[Mission] I'm Molting!
The alleyway the jounin had been sent to wasn't any different from any of the other alleyways he might have seen throughout the rest of Konoha.
Well, except for the homicidal chicken.
The guy was getting pecked and raked by this feisty bird's beak and claws. Apparently he had been dealing with it so much these past twelve hours that the hobo had decided not to let this freakin' chicken get the best of him.
"Ah! You're here!" the hobo chimed as the jounin came intto view. "Think you can figure out why this chicken's so pissed? It's driving me nuts!"
There were many trashcans, cardboard boxes, garbage backs, and large clumps of paper strewn about the alleyway.
Good Luck.

[Mission] I'm Molting!
Jin knew he was in to see a sad scene. In this mission, he had to figure out the bad actions of a crazy little chicken. Crazy it sounded, a mission was a mission. And he hoped to learn a thing or two about homeless people. He had seen them before inside Konohagakure, and felt sad all the time when they pass him on by. The depression they must feel had to be hitting their soft spoits every moment.
When Jin approached the bum, he remembered how he came here. It was horrifying. The putrid smell was beyond his grasp, and the lack in people told that this was kept as a territory of sorts. He felt more sad than ever, but not enough to draw it into facial expression. With calm eyes to the his attention, he waited politely for the man to finish.
"Alright. Don't move. I'll grab it."
Jin then reached for it.

Jin went to pick up the chicken.
Apparently, this was the last straw for this chicken. It had been denied what it had sought for too long to be nice. "Bgawk!" With a leap that no normal chicken should be able to manage, the bird jumped atop Jin's forehead and began furiously pecking him in the forehead, back-flipping off his forehead before the jounin could catch him.
It stood ten feet behind him now, jumping up and down on its hind legs, sqwaking intimidatingly whilst it flapped its wings.

Jin didn't understand. When he reached for the bird, he felt like everything might turn out to be alright. This was interesting. Well, not really something in his interest. When it attacked him, dodged his attempt to defend and counter with a grasp, he really felt annoyed by this chicken.
He then created a batch of medicine from out his hand, asked the old man what was it he might think could have ticked it off. For what Jin figured, it might need medicine, and the scent that it gave as he reopened his hand should compell it. Then again, not all creatures are going to reach for the same thing.
Still, there was nothing wrong in trying.
"What do you think made this bird this way? Anything you do, you see?"

The old man just shook his head. "I dunno, man," he shrugged amidst all of the clucking. "I just remember taking off my hoodie a couple of days ago, cuz' it was getting hot. Then, I went to look for some food and some work, and I come back to find that dang chicken sittin' in my hood! I shooed it off, and then it started goin' bonkers on me. I figured it'd just get over it, but the darn things been here for almost a day, hoppin' into my hood and peckin' the crap outta the back of my head!"
Normally, this wouldn't bother a jounin, but then these words popped out of the guy's mouth. "And whenever I tried to get away from it, it'd start jumpin' off walls an- HOLY CRAP, LOOK OUT!"
Whuuuuut.
Jin would turn to see the chicken standing on the wall, crouching and launching himself in a dive at the jounin's face.

*Kinobori no Waza [Act of Tree Climbing]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra, and it also teaches them how to run up trees and walk up walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are said to be the hardest location to learn how to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will be able to have any jutsu available to him (theoretically) because she can focus chakra as needed. Next the chakra released must be properly controlled.

Jin couldn't believe his own ears. When he heard that the chicken could move about on so eerily, he had to know what this had to be about. Even more feeling intrigued by it all. Sadly, it wouldn't be done so easily, and might not ever in his lifetime. Maybe this was one of those missions where he had to do his duty, and care not of the odd things it shared.
When the chicken went for a maneuver to stomp his face, he stood there more amazed, and could not believe his own eyes. It felt flabbergasting when it succeeded to pressing its talons onto his face, but he couldn't keep the man waiting in despair. So he grabbed them, and tried to suppress it with a firm grip and arms distant from his own body.
"Sorry about that."

