[Mission] The Target

[Yaku Fushinkou]

The boat was situated and parked on the dock. It was anchored and waiting for its toll to be paid. The captain of the ship was pacing back and forth as he awaited the signal. It was almost time.

"Wake up!" the captain shouted as he wrapped against one of the ships cargo. A lone sealed box was oddly pulled apart from the other shipment. It was inside this container that Mika had been concealed. Shinobi weren't welcome in this part of the world and he had been forced to be smuggled in.

It was dark, but mika could still feel all of his belongings and several blankets inside. It was time to leave.

"Lets go, get out of the there."

Mika quickly woke to the sound of the captain shouting. She figured they had arrived, so a quick flip of her hair out of her face and she was up and ready to go. She hadn't been informed of the mission yet, but she guessed he would tell her soon.

Coming out of the container, she looked at the man who brought her here. Tilting her head, she looked around and waited on what to do next. (OOC: sorry it took so long)

The container was open and the bright light of the sun would pierce Mikas vision as he was introduced to the real world. The ship had came to a stop and the captain directed him away to the side. A small ladder would lead down to the docks. Following this would lead to several more buildings that were grouped together by a fence. It was a small and humble village.

"You should find the informant waiting by the town well. Over there past the buildings. The code is "Birds swim." He pulled away and turned his gaze. The captain seemed to be disgusted with the idea of being involved. "That's all you need from me."

He grunted and slowly pulled away. Mika was left alone.

As the container was open, Mika held her hand over her face to block the light. It was still too bright since she was just in a dark thing. She followed the man, staying close and quiet, as he led her to the small village the mission would take place in.

After going down the ladder, Mika turned to the man and listened to what she had to do next. She slowly raised her eyebrow as he turned to leave and was left with a confused look on her face. "Birds swim?" she quietly questioned. A weird statement, but after a while, she decided to forget about it. Shaking her head, she continued on to the well where she would meet her next informant.

The town was small, but the well seemed to be packed. A line had been made for water and several people were lulling about as they lingered here and there. It was almost impossible to tell who was the right person. Before you could even start to look... you hear a slight whisper from behind.

"Are you the one?..."

Mika quickly went to the well and saw the line of people. She wasn't expecting this at all. She was told to meet one person, not several. She had no time to go around, saying the code word to all of these people. They might not even be the people she was supposed to say it to to begin with. Suddenly, a shiver went down her spine as she was spoken to from behind. Not wanting to stand out, she decided to whisper back. "Birds swim," she said quietly, questioning herself if that was the right time to say it.

The voice became friendlier within an instant as if Mika had just flipped a switch. It was sudden, but a welcome change to the dark undertone of their mission. If anything, the stranger seemed to be happy by your response. Not surprised, but relieved.

"Ah, yes yes! Good." The stranger seemed to slap you warmly on the back. A signal to turn around. He was wearing a light green turban wrapped tight around his head. Several bandaged hung loosely in fashion around his arms and neck.

"Yes, yes. We are glad to have your help. Please, come come. Follow us."

He pointed to a nearby bar that was just down the road. The sign read "closed.'
