*Nokeru Chouin: Ressa (Remove Sealing: Lesser)
C-ranked Fuuinjutsu
This technique is able to remove any normal seal within the Shinobi's ability to remove a seal, up until D Rank Fuuin. This jutsu quickly removes any trace of a Seal, and is used by the Shinobi focusing one hand into a hand sign, and their other hand placed open-palmed over the seal. It requires an intense degree of focus and chakra control, which is why it is not advised to use in the heat of battle.
What are you doing now? Twilight asked Tousha as if the kami was speaking to a little kid who was rolling in the mud.

The Hokage turned around and said, ”Did you know that you can actually remove fuuinjutsu? I read up a little on kanji in general in my office, and I came across this method for negating them. I thought I’d try it out.”

Twilight crossed her arms and said, That actually… makes sense. Are you feeling alright?

”Yeah, yeah. I’m fine. Just trying to concentrate…”

One of Tousha's scarred hands hovered over a small seal that he'd drawn up himself on a plain white piece of paper. Even though the seal was pretty basic as far as kanji went, Tousha was having a hell of a time removing it. After so many years of working with fuuinjutsu you'd think he'd get the hang of destroying them pretty quickly. But the Hokage's mind didn't work like that apparently.

As his chakra flowed over the paper he first tried to scrape the seal away completely, but his efforts had little to no affect on the kanji. It was like trying to remove paint with a pencil eraser; it just wasn't going to happen.

Then the kage tried to somehow counter the kanji's affects with his own chakra, thinking that if he could disrupt the seal's flow of chakra then it would be rendered useless. But the kage realized that this method would only work on a seal that he was familiar with. If he didn't know what the kanji did in the first place or how it was created he'd be screwed. So he quickly gave up on that idea and moved on.

By this time Twilight was leaning over the paper as well. Unable to hide its curiosity anymore, the kami was trying to come up with an idea itself. What if you just create some sort of field around the seal? That could stop the affects.

Tousha shook his head and bit at his thumb. "That would take too long to prepare, and it would only be a temporary fix. See, all kanji seals are different. They're all unique in some small way, like a person's fingerprints. It'd be easy to find a way to remove one specific type, but that method probably wouldn't work on a more intricate seal. Wait..."

What?

"That's it. I just need to use the same level of chakra that was used to create the seal in the first place."

Twilight tilted its head slightly and asked, But how can you tell how much chakra was used during its creation?

Tousha lifted up a finger and tapped his head as he answered. "An expert on fuuinjutsu can tell how powerful a kanji is based on its intricacy and affect. For example, the kanji I use to create my razor birds is far more simple than say, this." The Hokage pulled down his shirt and showed Twilight the kanji seal for "fade" etched into his chest.

After his short but to the point explanation, Tousha turned back towards the piece of paper laying in front of him. "Now this seal is very simple. A D-class jutsu at best, so if I used a counter sealing technique with about the same level of chakra... and there we are."

As Tousha released a dose of chakra into the ink creating the seal his own technique broke apart the kanji scribed onto the paper, rendering it useless and removing it from sight all at once.

"The trick isn't finding out what the seal does, exactly," Tousha said to himself, his bright green eyes full of excitement because of his new discovery. "It's about finding out the level of chakra used to create it. How interesting."

But what if you run into a more powerful seal? That lower class technique of yours wouldn't be able to remove it.

Tousha grinned up at the kami and said, "Then it looks like I've got some more work to do."

*Nokeru Chouin: Taibu (Remove Sealing: Greater)
B-ranked Fuuinjutsu
Prerequisites: *Nokeru Chouin: Ressa (Remove Sealing: Lesser)
This technique is able to remove any normal seal within the Shinobi's ability to remove a seal, up until C Rank Fuuin. This jutsu quickly removes any trace of a Seal, and is used by the Shinobi focusing one hand into a hand sign, and their other hand placed open-palmed over the seal. It requires an intense degree of focus and chakra control, which is why it is not advised to use in the heat of battle.
"Now for something a little bit trickier," Tousha muttered under his breath as he dipped a simple brush into a vial of black ink and began scribing a new kanji onto a blank piece of paper. In a matter of moments the Hokage drew a more intricate and powerful seal than the last one he'd sketched. This kanji was of his own creation; the "magnet" seal that attracted raiton chakra like a magnet. Hence the name.

