Description of the Organization: Iwagakure no Sato is, first and foremost, one of the Five Great Nations within the shinobi world. It is located just north of the high plains of Rock Country deep within the Minami no Kabe mountain range. The village is made entirely of stone, with a surprising bulk of the architectural mass being underground. The villagers of Iwagakure are famous patriots, and take that sense of solidarity into their honor codes, oftentimes to a fault. Iwagakure believes the necessity of brute force, training elite fighters said to be the most competent of all the villages, if not the most numerous.

As the steppes, altitude and location provide horrible agricultural conditions, the village is home to a booming steel industry due to the large amounts of ore found within Rock Country. Iwagakure is also acknowledged as the most proficient village at weapons technology, and in times of war they control a majority of all military exports, supported by the slave trade that has been part of their culture for centuries. While these practices make Iwa arguably the most monetarily prosperous of the Five Great Nations, the bulk of the profits are then funneled back into their military and infrastructure.

The village lies within the Shinan Valley which is located deep within the Minami no Kabe mountain range that essentially splits the southern and northern sections of Rock Country. This makes it nearly impossible to find or stumble on due to its location and several hundred feet of mountains to any side of it that prevent access. The mountains around the village are old and wild, populated heavily by wild tribesmen at best and at worst thick packs of mountain wolves, bears, goats and predatory birds such as hawk and falcon. It is incredibly dangerous to access or escape without knowing the paths and trails of the mountain that Iwagakure Shinobi know. The terrain of the mountains in the Minami no Kabe range make it impossible to directly access Iwagakure from above due to their slanted peaks and incredible height. The most apt example of this are the peaks directly around the space Iwagakure no Sato occupies, known as the Megami no Kiba, or the Goddesses of Fangs. These fifteen hundred feet elevation peaks are incredibly rigid and sturdy made of the most solid minerals and their slant makes them criss-cross over each other like the locked fangs of wolves. The mountains have constant direct sunlight but due to their elevation they are constantly frozen over and only the hardiest of men can live even half-way up their peaks, which are often in a constant state of sub-zero temperature.

Historically, the village branched out from a much smaller military instillation at the center of the village, which now comprises about a 20 square block market district, where most of the village's trade and commerce occurs. The other districts run in a radial fashion outward from this center, with the more affluent and official districts in the north, clan complexes of various flavors somewhere in between, and lower to middle class physical laborers from the engineering, mining, smelting, construction industries living in the Shadow Districts to the south (literally in the shadow of the Wall during the morning hours). All over the village there are multiple training facilities, arenas and private medical complexes specializing in stitching up the various and inevitable bumps and bruises that come with rigorous combat exercise.

The only way into or out of Iwagakure no Sato is The Wall. A massive, one mile thick circular stone wall stretching one hundred and fifty meters into the air and across the entire Shinan Valley that is made entirely of featureless, incredibly compressed stone. There are no gates to The Wall and no discerning features on the outside. The inside section of The Wall has multiple ramparts and guard posts as well as beacon fires and messenger posts. Access to the wall is expressly controlled by its guards who manipulate the Wall with chakra to open, close or reinforce it depending on necessity. The Walls only discerning features are its four small towers, shaped like layered pagodas, each one forty meters tall but extending deep into the wall. These towers house the wall patrols, as well as serving as emergency deployment posts should Iwagakure ever come under attack.

Surprisingly small at first glance, the village of Iwagakure no Sato is actually located a good mile beneath the surface of the ground compared to where most think it occupies. Each building in Iwagakure, large or small, is merely an upper level designed to provide basic functions to the village and the vast majority of actual living space is located deep underground. Houses are built in formations for compounds where each upper building connects into the same lower structure if they provide similar functions. This means that attacks or damage to the upper level of buildings are easily recovered from and the majority of the village's population is located underground at any given time. This has also condensed the surrounding underground of Iwagakure over time into incredibly thick, durable bedrock that is almost impossible to tunnel through in a short time.

[Blast Shield: The Village]

A ninjutsu developed to protect the village from those who would try to attack from the air. Multiple Kouton users will perform the needed hand seals and touch an edge of the Wall which will spawn a titantic Kouton shield over the village. The shield originates from the innermost border of the Wall and forms inward to create a dome over the village. This dome requires 50 Strength to puncture and has the Kouton passive enabled.

The jacket's outer layer is made from a thick, coarse material that provides protection [15 Strength] against various elements and potential threats. Its earthy color palette, featuring shades of brown and gray, seamlessly blends with the rocky terrain of the village, allowing shinobi to camouflage themselves effectively during missions. The flak jacket is reinforced with sturdy plates strategically placed to safeguard vital areas such as the chest, back, and shoulders. The arrangement of these plates not only enhances defensive capabilities but also allows for ease of movement, enabling Iwagakure shinobi to maintain agility in the midst of battle.

Functionality is a key aspect of the Iwagakure flak jacket, featuring numerous pouches and compartments strategically placed to hold various tools and equipment essential for a shinobi's missions. Whether carrying kunai, shuriken, or other specialized tools, the jacket allows for easy access, ensuring that Iwagakure's shinobi are well-prepared for any situation.
Communications Radio 24 Ryo:
A compact communication device worn on the head, featuring a combination of headphones and a microphone for hands-free communication. The headset consists of a padded earphone that cover or fit into the ear to provide audio output. A flexible microphone is integrated into the design, allowing the wearer to communicate without the need to hold a separate device. The microphone can often be adjusted for optimal positioning.

These devices utilize [Link] fuuinjutsu to establish wireless communication, enabling users to transmit and receive messages within a certain range. The controls for adjusting volume, changing channels, and activating other features are usually located on the headset itself for ease of use.
Gas Mask 80 Ryo:
A basic mask worn on the face, the mask is lined with a compound made up primarily of charcoal, allowing it to filter out ambient chemicals in the air aside from oxygen. This protects the wearer against airborne particulates that may effect breathing patterns or have otherwise derogatory effect against the wearer.
Chalk Grenade 21 Ryo:
A chalk grenade is a non-lethal tactical device designed for specialized applications. Unlike traditional explosive grenades, the primary purpose of a chalk grenade is not to cause harm but rather to disperse a cloud of chalk particles upon detonation. The outer casing of the chalk grenade is made of a durable yet lightweight material to withstand the explosive force required for dispersing the chalk payload. The grenade is designed with safety in mind, featuring a robust mechanism that ensures controlled release of the chalk and minimizes the risk of injury to bystanders.

Upon activation, the chalk grenade emits a burst of vividly colored chalk dust [15 Strength] to neutralize and neuter jutsu. This can be particularly useful in training exercises to contain out of control jutsu or it can even provide useful in crowd control situations where the chalk grenade offers a non-harmful means of marking individuals for identification or tracking purposes due to the colorful residue.
Omni-Directional Movement Gear 58 Ryo:
ODM Gear was developed as a way to allow shinobi to navigate the intense mountainous terrain without the use of chakra. Compromised of three different components, shinobi wear a specialized harness that holds the gas canisters and the mechanisms for controlling the wires. The ODM Gear itself is worn on the hips and legs, with triggers and handles to control the release of gas and the firing of the wires. The gear is powered by gas canisters, containing compressed natural gas. The user can release gas from these canisters to propel themselves in different directions up to 80 meters as the gas canisters are connected to retractable wires with sharp, anchor-like tips. These wires can be fired into structures such as buildings, trees, or mountainsides allowing the user to swing or navigate in three dimensions [20 Strength].
Soldier Pill 53 Ryo:
Special pills developed by Iwagakure no Sato to nourish the body and heal it in the midst of combat. It is made up of powerful stimulants and nutrients that are near-instantly absorbed into the body. These stimulants and nutrients release a healing effect comparable to the lowest tier of *[Iijutsu • Mystical Palm] which affects the worst wound for 2 posts.

