Typically, his hair is secured in a high ponytail, which not only keeps his vision clear during combat but also highlights the sharpness of his androgynous features. It has a simple white cord wrapped around the hilt, a gold-plated pommel and guard, and a sheath made of stained redwood. The blade is twenty-six inches in length while the hilt is eight inches in length. This blade is inscribed with Hatsuyuki's Ancient Runes for Tempest Blade, and Wind Blade on to the katana. Tempest Blade embodies the fury of a stormy sea within the precise strikes of Suijin Kenjutsu. The practitioner channels chakra through their blade, creating arcs of water that resemble crashing waves with each swing. These arcs of water enhance the cutting power of the blade, slicing through defenses with the force and unpredictability of a tempest. By channeling their Fuuton chakra into their sword, the user is able to create a crescent shaped projectile blade when the sword is swung. The projectile is three feet in length, and four inches at it's widest point, and tapers off towards the ends of the crescent shape. This Rune allows the user to set a static [Speed], [Strength], and distance travelled for the blades created by this Rune.

The Bloodfrost Shard is a sixteen-inch crystalline blade that gleams with an icy, blood-red hue. The hilt of Bloodfrost Shard is made of the same blood-red crystal as the blade and is eight inches in length. The shape of the blade is modeled after a standard kunai, though there are three spikes surrounding the circular pommel. Serrated hooks line both edges near the guard, crafted for precise piercing and rending, dealing even greater damage as the blade is withdrawn. When dormant, it manifests as a crimson, blood-drop sigil etched on Yurei’s forehead. The blade is telepathically controlled and moves with a [Speed] of 25. The [Strength] of the Bloodfrost Shard is 25.

The true danger of the Bloodfrost Shard lies in the deadly Bloodfrost Poison. Victims cut or impaled by the Bloodfrost Shard will find their muscles seizing and their blood chilling, suffering a -4 penalty to their [Speed] and [Strength] stats, leaving them at the mercy of Yurei's blade. This penalty lasts for eight posts, or until cured.

Sword Qi is a unique Ninpou release that holds the Serration passive. This unique release causes all of its techniques to be iron grey in color, and allows them to cut their targets multiple times.

This gives Sword Qi a unique opportunity to strike with additional power, and to act as a offensive defense. Regardless of their purpose Sword Qi jutsu passively cut multiple times with a serrated pattern at 1/4 the strength of the technique rounded down unless otherwise stated. This means if someone punched a 20 strength Sword Qi wall, they would get multiple cuts on their hand applied with 5 strength each. This also means that Sword Qi jutsu specifically designated to cut things can create devastating wound by essentially striking thrice.

Sensor
Sensors are shinobi who are able to activate a sixth sense which can locate and read chakra sources. Sensory is advantageous as it allows shinobi to perceive without using any of their conventional senses, which can easily be deceived. Sensors are able to collect a lot of information through the interpretation of this sixth sense.
Adv Channeling:
This user has superb chakra control, and has learned to perform jutsu by channeling, without the use of hand seals. The user can channel any Ninjutsu that is designed to be channeled, and there are no specified parameters in which a jutsu must fall to be channeled by this method.

Hyouton has the ability to dynamically cool anything, rapidly decreasing the temperature of entities and areas via techniques and producing effects such as freezing, frostbite, and hypothermia. The temperature decrease, and the area they can decrease, is determined by the Control of techniques, with more talented Aisu able to create snap freezes that can kill with ease.

Suiton's effect is enveloping, meaning that suiton passively surrounds anything that it makes contact with. Suiton techniques that do not last over periods of times (i.e, exploding techniques) drench their opponents, but long term techniques will envelop anything they come in contact with and maintain a hold on it with the 3/4th strength of the technique, rounded down. This means that if a suiton wave is shot forward with 17 strength, it will envelope and move anything with it that does not have more than 12 strength to resist it. This allows Suiton to fill a very powerful role in eliminating tools from opponent's access and capturing targets.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will focus chakra into their mouths and into up to five senbon within 10 meters of their position. The senbon will be summoned from their persons or nearby into the user's mouth, where they will be spit out aided by chakra at [Control] Strength and Speed. The senbon can be shot up to 10 meters away.

First performing handseals, this sensor jutsu is used by shinobi to feel chakra sources within a radius of 35 meters. While this jutsu is fairly helpful in sensing chakra, it is unable to actually pinpoint specific chakras outside of a 10m radius. This only gives the Shinobi an idea of how many entities with chakra are present in their general area.

