  • Face/head: Kazuo has long dark brown hair that is wild and predominantly unkempt. A few bangs fall over his forehead in jagged spikes and two long bangs frame the sides of his face falling down to his chest, while the rest of his hair falls down between his shoulder blades pulled into a messy and spiky pony tail. He also has a dark brown goatee growing on his chin. His eyes are a dull brown that change to a bright, glowing amber when employing his Alpha's Presence ability. Sharp, angular features give him the look of a predator which is offset by his near constant grin.
  • Body: Exceptionally tall and physically powerful, Kazuo cuts an intimidating figure. His tanned skin is covered with scars from his many battles, which only adds to the presence his muscular form gives off. Many of his extremities are double-jointed, allowing him to contort into odd shapes and angles with relative ease.
  • Notable Features: He has many scars but none truly distinctive except a dog-bite scar on the inside of his wrist and his amber eyes are only temporary.
Clothing/Accessories: Kazuo's most common outfit consists of a pair of black pants and a tight black muscle shirt that comes half way up his neck, worn under a modified version of the Iwagakure flak jacket. Completing this outfit is a pair of fingerless black gloves and a sleeveless black coat with a high collar and reaches just below his knees, the ends of which are tattered and torn. Kazuo wears his hip pouch on his left hip and his thigh holster on his right leg. Kazuo opts to wear his forehead protector across his forehead when it is required of him. He wears the piece of steel proudly, though the village insignia is often obscured by his bangs. The fabric the metal plate is attached to is a sturdy black material, the excess of which hangs down the back of his head just past his shoulders. Finally, he wears a pair of black toe-less sandals that come up above his ankles, the shin's of which are reinforced with a metal behind the fabric.

Personality:
  • General: Kazuo has gradually matured from his somewhat overactive youth. He is considerably calmer and less twitchy, able to sit still for a moderate amount of time without resorting to complaining or fidgeting. He is also a lot more confident and a lot less cocky, calmly approaching situations rather than charging in headfirst. He is still friendly, willing to give anyone a smile and a wave, even have a chat if the mood strikes, but he doesn't feel the need to talk to everyone he sees anymore. With his closer friends and family, he can still run a bit roughshod, punching people in the arm or wrapping his arm a little too tightly around their neck.

    Kazuo is more than willing to lend a hand to those that need it and tries his best to help shoulder the burdens of his close friends and family, so they never have to cope alone. Kazuo is the kind of person that would willingly put himself in harm's way if it meant keeping his friends safe. He isn't one to throw himself in danger needlessly, especially when it comes to a mission. Kazuo has a strong sense of family and would sooner see a mission failed than lose any of his comrades. His time as a Special Jounin instilled a sense of responsibility in the young man. He often finds himself attempting to soothe things over and mend bridges rather than burning them in the foolish fires of passion as he would have done in his youth.
  • Hopes/Dreams: Kazuo's dreams are in opposition with each other. He seeks to lead the pack as it's alpha, whether that is as the Tsuchikage or advising the Tsuchikage he is unsure. Despite that desire to be a leader, however, part of him seeks the freedom to wander the world and see all it has to offer before he dies, as all shinobi are want to do.
  • Fears: Kazuo fears dying for no reason. If he dies saving someone he cares about, or completing a mission of vital importance, so be it. But to die alone, with no one remembering who he is or what he has done, terrifies him. He also has a slight, not crippling but present, fear of being alone as he has always had someone around him ever since he was small and found Koji.
  • Combat Mentality: When it comes to combat Kazuo tends to prefer hit and run tactics. He is a hunter primarily, stalking his prey with his enhanced senses before moving in to take them down with combination Taijutsu alongside his canine partners.

Razorbolt
Simplistic in aesthetics, Razorbolt consists of a pair of black leather gloves and overlapping metal plates with a dark red trim to make a pair of gauntlets. They are designed in a way to allow a full range of movement of the wrists and fingers to not interrupt the hand sealing process or finer Taijutsu techniques. They serve their function of protective clothing, able to withstand impact of up to 35 strength without so much as getting a scratch, but their true purpose is in their ability to generate black metallic claws. Capable of forming up to four at a time per post per gauntlet, these claws appear as 12" long curved daggers that are sharpened on both sides and can remain attached to the gauntlets, extending to cover the fingers of the wielder as claws, or can be detached and thrown or used as hand-held daggers. If they are detached and leave the hand of the wielder, they disappear shortly after impact.

Alpha's PresenceShow
Alpha's Presence is a unique ability that allows Kazuo to impose his will upon others through nothing but sheer physical presence; he incites the primal instincts of fear that linger deep within the human psyche when faced with an apex predator. When employing his presence, Kazuo's eyes will glow a bright amber colour. This ability is used through techniques known as Sakkijutsu, Killing Intent Techniques; these techniques are not treated as Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, or Taijutsu and run off a separate pyramid dictated by Kazuo's Stamina stat that begins at C-Rank. All of these techniques are determined by a stat battle between Kazuo's Presence, the average of his Stamina and Strength, versus the opponent's Self-Control, the average of their Taijutsu and Instinct. Physical pain is also capable of breaking the effects, equivalent to Genjutsu of the same rank.

