After being granted the rank of Bannin, Aimi wanders around Kirigakure in a bit of a dream-like haze and interacts with anyone who comes across his path.

It was always so difficult to tell whether or not the mist was thin or not within Kirigakure. It was much easier to tell if it was think or not because you stop being able to see where you're going beyond a good 5 to 10 feet. But how thin it was? That was much more difficult to pin down. The fog was always there in some degree but how thin it was depended on a lot of things. The weather, the wind, the time of year, if anyone was practicing Mist style ninjutsu out in the open. To Aimi Kaguya the mist looked and felt thinner than it had before he walked to the Mizukage tower though he couldn't really figure out why. The sun wasn't especially bright out, the wind not particularly strong. Things simply looked... clearer to him now, for some reason. Perhaps it was just that an invisible weight had been lifted off of his shoulders and for the first time in a long while he was walking with his head held upright - really, truly looking upwards for a change.

Walk Aimi did through the streets of Kirigakure with no particular direction in mind. He had in his left hand the scroll which marked him as his new rank officially and little else on his person. His wrapped feet padded quietly on the cool stone, his bare chest felt the chilly air as he strolled along, his hair fluttered behind him with every step. His chin was held up high and his face was serene - an expression that was all but foreign to the usually pensive and some who bothered to really look might even say troubled look upon his chiseled face. All worries were gone now though seemingly, for what did he have to worry about truly?

Aimi was a bannin of Kirigakure now. That meant several things, not the least of which being that at any given moment he could be assigned on a mission if it was deemed that he was fit for it. Now no one but Kasai could send him on missions - and any mission that required the touch of a bannin was few and far between indeed. He didn't have to worry about being back within the Kaguya compound by a certain time or even tell someone that he was going to be late or simply gone. His time and where he spent it was now his own and he didn't have to tell anyone where he was going at all if he felt like it. Any responsibilities that he had to teach or train anyone was really no longer his now if he didn't want to. There were plenty of other jounin in the village that could pick up where he left off on any of the lower ranked shinobi he'd had interactions with. He wasn't beholden to anyone or anything anymore. With a scant few exceptions... he was free.

Little did he know that shortly after his departure from the Mizukage tower that Kasai had given word to announce Aimi's new rank to the village at large and little did he care. As far as he was aware it was something that only he and Kasai knew, and that meant the only thing really on Aimi's mind was this; who should he tell first? The Kaguya clan leader? His parents? Some of his fellow jounin - former fellow jounin - perhaps? Or maybe one of his students? Nishiki for example! He hadn't seen the pink-haired genma host in weeks, now that he thought about it. What was the boy up to? How were his tricky antics coming along?

Aimi walked through the misty streets of Kirigakure without knowing he had a smile on his face and a lightness in his heart. The world was open to him truly for the first time in his entire life! What would he do with such freedom?

It seemed like a fine day in Kirigakure with the usual mist lingering in a calmness, just a basic average day really it seemed and was much the same for most citizen's lives as well as everyone went about their usual business including the young Tsukino known as Nishiki who was starting off with some prayers and chores for the day.
However news spread quite fast within the shinobi networks, especially to those with deeper connections to the great families, as such it didn't take long for the average day to twist into a seemingly happier day as Nishiki received news of his old sensei ranking up to Bannin which truly invigorated the lad and caused him to bolt into action.

After finishing off his current chore with haste the red kimono clad fox bolted off down a bunch of streets on the lookout for Aimi, hearing the man had just earned the rank and had likely just left the Kage building not too long ago to which after a quick search became apparently true.
With his eyes laid upon the almost as naked as ever man the youngster manoeuvred around the backside of some buildings and peeped out around the corner with a big grin, watching for a moment as he took in the curiously different look upon the man's face which almost felt more worrying than seeing it angry and coming at him to teach some lesson.

With a swish of his five tails the Tsukino leapt out of the shadows at great height once the timing seemed right, aiming for the back of the Kaguya's head as he was passing by, fully expecting a rebuttal of some kind but nonetheless hoping to land right on top with his right hand and lift himself up in a single handed handstand in a bit of a showoff fashion perhaps to prove how far he was coming himself.

All in all it would be quite the spectacular greeting whether it worked or not and certainly was no boring drivel which Aimi hated quite so and was full of sneaky fun that Nishiki loved.

Leap
D-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Nishiki will simply propel himself forwards with a high leap into the air, typically aimed to dodge over an obstacle or opponent.

Grand Balancing Act
B-Ranked Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Nishiki will flip over an opponent and land on their head with one of his hands, holding himself upright whilst maintaining his balance as he shifts to counteract the opponent's movements. Once on top he will wait for an opportunity to strike as the foe then tries to remove him from atop their head, moving to strike and take hold of any limbs that may come at him as he then falls and twists pulling it with him.
As he falls he aims to pull and twist the opponent with him, hurting their limb and bringing them to the ground.
If the opponent does not retaliate in such a way Nishiki will eventually fall behind them instead, twirling into a powerful knee into the back in attempt to slam them into the ground.
Once the foe is grounded Nishiki will then spring away from them and jump right back to his feet, aiming to swiftly exit from a dangerous situation.

Chisaki had been indulging her sweet tooth in her favorite cake shop when she heard the news. A new Bannin had been announced in the village. The thought filled her with awe. She couldn't imagine what kind of strength that was. She thought of Shinji and wondered how strong he was compared to the new Bannin as she realized she'd never asked what his rank was. Putting a few bills on the counter she left the small little shop and walked into the street still taking her time as she nommed away on her cake.

As she walked down the streets she headed towards the kage building wondering what the bannin was like. As she walked she saw a sight so peculiar she almost dropped her cake. Almost. A familiar looking fox like figure jumped out at a practically naked man. Instantly her first thought was that her team leader had found some scoundrel but the look on his face was much to happy. So she stood and watched drawing conclusion after conclusion as she nibbled away at her cake.

Eventually her mind settled on Nishiki and the practically naked man being lovers that hadn't seen each other in a very long time. She presumed the naked guy had been cheating and avoided team leader. The perfect explanation for the pensive look on his face. As for Team leader, she assumed he already knew the man was cheating but had forgiven him, mostly, already. Hence the attack out of nowhere but the seemingly ecstatic expression on his face. She slipped another tiny piece of cake in her mouth and nodded in satisfaction with her excellent deductive reasoning.

It's strange how news of a big nature can alter ones' behaviors even if for only a little while. Aimi, in his still dazed state, had no clue that he was being followed despite his years of training to keep an eye out for such things. He wasn't even checking that he might have a tail at this very moment! A little more than an hour ago he could have more or less told you how many people were watching him as he stood outside of the Mizukage tower, but now? With only a single fox boy darting behind allies and trying to stay in his blind side? He couldn't have been more oblivious. In fact it wasn't until after Nishiki jumped that the newly ranked Bannin took notice - and frankly it was only by the grace of the sound of his moving through the air that he noticed at all.

Turning his head he looked behind him and saw no one, so looked up and saw Nishiki, just the young man he had been thinking of a few minutes before! His on-and-off student was attempting to make a surprise attack on him it would seem and, for all intents and purposes, it had worked! But the gap between them was still astronomical. As the Tsukino Genma host came downwards towards him with his right arm extended, Aimi lifted his own right arm and braced himself. As their palms made contact Aimi wrapped his fingers around Nishiki's hand and held on to him tightly, catching him midair and supporting the younger shinobi as he balanced on his hand! The surprising thing, though, was the force of impact felt in Aimi's arm. There was more strength behind the blow, and if he wasn't mistaken the balancing act was new as well! The Kaguya tilted his head back and looked up at Nishiki, grinning cheerfully from ear to ear. "Well, look who's showing improvement!" he said gleefully, before offering his own rebuke.

Pushing upwards with his right arm with enough force to launch the Tsukino upwards several meters into the air, Aimi would leap up after the young fox and, once in the air and next to him, grab a hold of his clothing before flipping him around and sending them both on what seemed to be a sudden crash course for the cobblestones below! Just before they hit, however, they stopped in midair. During their fall the Kaguya had sprouted a pair of feathered wings and had broken their fall by flapping them vigorously to the point where Nishiki's feet was little more than six inches off of the ground. All of this, of course, would be done so quickly that it was hard to say if the Tsukino would be able to keep up, but none the less. The Kaguya would lift the boy upwards by his clothing and adjust their stance so that both pairs of feet would touch the ground at roughly the same time.

Chuckling lightly Aimi would let go of Nishiki's shirt and bring both of his hands up to pat his shoulders, his wings receding back into his body from whence they came. "Ah, look at you! It's been a while since we last saw each other, huh? How've you been? What's new? You're getting taller! Almost as tall as me now. Come, walk with me," he said in rapid succession, letting go of Nishiki's shoulders and stepping around him to continue his stroll through the village, still as of yet unaware that there was someone else watching from afar. Truly he was distracted beyond belief today! But then, who could blame him?

It hadn’t taken long for Shinji to hear the news that Aimi-Sama had been promoted to Bannin, the young Jinchuuriki had a knack for being in the right place at the right time. Typically, in the form of a small animal like a bat, dog, or rat he could easily travel about the village inconspicuously and pick up on all sorts of information. As soon as he had heard he transformed into his human form and grew a pair of large bat wings, taking to the sky as his head shifted to the likeness of a great horned owl. This way as he flew through the skies he could hear dozens of conversations, praise of the great swordsman and Katon user spreading through the village like wildfire. If Shinji could smile in this form he would but alas his mouth was currently a beak.

Moving through the air like a silent black streak of death, the assassin quickly arrived not far from the Mizukage tower, honing in on Aimi effortlessly. He didn’t approach him directly however, noting the presence of Nishiki of course but also another individual farther out, someone who didn’t have a heartbeat but yet he could hear chewing their cake nonetheless and was able to identify visually. Swooping in from behind her, Shinji would casually land right behind her, hoping to give her a bit of a scare. Even in flight and landing he was utterly silent, right down to his supressed breathing and heartrate. “Which one of them are you checking out? You don’t have a crush do you?” he teased in a mocking, playful tone, his voice the same as it usually was though as she turned around to see him surely she would not be expecting his face the be that of a large owl head, feathers, beak and great big yellow eyes all included. Expecting her to hit him he would simply take it, transforming his head back to normal but keeping the wings. Laughing lightly, his green eyes and relaxed expression would seem genuinely happy. He even had his hood back and his mask off, a sign of a great deal of comfort around her but also indicative of the joyful mood of celebrating Aimi-sama’s promotion. And even Nishiki he had heard had been promoted to Special Jounin recently. He was eager to congratulate the both of them.