After forming the required hand seals, the user stomps on the ground in order to send a wave of their Hyouton chakra outwards in a circle. This chakra fills the ground 10m around the user, and, within the next 4 posts, the user is able to cause spikes of ice to erupt from the ground with a speed and strength of [Control] by performing Kai.

By channeling their Hyouton chakra into sword, the user is able to create a crescent shaped projectile blade when the sword is swung. The projectile is three long, and four inches at it's widest point, and tapers off towards the ends of the crescent shape. The blade moves with a [Speed] and [Strength] equal to the user's [Control]. These blades can travel up to [Control] meters before breaking apart.

The user will thrust a hand forward while preparing this technique, forming a set of five senbon in front of their fingertips. The senbon can be collectively fired at any time over the next three posts at [Control] speed to hit with [Control] strength.

The user channels a thin current of cooling hyouton into the air around them, mixing and weaving it around the warmer natural air to create a localised pressure differential and natural gusting wind. This can be used to push at and deflect airbourne entities within 10 metres of the user with [Control] strength, however is believed to be one of the oldest forms of hyouton ninjutsu ever devised by the ancient Aisu, who used it in a non-combat manner to master the waves and sail the oceans at speed.

This process was meticulously planned, with the decision made to raise Yurei as an infant to allow him to grow naturally and become the ideal doppelganger of his predecessor. His early years, spent under the care of Hatsuyuki's parents, were the only time in his life that bore any semblance of normalcy. However, the weight of his true purpose loomed over him. His childhood was not for personal development or joy; it was merely a brief pause before the true path of rigorous training would begin.

As soon as Yurei was able to walk, he was handed over to Hatsuyuki, his true guardian and mentor, and his life of relentless training began. Unlike most children, Yurei's formative years were not filled with play or leisure but with the honing of his body and mind to become the ultimate swordsman. From dawn until dusk, his life was consumed by physical training, where his body was pushed to its absolute limits. He was taught to endure pain, to overcome the exhaustion that would cripple most, and, perhaps most crucially, to sacrifice anything for victory. Yurei's swordsmanship was marked by a willingness to trade injury for injury, a ruthless tactic ingrained in him by Hatsuyuki. Each sparring session was a test of his endurance and resolve, as he accepted pain as part of the process of mastering his art. Cuts and bruises were constant, and his scars became badges of honor, evidence of his determination to succeed no matter the cost.

This mentality continued into his time at Kirigakure’s ninja academy, where Yurei’s approach to training remained as relentless as ever. The most defining feature of his exile is the intricate tattoo around his neck—a permanent mark in the shape of frost, a symbol of the Aisu clan's rejection. This tattoo serves as a grim reminder of the life he lost, forever branding him as an outcast in the eyes of his clan. His lips, cruelly sewn shut with dark, coarse threads, form a harsh line across his face, leaving only enough slack for him to eat. These threads prevent him from speaking, a punishment designed to rob him of his voice and identity. Though his mouth is silenced, his eyes tell a different story—piercing sapphire-blue, filled with both sorrow and an unyielding resolve. They glint with the remnants of his former pride, though they are now veiled by the burden of servitude.

Ameno’s hair, long and tangled, spills like ink around his face and down his back, unkempt from years of neglect. His body, though thin, still carries the agility of his past, his movements efficient yet understated as he carries out his duties to Yurei. The frostbitten appearance of his tattooed neck contrasts against his pale skin, a haunting reminder of his past, though his exile has stripped away the dignity that once came with his icy lineage. Draped in tattered, simple clothing, his attire reflects his status—a far cry from the rich garments he might have once worn. His hands are deft, carrying out tasks with practiced ease, though there’s a tremor in his fingers, the weight of his silent suffering ever-present. Despite his outward decay, Ameno remains unwavering in his devotion to Yurei, bound by duty, even in his exile.

Personality:

Ameno's personality is defined by unwavering loyalty and a cold, detached sense of purpose. As Yurei's manservant, he is devoted to his master's every need, performing his duties with meticulous care. He takes his role as Yurei's butler with the utmost seriousness, ensuring that every aspect of Yurei’s daily life runs smoothly. Whether preparing meals, maintaining the household, or attending to the smallest of tasks, Ameno works with quiet efficiency, never questioning or hesitating. His dedication borders on self-sacrifice—he is fully prepared to lay down his life at Yurei's command, his very existence tied to the will of his master.

