Over the years, Shiv's physical description changed drastically. In his early years, he had been quite lanky and thin which was hardly surprising considering his focus on agility rather than strength. However, the years in service of Kirigakure have conditioned him to be close to the epitome of human performance. Something that many never come close to achieving. When you gaze upon Shiv today he doesn't look weak in the slightest. His body looks like that of a statue, but instead of chiseled stone, it is made of toned muscle and flesh. Due to his fame around the village, people have come to accept him as a model for men to aspire to. This has gotten to the point where quite a few married women have pictures stashed away of the famous Kirigakure champion.

The color of Shiv's skin is a pale white almost coming off as greyish. The light tone is mostly due to the fact that Kirgakure is constantly covered in a thick blanket of mist which conveniently blocks out the sun for weeks at a time. Not that he minds really, for the sun has never really been a necessity for the man. Who honestly needs to be an orangey tan?! That just looks ludicrous, especially for one from Kirigakure. Upon his upper torso on his back is a rather large scar. This scar came out of a failed mission years ago. Aside from that, he is rather untouched with just a few notable scars littered almost randomly over the entirety of his body. Many would call having a virtually untouched body luck, but he likes to think that it was due to his skill that he narrowly avoided becoming a grizzled looking veteran. A look far too common around the village...

The most peculiar thing about Shiv is his teeth. Shiv has a set of teeth that are quite distinguishable from most normal people outside of Kirigakure no Sato. This unique trait is that his teeth have been sharpened to a point to achieve a shark-like appearance. It is exotic outside of the village but around the village, it is considered a pretty standard body modification to intimidate those outside of the village. On occasion, he has even found them to be quite effective when eating raw meat!

Moving on to the top portion, we are left with Shiv's head. His hair never changed much throughout the years, as he was always mindful of how it affected him in combat. His dark brown hair is cut short with the top left slightly longer than the sides. The way in which he styles his hair is deceptively fashionable while still being acceptable for one in his line of work. Recently he has taken a liken to a small braid that he has grown out in memory to those he has lost over the years, especially Shizuka, Naoko. This braid is located by his right temple and tied securely with a band of leather.

Ever since Shiv's promotion he has become much more laid back in terms of dress. As an alternate outfit to his jumpsuit, Shiv has come to accept the benefits associated with a lighter more comfortable dressing. With this is mind, he has adopted a rather large gray coat trimmed with wolf fur. The coat is quite comfortable and allows for him to still be combative during times of supposed 'peace'. The coat isn't the only thing he adopted. Shiv also uses bandages around his forearms, groin area, and ankles making for quite the intimidating look! Lastly, we have his striped grey pants which fit loosely while also being perfect for more casual times that don't call for combat or strenuous activity. The comfort they provide is heavenly, while also allowing him to be much more accessible for when he fools around. That probably being the primary reason for him adopting the attire. Either way, these articles of clothing have become staples, especially when paired with a black scarf or shemagh to cover his face.

Shiv is a soldier through and through. Specializing almost exclusively in assassination he had a custom jumpsuit tailored to his body focusing on enhancing maneuverability and mobility. This one piece black jumpsuit is breathable and durable, constructed to withstand abuse from a variety of different environments. Upon the jumpsuit is an interchangeable system for web gear and the like. This web gear includes many black military grade pouches for holding weaponry and the like. In addition he also has a refillable camel pack that holds water to keep him hydrated on duty; it comes attachable to his helmet. Within one of the many pouches on his suit is a folded black and white shemagh which is worn on occasion instead of his helmet. All these traits make this outfit perfect for his preferred method of fighting.

The helmet worn by Shiv is one of a kind. Designed, engineered and manufactured to minimize weight while maximizing performance. The visor is virtually unbreakable as well as polarized to help reduce the effect of glare while active. This helmet is made out of high-performance composite materials, ensuring the ultimate protection. Where does this leave room for his head-protector? Well he usually stores it within a pouch on his waist to better conceal himself in public or on duty. While in Water Country he usually wears it upon his right shoulder, firmly attached to his suit.

'Ol'faithful': Heavier than it looks, tricky to wield, guaranteed to last (2 lbs, 20 inches in length, and 4 inches in width). Unique to this chakra sensitive machete is the uncanny ability to withstand intense punishment. A sheath lies across his back, securely attached to his suit, built into this sheath is a mechanism that holds the blade firmly in place, though can be quickly unlocked by pulling at a particular angle. Also unique to this machete is the ability for it to increase in size, becoming both broader and heavier; the increase is three times its original size (60 inches in length, 12 inches in width). The weapon takes on the appearance of a two handed weapon, in essence looking like a giant knife. This increase in interchangeable, changing between regular and big on whim, to activate the ability the user simply pours some chakra into the blade until it either increases or decreases in size.

x2 Windmill Shuriken: The windmill shuriken is unique as it can be collapsed into a dagger looking object for ease of carrying. These shurikens have been slightly modified for use with a length of wire, essentially connecting the two for further use. This is done by having small holes on the shuriken so that wire can be run through it easily. An example of use would be a make shift grappling hook. These are securely fastened upon his machete sheath on his back.

Typically, the ration contains a meal item (beans and wiener sausages, scalloped potatoes with ham, smoked salmon fillet, macaroni and cheese, cheese omelet with mushrooms, shepherd's pie, etc.), wet-packed (sliced or mashed) fruit in a boxed retort pouch, and depending on the meal a combination of instant soup or cereal, fruit drink crystals, jam or cheese spread, peanut butter, honey, crackers, bread (bun) compressed into a retort pouch, coffee and tea, sugar, commercially available chocolate bars and hard candy, a long plastic spoon, paper towels and wet wipes. Everything is packaged inside a heavy-duty folding paper bag no bigger than that of a regular bowl.

Having been trained to follow orders and accomplish any task given to him, Shiv has become a desensitized killer with an elitist attitude, being utterly rude to those that he deems lesser than himself. This can be seen through his interaction with people as he is quite the remorseless and sarcastic individual. His disregard for those around him can be seen through his logic of comparing people to weapons and their inherent qualities. This ideology of comparing people to weapons has greatly affected the man over the years as he considers those below to be nothing more than a necessity required to provide for those of true worth. In this frame of mind, he actively separates people based on their presumed worth, thus the man is completely fine with slaughtering practically anybody rationalizing it as deserved since they weren't capable weaponry, to begin with. However, everything isn't black and white to the man as there are exceptions that can make trash useful enough to be left alone. For if everyone was expendable than what would be the point of being above everyone?

When not lost in thought, Shiv is quite calculating and ambitious by nature. This nature can be seen through his professionalism in relation to his role and position as a ninja of the village. With that in mind, these traits can also be clearly seen through his demeanor while on duty. Shiv carries himself with distinction revealing complete confidence in himself which expertly hides the demented side of him. Unfortunately, there are times when people don't see this pious individual at his best, instead, witnessing the worst usually due to his obscure judgment on their actual worth. People are only shown his professionalism if deemed worthy of his respect. Due to this, superiors are usually only shown this side, but because of that and in combination with his ability as a ninja, he has had ample opportunity to carve out quite a reputation for himself being an exceptional weapon of the village.

To be honest, that very reputation Shiv earned over the years has gone directly to his head. He has become much more arrogant of his abilities and has taken up a lone wolf attitude, thinking himself above his peers to a point in which he prefers doing things solo instead of relying on people. However, his views don’t stop him from talking to those he comes in contact with. In fact, he is quite the social individual with a flair for the dramatic. Dramatic being that things always seem to have to be edgy. Once people get over his sarcastic demeanor they find he can be quite fun and or interesting to be around, especially if one is looking for something out of the ordinary. Sorry to say, but Shiv has a preference for talking to women over men, making him more of a 'hoes before bros' kind of man.

If anything was truly affected by Shiv’s elitist view, it would probably be his outlook on women. He has taken up a chauvinistic view on women and essentially objectified them for the most part. The only time he acknowledges them as more than just an object is if they can hold their own in combat. Even then he will playfully flirt or harass them, but they are of a higher pedigree than those that can’t fight worth a damn. This particular trait of his isn’t as well known to everybody as the rest of his traits and as such it can come off as surprising when he starts flirting with a woman instead of solely focusing on an objective. Shiv is always seeking to refine his abilities by openly looking for a worthy challenge to test his mettle against, which would explain his view on women. A challenge is a challenge and boy does he take pleasure in taking down a worthy target. He is known throughout the land for his brutality towards those deemed acceptable to kill. The magnitude of this ruthlessness has barely been seen in person but from what people have heard his targets are often mutilated beyond recognition.

