She was meant to be training, or something, wasn't she? Kaori wasn't sure. She lost track. She often lost track these days. Of her thoughts, of time, of what she was doing, nothing came so easily anymore. She had found a very empty training ground and found comfort in the seclusion, having no idea it had been cleared for a reason. But quickly she had forgotten what she had planned to do with her time there. She made her way to the edge, almost as if to leave, but settled herself on a rock to simply sit and enjoy the solace. The young woman would barely be within sight of anyone watching, if they even bothered to look. She tucked her legs up under herself and settled her hands in her lap, looking out at the sky as the sun was rising.
One of her blue butterflies fluttered around her, the pollen glistening in the light made her smile even if she knew there was a poison in it. She'd long since grown used to it, though she knew the impact it would have on others. She could feel another fidgeting about in her hair and it made her giggle briefly. It was a sound she hadn't heard from herself in so long, her loss of years of memory was so disturbing to her, she had so few reasons to laugh or giggle anymore.
But at least she was home now, right?

[Closed] What was I doing?
"Take this fucking thing off already. I can smell the dirt and grass. We're far enough away." Katsu growled at the man behind her who seemed to take pleasure in the fact she couldn't see a damned thing. However, the one sense he couldn't shut down was that damned nose of hers. However, being that Katsu was right, the blindfold was removed and the shackles from her hands and feet unlinked. With the freedom the black robed man took several steps back and let the powerful woman flex safely. However, he made a note that wasn't exactly good news. There was another here. Wouldn't be so bad if the hair and unmistakable insects didn't betray her as Takashi's sister. "Tengu, the dog is in the yard but might be chasing butterflies." The man spoke into a transmitter but didn't interfere, yet.
Katsu sloughed off the shackles and stretched her tight muscles. She took in a very deep breath before rattling a bit at the end. The scents were lovely and caused the primal woman to shut her eyes before finding some grass with her feet and laying down in it. She let the tiny blades caress her back, shoulders, legs, and arms. After a second she banished the tiny monsters from within her as well. They crawled out of her throat as her jaw unhinged to start gnawing at the grasses and brush. With the freedom to breath Katsu began to truly relax. The tension left her almost completely as she ran her fingers through the tender greenery.
After a moment the smells began to parse out. The almond that permeated everything began to fade, mixing with everything else rather than overpowering it. The strong earthy tones came forward as freshly nibbled grass mixed with the dirt. The sweat of many past acts of violence stained the stones and the oak, ash, and thorn wood. The smell of large game animals in the far distance came forward too, causing the woman to salivate for a brief instant before something else caught her attention. Something that smelled almost of dust but with a distinct odor she couldn't place. It came with the smell of flowers, specifically the nectar. And beneath that was another smell. . . human. A girly too. Katsu wasn't alone and that revelation made the tension return almost instantly.
"Who the fuck are you? I already have a watchdog and have kept my word thus far. I haven't eaten anyone and I've made myself mostly agreeable. I only have the weapons inside me and I'd rather not bleed right now to get them out or make others. And last I checked Hanayo wasn't around to start another fire."

It wasn't that Kaori didn't hear everything happening behind her, she simply ignored it. At least at first she did. Her butterflies were disturbed however. The one that had been flying peacefully in front of her suddenly became erratic, the one in her hair flew out to join it and two more suddenly came up from the grass in front of her to join those two. All four fluttered about in front of her as if in a panic. "Easy, babies." Kaori whispered, turning her head to take in the sight of the behemoth behind her in the training ground.
She wasn't sure who, or what, she had been expecting to see but this certainly hadn't been it. Cerulean blue eyes went wide as she took in Katsu's form, her head moving as she looked her over from head to toe for a moment but her wide eyes were the only sign of surprise she showed. It was the only sign she couldn't hide as she schooled the rest of her reactions in her body language by staying seated on her rock. She tilted her head, her hair shifting with the motion to fall over one shoulder. "My name is Kaori." she answered simply, blinking a moment.
She couldn't help a smirk, not at Katsu's lack of clothing or even beastly form but rather the brashness with which she spoke. The voice was soft and almost listless. Struck the woman as odd but she didn't move or even open her eyes. Instead she made a mental note of it in the back of her mind. However, what she did do was send a silent command to her little monsters to roam a bit further out. Just far enough the almonds weren't as strong. They'd happily eat the foliage anywhere so there was no need to keep them close.
"Depends who you ask, Kaori. According to that fucker over there I'm just some bitch. He said dog but still. But, never was one for subtly so name's Katsu." She took in a deep breath and tried once more to place the scent of this girl. It came in a bit stronger now but the dusty sweet smell was masking it rather well. However, something did smell familiar, if only she could actually get a good whiff. She let out the breath with a sigh. "Just some bitch is right though. Just some dumb cunt who can't find someone and apparently can't die either. Shit, at this point I might as well just become a whore. Least then I'd be getting fucked by more than life."

Kaori tilted her head enough to try and look past Katsu at who she was talking about, immediately recognizing the ANBU uniform. "I suppose captors never do get points for their attitude towards prisoners... perhaps that is true across villages..." she remarks under her breath, almost idly as if she never meant to say it aloud. Somewhere in the back of her mind it wasn't lost on her that this was one of her brother's men, and he'd likely already reported to Takeshi that she was here, and speaking to someone who was clearly one of their prisoners. 'How will he feel about that? Knowing I am seeing someone treated the same way I was probably treated all this time? If only I could remember...' The thoughts caused a shudder to run down her entire body and she shook her head to try and clear them, looking down at her hands a moment before she pinched the bridge of her nose.
She cleared her throat before turning her blue eyes back to Katsu. "Well I am seen as a ghost... so what a pair we make." she said, chuckling between them. "So a ghost and a dog, what a pair we make... sounds like the start of a bad joke."