Nishiki's smile turned into a full fledged grin spreading across his face as Aimi turned and caught him with his own hand, complementing the lad as he balanced for a moment but only for just one moment as he knew that soon enough the man would turn things on him and sure enough he did.
With a powerful thrust the Bannin shot the Special Jounin back up into the air and though the lad managed to twist himself in the air in attempt to start a recovery, the near naked man then burst up to him and grabbed a hold of the boy's clothing and dragged him down towards the ground with great force before he truly realised what exactly was happening.

Though before the Tsukino slammed down into the ground he was held up mere inches away thanks to the Kaguya's grand prowess and timing with the growth of his wings, which he then used to lift him back up and then land the pair back on their feet together which truly proved the new title was well suited to the man.
"Shishi, that was pretty awesome" the young fox then snickered as they landed, feeling the true power of a bannin in that small moment.

It truly had been awhile now as Nishiki had also ranked up with his mastery over Yoshimitsu proving to be quite grand, in turn allow him to be far less monitored by any guards and for him to begin teaching some lower ranks himself of which one was unknowingly looking on in a daydream about the pair before being startled by Shinji.
At Aimi's comment about the boy's height he perked up up his ears to their peaks and did a kind of cheating height measurement with his hand before doing a silly pouty face.
"Even with my ears" he commented before snickering with a sharp grin.
With that he turned and began to walk with his old sensei, thinking up how he had improved and what he was up to now.
"Shishi I have actually lead my ow team of sorts recently, zero guards tailing us, was pretty fun" he commented showing how much he was growing up, though still calling things fun instead of serious.
"You truly believe there are zero guards at all tailing you, my little prison of which I will escape one day" Yoshimitsu taunted within his mind
"Oh, Yoshi-chan also says hello shishisi" the boy then added as a little snickering rebuttal to the Genma's internal comments, causing a a grumble and what could only be described as a sensation that felt like a sharp, menacing stare.

Despite the well practiced stealth she still noticed someone approach her incredibly close. The distinct sound of thump thump, thump thump, though steady and calm ,was a noise her own body didn't make and one she was incredibly sensitive towards. After all, if it was alive it generally was considered prey and food. This statement had few exceptions however, but that was solely dependent upon Chisaki's attitude.

Her body reacted on instinct when she heard his voice her face lighting up, elbow swinging back right into a solid gut. She glanced, expecting to see Shinji. She furrowed her brow and shook her head seeing the face of a giant owl. "Baka! Squishy, you should really stay away from looking like an oversized chicken. I might think your food and try to eat you." A smile swept across her face as he morphed back her voice sweet with a slight hint of venom from her mild irritation and it'd be hard to tell if she was joking about eating him or not. She'd dab some of her icing on his nose and nod matter of factly. "There now maybe you'll be a bit sweeter."

Smirking she'd turn her head and gesture to Aimi and Nishiki while taking another bite of her cake which to her disappointment was beginning to run out. "Don't ruffle your feathers Squishy. Jealousy doesn't suit you. I was just watching the reunion of two obvious love birds. I mean look at how tenderly the naked one handled team leader. Come we should go congratulate them for making up. Ah today is such a joyous event! A new bannin and team leader has reunited with his lover smiles all around." She'd tug on his hand bossily pulling him along towards the cute couple.

Chisaki had reacted about as he expected her to. He took the elbow to the stomach without any reaction, his muscular abs acting like a steel plate that protected him from any harm. He enjoyed her response to his partial transformation, though he considered for a moment what it would be like if she actually tried to eat him. He had seen her devour a full-grown man before, absorbing him essentially, though surely he would be able to resist to something like that. “I don’t know, pretty sure I’d be too much for you to handle” he said with a grin. The statement could certainly be taken more way than one. He was certainly curious to see her try, though this wasn’t the occasion for that.

She dabbed some of her cakes icing on his nose and Shinji let out a sigh of feigned annoyance before smiling slightly. For some reason or another, he liked her unique charm. Slipping his gloves off he would stow them away in a small pouch at his lower back, beneath his cloak. Rubbing the glaze off his nose he would taste it, he had a bit of soft spot for sweets himself though not nearly to the extent of Chisaki who seemed to eat cakes and desserts every day whereas Shinji only treated himself on rare occasions. “Not bad” he assessed dryly. “You never get tired of sweets do you?” he wondered absently, he supposed it was only natural for a teenage woman to enjoy sugary foods and given the fact that she didn’t need to watch her weight at all there was no reason not to indulge. Still, he was sure he would get tired of it if he ate such things too often.

He smirked in response to her comment on the two men they were observing, he knew he didn’t have any reason to be jealous though it was her assessment of the relationship between Aimi-sama and Niskihi that truly amused Shinjiro, “You know, I can see it” he agreed, still smirking, though he did note that she referred to Nishiki as her team leader. That was news to him, he wondered how the two got along though he was sure to find out shortly. Shinji was planning on introducing Chisaki to the pair though it seemed she was familiar with one of them already which made that a little easier. He wasn’t expecting her to grab his hand and drag him along though. ‘Always so energetic’ he considered as he held her hand and let her drag him along, easily keeping pace. After a few strides he decided they were moving far too slow for his liking. Green chakra surged around his back as a large pair of black bat wings formed. Shinji would easily scoop Chisaki up, grabbing under her legs with his left arm and under her back with the other and in a sudden burst of speed and a flap of his wings they were both lifted off the ground, crossing the remaining 30 or so meter distance nearly instantly. Softly Shinji would land, having only been about a meter off of the ground. He would casually place Chisaki down and try to not draw too much attention to his closeness with the young woman. “Congratulations on becoming a Bannin Aimi-Sama and you too Nishiki for being promoted to Special Jounin.” He greeted sincerely. He actually liked both of these individuals, their strength and value to the village was undeniable.

"Yoshi-chan?" Aimi asked, the subjective honorific being applied to the Genma bringing a smile to his face. He'd certainly never heard anyone speak of a massively destructive spiritual beast in such a manner before. Such delightful disrespect brought a smile to his face. "Funny," he added, knowing that it was likely to infuriate the beast within - especially given Aimi's personal history with subduing it. He continued to speak before the conversation could linger on that particular point. "Your own team? Last I checked you were a Chunin, weren't you? Did you get promoted again or are you just -" Before he could finish, however, the other two ninja who had been keeping their distance thus far closed the gap. Aimi's head snapped up as they approached, one literally being dragged along by the other as they flew through the thin mist. Aimi's brow furrowed. Did he recognize those wings?

The Bannin received his answer by speech. He knew that voice. He knew that face. This was none other than Shinji, who he had also not seen for a long while. Not since he had made his point at the Karagata household. The memory and realization of who he was talking to made the smile drop from his face. There was a visible shift in his body language as the Kaguya stiffened up and memories flooded his mind of the day. He hadn't seen Shinji since - had made it a point to put some distance between them so that he could process the events of that day. Truthfully he didn't know if the next time he would see the boy would be as enemies or not.

His greeting seemed to suggest otherwise, though, and he allowed his shoulders to sink back down and relax. "Shinji. Thank you for the congratulations," he said, pulling his smile back up into place though it didn't feel as genuine now. Aimi turned to Nishiki again and said sincerely, "Special Jounin? That was quick, huh? Feels like only a few months ago I recall you being named Chunin. Bah, what do I know? I hardly keep up to date with news about ranking anyways. Well done on making it to Special Jounin, Nishiki."

"As for the previously mentioned congratulations," he continued, turning back to the other Genma host he had mentored, "Word must be spreading quickly. I think it's barely been an hour since I was given my new rank and you already know about it. Must mean that Nishiki here knew as well. If this is how quickly news can spread in this village... well, had I known, I might have paid attention to things a little better!" he jested, knowing in his heart of hearts that he wouldn't have either way but none the less feeling a bit cheated that the news was already out. That meant there was no point in him announcing things himself! If everyone from the Tsuknio to the Karagata already knew it wouldn't take long before it reached every corner of the village from the aristocrats to the ninja to the rest of the village. If the civilians treated him as a celebrity before he could only imagine the sort of reverence he would receive now that he was a bannin! The only people he could think of who likely wouldn't know was...

The Bannin turned and looked at the last person there, the young woman holding a cake who had been brought over by Shinji. "I don't think we've met," he said, his sharp blue eyes wandering over the shorter kunoichi's features and taking them in quickly. Her pale skin and short hair meant nothing to him, but the yellow eyes gave her away as a member of the Toukai clan; a rival to his own. He briefly wondered if Kasai, the Mizukage, had also been a Toukai at one point for she shared the same eyes as him. "I assume the Toukai have heard the good news as well?" he asked, knowing the answer but humoring the concept of conversation anyways. After all why not? He was still in quite the good mood despite the awkward pensiveness he felt towards Shinji at the moment. He seemed to harbor no ill will towards him from what he'd done - if anything he felt as if he respected Aimi even more. All the same; this was Kirigakure. Maybe Shinji would get the bright idea to try and get the jump on him?

The duo continued to walk with Aimi finding Nishiki's comment towards Yoshiitsu quite funny, putting a small smile on the boy's face and an annoyed feeling deep within from said beasts. Afterwards Aimi began to ask about the team his past student was running but the two of them suddenly got interrupted as Shinji flew over whilst carrying a member of said team with him.
"Ah, Shinji and Chisaki" the young fox instantly blurted upon seeing the two land before them, believing they most likely came over to greet and congratulate their new bannin like he had done, which speaking of.
"Ah yes, congratulations Aimi-sensei" the Tsukino then turned and give a quick nod to the almost naked man, flashing a big grin as he recalled why he even came rushing over in the first place.
"Oh, yeah, I did rank up further too, thank you" he then thanked in return, brimming with confidence over how fast he was able to further himself and climb his own ladder which one day could hopefully mean he would also achieve bannin and finally match his old sensei.

With that he turned to face the other two that had appeared as Aimi seemed surprised over just how fast news seemed to be travelling, the boy's ears flicking and tails swishing in curiosity over what else the pair may say as he patiently waited to possibly explain his team situation though he wondered if Chisaki may say herself.

The familiarity the two spoke with each other despite their differences in rank, made their relationship seem rather intimate. Upon hearing bits and pieces she was able to conclude the bannin once taught team leader. At this her mind went wild, thoughts of forbidden love between master and disciple. It was a good thing Chisaki didn't have blood or she'd definitely be blushing. After all the imagining was so much easier when one of the parties involved was already practically naked.

