  • Face/head: Asuma has a really recognizable face. He loves to paint around his right. He has a darker shade of blue eyes. He als has a bright blue color around his eye, along with a blue line from the middle of his right forehead going down through the blue on his eye to the top right part of his mouth. Although he has black hair, he loves to dye his hair different colors. At the moment, he chose to dye his hair a bright purple color. Over his forehead and around his head, he wears a bright yellow headband with the Sunagakure no Sato symbol on the front.
  • Body: He has the average body of a 14 year old. Although he is somewhat muscular from rigorous ninja training, he is relatively normal looking and does not have any significant scars or tattoos on his body.
  • Notable Features: His most notable features are his blue paint on his face and his unnatural hair color. He also doesn't wear traditional sand clothing because he deems them as "boring".
Clothing/Accessories: Asuma wears a black sleeveless shirt under all of his clothing, which he ripped at the neck. He ripped it to allow his white scarf (located on his neck) to fit around it perfectly. He wears a bright blue zip up t-shirt that goes to his waist and stops in the middle of his biceps. The shirt is yellow on the inside and has yellow stripes that look like armbands around 4 inches from the ends of the shirt. The bottom of the shirt also has they yellow stripe, but it is at the bottom. He wears black fingerless gloves that are connected to a red fishnet clothing. The red fishnet clothing goes to the end of his forearm and is closed off by black material that is exactly the same as his gloves, making the whole set up on his arms one whole piece. Around his waist, which is covered by his shirt, he wears a yellow belt with holes all around it. The belt has a second part attached which goes down to his right side. It stops on the side of his right thigh and holds a dark gray ninja pouch there. He wears dark gray shorts that go down to the top of his shins. Right where his knees would be, he wears red fishnet that actually are part of the pants. They only cover 4 inches in height, but are all around the pants. He wears dark gray ninja sandals. On the exposed skin on his right side, he wears white wrappings. Over his left leg, he wears two little dark gray straps that are buckled at the front.
  • General: Asuma strives to be better than everyone else. He has pretty specific goals and in order to achieve them he feels as though he has to get stronger and gain merit. For a lack of a better word, Asuma is known for being rather immature. He loves to joke around, play, and speaks his mind which can often times get him in trouble. He does this as a defense mechanism to avoid serious situations. He knows more than most how serious his situation is and will never give up his dream. Asuma loves to make friends and hang out with them. Although Asuma is often regarded as a goofy child who can't take much serious, internally and privately it is quite the opposite.
  • Hopes/Dreams: He has simply one dream, to change Sunagakure for the better. The only way he can see to do that is to become the Kazekage.
  • Fears: Dying young and not being able to live up to his reputation.

Equipment: On his right pouch he has: 5 Shuriken, 3 Kunai, 2 Flash Bombs, and 2 Smoke bombs. On his back he has his "lucky" Katana sheathed in a black sheath. The Katana was passed down from his father, to his brother, to his sister, and as the last in the family he gets to keep it as his own. There is nothing special with the blade itself. It is a standard 2' bladed katana with a 7" black handle and a golden hand guard.

Toryu StyleShow
Toryu Kenjutsu:
Toryu Kenjutsu is a sword style originating from the Land of Pebbles that focuses on not just performing kenjutsu but also weaving close quarters style taijutsu into the bladework. Toryu's specialty is not only learning to capably slash a sword with one hand but also learning to use the hands, joints, legs and even the head to make frighteningly dangerous close quarters fighters. An inelegant style, it is commonly associated with the more 'rough' samurai but in truth it's reliance on two opposing impulses and control of the body makes it one of the more difficult Kenjutsu styles to learn. While usable with most blades, experienced fighters often prefer wakizashi, ninjato and even tanto daggers instead of katana for increased mobility.

D- Ranked Taijutsu Stance
Prerequisite: 5 Taijutsu
The signature stance of the style, Close Quarters teaches users of this style how to rapidly change the angle, position and even grip of their weapon without moving their hand from it's signature position at the user's waist for maximum versatility. Users of this style often assume a one foot forward, one back, slightly swayed stance to free up movement as well at the expense of leaving their center open.

