[Mission] - Guest Demonstration

[Versesai]

The field selected for the demonstration had been prepared days in advance for just this occasion. There was a large sitting blanket with cushions on the ground a few meters away from several wooden dummies attached to wooden posts. The group was already walking towards the area with two dark-blue clad instructors with them, one in front and one behind. Twenty students worth and all that was left was the Genin they'd requested for the demonstration.

Obito had warmed his muscles, stretching them out in all sorts of angles. He focused his mind as he readied himself for his demonstration. Moving to the training area, his large blue eyes picked up on the obstacles he presumed he had to project his ninja skills on. Wooden dummies on pegs, stood lifeless as a little breeze passed by there stance. The academy students making there way to the sitting area, where Obito met them and the two instructors.
Bowing forward to show his respects, the young Genin spoke " I'm Obito, the Genin that was requested," Rising from his bowing position, "How can i help out today?"

By the time Obito got there, the students had been lined up a good few meters from the dummies and one of the instructors was standing in front of them, talking. The other was setting up the dummies a little better, nodding with each check until he looked back and saw Obito. "Oh, welcome welcome." he said suddenly, smiling as he motioned Obito closer. "Thank you for coming on such short notice. We thought the children would react better to a demonstration of techniques that they could learn in or just after the Academy. It's not really wise for us to tell them about Chuunin or Jounin level techniques, you know?" he said, shrugging his shoulders now.

"Anyway." the instructor said, glancing over to the students. "All you have to do is follow my cues and do whatever will fit into the lesson best." he explained, then coughed gently and motioned again for Obito to get into position in front of the first dummy.

Once he had, the instructor stepped forward and clapped his hands, causing the other instructor to move out of the way and for the children to look forward. "Alright class. I want you all to pay close attention, as Obito here is going to demonstrate some of the things you can learn once you graduate. Now, some of the basic techniques are also some of the most helpful. I personally use most of the techniques you're learning now in all of my missions. Obito, why don't you demonstrate a technique you're fond of?"

Smiling as he carefully listen to instructors, he knew what they needed to see, so Obito had to be perfect with his moves. Moving in front of the first dummy, its plane emotionless wooden face was nothing like fighting against a real breathing ninja. The dummy couldn't take his life, but a ninja wouldn't hesitate at the opportunity. Rustling the back of his hair and scrunching his face was his way to show he was confident as the instructors readied the students to watch his movements.

Nodding once more as all eyes settled on him, it was his time to shine. He had already selected his first jutsu mentally. Using his left hand, Obito reached into his left leg pocket to pull out two Kunai. Having them hooked into his index finger and wedding finger his first stage of preparation was ready. Obito's right hand started the seals off as it clenched into a fist, before quickly slamming into the palm of his other hand in front of his chest, his right hand stretched out sliding away, twisting forward as Obito spoke. "Heat transfer!" An orange tint illuminated from the Kunai in his left hand. With in fractions of a second, Obito dashed forward, striking his left arm across the wooden dummy. Slicing from right to left and back again. As his final arm movement finished, Obito hopped backward. His left arm resting above his right shoulder from the previous slash, Obito Unleash the flurry of his Kunia. Throwing them forward, the two blades struck deep into the dummy's chest.

Landing on the ground where he started, Obito turned toward the instructors as he began to speak. "That was the heat transfer technique. Notice there are scorch marks where my Kunai struck the body of the dummy. Now wait for it..." Obito finished his sentence and as the few seconds passed, the dummy ignited from the heat being released from the blade that had embedded themselves into the dummy's chest.

The technique's demonstration was quite flawless and the instructor nodded as Obito finished, drawing a few cheers from the more fire happy students in the class. Much to the chagrin of an instructor who looked ready to smack one of them on the back of the head. But the other instructor managed to quiet everyone down, thankfully. The instructors, with order renewed, continued.

"Thank you Obito. Now, not every technique is offensive. Obito, I'm sure you know a few techniques that are useful for something other than causing damage. Care to share one? It can be something as simple as a Genjutsu or a supportive Ninjutsu."

[Caution]

The cheer from the students gave a for filling feeling to the Chunin. Listening to the words of the instructors, a smile drew wide on his face. This was a chance to show his newly lernt jutsu, it was a defencive one and he new it would be something that would get the students on there toes.

Moving into a position where the students could see a side view of both Obito and the next dummy was needed for this technique. This was one of the more advanced skills he had, Flame wall. Taking in a deep breath his eyes closed as his mind focused, before exhailing and opening his eyes. His chalkra was focused and ready. Slotting his hands together like a cross, then pulling them apart to face outward like a mimes hands, his arms then shot up in the air as he spoke " Flame wall!. As the words escaped from his lips, a large wall of fire burst from the ground in between Obito and the dummy. rising upward to 2.5 meters in the air, with a thickness of half a meter.