The air around the bannin seemed off however, as if he was waiting for a fight. Who would be stupid enough to try and fight a bannin? When he addressed her as if she spoke for the whole Toukai clan she paused. "I'm Chisaki sir. I don't know about the rest of my clan. I only knew cause I was eating cake near by and even then I didn't know it was you." She resisted the urge to shrug and struggled to maintain a proper military baring. Eventually she caved in and returned her attention to her cake.

She frowned as she looked at her cake. It was almost gone. She'd look at it a moment before eating the final bite. Shed then take her finger and scrape off the remaining icing like an addict getting the last drop of alcohol. She'd pop her finger in her mouth and suck, making sure she got every once of white creamy goodness. "Mmmmmm so good."

There was a certain stiffness and awkwardness to the exchange between Shinji and Aimi. He nodded as the man accepted the congratulations. There was certainly still some tension in the air, it always seemed to be the case when the two were around one another. Shinji respected the man greatly for his power and wished to learn from him though he found himself conflicted about Aimi’s personal beliefs, the two frequently clashing when it came to their ideals. It seemed no matter what Shinji did he would be chastised by the Kaguya though he held resentment toward the many seemingly hypocritical philosophies the mentor figure had. After he had challenged his family, Shinji felt further conflicted. It cemented his admiration toward Aimi-sama’s strength and ability though it tainted the pride he felt in being a Karagata. He realized that while his family’s methods may not have been necessary to achieve true greatness, while they certainly had been wasteful, they were still ultimately effective. It was up to him now to discover his own path and his own philosophies, separate from both Aimi’s and those of his father. In that way the mists obscuring his mind had been lifted. He felt freer to choose for himself.

Shinji’s neutral expression was one of coldness and thinly veiled danger emanating from his bright green eyes, “The first Bannin under Mizukage Kasai-Sama’s rule, this isn’t just any news. You’ll be far more famous and revered than even Nishiki and I now” he stated. The strength of the Mizukage a Bannin was promoted under directly reflected their own reputation and Kasai was the most fearsome leader the hidden Mist had seen for generations. He brought new life into the village, a fervor for spreading power and influence and with it whispers of war. To select his first new champion meant that Aimi-Sama was an idol to stand behind, an invaluable asset to the village in the conflicts to come. The people would rally to support him and revere him as a symbol of something far beyond themselves. Businesses would offer him free service and go out of their way to accommodate him for the privilege of having him in their presence, his name alone drawing in more customers to their establishments.

Out of the corner of his eye Shinji noted Nishiki swishing his tails and suddenly his expression livened up. “Ohh, your new tails have already grown in” he observed, swiftly moving to the fellow Special Jounin Jinchurriki’s side. Looking over the five tails quickly the young Swordsmen of the Mist would grin, he was coming along quite quickly indeed. “I can practically feel your power growing, you’re catching up quickly Nishiki-san” he said with a wolfish grin as he clasped the fox-man on the shoulder. He had earned Shinji's respect as an equal, though there were whispers that a promotion would soon be coming Shinji's way, “You’ve even gotten a little taller” he noted. The two of them were the same age as one another, within about 5 months or so and now they stood at a similar height as well. It was really quite exciting for Shinji who had become a host a year before the Elementalist to see him fill into his role so well. A thought suddenly occurred to him as he looked back over at Aimi. “Back in Star Country, your match against the Mizukage was impressive but I can’t help but wish you had entered the Taijutsu division. I won that tournament, but I would have rather fought someone like you to truly earn it, even losing to you would be more satisfying than a hollow victory” he explained. He hoped he would have an opportunity to challenge the man properly at some point, though outside of an arena with such advanced healing rituals it was highly likely that even a spar between warriors of their caliber could become lethal.

It was a rare day for Mondai one where he rested instead of training his body and mind needed rest so he took some time off and went off to town. he was mostly happy yet calm, Not super excited and energetic however he did appreciate everything that he saw around him the people, the streets, the various things one could buy and enjoy through town. A time where Mondai felt happy and could enjoy the moment without thinking about, training the next missions or the slums he was born and raised in. Everything was generally bliss for Mondai something he didn't enjoy too often. It was a fairly standard day until news spread like wildfire and burned down the entire forest down. Aimi the man who judged Mondai's fight with Shinjiro was promoted to Bannin S-rank ninja the peak of ranks, power, and a reputation second only to the Kage. Mondai was happy with the news he felt like Aimi was a good man despite his short interaction with him. There was something about Aimi that screamed of good character despite his 'interesting' appearance. Mondai caught wind of the news and apparently he was close to the Bannin since Mondai wasn't too far from the Kage building Mondai hadn't even noticed where he had wondered he was to preoccupied within his mind to think about where he was going at the moment. As Mondai wandered on he then stumbled across them at a distance, Mondai paused briefly going over if he should approach or not. I mean Shinjiro is there. Hmmm Nah don't want to bother plus what do I get to say about this anyways? Congratulations? Wonder how many times he had heard that? Plus can't have lowborn being around the fresh Bannin. Mondai taught too himself feeling as to he would ruin Bannin's credibility and reputation even though felt like Aimi didn't truly care about him being lowborn. If not that maybe just ruin the overall mood were they to ask where he was from. So he moved on instead of walking trying to walk past them and hoped he wouldn't be spotted by Shinjiro who he felt he had built up a small bond with.

He noticed a shop that sold cakes, pastries, and sweets. The sweet smell allured him almost pulling him up by the nose and making him float towards the shop. Mondai felt that he deserved to bite down on something delicious and sweet giving him just that bit of energy and joy that this day had and hopefully carried along to the rest of the day.

It was with a strange sense of nostalgia and distance that Aimi watched the three of them interact. The feeling was strange because despite the trio being relatively close to him in age his new rank suddenly made him feel much, much older. The nostalgia he felt just from looking at Shinji and Nishiki interact with one another. In the past he had been paired up with others for missions and from time to time when he would be paired with someone he had worked with before they would note to each other the sort of progress that they'd made. It really hadn't been since his days as a chunnin that he had received such words. Beyond that point he had mostly been left to learn and grow on his own and it was evident that he had exceeded most of his peers in this field. The feeling of distance came when he looked over at Chisaki as she spoke and then proceeded to eat - and rather enjoy by the looks of it - her cake. He certainly knew that look of pleasure that one took from an especially good piece of food, yet for some reason he suddenly felt as if he hadn't eaten anything in years. More than that though he hadn't been expecting her to call him 'sir'. Sensei he was used to because he had taught many, including two who stood before him now, over the years but sir was something entirely different. Truly he hadn't grasped yet just the level of respect he would be receiving from anyone and everyone within Kirigakure now. It never would even occur to him that he was now considered more famous than the two Genma hosts!

This strange distant feeling would continue as he lifted his head up to look back to said Genma hosts when he spotted yet another younger ninja walking by. His eyes looked at Mondai but it was as if he was viewing him from a distance. He recognized him but only vaguely, as he had only met him once on that fateful day that had drove him to confront the Karagata family. His name eluded the Kaguya and that only made the feeling of newfound distance all the worse. Aimi watched as Mondai made his way past them and headed over to a shop, his head far away in the clouds. Noise seemed to dampen itself and it was as if the Bannin was standing alone in the middle of the street for a moment.

The moment passed as Shinji addressed him once again. Aimi's head snapped back around to look at the brown-haired jounin and his focus returned. Even still his mind was late in responding to what the younger jounin had to say. He smiled after a second and replied, "It's important to test your limits always, and I thought I'd do that better by entering the ninjutsu tournament. It was just bad luck that I was pitted against the Mizukage right out of the gate! Had I entered the taijutsu tournament..." He paused, trying to search for the words that would best described how he felt his performance would have been had he stuck to his strengths. After a brief couple of seconds he simply said with his arms held up to his side, "Well, I would have won. Fairly easily. We don't grow by doing what's constantly easy for us, though... and, just between the four of us here, I was holding back during my fight with the Mizukage. My ninjutsu are ill suited for such a small environment!"

After this Aimi once again fell quiet as thoughts of the fight with Kasai filled his mind. He had been holding back in more than one sense. It wasn't until the end of the fight that he was really forced to use something a bit more offensive in his Dance of the Seedling Ferns ninjutsu, and even then he had an even deadlier version at his disposal. He had barely used any of his katon ninjutsu during the fight and what he had used was on a smaller scale. None of which was to say about his 'secret techniques' in napalm... Because of Kasai's raw ninjutsu power he had been forced to rely on his intellect and tactics in order to stay in the fight. That was the thing though - even with all of his cunning and planning he had lost to Kasai's raw strength and as he had watched other matches it was apparent that he, too, had been holding back a great deal during their fight. All the same he had still felt that Aimi was worthy of a promotion...

The thoughts running through his head once again made him feel as if he were all alone in the street. Truly he was grappling with a lot of new feelings that he wasn't sure how to properly process. Much was going through his head right now that he never dreamed he would have to deal with...

Chisaki seemed to really be enjoying her cake as she munched down on every last little bit and even sucked her fingers, grabbing Nishiki's attention a little as he pondered just how delicious it truly could be before turning to Shinji as he complimented his growth which put a decent little smile upon the boy's face.
"Shishi, gotta keep pushing ourselves to be our best" the young fox replied with a happy nod
"Aimi-sama probably also still pushes himself further and further" he then commented as he looked over at the man with delight as things then delved into the intense competition at Star Country.

The Tsukino was overwhelmed by how intense everything seemed to be during those fighting tournament events, which all seemed to push him further like the Kakuya was saying even though he just watched.
It all seemed like a beautiful marvel to an outside observer such as himself, with displays like the Mizukage and just now newly promoted Bannin's fights showing off the pristine skill of top end ninjutsu even in such a restrained manner which probably took even more skill to perform than just unleashing at maximum though the boy had to admit he was also taken aback over the match where Kasai had to fight that crazy sand using girl.

In all honestly the entire Star Country event was quite something to behold and held quite a lot of lessons to both those participating and those that just watched, even if it was just a match here and there, getting to see such a mix of various country's techniques and power certainly provided much to learn from.
Even as Aimi spoke again now with his words of wisdom it made sense what he was saying about going outside one's comfort zone, which made sense of why the man entered the ninjutsu tournament now as the boy had been curious but it was thanks to that that one could see great growth and inspiring skill.
"If Aimi-sama can do that with his ninjutsu then I can push myself too... Though I wonder if... No, I can attain the same strength as Kasai-sama... That power..." the boy trailed off in his own thoughts as he pondered just how far he could push Yoshimitsu's gift and himself.

