A Stroll through Konoha

Kizashi's chakra filled palm flew forward, only to be knocked aside easily by a man about three inches taller than him. The man then retaliated by throwing his own palm forward, straight for Kizashi's chest. The palm was pushed aside easily, towards Kizashi's left by his right hand. Kizashi then sidestepped as the man pushed his free hand forward, aiming to hit Kizashi's right arm. Upon sidestepping, Kizashi then aimed two fingers of his left hand towards the man's outstretched arm. The two fingers hit the man's arm, but there didn't seem to be any visible wounds from the attack. The man stared in shock and retracted his arm. "Good good. You are getting better Kizashi." The man, who was Kizashi's father said.

Kitashi's Byakugan then faded from his eyes, returning them to their normal featureless state and then bowed to Kizashi. Kizashi did the same, thanking his father as he did. This was their normal daily training, and Kizashi was finally able to strike his father. His father usually always blocked his attacks and saw through them so easily. Their training was over for today. Kitashi wiped his forehead and then moved his hands together so that his long sleeves joined one another, leaving his hands no longer visible to Kizashi. He bowed again and then walked out from the training dojo in which they had been training in.

Kizashi deactivated his Byakugan as well and looked around. He needed to do something, and there was nothing else to do except explore Konoha. He was a newly made Genin, and so he still had to meet some of the other shinobi. He quickly walked over the the wall of the dojo, painted a light green color, the color of grass, and picked up his clothes. He quickly slipped them on with no one around to look at him, and then put on his Konoha headband, tying it behind his head to make sure it fit securely. He then turned towards the screen door of the dojo which led to the outside and pushed it aside. "Well then, let's see what awaits me in Konoha." he said as he jumped down along the stairs that were attached to the dojo. He quickly ran out from behind the Hyuuga mansion, where the dojo was located, and headed into the center of Konoha. Upon reaching Konoha's center, he gaped at the large amount of people bustling around near the shops and other places. He stopped running and began walking, deciding that he had enough time to look around the place.

Konoha was buzzing with a vast amount of citizens wandering throughout the village, on a particular day like this Hakuro had only one thing on his mind; making an easy buck. Shop clerks were an easy target for him, he knew the amount of pressure they got with the large variety of customers coming in and out of their shacks, they rarely had anyone willing to do the minor things such as delivering, security or cleaning, which gave him the opportunity to fill those positions.

Hakuro clutched both his hands together on the back of his neck as he aimlessly walked down the sidewalk, he looked from left to right seeking out someone in need of his assistance. He was a fresh Genin in the village, so finding jobs to do was much easier for him than they were for other children his age, though he didn't take it for granted; Hashiro did these jobs not only for the money, but because he knew it was making another villager happy, and as a Hidden Leaf Shinobi, that was one of the most important thing for him to do.

"Hehehe, what job should I do today?? Hmmm. . . Maybe I should try helping Mr.Suzuki with the dishes again? Nahh, I'm a genin now so I need to do something much more important than that, but what? Ouch!! What the heck?!!" Hakuro tumbled to the floor, he was so caught up in what he wanted to do, that he didn't realize he had ventured off into his own little world, bumping into someone at the corner of a large hotel.

Kizashi walked along the streets of Konoha, marveling at the merchandise shops and the different food places around. He even saw a Ramen shop, but he decided to eat there later. His eyes scanned the people that passed him. Everyone looked so happy. Konoha was a closeknit place. He had learned this from living all of his life in Konoha. The Will of Fire brought people closer to one another, made them more of a family. Konoha could have been considered one big family, and all of the different clans within it were just cousins. Kizashi trailed off in his thoughts as he walked, until he bumped into someone.

He fell backwards as the figure in front of him tumbled forward. Not till he fell to the floor did he notice that the person he had bumped into was a shinobi like him. He looked them up and down as he stood up, noticing the Konoha forehead protector and kunai holster. He had never seen this shinobi in his Academy classes. "Sorry. I wasn't paying attention. I'm Hyuuga Kizashi. I just graduated from the academy, and I'm a genin." Kizashi said, introducing himself as he leaned forward slightly, offering his right hand to help the shinobi stand up. "What's your name?"Kizashi asked the mysterious shinobi.

[Hakuro]

Kizashi helped Hakuro safely back to his feet, he stared at the boy's forehead protecter and right away knew Kizashi was a shinobi. A smile came upon Hakuro's face, he was so glad to bump into another fellow ninja, especially since he seemed to be a genin " Don't worry about it, I'm not 100% innocent either.The name's Hakuro, nice to meet you Kizashi." Hakuro thought there was something different about this boy, but he wasn't too sure what it was. Hakuro took a few seconds to brush off his clothing, then raised his head and caught the boy's gaze " I knew it ! your a Hyuuga. I thought there was something different about you, the short hair threw me off I guess. . Mann that's so cool! Your not too busy are you? How about you accompany me for a bit, there's a lot I'd like to talk to you about, especially since were going to be working together as fellow Shinobi, maybe even on the same squad."

