Ah, yes, Spring.

One of the Naegi clan's busiest times of the year other than fall. Most of the farmers were out and about these days in the fields farming and watering crops, tilling soil, moving trees, moving dirt, moving stones, moving literal actual crap.

It would be exhausting if it wasn't something they did literally every day.

Ikanbi herself was no different, though she floated above the ground below effortlessly and without a care in the world, Ikanbi still farmed the earth below and helped the others.

Where were they? Well, Ikanbi's farm of course.

Many of Sunagakure had left when Iwa had won the war, many had made their way to Ikanbi's farm, a bustling and lively place out in Wind Country, a safehaven and refuge for those from all walks of life.

Though, she was further out from the small village itself, she was out in the countryside, the farmland, alongside many Naegi clan members and other farmers and workers. Their were many of them, after all, and lots of work to be done.

After a few hours Ikanbi floated a few feet higher than she had been and drank a bit of water to cool her heated body.

There was still so much work to do.

Datura had been home for a couple of weeks now, feeling lighter and lighter every day that she walked the familiar cobblestone paths and sandy walkways. It was the beginning of Spring and her family was in full swing for the season. Helping out local farmers, supplying local markets and making trade deals on behalf of those who had lost so much during the war. It was on one such fine day that she had been summoned to one of the farms just on the outskirts of Suna. She was unaware of the pretense, so she packed all the necessities that a farmer would need from her family in order to thrive and prosper for the season.

Making her way through the village gates, she travelled the sandy dirt path as the warm wind blew across her face, swirling her bangs and trying to impede her vision. The thought of the wind trying to dance with her making her smile. Her mauve tunic style dress swayed behind her as she trekked forward, wanting to make sure to be home for dinner with Youji.

After several minutes of walking she came upon a very busy looking farm, all manner of people playing and working as far as the eye could see. It looked like a refugee camp of sorts. She slowed her gait and looked around casually, trying to parse out what could be needed of her here. They surely had enough hands with these many people, if there was a need for supplies she was sure the summons would have said so. It was while she was thinking that she saw a red headed pale woman flying about the property as she tilled the ground below her. “Uh...excuse me? Ma’am? I’m looking for the owner. My name is Naegi Datura, I was summoned this morning to come and help.” Though her voice was unsure given the sight before her, her tone was still soft and polite, adding to her angelic demeanor.

Finally, another Naegi.

Ikanbi had her adopted son, Naegi, Love, of course, but he was only one boy. For what they were doing, the feeding of hundreds, they would need more than his meager little chakra pool.

No, they would need a real Naegi, or perhaps two.

Love spotted her first, her name was Datura, he actively thought in Ikanbi's direction, which she picked up on eith her Emperor's Crown and turned, twirling through the air on the spot as she floated around the farm above the others to look at the newcomer.

"Ah, finally, yes, we had requested a Naegi clan member to help with production," Ikanbi had said lightheartedly as she began to descend from above.

Naegi, Love watched from a few meters away in a group of other farmers as Ikanbi floated down, the very ground beneath her moving slightly out if the way as though a mystical and invisible force disallowed the ground itself from touching her feet, which, it was disallowing. Kuuton itself permeated out from Ikanbi and carved the ground away, so even when she appeared to be standing on the ground she was actually floating above it in a small crater.

It was a silly byproduct of her flying technique. She literally could not touch the ground with her feet.

"My name is Ikanbi, welcome to my farm," Ikanbi of the sands had said with a grin.

"We don't have many Naegi here at the moment and we need to speed up crop production, it is a burdensome task for my Naegi son, whom is not err how to say....not quite fully recovered from his...err....uhhh injury." Yes, that wasn't a lie, Ikanbi thought after a moment.

Still, if one looked to the east they could see fields of freshly worked and watered soil, rows upon rows of it.

To the west, cattle. There was a tremendous amount of cows and sheep.

The noise from the chickens to the south however wa immediately apparent as soon as one got close enough and was a thunderous roar of barns.

There were hundreds of people here, there had been for a few years now, but the sudden intake of new refugees meant they needed more food too.

Ikanbi stuck her right hand out for Datura, "Pleased to meetcha!"

The energy surrounding the farm was organized chaos, the hustle and bustle of the workers had Datura's mind in a tizzy. She had spent many years in agriculture, both in Suna and in Iwa. But it had been a long time since she had seen so many people gathered in one area working towards the same goal, a goal that was only necessary because of the invaders now occupying her home. What a headache returning home has been, first her family reunion and the subsequent coldness they had shown Youji, her meeting with that odd Lucent in the temple, acquiring a new ward who seemed less than thrilled to have her, the strange man she had met in the market and now farming. At least it was eventful, though she had wished for a break from all the business she remembered from all those years ago.

Sticking her delicate tanned hand out to Ikanbi, Datura made the woman's acquaintance properly. "The missive wasn't very detailed. I did however bring a stock supply of seeds and I'm fully rested should you be in need of my help via chakra." Looking around she spotted Ikanbi's son, Love. She had seen him around a few times but had never actually made his acquaintance before, she idly wondered how far along he was with his studies in flourish. It was a staple of their clan and the teachings along with it helped to harbour a total understanding for their craft. "How is your son faring? Is he keeping up with his clan studies?" Her probing was genuine, Datura didn't have a nefarious bone in her body...well except the one that had grown for Youji's captor Kotaru. But thinking about him would only make her irrational and angry.

Focusing back on the present, Datura would be happy to train the boy. Perhaps it would be of greater help to his mom and her farm to have a skilled Naegi around at all times. It's part of why the Naegi were so integral to Suna, their work and methods with the earth and how to work it is part of what makes their desert home so lush and bountiful.