Holding the jutsu for several seconds as no doubt the instructors examined his jutsu and the class gazed at it. " Notice this fire will stop any one from coming to close, giving valuable defence or time to re-think your strategy." Sweat dripped from the brow of Obito due to the heat from the fire. Releasing the wall after sufficient amount of time, Obito walked back toward the students, wiping his forehead as he moved.

An impressive display rose an equally impressive round of applause and a few students 'ooing' and 'ahhing' at the fire wall, with even one of the instructors raising an eyebrow and giving a soft clap at the display before he caught himself and returned to standing next to the students. There were still two dummies left to go, however.

"Amazingly impressive Obito. Now one thing you should all notice is that Obito is using Katon techniques. This means his natural affinity is towards the Fire Element. Fire is very destructive and very offensive as a nature. Obito, why don't you demonstrate one of your more powerful techniques on the dummies so the students can get a real look at how Katon works?"

[Caution]

A smile rose on his face as he knew the students had been impressed by his moves. Obito had shown how katon can be used to protect himself, now it was time for him to show how destructive it can be. He could now show why fire is a deadly force to be reckoned with. Two targets left, but he was unsure which Katon jutsu to use to show power and destruction.

Stepping up to the next dummy, he had an idea of what to do. It was too crowded with the students to use his spiral technique, so it would have to be down to the forceful power of meteor punch. Quickly performing his hands seals, from oddly spider like finger signs to clenching one hand into the other.
"Ryuusai Sentou" shouted Obito as he fed his first with chakra, causing a surge of flames to ignite his fist in a controlled manor. Forcing his strength and weight behind his first, the magma like appearance his fist had gave off flew forward toward the dummy. As connection happened the flames exploded outward, disintegrating parts of the dummy as his fist followed through. Wood scorched and splintered flew in the same direction as his fist. As the destructive force flew forward, shrapnel from the first dummy collided into the last dummy, scorching it and stabbing into the dummy, tearing it to shreds.

Pulling himself in to a respectful stance again, the controlled chaos that laid behind him showed the power, that these students could learn. The first dummy obliterated by the jutsu while the second lay in a decaying mess from the secondary attack of the debris.
"How was that?" Smile Obito as he looked toward the instructors.

[Versesai]

The class was, er, enthused by the display. In short terms. Sudden clamoring was hard and massive claps and cheers and all kinds of insanity. The instructor closest to the group had to put his arms out in front of the kids to keep them back and most of the academy students were now secretly wishing their affinity was towards Fire.

And the instructor nearest Obito actually took a step back and reached up, quickly plucking a bit of cindered wood out of his hair. He took a moment to right himself after the display and coughed gently, collecting Obito's attention. "Thank you Obito. You've been great. Before we end the class, would you care to tell the students about the five Elemental Affinities? Katon, obviously, but can you name the other Four for us?"

[Caution]

Feeling good after his display of jutsu for the students, even better that a his mind was laughing as he watched one of the instructors pull a little bit of wood from his hair. All that was left was to name the four other elements. " Yeah of course i can." smiled Obito. His eyes shifted in a upward manor as his head tilted to the side.
So there is fire, wind, water, earth and lightning, but what are there proper names... Thought Obito, his silence only lasted for a few seconds before the names came to him

" Well there is Katon of course, Suiton, which is water. Doton which is earth, Fuuton is wind and..." Thinking once more as he could not remember the name for lightning. " Ermm... Raiton! which is lightning!" Smiled Obito as he rustled the back of his head while his eyes closed as a little laugh escaped his mouth.

[Versesai]

The classes seemed to take a moment to digest the information and the Instructor looked pleased, though most of them seemed to be waiting for Obito to perform another Jutsu. Unfortunately for them, the main instructor motioned for them to line back up and head back down the path. The class was over.

The other instructor offered his hand to Obito now and he sighed, saying "Thank you again. That was a terrific job. Though now I'm sure all of our students are going to wish they could use Katon techniques.." he mused, laughing gently.

[Caution]

Smiling back as the instructor shook his hand, " it's ok, I'm just doing what you guys had trained me for." It looked like his first mission was in the bag, it was now time to do some serious training and make his jutsu stronger than ever. Giving a small wave as both he and the class departed from one another. "good luck." spoke Obito as he walk away, a proud look on his face as he knew he had helped them progress a little bit more, just from his demonstrations.