What was that sound? Soft clothing shuffling against itself and the sound of skin shaking. It wasn't a movement made on purpose, almost like a shiver? No, it wasn't cold enough for that. At least not out of temperature. It had to be something else. Yet, Katsu refused to open her eyes. At least with them closed she could pretend to be back in the land of rivers. A place where the frog song was almost deafening. A place where her people walked freely and if not happy at least comfortable. Least like this she could pretend Kaori was just another one of the girls out in the swamp catching fish.
"Heh, can see it now. One of the plays they used to put on. The spooky bitches. Story about a bunch of girlies who haunt a town around the solstice. Sounds like some shit Arsa could make happen. Ending would be some fucking grade school pups singing a damn song to dispel the evil women. Suddenly they all become human and turn into mothers for the orphans." Katsu couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all.

Kaori tilted her head as she listened to Katsu's description, smiling as she listened to the other woman chuckle. She wanted to ask who this Arsa was, but something stopped her. Something told her that wasn't a question to ask, not yet anyway. Instead she giggled at the mental image of such a play. It sounded cute, it sounded so innocent. She had a feeling she hadn't been around innocent in a long time. Though she could remember a time when everything was happy and innocent for her, she had made it a mission to make everyone around her smile, especially her family. But she couldn't find that within herself right now.
Yet somehow she had made this behemoth in front of her chuckle. Maybe she wasn't quite as lost as she thought.
"Mothers for the orphans..." she mused with a smile, looking around them at the training ground for a moment. It was a beautiful place, though it saw much violence every day as people often trained there. "Many would say that was my mother." she continued. "She had her own, but also adopted a few... had a big heart." She sighed quietly and shrugged.

The question struck a nerve with Katsu. It was like her heart had sunk past her stomach, past her waist, and clear down into her feet. It was now the titan opened her eyes and dispelled the peaceful image she had made for herself. The sky danced with leaves and clouds, but it wasn't her home. The reality had once again brought her mood back down. "In a way."
Katsu looked over at Kaori and finally took this girl in. She was well toned and fit of frame. But she was thin, haggard, and her face betrayed so much. The eyes were haunted. The way she held herself was guarded if confused. It was a look the primal creature had seen before. Loss. Judging by the way she spoke, the girl had lost her mother, probably recently. It was now the beast rolled over and faced the girl, lifting herself up on an elbow. "More seen a thing or two and know a thing or two. Collect strays, pets, and bodies. Let's say I didn't know how to help too often so just made it a point to keep them fed and protected. Take pups and get them blooded. Cause frankly this world doesn't suffer innocence long."

Kaori watched Katsu carefully as the woman seemed to observe her, her smile turning almost sad at her comment about the world an innocence. Only then did she finally turn her eyes away and look out at the skyline. "It certainly doesn't, does it?" she asked, the question almost more of a statement. "The last time I was in Konoha I still behaved like such a child... all I wanted to do was make everyone around me smile. Laughter was medicine to me, and to everyone around me." Her butterflies seemed to finally be calming down, two settling in her lap, one on her shoulder, and another taking the time to burrow into her hair again. The movements something that would have made her smile with joy once upon a time, but this time she didn't even react. "Such a childlike approach to everything... so naive."
She sighed quietly, still looking out at the sky and yet seeming to focus on nothing as her brow furrowed. "I don't even remember..." her voice trailed off. "Everyone keeps asking, but I have no answers." she whispers. "I just know I'm different. I'm older. I feel it in my body, and in my mind. Next thing I knew I was walking back into the village... changed." she shook her head and turned to look at Katsu a moment.
"You look on the outside how I feel on the inside now." She knew she should apologize for a statement most would see as rude, but somehow she knew someone so brash wouldn't see it as such.

A pang of hatred shot through her for the briefest of moments. Katsu was looking into a mirror at this point. Years lost with naught but a semblance of what might have happened in that time. The hatred turned into violence as the primal woman clenched a fist. But it was staunched. The welling up of seeing her own pain thrown back at her had to be stopped. This. . . girl, was not her. Katsu was a beast, a warrior in all senses. Pain was her constant companion and her answer was to remedy it. This woman before her wasn't that, at least not outwardly. Not right now. She was wounded and the bleeding wouldn't stop on its own. With effort that thought caused the violence to leave her and be replaced.
"Sounds familiar, little one. A bit too familiar. And not the first time I've been told I look like shit. Especially not since coming back to life myself." Katsu got up and took a step towards the girl, watching her shoulders and the butterflies for reaction. Assuming none of hostility came she'd approach closer before taking a knee in front of her and clasping a hand on her shoulder. "No clue what happened to you but trust me when I say I can relate. At least a bit. And if it makes you feel better I'll even stop looking like you feel. Like I said, know a thing or two."

Kaori raised an eyebrow as she watched a reaction course through Katsu. I looked visceral, feral, but she didn't move. Fear did not flow through her, nor did guilt. She simply waited. Whatever the reaction, it seemed to pass after a few moments and she spoke. Kaori couldn't help a smile and a chuckle that turned into a grin. "Well you don't seem the sort to be insulted by petty facts." she countered, a glint of mischief in her blue eyes for a moment.
As if knowing what Katsu was doing, the butterfly on Kaori's shoulder fluttered away to rest on top of her head, leaving space for the woman's hand on her shoulder. The hand felt like a comfort, an odd thing for Kaori in the moment. The only touch that had felt like a comfort since her return was her twin brother's and the girl let out a sigh, nodding. But as the woman offered to 'change' she laughed. "I never said your appearance bothered me, don't go putting words in my mouth, Katsu." she told her, shaking her head.
She tilted her head to the side, resting the side of her face on Katsu's hand on her shoulder. "You know... I'm sure your confines don't allow you to enjoy some of Konoha's finer points..." she nodded towards Katsu's 'babysitter' to emphasize her point. "I bet I could find a way to smuggle you something though." she added, thinking of the position she was assuming her brother had to hold by now. She was sure she could find a way to get some good food to Katsu, or maybe just bring something to a training ground and meet her sometime.
"What are your favorite foods? Or teas maybe?" she asked, suddenly raising her head to turn and look at Katsu directly before pointing a finger. "Other than apparently bloody body parts!" she added playfully, inferring from things Katsu had said earlier.