Chisaki noticed a couple of glances as she finished off her cake and smirked. It was fun messing with peoples heads. Surprisingly enough, the one person that didn't seem to react at all was the man she was trying to mess with the most. As for the conversation she was pretty lost. She had no clue what any of them were talking about. Probably cause she wasn't allowed out all that much. Just as she contemplates grabbing one of Nishiki's tails she spots someone going over to the cake shop.

Chisaki never ate cause she was hungry. She didn't need food like that, instead she ate mostly when bored or simply cause it tasted good. All this talk about fighting was putting her to sleep so despite being at the bottom of the totem pole rank wise she grabbed both Nishiki's and Shinji's sleeves. "We should be celebrating! Not standing here just talking his ear off. Celebrations need two things to be done right. Cake and booze! Cake shop is right this way so well stop there get a cake, maybe even get Congratulations written on it and then well head to the bar!"

Despite her pulling on their sleeves she knew that unless they allowed her shed have more luck trying to move the kage building. So instead she just held on and leaned back making an over dramatic effort as if she's pulling a mighty weight. She actually thought about her actions after she started and realized Nishiki was definitely rubbing off on her and that she could actually get in a lot of trouble for what she just did. Woops. Too late. She was already committed might as well go all out. "Pleeeeease? I'm hungry..." she begged pitifully and a giant pout appeared on her face trying to at least win Shinji or Nishiki over thinking they mightbe able to sway the Bannin."

The young Jounin nodded, to test his limits. That seemed a good reason, perhaps if their had been more reputable competition in the Taijutsu division Aimi would have been more drawn to test himself in such a way. Shinji couldn’t deny that when it came to Ninjutsu there was none more fearsome than the Mizukage, certainly a challenge of the highest level though it seemed more difficult to properly utilize ninjutsu in such a confined setting as opposed to Taijutsu. The teenage Jinchurriki hardened his eyes as he found himself hanging on Aimi’s words, wondering what his assessment of the Taijutsu competitors would be. Part of him hoped the man would acknowledge him as a worthy competitor though Aimi’s reaction was basically what he had expected. Of course, a man such as Aimi-sama would believe himself above himself. Though they had each been promoted as a result of their performance in the tournament Aimi still outranked him and was quite possibly the most skilled Taijutsu practitioner in the village, surpassing even his father and at the very least being on par with Shiv. That was a match Shinji would love to witness.

Shinjiro felt a heaviness in his heart for a brief moment before his drive to better himself took over. He would become the most skilled Taijutsu practitioner in the village, a shinobi as deadly and valuable as Karagata Shiv and Kaguya Aimi. Achieving the title of Bannin wasn’t as much a goal as simply being able to overcome and defeat those who outranked him, though if the title helped to grant that respect and acknowledgement then so be it. As the ultimate predator, Shinji was always hungry for more. To be second best to any man was simply not acceptable. “I did get that impression” he stated simply as Aimi spoke of holding back in his match against the Mizukage. “It’s not wise to go all out in a tournament after all, too many spectators. I held back a fair bit as well. Can’t be showing off all my secrets” he grinned, knowing that Aimi likely had his own set of hidden skills. “Perhaps one day we’ll get to see what each other is really capable of. And on that day, you’ll have no choice but to acknowledge me as your equal” Shinjiro vowed. He was sure that Aimi currently had a sizable advantage over him but he was becoming more deadly at a staggering rate and he was sure that given a few more years he would be able to close the gap between the two, even despite the progress Aimi continued to make himself.

The young assassin/swordsman’s challenging demeanor relaxed suddenly as Chisaki tugged on his arm. He didn’t budge at first, able to brace himself quite easily to prevent being moved, even when caught somewhat unsuspectingly, for he was always at least partially on guard. He looked at her with a vacant expression before softening his features as he contemplated her celebration plans, cake and booze? Neither particularly appealed to him but he did enjoy sweet foods in small doses, though since becoming familiar with Chisaki it seemed cake was on the agenda every day. But he also knew it was more trouble than it was worth to argue with her. Even without protesting she was already pouting, “Alright, sure” he shrugged, giving Nishiki a slight smile and nod, hoping that the other teenager would go along with it though the Tsukino was a playful sort so he doubted he would be opposed to celebrations. Allowing Chisaki to pull on him and lead the way he would follow behind her, tempted to pick her up again, she was always so slow for someone who insisted on leading him along. “Let’s get one of those chocolate velvet cakes!" He suggested as they approached the store, he could already smell the array of baked goods and could see a few on display and various other goods advertised. This was starting to seem like a good idea after all, though he wasn’t sure how Aimi would feel about all of it. As they entered the store Shinji saw a familiar face, “Oh Mondai, what are you doing here? Slacking off and eating cake is no way to get stronger you know” he teased. The young Dagger showed some promise as a Swordsman, despite injuring the Chunin quite badly in their first encounter several months ago he had persevered and remained dedicated to honing his skill with swords and shields, utilizing uncommon weapon types for a shinobi, though in time he could become a powerful tool for Kirigakure.

Mondai had successfully avoided the group that gathered around the newly announced Bannin, Mondai stepped in the pastry shop and ordered a muffin with two chocolate chip cookies in order to satiate his sweet tooth. Then as soon as he was about to sit down he was interrupted by a familiar voice he tried to avoid but fate had a funny sense of humor. "First of all this is not cake second of all give me a break I barley eat this and I train all the time!" Mondai smiled then stretched out his fist for a fistbump "Hey Shinji how are you doing?" He then turned towards the girl and briefly introduced himself properly as he had learned with the Aisu he had meet a while ago. "Hello I'm Yūgana, Mondai bled for the Karagata and I'm a dagger of the swordsmen striving to reach proper swordsman status just like Shinjiro over there. What brings you all here?" Mondai wondered as it wasn't usual for someone like Shinjiro to spend his time slacking off and eating cake.

Mondai had grown a bit stronger with his long sword and he was slowly getting closer to earning the amount of money to regain a new and improved version of his family shield. Mondai also had a massive twohanded greatsword however it is to heavy for him to properly use in battle needing a massive amount of strength to carry it not only that his fighting wasn't sharpened enough to properly use his greatsword, so that would have to wait. Mondai sat down in a chair that was neatly placed in the shop waiting for his friend to follow and continue the conversation in a more relaxed setting.

Once more Aimi's attention was brought back to the group in the street as Shinji spoke to him again; the newly anointed bannin was only vaguely aware that he was being spoken to at first and as such it took a few seconds for the spirited Genma hosts' words to sink in. The white maned ninja turned to look at Shinji once more and blinked, processing his words and giving them some thought before responding. "Yes, perhaps someday you will catch up to me - if ever I slow down, of course..." he teased, only half serious. Shinji was young - as were the rest of the ninja gathered around him - and had plenty of room to grow. Logically he knew that his own growth must have a limit, but as of yet he saw no end to it in sight. Such was the horizon that was now placed before him.

It wasn't long after he'd spoken that Chisaki, seemingly impatient, interjected and pulled on both Nishiki and Shinji urging them onward towards the sweet shop. Truly she was still young at heart as were they all, truth be told. Even Aimi was prone to flights of fancy such as hers from time to time. Today was not such a day though. The trio began to gravitate towards a shop while Aimi stood where he was unmoving. He smiled, raising his right hand and waving them on. "You guys go ahead. I'm going to walk for a while more. Celebrate, enjoy yourselves! There's a new Bannin in the village, right? Get as many people as you can to come and party with you! I'll see you around."

With that the Kaguya turned and began to walk down the street and into the mist, leaving the small group behind to tend to their sweet-tooths and to have fun in his name. It was strange to him that they would be celebrating in his honor and for him simultaneously. No one had ever had cause to celebrate him or his achievements before. Ranking up from genin to chunin and from chunin to jounin was a fairly common thing. His service to the village was the same as any other ninja's, his successes and failures all part of a larger status quo. Now he was a bannin, and that was a rare thing apparently worth celebrating. He realized that other ninja and even ordinary citizens might be doing the same, if not now then later, all over Kirigakure. The knowledge didn't stir anything positive within Aimi. He walked on and he didn't look back as he vanished into the shroud.

As he walked he began to gravitate towards his home in the Kaguya compound. He didn't intend to go there by any means he just naturally ended up there as if drawn by a magnet. He looked up from the cobblestone ground on which he had been walking and saw the gate that marked the Kaguya home within the village and made his way towards it. As he passed through the threshold and into the courtyard proper he saw an entire gaggle of figures standing who were only momentarily obscured by the thin mist. As he approached closer he saw that they were his fellow clansmen who had gathered before him, young and old, all standing roughly in a semi circular shape as if to embrace him. Aimi stopped and stood quietly looking at his pseudo family and waited. He had a feeling of what was about to happen.

From among them stepped forward perhaps the eldest Kaguya among them old and wrinkled. It was in fact THE Elder, the leader of the clan, Kaguya Izaya. The old man was shorter than Aimi and covered in wrinkles that betrayed his old age but never the less he stood straight and commanded respect from each and every Kaguya. Most of them, including Aimi, had been brought into the mantle of Kaguya while he was still young. It was difficult to imagine any Kaguya being more respected or revered for their prowess with their Kekkei Genkai then he. Izaya stood with his medium length hair pulled back into a bun and his wrinkled brown eyes fixated on Aimi, his long eyebrows looking wispy as they usually did. Aimi looked back at him and bowed his head. "Izaya-senpei," he said. It had been many years since he last trained his Kekkei Genkai with the old man but even now he still held him in high regard.

"Aimi-san," Izaya said, bowing his head not quite so far as Aimi had done. "We've heard the news, and are elated!" Aimi lifted his head and looked at Izaya who had a look on his face of utter pride. "Never in all of my years, or to my knowledge the years of Kirigakure itself, has there ever been a Kaguya who was granted the rank Bannin. We stand before you in marvel of what you have accomplished and we honor you!" With that said Izaya brought his hands together, right hand balled into a fist and left hand cupped over his right, bowed his head and got down on one knee before Aimi. Before he could even register what was happening every other Kaguya behind Izaya was bowing down before him as well in respect.