Beings within the area of the technique not familiar with the temperature drop will suffer from extreme exposure, with their bodies cramping, slowing, and shivering uncontrollably. Remaining exposed in this area for consecutive posts can result in a loss of coordination and a confused state of temporary amnesia as the cold begins to suffuse the brain.

By channeling doton chakra into their arm, the user will form rock from their shoulder downward, encasing their forearm and hand in rough and simplistic layered plates of stone. The stone passes over the hand on the back-side but leaves the palm-side uncovered allowing full dexterity of the hand for seals. This essentially resembles a manica, which is a segmented armor that spans the length of the arm. The armor has [Control] strength and speed.

After performing the correct hand seals and holding the last one, the user will stomp their foot on the ground, releasing their chakra in it and causing it to tremor violently for one post. Lasts as long as the last seal is held, for up to 3 posts.

The Enkouten manning Checkpoint Alpha turn the land immediately surrounding The Wall into a field of lava to deter invaders from walking up to the gates. This moat of lava measures as long as The Wall itself, 100m wide, and 30m deep. The lava burns within the moat with 45 Strength and sloshes about when disturbed with 5 Speed. It hardens into Doton after 12 posts.

Physical Features: Ishidai is a tall, tan-skinned man with a burly muscular and well-defined build. He has a full head of black, yet greying, hair which is cut into a medium length while a full yet trimmed beard adorns his face. He has black eyes which reflect every one of his 55 years of life. His face has pronounced cheekbones and tear troughs under his eyes, and a prominent crease across his forehead.
Clothing/Accessories: As the younger brother of a local (and now legendary) blacksmith, Ishidai has been the guinea pig for and beneficiary of many of his brother’s creations. His most prized possession is a suit of armor that his brother made for him. However, when wearing the robes of the Tsuchikaze, he only wears the chain mail under-fittings. Instead of the forehead protector, Ishidai wears the sugegasa (conical straw hat) of the Kage with the rock kanji on it and when needed for official business will also don the haori of the Kage.
Personality: Ishidai is not exactly what you’d call a born leader. In fact, outside of battle, he’s downright shy. Years of being compared to his brother before he made jounin have made him humble, though he went through a period as a chuunin where his competitive nature got entirely out of hand. Age has done a lot to mellow out this character flaw, but truth be told, his impeccable drive has made him the leader and ninja that he is today. He is stern, terse, and not particularly fond of talking.

Equipment:
Shingai:
Shingai is a massive naginata, measuring at 115 inches tall. The two blades measure 42 inches each while the remaining 31 inches constitute the center part of the weapon. It was created by the Tsuchikage's brother, a legendary blacksmith within Iwagakure no Sato who took over a month to create the monstrosity. The blades are wicked, curved, and shaped in a design reminiscent of a dragon's tooth with eyes similar to a dragon detailed on the bottom sections of the blades. The blades and shaft are made up of the highest quality steel found within Iwagakure no Sato and require a strength of 40 or more to break.
Bladed Gaunlets:
Ishidai, when donned in his armor, has two bladed gauntlets which extend up to his elbows to finish the ensemble. They, like Shingai, are forged of the highest quality steel found within Iwagakure no Sato and require a strength of 30 or more to break.

Armour Set
Ninku; resilience, durability, stoicism. The armour of the Tsuchikage. As much a piece of defensive equipment as it as a symbol of office, this set of armour is incredibly durable whilst still offering an almost full range of motion due to its layered design.

The torso section of armour is made of fitted layers of overlapping metal plates, allowing for as much range of movement as possible whilst remaining fully protected. Each of the plates are coloured dark green with black trim, covering the chest, back, and midsection. The heavily ornate pauldron's are in fact completely separate from the primary chest piece, allowing them to be easily removed if necessary. In place of standard green or black as the rest of the armour commits to, these giant hideous ogre skulls are golden-brown in colour, standing out even more than they normally would. Intriciately designed, including long pointed ears and tusks that come to a sharp point which can be used offensively for a shoulder barge in a pinch, these are tied around the upper arm and attached to a simple metal plate that comes down to just above the elbow. On either arm is a metal bracer engraved with the symbol of Iwa. The bracers reach from just below the elbow to just over his first knuckle and has a black fingerless glove attached to wear it with.

A heavy belt sits at the waist, tied close with thick green rope in place of a standard leather belt and buckle, with thigh guards attached. This armor has a soft, black cloth on the inside, which rests against a secondary armored skirt of heavy scale-mail, with green iron plates sewn into the cloth and connected via black leather cords. which reaches down to his knees. There are six separate sections of the armored belt, one for each leg in the front, back and sides. Black lacquered metal shin-guards complete with green trim; they have dark green cloud-like designs around the cuffs that reach up just past the knee. Instead of standard ninja sandals or combat boots of some kind, the shin guards are attached to a pair of straw sandals designed to be worn with padded socks. The armor set requires a strength of 45 to break.

After performing the correct hand seals and holding the last one, the user will stomp their foot on the ground, releasing their chakra in it and causing it to tremor violently for one post. The tremors radiate out from the user in a 25 meter radius, knocking down anyone standing on the ground without a stability taijutsu technique of a rank equal to [Control]. Lasts as long as the last seal is held, for up to 3 posts.

After performing the correct hand seals the user places their palms on any earthen ground, channeling chakra into it allowing them to lower or raise any 5x5 meter segment of the ground within 40 meters at [Control] speed and strength. The maximum distance the segment can be lowered or raised is 40 meters. The user must keep their palms on the ground during the course of the jutsu. If they remove their palms at any time, the jutsu will end and they will not be able to raise or lower it any further without redoing the technique.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a nondescript 2x1x2 meter jaw complete with a dense row of spiked teeth. They will then launch the head at a target for up to 40 meters traveling at [Control] speed. During the course of it's travel at any time the user can perform an additional hand seal, causing the jaw of spiked teeth to close shut, clamping and impaling whatever is within it at [Control] strength.

After performing the correct hand seals and holding the final seal the user will form a dragons head directly in front of them. So long as they hold the seal they will be able to rotate the head and fire up to 20 meter long stone spears, one at a time, up to 65 meters away from the mouth of the dragon. The spikes fire at [Control] speed and hit with [Control] strength. While using this technique the user has to stay immobile and any movement will cancel the technique.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form two gigantic slabs of earth around 2 cubic meters in size 65 meters away from either side of a target. The two slabs of earth will then lurch forward at [Control] speed attempting to crush the target between them at [Control] strength. This technique is slow, but powerful, and tends to work better on bigger targets who have less wiggle room to dodge.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a dome of earth at [Control] speed, up to 65 meters away. The dome has a diameter of 15 meters and it's walls are nearly a meter thick, having [Control] strength. This can be used defensively or to surround/trap an opponent in a location ideal for earth style techniques.

Having achieved notable mastery over Doton, the user is capable of shaping, directing, and manipulating existing bodies of the element without the need of hand seals or an existing technique. The range at which the user can manipulate the element is equal to the user's control times 2 meters. While the user can freely manipulate this element, they cannot produce the element naturally.

