As so, she was in the training grounds with her younger sister, the young girl having been a willing volunteer for the testing of her new technique. She actually felt bad, seeing how eager the girl had been upon being asked… She hadn’t been dropping by to see her family nearly as often as she should have been and she knew the girl was just wanting to spend some quality time with her… Well, she would get her wish once their training session was over.
For now however it was time to get to work… Alrighty, I need to perform a mind transfer and leave behind just a small portion of my consciousness, just enough to prevent my body from going limp while keeping the transfer at full effectiveness. she thought to herself, facing her target and performing a series of handseals. Once the seals were completed she built up chakra and sent it flying forwards, cutting off the connection just as her consciousness began to leave her body. In fact… she could have sworn she felt her body begin to move and breathe on its own just before she left it.
Soon enough she found herself in control of the younger girl’s body, taking a moment to reorient herself before looking over towards her old body, noting that it indeed seemed to be pacing about, though it seemed to appear almost as if it was sleepwalking. Well, that made sense that it wouldn’t be entirely alert… it had after all only been her first attempt and there was after all only a small piece of her consciousness remaining in there. However it did clearly have some semblance of thought and even speech as she watched it run over and very briefly converse with a few passerby,
It was a very interesting sight… and it brought a thought to mind. What other possibilities did a technique like this really bring to the table?
