Physical Features:
  • Face/head: Tobikiri has a face like a combination of an oval and an inverted triangle, where it comes down in a pointy like manner but has slightly rounded cheeks and a small flat chin which gives him an overall cute kind of look despite trying to appear cool.
    The cuteness is further expressed by his small nose and lips, though his golden brown eyes give an odd allure whilst his white spiky looking hair shapes his face nicely as it parts out into a big fringe on either side but mostly towards his right which really sticks out like an electrical explosion.
  • Body: Tobikiri is 5'2" tall, weighs 113lbs and like any other Arashiyama he is dark skinned, appearing to have a deep dark tan. Overall he appears to have an average athletic type body build to him with an overall toned body expected of young genin of his age.
  • Notable Features: There is a small crescent shaped scar on the right side of his chest from practicing with his first uses of Ranton
Clothing/Accessories: Tobikiri prefers to wear a greyish-black, sleeveless jacket with a long overhang that comes out towards the right and covers his right leg down to his knee. He often wears this jacket with its collar wide open and popped out and keeps it unfastened near the top, which creates a semi-deep V-neck look and exposes some of his chest underneath due to only wearing a basic white, deep necked vest under the jacket.
As for bottom wear; Tobikiri tends to just wear basic greyish-black pants that match his jacket and usually ties the bottom halves down with bandage like cloth so he can tuck them into his big, greyish, shin pad like sandal boots. His large boots appear to be double layered with a longer lower leg covering part that has harder white shin pad parts covering the front with burgundy red stripes going all the way around. These lower leg parts then appear to tuck into regular looking greyish ninja sandals, though the boots are completely whole and just look double layered.
To finish things of Tobikiri wears greyish-black arm guards that strap to his forearms and he also wears a typical white Kumogakure flak jacket despite being a genin, for he deems them as cool and loves looking like a proper shinobi and finally there's greyish headband round his neck.

Personality:
  • General: Tobikiri is like any other Arashiyama and is a rather calm and easygoing type person and tends to go with the flow, though that doesn't mean he lacks intense emotions as he can still have strong feelings about stuff. He may generally go along with whatever others say without getting bothered but he still starts to get annoyed when people take him for granted, taking him as a pushover that would do any favour imaginable which really starts to grate on him.
    However Tobikiri's anger is very lightly toned and probably comes across as being passive aggressive most of the time or simply not showing up as he tends to push it away in attempt to become calm again. Similarly his other emotions tend to have a clam flow to them no matter how intense they get, presenting an overall chill kind of feel from his persona which could annoy anyone not used to dealing with the Arashiyama clan, especially those that worry too much as they tend to feel like he doesn't care about the situations he is in despite probably just not showing it.
    One thing that sticks out about Tobikiri is that he loves the concept of coolness and the idea of being cool, which is one of the few things to truly break his calm demeanour, though only the truest and greatest cool things do so. To this genin being cool can be as simple as standing out as a shinobi and as such he loves standard shinobi wear such as flack jackets, in fact being a high standing ninja from Kumogakure is the coolest thing in his eyes and as such he can get a bit in over his head about being from the Arashiyama (despite meek scolding from his parents about remembering the roots of the clan).
  • Hopes/Dreams: Tobikiri's biggest dream is to simply be a powerful, cool, high standing shinobi of Kumogakure in the hopes he can do the extreme best for his village though he personally doesn't care where his shinobi career lands him as he will be fine going with the flow of life. If he ends up Kage that would be cool, if he's just some bannin that would be fine too, either way he just wants to be a cool and strong shinobi.
    Outside of being able to do his best for Kumogakure there isn't much else to this boy's hopes and dreams since he would rather try and just stick to the flow of life and end up wherever he ends up.
  • Fears: Tobikiri tries not to think about fears and tends to remain calm about most things though he does sometimes fear that his easygoing nature could get in his way of achieving what dreams he has but he isn't bothered enough to change.
  • Combat Mentality: Like anything else in life, this young genin prefers to go with the flow and see how things pan out rather than making long thought out plans but if push comes to shove he can force himself to become serious and fight in full force.
    Tobikiri likes learning various types of jutsu for multiple situations which aid in his ability to just go along with whatever is happening, though he currently mostly uses his ranton attacks to start things off and see how things develop form there.

After performing a string of handseals, the user focuses storm chakra into one of their hands and holds it out towards the intended target then releases a stream of ranton. This stream comes out from the hand like a long thin snake and though the user can still move whilst doing the jutsu, they must keep their arm up to aim until the whole 1 metre snake is done launching. This stream of ranton will move at 5 speed and 5 strength in odd wiggling patterns like a snake where the whole "body" follows the path of the "head", looping around and moving in a way that should hopefully distract the opponent but also still continuously following a straight path to where it was originally aimed. Upon impact, once the whole snake has caught up and fully impacted, the liquid bursts into 3 ribbons with 3 strength and 5 speed that lunge for the target up to 1.25 meters. This technique will pierce surface skin, but causes mostly superficial (albeit rather painful and bloody) wounds and inflicts tingling and acute numbness to the impacted areas.