Having devoted their lives to mastering the art of taijutsu, this shinobi is classified as a Taijutsu Specialist. A taijutsu specialist is able to devote a total of 10 concentrations to taijutsu, unlike most people who are capped at 8. However, they are only able to devote a max of 5 concentrations to genjutsu, and a max of 5 concentrations to ninjutsu. As a Taijutsu Specialist, Kazuo is able to utilize taijutsu concentrations reserved for specialists. Also he is now able to ascend to God Tier [45+] on the following stats:

From a young age Kazuo has been a loveable if somewhat wild child. Growing up in the shadow of his older brother, a so-called prodigy, his parents were worried that it might affect Kazuo negatively. However, it had the opposite effect. Kazuo grew up happy, loving, relatively care free, and above all else admiring his older brother Mizuki. When it came time for him to enter the Academy, he did so without the slightest amount of hesitation. He had spent years roughhousing with his brother and cousins, so learning to fight for the village came as naturally as breathing. Of course, his care free nature led to his lacking in studies. While he aced the physical portions and was okay in the practical application of Ninjutsu, he was mediocre at best when it came to the theoretical side of his studies and his many fruitless attempts to use or even dispel anything more than an E-Rank Genjutsu were laughable. Still, he managed to graduate, scraping enough of a score together to get by on his physical and Ninjutsu skills.

It was during one of his first missions as a Genin that he would find a life-long partner in crime and combat, the wolf pup Koji. Sent to ensure that a local pack of bloodthirsty wolves had been fully put to route by the village's efforts, his group swept the forest more for experience in tracking than anything else, and Koji happened to stumble upon an injured Koji. Feeling sorry for the pup, he freed the wolf and attempted to pet him only to receive a bite to the wrist for his efforts. Kazuo, feeling sorry that the pup had lost its family and amused at its ferociousness even in defeat, took him home and began to train him.


His time as a Genin was… sporadic at best. He often jumped from team to team, none of them ever lasting very long, and got used to working with multiple partners and adjusting to different styles. He also gained a healthy independent streak, after having to perform so many missions solo given his lack of a team at times. His chance finally came to prove himself when a younger Genin was set to take the exams. Despite having only met the other Genin, they showed promise and managed to coordinate well enough to defeat their opponent. Afterwards, Kazuo took to his interview and while he at first tried to remain serious and professional he eventually gave in to his usual brash and obtuse nature. He liked fighting, he loved fighting for Iwa, and would continue to do so until the day he died regardless of rank. That attitude, along with his record as a reliable if inexperienced solo operator, got him his flak jacket.

Chuunin life for Kazuo wound up being much of the same as his time as a Genin, except with a lot more expected independence rather than forced independence. Missions run alongside only Koji, he met and dismissed many other Iwa ninja during this time period. He spent a short time as a hired-out training partner, more to keep himself from going crazy than any real desire to help train the younger generation. A lot of his time was spent honing his skills as a hunter and tracker outside the village, eventually his skills in finding his quarry and silently removing them earned him the rank of Special Jounin.

B-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Prerequisite: 35 Strength
In essence this technique is nothing more than a very powerful punch. Kazuo slams his fist into the ground at his feet with all his might, causing it to rupture and break apart into large chunks in a 5 meter diameter around him. These chunks are sent skyward at random intervals a number of meters up to his 2/3rds of his Strength for 2 posts before they fall back to the ground, allowing Kazuo to use them as stepping stones to reach higher vantage points or as projectile weapons. Anyone within range of the initial quake with less than 20 Taijutsu will find it difficult to maintain their footing and can easily get caught up in the following eruption.

B-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Prerequisite: [Heavenly Body Control]
A technique used for sudden changes of direction or controlling a descent, Kazuo kicks the air with enough force to create a shockwave centred on his position that blasts him in the opposite direction. This shockwave isn't particularly harmful, simply pushing him in a single direction for a number of meters equal to 2/3rd of his strength and at equal speed.

Prerequisite: [Close Quarters Combat]
A counter-type technique, Kazuo will wait until his opponent throws a punch or leaves themselves otherwise exposed before darting inside their guard and attempting to grapple them around their midsection. Should he succeed, he will bend backward and suplex them into the ground before he continues through with a backflip to get behind them, at which point he will deliver a kick to the opponent's exposed midsection to send them flying away from him a number of meters equal to half his strength.

A-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Prerequisite: [Heavenly Body Control]
A technique that enables a portion of Kazuo's body to become more durable for a moment. It works by Kazuo instantaneously concentrating the water in his body to a certain area, no larger than a single arm or leg, since the strongest water pressure can stop even the most powerful projectiles. This makes the affected area as strong as if it were made of a material with a Strength equal to 4/5 of his Strength. This effect only lasts for a single post.