Aimi was stunned! His breath caught in his throat and it felt as if his lungs had stopped working entirely! Never in his entire life had he seen Izaya humble himself like this to anyone, save perhaps the Mizukage on the rare occasion that he came to visit or summoned Izaya himself, nor did he expect that his entire clan - or most of it anyways, he hadn't made a headcount to see if everyone was there after all - would be showing this level of respect towards him; him who had gone out of his way so many times to do things differently from what his elders like Izaya had told him to do, who had bucked tradition and chosen innovation over tradition. On some level he always assumed that Izaya and anyone else older than him held resentment towards him because of this. To be faced with this amount of praise was simply something he couldn't properly comprehend. He simultaneously couldn't understand it and felt as if he didn't deserve it.

"We are all extremely proud of you! We hope you will continue to do great things in the name of the Kaguya and of Kirigakure!" Izaya proclaimed, raising his head and looking up at Aimi once more. Aimi stood in stunned, numb silence. He had not the faintest idea of what to say.

Aimi decided to leave the group once they had talked a bit and congratulated them which provided Chisaki with the perfect opportunity to round everyone up with zero hassle, dragging Shinji and Nishiki along to the cake shop she had eyed previously.
It was a little sad to lose the person they where celebrating but he had just been promoted after all and as such the young fox was certain he simply had something to do and could even meet back up with them at a later date, allowing the young-uns to get to their own thing with a nice little nod and smile as some delicious sweets awaited them.

Once those remaining entered the store it seemed there was someone else already inside; a dark-skinned, well dressed, young individual who seemed to know Shinji which meant he could easily be added to the group in place of the person who should actually be celebrating.
"Shishishi" Nishiki snickered as the new kid introduced himself, before he himself gave a little bow and replied in a very equal formal manner "Nishiki, bled for the family Muramasa, born of the house Tsukino, Jinchuriki host of Yoshimitsu no Etaigenma the Phantom Beast of Elements. Nice to meet you." he spoke in pristine, elegant tongue before turning back into his more typical mischievous self.
"Soo, I guess you use a sword" the boy then commented, not fully sure what to say but curious about him training for the Seven Swordsmen "I don't have one..." he simply added, somewhat forgetting to mention anything about why they ad come or what they where doing.

Amongst the crowd of Kaguya that rose from their bow of respect for the recently promoted bannin before them was none other than another muscular young man with short white hair that seemed to stand up a few inches on its own. Wearing his traditional sleeveless black shirt and traditional jounin vest, what set him off was the white cloak he wore with the clan symbol embroidered upon the back in red and the sash that hung from the left hip displaying the mark of the Kiri Swordsman. He had pushed with al his might to become a strong shinobi because of the man who stood before the crowd, this man had not always done what he was told but used his strength to forge a path forward for not only himself but those younger clansman like himself.

Hitachi had become the first Kaguya to claim a spot amongst the Kiri Swordsman and bring the prestige that came with it back to his clan, most might have been a bit sour that he was being far outshined now by the accomplishment of Aimi but they would be completely wrong. There was nothing but an unusual happy smile formed upon the blue eyed man's lips as he straighten out his clothing and as the rest of those present relaxed a bit he made his way through the gathering of clansman in order to speak with the man of the hour. 'Aimi...'

Though he had never been close to the man he still viewed him in a very strong light even before the promotion to the rank of bannin today, in his eyes the man was the top swordsman in the entire village and it was a shame that he wouldn't join the group...but the man seemed to only want to continue moving forward where his destiny would take him. "Greetings, Aimi-sama." The pair had only have a few other meeting beside this one but Hitachi still greeted the new bannin with the utmost amount of respect as both hands game together fist in palm with a martial salute. "I must offer my congratulations on your achievement."

A genuine smile still lingered on the man's normally hardened face as he spoke with a strong tone to his clansman, wondering where the man planned to go from here no that he was no longer as restrained to the village as other shinobi were...

Aimi continued to stand frozen even as the rest of the clan gathered before him stood up and began to crowd forward. Izaya, having made his statement and shown his respect, seemed to revert back to his normal, serious, grumpy self as he turned back on the crowd and headed further into the Kaguya compound, likely to go to his room. In reality, though Aimi didn't know it, he was going to inscribe Aimi's name where all Kaguya of note were listed. The rest of his clan crowded around Aimi and reached out to touch him, to congratulate him, to express how they were proud, how they wanted to be like him. A seemingly endless torrent of congratulations, of blessings, of cheer from the fiercest clan in all of Kirigakure, the executioners of the Kamazaiwa. The display was comical in a way.

Notable among them all though was Hitatchi who made his way forward and clasped his hands together to show his respect to the newly promoted swordsman. Aimi had always had a small fondness for Hitatchi in the years that they'd known each other. Growing up, before their paths began to diverge, Aimi would joke (hope) that they were brothers because of their shared blue eyes. Of course in time he'd given up such notions and accepted the reality of their clan, but the two had trained together on more than one occasion and Aimi had been among the first to congratulate Hitatchi for becoming a member of the Seven Swordsman when that had come to pass. "Hitatchi. Thank you... I... I really don't see much of the point of all this, truth be told," he said as the other Kaguya continued to reach out and touch him, his shoulders, his arms, his chest, his hands. "It's not as if I've suddenly become Yumara Kaguya or anything!" he said, naming the one and only Kaguya Mizukage that the village has ever had. As both a former Mizukage and the Jinchuriki of the Basics Genma, who now resided within Nishiki, no Kaguya in the history of the entire clan had earned as much prestige as she and thus every Kaguya knew her name. In Aimi's case, she was perhaps the only Mizukage that he could name without having to seriously think about it.

"Perhaps not," Hitatchi said. "But your achievement should be recognized all the same. Between you, me, and the former Mizukage Yumara Kaguya, as you named, a Kaguya has been in every position of power and authority that can be had within Kirigakure. Who now can deny the Kaguya superiority among other clans, eh?" he asked jokingly, with a smile on his face. Often times the discussion of which clan was superior to who came up and Aimi, like Hitatchi, like any Kaguya worth their salt really, had always maintained that the Kaguya had no equal within the village. The joke, of course, was that every other clan felt the same way!

"Yes... I suppose you're right," Aimi said in a bit of a haze as he realized that what Hitatchi said was true. "I really have made history today, haven't I?" he asked and suddenly realizing that it was true. Never before had a Kaguya, in the entire history of the village, been granted the rank of bannin before. In the history of the entire clan, technically speaking by simple rank alone, his prestige was now outdone only by Yumara herself! And since she was long dead, that meant he stood on a pedestal all his own. The most honored Kaguya in living memory...

The weight of that realization suddenly felt too much for Aimi. Aimi Kaguya, who despite having stood out as much as possible often went ignored beyond sheer recognition of ability because his deeds simply were not great in the grand scheme of things. It only just occurred to him that with his new rank and prestige would come expectation. He stood high above all other shinobi in the village now except for the Mizukage, and with that position came the requirement to do great things. He couldn't just retire, call it a day, do no more - his services had only just begun! And now that he was a bannin, those services were expected to be truly great, truly worthy of history - or so he imagined. His imagination got the best of him and, feeling overwhelmed all of the sudden, he took several steps back and held his arms out to try and ward off the other members of his clan from coming forward.

"Everyone, if you'll please excuse me I... I need some time alone. To rest. It's been a long day, and this is all so much... Excuse me," he stated, bowing his head and pushing his way through the crowd as he strode towards his apartment and didn't look back. His long white hair whipped around corners as he turned them and his cloak did the same. Coming to his door he opened it up, stepped inside, and shut it quickly so as to detach himself from the world outside. He stood with his back against the door and his eyes staring off into dim nothingness. He now stood alone with nothing but possibility in front of him, and the question: How would he leave his mark on history?

"Talk later cake first, Nishiki-Sama!" She groaned at his attempt at small talk with the stranger not even giving the man a second glance as she was on a quest for sweets. "Three of my usual please!" Bakers were without a doubt one of the few people she'd never think of killing after all if the bakers died who'd make her delicious cake? She shoved the cash on the counter over paying by a small amount.

Once the order was in she'd turn around and finally pay attention to the person Nishiki had started to talk to. He'd said he was training to be a swordsman like Shinji but honestly he didn't really leave much of an impression on her. After all, Nishiki was a trouble maker type and Shinji was the wild bad boy. Compared to them the young man seemed a little lack luster to say the least. "Ugh so formal..." She'd sigh quietly before properly introducing herself. "Chisaki, bled for the Muramasa, born of the clan Toukai."

The teenage Karagata smirked beneath his brown cloth mask that seemed to blend in with the flowing scarf he wore. His hood was pulled back at least, revealing his medium length honey brown hair and his vibrant lime green eyes. Casually and without hesitation he reached out to reciprocate the fist bump. Though he wouldn’t admit it he was growing to like Mondai. “Fine, but if you haven’t gotten stronger, the next time we train I’ll break your leg” he threatened lightly. “I’m good I guess” he muttered after a moment’s consideration, stepping back as his companions introduced themselves to each other. It was unusual for him to hang out in a group like this, he had never had more than one friend at a time before and now here he had three and that wasn’t even including his cousin Yuuto. He observed the two young men, feeling proud to consider them each friends. Nishiki was a Jinchuuriki like him, famous and admired by most and Mondai though only a dagger was still affiliated with the legendary seven swordsmen of the mist, an admirable position. Lastly there was Chisaki, the young woman whom he was particularly fond of. He wondered how his friends would get along with her, Nishiki at least was already familiar, apparently being her commanding officer on a recent mission and given both of their whimsical natures it seemed obvious they would get along.

Shinji watched Chisaki for a moment, a gentleness to his gaze as she went to order her cake. He had intended to treat himself to some cake though in the moment he realized he didn’t really have any desire to order any. “Mondai fights much more defensively than I do, even uses a shield usually or have you given it up in favor of that longsword you’ve been practicing with?” he wondered. He had decided to approach Mondai’s style with more of an open mind than before, after all any style that differed from what one was familiar with would seem unusual at first but that didn’t mean it wasn’t useful if one could perfect it. Shortly after Chisaki had returned after placing her order, three pieces? It didn’t really surprise him, though perhaps he could get a few bites of her cake rather than order his own. A full piece would likely be too much for him anyway, for someone who almost never consumed sugar aside from what was naturally in fruits anything like cake was especially rich and overwhelming to his taste.

"Course I've gotten stronger but takes a little bit but you'll see soon enough!" He then greeted Shinjiro's friend that dragged him along but realized she disliked the formal so Mondai loosened up and revealed his more lowborn but just by a small margin having a certain rhythm when he spoke. "Aight then we can skip the formalities!" He then sat down at the table and talked with the two shinobi reflecting back on his battle with Chiane as Shinjiro talked about his fighting style and asked about his longsword training. Mondai sighed in disappointment before explaining his sudden shift of weaponry. "Well, I would love to have my shield back the problem is that I can't it got split in half by Chiane and I'm currently spending my time training with the longsword not only to fill up my arsenal but I was left kind of useless I had little to no experience with the longsword but I have learned how to properly handle it now! I haven't talked to my father about it but I can only imagine the worst it was our family shield you see?"