Living a militaristic lifestyle Shiv has developed a fondness for the simple things that military organizations offer. These simple things include following orders to the mildly distasteful food rations everyone is served. These things bring him a sense of comfort as they have become second nature to him over the years. In a sense, he can create a home-like atmosphere almost anywhere as long as there is some sort of objective on the agenda. Shiv used to not care about luxurious things, be it material or currency, during the start of his career, but fame has had the effect of blunting that once resolute stance. Now he does have a preference for nicer things, but he hasn't forgotten his roots and can still live with only the basic amenities if required.

Shiv finds comfort in being ready to go at any moment and as such he spends much of his free time maintaining his gear, making sure everything is in tip-top shape and or going through records of his peers or rogue ninja. Those are things he feels are necessary for his daily routine, but are not the only things he does. For fun he likes hooking up with women, partying, and fighting. To relax he likes to hike around the island surrounding the village and or train on the slippery and jagged cliffs atop the mountains. Within the village is another story for there are few places he can go unnoticed, thus he likes to stay home in his condo located in the inner portion of the village. Here he has installed the necessities needed to not venture out into the world; gym, training area, garden, pool, etc.

Even with Shiv’s training and years of experience, it is impossible to completely remove emotion from oneself and as such he does have a soft spot for those that are related to him through blood and or a few individuals outside his family that has grown on him over the years. When he is with these people you can easily tell his change in personality as he becomes much more considerate than at any other time, blatantly going out of his way to keep these people out of harm’s way if he can manage it. Thus, from that one can easily guess what the man fears too. Having emotion and becoming a man instead of a weapon is what keeps the champion of Kirigakure awake at night. This constant struggle of attempting to achieve his goal while also caring for those around him is what nags his being and makes him human enough to keep in sane.

Awhile back a small baby was born. It was a gloomy and cold night; the rain came down hard and heavy. The hard thumps that echoed from the roof made for a somewhat comforting melody compared to that of the screaming coming from within. This was the night Shiv was born. There wasn't much to tell about the newborn, he looked and cried just like any other baby, having no distinguishable features that made him stand out. Rushing back from a patrol the father stormed into the delivery room. What he saw made him cringe slightly. This was his baby? There must have been some mistake. His baby was supposed to be; perfect in every-way. The baby was a bit of a disappointment for the father, who had high expectations for his would-be son who would be tasked with furthering the political influence of their once lowly house. What could the father do with such an average bloke that looked more like a dock worker than a potential ninja? Only time would tell if the boy turned out to be useful.

The Karagata family had a reputation of producing exceptional assassins. They were a family born and raised upon the sea, the majority worked in or around the docks transporting goods and people everywhere around the country. Those that were chosen to become ninja were highly praised within the house as they brought the family more influence and power. It would be troublesome for the father to convince the house to allow such a average child into the academy, but after bothering them enough the father finally got his wish.

There was no doubt before long that Shiv would be forced upon the same path as his father as the man worked tirelessly to forge a weapon of worth out of the boy. The expectations placed on this boy were quite daunting, but the boy met them through blood, sweat, and tears. Shiv's father romanticized combat, known to kill men for simply looking at him wrong, he would speed the boy’s progress forward with a firm hand. These harsh and strict methods conditioned Shiv into violence and combat which ultimately prepared the boy for his future role as a ninja of Kirigakure. It wasn’t long before the boy was accustomed to this brutal way of learning, achieving, and overcoming obstacles. Truth be told, it wasn’t an easy childhood but Shiv made the best of it, coming to enjoy the challenge and thrill of combat.

Taught in the ways of the older generation, Shiv eventually emerged as a splitting image of his father, though smaller and less intimidating. When it came time to enter the academy, Shiv was already well on his way for anything they had to throw at him. The years in the academy seemed to breeze by, Shiv became known as a fierce duelist having faced the best students countless times, coming out on top or equal. His group was even considered one of the strongest for their overall ability to outmatch any other group in fighting prowess. Most of that group went on to pass their final exam and become genin, it was a moment of accomplishment for these younglings and their parents.

Passing the final exam meant being placed into a customary duo group. Upon being placed with another he instantly recognized his rival, a boy by the name of Taka. He was one of the strongest boys in the academy having bested Shiv on more than one occasion; he would make a great rival. Their mentor on the other hand was a drunkard. His name was Ochi; he was a man of small stature measuring only slightly above that of Shiv and Taka, but what he lacked in height he made up in crazy. His training methods were outright dangerous and unorthodox, leaving a long lasting impression on both genin. Throughout the years they grew as a team and came to be known throughout the village for their brutality and dark sense of humor.

Eventually the duo were given the chance at advancement. During the examination to become chuunin, Shiv and Taka excelled and were surprised at the fact that there was actually quite a decent amount of competition still in the village. The duo passed their examination with flying colors, passing along with many other skilled Kirigakure comrades. His father was intensely proud of what he had created yet still maintained his ferocity toward sharpening Shiv into a weapon of worth.

Cast amidst another squad, Shiv eventually left the confines of his parent’s house, moving into an apartment in the merchant ring of Kirigakure. Training and working became the only real things of importance. During the day he did his usual duties and when night fell across the land he took the graveyard shift doing rounds and watching for threats in regards to the safety of Kirigakure. Many would say he became a total workaholic during this period of his life, having nothing better to do then work.

Specializing in close quarter combat Shiv modified his body so that he could be more efficient and effective at close range. By adding a pair of air tubules throughout his body he was able to develop a style of killing that utterly decimated his enemy at close to medium range effectively turning his enemies into a bloody mess of organs, feces, and whatever they ate before combat. This style came to be so effective that he was thought to be easily jounin level, dispatching enemies like nothing while also earning a decent track record of successful missions.

On one mission Shiv even managed to slay a small village worth of people when things went haywire and the village tried to rebel against an important feudal lord in the region. It was during this period in his life that he was approached by his mentor about becoming a jounin. Shiv was confident in his abilities but he knew he was no match for a fully fledged jounin. If he was to be promoted to a higher rank he needed to first make sure he was ready to handle such a burden, because in his opinion, only the strong deserve to be counted among the elite ninja known as jounin.

A couple of years passed and Shiv had become a fine specimen of Kirigakure might. The once blunt tool had been sharpened from constant killing of enemies and by witnessing the brutality of combat. Eventually Shiv was promoted to the rank of jounin. The rank increase came with increased influence with his comrades as he was now counted among the elite in the village and there was the added benefit of having an equally impressive salary. Shiv didn't need much though; he was content with what he had and sent a great deal back to his family.

After a couple years of completing missions and working under Kirigakure, he came face to face with a highly dangerous opponent. This event happened during the night, it was cold and gloomy when the alert came in of a breach in Kirigakure territory. It was rare to get an alert from actually within Kirigakure territory and Shiv was quick to move toward the threat. At the time Shiv thought it might be a bandit raid of some kind or maybe some large creature of the ocean, but drew a blank when he was first on the scene to meet up with one of the most infamous ninja of Kirigakure; Yaku. In just a short amount of time he and the response group were utterly decimated.

When Shiv awoke he was covered in wrappings, having been treated for a great deal of burn injuries. The majority were minor except the one upon his upper back which had been pretty bad when he first arrived. Branded into that wound was the logo of one of the men that Shiv had fought that night. The other thing Shiv found out was that he had failed to protect his homeland, costing Kirigakure a weapon of immeasurable strength. As Shiv recovered he made up his mind to hunt down those men when he was strong enough. Using a machete he carved off the brand that he had received from the one known as Spade. It took awhile before Shiv regained himself and began to take up missions again, vying to replace the weapon that died that night.

Through hard work and dedication to becoming the best, Shiv earned a reputation amongst the village. He was an exceptional ninja and there were few that could equal him in combat. His dominance over his peers and enemies was brought to the attention of the special forces who desired to recruit him into their organization. He was ready for what this opportunity would provide and willingly accepted their offer into the Head Hunter Regiment. With higher standards of performance he improved quickly, becoming feared by the enemies of both Kirigakure and the Karagata house.

This was Shiv's highest point in his career. He was in his prime with a reputation around the village for being one of the best. There were even a couple of offers floating around to sponsor him by the merchant caste! He didn't need to be weighed down by anyone and or made into an action figure for the people of the village. Everything was negligible to what he actually wanted; to become a perfect weapon.

However Shiv's aim shifted when he met the love of his life. Her name was Masami, Naoko. She was also a ninja of the village and before long her affection melted his cold heart. Feelings and emotions once thought impossible became a possibility. For the first time in his life he didn't want to solely be a weapon. That was until she was taken from him. The wound inflicted was severe, but it was quickly filled with a hate and bitterness towards everyone around him. It was at this moment he decided to close off his heart and shift back to becoming a perfect weapon.

The pain Shiv had received from the death of Naoko had not even started healing fully when word reached his ear that his parents were killed by a raiding party in the waters surrounding Lightning Country. The story was that his father fought valiantly but was overwhelmed with numbers. The father had been retired for years now and died protecting his wife who was undoubtedly raped and slaughtered while he was most likely turned in dead at a foreign bounty collection agency. Both were killed like animals. This news tore Shiv apart even further, but what could he do? That was the question that burned within his head. He was powerless to save them just like in the case of Naoko. What he needed was to become a weapon not a person that felt emotions.

