[Invasion!] Betsubatsuni makes an entrance!

The golden ring rolled through the darkness, shining with brilliance from the light of the moon. The guard peered at it, unsheathing a kunai, staring at in, compelled. It finally stopped rolling, falling flat on the ground, and the guard took two cautious steps forward, peering his head over the center, reaching to pick it up. Suddenly, it jumped to life, floating quickly around his head, causing his head to disappear. It stopped glowing, and his body fell out the ring, decapitated.

An arm reached through the ring in the darkness, and a body pulled through, Betsubatsuni stepping out of the ring with a giggle. Tossing his head at the body, "I probably just set off some alarm or something...", he murmered, scratching his chin. Another ring floated towards him from the darkness, and he jumped up, sitting on it, the two rings floating forward, through the gates, into the village.

It was about 2 in the morning, the an almost full moon shining brightly on this night. A few clouds in the sky, it wasn't likely any rain was going to pick up. Betsubatsuni was dressed in his normal wear, even wearing his sunglasses. He giggled, floating about 20 feet above the buildings, making it so that if any one was outside, and looking up on this particular night, they'd be able to see him.

Funny.

Ekitai, seeing a strange man floating through the sky, figured that something wasn't right. A man with an ability that cool, he'd know about. Ekitai wasn't the brightest bulb in the dust pan, but he knew that this man did not belong here. So, being a Guardian, he had to do something about it.

But it's so late...

Regardless, Ekitai jumped up, chasing after the man from below, through the shadows. His launcher in hand, he prepared a bullet, waiting for the right opportunity to strike. Just as the pink haired intruder was passing by an especially large building, he got his groove on. Creating and breaking a camo bullet in his off hand, while creating a paralysis bullet in his good hand, and jumping from roof top to roof top at break neck speed, he caught up with the guy. Jumping on a building that was nearly at his level just as he passed it, Ekitai turned and fired with precision. Hopefully, he'd be able to take the man off guard.

Thank god Betsubatsuni was completely oblivious, he kept floating forward, and at a constant enough rate that the bullet whizzed behind him. Nicking his hair in the process. He felt it, and sure as hell he fell forward, falling off the ring in panic. One of the rings shot down, and he grabbed onto it, looking upwards, in circles, until he saw a man slowly turning invisible.

"Why are you up at 2 in the morning!", he exclaimed, launching himself downwards, the ring he wasn't sitting on following him. Full speed, he began weaving through the ally ways, not that that was the smartest move he could make. As Ekitai was higher than him, giving him an aerial advantage, dumbass.

"For Kumogakuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure!", he screamed, taking a 90 degree angle and shooting upwards on a building. The ring flew, and he dropped into it, coming out of the other one, still on the ground, and taking off in a speedy run. Distract tactics.

Ekitai, following the man from the rooftops, was not distracted by the diversion tactics. It did, however, put Pink Hair a good distance away from him, so they'd be playing cat and mouse for a little bit. The man's screaming pretty much confirmed Ekitai's original idea of him not being from Konoha, which alleviated any feelings of "hey, I probably shouldn't attack this guy on so little information."

As he created a paralysis bullet in his launcher, without firing it, he triggered the fuuinjutsu that would relay his current location, and the location of the perp, to Tousha. It was time to bring in the Big Gun.

Inshidenshin [Telepathy]

This seal creates a constant telepathic link between all members of The Guardians. All they have to do concentrate on sending a thought to a single member of the team, or the team as a whole. This only works if the members are within Konoha, or within 50 yards of one another.

Somewhere deep within Konoha's bowels, a slight ripple caught the young Yamanaka shinobi's attention. After a completely uneventful shift he had been preparing to leave his post so that the next unfortunate soul could take his place watching the chakra sphere that represented the barrier around the village hidden in the leaves. But as his comrade made his way towards the device that would keep their chakra linked to the barrier's, a disturbance floated across the barrier's surface.

"Raise the alarm!" he yelled at the Yamanaka walking towards him, as well as the Chuunin and ANBU shinobi keeping guard throughout the massive room around him. The Yamanaka's eyes grew wide as he stopped dead in his tracks and looked around at the other ninja standing around him, thinking that it was probably just another joke at his own expense. But when he noticed that the ANBU had already disappeared, he took off running in the opposite direction.