He then turned to Chisaki and asked her about her being curious since this was the first time they have met and he also wanted to avoid going into that conversation. "So Chisaki how do you fight?" While he caught off guard by the sudden socialization he had managed to stave it off, being a lot more comfortable then he was when he first saw them in the distance.

Nishiki was intrigued by the young, dark-skinned boy who seemed to be training under the seven swordsmen but he was pulled away by his new amorphous underling as she exclaimed that cakes should come first. Thus the young fox turned to the counter and looked upon all the delicious pastries, patisseries, cakes and other delights with a twinkling gaze.

Though he wasn't sure what he wanted, if any at all, the Tsukino's mouth started to water and his stomach beckoned as he looked upon all the different sweets now with his twitchy hands and grinning face pressed against the glass very much like an annoying child. With indecisive excitement building the fox's five tails started to twist, twurl and swish about as if they had a mind of their own.

With his thoughts turned to food, Nishiki didn't pay full attention to the others and only heard small slithers about a broken shield and something defensive or whatever but after a good while the ire of the workers behind the counter caught his attention and he finally picked a couple delicious delights and turned to face the group once again.

The special jounin turned and faced the group a bit awkwardly as a big grin formed on his face, cakes in hand ready to eat but feeling uncertain of what was next but he soon realised the sword kid had sat down and so he followed suit; with a big hop and a leap Nishiki grabbed a chair and sat in it in a very eccentric manner, assuming one could even call it sitting, as he had his feet up on the seat with his knees up towards his chin though his tails could flow freely behind him.

Once the boy had positioned himself he began munching down and glanced between everyone as he didn't want to speak with a full mouth and simply awaited for what was said next for the time being.

Chisaki rolled her eyes as the boys started talking about fighting. Of course. What else would they talk about? Who's sword is bigger? She sat next to Nishiki-sama while fidgeting waiting for her order. When the conversation moved from Mondai's shield problems to her fighting style she could help but let out a sadistic laugh all while giving Shinji a knowing look.

"Hmmm lets just say I play with my food."

She'd smile evilly and wonder what the man would think of that? Better yet what would he think if he knew she meant it literally? As she was basking in the glow of her own witty reply the servers brought out three full trays of cakes. Each tray had eight slices, with each slice being a different flavor. Her eyes went wide and she licked her lips wiggling in her seat.

"Finally, something more than just a small snack."

With that said she stopped focusing on the conversation and began to dig in to a chocolate raspberry cake. As she nommed away she'd get a devious thought and would swipe her finger in some icing left on the tray. She'd slowly suck the icing off her finger, her cheeks hollowing as she slowly pulled it out of her mouth.

"~Mmmm♪ so good. Anyone else want a taste?"

She'd ask at no one in particular, simply wiping up another scoop of icing on the same finger and holding it out for anyone daring enough to take it.

Aimi sat on the edge of his bed, a scroll in his hands, closed, his head hung low as he stared. His mind was still racing with thoughts but they had slowed down since coming into the quiet of his apartment and away from the village outside, his colleges, his clansman. Now that he was by himself he had time to think things through at a more reasonable pace: this was what he thought of.

History. His impact on the village. His newly gained freedom - freedom itself! He had never been a slave. Not in title or function anyways. He served a similar purpose though, as did all shinobi within Kirigakure. They were tools, weapons, arrows that could be notched and sent flying at a word. They were generally not allowed to leave the confines of the mist covered village unless on an assignment, and once that assignment was done all ninja were expected to return. And they always did. Now, however, the Kaguya found himself in a position of not needing to return. In fact he held no obligation here whatsoever because of his rank. He could build or buy a house outside of the village, outside of Water Country if he wanted to. He only had to return if the Mizukage himself ever directly summoned him. It was a reality that he never fully expected to be true, and yet...

He turned the scroll in his hands slowly, looking it over with his sharp eyes. The scroll was some what damaged around the edges, a sign of being opened and closed many times and being put into storage that was less than ideal. The scroll was given a home underneath Aimi's bed, beneath a particular floorboard close to the back that had a lock on it made of bone that he himself created many, many years ago. The lock was designed in such a way that only he, or another Kaguya technically, could open it with the lock picking jutsu of the clan - that is to say, he bone required bone to open. Aimi had always felt safe keeping the scroll there because he knew that he would be the only one to ever get past the lock, that if anyone else should tamper with the contents under the floor they would have to break the lock which was designed to fall to pieces if significant force was placed upon it. This way he would always know if it had been tampered with. What was on the scroll was worth protecting, after all.

Written on the roll of paper was jutsu formula; for napalm ninjutsu. Aimi's own invention that he had spent several years practicing, perfecting. The entire catalog of his experimentation with chakra, his successful jutsu, his failures, were all there written on that small scroll in very small print. Long before he gained the rank of Bannin Aimi assumed that this would be his lifetime achievement... and perhaps it still could be. He thought about the knowledge he had kept to himself for the better part of the last decade and all the work he had put into it. He thought of the hours of training in solitude out over the ocean whenever he found a chance to sneak away. Kasai expected great things of him with the year he had to wander the world as he pleased... perhaps this would be the fruits of his labors...?

The Kaguya clenched the scroll between his fingers and scowled. No, not this. Not these jutsu. Not this style. He had worked on this for himself and himself alone. He'd often wondered about what would happen if the scroll was ever discovered, had invented excuses and lies in his mind for that eventuality which ultimately had never come. The scroll was safe, in his hands, in his apartment, alone with him. He would not give it up for anything. He'd never even gotten the chance to use it outside of practice, so why should he give up his creation to the village who would teach it to others who would use it for... whatever the village wanted.

Aimi stood up from his bed and turned towards his bedroom window. He walked over to it and opened it up to the misty world outside. He looked out at the vague shadows that made up the village from where he was standing and thought back on the group who had congregated around him when he was walking in the street. They were all younger than he was and excited at the idea of a new Bannin. He had left them to go celebrate and now found himself thinking of them. What were they doing now? What would they do once he was gone? Would any of them use napalm if he offered it to them...?

The answer was no, because no one but he would know of this.

Without any further hesitation Aimi threw the scroll out of the window and into the fog before bringing his middle finger and thumb together and snapping, channeling katon chakra as he did. The old scroll ignited in a burst of flames that burned bright and hot as it sailed through the air and landed far away on the ground below, a burning ember to Aimi's eyes that was turning to ash even before it hit the ground. It wouldn't be long before the whole thing was burned away, but to make sure he would go check on it in a few minutes after destroying the lock under his bed. He turned his back on the window and closed it before walking towards his front door. Aside from making certain that the scroll had been incinerated, there was one other thing he had yet to do.

The skilled assassin and swordsman nodded slowly at Mondai’s confidence. Suitable, if he was continuing to put in effort. Mondai needed to excel, same with Yuuto and Ryu. The seven swordsmen were in desperate need of powerful shinobi and Shinji wanted to make sure any new recruits were up to standard. He lamented not for the first time that Aimi was too prideful and independent to join the organization. Since Kuro’s death Shinji felt responsible for filling the ranks of the swordsmen as the man who had recruited him had aimed to do. “That’s right, I think you mentioned that before…make the most of the longsword then. I look forward to seeing you cleave our enemies in two. You’ll need a lot more strength and quick reactions so you can keep others from getting too close.” He stated. He knew Mondai would surely be aware of this already but coming from Shinji this added authority and pressure was akin to an order. He demanded that he be proficient and physically capable or else he had no use as a dagger of the seven swordsmen and despite coming to get along with the young man Shinji wouldn’t hesitate to discard him if he became a liability.

As Nishiki took a seat across from Mondai, Shinjiro sat beside the young dagger on his left, the sheaths of his crossed swords on his back just extending past either side of the chair. That left only Chisaki who sat directly opposite of Shinji and next to the fox-like Jinchuuriki. The teenage Karagata smirked beneath the cloth mask that covered the lower half of his face. He met Chisaki’s gaze, appreciating her answer, the young woman certainly was impressive in her abilities and the boldness of her personality was undeniably attractive. “Chisaki is a woman of many talents, you’d be wise to keep on her good side” he advised flatly though his eyes remained vibrant and alive, not taking them off the woman in question for even a moment. At least not until the cakes arrived, he let out a short huff of air, bemused at just how much she loved her sweets. Even if he never got full he simply couldn’t stand to eat that much sugar, Shinji was very much a carnivore, typically only enjoying food in large quantities when it was raw and fresh. Other than that he ate only to sustain himself, always healthy with the occasional exception of trying common indulgences for the sake of experiencing some sense of normalcy that had long been withheld from him.

He had to admit that the chocolate raspberry cake looked good, it had been the one he had suggested and considered trying after all, before he had changed his mind. A lifetime of strict dieting and harsh punishments made the idea of having a full piece of cake simply unbearable. He knew rationally that given his status now he could do nearly anything he wanted but still he held back. For now he could enjoy watching Chisaki’s delight, the simple very human and normal qualities of girl he cared about; someone like him, a weapon and in a way a monster enjoying these moments of innocent happiness even if he hadn’t quite figured that out for himself. The muscular young Jinchuuriki was bold by nature, quick to act and sure of his actions. And so when Chisaki offered her finger, lathered in cake he did not hesitate, lowering his mask and grabbing her wrist swiftly and firmly before advancing more slowly and tasting the icing off of her finger, sparing not a speck of sugar as he ensured he got it all in one committed motion. Unfortunately, it was mostly icing and so he got only a rush of sweetness rather than the flavors of the cake itself but it was still worth it. It was no secret that he was attracted to Chisaki and desired her, at least he was sure she knew that.

"Oh! my sword arm has gotten quite good Shinji! I trained like an animal! I look forward to seeing you, see me, cleave enemies in half! just need to work on the offense a bit and I should be good to go" He gestured a thumbs up and seemed excited and proud of his newfound skills. He then asked his question to Chisaki, however, her response was quite vague leaving him more curious, however 'his opinion on playing with ones food' was mixed on one hand it could be fun if it served a purpose like intimidation or extracting information however it could horribly backfire if they get a swollen head and then become the food that is played with. "While I do love a bit of trash-talking and taunting too much and it can get you swelled head! You could end up being the food that is played with."