Once he completed the seal, Tousha put down his brush and completed a single hand seal with his left hand while his right hovered just over the paper on which the kanji was drawn on. The kage closed his eyes in concentration while his chakra seeped into the ink that acted as his seal's medium. It took a couple minutes of finding the right amount of chakra to imbue the seal with, but finally the ink disappeared from the piece of paper without incident.

Like you said, it's all fine and dandy if you know what class of technique the seal is to begin with," Twilight interjected before Tousha could even do a Tiger Woods arm pump in victory. But what if you haven't ever seen the seal before? It could take you several minutes to find out hat class of technique it is, and even longer to remove it. You think your opponent's just going to sit around while you try to ruin his plan?

Tousha turned to the kami with a single black brow arched across his forehead and said, "Why is it that I'm always fighting a dude in your little scenarios? Eh? Maybe I'd like a change of pace every now and then."

I think you're missing the point.

"Whatever. I'm not the sexist one here."

Moving on, do you want my help or not?

"Yes. Teach me oh great Swami."

Let me pick out a kanji that you are probably unfamiliar with. That way you can try to remove it without knowing what it does or what class of technique it is. Twilight explained as it opened a large book filled from cover to cover with different seals and their affects. A majority of the seals in the book weren't meant to be used in combat, but were instead used for ordinary tasks by people who lived several generations before Tousha was even born. Back then kanji magic was considered to be gifts from their various gods in order for them to live an easier life.

Nowadays they were just good for shooting lightning at people.

After finding the kanji seal it was looking for, the kami picked up Tousha's brush and began scribing the seal onto another plain white piece of paper. The kage's bright green eyes payed close attention to Twilight's brush strokes as the kanji began to take shape. He could tell that the seal itself had to do with water because of the calming, sloping outline that would ultimately encase the more intricate strokes at its center. But other than that Tousha didn't understand what the rest of the seal represented.

There, try removing that. Twilight said with a smirk as it slid the paper across the table towards him. Tousha didn't waste any time in completing the single hand seal required for the removal technique and placing his open palm over Twilight's seal.

As the Hokage's chakra poured over the paper he was surprised to find that as he made contact with the seal it activated on its own accord. Suddenly the kage's hand began rapidly heating up, as if he was sticking it into an open oven. He winced in pain as he tried to remove the seal, but found that the pain was too distracting. With a jerking motion the kage pulled back his hand and began waving it around in the air in a desperate attempt to cool it down.

"What the hell?! You're supposed to be helping me, not burning my hand off!" Tousha said angrily.

There may be times in the future when removing a seal is painful to the person trying to render it useless. This seal, for example, rapidly heats up any nearby source of water if it is touched. A handy tool for keeping people away from valuables or anything of that sort. In other words, the moment your chakra comes into contact with it the water in your hand will start to rapidly increase in temperature.

Even though Tousha was in no way amused by Twilight's training method, he held his tongue and glared at the piece of paper laying innocently in front of him. The kage rolled up his sleeves and set his jaw in concentration. His mind rapidly processed the appearance of the seal and the overall effect that resulted upon its activation in the hopes of figuring out what class of seal it was.

Without another word the kage stuck his hand out across the table and completed the single handed seal required to perform the technique. As his chakra flooded into the seal the kanji immediately began heating up the water within his scarred hand. Even though the pain was intense, Tousha managed to hold his concentration and discover what does of chakra he'd need to remove the seal. He let out a sigh of relief when the pain in his hand faded away, just as the ink used to create Twilight's seal disappeared from sight.

"Hah!" Tousha exclaimed triumphantly. "That wasn't so tough. This is way easier than I thought."

Twilight let out a chiming chuckle and said, If you're so confident, how about you take this training to the next level?

Tousha nodded and stood up from his chair before saying, "I'm ready whenever you are."