The woman shrugged and removed her hand to sit on a knee with her other leg raised, arms resting on it. It was an offer at least. Least Katsu didn't have to put on clothes so she'll take that at least. However the inquisition came a bit out as a shock. As it came to a close the bestial woman couldn't help but grin before laughing. It was a good deep belly laugh too. Sensing a chance to change the air Katsu bit the hook.
"Truly favorite food? Gotta say those bloody body parts. Least while they're still warm. The texture drives me wild and the feel of the warmth dripping down my chin is something I couldn't describe. but I haven't had much else besides that. The odd stick, some leaves. Hanayo brought me some rice with fish that was good enough. Besides, more about what it does for me. A good meal can heal even the deepest cuts." Katsu took the chance to crack a joke here, judging from the girl's demeaner she might enjoy it. Granted, it was a hope only. "Now my favorite thing to eat? Gotta be some pretty little thing kinda like you. And with that I get music with my meal. But if you can smuggle that in I'd have to wonder who's dick you sucked to make it happen."

Kaori grinned as Katsu laughed, sitting up a little straighter and unable to help feeling a little accomplished at managing to get such a genuine laugh out of the other woman. She had such a dark demeanor and yet had laughed so genuinely with her at something so simple. It felt like a win, especially in what was feeling like a new friendship. As Katsu went on about favorite foods of course Kaori shook her head at the bloody body parts bit. It seemed Katsu couldn't help herself. "Well I can at least promise to get a good meal to you, one way or another. If I can't get it to you, I can at least meet you at a place like this and make sure to bring one with me." she managed happily, a light returning to her eyes.
Though as the conversation moved forward, and so did Katsu, Kaori became confused for a moment. She tilted her head and looked at Katsu for a moment, the comments taking a moment to click before she realized just what Katsu was getting at and suddenly the blush spread quickly, running from her cheeks up to the tips of her ears. She couldn't help a bit of a squeak before she stammered and cleared her throat, running a hand through her hair as she forgot about her poor butterflies for a moment. One tumbled from the top of her head and fluttered around in upset, the other from the depths of her locks and both swirled around her head before settling on her shoulders in a fluster.
"I... uh..." she swallowed hard, unable to control the deepening of her blush.
Though as the conversation moved forward, and so did Katsu, Kaori became confused for a moment. She tilted her head and looked at Katsu for a moment, the comments taking a moment to click before she realized just what Katsu was getting at and suddenly the blush spread quickly, running from her cheeks up to the tips of her ears. She couldn't help a bit of a squeak before she stammered and cleared her throat, running a hand through her hair as she forgot about her poor butterflies for a moment. Katsu teased a bit more and leaned in now, getting real close to the girl with a wicked grin. She intentionally let out a bit of that primordial threat that constantly pervaded her. "Oh come now, you're acting like you're caught in naught but yer skin before some grand meeting." The great woman shifted and brought more of her body closer to lean into the flurry of fluttering insects and getting right in there. She let a hand reach for Kaori's to grip it and pull her forward just slightly. "After all, I should know. If you want some advice, embrace it. Embrace that feeling and relish in it." There was a tinge of wicked venom to her almost whispered words. "After all. . . There's nothing left to lose so might as well take everything."

Kaori wasn't sure her eyes could get any wider, but if they could, they did. Blue eyes trapped by green as she stared into Katsu's. She had yet to be frightened of the woman, in spite of the fact she was clearly a dangerous prisoner by Konoha standards, the ANBU guard made that clear enough even if her countenance didn't. Nothing had really scared her since her return, save for the emptiness of her own mind and memories. It made her wonder if there were far more terrifying things in her empty memory and nightmares than Katsu herself.
Being pulled closer by Katsu kept the blush on her face and up to the tips of her ears firmly in place, and the scent of the woman started to swirl around her. A scent of earth, grass, blood, and something unfamiliar. Her head tilted slightly as she took it in but her eyes remained firmly on hers as she heard her words. The grin grew wider. "Clever girl." In the back of her mind a monster was screaming. The beast wanted to feed, both carnally and literally. The smell of this girl's skin was intoxicating. But it was suppressed. Instead Katsu moved closer and wrapped an arm around the girl's waist. She pulled the girl in closer and made their bellies touch. Another arm wrapped around the girl's head and pulled her closer, pulling her into the titan's chest with the feral head atop the smaller.
Katsu wrapped her legs around the girl too, fully embracing her. She let the temptress persona she adopted settle in for a bit. Let the madness of the concept completely overtake the air and meld with the serenity of this picture. A hand danced up and down the girl's back. "Just know little one, things can change rather quickly. Strength lost can be gained again. Control can be relinquished or taken. . . Innocence. . ." Katsu let that word linger as it was spoken. The threat tinged whisper hung with a certain level of sorrow. "Is the only thing that can never be brought back." At this she slightly squeezed, a pure gesture with no malice. "So embrace the loss of it. There's peace in rage and pleasure to be found in the pain. And that lust will never leave. So embrace it and make it yours."

