It was early morning in Konoha, the sun had just risen, the rain from he day before left dew on the plants along the trees of the Great village hidden in the leaves. Just outside his home suddenly appeared a small bird with a message attached to its ankle, just as the small bird was about to enter Kurisu's window the birds wings flapping had awoken him. He awoke suddenly noticing the bird fly in as it landed on the end table next to him. He thought to himself A messenger bird? I wonder what it could be.

Kurisu reached over to the birds leg, grabbing this message labeled to his name, It read

Dear Kurisu,
You are to report immediately to front of the Academy as by orders of the Hokage.

He looked over the note, he knew it was an official letter because of the hokages stamp, one which could never be forged. Kurisu quickly leaped up and grabbed the bird and walked over to the window from which it came, He placed his hands up letting the bird fly free as it flew back to the mansion. He then turned around grabbing his favorite green shirt he usually would wear around the village and walked over to the academy.

As he arrived to the front of the academy this early morning he noticed no one was there, he looked around curiously, wondering what it was exactly that was going on and why he was summoned here in the first place. He looked over and decided to wait a little wile to see if someone showed up so he put his back against the wall, crossing his arms awaiting to see what he was called he for.

[Yasashikaze Seiken]

Seiken was taken aback at the rather abrupt letter he received from the Hokage's office, which indicated that his team would be expanded one slot further. Though it wasn't unwelcome, to stray from the customary 3-to-1 ratio wasn't something you saw everyday in Konoha. Not only that, but it was yet another clan member, this time a Senju. 'Well, there'll be variety, at the very least', he relented as he made his way towards the rear of the office. He took one look at the building and sighed deeply, a devious smile on his face. He flipped the folder in his hands open, and scanned through it. 'Let's see... assets and accomplishments: Mokuton ninjutsu, skilled student, near the top of his class... here we are: vices. What's it say...?' Seiken's eyes widened in interest. 'Oho! "A daydreamer if not focused on a task?" Heh. He and Sinoko should get along just fine.'

He quietly made his way up the side of the rear of the Hokage's mansion. The letter this student was sent directed him to wait at the front of the Hokage's mansion, and Seiken was pleased to see that his Kurisu was, in fact, there. Seiken crouched down and out of view of Kurisu. Making a few seals, a clone appeared right next to Seiken. The clone silently made his way closer to Kurisu, still staying out of sight of the genin, waiting for his flaw to make itself apparent...

*Kinobori no Waza [Act of Tree Climbing]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra, and it also teaches them how to run up trees and walk up walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are said to be the hardest location to learn how to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will be able to have any jutsu available to him (theoretically) because she can focus chakra as needed. Next the chakra released must be properly controlled.

*Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After forming the needed handseals, the user proceeds to create a number of clones of themselves (maximum is equal to the user's stamina). Unlike the Clone Technique, these clones are actual copies, not illusions. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing jutsu on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two solid blows. The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original and any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed.

Kurisu was on a constant look out, trying to see what exactly what was going on, why was he called here? he thought and why so early!? As this thought ran through his head he noticed him,his strange headband seemed to have caught him offguard, he looked to his left as he approached and smiled lightly, raising his body up from the wall of the Mansion, he then dug into his back pocket and raised the letter from the hokage up in his right hand, almost as if to reassure himself this was the reason the man was here. As the man drew closer he said out loud "Your hear for this too?"

He was unsure of what was to come, many thoughts ran through his head as the man drew ever closer, who was this man? is he part of this letter ordeal? And why am i awake at this time of the day! The boy yawned as he lowered the letter down and awaited the other mans answer.

The man came up to Kurisu with a face of confusion not sure of what he was talking about, he shook his head at Kurisu and walked into the mansion completely ignoring the words said to him by the young boy. Kurisu looks over and shook his head, he thought to himself Guess not.. he then leaned back against the wall and placed his letter in his back pocket and again taking his previous position with his arms crossed and head down. Man this is taking forever.. I hope this is good if they have me waiting this long

[Yasashikaze Seiken]

Seiken simply stood above where Kurisu was, out of sight and enjoying the view of the sun rising from the eastern side of the village. Suddenly, after a strong gust of wind and a few leaves flew into the air, something clicked in Seiken's head, telling him it was time to make his way down to his new genin.