D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 5 Speed
A basic technique of the style wherein the user moves in for a basic lunge-thrust with their weapon, only to turn in mid thrust and attempt to sweep their leg under the opponent's own. This tends to be useful as a basic feint and can usually knock down those with less strength than the user who get caught by it.

D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 5 Strength
After rushing in on a foe and initiating an attack the user waits for the opponent to guard, either with arm or weapon, before quickly lashing out with their hand or pommel of their blade and attempting to smash the guarding hand or arm aside with a wrist smash. The pain as well as damage can interrupt the guard of opponents, leaving them wide open for the initial attack to hit.

D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: *[Toryu • Close Quarters] , 5 Taijutsu
A dangerous close quarters 'option closer', the Toryu user will sweep in close and try to slam their foot down on an opponent's as well as quickly sweep their arm around the opponent's to lock their elbow with the user's own. This technique is usually utilized for setting up blows or blocking off the weapons of dual-wielding foes and it forces the opponent to break out of the move before counter-attacking.

D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 5 Taijutsu, 5 Strength
The user of this technique will attempt to block the blow of his opponent with his blade, relying heavily on the durability of their weapon and their own strength to resist the strength of the opponent's attack. Should they be successful, the user will follow up with a swift kick to the target's chest or stomach to push them away and stun them, then follow up with a quick stab to the chest or stomach.

The practitioner is able to knock multiple arrows upon a single shot, loosing all of them simultaneously. Their accuracy suffers from this, taking a cumulative -2 Strength for each additional shot.

The practitioner is able to shoot in arcs up and over most obstacles, being able to accurately hit a target that is behind obstructions as if they were in the open. Granted, they must know of their target’s location or have another means of detecting them.

This allows the user to hit a moving target so long as it is moving in a way predictable to the user. They must still take into account travel time, and sudden changes in path will still affect the outcome.

The user will hold multiple projectiles in their hands to reduce the amount of time needed between each shot. By launching their shot at the proper angle the practitioner is capable of bouncing their projectile off solid surfaces without losing accuracy. Any surface they bounce off causes the projectile to lose ⅕ of its impact strength and soft or uneven surfaces are impossible to bounce off.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By releasing two projectiles back to back the user attempts to create a decoy for the second. The first projectile is often larger or of equal size and the second is slightly behind and below it, usually attempting to hide in the first’s shadow. This masks the attack to some degree. However, perceptive opponents who have an instinct greater than the user’s tai may be able to see through the charade, provided they have means to do so.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
By adding a spin to the weapon before it is launched the user is able to give the it a warping motion as it flies through the air. With much practice, the user is able to predict the weapon’s shifting motion and aim accordingly. This can be used to hit a target that is hiding behind another person or object, and is especially useful against a human shield.

The practitioner knows their own reliance on ammunition thus emphasizes never being caught without. With the right technique they are fully capable of launching nearly anything, so long as it possesses at least the mass of a standard kunai, they could otherwise throw or shoot as if it were designed to do so in the first place. Unfortunately, this has an impact on the strength of the impact in the form of a -3 strength.

D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
A rather simple genjutsu that is put into place when the user says a statement ending in "When Pigs Fly". Seconds later, anyone who hears the user say that will see several pigs with full hawk wings fly past, just a few feet above the user and the victim’s head, serving as a somewhat confusing distraction.

D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After performing the hand seals and pricking the opponent with some sort of small weapon (usually senbon), the opponent feels their arms and legs fall asleep. It feels as if the blood flow to these appendages has basically stopped, making their movements a tad sluggish and just all around uncomfortable. This jutsu doesn’t really hinder a person, but it makes everything they do feel off. For those who are attuned to the way their body feels during battle, it can be extremely distracting. Lasts 3 posts.

*[Genjutsu • Smell Of The Deceased]
D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, any victim that sees the user preforming the hand seals will be induced under the genjutsu. This causes the target to begin to smell rotting flesh and decaying bodies. The jutsu can cause nausea and vomiting from the target, depending on how sensitive their sense of smell is. The smell of the dead can also cause some mental stress on the target. This genjutsu lasts for three (3) posts.