Kaori didn't pull away from the hold, rather she let herself melt into it. Even her butterflies fluttered about and shifted their positions to rest in places where they could still touch Kaori but not be crushed by the hold. As she wrapped her arms around Katsu, as best as their difference in size would allow, and rest her head against her she could almost feel the tension she was sure her twin was sure to be feeling. She didn't have to glance at the ANBU member watching to know he was likely reporting this back to him, but she didn't much care. There was a comfort here, and she could feel that whatever Katsu was, whatever threat she naturally exuded, she was not going to harm Kaori. It wasn't that she innately trusted this near stranger, she simply could feel it.
She listened as she spoke and sighed quietly. "I miss what I was..." she said quietly. "...but I know I can't go back." she admits. "But I just... I wish I knew what changed me." she added. "There's no memory, there's nothing... just empty spaces and holes in my mind, there's nothing to be found... loss without reason, without cause..."

"I can't help you regain those memories." Katsu had begun to play with Kaori's hair. "But I can help you forget the pain of that loss. I can teach you to bear it and keep moving." The titan shifted once more to place a hand on the girl's shoulder. "There is pleasure to be found in the pain. There is peace in the rage of that loss. You just need to reach out and take it. Take from it everything." At this Katsu finally begun to let the temptress act fade. She spoke with a deem sadness that was tinged by her own rage and conviction. "What is broken can be made something new. Something better. Take it from the dead, girl. Besides, sometimes its better to do the fucking than keep getting fucked."

Kaori felt her eyes flutter closed slowly as Katsu played with her hair, a look akin to a rare bliss slowly overcoming her features as her body relaxed in the Titan's arms. She listened quietly as Katsu spoke, hearing the shifting in the woman's tone, though her last statement brought a smile to her lips and a quiet chuckle to her breath. "Well I can't speak on fucking." she admitted. "I don't have any experience on it, and I'm pretty sure I still don't," she added the last phrase with a momentary frown as she thought of her gaps in memory, "And I don't know if I'm even ready for that." she added with a sigh.
"But fighting... that I was raised for... and I can train for it again. That I can do." she admitted. "My parents were both warriors, and talented ones at that... I was supposed to be just as good. I can still be that at least, that I can take back..."

The puzzle had begun to fall into place and Katsu made a note to have a chat with Tengu. This girl needed help, more than the beast could fully provide right now. The sad reality had begun to sink in that it wasn't the loss of a loved one. This pathetic creature had been captured and held. The only small solice Katsu could take is that she had survived and kept herself in one piece. Indeed, the laps in memory was probably a good thing. A sad reminder of a scar to staunch the bleeding of whatever they did to her. As it were, Katsu chose her confinement for now. Kaori had not. Katsu squeezed tighter as the deep rage forced itself to the surface. She molded it now, hammered the hot steel into a lethal point. That point faced outwards at shadows as she held Kaori.
Kaori's words finally let Katsu let go. She pulled back and looked this girl in the face. There was no longer a mask. The seductive demon was abandoned and so was the peaceful creature from home. Katsu let the rage tint her face. She allowed the stoic determination to come forward. Indeed, the great woman's wicked grin came back. That look of bloodlust and violence that betrayed her oh so often. "Now there's something else we have in common. Lust is a powerful thing. Can drive someone to such bliss. The madness of conflict." Katsu's eyes grew excited. "You can get lost in that madness. It's wonderful. Nothing else matters except for taking your pound of flesh. Nothing but yourself and your pray. . ." At this the primal woman became visibly excited as her breathing pace soared. "Take it from them. Bathe in their submission. Give them nothing but your hatred. And exact from them everything."
A titan couldn't contain herself any longer. The instinct began to rise rapidly as she became lost in the lust for violence. Her body shifted and molded painfully. The sound of sundering skin and cracking bone. She held this girl close as talons formed from her fingers. Her husky voice turned into a gleeful growl as tooth turned to fang. From base of spine came the writhing weapon as it coiled around still dripping the crimson life of it's manifesting. "You have the power to make them suffer or to push yourself forward. Show me what this power can do. Show me your violence. I'll take it and sharpen you if I must. Cause trust me, I'd love nothing more than to bring you down to my level and watch you become that warrior."

As Katsu pulled back and looked Kaori in the face once more, she returned the gesture, taking in the woman's look and demeanor. She seemed to shift and change right before her, at first just in visage but before long she could hear the signs of far more. She didn't leave the woman or flinch away, but she did pull back just enough to give her a little space and take in what she was seeing. She wasn't watching in fear, but in curiosity. She couldn't help but think this change had to come in pain, but she didn't see signs of it in Katsu's face. If anything she had to guess the woman appeared to enjoy it.
Out of sheer curiosity, Kaori reached for one of Katsu's hands with both of hers and held it between them gently. She ran her fingers gently across the talons that had formed. Her blue eyes taking in the sight of them in simple curiosity. As Katsu spoke of Kaori showing her her own violence, her brow furrowed in thought. She had no transformation to show, nothing of the sort. All she had...
Her blue eyes lifted suddenly, shimmering and yet hardened as she stared into the Titan's eyes. She pulled from her left hip in a fluid motion a wakizashi of beautiful make, of rosewood and black metal, holding it up between them. With the motion of her drawing the weapon her blue butterflies swirled in swarm behind her in a spiral as her eyes traveled the weapon and she sighed. The motion of the butterflies seemed to cast a light of the sun on the bracers on her forearms as well. "My weapons may not be part of my flesh but... I was raised with them in my hands as if they were..." she said quietly.

A weapon came into play now and the beast responded. The madness was pushing forward but it could be contained. It had to be as a promise must be kept. However, sometimes madness was needed.
Katsu watched the swirling display with a hint of glee. She savored the idea of what was to come next and brought her own wicked dagger of a tail up to meet it. The crimson display melded with the bluish silver of steel and the dance of the butterflies. When the blood dripped katsu unfurled herself from the girl and let the dagger glide across her cheek. "Show me the warrior. I want you to get lost in it. You can't hurt me, so let the madness reign. . ." The titan took a few steps away and spread her arms wide. "it'll help, if for a moment then forever."

