[Graded]Deciding The Future

[Niro]

Kawa sat in a one of Konoha's many beautiful parks, watching kids play around and their parents watching them. The day was bright and the weather slightly humid with birds chirping and squirrels chittering.

It was days like these that reminded Kawa of his former team mates. Bensha had decided to do something else for a bit while something had happened to Yasunari. Probably something to due with his coal seal but right now he wasn't around at all. That was bad, he needed his friends for the chuunin promotion. Kawa sighed as he laid back, kicked up his feet and stared into the blue, blue sky.

[Arion]

Katashi found himself running on an errand that so happened to take him through the park. It wasn't extremely important as he took a leisurely pace. He would look left and right, taking in the sights around him. It felt good to be back in the game and doing something. He had just met another nin and the two got off to a good start. Remembering his meeting with her, he almost didn't notice when a pair of feet were kicked up in front of him. He managed to stop, avoiding a trip and fall. He looked over to the person whom had kicked their feet up. There on the bench sat a young man with redish-brown hair and an eyepatch on his head.

"Watch it buddy," He spoke out. Not loud as if to pick a fight, just to say it to let him know that he or anyone else, could have tripped. Regardless, he seemed to be distracted, his attention up in the clouds. Seeing that the rest of the bench was empty however Katashi decided to sit down.

[Niro]

"Ah? Sorry, daydreaming." Kawa apologized with a small smile as he readjusted his feet as the other boy took a seat.

'White eyes, black hair. Hyuuga.' Kawa thought and mentally shrugged, filing it away for later.

"So, since it'd be boring and quiet if neither of us struck something up...Name's Kawa, you?" The semi-redhead asked, holding out one hand for a handshake hoping the boy was friendly enough. Maybe today would be his lucky day.

[Arion]

"Hm?" Katashi looked over at the boy as he introduced himself and held his hand out towards him.

Whatever, I guess it couldn't hurt... maybe I'll find another teammate in him...

"My name is Katashi," He replied back as he shook Kawa's hand. "Nice to meet you," He added as he tried to keep things going, to avoid boredom as Kawa had noted, "Taking a break?"

[Niro]

"Mhm. Taking one before I go hit up the library for a few dozen scrolls of fuuinjuts-ah, well if you were an enemy I shouldn't have mentioned that but you seem to be a comrade so I guess it doesn't matter." Kawa shrugged to himself as he shook Katashi's hand.

"So, what brings you out here this beautiful day?" Kawa asked with a small smile as his thoughts returned to the current conversation and not the library.

[Arion]

Fuuin?

Katashi thought for a moment as Kawa kept talking.

Sealing techniques? So he knows... at least some because he plans on learning some more.

"Well, we are both from the same village, genin too," The last part was more like a question, trying to see if he would let it out. "Me? I'm just running an errand for the family," He explained as his reason for being out there, "Decided to take a break... Say, where is the library again? I think I've only ever been there once and it was sometime ago."

[Niro]

"Well, the civilian library is more towards the civilian suburbs while the ninja library is close to a large apartment complex on the more ninja-y side of town." Kawa explained as he recalled the two. "The civilian one is big on the outside and has good fiction and civilian history but the ninja library is mostly underground. Probably incase of attacks."

"Yeah, being a genin is...somewhat fun. It's mostly D-ranks but heh, sometimes you'll get a C-rank. Last C-rank I went on my team mate used a methane bomb to completely decimate the opponent. Well, former team mate." Kawa shrugged as he grinned at the memory.

[Arion]

Katashi nodded as he listened to Kawa's explanation of the two libraries. He didn't even know there were two of them, so already his experience had been worthwhile. When Kawa got into the D and C rank missions and talk about his former teammate, it made him think a little too.

"I haven't gone on any C rank missions... plenty of D rank though," He said as he recounted his over half dozen missions. He certainly had his genin career set. "Did... your teammate die?" He asked, wondering if that had been the case since he had said former.

[Niro]

"No, he just hasn't been around at all lately. Probably something to do with his family, they're pretty messed up." Kawa sighed. "Lately he had something put inside him, something that made his body always radiate this awesome amount of heat that he could use and when it rained, the rain could not touch him at all because of it."

"My other team mate, well, former, is a Senju. Instead of the normal trees though he liked to focus on grass. He's been gone too. Guess I'm without team mates, huh? So, enough of me. Tell me about yourself."

[Arion]

"Oh?" He listened attentively as Kawa explained about his teammate. Then he spoke of his other teammate, a Senju. It sounded like to him that he had about as much luck with teammates as he did, at least he was hoping that was in the past.

"Me... let's see... I've gone through teammates like toilet paper. They come and go, haven't had one stick around long enough. I met someone recently, I'm going to try and make this one last." Then, the idea struck. Maybe he could get a team going? He decided to go with the idea and give it a shot.

"Maybe you should join up with us sometime. Do some missions, socialize, exams, and or training, should work out nicely between three of us. That is if you'd like. I'll speak with my teammate and we can all meet up to see what we'll tackle on first. What do you say?" He waited for the response. He was actually excited to see what would come of this.

[Niro]

Kawa grinned and rubbed his nose. "A new team, huh? And you say you have another just waiting?" The genin had a few ideas going through his head when Katashi mentioned almost his exact thoughts. Seemed they might be able to work along together pretty well, a perfect team dynamic could mean the difference between life and death.

"I'd love to. I'm pretty much qualified for the chuunin exams but I hope to get a bit of training in first to make sure I can pass. Yeah, when you talk to the other person come and find me or I'll find you eventually. I'm usually hanging out here but here.." Kawa ripped part of his sleeve off withdrew a needle from his pocket before he wrote down an address. "I know, it's a crude method but there's my address if you can't find me."

[Arion]

"Hm..." Katashi took the torn off piece of fabric as he made out the address that was written on it. Nodding, he tucked it into his pocket so that he wouldn't lose it.

"Yes, I'm pretty much ready for the chunin exams as well. If we are all ready, we should probably take that on, but let's hold that discussion for when we all meet up. I live in the Hyuuga Estate. If you can even get in, just ask for me. Some of the elder Hyuuga are a bit stuck up and proud, if you get my meaning. Either ways, we know roughly where to find each other, it shouldn't be too hard." Katashi stood up as he stretched his arms up and then faced Kawa.

"It's been good, but I still have errands to run," He held his hand up, a high five, "Looking forward to working with you!" He exclaimed with a grin, waiting for the high five back before heading off. It seemed that the Hyuuga boy had finally found himself a pair of teammates.

[Niro]

"Hehe, seems like we're almost all ready. Yeah, it does sound like most Hyuuga have pride issues." Kawa nodded as he stood up. He stretched one arm across his body and looked around. Most kids had left the park and only a few left lingering.

Kawa gave Katashi a high five before he turned around towards the direction his apartment was in. "Alright then, go do your errands. I'll see you around Katashi-san, have fun." He started walking, whistling a tune.
