Nori has rather sharp and defined features that only get highlighted further by the makeup he tends to wear, which can make him appear a bit more androgynous as his strong cheekbones in particular stand out more but at the same time his masculine jaw remains prominent.
His smallish nose gets built up by his makeup so it stands out stronger, though it can still appear rather cute especially combined with his thin lips.
Said makeup is not particularly for beauty per se, more so following his ideas of belief but in putting it on he certainly wanted to make it look good and define his face better. It is mostly white with a line straight down the middle of his face that runs over his nose and only skips over his mouth to get to his chin.
Along with that he has a larger than normal amount around his sharp, brown eyes, almost like a panda but much better defined and then some small definition to his cheek bones.
As for his sandy blond hair; he usually keeps it short with shaved back and sides but a bit longer and wavy on top with a bit of a fringe, just keeping it tidy enough so that it is not a complete mess but preferring not to try and tame the wavy wisps of hair that might go in ever which way they please. - Body:
Nori is rather tanned like most Sunagakure people and is rather well toned and pretty lean, though a bit on the tall and lanky side despite such things. It just seems like he can't escape such a tall and thin body structure, though that is fine by him for it was simply by the guidance of her holy light that he was gifted with his body.
In any case this tends to mean people can spot the definition of his muscles pushing against his skinnier clothing depending on positions of his body. - Notable Features:
Aside from the white makeup he wears on his face every day, Nori also has a stylistic sun tattoo surrounded by the four cardinal directions on the left side of his chest. This tattoo represents his combined beliefs of Yuumagure and Vrashni.
Nori tends to wear mostly black despite the heat of Suna since black takes in the most light and it is like accepting the rays of the Holy Duo, whilst also representing that he not as pure and holy and them or someone like that of the Kazekage and that such a thing he must strive for.
Typically he wears a thin, long-sleeved, black top with a thin white line that goes down the middle and aligns with the one on his face when looking straight ahead. It also has white bands around the biceps and a sigil over the left pectoral area that kind of represents the Sun and its Holy Light based on his own ideas.
As for bottom wear he simply wears basic black pants with a black wrapping of cloth that hangs low to just above his knees at the back but quickly comes up so most of his legs can still be seen at the front, getting tied around his waist by a grey rope belt.
When it comes to extras/accessories, Nori also tends to wear simple, grey, leather armguards along the outer side of his lower arms, though they don't really provide any particular real protection. He also dons grey fingerless gloves, grey ninja sandals and a grey headband tied to his lower right leg.
Nori also tends to wear a variety of different earrings but keeps to more simple styles when on missions, though still prefers ones with a kind of spiky look where the spikes jut out to the side from the back and can just about become visible curving round his ears.

Nori is generally polite and respectful, at least to those who are also as such, for it is his belief that everyone must do their utmost to not only keep but also represent the peace of Sunagakure and by extension the world.
This stems from higher belief in religion, in particular the heliocentric religion of Yuumagure; believing the Sun and Her Holy Light shine upon the world and more specifically Sunagakure as a precious gift of life itself and it is down to the blessed people shone upon by the light to maintain that purity and strive for a greater and better life that will be eternally blessed.
In tandem with this is of course the opposite end of the belief and that is that anything dark and hidden from the Sun's rays is unholy and impure, as such those that regularly accept such impurities are a bane of existence and threaten the blessings brought forth by the sun.
It is such people that cause trouble for the land and must be punished to prevent further sacrilege, believing it is the people that dare go far and beyond the holy light that become and cause terrible missing ninja that disturb the land of wind.
Nori is happy to go above and beyond in the name of his belief so long it is deemed righteous and holy, sometimes seeming quite zealous in that fact but he always tries to remain respectful and only goes as far as the Light guides him to so will not take unnecessary actions if they are indeed deemed as such.
In this sense he will always look towards the chosen disciple of the sun, the Kazekage, for the correct path to follow and is willing to do anything in the name of the Sun and Sunagakure at the command of said disciple. Even if beliefs, thought and reasoning may differ he truly believes in the Kazekage and is willing to take their word as true and holy representations of the sun.
