- Face/head: Asura's head is made up entirely of grayish-brown mutated flesh, and has various feeler-type extensions coming off of the back that give him the appearance of hair. His skull is also covered in eyeballs, all of which have black sclerae and yellow irides as per the usual with the Toukai Clan.
- Body: Asura's body is also covered entirely in grayish-brown mutated flesh that seems to writhe and shift all on it's own. His emaciated form is eerily complimented by the the series of tentacles that extend from his hips, almost like a skirt of flesh. His four arms are uncharacteristically long, even for one of his large size.
- Notable Features:Many of the most notable features of Asura's body can be found in the spoiler located in his second ability slot, "The Gift Of Living Flesh".
- General: Asura, despite all of his monstrous qualities and horrible appearance, is actually a relatively mild mannered man. The type that would converse with you like nothing was wrong, like he wasn't a terrible creature of immense power and sickening infection. He'd be willing to walk you through your problems, to be your shoulder to cry on, and in your weakest, darkest moment, he'd extend a hand to you to pull you from the abyss in which you find yourself and awaken you to your true potential.
Of course, this is all because everyone's 'true potential' is to become like him; mutated and malformed, hideously misshapen, horrid masses of nauseating flesh with no start and no end. As a priest of K'thnguh, the God of All Flesh, Asura sees himself as a conduit to the people, the middle man between his god and those who have yet to see the truth. As such, it is his duty in life to awaken everyone's eyes to that which he has seen, to show them the glory that awaits them if they simply accept his gifts. In some cases, he may manipulate or turn someone against their will, typically as a means of combat or torture to those who truly abhor him. However, in most cases he will only willingly touch the willing and prepared, as even he is not one to force his god on everyone.
No, instead he believes that by showing the power of his god to the world, the masses will flock to him in droves, begging to become part of K'thnguh's cult. It is with this intention in mind that he has become what he is to the public; a missing ninja of unimaginable power, capable of terrifying feats of power and crimes against humanity, without a shred of conscience or a single care for the world. In the end, all will be as he is. K'thnguh is coming, and it is up to Asura to bring as many into his loving embrace as possible before his coming wipes out all those who are unclean in the eyes of the God of All Flesh.
- Hopes/Dreams: Asura dreams of the day when all life is as he is, and all bow before The God of Flesh, his master K'thnguh.
- Fears: Asura fears very little in this world, although he's not fond of those who have shed their skin for other mediums such as elemental bodies. Whether this is due to a fear of being defeated by someone he is unable to infect, or a general distrust of anyone who would shed their flesh, is unclear.
- Combat Mentality: Asura's grotesque abilities are enough to terrify even the most ironclad of shinobi, and this is further cemented by his abilities in combat. The man is a living, breathing cancer, inflicting hideous mutations on his enemies that debillitate them in numerous ways. He seeks to corrupt the very land itself, using his Toukai techniques to plague the battlefield with The Flesh That Hates in an effort infect as many people as possible, before utilizing other techniques to cripple them beyond compare, leaving them unable to defend themselves from the horrific spawn he creates. His own unique form helps to ensure that he will survive most wounds without much issue. Asura is a pox upon the world, and any who dare to fight him will find themselves malformed beyond all recognition before death takes them.

Abilities and Concentrations
Viral Protocol:Infected with a virus at a young age, Toukai are able to activate the virus locally, or globally, rapidly developing tissue and cartilage. While the local development can be rather easily manipulated for a wide variety of uses, global development tends to create highly specialized, and violent transformations that boost the overall abilities of the Toukai. The virus chews away at the chakra circulatory system as it does so, and causes blood to actually seep into the chakra system, turning the users chakra red when utilizing Viral Protocol. Viral Protocol operates in stages: Partial, Half, and Full, and stimulates the instinctual centers of the brain which tends to drive the Toukai further into primal rages with each stage.
Half Transformation DescriptionShowAs stated in his ability "The Gift of Living Flesh", Asura does not have a half transformation.