Prerequisite: [Heavenly Body Control]
Kazuo utilizes his skill as a Taijutsu Specialist, having mastered his body and strength to the point of releasing explosive attacks, to become capable of striking more than the physical form. He can focus his strength, lashing out and hitting liquids, gasses and other elements as if they held solid form – allowing him to defend and fight against elements that would normally not be susceptible to such attacks and even strike Elemental Body users should they be made up of such things. Attacks delivered while in this stance are only applied at 3/4 of his strength and Kazuo can only maintain this form for (Stamina/10) posts at a time. Note that this doesn't protect Kazuo from the passive effects of the element; fire will still burn him on contact, lightning will still electrocute him, etc.

Prerequisite: 35 Strength, [Heavenly Body Control]
Kazuo takes a deep breath before letting out an incredibly loud and high pitched battle cry. This sound carries for a number of meters equal to Kazuo's Taijutsu/2 at a speed equal to Kazuo's 2/3rds of his Strength; the shockwave of sound strong enough to cause the ground to shake and push people, objects, and particulates back as if struck by a physical force equal to 2/3rds of Kazuo's Strength. Against people with naturally enhanced hearing or currently employing a focused hearing technique, this technique can rupture the eardrum causing bleeding and deafness.

Kōga Style:
Kazuo's preferred method of fighting is his own unique blend of acrobatic hit-and-run attacks which form the Kōga, Steel Fang, style of Taijutsu. Used on its own the style is dangerous but not deadly as it involves multiple small blows from various angles to overwhelm opponents, but when combined with Kazuo's Razorbolt gauntlets the style quickly becomes lethal.

D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Kazuo's style of hit-and-run attacks is built around two main principles, hit fast and move faster. During his attacks, he judges the minimum distance his target could attack with their arms, legs, or any melee weaponry they have and leaps to just beyond that range when his attack run is over. This allows Kazuo to jump out of harm's way and then jump right back in without much hesitation as long as his Speed is higher than his opponents.

D-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Kazuo will dash forward quickly, before moving straight past a target at full speed. Those whose (Taijutsu+Instinct)/2 is 10 or more points lower than Kazuo's Speed at the time will be unable to see what he actually did while moving past them, which was to reach out and strike them with a sharp weapon. These cuts are only shallow as they aren't meant to meet with much resistance and allow Kazuo to maintain his speed.

[Kōga Taijutsu • Pivot]
D-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
A method of avoiding a projectile attack whilst moving. Kazuo will pivot without breaking stride and, as long as his Taijutsu and Speed are high enough to react to the oncoming attack in time, step around the projectile, continuing on his original course. This allows him to maintain his original speed and level of acceleration whilst still avoiding oncoming attacks.

C-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Prerequisite: 25 Strength
A brutal and straight forward technique, Kazuo uses his sharpened claws to rip into the stomach of his target. A grazing wound here is painful but not deadly, but a sufficiently accurate hit can cause potentially lethal damage if Kazuo's Strength is 9 higher than that of the target.

[Kōga Taijutsu • Hobble]
C-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Ducking low during a charge, Kazuo hooks his claws around the back of his opponent's ankle, drawing them along to slice against the ankle's tendon. The resulting pain is enough to cause those with lesser fortitude to limp and wince whenever they apply pressure to the injured foot. Opponents with less than 10 Stamina will receive a -3 to Speed until the end of the thread or they receive medical treatment.

C-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
A directional change and take-down technique, if Kazuo is charging and needs to rapidly change directions he will leap into the air and attempt to grab onto an object. If his grab is successful his full force will then be flung around that object until he lets go, pushing off in a new direction; if the object used is an opponent with 10 or more Strength less than Kazuo's, the force will drive them into the ground.

Prerequisite: 30 Speed
Pushing his speed to his absolute limits, Kazuo will utilize this technique in order to approach his target in a manner that throws off their concentration and makes his next attack unpredictable. This approach is made more or less effective depending on the opponent's abilities.
  • 5 less Instinct+Taijutsu average than Kazuo's Speed = Kazuo's movements appear distorted as long as he continues to move at full speed.
  • 15 less Instinct+Taijutsu average than Kazuo's Speed = Kazuo becomes a complete blur as long as he continues to move at full speed.
  • 25 less Instinct+Taijutsu average than Kazuo's Speed = Kazuo is almost completely invisible as long as he continues to move at full speed.
[Kōga Taijutsu • Ferocious Assault]
B-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Prerequisite: 25 Speed
Combining his speed and his occasional ruthlessness in battle, Kazuo employs this technique to attack an opponent from all sides. Beginning with a powerful claw strike to the chest or face, he will then unleash a vicious succession of strikes on the opponent from all sides, moving rapidly around them in order to strike from multiple angles. These strikes are aimed at weak spots like the eyes, in between the ribs, the gut, the ankles, and the throat; and performed at such a speed that Kazuo becomes a veritable blur around the target.

B-Rank Taijutsu Stance
Kazuo begins to move so fast that he can create afterimages of himself. This can potentially cause an opponent to get easily confused by the afterimages so Kazuo can capitalize on an opponent's openings. The number of afterimages he can create in a single post is determined by his (Taijutsu+Speed)/5 and Kazuo can maintain this for up to Stamina/5 posts.