What was this click, you ask?

You remember that clone? Well, that clone had been waiting for Kurisu to drop his guard, and he found his genin's awkward exchange and his irritation with Seiken's "tardiness" did just so. Before Kurisu could react, a torrent of leaves rose up and surrounded the genin. The clone jumped in and, using the leaves as shuriken, pinned the bewildered genin to the wall by his clothing. The clone stood there for a moment before dispelling. Seiken called out, saying, "Rule #1: Don't drop your guard on a mission. Sometimes, all it takes is for you to lose your focus for just a second..."

At that Seiken dropped into view, 7 feet away from Kurisu. "Good morning, Kurisu," Seiken chimed cheerfully, a smile on his face. "I am Yasashikaze Seiken, your jounin sensei."

look around confused as the leaves pinned him down,he struggled but to no avail. He was almost helpless against this attack. He somehow kept his calm as the clone seemed to have dissperes and was comforted to see the attack was just from a fellow village member, and not from an enemy ninja.

He looked up at the strange man and thought to himself A sensei? So thats what this is about.. He opens his mouth as he is pinned down by his clothes and says "My sensei?" He then laughs lightly and says "Well Yasa-sensei how about you let me outta here so you can tell me whats going on." He looked the man up and down, taking in every detail of his clothing and style, Kurisu was always one to be analitcal always watching those around him and there movements, he noticed the mans head band bearing a strange seal. Kurisu quickly came to the conclusion it was a clan seal, for it did not belong to any of the great ninja villages. He left his eyes staring at the headband as the man was standing before him

[Yasashikaze Seiken]

He smirked as the young Senju looked his new sensei over and eventually settled on his hitai-ate bearing his personal crest. Still, his headband was not the reason for their meeting. "We can talk about my crest later; for now, let's make our way to somewhere more private," he said, dismissively waving his hand. With that, he unpinned the genin from the wall and led him to a small restaurant, where they had a booth waiting for them. Seiken motioned for Kurisu to take his seat, then continued from where they had left off. So, Kurisu, give me a general personality profile: your nin-do or any aspirations you might have and other things of the like." While he spoke, he started to serve himself some rice from the bowl that had been placed on their table and began barbecuing some small steak strips.

After being led to the private booth Kurisu smiled as the food was set on the table, he leaned over and began to serve himself as his new sensei began to ask him questions he smilled while he filled his bowl, as the sensei finnaly finished asking he leaned back with his bowl of food and replied politely "Well sir, I wish to be the master of my jutsus, devoloping as many as i can, i wanna take the senju clan back to the top of the village and become the strongest ninjaof the leaf" he said with a proud smile."What about you sensei, why did you become a ninja?

Kurisu, after his question was asked, began to eat some of the rice and steak, taking small bites, his elbows off the table. Kurisu was a polite child, his father a stickler for manners and ethics.

[Yasashikaze Seiken]

Seiken stopped for a moment at Kurisu's question. He set his chopsticks down over his bowl and let out a quick sigh. "My reason for becoming a ninja... was originally to avenge the death of my parents... and to drown myself in my own rage." He took a sip from a cup of tea as he looked out the window, his eyes distant. "Back then, all I knew was the exhilaration of battle and the highs I received from slaying my opponents. It got to a point where I forgot why I became a ninja. And then... I met a good friend. She helped me move past my anger and my hatred. She helped me start to live my life again. She saved me, and I owe her much."

He picked up his chopsticks and resumed eating. "Anyways," he mumbled through a mouth half full of food. "Now that we have that out of the way, I have a test for you." His bowl finished, he set his chopsticks back down and pulled out a small scroll, sliding it across the table to Kurisu. "Your task is to go to the address stated in the form you see before you and assist in the care taking of five academy students. You are to return each day for the next week. Are there any questions?"

Kurisu was left in awe by his new sensei's sad story, he could tell that his teachers past had been a rough one, full of pain and sorrow. Kurisu sighed as the story was being told to him, he can see the sensei's pain in his eyes as the story was being told. After he mentioned a she, he began to wonder who it was that saved him from this path of destruction and reckless rage.

Kurisu then nodded as his new mentor gave him his orders and opened up the letter to see where he was to go. Upon reading the letter he smiled at this "easy" task, he was unfamiliar with most of the youth of the village so a mission like this would help him get acquainted with the youth of the village. He then proceeded in saying "No sir none at all."