The Gift of Living Flesh:Asura is by no means a normal Toukai, and this is most prominently displayed by his most unique quailty; He is always in his full Toukai form. In fact, Asura does not have a partial form, or a human form, and thus his full form and all of it's benefits are listed in a spoiler at the bottom of this ability. Whether this is the result of some curse, or a genetic mutation, or some kind of kinjutsu technique is a matter of debate, largely because he has never revealed the truth. Regardless of the origin, this oddity has a various number of benefits, the first of which is that he has no stat boosts or debuffs as a result of being in his full form since it requires no chakra from him to assume his form. The second is that his entire body is mutated in some way, and while he does have 'organs' within his body, almost none of them are vital to his survival as his body will always mutate in such a way that the punctured or damaged organs are no longer necessary to live. This, in essence, is a Psuedo immortality ability, with his 'core' being the brain in his skull. As such, only destruction of that brain can result in his demise. The final trait related to this particular gift is also based on his ability to mutate in such ways that his body's damage is negligable. This is a regeneration ability, requiring -5 stamina from his sheet permanently to represent the constant drain of his body's unyielding mutation.Full Transformation DescriptionShowAsura's body is an amalgamation of hideous tentacles, eyeballs and mouths of gnashing teeth. To be more precise, all along his hips are a total of 12 tentacle-like extensions, all of which are prehensile and can stretch up to 2 meters from his body. Above those tentacles he has what appears to be an emaciated stomach, giving him an unnatural hourglass-like figure. His chest is somewhat normal, and extending from that chest are his normal two arms, albeit they are massively elongated to reach his knees when resting by his side. In addition, extending from his back below the shoulderblades are two additional arms, jointed in such a way that they can reach in front of him or behind him. All four of these arms also have mouths attached to their palms, capable of biting with gnarled teeth and tearing flesh. Lastly, his head is covered in a series of feelers that come off of the back of his head like hair, all of which can be controlled as if they were limbs and thus can be used to hold things like scrolls and weapons. The man's actual head is covered in a series of eyeballs, granting him vision of his entire surroundings all at once. These eyes can be closed or opened at will in such a way that he appears to not have eyelids, granting him the appearance of an eyeless creature if he so desires.
The Flesh That Hates:Another of Asura's Toukai oddities, the man's mutated flesh seemingly has a mind and will of it's own, and it seeks only one thing; Assimilation. Anything that bears his mutation chakra within it, including himself and any jutsu produced by him, all contain traces of this sentient flesh he calls 'The Flesh That Hates'. This means that anyone that makes physical contact with any of his mutations is considered 'infected' by his flesh after a 1 post onset time, enabling him to thereafter utilize specific mutation jutsu to enact various effects on the infected individual. The target will notice that the skin near the area of contact will immediately begin to form a red, itchy rash, letting them know that something is amiss. In addition, if the target's Stamina is greater or equal to Asura's control, they can resist the infection entirely. Lastly, while the general onset timer is 1 post, some stronger jutsu may require more time to be utilized, as dictated by staff. Because of the all-Assimilating nature of The Flesh That Hates, Asura must dedicate -5 Control to preventing it from consuming himself as well.
Storage & Force Fuuinjutsu:Storage & Force Fuuinjutsu
This user is able to utilize Storage Fuuinjutsu and Force Fuuinjutsu, making it possible for them to utilize any jutsu with the Storage or Force Classification. Storage Fuuinjutsu can be used to store supplies, weapons, armor, or anything in between. Force Fuuinjutsu are used to release, counteract, and capture energy.
Charge & Augment Fuuinjutsu:Charge& Augment Fuuinjutsu
This user is able to utilize Charge & Augment Fuuinjutsu, making it possible for them to utilize any jutsu with the Charge & Augment Classification. Charge Fuuinjutsu are used to create jutsu-like effects using seals. Augment Fuuinjutsu are used to enhance or limit the power of whatever they are placed on.
This concentration allows for the user to user chakra to affect the biological processes of a living creature. This includes modifying, speeding up, or slowing down the biological processes. Iijutsu is known for it's advanced nature and requires precise chakra control to work effectively. It can be differentiate from normal techniques by the faint light green colour of the chakra used in Iijutsu techniques.
Sight Initiation:This user has learned to use visual cues to initiate genjutsu. Allowing them to perform actions, or draw the eyes to something to capture their targets in a genjutsu.
Sound Initiation:This user has learn to use sound cues to initiate genjutsu. Allowing them to create sounds and sustain sounds to capture their targets in a genjutsu.
Touch Initiation:This user has learn to use physical sensations to initiate genjutsu. Allowing them to physical touch the target, or touch them with objects to capture their targets in genjutsu.
