It was dark. Really dark. Mika could see nothing. Her arms and legs felt as if someone was pulling them apart. Whenever she moved it, she heard a chain locking sound and she wasn't able to move it anymore. The door opened and a terrified gasp escaped her lips. She tensed up and swallowed the spit in her mouth.
The lights went on and Mika's eyes started to burn. She shut them tightly and turned her head away from the source. "Do not be afraid," a voice said. She opened her eyes and saw no one around her. She began looking around for where the voice came from. "W-who are you?" she asked, trying to sound brave. Didn't work too well there with the studdering. "That is not important." The chains tightened, squeezing her arms and legs, before releasing her.
She fell to the ground, but stayed up. Making a run for whatever exit she could find, Mika ignored the voice that was talking to her. She dashed through a dark hallway and kept running. She ran and ran and ran. She just kept running, even though all she could see ahead was more darkness. Finally getting to tired to continue, she stopped and started gasping for air. Turning around, her eyes widened. All that running, and she could still see the room she just came from. It was like she didn't even go anywhere. She walked back towards the lab, not believing it. But there was no denying it.
She fell to her knees and continued catching her back. "Oh, you've returned?" the voice said. Mika let out a growl, and stood up. She looked back at the dark corridor. "You're gonna try to leave again?" She thought about that question. Realizing it would probably happen again, she sighed and walked into the room fully. Another door opened to her right and a man walked into the room, holding a sword. Mika could barely see what he looked like. Her vision was blurry from being exhausted. But she got up anyway.
Walking over to him, she stopped when he stopped and they looked each other in the eye. Mika's vision was slowly becoming unblurry but she still couldn't picture the man's face. "Why am I here?" she asked him. "In due time," he answered. "Come." He walked off and motioned for Mika to follow him. She did without question. They entered the dark corridor and walked a few feet before coming to a door on the right. When was that there? she thought. The man opened the door and walked inside, disappearing on sight. Mika followed him and the enviroment changed from a dark laboratory to a sun shiny bright woodland area. The man was leaning against a tree staring up into space.
Mika decided that now she was outside, she would make her escape again. She ran as fast as she could into the woods and the man just turned to face where she left. Turning to face another area with trees, he waited. Mika, however, ran with all her might. Seeing an opening, she thought freedom. She dashed into the opened and looked around. Surrounded by trees, she thought she had to keep going. But before she could run, she heard a familiar voice speak. "Leaving so soon? But you just got here." She turned to see the man, still leaning against a tree. How the hell? The man, taking out a sword, walked towards Mika. "If you wish to leave so much, so be it." He swung the sword at her sides, looking to slice her in half. She was too tired to evade it, so she closed her eyes and waited for the end.
"Ahh!" Mika shouted, opening her eyes widely. She was breathing heaviled and was covered from head to toe in sweat. She looked around, finding herself in a cave. She couldn't stop breathing so hard, no matter how many times she tried. "It was just........a dream," she told herself. She sat up and brought her knees up. Leaning forward, she put her chest against her tight, put her chin on her knees, and wrapped her arms around her legs. Maybe sleep wasn't such a good idea today.

Training For::*Bai Chouyaku [Doubled Leap]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
By channeling chakra into her feet and releasing it in a short burst in the middle of a jump, [NAME] is able to, "jump again", increasing the range and height of their leaps. They can also use this to change direction in mid-air.
Mika yawned. Her night wasn’t a really good one. That nightmare kept her up all night long. Still, she was glad about the lake. She would have never been able to splash water on her face to get her fully up. Finishing up her morning stretches, she felt a few bones crack and gave a relieved sigh. She thought about training today. Seeing a bunch of trees in the horizon she thought, why not. Smiling brightly, she quickly ran towards the forest.
After running for a while, Mika’s legs started to hurt. She stopped for a quick breath. Looking around, she noticed the trees were much taller than she had thought. It was a perfect training spot for someone wanting to clear their minds. Not wanting to waste any time, she hurriedly took off her pouch to get rid of any weight. She also took off her vest. Tightening her clan band, she looked up to the top of the trees. She was going to go up there. Making a hand sign, she gathered chakra in her feet and ran towards a tree. She then ran upwards with ease. Stopping before she reached the top, she fell off the tree and flipped backwards to land on her feet.
With a grin, she thought that it would be faster to just jump up there. So she bent down as low as she could. After counting down, she jumped up as high as she could. She passed four branches before stopping her ascent. Right before coming down she took a kunai and slashed the tree at where she was last time. She landed and bent as low as she could. Not wasting time on the ground, she leaped up again. And again she went up high. She went a bit higher this time, but it wasn’t much. She came down hard but was able to stay bent.
A thought then crossed her mind. If having chakra in her feet could make her run upwards higher than without it, then maybe it could make her jump higher. She made a hand sign and gathered chakra in her feet again. She jumped up as high as she could again, reaching the same spot as the second jump. Then, with the chakra in her feet, she blasted it through her feet. The added force sprang her up even higher than she expected to go. Although it wasn’t to the top, she was just happy she found a way to get higher than her limits could make her.

How the hell did I fall for that? Mika asked herself as she dangled from a tree branch. The roped was tight around her ankles and she felt the blood quickly rushing into her skull. Being tied up was one thing. Being upside down was another story. She struggled to get free, not finding much success. She sighed and looked up, which would be facing the ground, as she figured out how she would get out of this.
It started earlier today while she was minding her own business. She walked by a strange looking man who looked at her silently. Without any warning at all, he stood up and followed her. His footsteps must have been amazingly silent for her trained ears not to hear them. He followed Mika through out the entire town, hiding behind a building every time she made a stop. He even watched as she ate lunch.
Before long, he went out of town with her. Soon enough, he was joined by two more men. They all trailed behind Mika for a while. They were undetected until the youngest of the group sneezed. Mika stopped and turned around to see them scolding the sneezer. She giggled, finding it a bit funny, then turned away and continued on her way. The guys stayed back and waited until she was out of sight to followed the path she took. This time they kept their distance in case anything happened. The one who sneezed before grew bored of this follow the leader game and was the first to make his move.
Running up to Mika, he let out a yell and drew a knife. He slashed out quickly, but Mika was quicker. She hopped forward as the man missed her back. He continued slashing out, but Mika kept looking backwards and hopping forward. Pretty soon, she was literally skipping as he tried and tried to hit her. Finally, Mika turned around and caught the man's hand. She delievered a knee to his gut, causing him to fall to the ground.
"What do you want?" she asked, looking up at the other two. "Uh... we were just wondering if you were a ninja," the short one asked. Mika blinked, confused as to what the question was. Did they want to know if she was a village ninja....... or a missing ninja. She took her time answering, but she slowly nodded. The man she kneed got on all fours as he tried to pick himself up. "We...... hate......... ninjas," he said, getting up and pushing her. Mika stepped back a bit into a wire trap that she tripped over. It trigger a rope bind that wrapped around her leg and pulled her up to a tree where she started hanging upside down.
And here she was now, dangling, looking at the three men who put her here. "You know, this won't hold me for long," she told them. "Yeah we know," the short one answered. He pulled out a bat and grinned. "Just long enough for us to beat you like a pinata." Mika's eyes widened as she quickly slipped one leg through the rope and fell downwards. She landed on her back with a thud and an "Ow". The men then started running back to town. Mika watched them go, but didn't care to chase them down. They would just slow her down.
