Mission: The Catacombs

The exterminator, a tall fat man with a receding hair line, a bulbous nose, and a thick mustache was waiting outside the entrance to the mausoleum. Every once in awhile a scorpion would crawl up from the tombs, and he would spray it down with a strong pesticide.

He had been told that a ninja was on the way to root out a good deal of the infestation so that he could safely pest proof the place.

The door to the mausoleum was open, and all that could be seen from the door was a dark stair case that extended down into the lower levels of the building, where the bodies were held.

The sun shined bright on this wonderful day as Sunny was dashing off to his mission destination, the heat didn't really affect since he was living in Suna for a while that he has gotten used to it. Its been a while since he has done a mission and lately he has been kinda slow on things so he thought that this would be the perfect thing for a wake up call.

He could see the mausoleum about 10 yards away and finished the final dash to get him where he had needed to be. Sunny pulled to a quick hault right before the man standing outside the place and he had a worried look on his face. "Don't worry I'm the ninja they sent to deal with the problem, i'll just need some brief info."

The exterminator shrugged. "There's not much to know, really. Old tomb, full of poisonous arachnids, and there are far too many for a man like me to enter the place safely. You just need to kill enough with yer ninja skills to bring it to a more manageable level, then I'll go down there and spread my poison around until they're all dead."

Sunny had heard the words the exterminator heard and was ready to get started with the mission, "Thanks" he said as he rushed through the door to the mausoleum and down to the catacombs. It was kind of sticky down there as spider webs surrounded his body and he quickly brushed them off, while walking down the stairwell he could hear the creeping of the scorpions as if they were right under his foot.

When he reached the last flight of stairs he noticed that the creeping of scorpions stopped for a few moments and anticipated that they knew he was hear and without hesitating he made a few hand signs and put his right foot on the side of the wall followed by his left and started climbing up the wall until he reached the top where he began to hang from the ceiling.

Sunny entered the first room pulled out a shuriken from his left cabs weapon pouch and tossed it on the ground to make some noise and all of the sudden a group of scorpions appeared from behind the rocks and what not. "Alright lets get this mission started!" said Aku as he pulled three kunai from his hip pouch and tossed them at the three closest scorpions.

*Kinobori no Waza [Act of Tree Climbing]

Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra, and it also teaches them how to run up trees and walk up walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are said to be the hardest location to learn how to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will be able to have any jutsu available to him (theoretically) because she can focus chakra as needed. Next the chakra released must be properly controlled.

This technique is for use on a moving target. Assuming the target is moving at a constant rate and direction, someone using this technique can easily compensate their aim in order to almost guarantee a hit.

He hit the three scorpions, and they died, but that didn't really do much to help the problem.

In fact, it actually pissed the scorpions off, and they swarmed up the walls and across the ceiling towards the aggressive youngster.