The chicken was lithe, but with Jin grappling its legs, it wasn't able to do too much. With irate squawks and clucks, it began wildly flapping its wings to no avail, trying to break free of its captor. Just as this occured, the old man seemed to get an idea. "Hey..." he said aloud, both to himself and to Jin. "There's a bunch of straw around here, right? Maybe this little chicken came in and roosted somewhere. If we can find its roost, maybe we can move it and it'll leave me alone!"
What he said was true; there were a large amount of hay groupings near the back of the valley, a good portion of them big enough to allow a chicken to house within them without much notice. There were five of them that seemed especially likely... but the old man would have to do it alone. This chicken would maul them both if it got the chance.

Jin looked to the old man with a questioning eye. He hoped there'd be a solution, and for a while figured there wouldn't be any. that wasn't until the man told him of five separate spots the bird might find itself back to its calm era of feeling.
"All right. lead the way." He said as his hands had been holding the chicken quite firmly. "Rest assured, we have our chicken."

The man started ruffling through the first large haystack, carefully picking it apart from the bottom until the mound was slowly leveled. "Nothin' here," the old man stated, crawling over to the next pile and prepping himself to search it.
The chicken had stopped moving; it appeared content to it's sentence of being held by the jounin. One thing that was weird was that it seemed to be staring at the jounin rather intently.

Hyuuga Jin found it interesting that the bird was content. What made him sort of lose the interest and want to look away in annoyance had to be when the bird simply stared at him. It knew Ninjutsu for pete's sake. The oddity it shared made Jin not want to fall to its bad side in any kind of way.
When he said "Sorry. This isn't personal my friend," he knew it did not understand. Maybe it was for his leeway towards contentment?
When the old man suggested the next area, Hyuuga Jin simply followed.

The old man decided to be quicker about it this time, checking two stacks of hay this time. Still, when they were both leveled, that was all that was there: hay. "No good here, neither," the old man sighed. He made his way to the fourth stack and started sifting through it, hoping to find this elusive roost.
The chicken sat there, still staring at Jin. But something was changing. The chicken's feet lightly gripped one of his fingers and it's red frill slowly rose up, its eyes getting just a bit wider every second. It flapped its wings open, keeping them raised, almost as if trying to intimidate the Hyuuga. After this, Jin had about half a second to react:
"Bgaaaaawk!"
From the chicken's beak came a small two foot gout of flame and sparks, directly aimed at Jin's face.

Hyuuga Jin looked at the bird, and it felt like it was looking at him. Then his eyes went back to the old man. Then back to the bird. He simply could not believe it's ability to walk on walls. In his gathering of all the information in his brain, still, he never seem to have seen or heard such mythical skill if it had no master or wasn't a summon.
Since Summons required the master to pull the strings pretty much, he figured that... maybe the old man had been pulling his leg. Then thought twice, as he looked at the old guy. Sure, he looked weak, and that's when a second running though came in to fight against the rising feeling of overestimation.
After a little futher walking, he forsaken the thought all the way, taking in to believe the chicken had the ability to--
"What the..."
Flames began to spew from the chikcen's lips, and Jin found himself so confused he had dodged it a bit too late, finding himself partially, and for only a second, devoured by the small flames. At least he was able to dip his head back fast enough for none of the flames to latch on him, but wasn't lucky to remove or avoid the scarring and damages.
He knew the bird meant harm, and therefore trying to cope with what it did like a passive parent, carrying it on to the nest so it could react the right way hopefully this time.
This chicken... just spat fire at me...

The chicken resumed its irate protesting, squawking at the jounin that now had crispy wisps for eyebrows. During the moments that the old man was sifting through the final haystack (the fourth hadn't produced any results either), Jin could have sworn that he saw a small flash of white in the man's straw-filled hood.
Then again, it could simply be delusions set on by being flamed in the face.

"Sir" Jin said. He did not want to appear rude, but what he saw had to be the answer to their problems.
"I think there's something in your hood. It might be the key to our door!"
He said it with a little enthusiasm, but still in a calm and shy manner and tone as usual. He held the bird afar, but still kept holding its talons with a fair grip.

The old man looked at him puzzled for a moment. "Huh?" he replied as he confusedly slipped off his sweatshirt. Lo and behold, in the straw-lined hood lay three large white eggs that resembled giant pearls.
The irate chicken managed to slip from Jin's grasp, squawking and flapping its wings as it jumped into the hood. As soon as it sat down over its eggs, it immediately became passive and peaceable.
The hobo looked at the situation and scratched his head. "What am I gonna wear at night now?" he asked to himself.
Luckily, that didn't have any bearing on Jin's mission. He was finished, his job completed.