Kizashi shifted his hands into his pockets after helping the shinobi up. He introduced himself to Kizashi as Hakuro. Kizashi didn't get the shinobi's rank, but he guessed that it must be genin. He could just activate his Byakugan and see his chakra network to ascertain how much chakra the young boy had since it would tell him the boy's rank, but there was no reason to do that. He would just find out the regular way. He noticed Hakuro staring back at him, and then he said something about Kizashi's short hair throwing off his prediction that Kizashi was a Hyuuga. "Yeah. I wanted to be more of an individual within the clan." Kizashi simply said. The the boy asked him if he was busy. "Nope, I'm not busy at all. Just sight-seeing. I'd love to accompany you. I've been looking for a fellow shinobi to talk to." Kizashi said to Hakuro. The boy had said that they may be on the same squad. Kizashi wondered at this, since usually genin were put on the same squad. Maybe Hakuro was a genin, but Kizashi wanted to make sure. "Are you a genin as well?" Kizashi asked the boy.

Ah...sorry about that. I'm also sorry about making you wait two days again. I got really busy with the other forums. The BFRP one I've been moving around advertising for and stuff because there hasn't been activity to it lately. I've also been doing some college work and getting ready for my orientation in two weeks. I kinda also forgot about the thread because I hadn't bookmarked it, so now that I have, I'll post more on it.

Hakuro smiled and shifted his forehead protector a bit " Yea, I recently turned Genin a few weeks ago. I've already been on a few great missions, its been fun." Hakuro pointed down in the direction he was heading, his former intentions were to do a few jobs, but with his new Hyuuga friend accompanying him, he though of an even better idea. " Kizashi, so how long have you been a Genin? haven't you been assigned to do anything yet?" Hakuro returned to a relaxed mood, he threw his hands down into his pocket and continued down the road. " mmm . ."

Kizashi was right all along. His new friend Hakuro was a Genin like he'd thought. Hakuro said that he had been a genin for a few weeks. That was the same thing with Kizashi. He had also been on two missions during that week. "I've been a Genin for about...I'd say a couple of weeks. I'm not sure. I've lost track of time." Kizashi said with a light hearted chuckle. He then began walking alongside Hakuro as he began walking. "I've been on two missions so far in my time as a genin. One was a dog walking mission and the other a mission to rescue two dogs that had been stolen." Kizashi said. He didn't want to reveal too much information about the second mission, for he thought that he would not be believed by anyone if he had said something about the bear with the chakra cloak. It still gave him shudders just thinking about a beast such as that. It had the power of a jinchuuriki but unable to control it as a jinchuuriki does. It was like a smaller version of a tailed beast.

[Hakuro]

Hakuro nodded as Kizashi went on about his missions. Surprisingly the boy had been on the same amount of assignments as he had, "Dog walking huh? Sounds fun." He said sarcastically, covering his smile so the boy wouldn't notice. Hakuro slowly continued along side the Hyuuga, He took a left at the Ramen shop, and continued down a clear path leading towards the main entrance of Konoha "Almost there now, just a few more steps ahead" Hakuro slowly looked from left to right, then suddenly stopped "This is it!"

Hakuro was now standing in front of the large structure that was Konoha's gate, he took a minute to examine the area to see if anyone was still on duty;apparently there wasn't. "Ok so listen carefully, were going to head out into the forest and have a little competition, I call it the Hunt-a-thon. There are no rules, you just have to head out and hunt down the largest beast you can find, we'll donate it to charity. What do you say Kizashi, you up for it?" Hakuro looked over with a confident smirk, he knew the boy wouldn't back down, the real fun was just about to start.

Kizashi continued following after Hakuro, wondering a little as to where it was that they were going. "Not that fun. It didn't turn out as bad as I thought it would be though." Kizashi said, realizing only to late the sarcasm in the boy's face. At that, he gave a slight smirk and continued to walk alongside the boy. Kizashi snuck a gaze at the Ramen shop as thye turned left of it, and then turned his gaze forward and saw the entrance to Konoha before them. Why were they heading to the entrance to Konoha? Kizashi wasn't sure, but it looked like he was about to find out once Hakuro had said that it was a few more steps ahead.

Kizashi had a weird feeling as they stopped in front of the gates. Then, Hakuro explained everything to him. "A Hunt-a-thon? Sounds interesting. I'm in." Kizashi said, smiling now. He was smiling because this game would be somewhat too easy for him. They had to hunt the largest beast they could find. With his Byakugan, he would be able to do that easily, and from one spot, and then he could just pick the largest beast he could see within his 360 field of vision. But he wasn't going to doubt this boy's skills. If he was trying to have a hunting competition with a Hyuuga, then he must have some good hunting skills of his own.

[Hakuro]

Hakuro nodded, and began sprinting straight threw the gate, he yelled back as he quickly moved onwards " Meet me back here in 45 minutes." He knew the boy would use his Byakugan and Hakuro was an expert at hunting. This was going to be a very interesting challenge considering the fact that Hakuro had an intriguing trick up his sleeves.
