Kusa Hara Hitonakase (Grass Field Annoyance)
Rank: C
Description: Seeping chakra into the ground under them, the user makes a single handseal. Suddenly the grass in the area of effect grows long, grass even growing where there was none, it will even sprout under water to reach past the water's surface up to the battle at hand. The field grows tall enough to brush along the average person's shins. The grass stalks become long and sharp, able to hinder the movement of enemies and give them small cuts. The hold is a weak one that anyone can break out of. Last for 2 post.
Base Stage: 10 feet radius
Wit 3: 20 feet radius
Wit 5: 30 feet radius
The grass had become dangerously annoying to deal with as En stood on top of it. With each passing moment he knew all too well that if his objective was to actually go out of his way to further the understanding of nature itself he would need to try and form a solidified pact with the earth itself. Such a feat seemed fairly simple, but at the same time as En began to overlap his hands together to form the proper hand seals he knew all too well that there was very little that could have been done to evade the process in which he'd need in order to honestly complete such a task.
Placing a single palm against the ground itself, En slowly started to watch as the greenery which made up the pallet which he had been standing on seemed to raise up and take form. Such a steady flow of chakra began to seep into the extended blades of greenery in an attempt to give birth to a much wider and thicker form of grass itself. As he stood a top of the grass itself, En could feel the ground attempting to push forward so that it could raise and remove him from on top of it. Yet as he continued to stand his ground, En could notice that the grass itself had finally seemed to accept the tiny fragmented blades of grass were intertwining with his chakra quite well.
The first sign of growth was in the twisting of the grass itself as it attempted to stretch forward towards the heavens with each passing second that En kept his palm onto the ground. Seconds passed as the grass managed to generate a new breakthrough in which several centimeters had been reached. Such a tiny little threshold for the amount of chakra En had been pouring into the earth, roughly a meter of the grass around him was growing at this rate. Spreading out like a wave which gradually seemed to expand outwards over a small area from within En's palm. The wave itself only lasted for roughly two meters away from it's epicenter before the grass seemingly fell short and simply returned to it's lifeless motion.
The grass had fallen silent, a symbolism that En had not only attempted to complete such a simplistic task and had fallen short but a testament that he had some ways to go. The bases of the Kusaton was similar to those of his very own Mokuton, but at the same time several differences seemed to ring out to the point that it was becoming annoyingly difficult for him to pay attention. The first of these was effortlessly the fact that the tiny blades of grass which en could feel beneath his fingertips was much more delicate then the thick roots and heavy wood which he used. As En slowly started to reform the proper hand seals so that he could perform his technique once again, the ideal image of the difference between a tree and a single blade of grass seemed to linger in his head.
The amount of chakra required to maintain the growth of a root was so much more unstable compared to the amount of strength and effort required to control a blade of grass. The two were so similar but what it came down to was simply control, and what could only be labeled as patience by this point in time. En lacked both… but at the same time as he completed his hand signs and placed his palm onto the ground once again. The regulation of one going into another had been found fairly well and this time around En wasn’t going to allow it to be lost.
Dropping time dribbles of chakra into the pool of grass around him. The grass itself seemed to be growing and slowly reaching upwards so that it could properly advance towards the height which En had intended for it. Rather then expanding outward like the wave as it had done just moments before, the grass itself seemed to simply impact towards En’s palm. It was an impact which seemed to reach inwards towards En’s body so that the grass on the outer rim could properly mimic the height of the grass within the area which En had already affected. Coiling around it’s predecessor the grass on the outside effortlessly found it’s way inside and managed to properly reach the same heights.
As En injected a bit more chakra into the grass he could watch in delight as the tiny blades seemed to expand higher and higher within the single patch of greenery which he had created. The growth of the grass was perfectly angled around him so that he could avoid having been struck by the grass beneath him, yet at the same time it was so accurately controlled that En could feel his own chakra simply easing out of him and slowly settling to a halt as he removed his hand to signify the jutsu end.