That anger pushed Shiv to become even stronger as he slowly forged himself back, mentally, into the weapon he had been during his prime. A combination of his lone wolf antics and skill once again brought him to the attention of the leader of Head Hunter Regiment. Shiv was swiftly promoted to Lieutenant Colonel of The Hunt and Disposal Unit and before long he became the commanding officer of the regiment. A role he had never wanted but reluctantly accepted due to his personal investment in it. As Colonel of the regiment he regrettably brought it into a state of mediocracy during the first few months as acting leader. With no formal experience and or knowledge of managing a regiment he had to work tirelessly at improving himself in that regard. Eventually through hard work he brought it back to par and recruited quite a few exceptionally talented individuals who made the regiment that much stronger.

Another woman came into Shiv's life now. She wasn't one of the many that he fooled around with daily, she was the lost sister of his one true love; Masami Naoko. This was troublesome for him as it conflicted with his aim of being a weapon. With his previous conviction of not allowing himself weakness he attempted to ignore her excessively, but eventually he opened up to the girl as she was quite persistent. That ended up being just another stab in the heart as she also died shortly after. Maybe this was his curse? When he strayed from his true aim, the people who he cared for died. It was proof that opening up again would only rip him apart and thus he became the weapon he is today. A cold individual that cares for his countrymen, but would never admit such for fear they will die as everyone has.

Shiv now does what he has always done; patiently await his next order...

Taijutsu SpecialistShow
Having devoted their lives to mastering the art of taijutsu, this shinobi is classified as a Taijutsu Specialist. A taijutsu specialist is able to devote a total of 10 concentrations to taijutsu, unlike most people who are capped at 8. However, they are only able to devote a max of 5 concentrations to genjutsu, and a max of 5 concentrations to ninjutsu. As a Taijutsu Specialist, Shiv is able to utilize taijutsu concentrations reserved for specialists. Also he is now able to ascend to God Tier [45+] on the following stats:

Infiltration and assassination; would be the best words to describe Shiv's particular way of fighting. Instead of directly dealing with his opponent(s), he would rather patiently wait for an opportunity to cause massive amounts of damage with either his elemental powered attacks or martial prowess. That isn’t to say he isn’t skilled at directly dealing with an opponent if it comes to it, but prefers to finish things as quickly as possible due primarily to his low stamina pool. Having a long drawn out skirmish is completely out of the question.

Implanted Chakra Tubules:
Through a painful procedure chakra tubules were surgically implanted throughout the body of the user. The system of tubules are crafted from metal and have been modified to be resilient to a variety of environmental factors, including low-high temperatures and conductivity. They run from arms to hands and legs to feet, ending with steel outputs that are located in the middle of his palms and feet. A peculiar trait of the tubules is that they are engraved with permanent force fuuinjutsu. This body modification was designed to aid in combat, improving efficiency by allowing the user the means to blend their physical and elemental prowess together. What this translates into is an overall increase in the effectiveness of the user by a modest amount when fighting at around close-mid range which is about the range that many skirmishes take place within the ninja world.

What makes the tubules so unique is there uncanny ability to essentially 'lock and load' elemental energy for later use. The force fuuinjutsu engraved upon the tubules act as the means to 'lock and load' energy while a simple kai is the catalyst to unleash the stored energy. Shiv may only 'lock and load' one energy blast at a time. During the time stored he cannot use his tubules to channel anything else. Since the engraved fuuinjutsu are force orientated the energy used is only simplistic in nature.

Also, due to the limited amount of surface area this 'lock and load' ability can only store up to an A-Ranked energy blast. Anything above that is too much for the tubule system to handle. All of the engraved force fuuinjutsu are linked together so that they can be used in conjunction with each other if needed. As with force fuuinjutsu the 'lock and load' ability cannot store anything solid.

The tubules also grant the user [Advanced Channeling] for use in chakra based techniques. So it isn’t too surprising that the majority of techniques used with this modification require the user to channel to initiate a particular technique. While channeling chakra the user's speed is partially reduced while the speed of channeling is determined by Control. Lastly, when channeling, chakra tends to gather at the location of the channel, thus chakra at the location will be on a visible spectrum.

Storage Fuuinjutsu can be used to store supplies, weapons, armor, or anything in between. Force Fuuinjutsu are used to release, counteract, and capture energy.

Heavenly Body Control:
The fundamental skills of [Heavenly Body Control] cannot be mastered by those with less than 35 Taijutsu, Strength and Speed. These skills include those required to create almost ninjutsu-equivalent effects simply from the movement of one’s body such as animal shaped blasts of compressed air from especially positioned hands and other similar feats which are beyond reality. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu, and requires Taijutsu Specialist.
Sword Weapons:
The fundamental skill of [Sword Weapons] indicates the user’s proficiency with swords and sword-like weapons such as knives, daggers, sword-breakers and the like. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.
Upper Body:
The fundamental skill of the [Upper Body] indicates the user’s proficiency with using their arms, chest and head in various ways to facilitate their use of related Taijutsu.

D-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After doing the needed hand seals, the user gathers wind around their feet. Then, the user will use the wind to blast them from the ground, enabling them to leap into the air an extra 10 meters at 3 extra speed. The user also has 3 less Taijutsu until they once again touch the ground. Those with less than 5 Taijutsu (after deduction) will stumble and fall when trying to land. The Fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

D-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After performing the needed hand seals, the user is able to glide on air as if they were skating on ice. This allows them to move faster (+3 speed) but lowers their accuracy and agility (-3 Taijutsu). This doesn't allow them to fly, but rather to travel over things like land, water, and ice with greater ease. The user is only held several inches off of the ground. This Jutsu does not expire until the user’s chakra supply runs out or the user shuts it off. The fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

[Air Cushion]
D-rank Ninjutsu
After forming a short string of hand seals, air will compact itself into a 4 meter radius "cushion" of sorts that is used to soften a fall from a great height. This won't prevent all damage but it will prevent major injury. It can be used up to twenty yards away from the user. It lasts until the end of the post it’s used in and dissipates after one use. The fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

By slightly charging chakra into his air tubes Shiv can force out a small amount of air pressure, clearing out most things within the passageway. This is used so his more advanced techniques don’t end up backfiring, possibly destroying his body in the process. Another use for this is when making a fire, as it can be used to fan flames easier. The fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

After channeling wind chakra into the weapon, the user is able to have it hover wherever they place it. This technique can be thought of as essential if one is to do hand seals in between fighting with their weaponry. The effect only lasts for a maximum of three posts, after which the wind chakra will disperse and the weapon will fall to the ground from its stationary position. The fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

Kasuka Zankuha [Weak Decapitating Air Wave]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Implanted Chakra Tubules
Primarily used as a filler technique, this is the basis and most fundamental use of the air tubules. Charging his air tubules Shiv can easily create slight ‘slicing’ blasts of air that start at the palm and spread out conically for ten yards at a speed of 5. After the ten yards the blast disperses in the surrounding air. The closer the target(s) are to the wave the greater the damage done, as it is more focused when at close range then at maximum range. The push back can be resisted by an enemy(s) with a strength stat of 5 or over.

After channeling chakra to the vocal cords, Shiv releases a breeze of wind that can travel a maximum of 20 meters away from his position. This breeze of wind acts as a speaker for his voice. Whenever he speaks his voice will be projected from the breeze of wind instead of his mouth. This is a great way to confuse people from knowing his actual position. This effect can be used for two posts or until dispelled.

Prerequisite: Implanted Chakra Tubules
Shiv has developed a technique to hold objects near him by using the wind created through his tubules. To start this he simply charges his tubules and then releases wind which expands over a target, at a speed of 10, if the target does not exert a force higher then 10 strength then Shiv will be able to keep the target afloat through wind alone. This lasts for five posts or until cancelled.

Prerequisite: Implanted Chakra Tubules
A skill developed by Shiv to get into places which have been locked by key. After charging his implanted air tubules, he places his palm against a lock and carefully manipulates the wind to push the required pins upward until the lock is picked, then with a simple turn the target object becomes unlocked. This technique only works on locks using a pin mechanism to open.

By charging chakra into his air tubes, Shiv can create tightly packed circular gusts of wind at an output. These can then be used to reposition oneself on the fly or in the air when there is no place to firmly push off of to change course naturally. The small gust of wind created is actually quite powerful for the size being comparable to that of 20 strength. The circular gust ball stays at the location for three posts before dispersing into harmless air.

Shiv begins by charging his implanted air tubules. Once complete he will create a swirling current of air, five feet in radius, upon the ground up to 10 meters away from his position. This current remains dormant for five posts until either activated or stepped on. If one of those requirements are met the current of air will explode upward with the force of two explosive tags worth of cutting power. Those caught in this explosive uplift will be launched upward about 5 meters if they have a strength stat of 10 or less. If not stepped on or activated within five posts the air current will simply disperse into harmless wind.