Prerequisite: 25 Instinct
A method of fighting that relies almost purely on instincts and focuses on the use of all of his senses together, Kazuo is able to fight and track any number of opponents in the area up to his Taijutsu/2. While fighting he delivers strikes to vital areas with pinpoint precision and brutal efficiency while remaining in a constant state of motion, using the terrain and even his opponents as points of movement.

Kazuo throws himself into a front flip, either from a standing position or whilst in the air, using the rotation to build up momentum before swinging his arms down with his fingers extended like claws. This motion creates a buzz saw-like wheel of air pressure 2 meters long and 1 meter wide. This buzz-saw of air travels in a straight line for a number of meters and at a speed equal to 2/3rd of Kazuo's strength. On impact the buzz saw cuts 4 times for his 2/3rd of his strength before it dissipates.

Kazuo has spent years refining his senses and building a style around it, enhancing his capabilities as a hunter. This style revolves around tracking and hunting like his animal companions.

[Predator's Instinct • Baseline Scent]
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
By focusing on a residual scent that has pooled in the area, Kazuo becomes able to track this scent over great distances. Residual scents are those that are slightly more intense than the natural scent of the area and are most common in light but unbandaged wounds, burnt or seared clothes and the like. Kazuo must focus on these scents but are able to perform other actions during the tracking without sacrificing any speed or dexterity, only requiring a short amount of time between movements to regain the scent. Targets must have been standing in the area Kazuo begins tracking for at least a post or a scenting object must be used such as a personal belonging. This can be used to track through other odours but high winds or going through water will lose the scent. Very strong odours or areas dense in various scents make things a little more complicated and result in either taking more concentration or plain losing the scent.

D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Males and females naturally give off different pheromones which affect their natural scent. Kazuo's sense of smell is so honed that he can determine if someone is male or female by their scent alone, though this can be more difficult if they are covering their scent with something like perfume.

Focusing on sounds around him while also keeping himself mobile, Kazuo is able to more accurately determine the origin and nature of sounds within 10 meters of him. This includes the sound of voices in the area as well as footsteps. This focus on hearing is meant to be passively utilized, though extremely noisy areas, sudden bursts of sound and things of that nature are extremely damaging in this state and often deafen Kazuo for at least a post.

Tracking his prey often requires Kazuo to be as stealthy as the people he is tracking, leading to the development of this technique. By adjusting the way, he moves and taking careful note of where he is stepping, Kazuo is capable of walking without making a sound. Only those with specialized listening techniques such as his own can hear his approach.

[Predator's Instinct • Faint Scent]
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Inhaling deeply of a specific scent and focusing on it, Kazuo becomes able to track this scent over great distances. Faint scents are the layered, complicated scents such as sweat, sparks, treated wood and oftentimes are hard to distinguish even for canines. During the tracking of these scents it is often hard for Kazuo to focus on other things and he can easily lose the scent, so avoiding combat is required. Targets must have been standing in the area Kazuo begins tracking them from for at least a post or a scenting object such as a personal object must be used to begin tracking. Water, wind and strong scents do not inhibit this level of tracking individually, but when used together they will block scent.

[Predator's Instinct • Distinct Sounds]
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Kazuo mentally takes in and registers the default sounds of an area; creaking on a boat, wind against walls, their own breathing and other sounds one would expect. By doing this Kazuo becomes more acutely aware of sounds that 'don't belong', such as footsteps in an empty room or a branch breaking in a quiet forest. The contrast of sounds is what is important here, not the type, and Kazuo can discern differences in natural sound versus those made by action in most cases unless the actions are deliberately made to sound natural. This focus on distinct sounds once again opens up the user to sonic attacks very damagingly and can often deafen the user.

Having spent so much time honing his sense of smell, Kazuo has become more attuned to the way smells can reflect the emotional state of the one who emanates them. He can tell when someone is nervous or excited, scared or happy, etc, from their scent alone.

After utilizing his nose and training his sense of smell for so long, Kazuo has become able to tap his sense of smell to its most refined and most bestial. Kazuo is able to pick out the most common scents and focus on the freshet ones in an area of 10 meters around him. By doing this Kazuo is able to tell the amount of individual humans, animals or creatures and the most intense smells of each person, including if they were injured or if they were tired by gauging sweat levels. Kazuo can then track these groups of scents with relative ease.

Kazuo has attuned his sense of hearing to the point where he can passively pick up the sound of objects moving quickly towards him out of all other sounds. This is especially useful for noticing approaching projectiles, opponents or objects advancing at high speed. By picking up the direction of the sounds, he is also capable of back tracking them to their rough point of origin. Even though he can process this information it is useless if Kazuo's Taijutsu and Speed are not high enough to react, but it does allow for him to avoid surprise attacks.

Having spent years honing the art of silently stalking his prey, Kazuo has learned to naturally adjust the way he moves to remove any distinguishable noise even when moving at top speed. Those with enhanced hearing will still be able to make out the sound of his approach whilst moving at top speed, but should he slow to a walk he will become completely undetectable by sound even to himself.

