Another...Team...Meeting...

The sky over konoha was now gray and overcast, a light drizzle of rain turning on and off as it pleased. Unlike most days, there were not that many people filling the streets as many remained inside, deciding not to got out in the poor conditions. The weather however did have one nasty effect: the air all around the village was humid.

As he had promised the genin the night before, Koji was seated once again on the exact same branch of the exact same tree they had found him in before. to anyone else, the weather would seem to be awful for training but to Koji this weather was perfectly fine. Maybe not the best, but certainly not the worst. After all, a little rain never hurt anybody right? His attire consisted of a simple black t-shirt and a dark tan pair of shorts to accommodate for the humid weather. He had already planned out most of the training that they were going to do together.

His mood on the other hand, was not a completely happy one. In his hands was a note on Hokage office stationary, informing him of a last minute team change. Instead of the crazy genin girl that he had met the night before, they were gaining a Sp. Jounin, a rank that wasn't commonly put on lower ranked teams. Guess i won't be the 'leader' anymore... Koji thought to himself. As he read the note, the rain literally began to cause the paper to dampen and begin to sort of melt.

Having looked forward to the training session, Katashi marched off to the meeting site. It was the same location from the night before, easy to remember. Though the weather didn't seem to be the best, it didn't stop this eager genin. He was wearing his usual attire and didn't seem to mind if it rained, a little that was.

"Oi!" He shouted upon arriving and spotting Koji, sitting in the same spot as the other night. "Heya Koji-sensei!" He greeted upon stopping below the tree. It seemed like their other teammate would be the last to arrive which made Katashi wonder. Something that caught his attention even more was the letter Koji was holding in his hands, which was slowly crumbling away from the rain drops falling on it.

"Something up?" He asked as he noted something was off.

It was a rainy and very gloomy day not one that many would want to be out in or would enjoy it at all. Everything was wet and it was very humid out which made it even more of bad day there were next to no animals out as they were all taking shelter from the weather. The only thing you could hear was the drain dripping down falling everywhere and of course... Dran.

"WOOOOO I FEEL GOOD! The rain is falling down my head! WOOT WOOT I love to Dance in the RAIIIIN!" Dran screamed as he walked through the village his voice echoing out threw out the town. It seemed the weather hadn't effect his personality at all and he was actually jamming out although there was no real music to be heard.

Dran danced his way down the street only stopping to take a swig of Sake out of his Sake gourd. Dran had to find a Genin and a Chuunin and go on a mission with them although he had no clue what it was about and that these people were but he didn't really worry with or without a team Dran was confident in himself. Dran saw what looked like a Genin with a Chunin who was on a tree branch. "The rain is soothing my hair it’s going down it like I'm the shower! But I... I got the power of the muuuusic!!!" Dran said as he danced his way over causally like it was an everyday thing.

"So you the guys I'm supposed to meet?" Dran said still tapping his foot to the beat of his song in his head.

Koji was so lost in his thoughts that he hadn't even noticed that Katashi had appeared. If the boy hadn't even said anything he probably could have stood there unnoticed for quite awhile. "Well Katashi," he began, pausing for a moment, "It seems Yosei isn't going to be joining us after all. She has been reassigned. We've been given a new partner, a Sp. Jounin of some sort."

Before the conversation could get any further than that, a seemingly young man had approached them only, something seemed to be really off about him. To Koji, the man could hardly keep his balance and he didn't seem to be...'all there'. Great, that's all we need. A drunk. he thought to himself. "Well, to be honest, i'm not sure who you are looking for exactly, nor do I know who you are, so we may or may not be the people you are looking for." Koji said to him a little harshly, "Are you a Sp. Jounin looking for a team?"

Dran stared for a moment at his fellow shinobi who looked as if he was probably around the same age as Dran. Although his mood was very different from Dran's current it was obvious that he was not happy at all about something although Dran couldn't pin point what. Jeez, this guy is a bit of a downer. Dran thought to himself still staring at him.