Said to have split even mountains, after performing the correct hand seals the user will slam their palm down on the ground. Their chakra will violently rend the ground tearing it apart in 80 meter line [Control] speed and strength. The tearing is 5 meters wide and 7 meters deep, shooting dangerous rubble, rock, and everything on the ground into the surrounding air during the technique. Over all this causes great destruction and being even near the path of this technique is quite dangerous.

*Doton • Birth of a New Mountain
S-Rank Ninjutsu
Myth says this technique was said to have been used by some of the worlds most skilled earth style shinobi over the course of that past eight-hundred years to create and shape the mountains of today. After performing the correct hand seals the user will hold the final seal and become immobile as they begin to form a mountain beneath them. Should the user break the last seal for any reason, the mountain will stop forming. The mountain forms with [Control] strength, making this extremely devastating to terrain and capable of rewriting entire maps. The mountain forms at a rate of 7 meters for length and 3 meters for height for every 10 points of control the user has put into the jutsu, per post, growing out from the user which is it's epicenter. This technique can be used for a maximum of 5 posts, however it is very rare for anyone to hold such a taxing technique for such an extended period of time, due to it taking the full amount of stamina from the technique. The mountain formed has a single peak, the rest of it being a ridge.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will place their hands on the ground, channeling their chakra into it. Beyond a 2 meter diameter radius around the user, the earth in a 80 meter radius around them will soften into extremely fine dirt at [Control] speed and to a depth of 1.5 meters. Anyone caught in the pit will begin to sink rapidly, however those with at least 35 Speed will be fast enough to move before the fully begin to sink into the earth.

Once the water is expelled, it will form an umbrella shape that is concave to the user and about two meters in diameter. The defense is shot at [Control] Speed and has [Control] Strength and unless completely destroyed it lasts for three posts before falling lifelessly to the ground.

Created to safely incapacitate opponents, after performing the correct hand seals, if the opponent is within 25 meters and is standing a top a body of water with the user's chakra in it, the user will begin to churn their chakra causing the water to turn into a vortex and engulf the opponent, trapping them in a vortex about two meters in diameter. Once the target is inside, the user must hold the last seal and cannot use any other techniques, capable of holding this for up to five posts. In order to escape, the target must have at least [Control] strength to physically make their way out, or the user must be disrupted. Most shinobi would pass out after two posts due to a lack of oxygen. However, if a target possesses an Endurance stat higher than 10, it would require three posts for them to pass out. Should the target possess an Endurance stat above 20, it would require five posts for them to pass out, but anything higher than 30 would allow them to resist passing out altogether.

Once it has been created, the user can launch the three-meter diameter projectile towards a target at [Control] Speed and Strength for up to 40 meters. Following the head is a long body and tail, stretching nearly six-meters. During the course of it's travel, the user may alter the course of the dragon three times, allowing it to complete a U-turn per alteration.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will expel a large amount of water from their body as a sweeping defense against hostile techniques. The water from the technique forms a cylinder around the user at [Control] Speed, and flows around the user. It is approximately 7 meters around and 2 meters thick, leaving only the top unprotected. The wall has the ability to deflect things with [Control] Strength, but even if something break through, the walls thick nature makes traversing through the water fully troublesome. The wall lasts up to three posts unless dispelled earlier by the user or destroyed.

After performing the correct hand seals the user is able to spew a large ball of water that stands at three meters in diameter. This ball rolls forward at the desired target up to 40 meters away and at [Control] Speed. Should this strike the target, they will become engulfed within the sphere. However, if this manages to strike multiple targets, it will envelop them as well, up to a total of 3 prisoners. One can resist being pulled into the ball if they have a strength higher than [Control]. The trapped targets will spin with the sphere and may become nauseated and dizzy from the disorientation. The technique lasts for a total of 4 posts before bursting.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will create a pressurized blade of water in their hand. The blade is approximately 1/2 meter wide and 2 meters tall, resembling a larger sword. The pressurized blade of water has [Control] Strength and may fire half-meter long blades of water with [Control] Speed and Strength. It lasts for 4 posts or until destroyed.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will hold their hand out to a body of water. The water begins to swirl around and form into 5 3-meter long sharks similar to Great Whites. The sharks will swarm towards opponent's who stand on the body of water with [Control] Speed and ravage them with [Control] Strength. These sharks last for 5 posts before dispersing back into water.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will flow chakra into their heel. When they next slam their heel into the ground, a massive 25-meter diameter geyser will shoot up from the ground directly in front of them at [Control] Speed and Strength for up to 60 meters. The sheer force of the water alone is dangerous, not to mention the gravity of it all falling back to earth.

After performing the correct hand seals the user slams their hand down on the ground, causing a ring of water to form around them. This simple technique involves proper use of the pole of the user’s weapon to deflect blows. By properly angling and manoeuvring their spear or staff they can deflect other like weapons, hand to hand blows or even sword blows by striking the right place at the right time, even while in motion.

This simple technique involves engaging an opponent’s weapon or one of their arms and moving it slightly to one side with the user’s weapon. This creates a very small opening which the user then exploits by kicking the opponent, keeping their weapon guarding the opponent’s arms.

The foundational stance of the Kushou style, Low Wind Rising involves the spinning of the user’s spear or polearm around their body constantly whilst remaining in motion. The user will vault themselves into the air using their polearm and then unleash a powerful blow from above. This technique is used to disorient and surprise foes as well as overpower them as it strikes with all of the user’s body weight and momentum from the spin they perform in the air in order to strike with the spear that was touching the ground moments before.

Prerequisite: [Sword Weapons] concentration
A supplementary stance of the Kushou style, Folding the fan involves pulling back the user’s polarm and using only a portion of its length in order to engage briefly in shorter range with opponents. This sacrifices the user’s range advantage, but also allows them to more properly deal with those who get inside their range. This allows the use of a polearm weapon like a sword weapon.

This is the core technique of the Kushou Style. The user will begin in the Low Wind Rising stance and then approaches their opponent. They will begin with a wide arcing blow to begin this combination of blows. Following this they will spin their polearm and their body as they follow their opponent across the battlefield, chasing them down as they block and evade. This technique takes the user’s entire post, and can strike a number of times equal to half their speed. Those who block more than one blow will suffer a -3 to Strength for 3 posts as the weapon’s momentum and force jars their body.

Prerequisite: * Kushou・The Swallow Takes Flight
The user of this technique must first launch themselves high into the air as if with The Swallow Takes Flight. They will then begin to spin and unleash a flurry of blows from above. The user is capable of performing up to three strikes in the air, each of them prolonging the user’s airtime. The Swallow Rides the Wind is useful as it maintains the advantageous high ground and all of the forward momentum toward the opponent throughout all of its blows, giving the user an effective +6 Strength and -6 Control for the three blows.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
This technique is a kind of mental preparation for the constant movement and spinning involved in the Kushou style. This enables the user to gather snippets of vision, sounds and tactile sensory information in order to be properly aware of the battlefield around them whether standing still or in rapid circular motion. The user is effectively aware of their surroundings within 25m of their person, able to recognize when attacks are coming and the body positions of opponents.

While rare for a practitioner of Kushou-ryu to be on the defensive, this technique is designed to facilitate effective defence against other close ranged opponents. The user of this technique is constantly aware of distancing between the opponent and themselves, and therefore will aim all of their strikes to prevent the opponent from closing the gap using their long weapon. This will make it extremely difficult for those with less skill than them to get close to the user safely without somehow neutralizing the user’s weapon.