[Wind Style: Ghost Clone]

Shiv begins by charging his implanted air tubules, once complete he will create a clone, from an output, out of fuuton chakra. This clone will be able to act entirely independently of the user for 5 posts before dissipating, with physical capabilities equal to the stats listed below. This clone applies the fuuton passive to enemies it touches.

The user does the required hand seals before breathing outward. This technique lasts 10 posts or until cancelled. The fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

After charging his arm tubules, Shiv unleashes a blast of air that actually has enough kickback to push him back 10 meters. The closer the target(s) are to the wave the greater the damage done, as it is more focused when at close range then at maximum range. The push back portion of the technique can be resisted if the opponent(s) have a strength stat of 10 or more.

Charging his implanted air tubules Shiv focuses and then sends a small compressed wind gale toward a target within 10 meters of him, on contact it expands around the target at a speed of 10 into a rotating gale of wind. At this level the gale can expand up to a maximum of 5 meters. This gale of fuuton chakra shields the target by creating a barrier of wind around the target with a durability equal to 30 strength. Once in place the shield will push back anyone/thing with a strength of 30 or less for a brief moment. The Jutsu fades after five posts if not broken or cancelled.

Once the target is inside, the target must have a strength higher than 20 and physically make their way out. This lasts for five posts or until cancelled.

Charging fuuton chakra into the air tubules, the user stirs a great amount of wind around their person. A tornado with a 10m radius will form around them at 20 speed, extending up to 30m in the air. This wall of wind is perfect for defense or trapping an opponent in an enclosed area. Anything that tries to pass through the winds will be sliced viciously with 20 strength blades of wind as sharp as katana blades. This technique lasts for 4 posts, unless released earlier.

Charging fuuton chakra into the air tubules, Shiv will release a large sphere of wind with a 10m radius at 20 speed, which has a maximum range of 50m. Should the target be hit within the first 30m, the attack will inflict the maximum amount of damage, causing an explosive force equivalent to 4 explosive tags, spreading cutting winds capable of slicing close to the bone over the same area. Should they be struck in the last 20m, it will only apply 3 explosive tags worth of force and range.

Shiv has advanced with his air tubules to the point where he has acquired the ability to essentially fly; this flight is achieved by steering with said air tubules. Shiv is able to change direction on whim while flying but moves at a speed equal to that of his control stat, to a maximum of his speed stat. To activate this ability Shiv must either do the required hand seals or channel chakra throughout his body. However, once complete he is able to freely fly or hover in the air. Flying height is limited to 30 meters above ground level in combat. This technique lasts for six posts.

After charging his implanted air tubules, Shiv will raise his hands before rapidly thrusting downward, creating a heavy blast of wind anywhere within a 30 meter distance at a speed of 35. The blast of wind is 20x20 meters and exerts force downwards at a strength of 35 for 4 posts or until cancelled. While relatively simple itself, targets caught trapped beneath the wind without a way of defending themselves will find themselves decimated by the cutting wind.

A supplementary technique used to create a rope of chakra, this technique begins with a short set of hand seals. Once these have been completed, the user will hold their arms apart and form the rope between them. The rope can be variable lengths to a max of 3 meters in length. It is highly resistant to cutting by any normal object and can resist weak strength techniques quite well. The rope, while resilient, does not provide any defense and finds its use in tying up people or animals, as rope usually does. If tied by the rope one can break out of it with a strength of 5 or higher. The rope lasts for eight posts until vanishing.

A technique focused on boosting the user's control, Focus begins with a set of hand seals. Once they are completed, the user will slow down (-3 speed) in order to obtain better focus and control (+3 control) over his/her techniques. This technique lasts for three (3) posts.

After channeling a bit of chakra through his body, Shiv will focus on the chakra within one of his shadow clones and instantly switch places with it. This technique has a maximum range of 20 meters, can only be used once per thread, and counts as one of two teleportations for the thread.

After a few hand seals the user focuses chakra into their ears, the user is then able to pick up sound better than normal, anything in a radius of 20m around the user can be heard as if the user was standing next to it. The drawback is that loud noise can cause temporary deafness. This technique lasts for five posts but can be cancelled at anytime.

*[Ninjutsu • Advanced Transformation Technique]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
An advanced form of the Transformation Technique, after performing the correct hand seals and holding the final one temporarily, the user will coat and mold chakra around their body into the shape and form of something or someone which is no more than twice their size at a speed of 4. This technique's true advantage is that the disguise is given physical substance. This means, for example, if they transform into something with claws, they will have claws that can physically be used. For the disguises 5 post duration, if it is damaged by a hit of 16 or more strength, the disguise "poofs" from existence. This includes collateral damage caused by striking an opponent that may occur to the disguise.

[Hideous Strength]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
A technique focused on boosting the user's strength for a short time, Hideous Strength begins with a set of hand seals. After they are completed, the user will focus chakra throughout their muscles to stimulate them. With this extra stimulation, the user has a firmer grasp over their body (+9 Strength) at the cost of their control over other techniques (-9 control). This technique lasts for (5) posts but has a minimum duration of (1) post before cancelling.

B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the correct hand seals the user proceeds to create a number of clones of themselves (maximum is equal to 1/3rd the users stamina). Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies of the user in both appearance and substance. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but they will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original and any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed. Given that the clones are an exact replica of the user, they share the same stats except for stamina, which is determined by the number of clones presently in effect.

After channeling chakra into their body, the user enhances their movement to attack or retreat suddenly, the ninja almost instantly moves up to 20 meters on the ground in a single straight direction. While doing this, the ninja cannot move through anything or anyone, nor can they supplement it with an attack of any kind. After the quick movement has stopped, there is a brief pause where the user must recover from the movement. Even though it's not a full teleportation, this jutsu uses up one of the 2 teleportations a character can use in a single thread.

With little to its application, this technique requires the user to have at least two shuriken to use. When throwing the shuriken at the opponent, the user will throw another that will travel beneath the first, concealing itself within its shadow. By doing so, this allows the second shuriken to go undetected as it makes its approach toward the target. Both shuriken travel at a speed dictated by the user's strength stat unless stated otherwise. However, perceptive opponents who have an instinct greater than the user’s taijutsu may be able to see through the charade, provided they have means to do so.

Utilized when the user is vulnerable on the ground, this technique allows him/her to get up easily while expelling nearby weapons and people. To perform Spin, the user swings their legs around above them, causing them to spin around. This subsequently knocks away the objects and people in their proximity at a strength equal to the user's while allowing the user to get to get up.

By applying both his taijutsu knowledge and his quick thinking Shiv is able to feint an attack. This is done by aiming an attack quickly to a side the user can block. If the target attempts to defend against it, this creates an opening in which Shiv can quickly pull back mid-swing and redirect his attack elsewhere. The main application of this jutsu was originally to strike at a user who is forming hand seals in order to cause them to break their seals to defend themselves, though it has a wide variety of applications.

The technique realizes the concept of a draw's momentum increasing attack speed rather than the technique of drawing itself. With this concept, the user draws their weapon from their sheath and then makes either an upward or downward slash followed by the opposite of the chosen slash. This causes two deep diagonal cuts in the direction of the slashes that happen near instantaneously.

Having trained the body at high speeds through intense training sessions, Shiv has developed a way in which to confuse his enemies. A more passive skill than anything, if Shiv is ten speed above that of his target(s) instinct, his movements and melee physical attacks take on a blur effect. This effectively makes it harder for his enemies to determine his attack pattern and or where he is about to strike.

This only lasts for one post, but for all intensive purposes this technique is considered a stance.

This particular style of fighting is all about precision. Why you may ask? Well senbon are not known for their stopping power. So using them with that in mind would be a fruitless endeavor, instead those that practice senbon style make use of the precise nature of the senbon to surgically strike at very small and specific points on a target. Often wearing down a target instead of outright doing lethal damage.

Being an unbalanced weapon, one can’t fence with the machete but rather must rely on fast footwork and evasive body movement as the first line of defense, while parrying and blocking remains a less preferred mode of use (but still has its place). A machete can be used at an extended range as well as in close quarters when the second hand comes into play for controlling the opponent.

When a target approaches and makes a swing-like attack at the user they will simply step back from the attack while countering with a sudden arc chop aimed at the limb of whatever attacked them first. The limb is chosen because the target usually has their limb outstretched for their attack making it so an attack to the limb is more likely to succeed.

After carefully analyzing their opponent’s movements and defense, the user then moves into close quarters, making use of the strikes learned previously they attack rapidly with a barrage of purposeful strikes at any weak point that presents itself. This applies to fleshy points on the body, an opening in a taijutsu, or the short period of time used while performing hand seals. In the event that any of these points are successfully taken advantage of, the user will continue to follow up with more strikes, attempting to inflict as much damage in the opening as possible.

