embarrassing its host was behaving.
"Shishishishishishi" Nishiki then began letting out the laugh from earlier, Yoshimitsu's dry comment seemingly bringing it back up as he buckled forwards and began to hold his stomach
"Y-you- You're... R-r-riiighhtt... SHISHISHIHIHIHIHAHAHAHA" the jinchuuriki then burst out even louder, struggling to reply to the genma within out loud in his actual voice before bucking backwards in a terrible laughter mostly out of embarrassment by now, laughing greatly at himself perhaps partly as a defence mechanism by this point.

As this was going on an elder gentlemen had started to walk into the garden hoping to pass through as a longcut to some store in order to get a little peaceful scenery on his walk, though as he saw the screeching demon child he paused in fear and confusion then made an immediate 180 and exited back out to the street mumbling something about bratty shinobi kids taking over the good places in the village.

The laughing fit over the Tsukino took a deep breath and cleared away his scarecrow before approaching the others with a big grin spread across his face as if everything was perfectly normal and fine.
"Hello, glad you could both make it to our meeting." he greeted the duo in a friendly, polite manner before delving into a long-winded introduction "I am Nishiki, bled for the family Muramasa, born of the house Tsukino, Jinchuriki host of Yoshimitsu no Etaigenma the Phantom Beast of Elements and I will be leading our mission" he spoke with a bow to each.
"Perhaps we can learn about each other a bit first before we head out though?" he then suggested with a tilt of the head, a gleeful swish of his five tails and a hand gesture towards each of them as if he was gonna physically take hold of what they said next.

Kasumi had been watching the pond for some minutes when she was suddenly approached by a red haired woman, a Toukai by the look of things, one several years older than herself."Ah, no... he doesn't appear to be here yet. And I am Kasumi of the Aisu clan, bled for the Hirohito family." she responded, standing up long enough to give a quick bow along with her introduction before returning to her place on the bench. Honestly she was a little bit intimidated by the Toukai girl, though she wasn't entirely sure why. Perhaps it was just the girl's presence... but something felt off, like she wasn't even truly alive as it were. Regardless of the reasoning it was absolutely unsettling.

She resumed watching the pond, momentarily once more feeling at ease only to end up jumping several feet into the air as a man came crashing down from the trees, destroying the scarecrow and only proceeding to make the situation more and more uncomfortable as he began talking to himself and creepily laughing. Okay... maybe the Toukai actually was the normal one and this guy was the unnerving oddball.

Really it was all a bit jarring, Kasumi having realized quite quickly that this strange strange person was actually their leader for this mission. She had thought for sure that a jinchuuriki would be more prim and proper, though perhaps that was just a result of her upbringing leading her to have unrealistic expectations.

"Ah well... it's a pleasure to meet you, Nishiki-san. I am Kasumi of the Aisu clan." she said, once more standing up in order to politely bow to the fox boy. Strange as he was, it was still no excuse for impoliteness. One was to always smile and bow when introducing themselves, that was what she had been taught and that was what she was going to stick to.

Chisaki eyed the man that suddenly appeared attacking the scarecrow in a fervor. She suddenly had a sinking feeling that the tailed man was to be her superior for the duration of the mission. The 'imposter' was clearly built to look like him but was also clearly not alive as to why anyone would attack an inanimate object? Well Chisaki could only hope that her gut was wrong. She noted he seemed to live for attention as he struck a pose. It was childish and such behavior seemed ill fitting a shinobi of his calibre. However, he must've proven himself competent enough to earn his rank and so she swallowed down her worries and quietly reassured herself.

The slight freeze on his face and the way his eyes stared into space for a moment reminded her of Shinji. He often did the same when his genma spoke to him. Like he was focusing on a quiet melody only he could hear. And as with Shinji, an inexplicable comment soon followed as he replied to an unheard voice while he burst into manical laughter. Biting the inside of her lip Chisaki decided she was definitely disturbed by the strange behavior, yet there was nothing she could do. In fact even hearing him state he also bled for the Muramasa was no reassurance. She thought of Shinji and wished he was leading the mission. Then again... maybe that wouldn't be such a good idea, itd be so hard to focus. She smiled at that thought before focusing on the task at hand.

"Toukai Chisaki reporting for duty sir." Her voice would be fairly upbeat despite the formal nature of her words. She noticed how soft and fluffy his tails were and she had to bite the inside of her cheek to resist the urge to reach out and touch them. However, her eyes still betrayed her intentions, lighting up and locking on to their movements like a cat watching a mouse.

Nishiki listened as the pair introduced themselves, noting Kasumi's pleasantness and Chisaki's directness, pondering to himself what was the best way to take things as this was his first time running the show so to speak.
As the Fox pondered and took in their words he noticed how the Toukai seemed to eye his tails, causing a slither of a grin to form as the corners of his mouth peaked and in turn he started to swish them about in her general direction whilst trying to remain focused on the task.