* Kushou・The River Undercuts the Bank
B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The user of this technique will first block an incoming strike. Then, they will almost immediately cease resisting, causing the opponent to fall forward slightly and lose their balance provided they do not possess a Perception technique of equal or greater rank. This successfully created opening allows the user to raise the lower end of their weapon to strike from inside the opponent’s guard, typically at either the groin or the chin with full strength.

* Kushou・Watered Silk
B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The user of this technique will strike the ground with one end of their weapon hard, dragging it in a line. This will fling a cloud of dirt, rock and dust up into their opponent’s eyes as if the user had thrown it. The use of one end of their weapon in this enables the immediate return of the opposite end for a follow up strike at either a blinded opponent or an opponent that is quite predictably dodging the debris.

* Kushou・Threading the Needle

After either blocking an opponent’s strike or having one of their strikes blocked, the user will flick their weapon. Using their great leverage and range to their advantage, the user is able to skilfully dart their weapon around the opponent’s existing guard for a series of quick thrusts aimed at their torso.

Ishidai was born into a small, very poor family in Iwa. At the time he was born, his brother Ishizue had just begun helping his father to work in a local smithy. Thankfully, business picked up considerably in his first few years of life with the opening of a new coalmine in the local vicinity. Because of this increased income, his family was able to send him to the ninja academy, a luxury not afforded his brother, who bore the burden stoically. In fact, Ishizue was proving to be a gifted blacksmith in his own right, and was very much disinterested in his missed opportunity by the time Ishidai enrolled.

During the first few years at the academy, Ishidai, being a portly little fellow (his newly well-to-do parents may have overfed him a bit), was teased and bullied by older and more accomplished students. After coming home beaten and bruised after school one day, the young boy went crying to his brother, who took pity on the boy. After working all night, the young smith created his first piece of armor; a crude, slightly bulky right arm gauntlet, which he presented to his little brother the next morning. Upon his next encounter with the bullies, they laughed at the shabby weapon. In all likelihood, the piece was heavy and should have been more of a hindrance to him than a help, but there’s no substitute for a boost of confidence; Ishidai soundly beat several boys and sent one of them to the hospital. From that point on, Ishidai has never gone into a fight without some kind of armor on, which he uses to augment his formidable taijutsu style, a style that he learned from an older student named Kobe.

When finally assigned a team, Ishidai was blessed with a genjutsu specialist and a ninjutsu user, Shiori and Ikasu. With such a balanced team, the three easily became chuunin a year after they graduated, and began increasingly dangerous missions. Sadly, Ishidai became increasingly aware that while his two comrades had begun branching out into other areas (especially after they started dating), his taijutsu remained the basis of his fighting technique. Goaded on by a diligent urge to help his team grow stronger (and maybe just a smidge of jealousy), the chuunin upped the ante on his already strict training regimen, requesting tutoring sessions from various older shinobi around the village, and generally working himself to death. The result, however, was undeniable; Ishidai learned a plethora of jutsu in a matter of just one year, and began specializing in doton jutsu, something he’d previously struggled with.

Still, Ishidai’s inferiority complex hadn’t quite worked itself out of his system yet. After taking and failing miserably in several missions on his own, Ishidai once again went to his brother, who once again took pity on him. With Ishidai’s help, several long months later, Ishizue created his first masterwork, a suit of armor called Ninku (or Stoicism). Ishidai had already gotten into the habit of storing his brother’s cast-off weaponry in a scroll, and now asked one final favor of Ishizue: melt down his previous creations to make a single weapon. Once again, Ishidai helped his brother each day after the blacksmith closed shop, and it took exactly one month to make a gigantic dual-bladed weapon, which Ishidai appropriately named Shingai (or Terror). To commemorate the event, Ishizue took his brother out on the down, and by the end of the night, Ishidai had gotten the bright idea to get matching tattoos. He and his brother now bear dragon tattoos; Ishidai on his forearms, and Ishizue on his upper arms. He has since sealed the arm pieces of his armor into those tattoos, but it was certainly not their original purpose.

Fast-forward forty years. Shiori and Ikasu have been married and retired for almost a decade, but they still serve as advisors from time to time, and accompany Ishidai on the occasional mission for old time’s sake. Ishizue is the owner and founder of a world-renowned foundry, and still makes custom armor and weaponry in his spare time. Ishidai has been Tsuchikage for quite a number of years now, after serving as the assistant to his predecessor for four. Ishidai has spent those years learning how to be a good leader, something he doesn’t think of as coming naturally to himself, or anyone else for that matter. He’s thrown himself into the study of it with the same fervor he did his fighting techniques, and to hear anyone but him tell it, his insatiable drive to excel has really paid off.

Physical Features: The easiest way to describe Ao would have to be eccentric. A bit of an oddity appearance-wise, Ao doesn't exactly say "stealthy" when one gazes upon her. Her hair, being every color of the rainbow imaginable, stops just past the bridge of her nose, being a bit longer on the right and much longer in the back. Her eyes are a miss-match of a doujutsu of various colors as well as an extremely bright blue. She has an average figure, save for being well toned and decently muscular. Ao wears black eyeliner, contrasting with her hair and eyes greatly, yet also with her rather pale skin. The Kanji for each of the five elements are tattooed on her back in wheel of sorts, each kanji being a color appropriate for the element they represent. Along her left arm and leg are several cloud and star tattoos. In her left ear lobe, Ao has two rings. In her right, a red jewel stud.
Clothing/Accessories: Ao dresses for the weather. Being in Iwa, it is often necessary to dress in layers to fend off the cold. Generally she wears a black pair of insulated pants which are tucked into fur-lined black boots in lieu of typical shinobi sandals. Her top consists of a long-sleeved white shirt underneath a pale pink hoodie. In colder weather she will additionally wear another Jacket, black in color. Ao often wears a pale pink scarf, a shade matching her hoodie. Ao also wears a large pair of goggles with reflective purple lens. She often does this to disguise her doujutsu, though with it being unique to her it isn't common knowledge. Lastly, Ao opts to have her forehead protector wrapped around her upper left arm. Ao often wears a cord necklace with 5 beads evenly spaced in front, one of each elemental base color.

One of Ao's other generally used outfits is not normally utilized for missions but more so when traversing the village or country in a more formal This outfit is much less combat-oriented, but still able to house all of her equipment either under or over the rest of it. The top for this set up is dark gray and black, the sides of her torso being covered in a thin gray material, though becoming thicker and darker as it covered the middle of her navel, chest, and back. The darker sections have a bright red trim that runs parallel to the edge of the darker portions, giving a defining outline to the material. Around her neck, Ao wears a black scarf, folded over her right shoulder and her head, forming a hood. The scarf is rather long and while the one end of it flows down to her knees, the other is secured in place with a red and black pin at her left shoulder.

Black elbow gloves run up Ao's arms with this outfit, with a bright red stitching pattern adorning the back of her hand and trailing up towards the elbow. Her pants are a very dark gray and contour to her figure rather sharply, seeming to flow seamlessly with the black shoes she wears upon her feet. A black slightly translucent beach-scarf is wrapped around her waist, tying on the left side and covering most of her right leg. The shoes have red-trimmed black leather buckles that secure them in place over the legging-like pants.