As he finished his meal Kurisu excused himself from the table and bowed towards his sensei, thanking him for the wonderful meal he had provided before taking off to the place designated to him, he stood in front of the door and knocked awaiting an answer.

[Yasashikaze Seiken]

Seiken was rather pleased by Kurisu's prompt acceptance of this small mission. Despite his lack of focus at times, he seemed to be a driven young boy... unlike a certain Hyuuga he knew. Before he left, though, Seiken had a couple more things to say. "Before you leave, Kurisu, there is something I must tell you. Considering there may be missions where giving our real names away would cause issues, whenever the situation merits it, we will be using code names as identifiers for each other. Yours... will be Shouten (focus). Mine is Adauchi (vengeance). Your teammates Satoshi, Sinoko, and Cire are to be called Jinkei (mercy), Shinbou (patience), and Osore (fear) respectively. Just make sure to memorize those names for the future." After that whole shpeel, Seiken departed from the restaurant.

Kurisu would find the door he rapped upon answered quite speedily. An older woman was on the other side, a soft smile on her aged face and kind look in her eyes. "Ah! You must be Senju Kurisu! Seiken-san told me you would be coming. Please come in!" Kurisu was led into the house and would be surprised to see that it was much larger on inside than it originally seemed. He was led into the main living room, where a fresh pot of ginseng tea was waiting for him. "Please make yourself at home. I'll be right back." With that, the woman walked out the door, closing it behind her. Kurisu would find himself waiting... for 15 minutes. No one came.

Kurisu was careful to remember all of his team mates names and code names, he knew this team was one of specialties due to the need for hiding their names. His name stuck with stuck with him, from what he concluded from the code names he thought the names had reflected the others personalities seeing as his was focus he was glad his sensei had good thoughts towards him.

As he was welcomed to the into the strange home he knew something was off, the rooms atmosphere had something about it that wasnt right. After waiting for some time there, he stood up to survey the area, taking note of his surroundings. He then walked towards the door the old women and knocked on it three times, he then followed with it saying "Mam, is everything ok in there?" he then took a step back waiting for an answer, this house began to give him an eerie sensation about it.

[Yasashikaze Seiken]

Quite suddenly, Kurisu was assaulted from his flank... by a barrage of water balloons. If he turned to his right, he would find a pair of twins boys no older than 10, both with short red hair and brown eyes, wearing blue denim shorts with white t-shirts, black leather vests and blue sandals. Both of them also had rather mischevious smirks on their faces. The one on the left spoke first, the same smiles still plastered on their faces.

"Hey, Sanosuke. You think this is him?"

"I would say so, Tsukune. He's got a hitai-ate. See?"

"Heh. Good. Let's have some fun with him."

The two jumped up and out of sight, most likely preparing for another assault...

Kurisu, now soaked in water, turned to his right seeing the two twins. He listened to the two and happened to catch their names, he then laughed playfully and said out loud while the boys where standing before him. "So boys, we can do this the easy way... or the hard way" the boys with an evil smirk leaped out of sight of Kurisu and he smiled.Hehe at least i get to have some fun now.

Just then kurisu began to form a series of quick hand seals, as he held the final seal a series of wood planks began to form to the right of kurisu making an exact clone. As the clone was finally completely Kurisu laughed and looked over at the clone whispering to him "Transform into Sanosuke, ill take tsukune." Just then both of them began to form the hand seals in perfect unison, suddenly the planks of wood from the ground began to wrap the two up completely, and when they dispersed, two perfect clones of the two boys where there standing. Kurisu looked over at his clone and pointed to the location of where he thought the opposite of his clones appearance might be, the clone nodded and they fanned out.

~Moku Bunshin no Jutsu [Wood Clone Technique]

Moku Bunshin no Jutsu is a unique Ninjutsu technique used by the Senju clan.. Using his ability to utilize Mokuton (wood release) techniques, the clan member will form handseals and cause beams of wood to emerge from his body. This wood will morph and form a clone of the user, capable of utilizing all the same Mokuton techniques as the original.