A-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
By using his enhanced senses of smell and hearing, Kazuo is able to act as a type of natural lie detector by detecting the faint change in a person's heartbeat and scent due to perspiration when a lie is told. This is rendered ineffective against those who have an A-Rank or higher technique to fool Kazuo's senses, or those who do not have a heart beat or sweat glands (i.e. Elemental Body).

By giving equal focus to all of his senses rather than relying primarily on his sight as most human's do, Kazuo gives himself an edge in combat. As long as his (Taijutsu + Instinct)/2 is greater than the opponents' Speed or Taijutsu Kazuo is able to predict nearly all strikes aimed at him so long as he is able to perceive them coming, whether by sight, sound or scent, and then react to them as necessary.

Using the unique shape of the claw-like blades created by his Razorbolt, Kazuo can throw them in such a fashion that they seemingly change direction midflight. Rather than flying in a straight line they travel in a 90-degree arc, curving to the left or right before coming back in to the point Kazuo was aiming at.

C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Less of an active technique and more of a passive skill. Kazuo has developed his skills with throwing weapons to the point that he can throw a kunai or shuriken as powerful and accurate from random positions as he could from a standing base. This allows him to attack at full strength whilst remaining mobile, while defending, or recovering from a fall.

C-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Kazuo preps and throws two weapons, either shuriken or kunai, in the same motion from the same hand but with a slight delay between the release. The second blade travels slightly under the path of the first, hidden in its shadow. As long as Kazuo's Taijutsu is equal to or higher than the target's Taijutsu or Instinct, the second blade will remain hidden from sight, outside of specialized perception techniques.

A simple discipline that allows Kazuo to utilize as many small projectiles as he can fit in his hands, throwing them all in the same motion without losing any accuracy or strength to the attacks.

A discipline for reading the movements of his targets and predicting where they will be, Kazuo can aim his attacks so that they will land where they will be and not where they are or use the knowledge in order to guide his strikes to land around them and attempt to corral the target in the direction he chooses.

Prerequisite: [Shadow Shuriken], [Omni Wield]
Filling his hands with shuriken or kunai, Kazuo begins tossing them with unerring accuracy into the air. The exact number and direction are difficult to gauge, requiring an Instinct or Taijutsu higher than Kazuo's Taijutsu, as the number and throwing techniques results in most of the blades being hidden in the shadow and motion. After a moment they will begin to rain down on an area within (Strength/2) meters, covering a 5-meter diameter, at full Strength and Speed.

Kazuo has trained extensively in order to be able to use his body to the fullest, including throwing weapons in odd fashions. Whether it is using his toes, a kick, a punch, even jerking his elbow or knee at odd angles or using his mouth, Kazuo can use most any part of his body to throw a blade with his full strength and accuracy.

Kazuo has learnt to passively put more power into his throws without losing accuracy. His attacks with thrown projectile weapons can reach as far as his Strength*10 meters.

By taking a full post to first build up power and torque, Kazuo can unleash powerful throws with a single projectile weapon that can travel a number of kilometers equal to his ([(Taijutsu+Strength)/2]/5). This stance requires Kazuo to remain firmly planted and cannot be used in conjunction with techniques that use multiple projectiles at once. If his stance is broken, he must take a full post to set it again.

Kazuo focuses his will on a single target he makes eye contact with, locking their gaze with his own. If the target has a lower Self Control ([Taijutsu+Instinct]/2) than Kazuo's Presence ([Strength+Stamina]/2), it will cause them to fixate upon Kazuo's eyes and be unable to move for 3 posts. During this time, Kazuo must maintain constant eye contact, and any movements must be made at half speed to achieve this. Any aggressive action on Kazuo's part will break the trance.

Prerequisite: [Killer Intent]
While Kazuo is radiating any rank of his Killer Intent, he can make his presence seem larger, causing the feeling of panic he exudes to expand an additional 0.5 meters for every point of his Presence ([Strength+Stamina]/2), which lasts until the end of the original technique. However, doing so costs him more energy than usual, reducing his overall Presence by 10 and reducing the effectiveness of any Sakkijutsu currently in effect.

While employing one of his Killer Intent techniques, Kazuo can rein in his Presence to a certain extent, doing so however takes focus. For each creature he choses to not subject to his Killer Intent, Kazuo suffers -3 to his Instinct. He can maintain this for as long as his Killer Intent remains active.

Kazuo focuses the area of his Killer Intent, reducing it to an area 5 meters around him. Those affected by it will find themselves instinctively reacting to the Flight response of Fight or Flight, and be overwhelmed by the urge to run as far from Kazuo as they possibly can in the opposite direction. This effect lingers for 1 post after they leave the area of his Killer Intent.

By first taking the sides of a target's head in his hands, Kazuo will attempt to make eye contact with them. Should they look into Kazuo's eyes, if their Self-Control ([Taijutsu+Instinct]/2) is lower than his Presence ([Strength+Stamina]/2), they will find themselves unable to look away while a feeling of subservience fills them. While Kazuo maintains physical contact with the target, they will suffer -3 to their Instinct per post, allowing Kazuo to better interrogate them. The reduction to their Instinct stacks per post, resulting in -9 by the third post, at which point the technique ends.