Within moments Konoha had woken from its slumber. Shinobi rallied as the word spread across the Hidden Leaf Village that an invasion was taking place. Already civilians were being huddled into underground shelters and squads of ninja were being sent out to surround the village in case the invaders attempted to escape. Others were simple dispatched to the location of where a single rogue ninja had been spotted floating above the village, but they would soon discover that a heated battle was already taking place.

And watching all of this unfold was Umezawa Tousha, who was currently scratching at his jaw in contemplation. "Send four of our most talented fuuinjutsu masters and have them whip up a barrier to keep our guest from leaving before I can properly greet him."

The two leaf Jounin kneeling behind the Hokage nodded in unison, but before they could leave the Hokage raised a hand and added, "And send a messenger to Nara Shoushi and Senju Karijinashi. Tell them we're getting the old team back together."

Four fuuinjutsu masters and three veteran shinobi later, they were ready to put their plan into motion. The four shinobi who specialized in kanji ninjutsu separated into a perfectly square pattern, and then completed the same set of hand seals simultaneously. As they completed the seals a massive purple barrier was erected around the missing nin and the Guardian he was currently fighting. But the two young shinobi would soon realize that they weren't alone.

"Let's show these youngn's how we used to do things back in the day," Tousha said as he twirled his steel jitte around his index finger.

"EXTREME!!" Karijinashi screamed at the top of his lungs as he raised his arms into the air and flexed his muscles.

Shoushi just sighed and glared up at the missing nin who had invaded his village at two o'clock in the morning. Clearly the seasoned ninja wasn't at all amused with the young missing nin for attacking his home at such an early hour.

"Move out," Tousha said with a wave of his hand, and then disappeared from sight.

*Shishi Enjin [Four Violet Flames Battle Formation]
B-Ranked Fuuinjutsu
Shishi Enjin is a Fuuinjutsu field creation technique utilized by four ninja. After surrounding their target, the four barrier specialists will create a rectangular box made of violet flames. Once created, no ninja will be able to penetrate the barrier without being harmed by the walls of flame. The only way to destroy the barrier is by disrupting the field from the inside. To protect themselves while they are in the box, the four ninja will create another wall near them to completely enclose their body. This allows their opponent and another ally to fight, while they can remain unharmed.

[Hakuro]

Hakuro was enjoying a nice nap when he heard the buzzling sound of Konoha's main alarm. "Oh man, what's going on?" he said in a low toned voice, rubbing his eyes. He slid open his room door and slowly made his way down to the living room. Standing at the front door was his father and mother. They were speaking to one of the village's Anbu. "Dad, what's going on? He slowly moved towards the door seeking out an anwser. "Oh! Hakuro, this Anbu actually came here to evacuate me and you mother to the underground tunnel. It seems that the village has been breached and we're under attack." "What! by who? how many are there?" The boy quickly began questioning his father who didn't know much about the situation. "Hakuro, calm down. Your job is to escort the remaining villagers to safety, let the Hokage deal with the rest" The Anbu member that was standing at the door pointed down the street, he spoke in a low toned voice "Hakuro, All Genin have been ordered to help the civilians escape. There should be some more still stranded down on that street. I'll take your parents to the underground tunnel, while you go and get the others" Hakuro didn't obtain the information he had wanted, but the resident's safety was much more important now. He nodded at the Anbu and took off to his room, he threw on his traditional gear and quickly made his way back out . He caught his parent's gaze; Father. . . Mother, please stay safe, I'll meet up with you guys soon. He then slipped through the group and slowly walked down the street. He cautiously looked around the area, cautioning himself just in case the enemy was in his district. This was the biggest task Hakuro was ever assigned to, and he was glad. Being a Shinobi meant protecting your village; friends and family.

[Ace Trainer]

Betsu watched as the fuuinjutsu blasted up around him, and reached upward for his ring, sending the one he had with him right through the purple. He didn't know what it was, but, his rings could make it through. The moment his ring went through the purple walls, he jumped into the air, diving through the ring he had launched into the air earlier. And coming out of, thankfully.

The other ring. As he grabbed onto it with his hand, he shouted in pain. "OH! What the fuck! That's huuuuuuuurt!", he said, jumping into the air, he made a quick seal, wincing at the pain from his burn, forming a ring clone directly under him, while willing his other ring to follow him out of the fuuinjutsu. He looked back, waiting for it.

