[Physical Description]
At 18 years old, Mariya stands at approximately 178cm and 68kg with what could best be described as an acrobatic olympian build. While not lacking in femininity, her shape leans more into sporty athleticism fit of a trained human weapon.
Mariya's face has sharp features and a feline quality. Her eyes are almond-shaped with dark black irises- a trait from her unknown mother along with her fair skin. Her hair frames her face with jet-black bangs and a pony-tail tied up in the back. She has a button nose and above-average thickness lips. Her overall facial features and bone structure appear similar to her paternal genetic base, Nakajima Hayate. Notably, Mariya has two cowlicks on either side of her forehead that cause her bangs to "stand up".
[Personality] Mariya likes law and order. She likes patterns- and she loves when things go according to a plan. A lot of this is the result of her cold upbringing under Banri Tada in the black ops- which left her severely impaired with processing emotions or dealing with the unexpected. After a few years of rehabilitation and integration into the village under the Raikage's orders however she has become increasingly more adept at understanding others to a point of being near normal... the only peculiarities left being her sometimes "off color" behavior such as laughing when others are crying.
Mariya has a competitive spirit and hopes to become the strongest shinobi in the village, surpassing her own genetic father, Nakajima Hayate. She fears becoming warped and bitter like the man who raised her, Tada Banri- and at times worries she is more like Banri then the Emperor.
In combat, Mariya is masterful at suppressing her personality or needs to do whatever is required by the mission. She is deeply analytical and tends to only strike at opportune kinds- hunting like a panther that sulks in the shadows.

| Versatile Chakra Mariya was sourced from several DNA sources including that of the Ninth Raikage Nakajima Hayate in an attempt by the infamous Tada Banri to create the ultimate soldier. Unbeknownst to Banri the tenketsu mutations of the Nakajima family were not something that could be controlled. At birth, Mariya's chakra was nature-less and resonated so perfectly with any other chakra around it that it is impossible to, even with chakra sensory, discern it from other chakra. As she matured she unlocked the full potential of her chakra revealing her mutation. Rather than the Raikage's "resonating chakra", Mariya had versatile chakra. Versatile chakra has the incredible ability to change the elemental nature of jutsu it is exposed to. For example, a fireball can be turned into a waterball when touched by a specific versatile chakra programming technique. |

| Sharingan Included in the genetic manipulations of Mariya was a strange doujutsu all but forgotten by the world that when activated cause Mariya's eyes grow red with a black pupil in the center, surrounded by three tomoe that grant her enhanced visual senses. The first tomoe grants her with [Sensory] that allows her to see energy around her opponents, such as chakra when they begin to cast a jutsu or the kinetic energy building up in their legs as they create torque for a kick. This energy is translucent and color-coded, such as fire appearing red-orange or kinetic energy appearing grey. The stronger energy, the deeper its hue, and it leaves "tracers" that linger in the air following actions for up to [Control / 2] posts, though she can mentally turn tracers on or off, or choose to focus on one. The second tomoe grants enhanced [Perception] allowing her to pick up on the smallest patterns or even muscle fiber movements of her opponent to increase her ability to react, though to what length is dependent on her training with the eye and represented by Discipline Taijutsu. The third and final ability of the doujutsu, is the ability to refract light giving the user the ability to see through visual impedances such as smoke, mist, or stealth cloaks ranked A-Rank or lower. This ability is limited to [Endurance] x2 meters, and anything further away than that will bypass the third tomoe's visual processing power. While utilizing the Doujutsu, Mariya must be careful as for every [Control/5] posts it is active it drains -1 Chakra Pool. |

A truly unique move in that it can be used alongside other Fuuinjutsu, by channeling into their finger as they draw in the air directly in front of them, the user releases raw chakra the lingers for a small amount of time, allowing it to be used as a seal formula. Alternatively the user can also do hand seals and place their hands forward, causing a seal to burst to life in the air in front of them. This technique consumes chakra equal to the cost of the technique.

