Physical Features: Shizuo is a tall young man whose most notable feature is that is is quite pale with maroon markings under his eyes similar to eye bags. He has white hair with light grey eyes, a high, narrow nose, and thin lips. The general lack of color in his complexion gives him a rather cold appearance both literally and figuratively. Despite this, he has a gentle face and is considered by some to be handsome. At first glance he seems to be of average build, but he has toned, lean muscles, especially in his arms, shoulders, and torso.

Clothing and Accessories: Shizuo typically wears a thick dark green shirt with 3/4 length sleeves. He often pairs it with a black hooded jacket that stops mid-thigh. The jacket has several pockets: one large pocket on each of his sides, two smaller breast pockets on each side, and two large pockets on the inside of the jacket, one on each side. Shizuo often carries a small black messenger bag filled with some of his equipment. He wears light grey pants and heavy black boots. When on missions in the colder areas, he adds a heavy dark grey coat to his outfit that stops at his knees, and thick, black fur-lined gloves. Shizuo wears a black, beaded necklace known as Envy and keeps it tucked beneath his collar.

Personality: Shizuo is generally amiable and sociable, and is considered easy to approach. Once he considers someone a friend, he is very open and freely gives advice and suggestions so they may live their best life. He enjoys being out and about in the village, especially at restaurants and taverns. He enjoys a boisterous nightlife, though his daily life is generally much calmer. In between missions, he usually makes time to read and reflect on his ideas regarding strengthening himself, his comrades, and the village as a whole.

At his worst, he is stubborn and argumentative and steadfast in his opinions to a fault. Shizuo is slow to admit he is wrong and often resents others who point out his flaws and mistakes. He often holds grudges and does not readily give others second chances. In his mind, third chances are out of the question. When making decisions, he tends to focus on the negatives before the positives.

The shinobi loves his village above all else and would do anything to ensure its strength and success. He hopes to increase Iwagakure's influence in neighboring countries and eliminate any opposition or threat to the village's authority. He has a deep resentment that borders hatred for all of Iwagakure's rival villages and would gladly see them all either annihilated or conquered.

Combat Mentality: Shizuo typically functions as support and rarely, if ever, plays an active offensive role in battle. He focuses on developing a strategy and assists his allies to keep the battle going in their favor.

Early LifeShow
One year in Rock Country, the first rains of the season signaled the usual annual Nyuubai celebrations and massive caravans of the barbarian tribes from the north traveling south to Iwagakure. However, with the rain came an outbreak of disease that ravaged many of the caravans. One young woman who was nearing the end of a difficult pregnancy became ill as her caravan approached Iwagakure. Despite his reservations about shinobi, the father was desperate to save her and their unborn child. He took her to a hospital run by shinobi and demanded that they save his wife and child. Due to the woman's dire condition, the doctors were forced to induce labor. The child was born extremely pale with wisps of snow white hair, and his cry was weak as he was just as ill as his mother.

After several weeks in the hospital, the new mother mostly recovered, but the child remained dangerously ill. Convinced the child would die, the parents abandoned the child in Iwagakure and returned to the north with their caravan. One of the baby's many nurses pitied him and charged herself with nursing him back to health. She persevered, and two months after he was born, the unnamed infant was given a clean bill of health. Despite her fondness for the baby, the young nurse was in no position to adopt him. Fearing he would be subject to a difficult life as an abandoned child - or worse, be forced into slavery - she asked two family friends to take him in. The couple, Komiya Satoru and Kikyo, were kind and childless merchants, and they happily took the baby in. They named the baby Shizuo and loved him as their own.

Shizuo was a kind and happy child, eager to learn and explore the world around him. He loved his parents dearly and, as an only child, was given everything he could ever want, if his parents could manage it. Though they were not an esteemed family, the Komiya were well off. Satoru had inherited several ancient family heirlooms that were kept in a large cabinet in the back of their modest home. Shizuo was absolutely forbidden to touch the items and the cabinet itself.

When Shizuo was seven years old, an unfruitful harvest season left Iwagakure with few supplies to last through the winter. Food was stringently rationed and in the dead of winter, some citizens had reached their breaking point. When Shizuo accompanied his parents to buy what little food they could, a riot erupted, and the family was caught in the fray. The boy cowered behind his mother as citizens fought one another, breaking windows and starting fires in the process. Then, the shinobi of Iwagakure fell upon the rioting crowd and swiftly got everyone under control. Shizuo was impressed with the strength and discipline of the shinobi, and the experience would change the course of his life.
Academy and GeninShow
Days later, the young boy announced he would one day be a shinobi. Worried for their only child, his parents initially refused. But he incessantly discussed his future plans to be like "those super strong guys." Eventually his parents relented and when he enrolled in the academy they allowed him to take private lessons so he could keep up with the other students. Life as an academy student was harder than he thought. Coming from a civilian family, he knew nothing of the ninja arts and he struggled with the concept of chakra. But the boy was stubborn, and though he had no talent when it came to elemental ninjutsu and barely understood genjutsu, he refused to give up his goal of becoming a powerful shinobi.

One day after a particularly frustrating day of projectile exercises, a nine year old Shizuo was welcomed by an empty house. The day has been an endless barrage of being incessantly bossed around by both his sensei and classmates and being told he would never be good enough to graduate. Still reeling from his horrible day, he stomped around the house while muttering bitterly to himself about being told what to do. Eventually he found his way to his father's treasured cabinet, and he wrenched it open to have a look at the ancient heirlooms. The inside of the cabinet was covered in intricate black designs, but the Shizuo only admired them for a moment before turning his attention to the items inside.

Impulsively, he reached for one of the smaller items: a wooden box with emeralds embedded in the lid, dotted with what appeared to be faded gold symbols. As soon as his fingers curled around the box, a wave of energy ripped through his body and sent him flying into the wall, and a high, cruel laugh filled his ears as he slipped into unconsciousness. Hours later, the boy awakened in a hospital. His parents were at his side, their faces unreadable, and they said little to him until they returned home. They refused to explain what happened to him but made him promise to never, ever open the cabinet again. Shizuo was frightened by the experience and agreed, but he became obsessed with understanding the box.

Months later, his curiosity got the better of him and while his parents were out, he again opened the cabinet and removed the box without directly touching it. As soon as he closed the cabinet behind him, a chilling whisper filled his ears. Shizuo quickly realized the voice was coming from within the box in his hands. He hid the box in his room and it continued to speak to him, and eventually he began to speak back. Through conversation with the voice, Shizuo learned that it was a trapped spirit and it urged the boy to release him from its prison. The boy, however, was unable to pry the lid open to free it, so he returned it to his parent's cabinet.

From that day on, Shizuo became obsessed with understanding spirits and he dedicated much of his remaining time in the academy to learning tenkujutsu. Since he had little interest in offensive techniques and maneuvers, he also learned iijutsu so he wouldn't be completely useless in the field. He graduated from the academy at the age of twelve.

His life as a genin was largely uneventful. He performed the menial tasks assigned to him and spent his free time studying spirits and, occasionally, secretly speaking with the spirit locked in his parent's cabinet.
Chuunin and BeyondShow
As Shizuo became more experienced as a shinobi, he concluded that his talent lied not within being the biggest or the strongest, but supporting those who were. He intensively studied sensory and iijutsu, and by the time he took the chuunin exams, he was skilled with creating strategies and helping his teammate navigate the battlefield. He passed the exams with the other genin on his team and began his career as a chuunin.

As a chuunin, not only did Shizuo improve his skills with tenkujutsu, sensory, and iijutsu, but he also trained his body physically so he wouldn't fall far behind his comrades. By the time he was eighteen, Shizuo had honed his skills and was promoted to special jounin. During his time as a special jounin he honed his skill in ninjutsu, and began to work for Sakata Kanna, a member of the Iwagakure Council who specializes in tenkujutsu. During this time he was assigned to be the handler for a jinchuuriki and was present at her sealing. The sealing went wrong and killed half the Council, though Shizuo survived with minor injuries. This incident prompted him to focus on iijutsu and tenkujutsu, and he became known for these specialties.