D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
The user will do a series of hand seals, then point indiscriminately. Should the target see the pointing motion, they'll be captured in this genjutsu. For the following 4 posts, the target will see a shadow in the corner of their eyes, constantly shifting out of view when they attempt to look at it.

D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
The user will do a series of hand seals, then within the next post, snap their fingers. Anyone who hears the snapping will hear an explosion in the distance behind them. This works as an effective distraction, or a scare tactic, if properly utilized.

*[Genjutsu • Doubt]
C-Ranked Status Genjutsu
The user will do a series of hand seals, then whistle, initiating the genjutsu in anyone who hears the whistle. For the next three posts, the victims of this technique will feel tinges of doubt when listening to other people talk. While the doubt isn't strong, it creates a slight feeling that can be used to dissuade them from following instructions of other people if utilized properly.

*[Genjutsu • Demonic Illusion • Hell Viewing]
C-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
This is a genjutsu technique that causes its target to see a horrifying vision. The ninja will perform some hand seals and make eye contact with the target. Once cast, the world will appear normal to the target until they see the illusion. The illusion is at the discretion of the user. However, they can only make a stationary image, or a visual loop, not a controllable visual illusion. Examples would be a decapitated head on a table, or one of their friends running in circles on fire. This illusions may only last up to 4 posts, or until the user ends the jutsu themselves. As a note, this only effects sight.

*[Genjutsu • Burning to Death]
C-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
This is a genjutsu technique which can be used in quite a few ways. The user forms a hand seal, and as long as the opponent(s) see it, then the genjutsu will begin. The user and the opponent(s) will both light on fire and start to burn, from the feet up to the head, in the opponent's mind. The opponent will normally start to panic and try to get rid of the fire, especially since they feel as if they were in actual pain. This genjutsu lasts for 4 posts and will not appear to be able to be extinguished, no matter what the victim does. The illusion is very static, in the sense that it doesn't change with the environment, it merely creates an illusory flame and pain.

*[Genjutsu • Reverse Hypnosis]
C-Ranked Status Genjutsu
This is a three post genjutsu. To start the genjutsu, the ninja does the hand seals that are needed and then places a hand on the target. Until the genjutsu ends the target is able to remember a lot more about their past and has a lighter barrier over their consciousness making it easier for them to spill information. This doesn’t weaken their will, however, meaning if they are aware it’s a genjutsu, they are more than capable of using Kai.

*[Genjutsu • Dull Pain]
C-Ranked Status Genjutsu
The user does the needed hand seals, and then locks eyes with the target to trap the target in the genjutsu. For the next 10 posts, any pain that the target feels as if nothing really happened, effectively lessening all pain and nerve responses. The target would still be damaged, but any damage done to them would feel as though it hadn't happened, and as such they will usually overestimate their own stamina.

Chapter 1: When Life Was Easy Asuma was born into a ninja family. His father died before he was born due to a fatal mission and his mother died concieving him. He is the youngest of 3 children. His siblings look after him like he is their own. His older brother is 22 and his older sister is 19. They do everything together. Asuma's brother is part of the defensive unit for the village, while his sister is a teacher at the academy. During the Academy, his siblings spent all of their free time teaching Asuma. He went through lots of training and didn't make too many friends because of it. Through his training at home and paying attention in class he graduated from the Academy top in his class. When he became a Genin, he noticed that not that many people knew who he was. This made him sad, until he figured out the best way for people to notice him. Asuma decided to change his look dramatically. He went from wearing the traditional Sunagakure clothing, to bright and colorful clothing. He even went as far as to paint his face and dye his hair! It was obvious that this was one way to get someone's attention. Asuma grabbed the attention from a lot of his previous classmates, but not positive attention. Asuma didn't mind he used it as a way to get noticed. Asuma dyed his hair bright red, but when he decided to take the Chuunin Exams he chose to dye it purple. Asuma didn't mind the attention whether it was negative or positive, as long as people recognized him. He figured it was the first step in gaining merit; for people to know you. Asuma's battle technique was unique compared to the other ninja. A lot of ninja relied on Ninjutsu or Taijutsu and didn't pay too much attention to Genjutsu. This gave Asuma an edge, especially because he loved to use Genjutsu in combat. He took on the Chuunin Exams with confidence and came out with the rank. Now as the brightly colored Chuunin, Asuma is excited to take strides forward to becoming the Kazekage.