Mariya will channel chakra as she draws a seal, modulating her chakra such that she embeds semi-unique nano-patterns and complexities of remarkable resolution into the seal. She will then project the seal forward onto a jutsu or person up to 15 meters away at [Control] speed. Jutsu "marked" by this fuuinjutsu become encrypted, stopping it from being controlled, kai'd, or interacted with by anyone that does not possess the same seal. When using it on a person, it essentially acts as a key, allowing their chakra to interact with the seal.

Mariya performs the proper hand seals and then draws a line on the ground up to 3 meters long, imbuing and storing raw chakra within the line and arming the technique. Either when the seal is activated or when the seal is crossed, raw chakra will rise out of the ground forming a solid barrier of chakra up to 7 meters tall. The chakra barrier will last for 5 posts before needing to be rearmed and rises with [Control] speed and a strength of [Control] strength. When it initially forms, it will form around whatever is over the line, "catching it" and holding it inside the wall at [Control] strength.

After the appropriate hand seals, Mariya draws a small seal onto a surface while holding a one-handed seal. Using her other hand she can feed items no bigger than the seal into it. When complete, she can drop the one-handed seal finalizing the storage technique.

Used in conjunction with another Fuuinjutsu technique, Mariya has devised a new system that allows her seals to be modular, networkable, and twice as small as conventional seals. This is accomplished by refining her chakra control when drawing a seal and using chakra to enhance her movements, making it such that drawing a single line actually is drawing hundreds of micro-seals, giving her seals incredible density. Fuuinjutsu made utilizing [color=black][b][Force Fuuinjutsu • Binary Fuuinjutsu][/b][/color] incur a cost equivalent 1/5th the cost of the Fuuinjutsu it is being used with.

Upon channeling chakra into a [color=black][b][Force Fuuinjutsu • Projectile Storage][/b][/color] seal she can cause it to release up to 3 sealed objects at [Control] strength/speed up to 15 meters away in a straight line and close spread. As long as she holds the channel, she can continue to fire objects up to 5 more times. This cannot be held for more than 3 posts regardless of how many objects have been fired.

Prerequisite: [color=black][b][Force Fuuinjutsu • Projectile Storage][/b][/color]
Completely impractical during combat to a point of taking 1 full post to create, the ten-fold seal as the name suggests actually consists of several lower-ranked fuuinjutsu linked together. After drawing the seal, Mariya performs the correct hand seals and then presses her hand to the seal, charging it. At this point, the seal is finished. At any point, Mariya can utilize kai to "open the seal", causing her body to be wrapped by a seal pattern and absorb an incoming energy source. When energy has been absorbed, it can be rereleased in a raw outward blast from the wielder of the seal via Kai. The blast has whatever strength and speed the original attack had but is released in an outward 10m radius, scaling on how powerful the absorbed technique was. Only one energy source can be sealed at a time.

A truly unique move in that it can be used alongside other Fuuinjutsu, by channeling into their finger as they draw in the air directly in front of them, the user releases raw chakra the lingers for a small amount of time, allowing it to be used as a seal formula. Alternatively the user can also do hand seals and place their hands forward, causing a seal to burst to life in the air in front of them. This technique consumes chakra equal to the cost of the technique.

Jutsu "marked" by this fuuinjutsu become encrypted, stopping it from being controlled, kai'd, or interacted with by anyone that does not possess the same seal. When using it on a person, it essentially acts as a key, allowing their chakra to interact with the seal.

The chakra barrier will last for 5 posts before needing to be rearmed and rises with [Control] speed and a strength of [Control] strength. When it initially forms, it will form around whatever is over the line, "catching it" and holding it inside the wall at [Control] strength.

As long as she holds the channel, she can continue to fire objects up to 5 more times. This cannot be held for more than 3 posts regardless of how many objects have been fired.