Sensor Initiation:This user has learned to use their chakra's presence to initiate genjutsu. Allowing them to initiate genjutsu in people who notice them with sensory techniques.
Warp Genjutsu:This user has learned to combine the basics of Status and Illusion genjutsu, allowing them to use single techniques to create sensory illusions, as well as status changes on their target.
Tenkujutsu:The users of this style have a strong affinity towards spirits, and are able to utilize certain chakra techniques based off of spirits. Those with the affinity have a Maroon color tint to their chakra when using these techniques. Tenkujutsu jutsus fall underneath their own pyramid, and do not have ties to Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, or Genjutsu.
In the event Asura wishes to cancel a target's mutation painlessly, A few simple hand seals allow him to use this jutsu to do just that. Funneling a small bit of chakra through their body via touch, he will render the mutation immediately inert, halting all effects instantly.
Asura performs a series of hand seals before forming a basketball sized glob of flesh in one of his hands. He will then toss this glob of flesh at a location like a throwing weapon, and it will then stick to the area of contact with 5 strength. The orb will then mutate and form several mouths with tongues and gnarled teeth, which all begin to yell incoherent speech and gibberish, creating a cacophony of voices. This orb will continue constantly creating this maddening sound for 3 posts before the flesh becomes inert and dissolves.
Asura will perform a series of hand seals before focusing intently on a mass of flesh created by him within a 20 meter radius of him. Then, in an instant, he will swap places with that mass of flesh, Asura appearing where it once was and vice versa. This consumes one of his two teleports per thread.
~Cartilage Tool Creation
After forming the correct hand seals, the user is able to cause a set off up to 10 basic projectiles (ie. kunai, shuriken, or senbon) made of cartilage to grow out of the skin of their hands. These tools have a strength of 5.
Asura performs a series of hand seals before funneling chakra through his form, mutating his unique Toukai body. In this form, Asura grows a series of 1 inch long barbed spikes over every inch of his body save for his hands, head and feet. This discourages anyone from touching or attempting to damage him with their own bodies. The spikes each have 5 strength, and last for 3 posts before reverting to normal. Asura can revert his body back to normal on command with a single hand seal.
Asura performs hand seals before funneling chakra through his form, mutating his unique body. In this form, Asura's body is capable of shifting and reforming itself to avoid attacks, almost as if his body were made of rubber or soft clay. This does not apply to his brain, however, as his brain must remain unchanged. In addition, his body must remain whole during this time; he cannot melt or act as if he were liquid. This mallibility remains for 3 posts before he must recast the technique, however he may end it prematurely with a single hand seal.
Eyes of the Flesh God
Asura performs a series of hand seals, forming a glob of flesh in his hands the size of a golf ball. He then places or throws this orb at a particular location, the orb sticking to a solid surface with 5 strength before opening up into an eyeball. Asura can see through this eyeball as if it were his own as long as he is within 50 meters of it, and it lasts for 5 posts before dissolving into inert flesh. He can have as many as (control/10) of these eyes active at any one time, but each eye requires an individual cast.
Meat Mallet Mutation
Prerequisite: Target('s) must be infected by "The Flesh That Hates"
Asura will perform a series of hand seals before focusing his attention on as many as (control/10) targets within 30 meters of his position. Any target that is currently infected by his ability 'The Flesh That Hates' will find that their hands suddenly lump together with flesh, forming into fists of flesh that cannot unfold without injuring the afflicted. This mutation prevents the target from any form of dexterous hand movements, including wielding a weapon and hand seals. The excess flesh can be ripped through with 10 strength, but to do so would cause great pain and injury to the hands, as the flesh has bonded together with their own flesh. The mutation will last for 5 posts before the flesh becomes inert and falls apart on it's own, freeing the afflicted's hands.
Lesser Reach Form
Asura will perform a series of hand seals while funneling chakra throughout his unique body. With this mutation, Asura's arms and tentacles all become much stretchier, forming excess skin while the bones within become much more fluid, yet strong enough to maintain rigidity and form. With this, the various appendages of his body are able to stretch up to 10 meters from his body, for up to 5 posts, or until Asura cancels the jutsu with a single hand seal.