"So then... what are we best at?" Nishiki then asked, continuing to swish his tails almost out of curiosity but truly trying to entice the chuunin in a very cheeky manner.
Coldy, icy stuffs?" he commented pointing at the Aisu, his tone indicating he wanted to know more
"Transformy body things?" he added now pointing at the Toukai as he spoke in a similar questioning tone, wanting to know more.
"Not going to tell them your thing first?" a deep question rumbled within
"Right... All five basic elements" the lad then added, poking himself in the chest "I'm basically a ninjutsu whizz master and I have good taijutsu too, basically top notch" he reported with some glee.
"Waaiit... No! I need to know these two guy's skills, they will be the main leads" he then contested out loud
"So... Yeah... Your guys's strength? Weaknesses?" he finally asked, making it clear he wanted to know how to best utilise them for the mission.

[Kabu]

Kasumi almost immediately noticed the swishing of Nishiki's tails as he pointed them in Chisaki's direction, taking a great interest in wanting to touch them herself, biting her bottom lip as she looked around in an attempt to distract herself. She knew that she musn't as it would surely be both impolite and improper. ...But they looked so terribly cute and fluffy. Oh, what was a young girl to do? What would her mother and father say in a situation such as this? Her mother would surely say to just ask for permission first but what about father? He would most definitely tell her to refuse her urges, that she had to be stronger than that.

Luckily a distraction soon came as they were each asked to explain their own strengths and weaknesses. Now this was something she could actually work with. She was curious about his sudden outburst but chose to ignore it, instead focusing on the questions that had been asked of her. "Well, um I'm only really good at Ninjutsu, and I only recently graduated the academy so I've only just started training in my clan's own techniques as well as basic suiton ninjutsu. I do own a sword but I don't really know how to use it yet. I'll learn one day though." she said, leaving out the part about being unable to use her sword even if she really wanted to."

"So, what about you Chisaki? What can you do?" She didn't really know a great deal about the Toukai and so she had to admit to a great deal of curiosity in what they could actually do and such.

Chisaki noticed the young genin wanted to pet the fluffy tails as well, and she took great comfort in knowing she wasn't suffering alone especially since Nishiki was tempting her quite clearly. It wasn't fair why did her new boss have to be so fluffy? She forced herself to focus on his words and not his tails. But in the back of her mind she kept thinking one little pet wouldn't hurt would it?

When Nishiki over simplified their abilities, she was somewhat put off. Kinda rude to just summarize people like that in her opinion. Having control over the five elements didnt seem that special. Sure it was uncommon. But as far as she knew anyone that tried could learn to do that. She wondered what other secrets he was keeping.

As The young Aisu spoke Chisaki had a flashback to a simpler time. One where she was still human. She paused a moment only half listening thinking about the things she lost in the change before refocusing on the task at hand. It was still rather hard to focus especially when one of the tails kept swooshing by her so close all she'd have to do is reach out and she could feel that soft fluffy.... Nope. She'd wouldn't let him control her like that. Him and his evil fluffiness.

It finally came her turn to speak and a sickeningly sweet sadistic smile crossed her lips. "I can do much more than just morph my body. Especially since recently I've put effort in to learn about genjutsu. Its so much fun to see a big strong man on his knees crying because you got in his head." Shed shiver as if she had chills swaying side to side a bit, a euphoric look on her face. "It's just sooo... Satisfying." She'd smile and glance at Nishiki as if imagining him suffering. She didn't think she could affect him that way, but the idea was quite tempting.

Nishiki noticed how he seemed to have caught the attention of both girls with his tails now as they started to explain a bit about their skills, as such the little trickster started to slowly shift into a twin assault by swishing at each of them almost like an unaware but happy dog or rather fox.
As the Tsukini had a bit of fun with his underlings he took in what said, noting that Kasumi was still pretty fresh and just knew the basics of her clan and some suiton mostly whilst Chisaki seemed to revel in her genjutsu and her typical body morphing skills.