The last of Ao's usual outfits is namely utilized when she feels the need to go out and about as a civilian, enjoying social activities with the other villagers and not at all having to worry about the shinobi life. For the most part, the entire arrangement is black in color with select areas being trimmed in an iridescent blue-green fabric. The topic is tight-fitting, several buckles wrapping around just below her breasts. Her collar bones and upper chest are revealed with this outfit, though her neck is entirely covered by the fabric of the hood. The hood itself is black on the outside with a dark green on the inside, accenting the rest of her outfit. The sides of the hood connect to the arms of the top, but break away into two tails the flow down to her chest, meeting together and secured with a sea green tie.

The arms of the top are long and include her middle finger and thumb, encasing them in the black and thin fabric. A few black leather buckles adorn the wrists on her right side, with only a single black buckle adoring the left wrist. Towards the top of the arm, just below the shoulders are a spiral-pattern, turquoise in color. Ao's leggings are black with a very subtle print layed upon them, swirls of blue-green that show at the top of her legs, circling around the entire way. The lower portion of her legs are shrouded by her boots, black in color and with many buckles that run from above the ankle to just under the knee. A belt lines Ao's waist, several long pieces of fabric jutting from the bottom, black in color. One piece flows past her groin and down to her knees, the other two pieces come down at her hips, symmetrically falling down her legs on the outside. These black protrusions are trimmed along the edges with a light blue line.
Personality: Ao is eccentric. A strange woman with a unique outlook on life, she enjoys throwing others into strange and different circumstances in order to see how they will fair. It's her own unique twisted way of teaching. Those who have grown close to Ao would say that she really lives up her eccentricness, taking ownership of it and making it a part of her very being. Considered to be a very honest person even with her unique style of teaching, Ao is often courteous of others, putting their needs before her own, even if she doesn't necessarily think doing so to be ultimately a good idea.

Ao is not known for taking risks, having a calm mind and an almost foresight in the battle-field, her instincts and life experiences serve her well in many regards. Ao has the capacity for self control, but finds more pleasure in being aloof unless its necessary to have a more serious conversation. She is easily able to distinguish between work and play, though finds pleasure in getting others to enjoy work the way she does. Ao does not easily trust these days, having very few she would consider trustworthy in her eyes. Normally, she finds those of the younger generations to be much easier to trust, as they have yet to be adulterated by the harshness of life.

Loyal to Iwagakure, Ao sees her accomplishment as well deserved yet also bittersweet, wishing there had been another way to have helped the war. A different outcome. Ao is exceptionally observant, especially nowadays. She prefers to speak less when in a serious environment, keeping her observations and opinions to herself until necessary. In a more civilian-centered environment, Ao is far more outgoing even though her face usually portrays quite the opposite. Though she often looks and appears nervous, it couldn't be further from the truth. Every decision made, every word spoken, is made with the utmost confidence in the world, delicately chosen and layed out far in advance. When provoked for long periods of time a different side of Ao may appear. A cold, uncaring version of Ao which she tries extremely hard to keep buried in the back of her mind. The steel is finely barbed, meant to shred any flesh that comes into contact with it. On either forearm, Ao has a steel vambrace, with a line of four hooked protrusions on the edge outside of her body with palms down. The hooks curve towards her elbow, each one protruding about an inch and a half away from her arm. These vambraces are strapped to her harm with leather buckles. This doesn't allow them to fly, but rather to travel over things like land, water, and ice with greater ease. The user is only held several inches off of the ground. This Jutsu does not expire until the user’s chakra supply runs out or the user shuts it off. The fuuton passive is not applied in this technique.

After doing the needed hand seals, the user creates a small vortex of Fuuton chakra around a projectile in their hand that spins with [Control] Strength. Additionally, rather than applying fuutons cutting passive, the projectile will disperse chakra on impact, causing its force to be applied in a meter-wide area, sending shocks throughout utilizing the Raiton passive.

By holding two projectile weapons in one hand and doing hand seals in the other, Ao will imbue them raiton chakra. After they have landed or otherwise stuck into something, the raiton between them will form a small wall between the two of them, falling towards the ground or otherwise arcing upwards from the ground between them to meet in the middle at a 2 meter height. This effect will last for the next three posts.

By forming the necessary hand seals, Ao will shoot forth a web of electricity at [Control] Speed, roughly 5 meters by 5 meters, up to 10 meters away. Instead of causing shocks, this web will simply remain indefinitely whilst maintaining its strength stat unless dispelled or destroyed.

This Raiton will expand to 10 meters wide and attempt to grab anyone Ao wishes from within a further 10 meters from there by sending two tendrils of raiton to grab them at [Control] Speed, having an effective strength of [Control] as well. This will persist for the next 5 posts.

After forming the necessary hand seals, Ao will clap her hands together, sending out a funnel of Raiton chakra that will arc out from her hands, beginning narrowly and ending 5 meters in front of her, spreading out across an area 20 meters wide and 10 meters tall, forming at [Control] speed and having [Control] Strength. This raiton will only shock for the first three posts of its existence, but otherwise will last indefinitely or until destroyed whilst maintaining its strength stat.

After forming the necessary one-handed seals while holding a weapon in her other hand, Ao can imbue that weapon with shock properties as though it itself were a B-Ranked Raiton jutsu while also allowing the items effective length to grow by up to 60 meters as the mass of raiton surges through from the structure when striking. The raiton that surges from the equipment will endure and continue to shock whatever it strikes until destroyed.

After forming the necessary hand seals, Ao will amass a large amount of Raiton chakra that she will fire off at [Control] Speed taking the form of a triangular prism roughly 5 meters tall. Upon performing an additional hand seal, the prism will erupt, sending arcs of raiton towards everything within 20 meters of its core, lashing out with [Control] Strength and setting fire to the surrounding area as well, rather utilizing Raitons normal passive.

After forming the necessary hand seals, Ao will condense a massive amount of Raiton chakra into a marble-sized cube, launching it upwards into the air at [Control] Speed. Once the target is inside, the user must hold the last seal and cannot use any other techniques, capable of holding this for up to five posts. In order to escape, the target must have at least [Control] strength to physically make their way out, or the user must be disrupted. Most shinobi would pass out after two posts due to a lack of oxygen. However, if a target possesses an Endurance stat higher than 10, it would require three posts for them to pass out. Should the target possess an Endurance stat above 20, it would require five posts for them to pass out, but anything higher than 30 would allow them to resist passing out altogether.

This dragon head will be roughly 5 meters wide and tall and will stretch out to be up to 15 meters long, able to fly out as far as 60 meters from Ao and is fully controllable and redirectable so long as Ao maintains the last seal. The dragon moves with [Control] Speed, carrying an impact strength of [Control] as well.

This pool reaches its full size at [Control] Speed and will swirl and drag down anything inside it utilizing [Control] Strength for the next 6 posts.

After forming the necessary hand seals and inhaling sharply, Ao will begin to exude a massive torrent of water, shooting out up to 25 meters away from herself with [Control] Speed and Strength, the torrent being roughly 5 meters in diameter. Upon reaching its destination or otherwise finding its maximum distance, the water will begin to fall to the ground, cratering out the ground below and filling the area with water, causing water to spread out and cover an area 100 meters in diameter and 100 meters deep. This water will spread from its centerpoint at [Control] Speed, crashing into anything in its way with [Control] Strength. The water created from this jutsu will continue to push with the force of its suiton passive indefinitely or until the user wills it to cease, spanning out from the center of the lake.

In the early stages of her childhood, Ao exhibited a very calm and docile behavior with a high knack for picking up on just about any task. Her parents were agricultural workers by trade and had never had any shinobi in their family. As she was entered into the academy, it was discovered that the girl while not incredibly intelligent, had a knack for simply learning how to do something from watching it happen even once. Her ability to simply pick up things as though they were second nature to her was extraordinary. Soon it was decided by Ao that she wanted to become a shinobi and so she progressed onwards into the shinobi academy.