Janesisu no Toukougenma
The Phantom Beast of Heaven

The Toukougenma, commonly referred to as the Heaven Genma, is a Genma sealed away and controlled by [Sunagakure no Sato]. The Toukougenma has the unique ability to create matter from chakra and bestows that power to it's host. The Toukougenma has Four Forms which defines the strength of their creations. The Toukougenma is compatible with only those who have a Fuuton affinity.
Influences: The host's skin gains a glittery aspect, making so they shimmer and glimmer in the sun. White chakra develops and the host's eyes turn completely black and what appears to be stars, nebulas and galaxies form within, this change offers no change in the user's vision or any doujutsu they may have.
Longterm Drawbacks: The host slowly starts to become more and more show-offy, wanting to show off anything they can do, making as many friends in the process.
Personality: Janesisu is one of the smaller and cuter of the Genma and her personality matches her appearance. She is generally in a cheery mood and is known for being a little flirtatious from time to time. She uses her flirtatious demeanor and her sheer intelligence to manipulate those around her into getting what she wants. She is prone to insulting those around her, but disguising them as jokes in her cheerful demeanor. Getting away with manipulating and insulting people has caused Janesisu to become arrogant. Her arrogance causes her to show off her talents frequently.
Notes: The heaven genma is able to create matter, but not energy. This means that the genma can create matter in any form, but it will quickly return to it's proper state given the environment. This means lava will cool very quickly, while ice may melt, or may not. While they can create something capable of motion, they cannot create something with motion. This means they cannot make a giant ball of stone that rolls forward, but would instead require some form of locomotion, or energy from another source to roll. The jinchuurinki is able to create within [Mastery x3] meters of their body, so long as what they are creating would not immediately impact another human being.

Additionally, their eyes will begin to glow white, the galaxies in their iris's overwhelmed by the light. They are able to use creation jutsu, depending on their Mastery and Ninjutsu stats. Creations in this form are limited to the prior form and inanimate objects that are made of multiple materials. The number of things created can be in quantity, but not mass quantity. For small objects, it's limited to how much the shinobi would be able to carry on their person, while large objects cannot be bigger than the size of a horse.

Form 2 The white chakra coming off the host will become silvery in color, and began to form a sort of aura around the host the glimmers around their movement. Their skin will still shine in the light, and the light from their eyes will become brighter. They are able to use creation jutsu, depending on their Mastery and Ninjutsu stats. Creations in this form are limited to the prior form and animated objects of a single material that exist in the Naruto-verse. Animated objects is a broad term for any moving objects. The animate objects cannot be bigger than a horse, and are created with a command in addition to the jutsu. They are not conscious beings, meaning they do not have a wit stat, cannot communicate, and are not effected by genjutsu. They are essentially drones, created for a single purpose. They will sit idle doing nothing if their function is complete.
Stat Changes: +5 Stamina, +3 Ninjutsu, +1 Instinct, +1 Speed
Form 3As the host moves into form 3, their silver cloak will become tighter to their skin, causing their whole body to gleam in the light, additionally, around their arms the silver cloak will become like ribbons, wrapped around in a spiral shape. In addition to their glowing white eyes, opening their mouth will produce the white glow as well. They are able to use creation jutsu, depending on their Mastery and Ninjutsu stats. Creations in this form are limited to the prior form, however they are no longer limited in size or quantity for inanimate objects.

Form 3 AscendedHaving mastered the Genma to some length, the host is able to actively enter into this state and any of it's predecessors at ease. While indistinguishable from Form 3, Form 3 ascended is slightly stronger than it's predecessor.

Form 4In the final form, the host's chakra coating grows, the spiral wrapping around their arms comes undone, creating ribbons that flow around their body with movement. The white light from their eyes completely occludes any view of their eyes, and they mouth will still glow white when they open their mouths. The hosts body will be completely wrapped in silver and glisten in the light. They are able to use creation jutsu, depending on their Mastery and Ninjutsu stats. Creations in this form are limited to the prior form and groups of animate objects that exist in the Naruto-verse. Their animate creations are no longer limited in size or quantity.