"Hmm... I suppose that makes you pretty well rounded together" the young Special Jounin then commented in reply with an actual hint of seriousness "Hopefully you can cover for each other pretty well then, though I'm not certain how much trouble we will get into once we set off on the mission" he further explained as he thought through how things might go.
"Speaking of..." the lad then trailed off as he rummaged within the inside of his kimono and pulled out a sealed scroll "Tadah!" he boomed as he whipped out the papers before moving into the details "Our mission is basically to protect this and to get it safely to an outpost on one of the smaller islands in our very own water country, nothing tooo spectacular really but seems like it's too important to be sent by messenger bird so they're sending us with it.... buuut... I suppose it also can't be overly important either since we're no elites or anything and we have a few days to get it there... hmm... I bet it's just orders for schedule changes or something" Nishiki went on for a bit as he explained the mission and tried to decipher the possible contents of the message.
"Well, either way, it's protocol that we must not look within no matter how curious we get so no peeking!" he spoke oddly sternly with a frowny face, halting his swishing tails for a moment as he squinted at the two girls but then swiftly turned back to normal
"So, who do you think should carry it?" the Tsukino then asked rather abruptly with a grin spreading across his face as he held out the scroll, tilting it from side to side as he pointed it at Kasumi then Chisaki and back again.
It was there that he would await his team's answer as his tails also continued to swish in reverse to the scroll, his foxy ears fully perked up as he waited for how they would reply and pondered what their reasoning might be whilst making it clear it would be a task for them and not himself.
"Are you sure you can run this team?" a menacing voice spoke up withing, though it got silence in return as its host remained focused on what the girls had to say.

Kasumi couldn't help herself as she batted at the tail being waved at her, a smile crossing her face as her fingers barely brushed up against the fur. She knew it was wrong but still she couldn't help but feel pleased at having gotten a touch in, no matter how brief it was, and with that much out of the way she could put her all into the mission.

And speaking of the mission, it seemed that she and her partners had rather differing skillsets which could only be a boon for... whatever it was that their task was, the girl having realized in that moment that she hadn't yet been informed as to what their mission would actually entail. Surely though it couldn't be anything too difficult, given that she was a fresh genin and all, even if she was working with partners of higher ranks.

As she was about to ask about their mission, Nishiki produced a scroll from within his kimono and explained the situation, Kasumi tilting her head as she pondered over what it could actually be. "A letter maybe? If it were something like orders then surely they would have found some faster means of delivery."

As she was pondering this, the question of who was to carry the delivery came and she quickly shook her head, an embarrassed blush on her face. "I um... I don't think I'm ready for a task like that myself. It's a bit too nerve wracking"

Chisaki would bite her lip jealous of Kasumi. She wanted to touch too... Just as she was about to reach out to touch, Nishiki pulled out a scroll and began explaining the mission. She let go of her desire and rocked from heel to heel, in an attempt to get rid of some excess energy.


"If you dont mind Nishiki-Sama, I think the scroll itself would be safer with me. I'll hide it in my body and if captured the enemy can frisk me all they want and theyll never find it."

It was a solid plan in her mind, its not like she had pockets in her clothes the enemy could pick or steal from. She was happy to be showing off her talents up until the genin started to complain. She must be fresh out of the academy, no other shinobi would be this soft. She shook her head before putting on a smile about to give her a little pep talk.

"Okay snow princess. Listen. The village is testing you with this mission to see if you have the guts to do what must be done even when the odds aren't in your favor. Are you gonna show them that you're weak? Besides if any real danger pops up Im sure Nishiki Sama will hold them off while we run like hell. We'll keek you safe aight?"

Chisaki was somewhat disgusted by the lack of resolve in this Aisu, but it was offset by how innocent and cute she was. Chisaki wasn't sure whether she wanted to torment her or protect her.

Nishiki wasn't truly keen on getting a full pat down or anything, at least not yet with these girls, as it seemed kind of weird but it was fun teasing them with a feel since they and many others seemed very interested in that sort of thing though he did like it when he brushed his hair and such so perhaps in the future he would actually offer a true feel but for now the glancing touch from Kasumi was enough as he revelled in the tease.

With the special jounin's question asked the pair gave their own answers with the genin's seeming quite meek whereas the chuunin's was more confident, which he liked though the chuunin did throw a bit of shade at the meek girl which he wasn't sure if that was acceptable or not.
"Well, true, you probably won't get far if you stay weak forever but there is always room for growth and I'm sure we can help her with that" the Tsukino spoke up, becoming a little more serious as he stilled himself and gave a little grin at the Aisu as she managed to get a slight touch of his tails.

"What if people catch on to those same thoughts and perhaps ignore our young snow princess" he then spoke out, taking the micky out of what Chisaki had called her partner "Perhaps they will miss the note entirely?" he put the question out to both of them, making them think about it for a second before moving on.
"Though it is typically best to have a stronger or more sneaky person to carry such things when it comes to good tactics I do hear, as such Chisaki stands out as the best option with her confidence and rank ignoring myself of course" he then explained, finally turning properly towards the Toukai with his right hand outreached towards her with scroll within its grip, his eyes giving a confirming look as he happily grinned all too naturally.

With that it would seem like Chisaki would take hold of the scroll but perhaps there was still yet a chance for a change in mind or some other happenstance that changed things.