In the shinobi academy, Ao didn't perform particularly well in genjutsu, but her taijutsu skills were passable enough and she was overly adept at ninjutsu. Around this time, Ao made good friends with another shinobi by the name of Yo. Upon attempting to discover her elemental affinity, it was discovered that Ao had a bloodline mutation that had never been seen before, a mutation which gave her a natural affinity for all five basic elements. It was with this discovery that Ao began to learn very basic fundamental jutsu of the elements, easing her progress through the rest of the academy and quickly earning her a place on a genin team.

As a genin, Ao was partnered with her friend Yo as well as an Ayatori clan member named Gusa. The three of them had a Jounin instructor that would oversee their development and help to push them in the right directions. Saito would encourage each of them to experiment with the basics of what they already had, pushing what they knew to the limits to achieve greater results. It was with Saitos help that Ao would come to fully understand her unique bloodline and began to blur the lines of what each of the basic elements were capable of. Gusa and Yo were able to change the way they did things. Yo developed a doujutsu which would allow him to see chakra more clearly as it was formed, and Gusa began to experiment with imbuing his feathers with different elements.

The three of them coming along nicely as genin, it came as no surprise when they passed their Chuunin exams with relative ease, each moving on to pick up other trades, helping out the village as a whole when not needed as shinobi. The three of them made a great squad, often being kept together on mission assignments when able to do so, their teamwork being impeccable. As Chuunin, they each delved further into the shinobi arts, Ao began to learn sensory techniques, utilizing her natural affinities to observe areas with ease.

Soon, Ao would make her way into the realm of Special Jounin, specializing in sensory and defensive capabilities. Her unique talent for warping and redirecting opposing elements was highly beneficial and became a great asset to her career. Still, during these times of supposed peace and neutrality Ao spent more time at her day job, helping at the farms her parents worked at and making a decent living for herself. Soon, a conflict within the outskirts of the nation erupted just as Ao was promoted to Jounin and so her life as a peaceful farmer was over. It was during the first few months of Iwa's involvement in the conflict that Ao received the Kyorigan from Yo, her fallen friend. Not long afterwards, Ao discovered another latent ability she had yet to utilize. Fission chakra, a unique chakra property which allowed her to split rare elements into their base forms.

A woman whose gentle nature and kindness was once a mark of great leadership, had been changed. Sent out on missions she wanted no part of but had no choice but to commit to, Ao did what she always did. Her best. And Ao was the best. Her doujutsu detail and mastery of all the elements was a massive asset in any detail she was assigned to. Singlehandedly capable of taking out armies of samurai by herself or slip by unannounced and unseen to assassinate key political figures, Ao became a great tool to the Village, exceeding expectations of both the village and the Country. Many had heard the tales of the Tsuchikage's great deeds, but few outside of the elite had heard of Ao, a quiet woman who hid in the shadows. A woman who lead elite squads behind enemy lines and dismantled entire armies in the blink of an eye.

Her time in the conflict has changed her. She sees things differently now, no longer being as optimistic as she once was. This isn't necessarily a bad change, however. She has begun to question the motives of those around her. She goes about life finding out what makes people tick. She hopes to pass on her experiences to the next generation, and hopes that they will never need to use it. Ao has done an exceptional job of keeping her shinobi life quiet to prying ears. The general population doesn't even know she exists as such a beast as she prefers to keep her civilian life separate from her shinobi life.

Upon impact, the rain explodes with [Control] Strength and forms puddles of lava in the affected area. This jutsu lasts for 7 posts.

After performing the correct hand seals the user stomps the ground, causing a tidal wave of lava to burst forth 160 meters wide, 30 meters thick, and 100 meters tall. The wave will flow forward at [Control] Speed and Strength, crashing into and destroying everything in it's path for up to 160 meters before running out of power. Large puddles of lava will form every 10 meters the wave travels until impacting.

Kenji was born in the middle of winter to two young Enkouten, excited for the future. From a young age, Kenji displayed an innate affinity for manipulating Doton and its extension to the point it set him apart even among his peers. Growing up in Iwagakure, known for its rocky terrain and formidable shinobi, served Kenji and his talents well as it allowed them to blossom in an environment perfectly suited for it.

Kenji's journey as a shinobi began with the rigorous academy training in Iwagakure. His instructors recognized his potential early on, guiding him through the fundamentals of Doton and then Kouton as he entered his final year. His parents and tutors within the Enkouten clan made sure it translated to his Youton just as well. By the time he was a chuunin, the boy was well versed in all three elements.

The high points of Kenji's career were during the Catacombs and Great War. He helped the rest of the village in cleansing out the monsters hiding in the dark and establish a foothold in the underground before being quickly whisked away to the front lines once war broke out. Kenji's greatest accomplishment during the Great War was rescuing a squad who had been pinned down during the Battle of Heaven's Doorstep and extracting them all alive.

As Kenji advanced through the ranks of Iwagakure's shinobi, he undertook numerous missions that showcased the destructive force of his Youton and ability to perform even in the face of adversity. Despite the challenges he faced, Kenji remained deeply connected to his family. Similarly to how he had been tutored by the clan as a child, he took on the role of a mentor, passing on his knowledge to the next generation of Enkouten.

Physical Features:
  • Face/head: Without a doubt, the focus of Yoshito face is the slightly crazed smile that sits upon it. His mis-matched eyes, one golden orange and one aqua blue, only lend to the disturbing gaze on his face. His cheekbones are defined, his face slim and framed by his short aqua hair. Not one for looking prim or proper, he lets his hair drop into his face as much as it wants, often finding it settled straight in the middle of his forehead.
  • Body: Never having cared much for appearing physically intimidating, Yoshito has concentrated more on staying tones versus developing large muscles. While his clothes may make him seem slim, underneath he boasts a very firm and muscular body. Having no love for hand to hand combat his body remains mostly unmarred by unsightly scars.
  • Notable Features: Other than his eyes which set him apart from most of his peers, Yoshito has several tattoos across his body, specifically his biceps and his chest.
Personality: Unstable would be the truest word anyone could use to describe Yoshito. He had always been ‘off’ and the older he got the worse it got. He found no joy in childhood games or friendships as the other children his age did. Still, he followed them in his endeavors and played his own little games along the way. Just a little bit of trickery here and there, a little bit of misleading, and chaos could ensue with hardly any effort. Even when the other children no longer wished to play with him he remained undeterred, following them and continuing to play his own games. Of course, the older he got, the more interesting human behavior became. The sheep’s wool of childhood slipped off his peer’s eyes and his own childhood games became the things of nightmares. It had gotten to the point where those who knew him took a wide detour as soon as they saw him heading their way.

Yoshito fears nothing, seeing everything as an opportunity for exploring something new and exciting. Even if something may be unfamiliar or even painful to him, it can always lead to a new discovery. He hopes to one day crack the code to what makes people the way they are, even if it means cracking open a few heads in the process.

Having no interest in battling with his body, Yoshito prefers to battle with his mind. Confusion and disorientation are the two big tools in his kit and he has been known to stray from his foolproof techniques for the sake of exploring something new in the middle of battle.