Betsubatsuni can create up to 20 clones of his rings. These rings are inactive, and cannot be activated as seals. It just makes it difficult to predict where he is coming out of.

The siren sounded, and the girl stretched in her bed, yawning loudly. In fuzzy PJs, printed with teddy bears, the girl sat up, rubbing the sleepies away as she finished her yawn. Oh... and that was such a nice dream, too.... With tired eyes, the girl looked out the window of her bedroom, and surely enough, the bright moon and brilliant stars cast light on to a figure flying past her window. Quickly, her eyes opened more widely, and she stood up on her bed. What-- what was that!? She bounced off of her bed excitedly, not even bothering to change: Her weapon's pouch and her pink, fuzzy slippers, and the girl was off.

***** The enemy was injured, and as a result wouldn't be likely to see the glitter until Sakaki was prepared. A loud, piercing giggle was given life. The stars themselves seemed to descend from above, twinkling and sparkling as thousands of shards of glitter sank and danced below what few clouds their were, surrounding this new enemy as Sakaki herself lay hidden on the roof tops. Quickly, over a separate rooftop, a small portion of the glitter came together and took shape, becoming miniaturized versions of Sakaki after gathering together. Each one giggled loudly as they came into shape, smiling brightly down at the enemy. "Come and get us, mister Baddy!" The girls spoke in unison as the glitter above and around them danced. She had seen a portion of the fight with Ekitai, and was prepared for the enemy to pull off some form of trick with the rings.

The girl sealed, though, and decided to see how well he would fare in true combat. It was natural that he would see the silver glitter glistening in the starlight, and Sakaki would use that to her advantage, ensuring that he stuck around to inflict some carnage on Sakaki: The enemy would be far too enraged not to attack Sakaki or her clones, if her genjutsu was successful.

16. Uzu no Pika --Swirling Sparkles

Description: Using this jutsu, Sakaki performs an advanced version of Musubi Heki, summoning thousands upon thousands of shards of her glitter. The summoning comes from above, falling down prettily and almost celestially upon the battlefield. Once the glitter has been summoned and placed upon the battlefield, it begins to swirl around in a large sphere, being controlled wholly by Sakaki’s chakra. Because Sakaki has yet to find a means of summoning her red glitter without activating it, she cannot summon the red glitter for this jutsu, though she can manipulate what red glitter is on her personage to use this technique. From her home, Sakaki can summon up to three quarters of her entire collection of (non-red) glitter at once.

7. Musubi Bunshin -- Glitter Clone Technique!

Description: Using this technique, Sakaki can multiply the amount of glitter she has, and then shape and disguise it as herself, effectively making a clone of herself out of glitter, that will explode into a cascade of it when destroyed. At Sakaki's jounin level, the glitter clones may use unlimited e-c ranks (within reason, based on chakra supply, of course). One major advantage to this clone over typical elemental clones is that it can be a long distance away from Sakaki without dissipating -- as long as it can travel with a fair chakra supply. The clones may actually be up to ~one thousand kilometers away from Sakaki, if they spend their whole lifespan traveling.


18. Kawaii Musubi Enbu -- Silver!

Description: Rather than using eye contact to cast her genutsu, Sakaki uses her favorite pretty sparkles: Glitter. Upon making eye contact with this particular color, The opponent falls under yet another of Sakaki's favorite techniques. The silver does not cast illusions or make the opponent hear things. It makes them feel things. Not physical things, or believe they are on something with mass, but feel emotions. Using this technique, Sakaki can make the opponent feel any of the following emotions: Guilt, fear, happiness, sadness, anger, joy, or embarrassment. This emotion can be felt strongly or in a weak way, at Sakaki's discretion.

Tousha watched as the invader managed to slip one of his strange ring weapons through the purple barrier that had created around him. And then in the blink of an eye, the young man disappeared through his second ring and reappeared outside of the barrier.

"What just happened?" Shoushi asked skeptically as the Nara witnessed the same escape the Hokage had.

"He got out," Tousha replied simply. "Bring the barrier down, now!"

Upon his command the fuuinjutsu specialists released their hold on the barrier, causing it to dissipate and fade from sight in a matter of moments. Tousha, Shoushi, and Karijinashi could only stare up at the battle unfolding overhead, which was an unusual scene indeed.

"What are your orders, Lord Hokage?" Karijinashi asked while several glitter clones manifested around the attacker.