Kaori's eyes flickered from her own blade to Katsu's face as the women let the dagger glide across her cheek, and for a moment something dark flitted across her eyes adn then was gone. She stood as the other women took steps away and she let her words soak into her and she looked at her. Her mind went over what she knew, so much of it was defensive, learned by a child determined to keep herself safe, except for a few things she learned directly from her father and an odd sort of smile crossed her lips. "I left something out in my introduction to you, Katsu." she began, brandishing her blade with a flourish before putting it away. "But if we are to let madness reign... you should know... my name isn't just Kaori." she admitted. She let chakra flow over her bracers and clicked them together in front of her in an unnecessary flourish as they glowed with Katon chakra. "My name is Natsuki Kaori." She knew the name would be enough, especially to a prisoner.
She was the daughter of the former Hokage. She'd kept it to herself for a reason, but if Katsu was going to encourage madness she felt the Titan deserved to know that even if Kaori was just a genin in power, in her blood rested a power and determination that was well known.
As punctuation for her own name her hands were already in seals, her breath released a fireball which she could have waited to ignite, but she did not, she quickly kai'd the technique for the fireflies to seek the Titan herself. Every technique were one of her father's.

Prolonged contact with weapons will also heat them, potentially damaging opponents weapons with repeated strikes. This technique can last for a maximum of 4 posts.

A look of "oh fuck' came across Katsu's face as she recognized the name. Katsu had just kicked a hornet's nest that would swarm out and envelop her at once wrong mistake. She had to play carefully here as even so much as a nick on this girl would bring out the alpha. Granted, that could be used. Tengu was reliable thus far, if slow acting. However, he kept his word. If the primal woman could get the Hokage to finally meet then there would be more chances to get a better bargain. Perhaps one where Katsu could take the dregs of this city and give them a fated choice. But to secure that the feral creature would need to practice control once more. And that would be made most difficult.
"Why is it always fucking fire?" Katsu thought to herself as she watched the seals being formed. The initial formations were unmistakable and once more the beast felt that sinking feeling. She actually gulped as the old fear swelled up and made instinct very nearly take over. The struggle to not respond in unthinking violence caused hesitation that spelled the first blood of this encounter. The explosion caught her off guard and several of the construct bugs scorched her exposed arms and core. Katsu had to put the work into starting to dodge and deflect them. A few were batted away with the weapon at her back, leaving their mark but ultimately causing minimal damage. Several more were tricked into going directly into the ground where she stood. However, the number was a bit too much and the creature had to resort to straight up running a wide arc around the girl.

Regardless of if the incindiary bugs chased or not Katsu would cut quickly by latching onto a training log and running directly at Kaori, closing the distance at her maximum possible valocity. As the last couple of meters closed she'd leap into the air and spin her legs around, coiled and ready. The strike would come extremely rapidly. Hit or miss, the titan would land upon the ground and resume her low posture with the dagger-like tail aimed directly at the girl and wait for the response.

As the katon ball exploded and Kaori watched her new friend, no her opponent, try to react something washed over her and a smile like a cheshire cat overcame her features. It was like a life renewed washing up in her that she hadn't felt in a long time had welled up within her. The start of the fight washing over her as blue eyes watched the moves of Katsu as she had to rush around her to avoid the fireflies of her technique and she took in every move and motion and realized something vital. Yes, Katsu was faster than her, but not by a lot. She had automatically assumed the Titan would be far faster and far stronger than she and suddenly she remembered Takeo's first lessons. 'Assume nothing, prepare for everything.' she reminded herself silently. It was a lesson learned from both her mother and father in fact.
She tracked Katsu's progress and already her mind worked on a response, her body shifting and moving as she watched, already waiting for what she felt would be a very physical response. She rolled quickly as the Titan came down, the kick grazing her body and almost stumbling her given their closeness in speed but her arms came up on reflex. Her strength did not outmatch her opponent's and she could not deflect the dagger-like tail, only meet it with one of her bracers rather than the hand the move usually called for, but she used that to strike at the Titan's face with a follow up from her elbow and a snarl on her face and from low in her throat.

This particular style of rolling focuses on fast paced combat, used offensively or defensively the user can seamlessly drop low into a roll, forwards, backwards or sideways from a standing or running start or even in response to being forcefully shoved backwards. Naturally due to the high amounts of force the user must be adept at dispersing the impact of the roll, this is done by dropping into a squat, then distributing the impact momentarily at the knee then across each shoulder in quick succession.

The searing strike landed it's mark and Katsu tanked it full on. The great beast hadn't regained all her strength but she had enough to resist the blow and simply glare back. However, the sound coming from Kaori excited her bloodlust. The fiery pain that emitted from a now dislocated jaw did nothing to quell that and the instinct was coming to full front. For now though the titan was wielding it rather than succumbing to it.
The sound that emitted from the girl caused the feral creature to smile with an almost evil glee. From her crouched stance she responded in kind. Once more the beast let her own animalistic cry be known. It started with a low growl as the blade was deflected and the attacks absorbed. It became a roar as the creature lashed out in retaliation again. A claw snapped out aimed at the torso, a slashing belly wound intended. It was followed by the dagger coming around aiming for the waist now only a split second after the first.