Shizuo, along with others, uncovered a criminal ring that dealt with the illegal trade of Joruri and other spirit-tainted objects. His police work in this area led to his promotion to jounin, and he continues these endeavors while also doing medical and spirit-related research.

Dokka's Prison
This is a specialized orb of Shizuo's creation. The orb is golden in color and is the size of a softball. Shizuo created this orb to house his spirit companion, Dokka, which possesses the orb.

“What’s mine is mine, what’s yours is mine”
A beaded necklace most often worn around the neck, Envy is a precarious weapon. By snapping the string that holds the beads and channelling chakra through them at the same time these beads quickly increase in size and mass, becoming 18 lbs. each, which float behind and can be controlled by the user. The beads can be controlled as if like a swarm, functioning via the user's 'Envy' weapon stat as the Sync stat. The beads can be destroyed with a strike greater than the weapon stat; however, they can repair themselves, taking [100/'Envy'] posts to repair, rounded up, with a maximum of 7 posts. The beads can only extend up to 20 meters from the user; any further and they immediately return to orbit behind the user's back. These beads all have an almost gravitational like pull to them, pulling things towards them with a strength equal to 3/4 the 'Envy' stat.

Sensory is advantageous as it allows shinobi to perceive without using any of their conventional senses, which can easily be deceived. Sensors are able to collect a lot of information through the interpretation of this sixth sense.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Raiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Raiton affinity. Raiton has a shocking effect.

Raiton has the effect of shocking, which means causes it's effect to be diffuse upon impact. In organic material, this causes nervous stimulation which results in numbness, tingling, loss of sensation, and sometimes paralysis. In inorganic material, this means that the strength of the jutsu diffuses across an area 2x the size of the attack. In a jutsu that creates a lightning ball 2m in diameter, if it struck a wall the size of the attack would cover a 4m area.

Additionally, the strength of the nervous effect on organic material from raiton jutsu is determined by the strength stat requirement.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Suiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Suiton affinity. Suiton has a passive enveloping effect.

Suiton's effect is enveloping, meaning that suiton passively surrounds anything that it makes contact with. Suiton techniques that do not last over periods of times (i.e, exploding techniques) drench their opponents, but long term techniques will envelop anything they come in contact with and maintain a hold on it with the 3/4th strength of the technique, rounded down. This means that if a suiton wave is shot forward with 17 strength, it will envelope and move anything with it that does not have more than 12 strength to resist it. This allows Suiton to fill a very powerful role in eliminating tools from opponent's access and capturing targets.

After performing a set of hand seals, the user focuses chakra towards their hand. A chain made of Maroon chakra will shoot from their palm towards the target at [Control] speed, up to 20 meters away. If it hits a spirit, a jinchuuriki, tsukimogami, or other such being, the chain will wrap around them, placing their arms, if they have any, to their side, stopping them from performing hand seals. These chains cling to the chakra of the Spirit itself, and are unable to be broken through physical means. If the target has a related Mastery stat or a Spirit has a strength stat higher than 10, they are able to break the binding. If the chains are able to stay on their target, they will drain away -1 Mastery from hosts or -1 Strength from Spirits until broken free of.

After doing the needed hand seals, the user will create a 10 meter cubed barrier within 15 meters of their location at [Control] Speed with [Control] Strength. This barrier is created of pure Maroon chakra and will only stop things that are related to spirits, normally jinchuuriki. As a result, those that are stopped by the barrier are unable to make their way through unless they can break it. Those untainted by spirits are able to pass through the barrier at their leisure. This barrier lasts for 4 posts.

Pre-Requisite: Sensory Concentration
After performing the needed hand seals, the user focuses chakra to their eyes, causing the Maroon chakra to flare up around their eyes. This works similar to a doujutsu, but with no physical change to the eye itself, allowing the user to see the chakra of spirits and spirit related objects/people as an aura of Maroon. While useful for a quick glance, it can be used up to [Chakra Pool]/5 posts, before needing to be refreshed.

After performing the needed hand seals, the user will place their hand on an object that is being possessed by a spirit, such as a joruri of Common Soul size or lower. Over the course of a full post, as long as contact is maintained, the spirit will be banished from the object.

After performing the needed hand seals, the user focuses chakra into their body, giving them a slight Maroon glow. For the next 10 posts, whenever they speak, they are able to communicate with Spirits of all sorts, including those inside of jinchuuriki within 20 meters.

After preforming the necessary hand seals, the user shoots out a chain of Maroon Chakra at [Control] speed that wraps around the spirit up to 40 meters away. If the spirit stays sealed within this chain for 4 posts, the spirit is subjected to the control of the user of the technique, regardless of contracts up to 4 posts. If the spirit has more than 20 strength it can break the chain. This jutsu can be used on C-Rank and below spirits.

After performing the needed hand seals, the user focuses chakra to their eyes, causing the Maroon chakra to flare up around their eyes. This works similar to a doujutsu, but with no physical change to the eye itself, allowing the user to see the chakra of spirits and spirit related objects/people as an aura of Maroon. Additionally, they are able to see how the spirit is interacting with their host, be it a jinchuuriki, or a joruri. While useful for a quick glance, it can be used up to [Chakra Pool]/5 posts, before needing to be refreshed.

Pre-requisite: Sensory Concentration, [Vision of Spirits]
After channeling the necessary amount of chakra, Shizuo focuses chakra to his eyes, causing the Maroon chakra to flare up around his eyes. This allows Shizuo to view the chakra of spirits and spirit-related objects as an aura. The appearance of this aura reflects soul size and the strength of the spirit.
  • Petty: The spirit’s aura will appear as a very faint glow around the spirit
  • Lesser: The spirit’s aura will emanate considerably as a strong glow around it and slowly pulsate
  • Common: The spirit’s aura will flare considerably around it and will flicker and pulsate like fire
  • Greater: The spirit’s chakra will take the form of a large, slowly rotating aura around the spirit
  • Grand: The maroon aura will be take the form of a strong whirlwind around the spirit

A-rank Tenkujutsu (Nin)
After performing a set of hand seals, the user focuses chakra towards their hand. A chain made of Maroon chakra will shoot from their palm towards the target at [Control] speed, up to 65 meters away. If it hits a spirit, a jinchuuriki, tsukimogami, or other such being, the chain will wrap around them, placing their arms, if they have any, to their side, stopping them from performing hand seals. These chains cling to the chakra of the Spirit itself, and are unable to be broken through physical means. If the target has a related Mastery stat or a Spirit has a strength stat higher than 25, they are able to break the binding. If the chains are able to stay on their target, they will drain away -6 Mastery from hosts or -6 Strength from Spirits until broken free of.

Ochiiru • [Possession Transfer]
A-rank Tenkujutsu (Nin)
After performing the needed hand seals, Shizuo will place his hand on someone being possessed by a spirit of Greater Soul size and lower. Over the course of a full post, as long as contact is maintained, the spirit will be extracted from the person. This jutsu prevents the spirit from retreating to the spirit realm, and instead forces the to stay in the human realm. This also gives the user an additional 3 posts after the extraction to use jutsu to transfer and seal the spirit into another object. Shizuo at times uses another person or people to supplement stamina and assist with the jutsu and subsequent sealings.

After performing the needed hand seals, the user will place their hand on the head of someone being possessed by a spirit of Greater Soul size and lower. Over the course of a full post, as long as contact is maintained, the spirit will be banished from the person.

A-rank Tenkujutsu (Nin)
After preforming the necessary hand seals, the user places their hand over the spirit as they flood their chakra for an entire post. If the spirit has a control stat higher than the user's, then the spirit will resist the claim. If they do not, they will be bound to the user, and are able to be summoned at any time at the will of the user and have to obey their every command. This jutsu however is only useful on spirits up to C-rank.