After using the required hand seals, the user will form a perfect copy of himself out of his flesh. The clone's flexible nature makes it a capable Taijutsu combatant, however, it is unable to use Jutsu. The close has the following stats:

Prerequisite: Target('s) must be infected by "The Flesh That Hates"
Asura will perform a series of hand seals, focusing his attention on as many as (control/10) Targets within 30 meters of him. Any target that has been infected by "The Flesh That Hates" will be wracked with pain as two tentacles of mutated flesh suddenly bursts from their shoulders. The tentacles are not under their control, and instead they aim to wrap themselves around the afflicted's throat, choking with 10 strength and moving with 10 speed. The afflicted can rip the tentacles from their bodies if they are stronger than them, but to do so would cause great pain and moderate injury to themselves. They last for 5 posts unless removed, at which point they become inert flesh and dissolve away, leaving their exit wounds in the target's shoulders.
Ground of Flesh
Asura will perform a series of hand seals before diverting chakra into the ground at his feet. This chakra expands from his position with 10 speed to a max range of 50 meters, coating everything touched in thick red flesh. Trees become spires of cartilage and fiber, branches become ligaments, the ground itself becomes covered in muscle, making everything slippery and soft. Anyone with less than 20 Taijutsu, including himself, will find movement difficult on the ground or anything covered by this flesh. The flesh lasts for 6 posts before dissolving to nothing.
Roiling Pulse of Flesh
Asura will perform a series of hand seals before diverting chakra into the ground at his feet. This chakra builds underneath him before bursting upwards in all directions, with him at the epicenter of the burst. In all directions from his position, a 5 meter tall mass of flesh begins to flow across the earth like a wave, impacting everything with blunt force and 30 strength and moving at 10 speed. Once it reaches it's maximum range of 30 meters, the flesh falls apart and becomes useless.
Prerequisite: Target('s) Must be infected by "The Flesh That Hates"
Asura will perform a series of hand seals, focusing his attention on up to (control/10) targets within 50 meters of him. Any of these targets that have been infected by "The Flesh That Hates" will suddenly be wracked with pain as their legs fuse together into a single mass of flesh, making normal walking impossible. The flesh holds together with 20 strength, but if torn will lead to great injury and pain as the flesh bonding their legs together tears their true flesh away in the process of tearing. This mutation lasts for 5 posts, during which time the target will suffer -6 speed unless they tear through the mutated flesh and free their legs. At the end of the duration, the flesh falls apart, granting them use of their legs again.
Asura will perform a series of hand seals before funneling this chakra throughout his unique body. In doing so, Asura's body will become thick with callous skin and rigid chitinous armor surrounding all of his body. This armored form takes shape at a sluggish speed of 5, but reinforces his form with 35 strength for the duration of 6 posts, or until Asura cancels the jutsu with a single hand seal.
Flight of Cthulhu
Asura will perform a series of hand seals, funneling chakra into either his back or a target he is in physical contact with. Whomever this jutsu is cast on, the target will sprout two dragon-like wings made entirely of flesh and cartilage. These wings last for 6 posts, during which time the target can use them to fly at a speed equal to either their speed or control stat, whichever is lower. This flight comes with no drawbacks.
Curse of The God of Flesh
Prerequisite: Target('s) Must be infected by "The Flesh That Hates"
Asura performs a series of hand seals, focusing his attention on up to (control/10) target opponents within 70 meters of him. If those targets are infected by "The Flesh That Hates", they will be wracked by crippling pain as fleshy tumors begin to form all over their face, first covering their eyes and ears before also covering their nose and mouth. This muffles all hearing, renders them completely blind, and threatens to suffocate them if they cannot tear away the tumors, which requires 25 strength and causes great pain to the afflicted as the mutated flesh is bonded to their own flesh, tearing it apart in the process. This mutation lasts for 5 posts, and if the target has not freed themselves by the 5th post and has less than 25 stamina, they will find themselves unconscious from oxygen deprivation as the flesh dissolves away. Those with 25 or more stamina will instead be incredibly winded and lightheaded, but otherwise unharmed, while those with 35 or more stamina will suffer no ill effects.
Protection of Shub Niggurath
Prerequisite: Target must be infected by "The Flesh That Hates"
Asura performs a series of hand seals, focusing his attention on up to (control/10) targets within 70 meters of his position. If those targets are infected by "The Flesh That Hates", they will suddenly be enveloped in flesh that quickly molds to their form before hardening into reinforced chitinous plating. This plating does nothing to inhibit movement, nor does it prevent hand seals, and it hardens with a speed of 5. However, once fully hardened, it resists blows of up to 45 strength for 6 posts before becoming inert and dissolving away.