B-Rank Sakkijutsu
Prerequisite: [Killer Intent]
Kazuo dedicates a portion of his chakra to maintaining his Killer Intent technique. For as long as he wishes, he can maintain the Killer Intent technique of any rank indefinitely but in doing so he suffers -3 to his Stamina immediately and then -1 for every post beyond the original length. This debuff continually stacks, gradually weakening the effect of his Presence, in return for not having to pay the full cost of another use of his Killer Intent.

A-Rank Sakkijutsu
Kazuo lets out a roar infused with his Killer Intent; any creature that is aware of Kazuo within 25 meters of his position and can hear will be affected by this technique. Should their Self-Control ([Taijutsu+Instinct]/2) be lower than Kazuo's Presence ([Stamina+Strength]/2), they will be filled with a sudden sensation of pure fear. Those affected will be unable to willingly move closer to Kazuo and their Taijutsu will be reduced by 3 as their body shakes in natural response to fear. These effects last 3 posts.

Once an agreement has been made between the user and their summon, they will be able to use this technique to call upon it at any time unless stated otherwise. The chakra used for this technique varies, as it is dependent on the size and rank of what is being summoned. Once it has been summoned, the user will experience a constant drain on their chakra for as long as the summon is in place. This drain is also dependent on the size and rank of the summon.

During this time, he can soften any natural earth or self-made doton construct he touches, making it more malleable but only in the area he touches directly. Once he takes his hand away, the moulded object solidifies once more and retains its original strength but in its new shape.

After performing the necessary hand seals, Kazuo will press his hands against a non-living object no larger than 2m3 and cause stone to grow from it at a speed of 6. Once formed, this stone looks like a natural rock or boulder and has a strength of 4, with no outside indication of what is within.

After performing the necessary hand seals, Kazuo will press his hands to the ground and channel doton chakra into a point within 5 meters of his position. He can then create 5 panels of stone, each being 3m2 and 3 inches thick, at a speed and strength of 1 in any formation. Each panel must be adjoined with at least one other panel.

After performing the necessary hand seals, Kazuo will channel doton chakra into the ground, creating up to five 5mx2mx1m trenches anywhere within 20 meters of his position. These trenches form at a speed of 10.

After performing the necessary hand seals, Kazuo will cause a 5m long, 10m wide hole to open in the ground at 5 speed at any point within 10 meters of his position. This hole is 5m deep and the walls have a strength of 15, making it tough to break into, along with being completely smooth and saturated with chakra, preventing those caught within from climbing the walls with the [Basic Jutsu • Act of Tree Climbing].

[Doton • Erupting Earth]
C-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, Kazuo will press his hands to the ground and open a point within 10 meters of his position. From this hole an eruption of dirt will spray into the air with 10 speed in a 5-meter radius around it. It continues to churn out dirt for 3 posts, maintaining the cloud for the duration, at which point the dirt will settle and the hole will close. The dirt cloud reduces visibility to only a few feet while within and blocks regular sight into it.

[Doton • Pass Through Stone]
C-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, Kazuo will channel doton chakra into an earth formation he is touching, opening a pathway from one side to the other. This pathway is no larger than the average door and forms at a speed of 10. If the earth was created by Doton not cast by Kazuo, he must have higher control than the original creator in order to create the pathway. The pathway only lasts for 5 posts, at which point the earth will seal over again, crushing whatever is still within.

After performing the necessary hand seals, Kazuo will press his hands on any earthen ground, channelling doton chakra into it allowing them to lower or raise any 5x5 meter segment of the ground within 15 meters at a speed of 30 and strength of 10. The maximum distance the segment can be lowered or raised is 20 meters. The user must keep their palms on the ground during the course of the jutsu. If they remove their palms at any time, the jutsu will end and they will not be able to raise or lower it any further without redoing the technique.

[Doton • Earth Hound Tracking Fang]
B-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, Kazuo press his hands to the ground, creating a wolf from earth and stone that has a speed and strength of 20 that Kazuo controls, requiring him to remain stationary for the 3 post duration. Capable of biting, tearing, and clawing as a normal hound is, when Kazuo breaks the connection or at the end of its duration, the wolf solidifies into a statue and holds whatever it is currently grabbing with its original strength permanently.

[Doton • Spike Trap Execution]

Prerequisite: 24 Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, Kazuo will focus his chakra into a cave/pit/wall/tunnel within 30 meters of his position that he is aware of. From the walls, covering up to a 15m3 area, 25 spikes will erupt with a speed of 28 and a strength of 20, varying in size depending on the affected area, but no larger than 1 meter wide at the base and 5 meters in length.

A-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, Kazuo will gather doton chakra at a point within 15 meters of his position, creating a 7 meter tall, 5 meter wide, 4 meter long hollow stone statue of a liondog that lasts for 5 posts. This statue is incapable of moving from its place of creation but can attack using its forepaws or upper body out to 3 meters with a speed of 20 and has a strength of 30. Anything it captures within its mouth, including Ninjutsu, projectiles, or living beings, are 'swallowed' and thrust into a 20 meter deep cavern below the statue's position, as wide and long as it is. At the end of the 5 posts, the statue closes its mouth and becomes inert, cutting off any air supply to whatever was caught unless they can break free.