He found Shinjiro's comment interesting if Shinjiro respected her abilities she must be dangerous. He then watched awkwardly as Shinjiro devoured her finger in front of everyone So that's why you praised her so much... I mean you could have just taken a bite out of her plate come on... Mondai raised his eyebrows and then called it out this exchange in an obvious manner. "Yeah... Real subtle mate... Annnnyyyyyways what you got planned for today other than cake? A New Bannin has been crowned surely something must be going on?" He asked curiously wondering what they would do after eating their cakes and talking to each other. Maybe they would hang out together or go home after this? " And what about you silly rabbit, you haven't said anything?" He looked at the fox that sat on his chair in a curious manner.

Nishiki continued chomping away at his couple of cakes as he listened to how Shinji and this Mondai person knew each other and how they needed to get stronger, becoming quite intrigued over their use of swords but especially one capable of easily cleaving someone in half with such raw power and yet he still could not imagine using one himself despite seeing so many people that had done so around him.

As he watched and listened the boy threw an odd glance over to Chisaki, whom was being praised greatly, as she threw out the possibility of sharing the icing on her finger but then his face turned into a sickly grimace as he swiftly turned to face his fellow Jinchuuirki as he actually went and sucked her finger dry.
The thought of what was happening before him was rather grotesque and that was without thinking of how badly mannered they were behaving eating at a table, even if it was just at some bakery, as such Nishiki pulled his eyes away and looked directly down at the table where his last cake remaned.

Weirded out thoughts of disgust swirled around the young fox's mind as his treat seemed to warp for a moment, his stomach wondering if it could still digest what it saw for a few moments before the new guy brought the conversation back to Aimi's new rank and remarked on how Nishiki was some silly rabbit.
"W-what... Huh? Wait I'm not a rabbit" he spoke up somewhat dazed and confused, tilting his head as he did so.
"We Tsukino are foxes, kitsune, don't forget that" he awkwardly stated with a sly, cutely menacing stare, with what was likely a joke wooshing over his head in that moment thanks to the current situation.
"Oh, actually, speaking of Aimi-sama" his thoughts cleared he picked up on what was said previous and curiosity began to fill him once more.
"I wonder where he went?" he pondered, his ears twitching as his right index finger poked his lips.
"Maybe we can find him again after this... Oh, you know, I believe he has like over one hundred swords or something now" his mind wandered a bit as he also thought of all the sword talk that was going on, though there wasn't any certainty to where such a point even lead, his hand swiping up his final cake and slamming the hole thing in his mouth in excitement as he seemed to forget how gross it looked a moment ago.

"So stupid" a quiet mocking voice rumbled within Nishiki's head as the beast within piped up, clearly done with whatever this gathering was and even more done with his cage's own words so much so one might imagine it rolling its eyes ten times over if it had any to be seen.
"Excuse me?" the jinchuuriki spoke inwardly within his mind but Yoshimitsu simply turned away with a scoff, chuckling to himself at just how stupid and beneath him it all was.
"That's right" Nishiki tried to mock back, his physical face probably twitching with signs of his internal mocking stare for a brief second.

She didn't react much to Shinji sucking the icing off her finger. She kinda expected it to be honest. She was more curious as to how Nishiki-sama and Mondai would react to her suggestion. Unfortunately for her, Shinji acted to quickly for her to gauge their reactions to her offer. If anything she was actually a little irritated.

However, this wasn't really expressed outwardly as she simply shrugged and returned to her cakes. In fact she was practically inhaling them. Mind you each tray was loaded with cake and in short time she had finished off the first without even a slight bump in her stomach.

"I didn't have any plans, but what more do you need in life besides cake?"

She spoke with a smile in her face as she started on the second tray happily wiggling in her seat. She'd glance around as the others talked though giving Shinji less attention than Mondai and Nishiki.

She even let out a cute giggle, when Mondai called Nishiki-sama a rabbit. She expected him to be a little drama queen about it and wasn't disappointed. His cute stare was adorable and she couldn't help but reach to touch one of his fluffy tails without thinking.

As the conversation went back to Aimi, Chisaki once again wondered if there was something between Nishiki and him. Especially with Nishiki bragging about him in the way he was. Yep, she could totally see it. And with Aimi's apparent broodiness and Nishiki's flamboyant personality there was no need to question who played which role.

Only a few minutes after Aimi had burned the scroll he was standing outside of his parents' house. He knocked on the door and waited for an answer that came only a moment or two later. His mother opened the door and, upon seeing her son, broke out into a smile. "Oh, Aimi! We weren't expecting you, please, come in! Your father is home and awake, he'll be delighted!" she said cheerfully. She was always so happy to see her son. Aimi smiled back and stepped inside at his mothers' behest and headed towards the table that was the centerpiece of her simple cabin she had to call a home. His father was sitting at the table already and he smiled upon seeing his son. "Aimi..." he sighed, moving to stand up and greet his son.

"That's alright, dad, don't get up," Aimi said, holding his hand up gently. His father nodded and relaxed again. For an instant, the Kaguya wondered if his father had only done as he'd said because he was a ninja. Slaves were just like everyone else in that regard; they gave shinobi due respect and often treated them like celebrities. It had never occurred to the bannin that his father, a slave, might also treat him with this same... 'respect'. In fact it only just occurred to him because of his new rank as of today. He brushed the unpleasant thought from his mind and took a seat opposite his father.

"Would you like something to eat? I'm sure I could fix something in no time at all. I recently went to the market and got some vegetables, so-"

"No, no, just... sit down. Sit down, I want to talk with you," he said, looking to her and beckoning her to join them. His father looked at him with a bit of confusion. His mother looked to his father before looking back to Aimi. "Oh... alright," she said softly as she moved towards the table and sat down next to her husband. She rested her hand on the table and the ninja's father almost reflexively moved up to grab onto her hand. Aimi watched this happen with a distant curiosity. He understood it as a gesture of affection, but had never received such a gesture himself. He briefly wondered how many times the two of them had held hands over the years...

The shirtless ninja brought his hands up and placed them palm up on the table. He looked to his parents and they looked to him before silently reaching out and taking his hands, one each. "Aimi, is something wrong?" his father asked bravely.

"No, no nothing's wrong... it's just that... well, it's the opposite, I..." Aimi replied, struggling to find the words that he knew needed to be said. He cast his eyes down towards the table and tried to gather himself. He knew that if these weren't his parents, if they were just some other ninja, or even a merchant that he visited often enough that this would be much easier to do. But because they were his parents that made it more difficult, and yet he did not fully understand why.

He looked back up from the table and put on a soft smile. "I was promoted today," he said simply.

"Promoted?" asked his mother.

"I don't understand, I thought you were a jounin...?" his father inquired, furrowing his brow. The statement made Aimi realize that neither of them would have known, could have known, what a bannin was. It wasn't exactly a common rank to achieve...

"I was, but I'm not anymore. I'm a bannin now, it's... it's a step below the Mizukage," he explained in as few words as he could manage. His parents smiled and looked at each other. His father squeezed his hand.

"Oh my goodness Aimi! Right below the MIzukage? Does that mean you'll be working with him directly? Like a personal body guard?" she asked excitedly, really unsure of what it was she was asking at all. Shinobi were treated like celebrities, but that didn't mean that your average person knew exactly what it meant to be a shinobi. The propoganda was that they were weapons for the village, mighty and fierce, and of course everyone knew that the more sadistic of their lot would come to the slums to kill and torment as they pleased for practice, for sport, for pleasure. That didn't paint the full picture though, and for a bannin that picture was even larger.

Aimi was silent. His parents didn't take long in figuring out there was something that he wasn't telling them. Smiles fell and concern crept back into the room. "Aimi...?" she asked quietly.

"...I'm going away for a while," he said, breaking the silence. "I'm leaving the village and going out into the world. I could tell you that the Mizukage ordered me to do so, and that wouldn't be a lie, but... the truth... the truth is that I want to go. I want to get out of here and see and learn and..." he trailed off, holding back from unloading on his parents all of his concerns and thought and feelings. They wouldn't understand anymore than he understood why it was so hard to say all of this to them. "And... I won't be back, for a while. I don't know how long exactly but... a while."

Aimi squeezed his parents' hands gently and looked at the two of them and put on a false smile of encouragement. "I'm a bannin now, and even before that people knew not to come and bother you guys because of me but, well, I have more pull now and I'm going to make sure that while I'm gone, nothing is going to happen to you. Even more than before. Before I go."

"Aimi I don't understand... it sounds like you're going to be away for a long time," his mother said, her voice cracking slightly and a sad laugh escaping her throat for a moment. "And it feels like we've only just been reunited after so long..." Aimi's father let go of his sons' hand and placed it onto his wife's shoulder, his other hand squeezing hers now. He looked at Aimi in a sort of quizzical way, like he was trying to figure out the meaning of his sons' words. Aimi had no real answers for him.

"I'll be back, I promise," he said. "Nothing out in the world can hurt me. I just... have... an opportunity that few ever get in this village. I have to take it, I..." He trailed off again and looked at the sad expression on his mother's face, the concern on his father's. He pulled his hand away from his mom's and stood up from the table.

"I have to go."

The animalistic young Jounin smirked a little as he noticed Nishiki get shy from awkwardness. He enjoyed provoking reactions in others, observing the way they reacted to various situations. Admittedly though Shinji was a little disappointed by how quiet Chisaki was, he liked being chastised by her. Something about the way she playfully scolded him or teased him was a connection that he craved. Even if she was properly angry, he would likely would have found it enjoyable, especially if she tried to hurt him. He sat back in his chair; expression blank as he considered that perhaps Chisaki didn’t like public displays of affection. That was fine by him, he didn’t own her and had no desire to commit himself to one person anyway. Mondai asked about what else they would do and Shinji considered for a moment what he actually enjoyed, mostly he just trained and killed. Occasionally he would enjoy festivals and recently he had begun to realize more physical attractions, what else was there really? “I wouldn’t mind getting some real food, meat and lots of it. Then a good soak at a bathhouse, after all Nishiki and I were recently promoted too” he pointed out.