Ranton: Nano Double

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will create a copy of themselves out of Ranton chakra. The clone will be able to move with the stats labelled below, while also exploding with the force of a single exploding tag upon death and release 3 ribbons with 3 strength and 5 speed which lunge at the nearest target within 1.25 metres. After performing the correct hand seals, the user will coat a weapon they are holding in Raiton electricity for 5 posts. This causes the shock effect to be produced on any contact with a target, while also granting blunt weapons the ability to cut through skin to produce shallow wounds. This also works for thrown weapons, however if the projectile remains out of contact with the user for more than 2 posts the technique will dissipate early

Raiton: Bright Spark
D-ranked Raiton Jutsu
After performing the correct hand seals, the user will hold out their hand and snap their fingers causing a spark of bright electricity to form between them. This spark will begin to flow around the hand in wide arcs, bouncing from finger to finger in rapid succession so that it is constantly visible. Though this spark of electricity has all the usual shocking capabilities of raiton, its main purpose is to provide some light as the user moves around with it as if it was some kind of torch. This jutsu lasts for 3 posts or until the user ends it.

Raiton: Channelled Charge
D-ranked Raiton Jutsu
Whilst holding a weapon no bigger than an average Katana, the user will channel raiton chakra into it which gives it an electrical charge. This charge will apply a +5 strength augmentation to the weapon and will cause the usual raiton shock effects upon striking someone and can easily jump down other weapons when struck, flowing down into the wielder and still applying the shock (e.g. Clashing with a charged sword against an opponent's sword will cause a spark to jump into their sword and flow down to their hand). This can be maintained for as long as the user is capable though it dissipates within 1 post if they let go of the weapon.

This young boy was born as the eldest child of a family from the Arashiyama clan, his father was called Datsutoko and his mother was named Seiinju and together they donned him Tobikiri.
Since he was born to that of a high standing clan, Tobikiri was surrounded by ninja right from birth and as such grew up following shinobi based teachings but of course he still had some generic social standing lessons growing up as it was Kumogakure's culture to have them mixed.
When he was born his father started to lean towards more administrative type work so as to have an easier time to be around his newborn son, though he had always done some on the side and was a bit of a jack of all trades paperwork man who dealt with various different types of administration but wasn't quite the top of one area.
Since Datsutoko became truly split between ninja work and administrative work it was Seiinju who took up most of the work of teaching Tobikiri the ways of a shinobi when he started to come of age, however the admin work his father did allowed him to at give valuable non-shinobi lessons and gave some interest to the boy for work he could do outside of being a ninja just as it did for Datsutko seeing his own father work.
Tobikiri's teaching supposedly gave him a nice edge when it came to school but the clan's nature had taught him to be easygoing all too well, as such he never truly pushed himself to work too hard and just about came out of school pretty average and entered the academy just as such with the only real high quality skill being his chakra control.

Despite being from a high standing and well respected clan, the easy going and clam nature of this boy meant he typically went at a slower pace or went with the flow as he would put it. This characteristic of his wasn't exactly laziness, it was just that there wasn't much push to do the extreme of his absolute best and he was often told to just take his time and graduate when ready.

Times quickly changed when a younger brother, Nagare, was born and made Tobiki have something extra to truly look towards in being a great elder brother. The boy already looked up to the older shinobi of the village and thought being one was cool but it was the thought of being that coolness for his brother that sparked true life into the lad, as such his skill went up with great momentum then onwards.

Tobikiri trained hard and aimed to become as cool as possible all whilst not allowing it get in the way of his personality, instead he simply and truly became to ride the waves of life at their peak power and cemented his dream of become a powerful Bannin or maybe even Kage one day. With this dream pushing him forwards he finally finished the academy at the age of 13 and began work as a genin, though not before he finally also got a younger sister named Denrozu.

With 2 younger siblings to impress, Tobikiri hoped to become an amazing genin but for his first year as one he mostly worked closely with the clan in order to help out with looking after his 3 year old sister but also because his parents thought it was best to get clan skill practice in first before forming a genin team. Part of this was because before he had already hurt himself practising with Ranton techniques and his mother begged his father to convince him to stay close by for awhile, pushing with great worry despite her usual calm self.
This practice was only intended to be a few months so he could get used to being a shinobi but then a terrible fate struck Kumogakure as a legendary spirit attacked and destroyed part of the eastern mountain, shaking the village to its core only to be then followed by a major civil war throughout the lightning country and despite the clans clam and easygoing nature the boy's father demanded he stayed out of danger but to help the village.

Once the village was stable once more Tobikiri was finally 14 and was now ready to seek his own genin and well and truly begin his quest to be the coolest ninja, plus for his efforts in the bad time his father finally got him a custom fit flak that he had always wanted.