Eldritch Beast of Ghatanothua
Asura begins by performing a series of hand seals, channeling chakra throughout himself as he prepares to create the Eldritch Beast. Once ready, he will vomit a small glob of mutated flesh that quickly churns and grows, pulsating until it takes the full form of a 20 meter tall mass of asymmetrical flesh, covered in various eyes, mouths and tentacles. The mouths covering this creature are constantly yelling gibberish over each other, creating a maddening cacophony of noise, while the eyes grant it 360 degree vision and the tentacles are used in various manners of attack. The creature is only capable of Taijutsu, and it's stats are as follows:
Prerequisite: Target('s) Must be infected by "The Flesh That Hates"
Asura will perform a series of hand seals, focusing his attention on a single target within 100 meters of him. If that target is infected by "The Flesh That Hates", they will be overcome with indescribable pain as excess flesh bursts forth all over their body. This flesh is incredibly dense and heavy, and grows to cover an area 50x50x50 meters at maximum at a speed of 35, totally encasing the target within hundreds of tons of dense, rigid cartilage and fiber. Unless the target can tear their way free from the grotesque masses of flesh, a feat that requires 35 or more strength and causes horrific pain to the target as their own flesh is torn in the process, the target will be crushed by the immense weight of the flesh that consumes them and die within 3 posts. This jutsu requires that targets be infected by "The Flesh That Hates" for 3 posts before Asura can mutate them. This bulbous flesh will remain for 7 posts total before dissolving from the battlefield.
This simple technique is utilized by medical-nin in place of traditional thermometers, although it is not as accurate. After forming a single handseal and focusing chakra into an object in his/her hand, the user can place it within the mouth (or rear) of the patient. If the patient's temperature is above normal body temperature, the chakra within the object will clump together near the top of it, while if the body temperature is below average, the chakra will form much lower down on the object. This technique can be held as long as the user has chakra.
*[Iijutsu • Chakra Gloves]
When real latex gloves are not on hand, the *[Iijutsu • Chakra Gloves] technique comes in quite handy. After forming a single handseal, the user will focus chakra into his/her hands to form a thin layer of chakra around them. This chakra will help to protect other objects against the bacteria on the user's hands if sterilization is not an option before beginning a procedure. This technique can be held as long as the user has chakra.
*[Iijutsu • Chakra Mask]
Not unlike the *[Iijutsu • Chakra Gloves] technique, *[Iijutsu • Chakra Mask] shines when the real deal is not on hand. After forming a single handseal, the user will focus chakra into the area around his/her mouth and nose to form a thin layer of chakra around them. This chakra will help to keep the user from breathing bacteria onto a patient during procedures. This technique can be held as long as the user has chakra.
*[Iijutsu • Sterilization Technique]
As sanitation cannot always be guaranteed in field operations, this technique provides a quick substitute to traditional sterilization methods. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will channel the chakra throughout his/her upper body (torso, arms, hands, face). This chakra will chew away at harmful bacteria and other foreign bodies on the skin, cleansing it until it is thoroughly sterile, and can be spread to objects, most commonly surgical tools. Of course, this takes both concentration and time, and in order to sterilize the entire upper body, it will take a duration of one (1) post. Users of this technique can also choose to sterilize certain parts of their upper body or the wounds of another person instead for a lesser concentration period. Once they are sanitized, they remain this way until coming in contact with more bacteria.
*[Iijutsu • Oxygen Flow]
Simple in its form yet highly effective in practice, the *[Iijutsu • Oxygen Flow] technique allows its users to clear obstructed airways, to perform less extensive CPR, and to give cells the oxygen they crave. After focusing chakra into the hands, the user will place both over the target's chest (through the back works as well). By allowing the chakra to be channeled throughout the lungs and up through the air ways, any unseen, solid or liquid obstructions will be cleared from these passages and ejected through the mouth, allowing the patient to breathe more easily. Additionally, the hands can be placed over the heart to help oxygenate the body's cells. In this instance, users must be much more careful, as over-oxygenating cells can cause more harm than good. This technique takes the entirety of one post to perform.