Shiv has trained himself beyond what many consider possible. His mind is now perceptive enough to notice the smallest of detail when his intent is focused solely on that particular target or the like. Recollection of these details can be thought of as if he had seen them just a moment ago. What this does in regard to combat, is make it so that he can expertly predict the flow of combat as if time had seemingly slowed down. As long as he has a higher instinct stat then that of a combat stat he can get a read on it which allows him time to mentally prepare or anticipate whatever it is that he is focused upon. An opponent which is far slower than Shiv's (Instinct+Taijutsu/2), will be seen as if they were moving at 2/3rd their speed. This is only in accordance to comprehension of what is happening before him, meaning that he may not always be capable of keeping up with the opponent(s).

The Silent Fighter style is a style made of two types of techniques. One type which focuses on masking the sounds the user makes through both passive and active techniques that minimize motion, and the sounds made from movement. The user starts by focusing on their next swing, once ready the user will swing their weapon with such sheer power and speed that the very air is pushed forward 30 meters. This is not ordinary air however, instead the utter power behind the swing conditioned it into three palpable blades of air, each blade measuring about 10 meters in size, capable of cleaving whatever they strike into chunks. These blades of air strike and move at a strength equal to the user's and after 30 meters the blades dissipate back into harmless air.

The user starts by focusing on their next swing, once ready the user will slash forward horizontally with such sheer power and speed that the very air is pushed forward creating a wall of pure wind, measuring 15 meters in diameter, meant to protect the user from a variety of different threats. This wall stops within 10 meters of the user. Even though the wall is made up entirely of air the force behind the slash compresses the air so tightly that the wall can actually take quite the hit, having a strength equal to that of the user's, before dissipating back into air.

Prerequisite: 35 Taijutsu, Senbon, [Anatomy Knowledge], [Heavenly Body Control]
The user takes a standard senbon needle and transforms it into a horrifying weapon of death that can pierce through almost anything. The user starts by focusing on their next strike, once ready they will release the senbon toward the target with both expert precision and sheer force that the senbon keenly pierces straight through an obstacle as if it were nothing. The reason why this is so deadly is that the power has been so tightly packed into the tip of the projectile that it can get away with not having to deal with the general surface area which usually is what makes a defense quite powerful. The downside to this technique is that the attack is all about precision as it can only damage things in relation to the size of the senbon thrown. Chakra based or an enhanced defense will still be able to resist the technique as normal.

[Shadow Wind Strike]
S-ranked Taijutsu Maneuver

Shiv focuses on a location within 40 meters of him that paths directly through a single target in a straight line. There can be no obstructions aside from that sole target or Shiv will be inflicted with blunt damage, equal to his speed, to the entirety of his body. Once ready, Shiv pushes off from the ground sending him flying instantaneously toward the target location equal to his speed. Additionally, during the maneuver he makes one direct slash at the target; center mass. The sheer velocity is utterly inconceivable that it can be said to be purely on the level of tightening space itself. This goes toward the teleportation limit in a single thread.

Shiv pushes off from the ground sending him flying upward rapidly, once reaching the pinnacle of ascension he slashes the air instantaneously causing an immense amount of static electricity that directly envelops his blade forming into a bolt of lightning that then surges toward a target at a speed equal to 1/2th Shiv's strength. The bolt of lightning strikes the target at that same strength while also spreading to all those in a vicinity of 50 meters, causing third degree electrical burns to all those struck.

Shiv pushes off from the ground sending him flying instantaneously toward a target equal to his speed. The frightening acceleration from the action causes an immense amount of static electricity to build up enveloping him in the process. Shiv will then strike a target instantly transferring all stored electrical energy which diffuses throughout organic matter causing complete paralysis for 5 posts, which can be resisted with a (strength+stamina)/2 of 39 or above. If used on inorganic matter, the stored electrical energy will diffuse through whatever struck to apply a shocking effect to the object. Whoever comes in contact with said matter will suffer localized paralysis to the portion touched. This shocking effect lasts for 5 posts on the diffused object until fading away.

The user starts by focusing on their next strike, once ready they will release a projectile toward a target location. The projectile is thrown with such monstrous torque that the projectile remains directly connected with the open hand via the the air between the two. During flight the user may at anytime close their hand abruptly to suddenly create an implosion of force around the projectile. Anything within the 20 meter diameter around the projectile will be pulled toward it at a strength equal to 2/5th the user. Those with a strength equal or greater can resist the sudden pull of the technique. Anything that disrupts this linear point of contact between the hand and projectile will disrupt the technique cancelling out the effect.

After drawing a seal formula on a surface, appropriate in size to the weapon being sealed but no larger than 3x9 inches, the user forms the needed hand seals then may place as many of that singular object into the scroll as desired. When done, the user performs another set of hand seals and touches the seal closing it off as the seal condenses to the shape of the object stored. This seal is the only known sealing applications that allows depth storage and unfortunately this cannot be done at larger sizes. Tools can only be released at a maximum of 10 at a time, and are released with zero force.

Physical FeaturesShow
Jhin is perfect in almost every way imaginable. Combined with the fox features granted to him by merging with a spiritual fox he is considered to be quite the sight for sore eyes. With the merging came a set of fox-like ears and a tail. These being pretty much standard after a merge. Over the years he has grown a total of three tails which is also a sign of strength within the Tsukino house. With the house being so new many of the families don't share much of a resemblance, but that doesn't matter too much to Jhin as he is fine with the way he turned out. However, being too unique does make him question the whole merge process as it kind of breaks away from what a united house could accomplish if everyone started thinking like that of a major clan. With that in mind he doesn't look down on his non-merged brethren for in the end they are all family that share the same surname.

The skin tone and hair of Jhin is quite fair even for one from Kirigakure no Sato. That wasn't always the case. For when he was a kid it seemed as though he would develop bright golden hair, but due to the merging with a white fox, he became quite paler. The once golden hair had all but vanished becoming almost as white as snow. At a younger age, that coloration change was annoying as mostly only older people had white hair, but after a few years he accepted the change. With a lighter skin tone than most he doesn't enjoy being in the sun for long periods of time because his skin burns quite easily, thus you will hardly catch him unclothed even during the hottest of days.

Jhin hardly has any scars or the like due to him being mostly a supportive type of ninja which is great for him as he doesn't have to worry about all the anxieties that go with being a brute looking man. With that in mind, people can easily tell the man isn't a fighter due to his scrawny looking appearance; looking more feminine than most his age. Despite this, Jhin isn't that weak. Underneath that scrawny frame is a toned body capable of intense bouts of physical exertion. On closer inspection, you can see he is quite the healthy and fit individual, fully capable of standing toe to toe with many of the more brutish men in the village.

The one notable feature standing above everything else are Jhin's teeth. Jhin has a set of teeth that are quite distinguishable from most normal people outside of Kirigakure no Sato. This unique trait is that his teeth have been sharpened to a point to achieve more of a fox-like appearance. Being actually quite sharp they are perfect for chewing up tough meat or through rope or the like if ever caught in a predicament requiring such a odd trait. Usually the sharp teeth act as an intimidation factor around the village, but when people look at Jhin they can't take him seriously often saying he is too cute.

Traditional dress is the expectation of one coming from the Tsukino house, thus Jhin has accepted this reality by donning an orange colored yukata. He has come to enjoy the benefits associated with dressing light. With this is mind, he has also adopted geta for more casual times that don't call for combat or strenuous activity. The comfort they provide is heavenly, while also allowing him to be much more accessible for when he lounges around. That was probably the primary reason for him adopting such dress for comfort and feeling like you're free is a must. Either way, these have become a staple, especially when paired with a variety of wrappings and the like to keep him warm. During HHD missions, Jhin wears a standard white operator mask with slits for eyes. The decoration upon the mask is composed of five orange colored teeth centered around where his actual teeth would be! This masks does its job by hiding his true identity while outside the village.

  • General: Jhin is a person that cares too much about what people think. He cannot separate his own thoughts from those of the people around him, especially people that own him. Own him, meaning, that they are quite influential in his life to the point that he doesn't want to let them down because they believe in him, even if he doesn't, nor does he want to appear as somebody completely worthless. Everything he does is usually based upon what is expected of him. His dress, his speech, his actions, everything has already been seemingly decided by the people around him. Appearance is everything. Being seen as perfect is the epitome of what Jhin values.

    Those that know Jhin beyond that of the facade will say he is cold, almost as if to remain true to being the killer he is supposed to be. In essence, this is sort of true, as he tries to keep up an appearance, but beneath that, he does care about the people close to him when he isn't caught up with pretending to be somebody he isn't. That is the sole reasoning it is so hard for him to make friends and the like. He doesn't know how to be real. People generally come off as fake to him as he has had to feign those actions before. When he does attempt to be sincere, he second guesses himself, thinking that he is coming off as cheesy or fake.