S-rank Tenkujutsu (Nin)
Pre-Requisite: Storage & Force Fuuinjutsu Concentration
After doing the needed hand seals and writing the correct seals or having them premade on a storage device (such as a pot), the user is able to take advantage of a spirit that has been recently ejected from a host/object or one that has been defeated. As long as this jutsu is used the post after the spirit was ejected/defeated, the fuuinjutsu consumes the spirit, trapping them inside until the seal is broken or it is purposefully released.

S-rank Tenkujutsu (Nin)
Prerequisite: Storage & Force Fuuinjutsu Concentration
After doing the needed hand seals, while having the *Shizumeru • [Temporary Housing] of a spirit close by, the user will attempt to seal a greater soul spirit within an object. By writing a seal onto the object, the spirit will then be sealed within the object. This takes a total of 10 posts to complete.

This sensor jutsu is used by shinobi to feel chakra sources within a radius of 25 meters. While this jutsu is fairly helpful in sensing chakra, it is unable to actually pinpoint specific chakras outside of 10 feet. This only gives the Shinobi an idea of how many entities with chakra are present in their general area.

Prerequisites: *[Sensory Style • Beyond Senses]
The sensor will activate their sensory jutsu, and then do an additional set of hand seals. By doing so, the user will be able to compare the “strength” of each source of chakra they are able to sense to each other. The “strength” of the individual is determined by the average of each person’s Chakra Pool, Control and Strength stats. The user can determine who has more chakra strength than others, allowing them to pick out possible risks. This technique is not very reliable as a determining factor, however.

C-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisites: *[Sensory Style • Beyond Senses]
The sensor will activate their sensory jutsu, and focus on one source of chakra they can sense. By doing an additional hand seal, and holding said hand seal, the user will be able to continue to sense that source of chakra, even if they are moving around, so long as they are holding the hand seal. If they, or the chakra source, moves out of range, the user will lose track of them.

C-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisites: *[Sensory Style • Beyond Senses]
The sensor will activate their sensory jutsu, and then do a second set of hand seals. For the next 5 posts, any time anyone within the range of their sensory activates a jutsu, the user will see their chakra “flare” momentarily. While they won’t know anything about the jutsu, it will give them a better idea of the battle field.

This jutsu is an extension of [Beyond Senses]. With this jutsu initiated, a sensor can focus on individual chakra signatures to get a precise idea of where their opponents are at up to 25 meters. A general sense of the direction and number of chakra sources can be determined at 40 meters. It should be noted that this jutsu requires intense concentration, often making the user shut their eyes so they can focus on the jutsu solely. Even with high levels of Chakra Control, this jutsu can be mentally taxing as it requires the user to sort through the individual chakra sources in the sensor’s range.

Having used the flare, the user will look out for any flares. Upon noticing one, the user will immediately do a single hand seal, allowing them to determine the affinity, strength, and speed if applicable, and sense where that chakra is going specifically. This means if it’s a projectile, they’ll be able to track and see the projectile in their minds eye. If it’s a fuuinjutsu, they are able to see that a fuuinjutsu is activated, but will not be able to follow the result unless they activate this jutsu again. This jutsu is very effective due to its broad mechanic.

Iijutsu is known for its advanced nature and requires precise chakra control to work effectively. It can be differentiated from normal techniques by the faint light green colour of the chakra used in iijutsu techniques.

When real latex gloves are not on hand, the [Iijutsu • Chakra Gloves] technique comes in quite handy. After forming a single handseal, the user will focus chakra into his/her hands to form a thin layer of chakra around them. This chakra will help to protect other objects against the bacteria on the user's hands if sterilization is not an option before beginning a procedure. This technique can be held as long as the user has chakra.

*[Iijutsu • Sterilization Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
As sanitation cannot always be guaranteed in field operations, this technique provides a quick substitute to traditional sterilization methods. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will channel the chakra throughout his/her upper body (torso, arms, hands, face). This chakra will chew away at harmful bacteria and other foreign bodies on the skin, cleansing it until it is thoroughly sterile, and can be spread to objects, most commonly surgical tools. Of course, this takes both concentration and time, and in order to sterilize the entire upper body, it will take a duration of one (1) post. Users of this technique can also choose to sterilize certain parts of their upper body or the wounds of another person instead for a lesser concentration period. Once they are sanitized, they remain this way until coming in contact with more bacteria.

*[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
This highly useful field technique is applied to bleeding wounds to help encourage the coagulation of the blood. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them over the bleeding wound and begin to channel chakra through it. The chakra will began to thicken the blood, causing it to clot. Wounds must be dealt with one at a time, and the number of wounds that can be tended to within the three (3) posts that this technique lasts depends on their size. Small wounds take very little time to clot, while moderate wounds take one (1) post of concentration to clot, and large wounds take two (2) posts to clot. Although this technique stops the bleeding, the wound remains vulnerable and will require further care after this has been performed.

*[Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
When traditional stitching supplies aren't available, *[Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching] truly shines. After performing a short set of handseals, the user will gently place his/her index finger at the base of the patient's wound. Once this is done, the user will lift his/her finger and touch it to the other side of the wound, causing a visible 'stitch' of chakra to appear. This is repeated until the wound has been pulled together. Although precision is key, this technique can still be performed relatively quickly. Small to moderate wounds take very little time to stitch, while large wounds will take one (1) post of work to mend. This technique drains a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attached to in order to keep the stitches going, theoretically, ad-infinitum, and can be cancelled at any time by the user with a single handseal. Any intensive or strenuous movements will cause the stitches to break.

*[Iijutsu • Burn Ointment Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
A relatively simple and handy technique to have at hand, *[Iijutsu • Burn Ointment Technique] is used to alleviate pain caused by burn wounds. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them above the burn wound. As the chakra is channeled into and around the burn, it cools the area and works to prevent harmful, scar-producing blistering in the affected area. To provide this soothing relief to small areas of first degree burns, it's fairly quick to do. For small areas of second degree burns, it takes one (1) post of concentration to achieve the same effects. This technique is ineffective when applied to larger areas or burns worse than second degree.

*[Iijutsu • Bandage Technique]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Sterilization Technique]
A simple yet vital medical technique, the *[Iijutsu • Bandage Technique] provides its users with the ability to create makeshift bandages out of any suitable material they desire. After channeling chakra into an object (such as a leaf, piece of cloth, etc.), the user is able to apply it to the wound of a patient. Once applied, the selected object will adhere to the flesh around the wound, protecting it from bacteria and other harmful foreign bodies. Objects used for the bandage technique are automatically sterilized in the process. These bandages drain a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attatched to in order to keep them stuck on, theoretically, ad-infinitum, and can be cancelled at any time by the user with a single handseal. While not as effective at stopping bleeding as the [Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching] technique, they hold on much better in the case that strenuous movement is necessary.

[Iijutsu • Scalpel]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
This is a useful technique when Shizuo has no other tools available to make small, precise incisions. After focusing chakra to his hands, Shizuo concentrates the chakra to his index finger to create a sharp blade of chakra. The blade is simple but very sharp, and is at most two inches in length.

*[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: 5 Iijutsu
Perhaps one of the most important Iijutsu techniques to date, the *[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique] allows its users to probe another's body in search for medical answers. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will begin to channel it into the patient's body. Using this chakra as an internal extension of his/her hand to feel for abnormalities and other issues, the user is often able to determine the problem after some time and concentration. In order for a thorough examination to provide sufficient answers, the user will focus for up to one (1) post, seeking signs of internal and external damage, organ malfunction and disease among other ailments. Although skilled medical-nin have the possibility to work faster, skill cannot be substituted in for thoroughness.