Gas Mask 80:
A basic mask worn on the face, the mask is lined with a compound made up primarily of charcoal, allowing it to filter out ambient chemicals in the air aside from oxygen. Chalk Grenade:
A chalk grenade is a non-lethal tactical device designed for specialized applications. Unlike traditional explosive grenades, the primary purpose of a chalk grenade is not to cause harm but rather to disperse a cloud of chalk particles upon detonation. The outer casing of the chalk grenade is made of a durable yet lightweight material to withstand the explosive force required for dispersing the chalk payload. The grenade is designed with safety in mind, featuring a robust mechanism that ensures controlled release of the chalk and minimizes the risk of injury to bystanders.

Upon activation, the chalk grenade emits a burst of vividly colored chalk dust [15 Strength] to neutralize and neuter jutsu. Omni-Directional Movement Gear:
ODM Gear was developed as a way to allow shinobi to navigate the intense mountainous terrain without the use of chakra. Compromised of three different components, shinobi wear a specialized harness that holds the gas canisters and the mechanisms for controlling the wires. The ODM Gear itself is worn on the hips and legs, with triggers and handles to control the release of gas and the firing of the wires. The gear is powered by gas canisters, containing compressed natural gas. The user can release gas from these canisters to propel themselves in different directions up to 80 meters as the gas canisters are connected to retractable wires with sharp, anchor-like tips. These wires can be fired into structures such as buildings, trees, or mountainsides allowing the user to swing or navigate in three dimensions [20 Strength].
Soldier Pill:
Special pills developed by Iwagakure no Sato to nourish the body and heal it in the midst of combat. It is made up of powerful stimulants and nutrients that are near-instantly absorbed into the body. These stimulants and nutrients release a healing effect comparable to the lowest tier of *[Iijutsu • Mystical Palm] which affects the worst wound for 2 posts.

Once the targets hear the whistle, they will see feathers falling down, and, if the opponent realizes this is a genjutsu, they just need a Will Power stat of 15 to break out of it. If they don't break out of the genjutsu, the target will fall asleep at the end of that post.

Yoshito started life as chaotically as one could. He was born nearly two months early due to a defect in the placenta that had formed around him. The doctors had never seen anything like it and though they were able to successfully deliver him his mother did not make it through the ordeal. When the doctors handed him to his father, the man recoiled in disgust at the creature in his arms. The newborn infant was in perfect health somehow, despite being born so early and situated between his mismatched eyes was what could only be called a sneer. His father swore that Yoshito knew what he had done and though he found the name unfitting, it was the one his wife chose and he could not bear to stray from her final wish.

His father having never forgiven him for the circumstances of his birth, Yoshito did not live a peaceful life. He watched his hack of a ninja father stumble himself through low ranking missions. He watched people on the streets roll their eyes at him, making small comments under their breath about how he should just retire. And when his father returned back home from these streets he took his frustrations out on Yoshito only getting angrier and angrier when he couldn’t wipe the sneer from his boy’s face. Not even when blood dripped from his nose, leaking from his mouth, did Yoshito’s smile falter.

As soon as Yoshito was old enough, his father threw him into the academy, hoping someone there could deal with him. But what he didn’t know was that Yoshito was a totally different person at school. The other children amused him, the way they wanted to be so nice and kind to each other. He just found them to be stupid. He coasted through the academy, staying at the top of his class. Genjutsu intrigued him and he could not be deterred from learning everything about it that he could. He was eternally grateful for the teachers who introduced him to it and allowed him to begin his…social experiments.

His graduation from the academy came quickly and easily, the school glad to be rid of him. He was promptly kicked out of his father’s house, told that could earn his own living now. Yoshito didn’t care though and he did just that, quickly surpassing his father’s rank and abilities. Notably, he involved himself in every seedy endeavor he could. Playing behind the scenes, offering to help with interrogations, anything that would allow him to play with the human mind was right up his alley and he became well known in his circles for not having a line to cross. He was able and willing to do whatever was needed to get the answer he wanted.

He has little interest in ranking up for the notoriety that comes with it. Rather, the stronger he gets the bigger plans he gets to be involved with. The stronger he gets, the more he gets to play is the way that he sees it. And if the flip side of that coin is using his abilities for the betterment of Iwa than he is more than happy to play both sides.

Chalk Style particles come into contact with opposing jutsu or areas affected by an opponent's jutsu and cause the chakra to be forcibly released from the impacted jutsu, thus decreasing the overall duration of multi-post jutsu, such as area of effect techniques, and shortening the range of single post jutsu, such as direct offensive jutsu. These particles can also be condensed and drawn over fuuinjutsu, reducing their overall strength and difficulty to disarm the fuuinjutsu. After forming hand seals, the user creates a 2 meter long, six-inch radius spike of Chalk that they then launch forward up to 5 meters away at [Control] Speed and Strength. When this technique strikes an opponent or target area, it spreads additional Chalk particulates in a 3-meter x 3-meter x 3-meter cloud that will persist in the area for up to three posts. The passive debuff from this technique stacks with those of other Chalk Style techniques.

After forming hand seals, the user causes Chalk to flow into all-terrain within 25 meters of their location at [Control] Speed. This causes the terrain to become a large explosive trap, the Chalk laying just below the surface. Any pressure on the terrain that is faster than normal walking speed or that is not protected by some other form of countermeasure will trigger a blast in the area with [Control] Strength, launching Chalk particulates 10 meters into the air throughout the entire 25 meter area. This technique lasts for four posts or until otherwise triggered. The Chalk particles from this technique will persist in the area for up to four posts. The passive debuff from this technique stacks with those of other Chalk Style techniques.

By channeling katon chakra into their body, the user will release a burst of flame around their entire body, coming outwards from them. This sphere of roiling fire pushes outward with [Control speed and impacts whatever it touches with [Control] strength, the sphere extending roughly 25 meters in radius from the user's body.

The practitioner can launch projectiles in arcs up and over most obstacles, being able to accurately hit a target that is behind obstructions as if they were in the open. The practitioner must still be able to locate their target by some other means to ensure the projectile will hit its target.

The practitioner knows their own reliance on ammunition can be exploited by the enemy and prepare themselves to acclimate to less than favorable circumstances. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to effectively launch any item, so long as it possesses at least the mass of a standard kunai, as if it were meant to be a projectile weapon without sacrificing accuracy. Attacks using improvised weaponry suffer a decrease in Strength, all such attacks being treated as having -3 Strength.

By launching two projectiles, one immediately after the other, the practitioner attempts to create a decoy for the second. The first projectile is often larger or of equal size, and the second projectile is slightly behind and below it, the second projectile hiding in the first projectile's shadow. This masks the second projectile and makes it more difficult for the opponent to completely avoid. Opponents with a Perception technique equal or higher in rank may be able to see both projectiles clearly within a reasonable distance, though they'll still have to properly defend against it.

B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
After much training and study, the practitioner no longer needs to rely on their sense of sight, instead using their other senses to locate and attack targets. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to launch attacks at targets that may be behind, above, to their sides, or even behind terrain without sacrificing any accuracy without having a line of sight on their opponents. This Discipline does not allow the practitioner to ignore terrain or obstructions, merely allowing them to account for those factors when aiming and launching projectiles.

B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner is able to launch a projectile in the direct path of an oncoming solid mass attack (i.e. Doton). If the Strength of this projectile meets or exceeds the Strength of the attack it is clashing against, the attack is deflected away from the practitioner. If the projectile is only slightly weaker than the attack (-5 Strength or less), the attack is still partially deflected, though the practitioner must supplement their defense with other techniques or movements to fully avoid the attack. The practitioner must still be able to detect and track the attack in order to defend against it.