[Doton • Multiple Earth-Style Wall]
A-Rank Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, Kazuo causes 4 spots of ground within 20 meters of him to erupt upwards at 10 speed into 10x10x3 meter large stylized walls. These 30 strength walls have pillars on either end and multiple wolf heads in the centre.

General Information

Appearance: Koji is an extremely large wolf with three-tone fur, the top from muzzle to tail is a dark chocolate brown, there is a layer of a slightly lighter shade of brown and then his jaw, underbelly, legs, and the bottom of his tail are tan in colour. High chakra reserves and constant exposure to chakra has resulted in Koji's growth to astronomical sizes for an otherwise normal animal. The ninken stands a little over half as tall as the average human while on all fours at 4'1" and his length is closer to 10 feet, adding his considerable weight of 230 lbs due to muscle mass and Koji is as lethal as any apex predator.

Personality: Koji isn't particularly friendly towards others. In fact, unless Kazuo is around to rein him in, his 'playing' can often descend into an all-out brawl full of teeth and claws. While this was cute as a pup, he is considerably larger and more dangerous nowadays. The runt of his litter, Koji has issues with authority, only respecting Kazuo as the young man has proven his strength and superiority as alpha on more than one occasion. He completely disregards orders given to him by anyone other than Kazuo unless Kazuo has given him explicit instructions to listen to them.

A variation of the Act of Tree Climbing technique, this jutsu requires the user to focus a precise and balanced amount of charka into the soles of his/her feet. By doing so, the user is able to walk on the surface of water as though it were a solid surface. Users with low control 2 or lower are much more likely to fall through the surface of the water, while users with average control 3 or higher will be able to use this technique functionally. It lasts for a number of posts equal to the user's stamina stat.

His speed and strength must be high enough to bother intercept the speed of the attack and counter the strength it was thrown with. If successfully captured, Koji can throw the projectiles back with his own Strength using only his jaw and head.

Koji, having spent as many years as he has alongside his master, can understand Kazuo with barely any need for active communication. He can read Kazuo's body language instinctually and react accordingly, allowing them to operate as a single unit without taking the time to give commands.

After successfully getting hold of an extremity of his opponent, Koji will leverage his entire weight and strength against the socket, attempting to rip the extremity from the rest of the body. If his strength is at least 5 higher than the opponent's he can usually succeed in dislocating the joint, if his strength is 10 higher than he is usually successful in ripping the extremity off, barring odd circumstances.

After drawing blood and gaining the scent of the target, Koji homes in on the scent and relentlessly pursues it through rain, dense woodlands, even rivers so long as it remains within 500m of his position. Koji gains +3 speed at the cost of -3 instinct due to the single-minded nature of his pursuit. This lasts until the wound is healed or sufficiently covered and the blood is completely removed from the target.

C-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Koji approaches his target at maximum speed, darting rapidly from left to right during the approach in an attempt to confuse the target and avoid a counter attack. Once in range he will leap at the target, aiming to use the momentum of the charge and his Strength to knock them down. If this is successful Koji will unleash a flurry of bites and scratches to take full advantage of the situation and end the fight quickly.

[Marōtsume Taijutsu • Whiplash]
C-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
A directional change and take-down technique, if Koji is charging and needs to rapidly change directions he will leap into the air and attempt to grab onto an object with his maw. If his grab is successful his full force will then be flung around that object until he lets go, pushing off in a new direction; if the object used is an opponent with 10 or more Strength less than Koji's, the force will drive them into the ground.

A technique used for brutal efficiency and relying on primal instinct. Koji begins by snapping down on any point he can gain leverage on his target. If his strength is higher than that of the target he will toss them from side to side by throwing them into the air a number of meters determined by the difference between his Strength and their own. Whilst vulnerable and in the air, Koji will jump up to them and attempt to bite their throat. If successful and Koji's strength is at least 10 higher than that of his target's, he can completely completely tear away their throat. If his strength is higher than the target's by 9 or less, this bite still causes profuse bleeding of the carotid artery.

History Born as the runt of four pups, Koji has always had to fight a little harder to get the things that come easily to his siblings. As a result, he became rough and wild long before he was introduced to Kazuo. Kazuo found Koji during one of his first missions as a Genin, acting on reports of wild animals attacking and killing villagers. The rest of the wolf pack had been killed by the locals using traps but they asked for a simple but thorough search of the nearby woods to ensure none of the beasts remained. Kazuo found Koji injured and doing his best to survive, Koji reacted on instinct when the human went to pat him, biting the underside of Kazuo's wrist hard enough to draw blood and eventually scar. Despite that, Kazuo still picked Koji up and pat him with a laugh, encouraging the wild puppy to never let anyone get him down. They've been together ever since.

Appearance: Tsuyu's current appearance is a result of the experimentation she has undergone. A wolf of fairly standard size standing at 2'3" at the shoulder and being perhaps 4 feet in length, she has a very unique coat of pure black fur with distinct white patterns that look more akin to seals than naturally occurring shapes.