Kaori's mind was working fast, the first elbow strike landed beautifully, but the second landed like hitting steel and her mind clicked. It was as her father taught her, to expect more. Using the Titan's own body to duck under a limb she rolled again, this time away from her just as the first claw came around. The tearing of fabric could be heard but her flesh was barely spared. If not the quick thinking taught by her father it would have been far worse, after all Katsu was both stronger and faster than her, even if the two were closely matched. The second attack of the dagger she met with another snarl, and a hand, barely managing to push the weapon down and driving herself forward to try and knock the Titan at least off balance and pressing her searing gauntlets into the other woman's body. It wasn't what the technique was meant for, but it was certainly useful.
Yet between snarls the girl had never released in a battle before she was doing more than that. She was laughing with glee as if she was having fun, as if this were all a game.
In the hopes that the searing gauntlets would lend to a distraction to Katsu, Kaori hoped to capitolize on the move and bring a knee up into the other woman's torso and at least wind her, and follow up with a simple playful shove to knock her over, still laughing as her hair flew in the breeze.
Yet between snarls the girl had never released in a battle before she was doing more than that. She was laughing with glee as if she was having fun, as if this were all a game.

The ignited gauntlet came up and once again Katsu could smell the scent of burning pork. The growl turned briefly into a grunt before the knee came up. Once again Katsu locked her body around the shot and looked up. The mix of fury and glee was a remarkable sight to behold as the titan now roared. She dropped her stance back low during the bull rush and kept her legs wide. However, the bullrush would be halted as the titan aimed to lock up the girl, granted she had to keep some level of restraint.
"Common, girly you can hit HARDER!" The titan screamed in her face and balled up a fist. She came in with three shots to the chest aimed directly at the solar plexus. The move was aimed to hurt, not harm. But the follow up headbutt would be the release of the bind as the titan went to reset. This time her stance set wide as if a traditional boxer and a huge grin on her face.

Kaori outright laughed at Katsu's statement. She shouldn't have, and she knew that. Both of her parents would have scowled at her for allowing the distraction, and it certainly worked. The punches against her solar plexus were painful, but bearable as she grunted with each blow, gritting her teeth, but she'd regret the way she braced for that pain on the Titan's follow up move. Her head snapped back with the blow and she staggered back as the blood flowed from her nose, broken. She took a moment to wipe the blood from her face and looked at Katsu for a moment, but she grinned at her and laughed outright. She licked from her lips some of the crimson fluid that had run into her mouth before wiping her face with the back of her hand. "Oh that's lovely now." she replied, something like a growl in her throat again.

"Oh this is gonna be good." Katsu made an effort to close the distance by pushing off her back leg to strike before the attack could complete. With a weapon in play Katsu thought to disarm her with a trick she'd learned. . . unfortunately that wouldn't happen. The pulsing fire caught the woman completely off guard and mid movement. The scorching blast knocked her backwards as the entire front of her body was engulfed in flames. This one actually made the woman scream out in pain and panic. However, she landed on her feet, if stumbling. With the front half of her body now completely covered in burns and several open wounds the titan was finally truly beginning to struggle with keeping her more feral instincts down.
A crimson aura began to manifest from the woman as she once again locked with those beautiful blue eyes. A threatening hiss had begun to radiate outwards, mixed with the predatory growl. While the woman was still there, the beast was starting to take control. It showed in her stance too. She hung almost limp with tension roiling and ebbing with each passing second. However, the tenuous grasp on her instincts was at least holding by a thread. The titan spit out blood that'd been pooling in her throat and let out a gutteral voice that echoed a preternatural venom. "Come the fuck on, warrior. Harder."
Katsu reached down and grabbed a fist full of foliage and leaves. Her other hand tore a chunk from the nearby training log. Both were stuffed in her mouth as she gnashed at the biomass. A crimson aura began to manifest from the woman as she once again locked with those beautiful blue eyes. A threatening hiss had begun to radiate outwards, mixed with the predatory growl. While the woman was still there, the beast was starting to take control. It showed in her stance too. She hung almost limp with tension roiling and ebbing with each passing second. However, the tenuous grasp on her instincts was at least holding by a thread. The titan spit out blood that'd been pooling in her throat and let out a gutteral voice that echoed a preternatural venom. "Come the fuck on, warrior. Harder."
Katsu reached down and grabbed a fist full of foliage and leaves. Her other hand tore a chunk from the nearby training log. Both were stuffed in her mouth as she gnashed at the biomass. "Tengu, the dog is in the yard but might be chasing butterflies." The voice of a grizzled, older man cracked over the intercom in Takeshi’s ear. Not exactly what he wanted to hear while he was waiting in bed for his girlfriend. “Oh, come on” he muttered, before furrowing his brow, attempting to decipher the simple code. It took a moment for his brain to come fully back online. ‘Butterflies, Kaori?!’ he realized, scrambling to gather his clothes before realizing that leaving Nakano wanting was likely to get him stabbed. Forming hand seals, a clone of himself appeared in a puff of smoke, who promptly took his place back in bed.
Fortunately, he was already in ANBU headquarters, the perks of having a girlfriend within the same squad, though they did also own an apartment together. Dressing in his uniform he donned his mask; crow-like visage representing the guardian spirit, Tengu. “What’s their status?” he questioned, muttering softly. Nakano was expected any second. “Friendly for now…maybe too friendly” the man known as Ookami replied. Tengu’s chakra flared, “What? What does that mean?” his chakra flickered as he seemed to vanish, his invisibility technique activating. There was no answer. Maybe he wouldn’t want to know, and the older man was simply sparing him the details. That thought filled him with near as much dread as the thought of his twin sister being in danger.
Slipping past Nakano as she approached the Commanders room, situated in the center of the segmented squad quarters, Tengu hastily approached the training grounds Katsu had been designated to. Most people had begun to avoid the area as word spread throughout the general population of the beast that Anbu kept on a leash. He had managed to keep the information contained within Konoha, but he wondered if perhaps he required stricter surveillance and protocols. Kaori had only just returned to Konoha after several years of being declared MIA. There was no telling what kind of condition she was in mentally and Katsu was dangerous; a beast fueled by both violence and lust and he wanted neither one of them around his sister just yet.
Getting closer, moving through the underground tunnels, Tengu heard Ookami’s voice once again, “They’re fighting now. Should I interfere?…she’s…doing well actually” the man commented, seeming to manage to blend amusement with some semblance of professionalism. Takeshi felt a strange twist of relief and concern. He steeled himself. The situation was changing rapidly and there was no telling how quickly it could get out of hand. He wanted to respond, to protect his sister and put an end to it. But as he emerged from the tunnel he head the distant growls and grunts, heard even what sounded like laughter for a moment. Takeshi’s byakugan activated and he homed in on the combatants, some 400 meters away. “No, let them fight. I’ve got eyes on them” he said, his heart swelling with pride and happiness as he watched his sister fight using their father’s techniques. It had been years since he had seen her fight and he wondered if he might never see that fiery light returned to her eyes. It reminded him that Takeo’s spirit not only lived on in himself but also in his sister. That no matter her suffering or loss of memory her Will of Fire would not be broken.