*[Iijutsu • Skin Generation]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Often utilized by medical-nin to heal small, superficial wounds or for producing excess skin to use in skin grafts, the *[Iijutsu • Skin Generation] technique has its number of uses. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will channel it into a small area of skin cells on the patient's body. This chakra will force the skin cells to multiply at an ample rate by confusing this area of the body into its reconstruction stage that is achieved during slumber. As this is a type of regeneration, users must keep in mind that each cell draws from nutrients in the patient's body, and as such, too much can cause serious harm. In order to regenerate medium-sized areas of superficial wounds, it takes one (1) post of concentration. Areas smaller than this take considerably less time. In the case that the skin sample is separate from the body, the cells can be multiplied more quickly than they could be otherwise. These types of samples are generally use for skin grafts. The *[Iijutsu • Skin Generation] technique can be held for four (4) posts.

*[Iijutsu • Removal Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]
In the event that a foreign object gets lodged into a patient's body, such as the point of shuriken or a senbon, the *[Iijutsu • Removal Technique] can be utilized to retrieve it. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will place them on either side of the wound in question. From here, the medical-nin will carefully manipulate the surrounding tissues by channeling chakra into them, coaxing the foreign object to the surface of the wound in order to extract it. Users of this technique are advised to analyze the severity of the wound beforehand, as more complex wounds will take longer than the one (1) post of concentration needed to extract most objects from superficial to moderate wounds. This technique should be used in conjunction with a tissue regeneration technique or the *[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]. The *[Iijutsu • Removal Technique] can be held for a maximum of four (4) posts

*[Iijutsu • Cleanse Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
In the event that creating an antidote is not possible, users of this technique can still help their patient fight off toxins, infections and other foreign bodies. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will begin to channel it into the patient's body. As this chakra flows into the body, the leukocytes will react to its presence and begin to multiply rapidly. This influx of white blood cells takes one (1) post of concentration to create. Over the course of five (5) posts, the new and old leukocytes are able to fight off poisons that are C-Rank and below that have entered the body. During these final five posts, the medical-nin does not need to continuously focus chakra into the patient. It will take care of itself at this point.

*[Iijutsu • Bone Fracture Technique]
C-Ranked Nintaijutsu
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel]
Once the *[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel] has been activated, users may choose to use this jutsu as an alternative to the aforementioned technique's usual action. When in close range, the user will attempt to jab his/her charged hand at the opponent, seeking to connect with a bone. If successful, the chakra will be released into the opponent's body as a sharp, precise burst to the area of contact, causing the bone to fracture. If this area is struck again in the same spot, the bone will inevitably break. This technique does not harm anything but the bone—not even the skin—and is dispelled after three (3) posts or until contact with the opponent is made. However, since both hands are charged, the user has two chances with this technique per use (one per hand).

*[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
A useful, but particularly taxing technique, the *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique] is performed on poisoned patients. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will make a small incision (with a knife, scalpel, etc.) on the patient and then place his/her hands over the new wound. As this chakra is channeled into the body, it extracts the poison out of it and into the user's palm. After one (1) post of the extraction process, the user will remove his/her hand, and place it over a container of some sort (anything that can bear liquid). From here, the liquid poison will be ejected from the hand along with the remaining chakra that was used to extract it. As this chakra interacts with the poison over the course of a second post, its molecules will be rearranged to form the antidote for the poison in question. This works only on C-Rank or lower poisons. The antidote takes a total of three (3) posts to fully rid the body of the poison.

*[Iijutsu • Imperfect Cure]

Formulated to work in conjunction with the *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique], *[Iijutsu • Imperfect Cure] extends upon the antidote created in the aforementioned technique. Once the antidote has been concocted following the description of the *[Iijutsu • Basic Antidote Technique], the user will begin to channel additional chakra throughout the antidote to make it especially potent. This increased potency not only rids the body of the C-Rank or lower liquid poison that was in the body over the (3) posts it takes to work, but also induces an immunity in the patient which lasts for seven (7) posts.

This technique is similar to the Basic Antidote technique in all but the middle steps. After taking (1) post to extract the poison from the patient, Shizuo places it into a container. Throughout a second post, the molecules rearrange to form an imperfect antidote. Once the medicine is injected into the patient, instead of ridding the body of the poison it simply reduces the effects of the poison by one rank, and extends the duration of the poison by 4 posts. This only works on C-ranked and lower poisons.

Orb of Healing
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After channeling chakra into one of the activated Envy beads, Shizuo directs it towards a target within 20 meters of his position. The bead will hover near the target and channel chakra into their body, directing it toward a wound. The iijutsu chakra will interact with the cells and heal small-to-moderate wounds in two posts, and larger wounds in four posts. The bead will follow the target so long as they stay within 20 meters of Shizuo's position and do not move faster than [Envy]. The technique lasts up to five posts before the chakra fades, and the bead returns to Shizuo's position behind him.

*[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
Perhaps one of the most dangerous and revered Iijutsu honed by medical-nin, the *[Iijutsu • Chakra Scalpel] is no precision instrument. After performing the necessary handseals, the user will begin to focus an ample amount of chakra into his/her hands. Once charged with chakra, the user will attempt to place his/her hands on the target. If the user is able to connect the entirety of his/her palm, the chakra will be released into the opponent's body, slicing tissue, organs and veins up to 4 inches from the surface in an area roughly the size of the user's hand. The skin remains unblemished by this technique, as it only causes small to moderate internal wounds. As this technique is dangerous and mostly uncontrolled, the precision needed to kill instantaneously is lost. The chakra used in this technique is highly visible when first activated and emanates from both hands for a duration of three (3) posts or until contact with the opponent is made.

*[Iijutsu • Paralysis Removal]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
This handy technique is used in cases where patients have suffered temporary paralysis somewhere throughout their bodies. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will apply them to the affected area and begin to channel chakra through the muscle tissue. As this chakra interacts with the temporarily lame muscle tissue, it will restore natural mobility to the area. Areas as large as an entire limb will take one (1) post of concentration to release, while releasing half the body from paralysis will take two (2) posts, and finally, to undo the entire body from paralysis, it takes three (3) posts of concentration. This technique is only effective on paralysis caused by jutsu or certain poisons.

*[Iijutsu • Bone Regeneration Technique]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
Although simple to explain, the *[Iijutsu • Bone Regeneration Technique] requires both skill and patience in order to mend the fractured or broken bones of patients. After focusing chakra into the hands, the user will begin to channel it through the area of the break or fracture. As this chakra makes contact with the bone, it will stimulate the calcium production of the body and begin to mend the bone. To mend small-to-medium breaks, it takes one (1) post of concentration, while fractures are usually very quick to mend. Multiple breaks can be mended during the use of this technique as it lasts for a total of five (5) posts or until canceled. Users should beware that, like other regenerations of this kind, the nutrient stores of the patient's body are being depleted during its use, and too many uses of this technique in a short span of time can cause serious damage.

*[Iijutsu • Intermediate Antidote Technique]

Prerequisite: Must have Raiton
Utilizing electricity to work, the *[Iijutsu • Chaotic Mental Collision] technique is a highly dangerous Iijutsu. To begin, the user will focus regular chakra into his/her hands moments prior to electrifying it with Raiton chakra. This charged chakra will be used in an attempt to disrupt the target's nervous system through close-range contact with the user's hand. If the user is able to connect the flat of his/her palm with the opponent's body, the chakra will be released into it. As this chakra interacts with the foe's nervous system over the course of three (3) posts, it will begin to sever the brain's communication with the rest of the body. During the first post, motor skills such as walking, talking and moving one's hands will be delayed by several seconds. During the second post, the target will begin to lose control over movement in his/her body as the action delay grows worse. By the third post, all motor skills will cease and the target will be rendered immobile. This complete immobility lasts for two (2) posts.

