History the Shizukana are know as the great spider family lead by a person with the title Niwatoko. the Niwatoko is a family member born with two things first the symbol of the family a black spider in the form of a birth mark second is the families Kekkei Genkai. the NIwatoko is then taken to the great spider caves to become a spider sage, the location of the great spider cave was kept secret in the family history from the beginning for the family has been here far longer then KIRIGAKURE NO SATO and the five great clans. the family saw the promise that the first Mizukage had and happily joined the village and where kept secret from all but the Mizukage and the predecessors. Shizukana did not take part of the politics of KIRIGAKURE NO SATO for their soul reason is to serve the active and retired Mizukages. after the fall of the 4th Niwatoko the family fell into disarray(the family had suffered a civil war) decimating their numbers from a healthy family of 35 shinobi and 15 non shinobi to only 13 active shinobi members and 8 non shinobi members . the family thought that the sun had set on their once proud family. the clan has been without a Niwatoko for years and have lost their way. the family has fallen prey to the influence of the 5 great clans and their toxic words.
