[7eleven]

Ekitai was waiting outside the exit to underground training complex, trying to keep an eye open for the Ichibi kid. From what he could gather, he was a pretty plain looking kid with short black hair, which wasn't going to make this easy.

[Ace Trainer]

It was gonna be pretty easy actually, since Yasunari was the only ninja that would ever be using this area. In fact, it had been built specifically for him. Just so he could train his bijuu without hurting anyone. Two jounin walked behind him as he walked up the stairs. Sand floated behind him in a defensive cloud, the Ichibi really didn't trust konoha ninja.

Yasunari locked eyes on Ekitai, looked him up and down, and then instantly dropped his head. The sand floated about him, wrapping around his body like a hooded jacket, hiding him from Ekitai. He took a sharp right, and began walking away, and jounin leaving the boy now that he was out of the area.

Ekitai was pretty sure he found the kid once he saw him manipulating sand; It wasn't exactly an element of common usage in Konoha. Much to his dismay, however, the kid seemed to be avoiding him. Ekitai started jogging after him, turning down the hall that Yasunari had turned down.

"Yasunari! Hey, dude, wait up!"

[Ace Trainer]

Yasunari inhaled and exhaled deeply, as he heard Ekitai racing to come after him. Yasunari had lived 14 years of his life having a sort of fear on his back. The Ruisan hated him. What was left of them. The Ichibi inside of his belly had murdered the entire Ruisan clan.

And those that survived, without a doubt, had to hate him.

The sand got closer to his body, and some of it molded onto him into Suna no Yoroi. He turned and looked at Ekitai, "Hello Ruisan-sama.", he said as respectively as possible.

The moment he said Ruisan however, cynical laughter erupted into his ears.

Ekitai was a bit put off by the fact that the kid seemed to be on the defensive, but it's not like he could just sort of call this thing off. He was already there. Added to that was the fact that he hadn't put much thought into what he was going to say. Well, actions speak louder than words, I guess. Ekitai stuck his hand forward, open, in an offer to shake the kid's. "Just call me Ekitai."

[Ace Trainer]

The shukaku's laughter got even louder. He found this hilarious. "Alright....Ekitai-sama. Did you need something from me?", he tried to force some sort of casualty into his voice, as if this was a normal meeting. But, it was a Ruisan...

He was, needless to say, a little scared.

[7eleven]

Ekitai thought for a moment; He didn't want to be blunt about this. Just saying that he didn't blame the kid wasn't going to convince him of anything. "Well, are you busy? I was thinking that we could go get some ice cream, or ramen...or something." Sadly, being raised, for the most part, by Tousha had made him incredibly socially awkward in some situations.

[Ace Trainer]

His eyes widened briefly when the mention of ice cream came up. Until he remembered who he was talking to. Helpless to the situation, he frowned solemnly and nodded. "Yes, ice-cream would be nice Ekitai-sama."

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH"

Ekitai patted the kid on the back, lightly pushing him forward as he did so to prompt him to walk with him. "So, I realize that this may be a little weird. I'm just not good with introductions, I guess. Anyways, what do you think about joining a genin team?"

[Ace Trainer]

Yasunari practically tripped when he was patted on the back. Not from the power of the push, but simply from the shock, and fear, of Ekitai. Then he was prompted with one of the strangest questions. Tousha-sama, nor any of the council members had mentioned a team. They had made some subtle hints at an apprenticeship, and his recent run-in's with Yasu had caused him to believe that Yasu would be the jounin he'd be placed under the guardianship of, but they had made no mention of a team.

Perhaps because they expected him to understand he'd be on one regardless.

"A genin team would be hard for me. I'm not very good at team work.", he said with a pause on the end.

"Wouldn't you love the chance to tear into the skull of one of your teammates. Giving me their blood?"

[7eleven]

Ekitai nodded, thinking. "Well, as of right now, it's not a permanent team. A bunch of shinobi are going to investigate this weird island, and I was sort of throwing together a hodge-podge team for it. So far, I've got this Hyuuga kid on board, but I'm trying two others. And don't worry about the team work thing, it'll work itself out."