*[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]
This highly useful field technique is applied to bleeding wounds to help encourage the coagulation of the blood. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them over the bleeding wound and begin to channel chakra through it. The chakra will began to thicken the blood, causing it to clot. Wounds must be dealt with one at a time, and the number of wounds that can be tended to within the three (3) posts that this technique lasts depends on their size. Small wounds take very little time to clot, while moderate wounds take one (1) post of concentration to clot, and large wounds take two (2) posts to clot. Although this technique stops the bleeding, the wound remains vulnerable and will require further care after this has been performed.
*[Iijutsu • Skin Separation]
Typically used to make the autopsy process smoother, the *[Iijutsu • Skin Separation] technique separates the skin of the corpse from the underlying muscle. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will slowly move them over the desired area, usually holding them about an inch away from the body itself. As the chakra is channeled through the flesh, it will slowly sink to the final layer of the skin and begin to form a new layer between the skin and the muscle beneath. After this layer has fully formed, the chakra will stay there for four (4) posts, allowing the user to easily separate the flesh and muscle. This non-combat technique cannot be used on living beings as the postmortem physiology is different from that of a living creature.
*[Iijutsu • Burn Ointment Technique]
A relatively simple and handy technique to have at hand, *[Iijutsu • Burn Ointment Technique] is used to alleviate pain caused by burn wounds. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will hover them above the burn wound. As the chakra is channeled into and around the burn, it cools the area and works to prevent harmful, scar-producing blistering in the affected area. To provide this soothing relief to small areas of first degree burns, it's fairly quick to do. For small areas of second degree burns, it takes one (1) post of concentration to achieve the same effects. This technique is ineffective when applied to larger areas or burns worse than second degree.
*[Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching]
When traditional stitching supplies aren't available, *[Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching] truly shines. After performing a short set of handseals, the user will gently place his/her index finger at the base of the patient's wound. Once this is done, the user will lift his/her finger and touch it to the other side of the wound, causing a visible 'stitch' of chakra to appear. This is repeated until the wound has been pulled together. Although precision is key, this technique can still be performed relatively quickly. Small to moderate wounds take very little time to stitch, while large wounds will take one (1) post of work to mend. This technique drains a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attached to in order to keep the stitches going, theoretically, ad-infinitum, and can be cancelled at any time by the user with a single handseal. Any intensive or strenuous movements will cause the stitches to break.
*[Iijutsu • Bandage Technique]
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Sterilization Technique]
A simple yet vital medical technique, the *[Iijutsu • Bandage Technique] provides its users with the ability to create makeshift bandages out of any suitable material they desire. After channeling chakra into an object (such as a leaf, piece of cloth, etc.), the user is able to apply it to the wound of a patient. Once applied, the selected object will adhere to the flesh around the wound, protecting it from bacteria and other harmful foreign bodies. Objects used for the bandage technique are automatically sterilized in the process. These bandages drain a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attatched to in order to keep them stuck on, theoretically, ad-infinitum, and can be cancelled at any time by the user with a single handseal. While not as effective at stopping bleeding as the [Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching] technique, they hold on much better in the case that strenuous movement is necessary.
*[Iijutsu • Numbing]
This field-oriented technique is used in place of typical anesthetics when they're not at hand. After focusing chakra into the hands, the user will place them over a group of muscles. As the chakra is channeled through the chosen area, numbness will begin to creep throughout it, beginning with the flesh before seeping into the muscle below. Small areas of numbness require very little time, while medium-sized areas (equivalent to half a limb) require one (1) post to numb, and anything larger than an entire limb requires two (2) posts of concentration to numb. This numbing begins where the user has placed his/her hands and spreads outward until the hands are removed. The numbness can only cause pain equivalent to being stabbed with a kunai to be nullified. Once numbed, the effects last for four (4) posts before fading.
*[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique]
Prerequisite: 5 Iijutsu
Perhaps one of the most important Iijutsu techniques to date, the *[Iijutsu • Medical Diagnosis Technique] allows its users to probe another's body in search for medical answers. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will begin to channel it into the patient's body. Using this chakra as an internal extension of his/her hand to feel for abnormalities and other issues, the user is often able to determine the problem after some time and concentration. In order for a thorough examination to provide sufficient answers, the user will focus for up to one (1) post, seeking signs of internal and external damage, organ malfunction and disease among other ailments. Although skilled medical-nin have the possibility to work faster, skill cannot be substituted in for thoroughness.