Mokuton Henge is a unique Ninjutsu technique used by the Senju clan. Using his ability to utilize Mokuton (wood release) techniques, the clan member will form handseals and cause beams of wood to emerge from the ground. The beams will converge around his body to form the shape or individual he wishes to transform into. Unlike regular Henge which just transforms ones appearance, Mokuton Henge creates a physical material to hide ones appearance. This technique works best when the copied person is at least partially made out of wood.

Kurisu's use of the Mokuton to disguise himself was an excellent ploy and showed wit in battle. It showed that he would probably grow up to be a fine ninja.

It would have been even more impressive if it had actually worked.

Sadly, when the two boys had ascended to the higher ground, they had been smart enough to actually keep each other in line of sight. They also had tralied a long cord of tripwire and were waiting for Kurisu to ascend. Though the ploy shocked the two for a moment, they acted quickly and crossed by each other right behind Kurisu, attempting to bind him and his clone with the tripwire...

Kurisu was surprised the boys where so crafty in their movements, somehow they had gotten behind him with a trip wire. Luckily this kurisu had much training in the art of escape, just as the wire had completely wrapped the two kurisu absorbed his wood clone back to his body, leaving him plenty of space to jump out of harms way.

Kurisu jumped foward and turned around, as he landed he said to the two "Now boys didn't your parents teach you to play nice?" as his form reverted back to normal he smirked and performed three quick hand seals as two large trunks of wood came up from the floor,the wood with is chakra to wrap the two boys up in an attempt to hold them still.

The boys, despite their intelligence for ones so young, were unprepared for a Mokuton user and were quickly bound by the wooden planks. Needless to say, the smiles were gone from their faces; the twins were obviously perturbed that they had been beaten at their own game.

Sadly for Kurisu, he would have little time to savior his victory. Quite suddenly, from the doorway directly to his left, a girl of the same age as the boys with black hair, and fierce blue eyes with a simple white blouse, blue jeans, and black sandals, spun out from behind the door and landed a solid roundhouse kick on Kurisu's side, sending him flying off the balcony to the living room below, where he landed solidly on his back. Shortly afterwords, the sound of wood cracking could be heard from above as the girl was undoubtedly freeing the two boys from the wood traps.

Konoha Senpuu is a Taijutsu technique utilized by Rubi. Using her quickness and agility, the user charges at her target and spins his body to do a flying round house kick on those opponents within her range of attack.

Kurisu after being knocked on his back quickly rolled to stand again, he thought to himself damn now theres another one of those brats?. After quickly dusting himself off he stood up and walked into the door to see the boys where still held down, luckily the little girl was not strong enough, due to her age, to break the large trunk size wood holding the boys up in the air.

He looked over to the little girl as she struggled to tear the wood down, he then began to ask "Who are you.... And why did you kick me!!!" a face of anger was now plastered on his face as his patience was running thin with the child brigade.

The young girl looked at him with angry eyes. "We don't need a baby-sitter! We've taken care of ourselves before, and we don't need you! Just leave before-"

The young girl's tirade was interrupted by a small wrinkled fist bursting through the wall and striking the young girl smack dab on the right side of her face. The old woman from before walked out from the door way. Kurisu would notice that the young boys, still trapped by the wood, were shaking in fear at the old woman. As for the elderly patron, she smiled at Kurisu. "I do apologize for their behavior. The reason I asked Seiken-san for your assistance is because despite my best efforts, I haven't the capacity to serve as a role model for these children; I am far too old, and they and I cannot relate. This is where you come in. As you were undoubtedly told by your sensei, I need you to watch these children from 9 in the morning to 9 at night. Normally they would be at the academy; sadly, there seemed to have been a bit of an accident, so the school released their class so that the damage could be repaired." Kurisu would have seen headlines proving this to be true; there was a rather large fight in one of the classes and the students had just learned how to use exploding tags. The results were quite devastating, though they had managed to contain it to one classroom.

She turned to the children. "Now, Sanosuke, Tsukune, Ruby, I expect you all to be on your best behavior while I'm gone." With that, she walked over to the window that she had crawled in. Before she left, though she said this:

"Remember, Kurisu, that these children are very driven, and they respect focus. If you let yourself get distracted easily, then you will find that they are hard to control."

With that she was gone, leaving the young Senju with the three troublemakers.

