Gotta Get Dat Dirt Off Your Boxes

Ekitai had just finished packing away all of his ping pong stuff, when he found an old, dusty wooden box in the back of that closet. He only vaguely remembered the box; It was something of his father's that he had inherited after the Ichibi incident. "I completely forgot about this thing.."

The blue-haired lad grabbed the box (treasure chest, really), and dragged it out of the closet by one of the steel rings on the side. Once he had it out of the closet, he quickly remembered why he had never opened the chest; There was a large, steel lock that was holding it together.

"Well, fuck."

Ekitai looked around the room for something that might help him get the lock open, but to no avail; There usually wasn't much need for him to have bolt cutters at the ready.

He did, however, have an icepick on his belt, which was worth a shot. He pulled it off, slid the point into the lock, and jiggled it around in an amateur attempt at picking it. Which, as you should have expected-

TOTALLY FUCKING WORKED.

The lock popped open, much to Ekitai's surprise. He pulled the lock off, tossed it aside, and opened the chest.

There really wasn't all that much inside. It was mostly clothes and various personal keepsakes of his father's, personal stuff that Ekitai didn't fully understand the sentimental value of. He pulled all of this stuff out; Shirts, pants, letters, photographs, and set them aside.

In the bottom of the chest, was what appeared to be a small box wrapped in cloth. He pulled it out and unwrapped it carefully, revealing a small, ornate wooden chest. This smaller one vaguely resembled the larger one that it had been placed inside of, sans lock. He lifted the lid to find one of the most gorgeous items he'd ever laid eyes upon.

It was an ornate pistol, with the stock carved out of wood and wrought in steel. The cylinder was made of copper tubing, and there was a meter of sorts mounted at the back of the gun. As far as Ekitai could tell, it was completely nonfunctional; Which meant it had probably been a launcher that his father had used at some point, or that he had inherited from another clan member.

Good timing, too, considering Lux had just packed away the launcher he had been using previously.

And this thing was BA.