Dran then proceeded to chug down his Sake gourd the sake ran down the sides of his cheeks all the way down to his shirt. Dran then stopped drinking and stared again guy in the black shirt and let out a loud burp. "Excuse me, that was a loud one ha! Anyway forgive me for my rudeness. My name is Dran Sumisu and yes I am that Special Jounin I was told to meet up with Chuunin and Genin. I take it you are those those people?" Dran said cheerfully with a smile. Dran then offered his Sake gourd to the Shinobi in the black shirt "Here feel free to have some! I have plenty!" Dran said as he began jiggling the gourd trying to tempt him to take a sip at least.

It was apparent that this guy was in a bad mood so he decided to try to be as nice as possible and hopefully even cheer the guy up.

"Reassigned..." Though he didn't really get along with the female genin, it bothered him a bit that the team was split before they got to know each other better. Perhaps it was for the best this way. So a Sp. Jounin was to join them, that meant Koji was outranked. Was that he was so gloomy? With the arrival of their new teammate, Katashi could see a hint as to why.

"....."

The guy came in chugging down a bottle of sake and burping. This was their new teammate? The Sp. Jounin? The Hyuuga boy wasn't sure what to make of him just yet, but so far he hadn't impressed much. Regardless, this was the new team. They would have to work together, he just hoped that he was at least fitting for the rank he was.

"Hyuuga, Katashi," The young boy introduced himself as nicely as he could. The tension from Koji was already enough and while Dran was drinking away, he was trying to maintain some peace and order, which Katashi obliged to. "I'm the genin in the group."

Koji looked at the man again. The man may be a drunk, he thought to himself, but at least he is trying to be nice. "No thanks," Koji said to the man holding the sake gourd to him, "I'm not really the type who drinks. Anyways, I'm Rokami Koji, the chuunin of the group."

There was a seemingly awkward silence among the group. "Well, what should we do now? I had planned to do some training with my two genin, but since one is gone what should we do? Getting out of the rain would probably be a good idea. Any suggestions?"

(So dran, i'm not sure if arion told you but we have a mission going located here.)

"Its a pleasure to meet you both. I also have a great idea to show this how about we go out and get some grub my treat! So you guys have any place in mind where you'd like to eat." Dran said eagerly as he was starving. He hadn't eaten all day all he had done was drink which always makes him very hungry.

"I could go for some ribs, or hmmm even better some steak! Oh, I'm so hungry I could eat anything!" Dran said out loud to himself. He didn't care if anyone was listening or not he was to hungry to care at all.

Katashi watched the exchange between the two as Koji tried to be nice in response. At least things weren't going to escalate, not right away like with him and their previous teammate. At the mention of food though, Katashi realized that he had yet to eat. The excitement over the team meeting had him too anxious to eat and so he skipped lunch. With the offer out on the table, the genin was surely going to take it.

"Sounds like a good idea," He spoke up with a nod, "Either is fine with me... let's go to whichever is closer."

(OOC: Wow, sorry guys, personal stuff sucks.)

Koji took the ideas into consideration. He was hungry, and some food may just put him into a more friendly mood. "Alright, food it is. There is a steak shop down the street."

He lead the way to the shop which was less than five minutes from their spot. It was a small place, but the smell coming from inside was very attracting. It wasn't hard for them to get a table and soon a waitress was at the table read for their order. "Lets get some steak and a pitcher of water. Anything else guys?"

Dran's mouth dripped with his own spit as he smelt food coming fresh from being cooked. He was starving and his stomach couldn't wait as it loudly groaned constantly. Dran attempted to drink more Sake it calm it down but it only seem to make his stomach angry as it groaned louder.

"I'd actually like some ribs! That would be great right now and maybe some fried rice to go along with it." Dran said impatiently. In an effort to stop from being hungry Dran drank more and more of his sake and since he had nothing in his stomach to soak it in he got drunker by each sip.