Prerequisite: 20 Iijutsu
One of the almighty and most highly coveted abilities of medical-nin, the *[Iijutsu • Mystical Palm] technique allows its users to heal wounds quickly and efficiently. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will place them over the wound in question and begin to channel chakra through it. As the chakra interacts with the cells and tissues in the area, the wound will begin to regenerate and heal over until there's no remnant of it ever being there. Of course, this is not done in the blink of an eye. To heal small-to-moderate wounds, it takes very little time, while large wounds take one (1) post of concentration to mend, and mortal wounds take a total of two (2) posts to fully mend. This technique lasts for four (4) posts, but due to its chakra-extensive nature, users are not advised to treat multiple large wounds in a single use.

The base technique for summoning, the Spiritualism Technique allows users to bring forth their summons to fight on their behalf. Once an agreement has been made between the user and their summon, they will be able to use this technique to call upon it at any time unless stated otherwise. The chakra used for this technique varies, as it is dependent on the size and rank of what is being summoned. Once it has been summoned, the initial cost of the summon is equivalent to its rank. After performing the correct hand seals, the user will channel Raiton chakra to two of their fingers. They will then be able to fire up to three total bullet sized balls of concentrated lightning from their fingertips. These bullets will travel at [Control] speed, but will not have any physical force. Instead, they will apply light electrical burns similar to a sun burn and will apply Raiton's shocking effect.

Shizuo channels chakra into activated Envy beads, visibly imbuing them with raiton chakra. If Envy strikes a target within the next four posts, the chakra will be released at once in a burst three meters in diameter with the strength of Shizuo's [Control].

Pre-Requisite: Iijutsu Concentration

After channeling his chakra, Shizuo focuses raiton chakra to his hand. After making physical contact with a target, the raiton will spread throughout the person, causing their nerves to misfire. The target will shake uncontrollably for 3 posts, making fine motor movement - including forming hand seals - very difficult.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will seep Raiton chakra in an area around them with a 25m diameter. The user's Raiton will constrict and paralyze jutsu and people who enter it. They will lose -1 Speed per post for 2 posts or until the user ends the jutsu.

Raiton • Spear

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will create a two meter long rod of lightning in their hand. They are then able to launch it at [Control] speed in a single direction. Upon contact the spear will explode. If it has not been launched by the end of the second post it will dissipate.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user will seep Raiton chakra in an area around them with a 25m diameter. This will produce an electric current on the ground in this area visible as crackling lightning on the surface. Any other than the user who step into this zone will have the shocking effect applied and their legs will sustain [Control] Strength shocks. This current lasts 3 posts, while it ends immediately if the user leaves the area.

After performing the correct hand seals, the user emits a wave of electricity from their palm in a single direction. This is produced as a 10m wide line which extends 2m into the air and travels up to 25m from the user at [Control] Speed. The wave will apply the shocking effect and reduce the speed of any living thing it strikes by 3 Speed for 3 posts by electrically interfering with the brain's nervous signals.

Clone
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals Shizuo creates a clone of himself that is made completely of raiton chakra. This clone is lasts for [Control/5] posts and is capable of using Raiton techniques.

Blade of Raijuu
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Shizuo channels chakra to a bladed weapon, causing it to be imbued with raiton chakra. The raiton adds an additional 6 inches in length to the blade, and allows Shizuo to apply the raiton passive to his strikes and the lightning cuts through defenses with [Control] strength. This technique lasts for 10 posts or until dispelled.

Envious Discharge
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Pre-Requisite: Iijutsu Concentration
Shizuo channels chakra into activated Envy beads, visibly imbuing them with raiton chakra. At Shizuo's will, the raiton will discharge and affect targets within 10 meters of the area, causing their nerves in their limbs to misfire. The target's limbs will shake uncontrollably for 3 posts, making fine motor movement - including forming hand seals - very difficult.

Coveting Vision
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Pre-Requisite: Raiton and Iijutsu concentrations
This useful technique combines Shizuo's prowess with both raiton and iijutsu. He channels chakra into activated Envy beads, visibly imbuing them with electrified iijutsu chakra. At his will, the raiton will discharge and affect targets within 10 meters of the discharge. The chakra targets the occipital nerves and causes them to misfire. This results in the target being blind for three posts.

The user will first perform the correct hand seals, and then fire a cone of lightning which begins at 5m wide closest to them and then 40m wide at the furthest point. The cone extends 40m from the user's body at [Control] Speed. This cascade of lightning roars tremendously loud, and strikes all caught within it at ]Control] Strength.

B-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user will first perform the correct hand seals before releasing a basketball sized orb of lightning 15m into the air. The orb will then cascade sheets of lightning down in the shape of a dome over the caster, with a 40m radius. This dome, apart from being exceptionally loud, forms a sort of protection against attacks. It comes into being at [Control] speed, and is able to redirect hits of up to [Control] strength in a downward direction. These sheets of lightning also serve as a visual obscurity. This technique lasts for up to 3 posts depending on the user's discretion.

Charge

After channeling chakra to his hands, Shizuo’s hands and legs will become surrounded with raiton chakra, causing him to crackle with electricity. With each of his strikes, the chakra also hits by striking with an additional [Control] strength and applies the raiton passive accordingly. The jutsu lasts 10 posts or until dispelled.

Claw of Raijuu

Pre-Requisite: [Deft Hands], Iijutsu Concentration

By using his knowledge of the human body and his raiton prowess, Shizuo targets specific organs and muscle groups to disrupt his opponent. After forming the correct hand seals, Shizuo draws chakra to his finger to create a 8-inch long senbon made of pure raiton chakra. He then touches a target to pierce their body with the raiton and leave it behind. Once it pierces the arget, the senbon releases its charka in a controlled, localized manner, causing the target to lose sensation in the targeted organ or muscle group for 7 posts.

The user of this technique will gather a concentrated amount of Raiton in their hand after they perform the hand seals for this technique. The lightning causes a sound similar to thousands of birds chirping over the top of each other while it is in existence. The user will then dash at full speed toward a target and attempt to thrust their hand into their target's body using their strength and momentum. The lightning then jumps from the user's arm into the opponent's body where it ravages the insides with a [Control] Strength surge of Raiton chakra.

By using his knowledge of the human body and his raiton prowess, Shizuo targets specific organs and muscle groups to disrupt his opponent. After forming the correct hand seals, Shizuo draws chakra to his finger to create a 8-inch long senbon made of pure raiton chakra. He can then launch the senbon at a [Control] target to pierce their body with [Control] strength. Upon contact, the senbon releases its charka in a controlled manner, causing the targeted organ or muscle group, along with surrounding organs and muscles, to become paralyzed for 10 posts. In the case of affected organs, the organ loses its function for 4 posts.

Heaven’s Bombardment

After performing the correct seals, Shizuo raises his hand to release raiton above him. The raiton electrifies the air above in a 65 meter radius. After three full posts of charging, up to fifty raiton bolts rain down around the user, traveling at [Control] speed and striking with [Control] strength.

Prerequisite: *Raiton • Thousand Birds
After performing the hand seals similar to that of the Thousand Birds technique, the user will begin to spark with various bolts of electricity. For up to 6 posts the user will be surrounded by crackling lightning, which will immediately lash out at any person or metallic object within 80 meters of them at [Control] speed. This will then strike with [Control] strength and apply third degree electrical burns to those it hits. The user cannot cast any other techniques while this technique is active.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will spray water created from the inside of their chest through their mouth. Once the water is expelled, it will form an umbrella shape that is concave to the user and about two meters in diameter. This defense is somewhat solid and can be formed in any direction the user can spit, up to 10 meters away. The defense is shot at [Control] Speed and has [Control] Strength and unless completely destroyed it lasts for three posts before falling lifelessly to the ground.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a shuriken of water that can be thrown up to 10 meters. When kai'd, this shuriken explodes with [Control] Strength and covers the immediate area in water. If not consumed, this technique lasts for three posts.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a dense ball of water approximately 6 centimeters in diameter in their hands. Upon lurching forward, they will release the ball towards an opponent up to 10 meters away at [Control] Speed and Strength.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will expel a 3 meter diameter sphere of water from their mouth at [Control] Speed up to 10 meters away. Upon impact it will burst spilling all over the immediate area making it extremely slippery. Those without 5 Strength or higher will not be able to hold their footing on this wet spot and will slip around.