Kaori had been expecting some kind of immediate retaliation for her katon technique, and so the moment her flames had lashed out, she kicked back against the ground and rolled back before flipping herself backwards a couple times to get out of Katsu's reach. But it seemed that was unnecessary, at least for a moment. She skidded to a stop with a distance between herself and Katsu, both staring one another down as the Titan chowed down on... local foliage. Kaori tilted her head in confusion and couldn't help another laugh. "Well that's... different." she admitted, still laughing. Blood was still dripping from her broken nose, hardly something she could heal in the moment after all. Katsu may have had a way to heal, but Kaori didn't have that luxury.
Yet at Katsu chowed down, the kunoichi at least took a second to lift both hands and snap her nose back into place with a grunt and flung her hands down to her sides to discard the blood, wiping her hands on her pants afterwards. One of her butterflies fluttered by her ear and Kaori quickly shook her head. "No." she said aloud to the critter sternly. "Stay out of this." she added, the butterfly fluttering away back to the rock she had previously been sitting on, making it clear she had no intention of bringing her swarm into the fight.

She aimed her left fist for a direct hit to Katsu's face before spinning to swipe at Katsu's torso with the blade, knowing she wouldn't need to slash with the blade itself for that maneuver to damage the Titan.

As they do this, their hand will be engulfed in searing hot flames, strength of the burn is based on the User's [Control]. They will then put all of their body weight and force into a single punch, but as they complete this initial attack the flames engulfing the user’s hand will explode violently forward. The blast is very limited in range however, only extending forward about six inches and if it's not used within a post of initiating the technique it will fizzle out, wasting chakra.

The strike had come and the beast moved on instinct. She opened her gaping maw as it became filled with predatory teeth. The growl turn into a roar as the beast went in for the bite at the hand. At the last second she mastered herself though and snapped the jaw shut, instead tanking the blow on her still mending jaw. However, the blast of fire afterwards had done it's job. The predator's jaw was ripped from it's socket and the flesh melted away. Her right eye was caught in the conflagration as well searing it shut. The second blow wasn't even noticed as Katsu's core was lit up to leave a grizzly gash of singed flesh and dripping organs. The beast tanked it and staggered backwards. Sadly, it had seemed almost too much.
Katsu took three steps back and registered that her own intestines had begun to spill onto the ground before her. The searing pain and intense burns would have slain anyone else. This monster looked up as almost all civility had left her one good eye. What was left of her mouth had twisted into a feral smile of mixed hatred and lust. The only sounds coming from it was a guttural and visceral scream. It resonated with feral agony and the woman was finding it impossible to master herself. The parasite made itself fully manifest and the creature grabbed her own dripping guts to yank them forward, tearing them from her body into a roughly twenty foot long makeshift rope. She snapped her jaw back into place and let her regeneration mend some of the tissue there. Enough to speak.
"Come here you pretty little thing. Time to get lost in the madness."

The jaw slightly deforms as each tooth is rearranged. The host's teeth is replaced my predatory pointed teeth that resemble a mix between a caynid's and a monitor lizard. These teeth range from a quarter of an inch to a full inch in length, with the k-9s being the longest at an inch and a half.

The host's head grows two symmetrical horns from their forehead, just above the brow line. These horns come forward about two inches before curving upwards and back towards the back of the head. They then curve forward once more before terminating in a sharp point each. They're fourteen inches in length total.

Kaori dropped every technique in horror as she saw the state of Katsu. Though most of the differences were slight, she had thought the Titan could dodge, avoid, or tank anything she could throw at her. She never expected this. Had she gotten too lost in the fight? Too consumed by the fight? She was horrified at what she was seeing, and angry at herself. "Katsu?!" She took half a step forward, her hands moving to her face as she glanced around for the ANBU guard she knew had to be nearby, about to scream for help.
She didn't even register Katsu's words to know something was coming.
She felt the disgusting slickness of Katsu's intestine's wrap around her throat and yelped as she was yanked forward.

