[PB] Some Explorations

[Zao]

The mixture of yellows, oranges, and reds had just barely begun to illuminate the edge of eastern desert horizon of the Sand village at this hour. But the hour or the time of day was unknown to the young man and currently retired jounin as he sat with the depths of one of the handful of Scribes of Sand library's. A few simple candle were placed on the two meter by one meter desk which held numerous books and scattered scroll. The only semblance of organization was that the writings were scattered in a horseshoe fashion around the young man who sat in the middle of the desk with a single notebook and pen. Jotting a few more notes onto the bottom portion of the current page Zao then flipped to the next page as the top of the pen was lifted until it lightly rested against a soft look g set of lips. Even the man's hands appears to be rather soft looking,like someone who hadn't seen much hard labor in his life, like he had always lived in a library or something.

He had honestly lost count how long he had been here, but this was a common occurance when the scholar would stumble upon something of true interest to him. Having been assigned to this wreck of a library to help organize and catalog outs contents before preparing it to be moved latter once the new holding area was complete. But in his position the man had stumbled across a few scrolls written by a member of the Scribes of Sand, the organization that he had recently been recruited into, though after looking for her name to see if she had more insights on the work he found that she had left many decades ago searching for something. She had been a scholar and adventurer who was always looking back at the past and wishing to know more about it.

Currently the man finally put down the pen neatly beside the notebook and the proceeded to stand stretching both arms yoo over his head. The flickering light from his two personal candles and the scattered lanterns hanging from the ceiling crossed his bright blue eyes as they saw the faint glimmer of sunlight striking the eastern most window tops. Zao had hardly moved from the seat for about six hours, the scribbles in his notebook were him tracking through the same foot steps as the woman known as Sashi. He was had not only read her work but also the work she had based her own work from along with a series of old maps of Suna and Wind country.

They all seemed to be pointing toward a place in the western desert, but the details were s littke fuzzy and his concentration was waning due being up all night. Using his left hand to cover his mouth as Zao turned and navigated the dimly pathways that he had personally carved through the books and scrolls as he progressed through the job here. It took about five minutes to to exit the building and he's firm the dusty street as the early morning workers were stating to make their way to work or other places. Finding a small ramen shop that he would frequent two to three times a week ghee ordered some to go before heading back to the warehouse like storage building. Hoping some food and fresh water spill help to clear his thought a little...