Propel
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After channeling chakra into his feet, Shizuo will fire a jet of water from each foot , essentially hurling and propelling himself in the opposite direction of their jets as if thrown by a strength equal to his [Control].

After performing the correct hand seals the user expels three (3) 2-centimeter diameter droplets of water from their mouth in quick succession, each of which explode with [Control] Strength on impact, scattering water all over the immediate area. These droplets fly up to 25 meters away at [Control] Speed.

After performing the correct hand seals the user expels a massive tidal wave of water 10 meters wide and nearly 5 meters tall. This wave travels forward at a [Control] Speed and Strength for up to 25 meters before losing it's steam and failing.

Created to safely incapacitate opponents, after performing the correct hand seals, if the opponent is within 25 meters and is standing a top a body of water with the user's chakra in it, the user will begin to churn their chakra causing the water to turn into a vortex and engulf the opponent, trapping them in a vortex about two meters in diameter. Once the target is inside, the user must hold the last seal and cannot use any other techniques, capable of holding this for up to five posts. In order to escape, the target must have at least [Control] strength to physically make their way out, or the user must be disrupted. Most shinobi would pass out after two posts due to a lack of oxygen. However, if a target possesses an Endurance stat higher than 10, it would require three posts for them to pass out. Should the target possess an Endurance stat above 20, it would require five posts for them to pass out, but anything higher than 30 would allow them to resist passing out altogether.

Vortex
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the needed seals, Shizuo covers his hand with suiton and touches a person or surface, leaving the suiton attached behind. Once the suiton is separated from his hand, the water begins to rotate and expands up to 25 meters in diameter, which captures the target within the swirling suiton. The vortex moves with [Control] strength. The jutsu lasts for 3 posts.

Clone
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user creates a clone of themselves comprised completely of suiton chakra. This clone has the user's stats and is capable of using Suiton techniques. It lasts for [Control/5] posts.

*Suiton • Water Dragon Projectile
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user creates a dragon head of water. Once it has been created, the user can launch the three-meter diameter projectile towards a target at [Control] Speed and Strength for up to 40 meters. Following the head is a long body and tail, stretching nearly six-meters. During the course of it's travel, the user may alter the course of the dragon three times, allowing it to complete a U-turn per alteration.

B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user will expel a large amount of water from their body as a sweeping defense against hostile techniques. The water from the technique forms a cylinder around the user at [Control] Speed, and flows around the user. It is approximately 7 meters around and 2 meters thick, leaving only the top unprotected. The wall has the ability to deflect things with [Control] Strength, but even if something break through, the walls thick nature makes traversing through the water fully troublesome. The wall lasts up to three posts unless dispelled earlier by the user or destroyed.

B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user is able to spew a large ball of water that stands at three meters in diameter. This ball rolls forward at the desired target up to 40 meters away and at [Control] Speed. Should this strike the target, they will become engulfed within the sphere. However, if this manages to strike multiple targets, it will envelop them as well, up to a total of 3 prisoners. One can resist being pulled into the ball if they have a strength higher than [Control]. The trapped targets will spin with the sphere and may become nauseated and dizzy from the disorientation. The technique lasts for a total of 4 posts before bursting.

Touch of Enkou
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming the needed seals, Shizuo touches a target and releases a torrent of water that surrounds the target. The water encapsulates the target’s body, forming at [Control] speed and holding with [Control] strength. If the suiton is not destroyed, the target will quickly lose oxygen and eventually pass out. If the target has less than 15 endurance, they will pass out after 3 posts; if their endurance is less than 20, they will pass out after 5 posts; if their endurance is 30 or greater, they can resist passing out all together. This technique lasts 7 posts.

Grasp of Suiko
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming a set of seals, Shizuo holds the final seal. Within 20 meters of his position, a column of suiton will form in the shape of a tiger’s head. The tiger can move up at [Control] speed up to 40 meters of its original position, and Shizuo can control its movements so long as he holds the final seal. When the suiton makes contact with the target it can grab hold with [Control] strength. This jutsu lasts for up to 10 posts.

Claw of Mizuchi
A-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals Shizuo will hold his hand out, as tendrils water begins to swirl around it and form a massive drill-like shape. Approximately 5-meters long and 1-meter wide, the drill is able of pounding through defenses with [Control] strength. This drill lasts for two posts before running out of energy and falling into a puddle of water.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will flow chakra into their heel. When they next slam their heel into the ground, a massive 25-meter diameter geyser will shoot up from the ground directly in front of them at [Control] Speed and Strength for up to 60 meters. The sheer force of the water alone is dangerous, not to mention the gravity of it all falling back to earth.

After performing the correct hand seals the user creates water from thin air and forms so much that it creates a tidal wave 80 meters wide and 20 meters tall. The wave will flow forward at [Control] speed and strength, crashing into and destroying everything in it's path for up to 80 meters before running out of power.

A truly unique move in that it can be used alongside other Fuuinjutsu, by channeling into their finger as they draw in the air directly in front of them, the user releases raw chakra the lingers for a small amount of time, allowing it to be used as a seal formula. Alternatively the user can also do hand seals and place their hands forward, causing a seal to burst to life in the air in front of them. This technique consumes chakra equal to the cost of the technique.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will hold their hand over a seal, and begin to remove it. This removal will be successful as long as the user has more [Control] than that of which the Fuuinjutsu was sealed with.

Intercom

After drawing the needed seal, the user performs a single seal and begins speaking into the fuuin. The fuuinjutsu transfers the audio to a linked Intercom fuuinjutsu located within 50 meters.

Secret Message
D-Ranked Augment Fuuinjutsu
Shizuo draws a seal on the outer margins of a scroll or paper. After writing on the paper, the user channels a small amount of chakra to activate the seal. The ink of the message merges with the seal to conceal the words and the seal goes dormant. Once the seal is activated again, the words reappear from the seal.

Shizuo draws a small seal on a target. When activated after channeling his chakra, the seal records and transmits the target’s vital signs such as heart rate, oxygen levels, blood pressure, and chakra levels to a Monitor seal.

Shizuo draws an array on a surface, usually the walls of a room, and then performs hand seals to activate it. The seal makes the space sound proof, preventing any sounds from within the area to be heard on the opposite side.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will chant off a list of words, then they’ll then touch the target’s tongue as the seal forms on it. As long as the seal remains on the target's tongue, their ability to speak those words is removed.

After drawing the necessary seals on the object, the user will imbue the object with a strength equal to their [Control]. The size of this fuuinjutsu is contextual in terms of the object it is applied to and the strength it is enhanced to. For example, if imbued with 50 strength the object will have 90% of its surface space covered, while if only imbued with 25 strength roughly under half of its surface space would be taken up by the seal.

By placing a seal on the back of an eye and a secondary surface, then performing a short set of seals, the user creates a visual link between the two. Anything the eye sees is transmitted in color detail across the surface.

After drawing a seal in the air in front of him, Shizuo forms the needed hand seals and then activates the seal. The seal releases a wall of suiton that is 10 meters long and 7 meters high. It forms at [Control] speed and strength. The wall lasts for 5 posts or until destroyed.

The Grasp of Enenra

Shizuo draws four seals, and then performs hand seals to link them together into a square area no more than 20x20 meters large. Anyone besides the user who enters the area will suffer -3 strength, per post, for 3 posts.