Takeshi continued to close in on the combatants, moving within 100 meters as Kaori slashed open Katsu’s stomach. He had hoped the altercation would come to a natural conclusion, and that perhaps his sister would be able to overcome the beast. She had been doing well, her combat prowess exceptional by the standards of most Konoha Genin. And yet, she faltered in the face of true, vicious madness. The moment Katsu grasped her own organs, eyes wild with bloodlust, Takeshi knew this was well beyond a spar. If she hadn’t lost control completely yet, she soon would. His hand moved into a half seal, activating the paralysing fuinjutsu inscribed on Katsu. “That’s enough!” his voice transmitted to Ookami who moved swiftly to separate the two, grasping Katsu by the throat and pulling her away from the teenage girl. However, as Katsu’s sharpened tail continued on its trajectory, Takeshi leaped into the air, launching a kunai infused with Fuuton at 42 Speed and Strength it rocketed through the air, faster than the young women could perceive.
He aimed to deflect the blade and pierce the tail, pinning it to the ground. Encased in Fuuton he would be able to alter the trajectory to account for any subtle shifts in addition to his already impeccable aim. Once Katsu was rendered unconscious and under control, Takeshi would land beside Kaori. His bird-like mask hid the panic on his features though did little to mask his voice. “Are you okay?” he checked in, placing a hand on her shoulder. In the moment he didn’t even care about keeping his identity secret from her. She wasn’t dumb, she already knew he was a member of ANBU, though she had never yet seen him in uniform. “You were winning until the end” he commented. Truthfully, he was equally impressed by Katsu’s tenacity. He could see now why she was so feared when she was at her strongest. Though staring down at her mangled form, already beginning to heal, he had to wonder if she might become a threat to Konoha. Perhaps there was too much Kirigakure in her to live among them. Still, her ferocity would be useful in honing his operatives, though it seemed likely too much to expose to the Genin of the village, even if his sister was exceptional. After performing the needed hand seals, the user covers a projectile they are holding in fuuton empowered wind. Then, when the weapon has been thrown as normal, the user is able to change it's direction by up to 90 degrees once with no drop in momentum on the projectiles part. This technique only lasts one post.
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
After much training and study, the practitioner has learned how to read an opponent's movements and adjust their aim accordingly to compensate without penalty. This Discipline allows the practitioner to accurately hit moving targets, though sudden changes in the opponent's movements will still affect accuracy.

Sudden and explosive electric charge radiated throughout the feral woman's body. The intense agony locked every joint she had, curled every muscle, and halted the movement. It didn't matter that her blade had been so cleanly pinned, she had once again become a caged monster, thrashing in vain against her own self to escape. However, the sensation was familiar enough, and the familiarity of her death unleashed a greater rage. Upon the ground, groveling at the energy coursing every muscle, Katsu tried her damnedest to let out a primal challenge but failed. All she could let out was a wail of hatred directed at the world. In this fight the beast had won, Katsu had lost. The realization came only too late. The woman within fought to the surface for a last second to look towards Kaori, shame in her eyes. The shame of someone who lost more than a fight. When it was all she could do Katsu faded, allowing the intensity of the situation to bring back that temporary oblivion.

Kaori could have been horrified at what she was seeing, and in truth she was, but not for the reasons any observing might think. Her heart broke for Katsu, the loss of control. The two had been having fun and it was Kaori herself who had screwed up, at least in the girl's mind. As Katsu looked up at her with shame, Kaori moved to her quickly and touched the Titan's face gently and did her best to smile down at her. "Rest my friend." she whispered. She only stepped away when she felt a hand on her shoulder.
She didn't have to see his face or hear his voice to know who it was. Her twin would always feel familiar to her in presence. She turned and looked at him, blinking for a moment at the mask that faced her before she suddenly snorted and giggled at him, covering her mouth. She wasn't sure what made her laugh, especially given the seriousness of what just happened. Perhaps it was just that she wasn't expecting to face such a mask. She couldn't bring herself to even say anything in return to him as he wore the mask, it felt absurd to hear her brother's voice through it.
She finally managed to calm her giggles down when he removed it and she shook her head at him, her smile turning almost sad as he mentioned their father. "I learned so much from him." she said quietly.

Takeshi exhaled sharply; his relief palpable as Kaori giggled. She always had a strong spirit, seemingly unshakable. He had worried Katsu had pushed her too far, too soon but he should have known than any child of Takeo and Aina would have more grit than that. Their parents were legends in Konoha, each known to be relentless brawlers who enhanced their punches with Katon. Certainly, Kaori was living up to their legacy, even if she was still only a Genin. The foundation was there, and Takeshi had no doubt that she could catch up to him again within a few years if she fully dedicated herself to training. It seemed he was progressing at a rate comparable to their mother whereas Kaori was developing slower as their father had, who hadn’t even achieved Jounin until the age of 25 while Aina was already Bannin by 18. “I see so much of him in you” Takeshi said, truly of all of Takeo’s children Kaori was the one who embodied the 17th Hokage’s Will of Fire and fighting style the most closely. “You were always his favourite” Takeshi grinned, thinking back to how Kaori would cling to and play with their father the most out of them all. He had always been harder on their boys, drilling in the importance of being strong enough to protect their sisters. Most of Takesh and Yozei’s time with Takeo had turned into training in some form or another, but with Kaori he seemed to make more time to simply be a loving father. Though of course, she also took well to training under him and learning his techniques.
The young Hyuuga prodigy gestured to the collapsed woman, “Let’s get her back to a cell” he ordered, his tone one of calm indifference. Though he considered for a moment the way Kaori acted toward Katsu. “Have some steak waiting for her when she wakes up. I suppose she’s earned it” he decided, rewarding her as he would a dog, for that was as much empathy as he could afford for a former shinobi of Kirigakure. He didn’t like how close she had gotten to his sister, though in a way she had brought Kaori back to herself and that deserved recognition. As Okami slung the large woman over his shoulder and dashed away, Takeshi pulled his sister into a hug. “It’s so good to have you back Riri. Keep getting stronger. Dad would be proud of you and so will mom when she gets back. I know you’ll catch up to me again in no time, but I’m always here for you. Whether it’s training, missions or just someone to talk to. I’m not going to let you feel alone again” he assured. He had felt empty without her, and he suspected it was actually he who needed her in order to fill the void of his own loneliness. Outside of Anbu he had no connections aside from his family and he desperately wished to hold on to the dwindling remnants of the Natsuki-Hyuuga household. Time would tell if their bonds would be repaired or continue to be severed, but for the moment he allowed himself some small sense of comfort and normalcy as he held his twin close.