Kurisu was left in almost in awe of all of this, the woman had come in and left almost in an instant. as the children where knocked around. Kurisu then looked at the children standing before him, their eyes filled with fear as the young girl rose up from being knocked down, he then said "So children, i'm going to let you down...but.. if you three act up again, i'm going to leave you high and dry from dusk to dawn understood?"
Just then he made a few hand seals as the wood unwrapped the two boys and reverting back into the ground.

He then stood in front of them watching their reactions as he then proceeded to say "So whats it gonna be?"

The two boys were very easily intimidated by the elderly woman. The young girl?

...Not so much.

Though she was reeling from the obviously painful blow to the side of her face, she rose up, her eyes still screaming defiance. She turned away and walked up the set of stairs at the end of the hallway, shouting back, "Just stay out of my way and we'll do just fine!"

The twins said nothing; instead they simply scurried off to the kitchen to fix themselves a snack... or were they? Though there were indeed sounds of plates clacking and microwaves buzzing, there was also some very unfamiliar noises, especially a odd, wet, squelching sound.

Kurisu dismissed the young girls comment and waited as the young boys went into the kitchen, after hearing some strange noises he thought it would be wise to investigate and make sure the two where not up to no good. Before passing through the door he remembered the craftiness of the two children and being blindsided before by the young girl. As he stood at the door he began to form a few hand seals, he thought to himself in order to prevent getting caught off guard again he prepared a defensive strategy by forming two wood clones, one to watch the door making sure no one would enter and catch him off guard with an order to use the wood technique to hold the young girl down in case she got out of hand, and one to back him up in case the children where planning an attack. As one of the clones stood watch making sure the young girl would not attack again the actual Kurisu and a wood clone entered the kitchen cautiously unsure of what the scheming children where up too.

~Moku Bunshin no Jutsu [Wood Clone Technique]

Moku Bunshin no Jutsu is a unique Ninjutsu technique used by the Senju clan.. Kurisu would find that that wet squelching noise was actually a gelatin desert that the two boys had prepared. It was green, it smelled sweet, and boy, did it jiggle. Despite his suspicions, the boys were, in fact, simply making a meal for themselves. However, one thing Kurisu would notice is the looks he recieved: malice and disrespect. And despite the fact that the kids didn't act up for the rest of the day, Kurisu would be sure of one thing:

The kids didn't think too highly of him right now.

The next day came, and Kurisu was greeted with a note:

Dear Kurisu,

When you enter the house, you will notice that there are quite a few cakes and pastries in the kitchen. I happen to run a bakery of sorts and I require your assistance. That order is for something rather special at the end of the week. As you can see there is an assortment of edible sugar decorations and sauces set out for you. Each one of them has a picture of what it should look like and instructions as to how to apply the said decorations. Don't worry; this project is not nearly as hard as it seems. Just remember: KEEP YOUR FOCUS.

Kurisu grabbed the note and quickly read through it, it had appeared that he had been assigned to make some pastry's for the old women. As he opened the door with his left hand he noticed the three children playing a board game on their floor as he walked in, he smiled to them and said "Hello children, how are you three doing today?" he then noticed all the supplies to the left of him as he thought to himself hmm those must be the ingredients the old lady left for me,

Kurisu knew he had a long week ahead of him so he quickly made some hand seals and two clones appeared out of the wood and started carrying the ingredients to the kitchen as kurisu was watching the children playing there game smiling at the bunch.

The children did in fact seem to be playing a game. However, Kurisu would find that "seem" was the operative word in that observation. In reality, they were up to something quite different.

The game play was a ploy to cover some rather hair-brained antics. One of the boys had managed to procure a slingshot and a healthy supply of tiny poppers (those little fireworks that go "bang" once they hit something hard enough; it's nothing lethal or even painful, it's really just a distraction). A good fifteen minutes into his work, Kurisu would be interrupted by a very loud popping sound coming from the back of his head. If he were to turn around, however, he would see nothing out of the norm...

Should he turn around to check his surroundings and then try to return to his duties of finishing the pastries, he would find that one of the bowls of decorations would have vanished, gone from sight.

Kurisu stayed focused at the task at hand, being that he had made two clones already he signaled one of them to deal with the children as the other began to form some hand seals, making some spikes from the floor come up blockading the door. Should one of the children get passed the wood clone they would sure be ensnared easily by the wood spikes being manipulated by the clone.