Shizuo draws a large seal containing empty spaces on a surface, and after performing the needed hand seals he activates the fuuinjutsu. He can then place additional Receptor seals within the Monitor fuuin. The Monitor seal allows Shizuo to receive information from up to [Control] Receptor seals within 3 miles, and he is able to interpret the seals based on their color, intensity, and pulse frequencies.

By performing the necessary hand seals, the user will can touch a number of targets up to her [Chakra Pool] on their ear and the lips, this creates an audio link between themselves and up to [Chakra Pool] targets they personally place this seal combination on. While hearing is always active, channeling chakra into the seal allows affected targets to speak, their words being stored and transmitted to the other seals. The user will draw out the needed seal on to another person's brain and perform the needed hand seals to start. Once the hand seals are done and chakra is flowing into the seal and brain, any memories, conscious or unconscious, experienced during this time will not be recorded by the brain and therefore unrecoverable. Once chakra is no longer being fed to the seal, it will stop preventing conscious and unconscious memories.

Sealed Shut

This seal is typically drawn on a box, cabinet, or other box-shaped item no larger than 3x3x3 meters. After drawing the seal Shizuo channels chakra to activate it. The seal adds an additional [Control/2] strength to the object in addition to preventing it from being opened. The object the seal is placed on cannot be opened unless the seal is destroyed or removed.

Through the use of acupuncture and their knowledge of pressure points, the user is able to quickly apply a series of pricks, leaving the needles in, that dulls pain in localized areas of the body or even the entire body. The pain dulling effects will last for up to 5 posts, at which points the needles will have to be removed and then replaced.

Through the use of needles, the user will target a series of pressure points on a targets back or chest, using it to stop signals from being transfered through their nervous system. This prevents movement, causes full body paralysis from the neck down in their patient, and dulls all pain receptors as well. While the technique has effective medical purposes, it can also be used in combat. The paralysis lasts for 4 posts before fading, at which points the needles must be removed and replaced to perpetuate the effect.

One who has mastered this discipline has an near unparalleled comprehension of anatomy and physiology. They are able to locate even the smallest of veins in any person, regardless of variances in shape or size. This knowledge extends to chakra systems, nervous systems, and anything else. Much of this knowledge extends into the biology of non-human species as well, though with less precision. This discipline, combined with enough accuracy, can turn even the simplest of attacks into a fatal blow.

Most major injuries must be first treated, as any untreated injuries would simply cause the patient to perish after resuscitation. Should the injuries be treated and this technique be initiated within 2 posts of the target's death, the user will applies pressure to a series of pressure points and begin CPR, bringing the patient back to life. This technique will inevitably fail if not initiated within the 2 post period.

Waterfall Country's samurai are the creators of Yoshin, a style of Kenjutsu honing one's precision to strike more precisely than any needle or arrow at the enemy's inherent weaknesses. The human body is full of natural weak spots and vulnerabilities, and Yoshin takes full advantage of those weaknesses in combat with calculated, precise, intelligent strikes and thrusts to cripple and cut down their opponent. Common joints, unseen nerve endings and nerve clusters, critical tendons and muscle groups, and even vital organs are all fair game to the users of Yoshin. The precision required for this style causes most users of its techniques to prefer short blades such as kodachi and wakizashi, often with serrated edges to maximize damage on the blade exiting the wound, though katana can still be used with this style.

After taking the opponent's side either offensively or after evading an attack, the practitioner draws a quick, firm slash across the opponent's side, such as their oblique, rib cage, or arm. The attack is intended to both injure and startle the opponent, often used to disrupt an opponent's attack or sequence of attacks with the severity of the damage. A unique attack within Yoshin, this particular technique is meant to dig as deeply into the opponent and create cuts as wide as possible, many times slashing into bones to cause as much long term damage as possible. The depth and width of the cut can also cause serious blood loss over time. Opponents with an Rigid Structure technique of equal or higher rank can limit the amount of damage this technique causes.

Looking to cause the opponent as much pain as possible with minimal energy or effort, the practitioner launches a quickly snapping thrust meant to slip through the ribcage and lightly cut the outside of one of the opponent's lungs. Aside from causing significant pain, an opponent hit by this technique will have difficulty breathing, causing future techniques they use to take up more Endurance due to oxygen deprivation.

With a very quick snapping slash or thrust, the practitioner attacks the back of the opponent's weapon-wielding hand or hands. Opponents hit by this technique must have an Endurance equal to or higher than the practitioner's Speed to avoid being disarmed or losing the use of the affected hand until the end of their next post. This technique is only useful for short term debilitation of the hands and cannot cause any significant long term damage on its own.

A technique to disarm opponents, the practitioner launches a snapping slash or thrust at the opponent's forearm, severing several key tendons in the forearm. The damage caused to the muscles and tendons in the forearm by this technique can cause an opponent to drop whatever they are holding. Aside from being disarmed and causing significant pain, this technique also imposes a persisting -3 Strength penalty on the opponent due to the damage the muscles have sustained. This penalty can be lifted if the opponent receives medical attention.

Targeting the opponents torso and abdomen, the practitioner launches a series of quick snapping slashes. These lashes produce a series of evenly spaced cuts across the target's abdomen and torso. While these cuts are not life-threatening, the damaged muscles prohibit the opponent from fully drawing strength from their core and back into their limbs. Aside from causing significant pain, this technique also imposes a persisting -3 Endurance penalty on the opponent due to the damage the muscles have sustained. This penalty can be lifted if the opponent receives medical attention.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Dropping low to the ground, the practitioner launches a quick, wide slash to the front of the opponent's shins. The cut targets a long nerve across the front of the shin which, if cut, can restrict the opponent's movements. Considering the size of the nerve being targeted and the relatively thin skin covering it, even cuts that only graze these nerves can be effective. Aside from causing significant pain, this technique also imposes a persisting -3 Speed penalty on the opponent due to movement of the legs becoming more difficult. This penalty can be lifted if the opponent receives medical attention.

Dropping low to the ground and hooking their blade around the back of an opponent's ankle, the practitioner draws a heavy slash against the ankle's tendon, immediately causing a jolt of intense pain. The pain causes even the slightest step to send shocks of pain through the nerve. Aside from causing significant pain, this technique also imposes a persisting -3 Speed penalty on the opponent due to being unable to place weight upon the foot. This penalty can be lifted if the opponent receives medical attention.

B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
A unique attack in Yoshin, the practitioner strikes the opponent’s temple with their fist, elbow, or the pommel of their sword’s hilt. The nerve cluster in the temple being struck sends a jolt of intense pain through the opponent’s brain and body, causing severe disorientation, uncontrollable shaking, and severe blurring and distortion of the opponent’s vision. The opponent suffers a -3 penalty to their Endurance and a -3 penalty to their Speed for four posts as the brain must recover from the shock unless the opponent has a Rigid Structure technique of equal or higher rank than this technique.

Useful both as a counterattack and as a technique on its own, the practitioner targets the weak point of a joint on their opponent’s body, such as under the shoulders through the armpit, into the elbow from the crook inside the arms, or behind the knees, and violently thrusts their sword through it, destroying the functioning tendons, muscles, and cartilage of the joint, potentially even ripping the affected bones from their sockets unless the opponent has a Rigid Structure technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. The damage caused by this technique is often permanent if the opponent does not seek highly skilled medical treatment.

Useful as a counterattack or as an attack all on its own, the practitioner momentarily torques the muscles in their arms before unleashing a violent flurry of slashes and thrusts. Aiming for various major veins and arteries on the body, this technique can be difficult to completely defend against as it targets multiple vastly different areas of the opponent’s body in the span of a single attack. Even one of these attacks landing can penetrate deep into the opponent’s flesh, puncturing or ripping open a major artery or vein, quickly leading to life-threatening blood loss unless the opponent has a Rigid Structure technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. Multiple hits scored by this technique can cause an opponent to bleed out in a manner of minutes unless they seek immediate medical attention.