    Since Jhin doesn't have many social skills, he can come off as quite the playful or teasing individual, but really this is only used to hide the fact he can't maintain something genuine or real, because of it feeling too forced and or fake. When this gets to be too much or he is forced into a corner because of his jesting he usually attempts to play it off with yet another joke or becomes unresponsive altogether. If things get tough that is exactly what he'll do; shut down completely till everything calms down or is forgotten. Not the best method of dealing with stress or conflict, but it has gotten him through everything thus far, so there isn't a reason to really change yet.
  • Fears: These expectations seemingly control Jhin as he crumbles underneath the weight of them all. There is a real fear within him that he cannot handle everything people expect of him and because of that fear he doesn't even attempt to do anything for himself besides what is needed to maintain face. The majority of his persona is a farce, he wears the mask of who or what he is expected to be. His true persona only being revealed to those he has come to trust. But, even his true persona is somewhat of a joke. Jhin is almost like a blank slate, lacking confidence and or the ability to be decisive with anything.
  • Likes: Due to Jhin's personality, he does find enjoyment in writing or acting. It is a time that he shines! He is good at it because that is what he basically does every day. That and the chance to be another person is exhilarating. Living another life takes him out of the reality of his own situation for the time he partakes. In his spare time, you can find him either in front of a good book or in the midst of crumpled paper as he strives to write about anything his heart desires.
  • Combat Mentality: In a conflict situation Jhin will do what he usually does and try to avoid it, but if that isn't possible he will do his best to resolve whatever is in front of him. The facade usually comes in handy here as he just acts how he would be expected to. So in terms of work, he works hard to look good. Coming off as lazy, incompetent, or stupid won't fit with his image and because of that, he needs to at least seem like he works hard on the work given to him. Even if that work does not align with what he actually wants out of life. What is that exactly? Not even he knows too lost and scared with everything around him to make such a life-changing decision.

After merging with a fox, a Tsukino inherits many of the fox’s own physical features and potential. This takes the form of a few the fox's features, namely a pair of fox-like ears and fox-like tails which multiply as their own powers grow (3 tails at Chuunin, 5 at Jounin, 9 at Bannin or Kage).

The main ability of these foxes, however, are their extrasensory systems. A Tsukino’s ears are laced with vibration sensitive fur that forms the basis of a network of sensory paths in their brain, allowing them to feel the nearby vibration as a form of sonar-sight. This works only in a small space around them but is greatly enhanced by nearby water as the liquid vibrations carry clearly to their ears, allowing them to hear disturbances to water especially well. Even masses of the vapor such as mist transmit such vibrations well.

Without adequate water, a Tsukino’s sense extends around them for (Instinct/3) meters and can form rudimentary shapes and images in that radius but no further. Vibrations caused by water being interacted with, or vibrations traveling through water, can project much further and more clearly, up to (Instinct/2) meters out.

This advantage comes with its own downside. Much as a normal person can be blinded by intense light a Tsukino’s sense can be temporarily shorted out by intense noises. Techniques that cause conflicting vibration can also dampen their senses, but these can be overcome using techniques.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Mist, an extension composed of Fuuton and Suiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require Mist. Mist has an encroaching effect. You must be a former or present Kiri shinobi and have both Suiton and Fuuton to utilize this concentration.

Mist naturally encroaches. This causes all mist jutsu to grow over time. Mist jutsu will passively grow at 1/10th their size per post, allowing them to not only become larger but also refill areas within themselves that have been displaced. While Mist has limited offensive power, it's a supplementary superpower that can completely alter the course of battle by manipulating the battlefield, and the people on it.
Suiton:
Suiton Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Suiton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Suiton affinity. Suiton has a passive enveloping effect.
Passive (Enveloping)Show
Suiton's effect is enveloping, meaning that suiton passively surrounds anything that it makes contact with. Suiton techniques that do not last over periods of times (i.e, exploding techniques) drench their opponents, but long term techniques will envelop anything they come in contact with and maintain a hold on it with the 3/4th strength of the technique, rounded down. This means that if a suiton wave is shot forward with 17 strength, it will envelope and move anything with it that does not have more than 12 strength to resist it. This allows Suiton to fill a very powerful role in eliminating tools from opponent's access and capturing targets.

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Fuuton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Fuuton affinity. Fuuton has an cutting effect.

Fuuton has a natural cutting property to it, that exists in all jutsu unless otherwise stated. This gives fuuton a unique opportunity to strike with additional power, and to act as a offensive defense. Regardless of their purpose fuuton jutsu passively cut with no distinct pattern at 1/3rd the strength of the technique rounded down unless otherwise stated. This means if someone punched a 19 strength fuuton wall, they would get cuts on their hand applied with 6 strength. This also means that fuuton jutsu specifically designated to cut things can create devastating wound by essentially striking twice.

D-Ranked Fuuton Jutsu
After performing the needed hand seals, the user is able to glide on air as if they were skating on ice. This allows them to move faster (+3 speed) but lowers their accuracy and agility (-3 Taijutsu). This doesn't allow them to fly, but rather to travel over things like land, water, and ice with greater ease. The user is only held several inches off of the ground. This Jutsu does not expire until the user’s chakra supply runs out or the user shuts it off. The fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

Prerequisite: Kiri-nin
Kirigakure no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by Hidden Mist Ninja. After forming the required hand seals, the ninja creates a blanket of mist which covers the area around them. The mist covers 20x20x20m area. The mist limits the visibility of those inside to 4 meters in any direction. This technique lasts a number of posts equal to 1/2 the user's stamina.

*Fading Mist Technique

After performing the correct hand seals, the user can control the transparency of the mist to become much more lucid or clear in a 2x2x2m area. If this is used on a blanket of mist with another's chakra within it, it requires a higher control stat than the caster. This increased visibility lasts for up to 3 posts.

*Mist Bath
D-rank Ninjutsu
While inside the mist, the user will form a series of hand seals, then hold a hand forward. From their hand 5 marble sized bullets of mist will form and shoot forward through the mist at 5 speed, with 5 strength.

*Thick Mist
C-rank Ninjutsu
While inside the mist, the user will perform the correct seals and clasp their hands to initiate the jutsu. The water will increase and substantially grow in thickness. This will make anything that enters or is within the mist experience -3 speed so long as they are inside it. This technique lasts 4 posts.

Additionally, sound is dampened as well, which can make it more difficult to communicate plans through the mist without advanced hearing techniques. This technique lasts a number of posts equal to the user's 1/2 stamina.

This particular style of fighting is all about precision. Why you may ask? Well senbon are not known for their stopping power. So using them with that in mind would be a fruitless endeavor, instead those that practice senbon style make use of the precise nature of the senbon to surgically strike at very small and specific points on a target. Often wearing down a target instead of outright doing lethal damage.

Prerequisite: User must possess senbon of some variation
With little to its application, this technique requires the user to have at least two senbon to use. When throwing the senbon at the opponent, the user will throw another that will travel beneath the first, concealing itself within its shadow. By doing so, this allows the second senbon to go undetected as it makes its approach toward the target. Both senbon travel at a speed dictated by the user's strength stat unless stated otherwise. However, perceptive opponents who have an instinct greater than the user’s taijutsu may be able to see through the charade, provided they have means to do so.

The user has learned to maintain accuracy while on the move. This allows the user to move at full speed and even change directions without interrupting their rhythm.

The user has attuned their hearing to the sound of things moving through the air. This allows them to hear projectiles flying at them from a general location, within 10 meters, even if they can’t actually see them. This technique does not work in enclosed areas where sounds bounce off walls/doors/windows/etc.

Analyzing his target for awhile, the user will determine if they have greater or lesser speed then the target, thus the user can determine a rough estimate as to just how fast a target is moving. Using this knowledge the user can predict the flow of combat better.

Predator's Instinct:
Jhin, being a merged Tsukino, is more in tune with his senses than most in the village. Taking advantage of this merging process, Jhin has developed a style focusing on enhancing the senses of scent and sound. Using these enhanced senses, Jhin takes on a more animal inspired role to hunting a target. So it doesn't come as a shock that many of the techniques in the style revolve around tracking; perfect for those in a supportive role assisting with 'search and destroy' objectives.

D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
By focusing on a residual scent that has pooled in the area, Jhin becomes able to track this scent over great distances. Residual scents are those that are slightly more intense than the natural scent of the area and are most common in light but unbandaged wounds, burnt or seared clothes and the like. Jhin must focus on these scents but are able to perform other actions during the tracking without sacrificing any speed or dexterity, only requiring a short amount of time between movements to regain the scent. Targets must have been standing in the area Jhin begins tracking for at least a post or a scenting object must be used such as a personal belonging. This can be used to track through other odors but high winds or going through water will lose the scent. Very strong odors or areas dense in various scents make things a little more complicated and result in either taking more concentration or plain losing the scent.