"MAN THIS FOOD IS GOING TO BE SO GOOD! I CAN'T FUCKING WAIT! I'M GOING TO DIE IF I DON'T GET IT" Dran said very loudly forgetting his was in a public place with children around.

The Hyuuga boy eyed the new member as he kept drinking away. It seemed as if he were drinking more and more by the second. He was also getting a bit more obnoxious as he spewed out words carelessly without thinking of those around him.

"Don't you want to have room for the food?" He asked, his way of trying to get him to stop drinking.

The outburst of his colleague filled Koji with an strong urge to slam his head down on the table out of both embarrassment and annoyance. However he instead just put his hand on his forehead and covered his eyes.

"Well the way you're drinking, you'll be dead before the food even gets here." Koji replied to Dran. It wasn't long after that that the food arrived at the table. Rather than grabbing at the food right away, Koji simply grabbed his cup of water and took a sip from it, trying to calm himself. As a matter of fact, he was no longer hungry. Today was just not turning out to be a good day for him.

"I will have plenty of room for the food Katashi don't you worry" Dran said as he went on drinking. He was very impatient for his food but he could wait as long as the food was great.

"Well the way you're drinking, you'll be dead before the food even gets here." Koji said to Dran. Dran smiled with a big grin while directly looking at Koji "You don't know me very well then or my history do you Koji! Maybe we should do a sparing exercise after this that we we can learn to work together better and aid each others skills. This way you can learn more about me." Dran said still smiling and even gave him a thumbs up. As soon as Dran had finished giving him thumbs up to Koji the food had arrived.

"Itadakimasu!" Dran shouted as he began digging into the ribs he ordered getting a his fingers quickly dirty from handling the food with his hands. Dran had a whole rack of ribs and quickly was threw 1/4 of the ribs within a minute of it being placed on the table. He was a very fast eater but it also could of been due to the fact that he hadn't eat all day. Either way it was obvious that Dran was enjoying his meal and was almost dead to the world.

Katashi shook his head slightly. His plan didn't work and things got only a bit more out of hand. Now, Dran, had pretty much challenged Koji to a spar. With the arrival of the food, the Hyuuga genin decided to let the whole thing go by and eat away. He too was hungry, but wasn't mowing down his food like Dran was. He just wasn't a fast eater. No, he took his time, and savored his food.

(OOC: Im going to be honest, I kinda lost interest in this thread and it is because of this that I haven't really been posting in it. As such, I am writing my character out of it so that you guys can either keep posting in it regularly without having to wait for me or you too can end it.)

Koji continued to sip his drink as his teammate began to litterally engulf every bit of food on the table. "As a matter of fact I do not know much about you." Koji began, "I'd be happy to-"

"Rokami Koji?" asked a seemingly tall man. He had interrupted Koji in the middle of his sentence to Dran.

"That would be me." Koji snapped. He didn't appreciate being interruped especially by people that he didn't know.

"Your presence is requested at the Hokage Tower. Something about paperwork on a former genin of yours."

Koji became increasingly annoyed with every word that the man spoke. He didn't hate the man, he simply was annoyed by the fact that just as he was starting to relax, he was being gathered to go do something else. "Must I really do this now?" Koji asked the messenger. The man simply gave Koji a nod. "Dammit. Fine I guess I can go do this" Koj said as he slowly stood up. He dug into his pocket and pulled put a small amount of money, placing it on the table. "This should cover most of the bill. Sorry guys. Maybe we can resume this later."

With his goodbyes said, Koji took off with the messanger towards the hokage tower.

Just when it appeared as Koji would accept to spar with Dran, a tall man approached them to the table. It appeared as Koji was needed for paperwork at the Hokage Tower. It sounded pretty boring to Katashi and yet seemed to be important since the man insisted he go. Paying for the meal, the chunin dismissed himself and left, leaving the Hyuuga genin with the drunk newcomer.

"So..." The boy was stuck. What was he supposed to do or say, the man had been drinking since they first met and ducking out would be kind of wrong since Koji had just left. However, if the man was too drunk, Katashi would slip on out as well.
