A Titanic Inheritance

The day had been long and Aichi Kisama was sitting in his recliner, his feet kicked up on the foot rest and his ears tuned into the radio. "... And you won't find better deals than at Shady Shiit's Medical Canna.." The commercial played and Aichi let his mind wander. His father had been growing increasingly sick, it was beginning to worry Aichi, but there wasn't any known treatments to his chakra disease. The elderly man was dying, he had about five years left in him if he was lucky. Aichi tried to ignore it. His father had always been a crude teacher, in everything he taught Aichi. He would often berate his son and beat him, he wasn't beyond using Iijutsu against Aichi either. They training Aichi endured with his father was unlike anything his sister experienced. She was treated like a princess. Hato was very lucky. Aichi would have been jealous of her if he didn't have such a fantastic dream in his heart. Aichi wanted to bring peace to the world, and he was inching closer to it everyday.

Since he joined the Battosai Division, Aichi found himself growing closer to his goal. He was quickly made the cell leader of Aka, and assumed the mantle of the Suzaku of Battosai. Aichi had a great role to thrive in, and he was prepared to go to every length that presented itself to him. He had been pushing his team hard lately, especially Hato. She was so jealous and bitter with Aichi, he thought maybe if he went rough on her it would smooth out her edges. It wasn't working, but Aichi had no plans in relenting. Thinking about it all, it was hard to focus on his work, but he didn't;t have long to assuage that problem, as a knock on the door would soon come.

Aichi got up and walked over to the door. He peeked through the eyehole and saw a familiar face. It was Oban Kisama, the leader of the Kisama clan. She was a fiery red head with sharp looks and a sharper tongue. Aichi was awe struck to have her at his door, and opened it without thinking. Running on pure instinct, Aichi spoke to Oban with absolute respect. "Your honor, I am grateful to have you-" Obani put her hand up in Aichi's face.

"Save it, Aichi. I didn't come here to be exonerated. I'm here on official business though. Go ahead and sit down, kid." Oban stepped into ohis apartment and walked over to Aichi's dining room table. She sat down and kicked her feet up on the table. "Go ahead, sit." She commanded, this time with more force.

Aichi was in shock, but when Oban repeate herself with effort, he snapped to it. Aichi took a seat next to Oban's big feet. "To what do I owe this visit, Oban?" Aichi used her name this time, skipping out on formalities as she had insinuated.

"I have a story to tell you first, listen up kid."

When the human race was still drooling on bones, the great Cataclysm occurred. As spirits flooded the Wellspring, there was one race of spirits that stood out to humans.

The Titan's of Alchemia were gargantuan spirits, easily 40 meter's tall, and wit the face of a human. The Titan's were a beautiful race of monsters, and they fed on human kind as soon as they stepped through to the physical realm.

Some time would pass and humanity learned to fear the Titans of Alchemia. These giants had blood that formed golden weapons, humanity had no chance. The people cowered in fear of the spirits while they were slowly picked off by fallen angels. It was a sorrowful time to behold the human race, between the Genma, the Titans of Alchemia, and other spiritual monsters, humanity was down to their last hope.

One evening, a brave group of people with deeply tanned skin presented themselves to the Titans. They offered their children to the Titan's in exchange for peace, and the Titans of Alchemia agreed. They began taking in human wives and creating offspring. This was the Genesis of the Kisama clan. The children had dark colored skin like their mother's, and bright red hair, an anomalous trait from the immaculate conception with fallen angels. The Kisama people rejoiced that they were free from the Titan's cruelty, and soon the Titan's would begin working with the human's in new ways.

As their son's were born, inheriting the Oudouchi bloodline, the Kisama people found themselves in danger from the other spirits. With a strong bond to the Titan's, the Kisama people were targets for other spirits. They became a warrior clan, fighting back the spirit's with brass weapons. The Kisama fought valiantly with teachings of the Titans of Alchemia, but it wasn't enough.

One day, after a gruesome battle, Nuwa, the Titan of Repair, began instructing the Kisama people on a seal he had worked on before. The seal was designed to house spirits in human bodies, and Nuwa intended to make this the secret weapon of his people. He had many sons, and he desired a world of peace for them. Nuwa decided he would take matter's into his own hands, and become sealed inside of the strongest warrior of his clan. Thus began an age old tradition of sealing Titan's of Alchemia into Kisama clansman.

As he sat next to Oban's big, smell feet, Aichi listened to his respected clan leader tell the story of the Titan's of Alchemia. "This isn't a daily fable. Only the elite know this, Aichi." Oban said and then slid her feet off his table, scuffing the wood. She leaned on her knees and looked up at Aichi. He was sitting with his hands folded together in his lap, legs crossed. Aichi nodded in confirmation of what she told him.

"So the reason i'm telling you this. You're our flaming star right now, Aichi. The Kisama clan is better wit you, and we want to cement your place in history with us. Now, if you take this, you can never be the clan leader." Aichi thought of his father's dream to make him the clan leader. Karasu had long since given up on it after Aichi told him what he would be doing with his life at the age of ten years old - creating an era of peace, of course.

"Now pay attention. You have been chosen to fight against the spirits that hunt the Kisama clan. We have many spirits after us, and we need strong jinchuriki to fight them off. If you accept, you will be bestowed Nuwa, the Father of Alchemia. Its a tall order, and not one to be taken lightly. I need an answer now though, we need to see gumption from the jinchuriki of our strongest spirit.

Aichi nodded at OBan and began playing with the Ring of Crows on his right pinky finger. He was thinking hard, weighing out the possibilities his life would be presented with. A moment passed and ten thousand thoughts ran through Aichi's mind, but he was confident in his decision. The Kisama prodigy stood up and said to Oban, "I will bear this burden, for the people of our clan, and for peace on Earth." Aichi couldn't help but smile. He felt like he was getting that much closer to his goal.

Oban stood up and stuck her had out for Aichi to shake. He did, grabbing her by the forearm and shaking her hand confidently. "It's good to have you on the side of the Kisama." Oban said, a fire burning in her bright orange eyes.