Tousha considered the situation for a moment and then said, "Go inform the shinobi leading the patrol squads to keep their eyes peeled for those strange rings the attacker's using. If they find any of them, have them destroyed immediately."

With that the Senju clan leader bolted off, screaming something about extreme message delivering.

Sakaki's eyes watched the enemy carefully. It seemed he had paused a bit to consider the girl. It didn't surprise her; The child was awfully young, so to see that she was actually going to challenge this man who had evaded the Hokage would have been laughable at least. The stranger laughed at the girl, and the disks flew. Sakaki reacted with hand seals then. As one of the clones was decapitated, it decimated itself into a massive burst of glitter, and then the enemy was caught.

Suddenly, all around him, the glitter caught, tightening around him and changing color. Each shard of glitter was red now, and they flew directly at the enemy from all sides. Disks flew towards the enemy now, but to no avail. Even as he flew through the disk, the shards buried themselves into his body. Betsu showed up yards behind Sakaki, his own body covered in tiny flecks of glitter which had buried it's way into his skin... and then he was gone. He gave Sakaki an ugly, frightened look as the he noticed how the glitter shown on him, and then they ignited, each blowing up at the same time. As long as his consciousness lasted, he would know only that explosion -- but his consciousness would fade away once the enemy felt himself die.

Her genjutsu was successful. The second the clone dissipated and he saw the prismatic glitter, he was doomed. He would see them impale him no matter where they were, as shards of glitter flew about the battlefield. Then, in his last brief moment of consciousness, the explosion would take him, and he would lose himself. By the depth of his sleep, it looked like he'd be out of it for a while.

Sakaki slipped up from under the ground, Looking at the man. He was pretty... pretty. Pink clothing and yellow sunglasses, and even rainbow colored lips. Sakaki bet that must have taken him forever to do. She liked it. She approached him, and began to bind him, removing wires from her pouch and tying his hands and legs. She made sure to keep his hands tied separately from one another, so one could not work on another, and he wouldn't be able to work seals either. The enemy was not likely to have use of his hands. Of course, he probably knew the escape jutsu... But Sakaki didn't mind taking the extra time binding him anyway. He would need to take a few seconds to use the jutsu, at least, and those seconds could make all the difference, in the attempted escape of a prisoner. It was only a few minutes to bind him anyway.

It wasn't long until other jounin came to Sakaki, looking at the invader. "He used those gold rings to move... I think they have some kind of space/time jutsu in them." She was gesturing at the rings. "We'll need to make sure they get broken.... or maybe we can just ruin his jutsu somehow... Whatever we do, those need to be extra far away from him so they can't go to him fast!" Sakaki was looking down at the boy. "And make sure you don't put any part of you into the rings!" She didn't trust those rings... this ninja was putting all of his power and strength into them. She took from her pouch a bunch of orange and purple glitter, rubbing them on his clothing and any bare skin that showed; She wanted to make sure he wouldn't get away from them. The other two glitter clones were down by the time Sakaki was finished, and using some of what was fast becoming a low supply of energy, Sakaki made a glitter clone of the shards which now sparkled on the ground rather than fluttered in the air. The three of them would carry the body to the Hokage, and ask, once the captive was successfully bound and unable to move for good, to question him herself... She didn't like the thought of someone torturing answers out of him, when she could just get them with genjutsu!

19. Kawai Musubi Enbu: Prism!

Description: Sakaki's most powerful type of glitter is different from the rest because it is not of one, solid color, but rather a meshing of all seven colors of the rainbow. When the sun or another light source shines on these, Sakaki is able to use her most powerful genjutsu. While Uzu no Pika is in effect, Sakaki will use this genjutsu to make it appear as though every flake of glitter in the air -- and every flake on the opponent's body -- is made of teeny, tiny blades. These blades will seem to then all fly into the opponent at once, from every direction, making avoiding the glitter, once in the illusion, impossible.

The illusion does not end with simply painless piercing. The glitter is, in fact, too small to cause any bodily harm, and therefore the opponent feels no pain when they dig in. It is only when the glitter that has delved into their body and explodes that the true purpose of the illusion is set off. The explosion is also illusory. They are aware, a split second before it happens, that their end is near, and then the glitter explodes, causing the mental death of the victim, with a likely result of fainting, and at least heavy mental trauma. This genjutsu requires one to two full posts to be completed, and ends once the explosion is complete and the victim would be dead.