A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 30 Speed.
Momentarily torquing every muscle in their body, the practitioner launches a flurry of slashes and strikes aiming for various vital arteries, veins, and organs. The incisions caused by this technique are so incredibly precise that, while at rest, an opponent affected by this technique will not lose much blood at all. However, should said opponent afflicted by this technique overuse their muscles (exerting more than 15 Strength in any action or utilizing more than 15 Speed in any action), large gouts of blood will spray and pour from their wounds. For each instance in which the afflicted opponent exceeds either of the pre-stated limits, they will suffer a -3 Endurance penalty. These penalties will trigger and stack each time the afflicted opponent exceeds the limits imposed by this technique, and the effect persists until the opponent receives medical attention.

A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 35 Speed.
A technique designed to utterly maim and debilitate one's opponent, the practitioner will launch a flurry of strikes, all targeting key muscle groupings, tendons, joints, and gaps in the skeletal structure such as the ribs and spine. As the strikes make contact and sink into the opponent's flesh, the practitioner will violently twist the blade upon entry and upon exit. The violent twist will cause miniature air pockets to form and violently expand in the wound with a Strength equal to half of the practitioner's Strength stat, rounded down. These air pockets worsen the damage and bleeding, rendering the affected parts of the body and any parts of the body directly connected to them immobile and paralyzed unless the opponent has a Rigid Structure technique of equal or higher rank than this technique that protects bones, muscles, or skin against damage. For example, a blow to the shoulder would render the entire arm below it limp, and a blow to the spine would render anything below the affected vertebrae paralyzed. This paralysis is permanent until the opponent seeks highly skilled medical attention.

Appearance: Dokka is a canine spirit. He is 49" (124 cm) tall, 36" (91 cm) tall, at the shoulder, and 43" (109 cm) in length, the size of a large Great Dane. He weighs 183 pounds. He is very muscular and appears hairless, but in reality is covered with very short hairs. His hair and skin is dark grey with a sickly green tint. Dokka has no eyes and is effectively blind. He has large, pointed ears and a very large jaw. When he opens his mouth his jaw appears larger than what would be considered normal.

Due to his body's poison creation abilities, his breath is always visible as a neon green smoke. Dokka's tongue is also abnormally large. When fully extended, his tongue is the length of his body. It is also hollow, so he can store poison within his tongue. His belly is swollen from storing poison within his body and it is cooler than the rest of his body.

Personality: Dokka is very aggressive, including toward his owner. He does not like Shizuo and only follows him due to the control the man has over him. Although he is hostile toward Shizuo he views the man as the alpha of the relationship. The spirit dislikes humans immensely. He allows Shizuo to call upon him and use his powers for only harm, and only eagerly follows the shinobi's commands if there is the promise of hurting other humans. He is capable of imitating human speech, but rarely communicates in this way.
History Dokka was born in a noxious realm that is difficult for even spirits to inhabit. The air itself is toxic, and the flora of the realm are often venomous or poisonous. The spirits within this realm have adapted to realm over the centuries and often create toxic substances themselves, or have evolved to be impervious to such effects. Dokka is part of a canine species that evolved to survive this otherwise uninhabitable world. Dokka was a strong pup, and as he aged he quickly grew to be the leader of his pack. He defended his position easily for decades, but this came to an end when a shinobi ripped him from the spirit world and forced him into servitude.

To his chagrin, Dokka passed from the hands of one shinobi to the another. After a decade in the shinobi world he was found by Shizuo, who subdued him by forcing him to possess a specialized orb that would contain him and allow Shizuo to safely access his powers. Like shinobi before him, Dokka was subject to seemingly endless experiments in order to understand and control his powers. Due to these experiences he loathes humans and longs to be free to return to his realm and his pack.

Dokka’s Bane
A-Ranked Gas and Coating Poison
A toxin derived from the body of a malevolent spirit known as Dokka. The toxin takes effect immediately, causing intense pain to radiate from the wound to the rest of the body. The veins surrounding the wound bulge and inflame, turning a sickly green; this will spread as the toxin spreads through the body. Over the next three posts, the toxin breaks down muscle and nervous tissue and the chakra network, reducing the victim’s ability to move and manipulate chakra. By the third post, the victim will be rendered unable to manipulate chakra and will have limited motor movement. Unless the poison is neutralized and the spirit exorcised, the toxin will begin to cause full body paralysis by the 7th post. If, at any point, the toxin is neutralized but the spirit is not exorcised and removed, the spirit will regenerate the poison after 8 posts.

Dokka is a malevolent spirit whose body naturally creates and stores poisons. Dokka can utilize them with additional jutsu such as fuuton, suiton, and the like. He is able to detach part of his spirit into objects and people; when injected, the detached spirit acts as a toxin that carries the effects of his poisons. Due to the nature of this ability, any poison released this way cannot be cured using iijutsu alone, but must be extracted using tenkujutsu after the poison is neutralized, as the spirit will remain and regenerate the poison.

After doing the needed tongue seals, the user gathers wind around their feet. Then, the user will use the wind to blast them from the ground, enabling them to leap into the air an extra 10 meters at [Control] speed. The Fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

After performing the needed tongue seals the user creates a clone of themselves comprised completely of fuuton chakra. This clone has the user's stats and can perform D rank fuuton jutsu. It lasts for [Control/5] posts. If used within the limits of the Transform jutsu, upon dissipating it will release a cloud of Dokka's Bane in an area covering 15x15x15 meters. The cloud fades after 4 posts, and the poison no longer has any affect.

[Sensory Style • Approaching Breeze]
C-rank Ninjutsu
Dokka will do a series of tongue seals and then release waves of fuuton from his body. These waves of chakra will bounce back to the user after traveling out 50 meters in the air. As the chakra returns to the user it will evoke an image in the users head of the immediate area around them, anything in the air and anything up to 5 meters in the air. These are still images, not moving images, but can give the user a good idea of what is happening if they aren’t able to see otherwise.

After performing the required tongue seals, Dokka manipulates the poison within his body to be used in conjunction with fuuton. For the next six posts, any Fuuton jutsu used by Dokka will be infused with his Bane poison.

After making the required tongue seals, the user will focus chakra into their mouth. They will release the wind chakra as a large sphere with a 10m radius at [Control] Speed, which has a maximum range of 40m. Should the target be hit within the first 20m, the attack will inflict the maximum amount of damage, causing a [Control] Strength explosion, spreading cutting winds capable of slicing close to the bone over the same area. Should they be struck in the last 20m, it will only apply [Control/2] Strength.

In a pinch, Dokka performs tongue seals then floods his body with chakra to enhance his body's muscles, granting him +6 strength for 5 posts or until dispelled. However, this affects his ability to focus on his seals and chakra use, resulting in -6 control. The technique last 5 posts or until dispelled.

While possessing an item, Dokka can channel his chakra and then forcibly cause his spirit to fracture and release a piece of himself after impacting a person or object. This allows him to release and directly inject his Bane poison into a target.

Dokka will activate their sensory jutsu, and focus on one source of chakra they can sense. By doing an additional tongue seal, and holding said seal, the user will be able to continue to sense that source of chakra, even if they are moving around, so long as they are holding the seal. If they, or the chakra source, moves out of range, the user will lose track of them.

Prerequisites: *[Sensory Style • Beyond Senses], 20 Control
This jutsu is an extension of [Beyond Senses]. With this jutsu initiated, a sensor can focus on individual chakra signatures to get a precise idea of where their opponents are at up to 25 meters. A general sense of the direction and number of chakra sources can be determined at up to 75 meters away. It should be noted that this jutsu requires intense concentration, often making the user shut their eyes so they can focus on the jutsu solely. Even with high levels of Chakra Control, this jutsu can be mentally taxing as it requires the user to sort through the individual chakra sources in the sensor’s range.