Having mastered the art of ranged combat, the practitioner is capable of calculating all outside factors before launching their projectiles. Ambient factors such as temperature, winds, moisture, any terrain, and even lack of sight on their target can not hinder their aim. So long as they have a means of detecting the location of their opponent and no impassible objects or unavoidable defenses stand in their way, the practitioner's attacks will strike their target with pinpoint accuracy without fail. Living targets must have a Perception technique equal or higher in rank to be able to perceive the practitioner's attacks without some sort of additional defense.

A-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Focusing for half a post and torquing every single muscle in their body, the practitioner concentrates on their target and launches a single, long-distance projectile attack. This attack can strike its target without losing Strength, Speed, or Accuracy up to [(Speed + Strength)/2] x 100 meters, rounded down.

This Discipline represents the practitioner's knowledge of their weapon's strengths and weaknesses in combat, allowing them to use the weapon more efficiently both inside and outside of its use in Iaido techniques and avoid unnecessarily presenting their weapon's blind spots to the opponent.

The hallmark of Iaido is its practitioners abilities to launch an attack even when their swords are sheathed. This Discipline represents the practitioner's capacity to consistently execute a sword draw and slash all in one movement by gripping the edge of the scabbard and pulling the scabbard slightly forward before drawing the sword. This Discipline enables the practitioner to immediately draw their sword and attack at the start of combat.

After practicing for a long amount of time with the concept of using both of their hands with equal skill, the user has developed a level of ambidexterity that allows them to utilize both hands equally and as effectively without any penalty. This extends to other methods of combat or simple everyday life as well.

Prerequisite(s): 8 Speed.
A simple technique meant to cripple the target's vision, the practitioner draws the sword from its scabbard and aims a quick slash at the eyes. This technique can be done in any single direction to either target one or both of the opponent's eyes.

Prerequisite(s): 8 Speed.
The practitioner has learned how to more quickly and efficiently sheath his blades. The practitioner can now seamlessly transition from drawing their blade to slash to sheathing their blade, allowing the practitioner to sheath their sword in half the time, up to a maximum speed equal to their Speed score, for the more rapid execution of Iaido techniques.

Prerequisite(s): 15 Speed.
Drawing upon the superlative speed of Iaido, the practitioner momentarily torques the muscles in their body to draw their sword from its scabbard and deliver a blindingly fast slash before sheathing their blade. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have a Perception technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. Otherwise, they cannot accurately read the attack and will be unlikely to completely avoid the attack, if at all.

*[Iaido • Shinigami’s Wrath]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 15 Speed.
A technique refining the concept of targeting multiple opponents with a single draw, the practitioner uses their sheath hand to reverse grip the hilt. Using the one hand, the practitioner quickly torques their body and cuts with a reverse hand slash a full 360 degrees before immediately sheathing the blade. This technique can strike multiple opponents at once, and the reverse grip of the sword allows the practitioner to more easily defend against counterattacks immediately after.

Prerequisite(s): 20 Strength, 25 Speed, *[Iaido • Death’s Gate], *[Iaido • Spectral Flight].
Building upon the premise established by the Death's Gate technique, this technique now makes it possible to use the technique against opponents at greater distances. Drawing upon the superlative speed of Iaido, the practitioner momentarily torques the muscles in their body to instantly accelerate to their maximum speed. Dashing a number of meters equal to the practitioner's Strength, they draw their sword from its scabbard and deliver a blindingly fast slash before resheathing their blade. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have a Perception technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. Otherwise, the opponent cannot accurately read the attack and will be unlikely to completely avoid the attack, if at all.

Utilizing this manoeuvre, the user is able to quickly draw a kunai from its holster. This is done by placing their finger through the lip of the holder and into the ring of the pommel, flicking it up and out quickly, having the kunai in the user’s hand within an instant.

D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
A technique that specializes in fighting Samurai and equalizing the battle field. The user will wait for their target to attack, and will quickly counter this by sliding the blade of their kunai onto the opponent's blade. The user will quickly move in towards their opponent while also sliding their kunai closer and closer to the opponent's hilt. This will force the angle of their blade to be raised and leaves the opponent wide open for attack.

D-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Having extensive experience with Deft Hands the user is able to manipulate a kunai within their hands and perform hand seals at full speed, without having to put down the kunai at any point.

Prerequisite: 10 Speed
A technique that relies highly on speed, the user will attempt to slap away any incoming melee strikes or projectiles with their kunai. The average of the user's speed and strength needs to be higher than the strength the projectile was thrown at, using the momentum of their own speed to deflect the strike.

*Ochiba • Spare Ribs
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
A simple, yet effective strike. Often used in correlation with Ochiba • Oaken Defense, however not required. The user simply needs to be up close, they will swing their kunai in a horizontal motion towards their opponent's rib cage, aiming for the intercostal space between the ribs and damaging any organ behind it. The user will then turn the kunai, breaking their opponents ribs.

B-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 25 Speed & Ochiba • Single Finger Draw
By drawing a kunai from its holster with the Single Finger Draw and will lunge forward, striking at their targets eyes attempting to blind them. This strike will at such a rapid speed it is almost invisible to the naked eye, slicing that very naked eye open.

Much of a human's movements are inefficient and waste energy, especially in regards to combat. The practitioner has learned how to fully synchronize and harmonize the movements of their body in and out of combat. This Discipline represents the practitioner's knowledge and mastery of kinetic linking, the efficient movement and transferal of potential energy from one part of the body to the other, eliminating potentially wasted Endurance and chakra and allowing the practitioner to last longer than ordinary in a fight.

Prerequisite(s): *[Zantou • Wolf Pack Paradigm].
The Zantou practitioner has learned to more precisely control their Endurance expenditures through the use of controlled and precise breathing. This Discipline represents the practitioner's proficiency at constantly using efficient breathing techniques both in and out of battle, further conserving Endurance and chakra. This Discipline ensures that only the exact amount of energy needed for each movement is expended, not a single iota more. This allows the Zantou fighter to endure and persist in battle long after other fighters would have passed out. This Discipline also allows the practitioner to function normally in oxygen-deprived environments, such as very high altitudes and vacuums. The practitioner can hold their breath on-demand for a number of posts equal to their Endurance stat.

The user will do a series of hand seals, then within the next post, snap their fingers. Anyone who hears the snapping will hear an explosion in the distance behind them. This works as an effective distraction, or a scare tactic, if properly utilized.

C-Ranked Status Genjutsu
This is a three post genjutsu. To start the genjutsu, the ninja does the hand seals and then whistles, anyone who hears the whistle will feel like they're being attacked from the back. It prices at their sixth sense of danger and constantly nags at them to look behind them to defend.

Graduating at the age of 11, Kitsumi had a rough time as a genin, taking on missions that had a propensity for violence and had been passed over for chuunin promotion because of her love of violence and lack of critical thinking. Her mother had handed her the sword she wears and had told her that she would need to look after it while she was gone, but that it was on loan.

After her mother died, her father said she had no right to keep it to herself and demanded she pass it to her older brother, who was not a shinobi. She blackened his eye and ran off to her own apartment, paid for by the genin wages she made.

She finally won a fight at the last chuunin exams and secured her rank, only to have it suspended for three months for sending a comrade to the hospital because she has called Kitsumi a name. The bloodstained past of this chuunin laid a solid foundation for more sadistic battles to come. She loves to fight and feels almost apathetic during times of peace.
