Call for Medical Assistants & Volunteer Participants
The Academy's Medical Department is seeking assistants and volunteers for an upcoming instructional demonstration on essential medical-nin techniques. This session will cover diagnostic chakra usage, wound treatment, and the safe application of various healing methods.
We are currently in need of:
Student volunteers to serve as demonstration subjects (no serious harm will occur)
Aspiring med-nin or interested students to assist our instructors during the procedures
Location: Academy Medical Wing, Room 3-B
Participation counts toward extra credit and field training hours.
This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to specialize in medical-ninjutsu—or simply to expand their knowledge of chakra-based healing arts.
Please sign up at the front desk or speak directly with Instructor Ryoma for placement.
All participants will be monitored carefully. (Disclaimer: Some minor discomfort may occur.)

This, this was promising. A wide smile spread across her face as she read the flyer. She rushed to room 3-B, hoping they still had slots open. There were a handful of people in the room but she recognized the head of the medical staff. She approached and spoke, I would like to volunteer as an aspiring medical nin. Is this where I sign up? her expression was soft and kind. Her voice was sweet and laced with excitement. The head of staff guided her through the sign up process. The Academy's Medical Department is seeking assistants and volunteers for an upcoming instructional demonstration on essential medical-nin techniques. "You will be in charge of demonstrating a basic diagnostic check. You will be stationed in room 4-B and there will be groups of volunteers coming in to watch. Please keep each demonstration under 3 minutes as there will be a lot of groups coming in and out. The event starts in 1 hour, so do whatever you need to prepare before then. Good luck and have fun."
Slipping quietly through the white-tiled halls of the Kumogakure Academy, she arrived at Room 4-B with an air of casual grace. Her footsteps were soft, almost reverent, as she crossed the threshold into the clean, sterile space prepared for the event.
The room was a modest slice of medical instruction:
– A single transparent dummy body lay on a raised table at the center, its exposed faux organs shimmering slightly under the overhead lights.
– Beds lined the perimeter, prim and untouched.
– Posters illustrating chakra flow, pressure points, and organ systems were pinned unevenly to the walls.
– A tray of sterile medical tools rested in the corner, neat and glittering in a stainless steel pan.
But it was the syringes that caught her attention.
Kurui's eyes lingered on them with quiet affection. Empty, clean, innocent—waiting to be filled with potential. She drifted toward the tray like a ghost in a hospital ward, fingertips brushing the side of one polished barrel. Then, slowly, she lifted it, turning it between her fingers with idle curiosity.
It slid into her sleeve with practiced ease. A harmless souvenir.
She hummed lightly, voice barely above a whisper as she turned back to the dummy body, patting its stomach.
“Let’s make a good impression, shall we?”
