Ekitai was walking down the streets of Konoha, bored out of his mind, hoping that someone would bump into him and offer some sort of interesting conversation or activity.

[Jeviherei]

"NEYA!" A short yelp, more of a scream, came from above the shinobi in a slightly dangerous way. Dangerous as its location was directly above the shinobi. "WAHHHH!" The scream continued to disturb the air as the shadow of whatever was falling got larger and larger around the shinobi.

Makoto had tried to rescue a cat. That she did. Until a loose patch on the roof caused her to slip from two stories height. She could always flip over and land smoothly, however the clinging fur ball thing wouldn't allow her to have it her way. The frightened cat bit her arm, causing her to wince and loose her chance for balance. Which explained why this acrobatic taijutsu user was falling to the ground in a rather unsightly fashion.

She could use her wires to grab a hold of a balcony, however the furry thing was squirming and thus she had to hold it with both arms. Now, she just hoped that she wouldn't break anything. She was completely oblivious to the shinobi below as she was staring up at the sky while holding tightly to the cat. Makoto almost looked as if she was.

Ekitai heard a rather loud scream, and stopped mid stride, one foot forward, one back, to look around. He did not, however, think to look up, and the falling woman landed on the leg he had back, causing him to take a rather awkward fall. He didn't immediately get up, or even roll over. He just lay there, face in the pavement, trying to figure out what exactly just happened. His voice was muffled by the ground that his mouth was smashed up against, but he figured he'd give it a shot anyways. "What the hell?"

He then rolled over and sat up, to see a woman that appeared to be about his age, clutching to a cat that wanted nothing to do with any of this. "Er...you alright? Where the hell did you just come from?"

She had braced for the pain and had relaxed her body to minimize the damage, however the landing was rather soft. Curiously soft. Makoto opened her closed eyes and looked down at whatever she landed on. Whatever she landed on had happened to have been a human being. She yelped and stood up quickly. The cat was just licking on the kunoichi's arm now as if seem to be rather at home in her arms.

"I am so sorry!" Makoto yelped once more as she looked just about to cry. Tears welled up in her odd colored eyes, blue in one and red in another, as she looked down apologetically. Makoto was panicking lightly, it wasn't everyday in which one landed on another human being after all. "I was just trying to get the cat and I slipped and fell." She had a rather childish voice that seemed rather innocent in its tone.

Makoto would have offered her hand, however the cat was clinging tightly to it, refusing to go away from her. It was of complete opposite from before in which the cat had tried to escape her several times and had left her with bleeding arm. Bleeding arm in which she just noticed. With a light pout in her expression, she raised the wounded arm, it was her right arm as her left arm was covered in rough cloth which prevented damage, and licked the blood away. She winced lightly at the taste of it and made a face.

Ekitai stood up slowly, testing the strength of the leg that the woman had landed on. It was a bit sore, but she hadn't dealt him any serious damage. "Nah, don't worry about it. You seem to be way worse off than I am. That cat really did a number on you, eh?" Ekitai made a face at her when she licked the blood off of her arm. "Um...that's probably not the healthiest thing in the world, your mouth is riddled with germs...that'll cause infection."

[Jeviherei]

Wrong thing to say to Makoto at this moment. She seemed as if she was both pouting and slightly scared at the same time. Also offended. Somehow. "I'll live." She replied in the childish voice. There was a hint of stubbornness in her tone. The cat mewled along with her as if supporting her statement.

"Anyways," Makoto quickly changed the subject. "What's your name?" She tilted her head slightly with a yet another childish grin. "My name is Makoto, Koujaku, Makoto." She was cheerful once more as she spoke. She then wrenched her arm away from the protesting cat and took out two random lollipops from her bag. "Want one?" She offered, one was with lemon yellow wax paper and the other was pink, effectively expressing that one was lemon while the other was strawberry.

"Um, sure, I guess. Thanks!" He reached for the lemon sucker. "And my name is Ruisan Ekitai, you may have heard of me. I'm one of the last remaining members of the Ruisan clan, pupil to our Hokage, ping-pong master extraordinaire." Ekitai was making it a point to add a joking air to his bragging; There was a pretty good chance that she'd heard about him, but he didn't want to seem arrogant, and figured faux bragging would be a good ice breaker. Then again, he never really was good at making friends. He sort of picked that up from Tousha.

Makoto tilted her head to the right, then to the left. She then tilted her head to the right once more and then to the left as she thought about it. "Nope!" She grinned in reply. She never had heard of the man and to her, it didn't really seem to matter much. "Anyways, I wonder if I should pity the Baka-kag... errr, Hokage-sama or you?" She tilted her head once more.

She then bent down and released the cat who seemed to be clinging onto her arms now. She gently pried the cat out of her grasp and then straightened up, stretching her arms while she was at it. A rather sharp pain, it caused her to flinch lightly, reminded her of the injured arm. "Ne, but for now, I pity myself." She made a rather childish face, it was kind of cute, at the shinobi before sighing. "Jah-na, don't mind me not knowing your name," She went back on the topic and smiled lightly, "I tend not to remember people's faces and names unless I have to or need to." Her laugh was light and rather infecting.

Ekitai was obviously unphased by this, and even laughed along with her; He wasn't a vain person, just bad at introductions. "Nah, don't worry about it. But...um, you should...probably get that bandaged up. It looks sort of nasty." Ekitai found the girl to be rather attractive, but a bit child-like for his tastes. Not to mention the fact that he was far too socially awkward to make a pass at the girl anyways.

[Jeviherei]

She looked over at her wound and then shrugged. "It's scabbing over, I won't die from it." She smiled once more. "Unless I get burned all over again... I probably won't die." There was a light dark pessimistic aura about her as she mumbled the words. Ah, she could still remember it. That wasted amazing genjutsu... Wasted, yes, definitely wasted. She sighed and for several seconds she seemed older and quite mature.

"Hmm, I want ramen." Makoto tilted her head as she seemed to be thinking. "I dunno why, but I want ramen." She proclaimed. Meanwhile she did take out a roll of bandages and simply wrapped it around her arm before tying the end with a simple bow. It seemed that it happened to her often enough as her movement was rather swift in doing such with one hand. "Hmm.. I wonder why I want ramen." She seemed to be seriously pondering this as she tiled her head once more.