Personality: Tsuyu is an extremely intelligent and well-trained beast. Calm and composed with very little sign of bloodlust or unruliness, she follows the commands of her alpha to the letter. When not working she is incredibly playful and affectionate, demanding the attention of those around her, but always seems to have an ear out for trouble.

A result of experimentation to make a more efficient hunting animal, Tsuyu's genetic structure was altered and combined with a great many things in order to create an apex predator capable of being unseen. She can turn invisible for a number of posts equal to her Stamina/3, after which she will return to the visible spectrum and must wait for a number of posts equal to half the time she was invisible before she can switch again. While invisible, Tsuyu's speed is limited by her Taijutsu and moving faster than that stat will cause the invisibility to break prematurely.

A variation of the Act of Tree Climbing technique, this jutsu requires the user to focus a precise and balanced amount of charka into the soles of his/her feet. By doing so, the user is able to walk on the surface of water as though it were a solid surface. Users with low control 2 or lower are much more likely to fall through the surface of the water, while users with average control 3 or higher will be able to use this technique functionally. It lasts for a number of posts equal to the user's stamina stat.

Tsuyu's light steps and padded paws make little sound when she is walking. This isn't a specific way of actively moving and more a natural by-product of her training, requiring little to no effort on her part to maintain it. Moving any faster than a walk while break the silence and advanced hearing technique can pick up on her footsteps even when walking.

After drawing blood and gaining the scent of the target, Tsuyu homes in on the scent and relentlessly pursues it through rain, dense woodlands, even rivers so long as it remains within 500m of his position. Tsuyu gains +3 speed at the cost of -3 instinct due to the single-minded nature of her pursuit. This lasts until the wound is healed or sufficiently covered and the blood is completely removed from the target.

After successfully taking out a target, Tsuyu has been trained to move the body out of immediate vision in as quiet a manner as possible. Impossible to completely muffle the body, she knows how to move it in such a way that it reduces the noise it makes without reducing her speed to a complete crawl.

Tsuyu can remember every scent she has ever come across. Not effective in itself, it does allow her to more easily pick out scents she has come across before when applying her other techniques, reducing the time it takes to track down a particular scent.

Tsuyu lays down and plays dead, slowing her heartbeat and breathing to the point where upon a basic initial inspection she actually appears as if she is dead. Tsuyu can only maintain this for a length of time equal to her Stamina/5 posts.

Tsuyu has been trained to use every part of her body to overcome obstacles that would normally be an issue for a four-legged beast. Balancing on her hind legs, using her teeth to swing, and in general being fairly nimble, Tsuyu can climb walls as long as it isn't completely sheer, open doors as long as they aren't locked, contort her way through spaces she wouldn't normally be able to fit through, etc.

Tsuyu has been trained to throw her growl up to 10 meters. She can bark or growl in such a manner that it sounds as though it is coming from a direction she chooses within that range. Advanced hearing techniques equal to or higher than the rank of this technique can discern the true source of the noise.

B-Rank Taijutsu Stance
Tsuyu's padded paws make very little noise as she moves while in this stance, regardless of whether she is walking or running. Enhanced hearing techniques that equal or beat the rank of this technique can pick up her movements, however.

[One With Nature]
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Tsuyu moves in such a manner that she leaves very little to no natural trail to follow. Light steps, gravitation towards highly trafficked areas or harder surfaces, and as little interaction with the environment as possible are all portions of this mindset. The result is a permanently cold trail, regardless of the terrain type. It would take a very skilled tracker using a technique with equal or higher rank than this to follow Tsuyu.

[Heartbeat Monitor]
A-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
Tsuyu stops moving and slows her own heartbeat while extending her sense of hearing, allowing her to pick up the faint sound of heartbeats within a 50-meter radius. This technique requires Tsuyu to be completely still in order to drown out the sound of her own heartbeat and thus cannot move while she is using it.

Combing her acute hearing and sense of touch, Tsuyu can feel any vibrations that are moving through the ground within a 25-meter radius. Things that aren't moving or have the capacity to move without disturbing the ground are missed by this sense.

Tsuyu's senses of sight, hearing, scent, taste, and touch are so far beyond normal ranges that they could be considered supernatural. She can track a scent easily over 2 miles under even the worst conditions and has a keen enough nose to be able to pick out what should be an odourless, colourless poison from a glass of water. Her sense of touch is so keen she can feel the movement of things around her through the vibrations they make and can locate the precise point a pin drops in a factory from the sound alone.

History Tsuyu is the result of Kazuo wishing to broaden his pool of options when hunting down prey. Asking for assistance from the scientists of Iwa, they created Tsuyu. All the predator instincts of a wolf with the training of a ninken and the chakra-fuelled ability to turn completely invisible, fuelled by a combination of frog, chameleon, and many other creatures' genes. Kazuo spent months working with the wolf in order to train her into a decent military animal, after which was another two years before she was capable of using her unique genetic ability on her own without assistance from Kazuo. The result was a bond that near matched Kazuo and Koji, making the three a well-oiled machine capable of hunting down even the most elusive of prey.