However, this calm and obedient demeanor hides a much darker side. In battle, Ameno is a different person altogether. He becomes a merciless, sadistic force, delighting in the suffering of his enemies. His Genjutsu is his weapon of choice, allowing him to mentally torment his opponents in ways that bring him a perverse sense of satisfaction. He relishes in their confusion and fear, drawing out the pain for as long as possible before delivering the final blow. In these moments, the same quiet precision he displays as a servant transforms into a calculated cruelty, making him a terrifying presence on the battlefield. Despite his brutality in combat, Ameno remains controlled and focused, never allowing his sadistic tendencies to interfere with his loyalty to Yurei. By fusing together :suiton: Suiton [Water Element] and :fuuton: Fuuton [Wind Element], members of the Aisu clan are able to create and use :hyouton: Hyouton [Ice Element] to produce an active cooling effect. Hyouton is a non-traditional element without physical substance by itself, however can be combined with other physical media to produce a variety of results. Users with the Suiton concentration can further recombine it with Hyouton to directly create solid ice as part of a technique. Hyouton occupies one Concentration Slot, and can only be taken by members of the Aisu clan.
Active Effect: Cooling:
Hyouton has the ability to dynamically cool anything, rapidly decreasing the temperature of entities and areas via techniques and producing effects such as freezing, hypothermia, and frostbite (e.g. numbing, blistering, swelling, shivering, loss of co-ordination, necrosis). The magnitude, speed, and extent of the temperature decrease is determined by the Control of technique, with more talented Aisu able to create snap freezes that can kill with ease.

This genjutsu is initiated after the user forms a set of hand seals and whistles. Those who hear the whistle experience a sensory effect where the target hears faint whispers coming from seemingly empty spaces. These whispers are purely auditory. The effect lasts for three posts.

*[Genjutsu • Burning to Death]
C-Ranked Illusion Genjutsu
This is a genjutsu technique which can be used in quite a few ways. The user forms a hand seal, and as long as the opponent(s) see it, then the genjutsu will begin. The user and the opponent(s) will both light on fire and start to burn, from the feet up to the head, in the opponent's mind. The opponent will normally start to panic and try to get rid of the fire, especially since they feel as if they were in actual pain. This genjutsu lasts for 4 posts and will not appear to be able to be extinguished, no matter what the victim does. The illusion is very static, in the sense that it doesn't change with the environment, it merely creates an illusory flame and pain.

C-Ranked Status Genjutsu
The user does the needed hand seals, and then locks eyes with the target to trap the target in the genjutsu. For the next 10 posts, any pain that the target feels as if nothing really happened, effectively lessening all pain and nerve responses. The target would still be damaged, but any damage done to them would feel as though it is far less severe than it actually it, and as such they will usually overestimate their own stamina.

History Shizoku was once Ameno of the Aisu clan, a Genin with promise—not a prodigy, not exceptional, just above average in a family that expected excellence. Unlike his kin, who prided themselves on their mastery of Hyouton, his talent lay elsewhere: Genjutsu. From the moment he was introduced to illusions, Ameno excelled—not because of technical skill, but because he had a natural cruelty that made his Genjutsu more effective than most. He relished the moment his opponents faltered, the hesitation in their eyes when the mist clouded their vision, the discomfort as whispers crept into their ears, the panic when they believed their bodies were burning alive. He didn’t use Genjutsu to gain an advantage—he used it to break people. Even his fellow clan members.

Then he went too far.

No one speaks openly about what he did, but the punishment was swift and absolute. Some say he pushed a sparring session too far, that he refused to release an illusion even as his opponent screamed. Others claim he tormented a clan member of higher status—someone the elders could not ignore. Whatever the truth, his fate was sealed. Ameno was stripped of his name, his standing, and his future as a shinobi.

He was forbidden from ever using Hyouton, his bloodline sealed as part of his punishment. His lips were sewn shut, a permanent mark of disgrace, ensuring he would never again speak freely. His new title, Shizoku, was not a name—it was a reminder that he was no longer a warrior, no longer Aisu. He was now a servant, bound to Aisu Yurei, his life no longer his own. He still possesses his Genin-level Genjutsu—simple, low-ranked illusions that obscure, confuse, and unsettle. No intricate layers, no powerful mind-breaking techniques, just the basics, learned before his fall. But basics, in cruel hands, can be just as dangerous. Now, he moves silently through the halls, his presence barely acknowledged. He cleans, serves, and obeys. A Genin once feared for his ruthlessness, now reduced to nothing. But if Yurei ever commands him to fight, his enemies will find themselves lost in mist, tormented by whispers, and reaching for a reality that is no longer certain.
