Ayuma sat in a tree outside of the small town, waiting for the ninja he was hunting to come out. He had not been here for long, but he had tracked the ninja down to this place, and was sure they would be there. He just had to wait. His job in the pack right now was more of the 'round up and turn in for diplomatic ties' type thing. It was kind of lame, but it was better than being around a bunch of people arguing. He hadn't realized how much he disliked conflict until he met up with the pack. Oh well. Things would be getting exciting soon. He preferred to fight with his blade, not his tongue.

Kankiiiiiii, Kumori whined, holding the last syllable. Remind why we're walking through this part of the woods. I thought we were looking for a town to sleep in. Kanki didn't answer. While Kumori started to slow his walking down a bit, Kanki continued forward. Her torn dress swayed back and forth. She decided not to keep her sword on her back this time, as she held the sheathed blade in her left hand.
Come on, or I'm leaving you behind, she said as she looked back to see Kumori walking slowly. His eyes widened before picking up the pace, quickly rushing back to Kanki's side. And be on guard. This area is heavily patrolled.
That explains why you're holding your sword, Kumori thought, as he activated his doujutsu.

Ayuma watched as the two moved through the forest, noting that the woman he had been looking for had a companion as well. It might work out better if they both had bounties on their heads, or maybe if they wanted to join the Pack. Then again, he really didn't think they needed more ninja. They had too many already, and things got way too loud. Still, he had to give them a chance.
Dropping down from the tree, the ninja walked out toward them slowly. "Greetings, friends. I don't have much time, so I'll skip the small talk. I represent an organization that is interested in you, whether you are interested in it or not. I suggest you accompany me peacefully so I can bring you to my companions. If you don't come peacefully, I'm afraid I'm going to have to force you."

Kumori smiled as his eyes seemed to glitter and sparkle in delight. "Interested in me? Really?" Kanki, on the other hand, wasn't as moved. Her eyebrow seemed to raise up slightly. The last org she was in disbanded due to everyone disappearing. Also, since then, she had been living in small disclosed towns that she finds while wandering. Was she being spied on for that long? She eyed the male with distrust, shifting a bit over to be on guard.
"I have a few questions before making my decision. First, we've been under the radar for some time now. To know anything about us means you must have done a lot of research. What peaked your interest in the first place?" Kumori noticed Kanki tighten her grip on the sword. "Next, this route isn't normally used for travel. You'd have to trail someone to figure out where they would end up. So, how'd you know we'd be here?" Kumori did finally realize the male jumped down in front of them. His eyes widened, knowing this wouldn't end well. "Finally, Your org is interested in us. Are you willing to fight us or was that your plan this whole time? Because I refuse."

The ninja sighed. "If there is no other way, then you give me no choice. I'll have to force you," he said, remorsefully. He did not like conflict, but the presence of this ninja was a threat that had to be dealt with.
Deciding not to risk injuring them, the ninja made a string of seals, then whistled. If he was successful, the two would be asleep within moments.

Kanki wasted no time in revealing her sword and charging straight for the man in front of her. Kumori, on the other hand, hesitated and activated his doujutsu. They both heard the whistle but they decided to ignore it, since it did nothing at first. Suddenly, Kanki stopped, dead in her tracks. Her arm started to tingle a bit, making her widen her eyes with shock. ...What the? She looked at the male, but couldn't keep her eyes open. She struggled as hard as she could, but to no avail. She was able to, however, look back at Kumori for a moment, who had already hit the floor. "Genjutsu..." she whispered, with a low growl. Narrowing her eyes, she looked back at Ayuma and glared at him before falling as well.

Doing as he always did with captive missing ninja, Ayuma placed the stasis seals on the two, and then carried them back to be looted and stored by the Pack.