[Gender Scent]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Males and females naturally give off different pheromones which affect their natural scent. Jhin's sense of smell is so honed that he can determine if someone is male or female by their scent alone, though this can be more difficult if they are covering their scent with something like perfume.

[Faint Scent]
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Inhaling deeply of a specific scent and focusing on it, Jhin becomes able to track this scent over great distances. Faint scents are the layered, complicated scents such as sweat, sparks, treated wood and oftentimes are hard to distinguish even for canines. During the tracking of these scents it is often hard for Jhin to focus on other things and he can easily lose the scent, so avoiding combat is required. Targets must have been standing in the area Jhin begins tracking them from for at least a post or a scenting object such as a personal object must be used to begin tracking. Water, wind and strong scents do not inhibit this level of tracking individually, but when used together they will block scent.

[Primal Nose]
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
After utilizing his nose and training his sense of smell for so long, Jhin has become able to tap his sense of smell to its most refined and most bestial. Jhin is able to pick out the most common scents and focus on the freshest ones in an area of 10 meters around him. By doing this Jhin is able to tell the amount of individual humans, animals or creatures and the most intense smells of each person, including if they were injured or if they were tired by gauging sweat levels. Jhin can then track these groups of scents with relative ease.

D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After doing the required hand seals, the user then triggers the illusion by raising one of his arms. From within his sleeve a single fox emerges, lunging towards the target. Used primarily as a distraction, the fox doesn’t have much else to it but can be used to cover an approaching projectile. Once close enough the fox will attempt to bite and scratch the target, but without any pain coming from such. This illusion will last for three posts or until cancelled.

[Incoming Senbon]
D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After doing the needed hand seals, Nakigara throws a senbon at a target. If they see this, they will feel a senbon strike them. This doesn't cause any actual damage. The pain and the false senbon last for three posts or until cancelled.

[Decoy Effect]
D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After doing the needed hand seals, the target will be inducted into the genjutsu. With the hand seals being the trigger. Those inducted see a clone of the user and each of the user's teammates appear next to them, using jutsu. The jutsu that they are casting is completely meaningless, though. These clones stay there for 4 posts or until they are damaged.

*[Genjutsu • Smell Of The Deceased]
D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, any victim that sees the user preforming the hand seals will be induced under the genjutsu. This causes the target to begin to smell rotting flesh and decaying bodies. The jutsu can cause nausea and vomiting from the target, depending on how sensitive their sense of smell is. The smell of the dead can also cause some mental stress on the target. This genjutsu lasts for three (3) posts.

[Genjutsu • When Foxes Fly]
D-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
A rather simple genjutsu that is put into place when the user says a statement ending in "When Foxes Fly". Seconds later, anyone who hears the user say that will see several foxes with full hawk wings fly past, just a few feet above the user and the victim’s head, serving as a somewhat confusing distraction.

[Pop Smoke]
C-ranked Illusion Genjutsu
Jhin will channel chakra into one of the tags at his waist, initiating this genjutsu in anyone who sees the tag. Within the next three posts, Jhin can snap. Anyone who hears the snap will see the tag explode into a 30x30x30m cloud of smoke. While within the smoke, vision is limited to 4m. Because its illusionary, the limits in vision exist regardless of advanced or unique sight modifiers. This smoke remains in place for 4 posts, then disappears as if it's "settled"

*[Genjutsu • Doubt]
C-Ranked Status Genjutsu
The user will do a series of hand seals, then whistle, initiating the genjutsu in anyone who hears the whistle. For the next three posts, the victims of this technique will feel tinges of doubt when listening to other people talk. While the doubt isn't strong, it creates a slight feeling that can be used to dissuade them from following instructions of other people if utilized properly.

After doing the needed hand seals, Jhin says "You can trust me." Those that hear this will feel as if Jhin is a friend that is trying to help them out, as long as he doesn't do anything to the contrary. This makes them more willing to listen to him, assuming it isn't harmful to themselves. This lasts for six posts.

[Dramatic Fox Distraction]
C-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
If the user comes under attack, they can use this technique to cover their escape. After forming the needed hand seals, the user's body will disperse into a skulk of foxes which in this case is about twenty. Watching the hand seals being made is the trigger for the Genjutsu. The foxes will confuse and distract the opponent while the user escapes or hides. This technique lasts for a single post.

[Howl of the Fox]
B-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
An auditory genjutsu developed by Jhin, after doing the needed hand seals the user lets out a piercing screech like that of a fox, all who hear the screech become trapped within the genjutsu. Almost instantaneously after hearing the screech, the scream picks up in intensity. These screeches are intense, feeling almost as if the victims’ ears are about to burst. Imagine hearing nails screeching against a blackboard with a loudspeaker in front of it. This lasts for five posts or until cancelled.

Jhin was born into the renowned Tsukino house, thus he inherited allegiance to the Muramasa family from his parents. His father and mother were so happy when he was born that they seemingly forgot the tensions that had almost ripped their relationship apart before the pregnancy. To them, he was the one to keep everything from falling apart. That was hard to denounce as the first few years after having Jhin were utterly perfect. Everybody in the Tsukino family believed that the issues of this particular family were behind them as they focused solely on raising a charming son. What this supposedly happy family didn't know was that reality was poised to strike when they least expected. Everyone was a slave to reality, in the end, nobody could escape that fact. No matter how hard people tried to ignore reality with an illusion of some kind; reality would eventually bite them in the rear.

Living in Tsukino neighborhood was like nothing else. Everyone was so happy it seemed. The view from the walls was especially breathtaking for the young boy who made an effort to gaze down upon the village daily as he happily fed the birds that gathered there. These birds acted as a distraction to the boy as their perfect little family started to shift back to how it was previous to his birth. That isn't to say he was having a bad childhood thus far, actually, it had been quite blissful, especially with so many other family members around him to distract him. The only thing that sucked was coming home to anger, frustration, and yelling. Fortunately, through intense praying to, Mizuki the Lunar Goddess, he was able to slightly resist succumbing to their negativity altogether.

So how exactly did this little family get ripped apart? Well, it happened primarily because of a woman. Jhin's father had wandering eyes, that much had been obvious before he was even born, but the happiness that came over the father when Jhin was born wouldn't last forever. He hungered again for an escape to his boring life in the village where everybody worked toward the good of the whole. So that woman mentioned earlier was his escape. What that did though was open a rift within the family that would never be mended again. The mother simply tried to turn a blind eye, but eventually, they became the same couple as before the pregnancy. What was different this time around was them handling stuff behind closed doors instead of in the open for all to see.

Jhin was forced to eventually learn to act as if everything was perfect. This acting came naturally, but because of this he slowly became more distant from the people around him. He worried constantly about his place in the world and how he was being judged by these people. This self-conscious way of thinking that developed would guide him for years to come. He had become a slave to the expectations people unwittingly placed upon him. In that line of thought when asked to become a ninja he begrudgingly accepted as that was what was expected from somebody from the Tsukino house. To be frank, he had no idea what he really wanted so it was kind of a relief when forced to go down this structured path. The structure brought comfort compared to what he experienced at home.

In the academy, everything seemed so forced. Everyone that had been enrolled was so happy to the point where Jhin questioned if they were actually living their own reality or were they just in another illusion? This questionable way of thinking didn't exactly chime well when coupled with his anxiety around people. Their potential thoughts were constantly bothering him all the time. He was scared to do anything too out of the norm, wanting desperately to keep his facade of being a part of the whole intact. If everyone found out he came from a broken home, what would they think of him?! He would become that weird boy with nobody around him. This was something that would never become his reality. For when people in Kirigakure saw weakness they exploited it for their own gain. Showing weakness would in fact make him more susceptible to being bullied or worse from those far more talented than him.

With Jhin striving to be seen as perfect he eventually became a genin of the village without much issue! Before being assigned to a team he was merged with a fox as is the tradition in the family. The pain was unreal, but once the features emerged Jhin became ecstatic with excitement. However, in the back of his mind, Jhin was scared of what that meant for his ability to remain in the shadows. He was now a part of something that felt sort of real. A fully fledged member of the Kirigakure Rivalry Squad program. This was something that didn't involve his family, well it did, but it was more personal and directed toward improving himself. What this did was make him focus on himself without the headache commonly associated with doing such. The village actually wanted him to be strong! So that is exactly what he did. Training, working, and writing had become his life now. This was a good thing altogether for it allowed him to develop into his own person, sort of, at least internally.

Fortunately, Jhin was paired with another boy from the Muramasa family. There was some conflict due to the Tsukino house being subordinate to the Muramasa family but that didn't make it impossible to become friends and challenge each other to do better on a daily basis. To be honest, the training became a fun activity to get away from life at home. Being a genin came naturally to Jhin, he worked hard to complete whatever was assigned to him diligently. With nothing noteworthy happening during this period of time, it came as a surprise when he was asked to take the chuunin examination. What an honor, they actually thought he was ready for that. Well, if they thought that then there must have been some truth to it? He put up a smile and gladly accepted the offer, but that meant facing his long time rival which was no easy task.