Completely impractical during combat to a point of taking 1 full post to create, the ten-fold seal as the name suggests actually consists of several lower-ranked fuuinjutsu linked together. After drawing the seal, Mariya performs the correct hand seals and then presses her hand to the seal, charging it. At this point, the seal is finished. At any point, Mariya can utilize kai to "open the seal", causing her body to be wrapped by a seal pattern and absorb an incoming energy source. When energy has been absorbed, it can be rereleased in a raw outward blast from the wielder of the seal via Kai. The blast has whatever strength and speed the original attack had but is released in an outward 10m radius, scaling on how powerful the absorbed technique was. Only one energy source can be sealed at a time.

Upon activation, the fuuinjutsu will activate, and whatever it contacts next will move into the dimensional space, and then be immediately ejected at the opposite seal. This can be used to avoid opponent attacks, but also to redirect them back at the opponent.

While Mariya is physically assumed to be around the age of 16, she is less than 4 years old in reality because she was grown in a lab. Formerly known as Subject #42, under Program New Dawn in a Kumogakure BlackOps medical facility Mariya was created from the egg of an unknown woman and DNA comprised of Tada Banri and unbeknownst to him, Nakajima Hayate. Officially, she is the daughter of three people: Hayate, Banri, and an unknown female donor.
New Dawn had hoped to clone the Raikage in hopes of using his unique tenketsu and chakra mutations to allow the direct binding of spirits to each clone. This would allow the black ops to eliminate the need for Jinchuuriki and the instability the Genma and other spirits brought to their human hosts. With over 60 participants at various life stages and various genetic alterations, Subject #42 was the only one who managed to survive. As she grew at a hyper-altered pace in her pod, upon reaching adolescence and being taken out of the pod it was clear she was a mistake.
While Subject #42 possessed an ancient visual doujutsu Banri had implanted into her, the tenketsu chakra mutations she possessed was not that of the Raikage Nakajima Hayate. This caused Banri to be furious. He ordered the complete culling of the entire program but through the efforts of researchers, Mariya was spared. Though she would not be a candidate for his super-soldier pseudo-jinchuuriki project her chakra made her nearly impossible to track- the perfect spy. Her successful doujutsu cultivation from ancient DNA also was promising, enough so that eventually Banri took a liking to the girl and to raise her as his own child. She was not the weapon he wanted but she was a weapon he could use. As abusive as Banri was the girl brought out a certain kind part of him- but a part that likely was due more to his love of himself which he saw in her.
When she was not in her pod or being prodded, poked, or tested, Banri would train the girl himself, however, the day for her debut as a Black Ops soldier never came. As the war progressed the researchers disappeared. The soldiers were gone and Banri never returned for her. Occasionally she would wake for moments in her pod only to find she was alone and fall back into her stasis. One day after the war, however, something happened. Something called to Mariya and she awoke in her pod and placed her hand on the glass, her eyes widely looking out but failing to adjust to the sudden light of her dark confines.
A hand met hers on the glass and she felt something- the chakra of her other father, Nakajima Hayate. Their chakra reacted in way he did not expect as the glass shattered and out came the girl- naked, shivering, and cold. Unaware of what he was the Raikage covered her in his cloak, but soon after as his forces raided the lair and obtained the details of Banri's heinous experiments they soon learned the truth of this girl. Despite a girl in need... confused... lost... Hayate struggled to see her as anything other than a monster. A weapon created from his DNA to likely kill him.
This man was father. But her earliest memories of him confused her. His kindness had quickly turned to a look of disgust and that would be etched in her mind forever if not for Hayate finally breaking the silence. Fighting everything he felt he gave her the benefit of being human.
"I think you're a Mariya. It's a beautiful name, do you like it?" he asked. And in that moment, the girl could do nothing more than nod and tug at his sleeve to leave.
"Let's go home, Mariya".
Those were the words she would always remember.