Kurisu was getting to work while this was happening, baking things at an incredible speed and focus in order to finish in time for the day.

[Yasashikaze Seiken]

Kurisu would be surprised by the fact that not only were the three children still in the first room, but that the three apparently had another accomplice. A small blonde boy with green eyes was ensnared in the wooden spikes, sporting long beige khakis, a white t-shirt and some sandals. He wriggled to free himself, to no avail.

The twins did their best to feign surprise, knowing very well that they would fail. The young girl, however, simply continued what she was doing, setting down some cards before turning to her waist pack to sort some shuriken.

The blonde boy still squirmed, and eventually called to the twins, obviously irritated with his unexpected failure. "Hey, you guys! You told me he'd be distracted!"

Tsukune shrugged his shoulders, giving a rather passive and dismissive look. "Hey, it's not our fault your not fast enough, Tsubasa-san. Besides, you should have noticed the two clones."

This exchange continued for quite some time as Ruby shot a somewhat venomous glance at Kurisu. She was up to something... that was for sure.

As the small child was ensnared in the wood, two remained in front of the door behind the two clones, one of them began to form some seals and three more wood spikes came up from the ground, Kurisu didn't have time to be messing around today he needed to get the work done. It was imperative he did well on his first mission in the leaf, he needed to prove he was worthy to be on this team he was assigned too.

Quickly before the children could react the furthest out clone launched his three spikes in an attempt to grab the tree children and hold them down, while the other two spikes controlled by the other clone was waiting to see there reaction so they could react so he could ensnare them if they where to dodge the initial move.

Kurisu was getting his work done rather quickly, being as he was smarter then your average genin he was able pick up this baking thing rather quickly, it allowed him to move at an incredible pace as the clones dealt with the children.

Kurisu would find that the first two boys were easily read and captured. The girl would not be so easily detained.

Despite her strength, Ruby was still rather flexible, and though he wouldn't know this, she was the best taijutsu student in the academy, hands down. It's this flexibility that made her such a powerful practitioner of Gouken Ryu. She easily dodged his wood spikes that attempted to bind her. Unlike the boys, however, even while dodging, she simply paid attention to sorting her shuriken. The attention she paid to her work was impressive. After a good three minutes of dodging, Kurisu would find that this girl couldn't be bound (not with his skill anyways). And for all that time, she never took her eyes off of her shuriken. With that, she closed her pack, then snapped her eyes open and stared at Kurisu.

Nothing was said in this frame of five seconds, but Kurisu could tell what she was saying. She took a quick look at his clones and then returned her eyes to his. Then, with a disdainful sigh, she walked along the wall and went to her room, slamming the door behind her.

What Kurisu "heard" her say was this: 'So long as you can't focus on your own and you use these stupid clones, you will never gain my respect.'

Kurisu sighed as he heard the young girl say this and thought to himself well if that's the way she wants to do this. Kurisu then formed some seals as one final clone formed out besides him, his order was to finished the cooking as he signaled one of the other clones to help out the new clone.

Kurisu then exited the kitchen dusting himself off, he signaled to the one clone to hold the other children in place. "I'll take care of the girl myself" he then stood in front of her door and knocked three times "Rubi, im here like you wanted, no tricks this time"

The door would remain unopened. Instead, a fierce bark would emerge from behind it. "Go away! You're interrupting my training!"

Kurisu would find no parlay here. Her terms had been set: either ditch the clones or he would lose all hope of garnering Ruby's respect or cooperation.

As he descended the stairs, he would find that the boys were no longer rowdy. The blond one had skipped town and the other two were simply watching. At the very least, Kurisu could tell that he had garnered some respect from the twins... Either that, or they were planning something to screw him up bigtime. Either way, they weren't gonna bother him now. The second day concluded without any other disturbances.

This didn't mean that things were going to get easier. Kurisu would learn this when arriving the third day, he found an even larger order than yesterday to fill in two thirds of the time. And he would still be greeted by Rubi's complete and utter disdain for his use of clones to make his life easier. Not only this, but there was still no guarantee that the boys would remain entirely lucid either.

Ah, the tribulations of a genin... sometimes they were as numerous as grains of sand.