What happened next was awesome. The objective was a solo fight between his rival. Finally, a time to show everyone that he had indeed fulfilled the expectations placed upon him by taking down his Muramasa rival! A time for him to shine. During this fight, he slowly whittled down his rival with senbon before going in for the finisher that ended the fight immediately. Unfortunately for the Muramasa boy, he hadn't fully prepared for fighting an excruciating long ranged battle of wits through the mist. There were few genin that could dodge, duck, and parry that many senbon without consequence. With each hit the boy became an easier target before the fight was finished with a single blow. The Tsukino hereditary trait of using their fox ears made it quite hard to fight within the mist Kirigakure had become infamous for, thus the win was impressive on Jhin's part. They promoted Jhin without question for his tactical genius and ability to expertly take down a target. Being promoted instantly brought about feelings of satisfaction over the now journeyman ninja! Jhin was becoming stronger for the village and for his own personal pleasure.

The thoughts that came next bothered Jhin slightly. What if the Muramasa boy was supposed to win?! That had been the expectation of the family as a whole. The Tsukino were merely a subordinate to the principle family Muramasa. Would that harm the relations between his parents and the Muramasa?! Winning had only been the expectation of those closest to him so what were the people in the village thinking about him now? These were good questions to think upon for a moment or two, especially since many now took interest in the boy for his display of self worth. Of course, these questions were far too complicated for the young ninja to worry about. Being too political in the village had negative consequences and because of that it was better to just try and stay out of that mess. In reality, Kirigakure valued strength and if the Muramasa boy had failed in the fight that meant he didn't deserve to be promoted yet. So in essence, there was no real reason to worry about these things.

At around this time, Jhin's parents finally had decided to separate, it had been expected by the young man, yet the sting hadn't really sunken in for the fresh chuunin. Had this been his fault? Was he the cause of their aggression? Could he have done something different to stop this? These were the kinds of thoughts running rampant through his head even though each of them attempted to quell such thoughts by saying that the damage had happened a long time ago. This was something he couldn't fix through training or acting. Reality had finally sunken its teeth into his rear end. How could he fix this? How could he repair everything and keep face with his peers. An impossibility now. Jhin just had to accept the fact and be thankful that they stayed together for the majority of his childhood giving him quite a decent upbringing instead of a what could have been. Jhin thanked 'Mizuki the Lunar Goddess' through prayer for keeping their family together for so long. He believed it was through her will that they kept strong through all these years. However, that didn't stop those around the family from talking and or spreading rumors about what happened.

The once happy people around the Tsukino neighborhood started to look at Jhin differently after the separation was publicly announced. Obviously, they were talking about the incident, not about him personally, but his mind got the best of him and because of that he distanced himself from them, thinking they were judging him behind his back. Jhin didn't want to be associated with weakness. In Jhin's eyes, everyone in the neighborhood was annoying, he just needed to maintain face with the village. At least his standing with the village wasn't damaged due to this situation. Jhin stayed away from the neighborhood whenever he could during this period of his life, simply putting everything into being a perfect ninja for the village.

When not working, Jhin was a prominent hunter for the people of the village, especially with the help of his trusty fox friends. They made a perfect team when hunting down beasts and the like. What they brought in after each hunt was astonishing. Using these skills he gave out his bounty to the poor and or less fortunate people in the merchant caste. These people thanked him each time he came from a hunt. What they didn't know was that the act of hunting was therapeutic for the man. Primarily that was the reason he was so good at the task. Out there in the wild, he was able to shed all of those expectations and thoughts that plagued his mind daily. The people from the merchant caste started to love him like a local celebrity! Many people took notice of this trend and became interested in the young man. For using ninja for their own gain was what the village was about.

Then came a cruel yet charismatic man. He was quite an influential person from the merchant caste. Using his pull he eventually convinced Jhin over while also signing him to a contract that would help endorse many of the merchants failed business ideas at the expense of Jhin's reputation. Negatively many of the people Jhin had helped over the years started to dislike him based solely on the merchant's shoddy business tactics which the young man hadn't thought about initially. Over the years, the merchant abused Jhin mentally and sometimes physically to the point that he didn't question the merchant anymore. The abuse was so prominent that he was forcefully being used be people for sexual purposes for the personal gain of the merchant. There were many interested in those that came from house Tsukino. Having been so distant with his family over the years they hardly knew or cared about his plight, thus he just kind of dealt with it by turning a blind eye like during his childhood.

Even with that situation going on, it hardly had an effect on Jhin's performance in relation to the village. With an almost perfect track record on missions, Jhin was eventually promoted to Specialist Jounin for the exceptional work he had done for the village throughout the years. There were many that attempted to argue against the decision as these people had been subject to the rumors of the people, but alas there were few that questioned Jhin's actual track record because that was directly demonstrated on paper in his file. In their eyes, he was a stand-up individual that deserved the promotion. Jhin took the promotion to heart as a confirmation of the work he had put in over the years. The young man had achieved a great honor from the village which also allowed for more freedom to stay at home to write, read, relax, cook, and generally just be a hermit. However, even with all that strength, the man was seemingly nothing when face to face with the merchant that seemingly owned him.

What came next was an interesting turn of events. While Jhin was being used by some noble men and ladies, he was unwittingly introduced to Karagata, Shiv. Shiv was a bannin of the village and the face of the infamous head hunter division. That meant this man was practically untouchable in terms of what he could do around the village. This champion of the village had been interested in Jhin since his display in the chuunin examinations. Why you may ask? Well, Jhin had shown potential for being a weapon suited to the organization. The organization needed people who could hunt and take down targets without hesitation. What a place to find the young man though. Surely, Shiv had heard about these rumors, but to see it first hand was another story. This so called man was still living in fear like a child.

Jhin was pathetic in reality, but that didn't have to be the end of somebody with impressive potential. That needed to stop if he was going to be used as a weapon of the village. Shiv wasn't going to allow this weapon to be wasted by the likes of a simple merchant too focused on his own greed to realize exactly what he possessed. In an instant, Shiv whipped out his machete and cleaved straight through the merchants hired thugs that kept Jhin in line by simply being in the vicinity. Harming the nobles wouldn't be smart for they had much influence in the village, thus allowing them to flee in terror was the best alternative. They wouldn't say shit about this incident for fear of exposing their own scandalous behavior to the rest of the village. In his usual cold tone, Shiv told Jhin to get up, put on some clothes, and follow him. Without thinking, Jhin simply followed orders. Jhin hadn't guessed the motive of the champion until they were face to face with the merchant. There was something about this man that brought about an unnerving fear within Jhin. It was almost like a dog looking at his master after doing something wrong. That needed to stop right now for Jhin needed to grow and become better for the benefit of the village and himself.

Giving Jhin a blade, Shiv told Jhin to kill the man. Jhin almost froze in confusion. How was he supposed to react to this? Everything was conflicting right now with what he had thought he already knew of the workings of the world around him. Those things were all lies; fabricated by the merchant. Over the years he had weaved his life out of what others had told him to do. So with that line of thinking he had gone down a dark path unfit for one of his rank and position. Despite this revelation, Jhin wasn't going to just abandon what he had grown to do. Instead, he would do exactly what was expected of him in that moment. Jhin took the machete and beheaded the merchant who had abused him for years. With that Shiv had thought the man would be fixed now, but that would be too easy. The reality of it all was that Shiv was now the standard and instead of being used for the merchant's schemes, Jhin would now be used as a weapon of the village.

Under the protection of Shiv, Jhin was contracted under the Karagata family. Since Jhin hadn't been contracted before except be inheritance he would instead be placed in a subfamily to denote his standing in the family hierarchy, thus being thrown into servitude to the Karegata subfamily. Jhin was delighted to finally be rid of those horrible rumors that circulated around his neighborhood. For now when he introduced himself he would confidently say, "I'm Jhin, bled for the Family Karegata, born of the Family Tsukino". Once said, everyone would instantly recognize what that statement meant. The man was now part of a ruthless family that didn't let anything stand in their way. Perfectly what Jhin wanted people to perceive him to be.

Shortly after the incident, Jhin was taken into the head hunter division. Here he gained the skills required to become a tracker for the organization. Through the organization, he was able to grow and become the weapon Shiv had envisioned so long ago. Jhin even gained a nickname, 'The Flanking Fox', for his ability to track practically anybody! Jhin was a seemingly perfect fit here and became quite the lively individual always working hard to maintain face as a weapon for Kirigakure. As a member of the head hunter division, Jhin does what is required of him without question, but when you gaze into his eyes you can see he isn't exactly the perfect person his record says he is.