*[Iijutsu • Skin Generation]
Often utilized by medical-nin to heal small, superficial wounds or for producing excess skin to use in skin grafts, the *[Iijutsu • Skin Generation] technique has its number of uses. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will channel it into a small area of skin cells on the patient's body. This chakra will force the skin cells to multiply at an ample rate by confusing this area of the body into its reconstruction stage that is achieved during slumber. As this is a type of regeneration, users must keep in mind that each cell draws from nutrients in the patient's body, and as such, too much can cause serious harm. In order to regenerate medium-sized areas of superficial wounds, it takes one (1) post of concentration. Areas smaller than this take considerably less time. In the case that the skin sample is separate from the body, the cells can be multiplied more quickly than they could be otherwise. These types of samples are generally use for skin grafts. The *[Iijutsu • Skin Generation] technique can be held for four (4) posts.
*[Iijutsu • Removal Technique]
Prerequisite: *[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]
In the event that a foreign object gets lodged into a patient's body, such as the point of shuriken or a senbon, the *[Iijutsu • Removal Technique] can be utilized to retrieve it. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will place them on either side of the wound in question. From here, the medical-nin will carefully manipulate the surrounding tissues by channeling chakra into them, coaxing the foreign object to the surface of the wound in order to extract it. Users of this technique are advised to analyze the severity of the wound beforehand, as more complex wounds will take longer than the one (1) post of concentration needed to extract most objects from superficial to moderate wounds. This technique should be used in conjunction with a tissue regeneration technique or the *[Iijutsu • Blood Clot Technique]. The *[Iijutsu • Removal Technique] can be held for a maximum of four (4) posts.
*[Iijutsu • Cleanse Technique]
In the event that creating an antidote is not possible, users of this technique can still help their patient fight off toxins, infections and other foreign bodies. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will begin to channel it into the patient's body. As this chakra flows into the body, the leukocytes will react to its presence and begin to multiply rapidly. This influx of white blood cells takes one (1) post of concentration to create. Over the course of five (5) posts, the new and old leukocytes are able to fight off poisons that are C-Rank and below that have entered the body. During these final five posts, the medical-nin does not need to continuously focus chakra into the patient. It will take care of itself at this point.
That all changed, however, the day that he failed his first and last mission as a Kirigakure shinobi. The call went out that a beast of unprecedented power was wreaking havoc on an island within Kirigakure's reach, and thus Asura was sent out with a group of other shinobi to investigate. What they found was utter chaos, gut wrenching horror, as blood and gore was spread all over the small village they sought to investigate, and not a single survivor was in sight. However, there was a horrid stench and a trail of blood meters wide to follow, one that a blind tracker could follow with ease, and thus the group of shinobi sought answers by following the trail.
The trail led to a cavern, and as the trio delved into the cavern they quickly noticed the air began to moisten, and the floor became more and more slippery as they went deeper into the lightless cave. Once their vision was totally impaired, one of the other shinobi used a torch to illuminate their surroundings, and they all immediately wished he hadn't. They were surrounded by pulsating, gellid flesh, and the moment the heat of the torch was felt there were eyeballs on them from every direction as the cave itself came to life around them. One of them died immediately with a terrifying cry as he was slurped underground, a geyser of blood exploding out of the flesh where he had once stood.
Asura and the other shinobi attempted to flee, but it was for naught, as large creatures of flesh began to form from the walls themselves, barring their escape and beating them to a pulp before carrying them deeper through the cave. At the center of the cavern complex, they discovered a creature of unimaginable terror; the creature Asura would come to know as "K'thnguh, the God of All Flesh". The beast did not speak, if indeed it could, but proceeded to immediately devour the other shinobi with one of it's many mouths, before that mouth proceeded to morph back into it's constantly changing form.
Asura was ready for death, but in a strange moment of confusion the creature saw Asura as one of it's own due to his mutation. It released him, and in his maddened, insane state Asura seemed to connect with the mind of the beast. In that moment, the Kirigakure Shinobi known as Asura died, and Asura was reborn as "The Flesh That Hates". Prolonged exposure to the creature has forced him to remain in his mutated form permanently, and his flesh has gained sentience as a result of communication with K'thnguh. Now, after 17 years underground with the creature, Asura is ready to reenter the world once more and spread word of the great one, the Lord of All Flesh, who seeks only to bring about the beginning of K'thnguh's reign; The Era of Flesh.