It was almost sickening watching Chisaki devour several pounds of cake, though he supposed it wasn’t that much different than when he gorged on meat. Shinji perked up slightly as Nishiki spoke of Aimi, “Yeah, he just kind of wandered off, so lame!” he sighed, leaning forward to rest his head on his hand, elbow propped against the table. He really did want to fight him again. The fact that he had been able to fight off Shinji’s entire family and even hold his own against the Mizukage. It pissed him off but also motivated him. Such arrogance and power, he wanted it for himself, to prove that his family’s methods weren’t in vein. He would surpass that Kaguya and show Aimi what it felt like to have one’s pride shattered. The swordsman’s head shifted, “One hundred swords?” he questioned, clearly that struck recognition in the young prodigy. ‘Could that be? That guy from Fur country, Fuhen. I wonder if Aimi picked up his style of kenjutsu’ he considered, recalling the brief match he had witnessed between the two when he had stalked them and been gathering intel on anyone that seemed noteworthy at that event. Shinji sighed again, “Dammit, now I just want to fight him” he grumbled, closing his eyes and scrunching his face as his right hand tensed.

It seemed like Mondai's teasing had worked really getting to the foxy Shinobi so much so he gave him a quick explanation of the clan and abilities. " Whatever you say dog!" Mondai said again he hoped it would work a second time hopefully Nishiki wouldn't catch on that he was purposefully annoying him. "Nah I think Aimi would like to be left alone Imagine how many people must be on him because of the whole Bannin thing." Mondai then turned to Shinjiro while snapping then pointing his fingers directly at him. "But I will say the bathhouse sounds like a nice idea! Anyone else that agrees? Cause I vote bathhouse!"

He heard Shinjiro say that he and Nishiki were recently promoted and it discouraged him yet at the same time gave him the motivation to get stronger. Already promoted? This dude's talent is Insane... How long ago was it since he kicked my ass? And already? I really need to start picking up the pace to catch up to these fools! How am I supposed to be the greatest Seven Swordsmen ever if he is already this far ahead?" A smirk and a gaze of pure motivation and respect would grow Mondai's face. One that would instantly be noticed by Shinjiro if he looked into Mondai's eyes. Mondai rose from his chair and pointed to the exit. "Well there is no point in wasting time! Let's go!" he then waved the store clerk and baker goodbye. Motivation filled his spirit today he would enjoy his time but tomorrow would be the day he would start catching up less he is left behind and he was not letting that happen!

It seemed Chisaki wanted more cakes but Shinji wanted some meat which were quite different, though eating meat after cake would be quite weird and improper but the bathhouse suggestion could be a fun idea. Nishiki pondered for a moment as Mondai seemed to pile onto said idea, calling the fox a dog or maybe he did it wasn't quite clear to the boy since he knew some people seemed to just say that and so his eyes simply squinted a little as he glanced at the kid for a second.
"Suure... I suppose going to the bathhouse will be great" he replied as he tried to suss out the new guy and what he said.

Then Mondai got up and called for everyone to come and so Nishiki whipped out a napkin like magic from somewhere within his kimono wiped down his face and hands, then leapt completely across the table towards the exit and turned to the others.
"Bathhouse!" he yelled in excitement, his hands out before him in full claw mode and with his black rods clearly poking out of his sleeves as he made a silly grin.
Then with a quick nod the Tsukino turned and walked outside whereupon doing so he looked around, not entirely sure which way they would be going he then decided to wait for the others but as he did he started think more on the words the sword trainee had said and it made him think he needed to dish out some kind of prank to get him back.

"Shishishishi" the Special Jounin quietly snickered to himself in front of the bakery as his devious mind went to work on many possibilities in order to get his new companion and maybe even the others.

As the others were all excited for the bathhouse Chisaki pondered. Usually it was men peeping on girls... So what if she reversed the tables and went in the mens bath? Obviously as a male though not as a her current form; a certain someone in their group would certainly have a nosebleed and die. She gets up from her seat and stretches.

As her arms go up her body rapidly morphs, long hair receding, her height increasing. Her black jacket was traded for a white one and the overall style of clothing went from badass princess to playboy womanizer. To Shinji's poor luck the pair of white rabbits on her chest he seemed so fond of vanished as well sinking down to be replaced with a flat and firm muscles. As his arms came down Chisaki smiled at the others, his deviant and playful eyes full of mischief.

"Come on slowpokes lets go!!!!"

He called out in a smooth tenor voice as he raced ahead with Nishiki-sama pulling ahead of the others. His eyes continued to watch the others burning with curiosity as to what male behavior typically was like and what theyd think of his new form. He wondered if Shinji would still find him pretty or if having an elephant between his legs as well would scare him off.

"You know I think you're right; a trip to a bathhouse does sound nice," came the voice of the recently promoted bannin from just a short ways down the street from where the others were exiting. Aimi came walking up through the mist towards the group of four who had encountered him before as if he had been walking with them all along. In truth, he had only a couple of minutes ago been at his parents' shack in the slums, wishing them well and telling them his goodbyes. The visit had been an... unpleasant one, but somehow it was freeing as well. Once again he felt good. He was promoted, free to leave the village, his secret scroll of napalm ninjutsu was burned to ash, ground beneath his foot and swept away in the wind, and his parents' shack was protected by a small army of skeletal clones. He'd left after making the clones and flown back into the village, back towards where he had last seen the group of younger ninja and, upon seeing Nishiki bolt out of the restaurant he landed and made his way over to them, a small smile on his face.

Approaching the four of them the bare chested bannin looked from one to the other, pausing momentarily on the newest member of the posse to him that he no longer recognized. He racked his brain and tried to think of who it was he was looking at, and he could have sworn that there was a girl with them before... He quickly gave up on the pursuit though, chalking it up to his bad memory when it came to people he didn't really have reason to care about. "If we're all going together, just us boys, I think I know just the place. Haven't been there for a while but uh, I have a feeling that I'll be able to get us all in there for free!"

The smile widened on his face as he turned his head from one to the next and he found himself pausing once again as he looked a bit closer at Shinji. He looked tense and wound up, like something was on his mind though the Kaguya couldn't hazard a guess as to what exactly that would be. "Maybe I'll have them give Shinji here a happy ending, so he can wind down a bit," he joked, smirking at the young jinchuriki before nodding his head. "Come on, I'll lead the way!" With that Aimi began to stroll down the street towards their destination. He seemed more focused now than he had before, less distracted by thoughts and more playful in the moment. His mood at improved it seemed, and that could only be a good thing right?

The teenage swordsman stood and stretched as the other boys seemed eager to jump on the idea of going to the bathhouse, “Alright, that settles it then” he affirmed. He could get some food on the way, there were sure to be a few stands around as they passed through town. He had to admit he was excited to eat and properly relax, he hoped Chisaki would tag along, certainly there was more of her he wanted to see, though with her abilities he knew she would come up with something to keep teasing him. She wasn’t easy that was certain, and it seemed to work, for no other woman had his attention like she did. It probably helped that she was something of an oddity like himself and each came from powerful and well-respected families.

He smirked at Nishiki’s antics, the fellow Jinchuuriki certainly was lively and entertaining. So too did he notice the look of respect and determination in Mondai’s eyes before he went off after Nishiki. Shinji nodded only slightly, accepting the Daggers ambition as genuine. He had the potential to become strong and the motivation, Shinjiro hoped he would be able to reach his goals though he remained grounded to the fact that he would likely die young before ever achieving greatness, such was often the case. When Chisaki stretched he found his eyes on her chest, glancing hungrily though attempting to not be too obvious as he slowly moved away from the table, waiting to walk alongside her. However surely enough she was intent on messing with him and perhaps the others as she transformed into a male figure. Shinjiro assessed the new form with a somewhat disappointed, skeptical look, though as she ran off, catching up to Nishiki and pulling ahead of Mondai, Shinji looked over the new form from behind. He wasn’t as curvy or visually appealing as Chisaki’s female form, but it was still her on the inside and even a male body had its available pleasures, he could work with that. Shrugging, Shinji tilted his head and smirked, considering being intimate with a male and realizing he wasn’t inherently opposed to it.

The others had nearly made it to the door and Shinji had yet to move from next to the table though as the door was pushed open and Nishiki and Chisaki placed their first step outside the group would feel a sudden breeze and see Shinji standing a few feet ahead of them, a little off the side, hands casually in his pockets. He looked up at them, his expression blank, almost bored as if he had been waiting a while. Mondai would exit the building before the door had a chance to fully close and the group would be ready to depart. “Finally” he groaned, only now smirking slightly. The group began to walk and Shinji moved next to Chisaki, leaning in and grabbing her/his butt lightly as Aimi suddenly called out from a little ways down the street. “I like your other form better but I’d still fuck you” he whispered, hoping the others would be distracted enough by Aimi’s sudden appearance not to notice. With that out of the way Shinji would act like nothing had happened or been said between him and Chisaki, moving ahead of her to greet Aimi. “Good to have you back Aimi-Sama” he greeted politely though evidently his posture and eyes naturally remained guarded, always sizing the Bannin up and searching for weaknesses that could be exploited. He snorted a little at the mention of a happy ending. Was the tension, both sexual and confrontational that obvious? Perhaps he would have been embarrassed or awkward about such a statement a few months ago but now that he had experienced sex he craved it as much as he longed for combat. Truthfully if such a service was available, he just might partake, though he wondered what Chisaki thought of that idea. He had no idea what the two of them were, it was an awkward situation where he wanted her but wasn’t sure to what extent and he wasn’t sure what she thought of him. They had kissed a little over a month ago but hadn’t been around each other much since due to Shinji only just returning from Star Country and then a fairly lengthy mission following that. He decided not to comment, less annoy Chisaki more than he already may have.

As Mondai stepped out of the Café he turned around to check on the others and witnessed Chisaki molding into a man which he did not appreciate since they would be going to a bathhouse naked.... together... "Revert right this second! Get that shit outta here you ain't bathing with us!" If it was another male he would not have a problem in fact it was expected. The problem was that it was originally a woman that made him uncomfortable almost as if someone was peeping on him from a doorknob and he could tell that someone was watching. Which also made him think of a certain double standard. He imagined if they were all women and a man just morphed into a woman to get into the bathhouse together with Mondai and the crew again naked... Mondai than thought about Shinjiro's reaction to her morphing into a male, it was clear that he had an infatuation for her... Would that change with her being 'his'? Then Aimi came in the picture to join in and he mentioned something about Shinjiro receiving a happy ending which was funny but also disgusted Mondai at the thought of Shinji's face full of pleasure while releasing certain fluids. The newly Bannin also mentioned all of them being boys which Mondai wasn't gonna let slide while he was no snitch as they would call it in the slums Mondai felt that this was allowed to reveal. "ONE OF US IS NOT A BOY!" He hoped Aimi would understand or at least ask questions as to what he meant! Either way, they were bathing but if he could get a peeping Jane out of there he would be more than happy.