In the end he also gained some belief from faint knowledge of the Vrashni religion which is based on the four cardinal directions, as such bits of this have mixed into his own religion and moulded some of views on interpretations.
Though he does not wholly pray and focus on this area of religion he has some of the beliefs and feels the Sun guides them such as North representing the protection you get when blessed by Her Light, East being about beginnings and truly holy as it where the Sun rises and shows you the way to move through your life.
South is the gift of life itself in mother earth and comes from the Sun's blessings, which then must be looked after and nourished with love. Finally there is then West which is the resting place of the Sun and a reminder of the darkness that the world must prevent but also a symbol of death, which Nori believes is the direction souls must travel to reach the afterlife and finally join with the Sun but only those truly guided by Her Light will be able to make it.
These beliefs have mixed into his thoughts and so he understands that all of the earth provides precious life as a gift from the Sun and that where plant life nourishes animal life, so too does animal life nourish other animal life and as such it is only nature to accept this and to understand that humans where built to be nourished in both ways.
Though he follows the same strong beliefs as other followers of Yuumagure, Nori himself is not a strict vegetarian and is not wholly opposed to eating meat but only where necessary when it comes to himself as such he typically does live a vegetarian lifestyle but is not bound to get up in arms over eating meat and may even eat it himself depending on the situation.
He has also started to become more inspired to aid the growth of Sunagakure's youth and provide them with both strength and safety so that fewer lives may be lost and peace may be prosperous.
All this can amount to Nori being quite stern but polite, caring and helpful as he tries to follow the guidance of his religion and do his best to uphold the purity of the world. Following such a path can end up with a lot of him being longwinded in following religious guidance instead of getting to the point, especially when it comes to avoiding impurity and respecting his own beliefs and when that amounts to something crazy he can come off as zealous. - Hopes/Dreams:
Nori wishes to lead a pure life and not only do his part for Sunagakure but if willed to so then he shall help the world and remove all impurities to bring complete peace to the world, though he would not step of bounds of what the Kazekage deems of course.
He could never truly aspire to become the Kage itself, no that would be blasphemous, he instead would hope he could help guide the people and perhaps become the Kage's aide and perform his duty though if he was found to be the next Kazekage then he would be in utter delight and graciously accept. - Fears:
Nori once truly feared the dark but has since embraced his fears and accepts it is something he must fight against and eliminate, though that doesn't stop him from being suspicious of it and all the omens that come with it such as nocturnal animals that are said to represent evil.
In his current state of mind and thinking he is more scared of succumbing to the darkness and any and all sins, just totally losing the blessing of the Sun and Her Light. Though he would not give in without a fight and would try his best to climb back from the darkness, unless he was convinced he was totally and utterly lost and could not receive redemption. - Combat Mentality:
Nori fights with thee belief that justice is on his side, believing what he is doing is the guidance of the Sun and Her Light. As such he is not one to back down so easily and he will do his utmost to keep going until victorious, though that does not mean leaving comrades behind for he does after all believe in keeping the peace together with everyone.
So that means he will naturally try and push to complete combat as efficiently as possible and fight on like a proper soldier but if teammates become too injured, he would see it as a blessed sign that they must rest and rethink strategies before continuing on and retrying for victory.
Nori is not afraid to fight head on and at full force, countering everything the opponent might try and do, especially if he is alone and does not need to worry about others that may be injured and particularly if it appears to be for supreme justice and divine punishment which makes him the most serious.
Typically he prefers to control the battle with his Kuuton and force the opponent to submit and be forced in a position where they must lose, essentially pulling them in with nowhere to run before being beat down with full force.
In a team this can become even more effective as other members can close other gaps of escape that he might not otherwise be able to fill, plus it makes directing opponents into traps with kuuton all that much easier.
Also, though he typically may tone down area of effect like attacks when in a team, he is not against submitting his team to his own skills if they are willing to take the risks but not if it would clearly be too dangerous.

Kamiokuri
Kamiokuri is a well designed katana forged in Nori's vision with a silver, 60cm blade with stylised sun prints etched into it along the top with wavy sunrays coming down to the blade just before the sharp edge. The words handle is black with a golden sun pattern; 3 large suns along each side spaced by long, wavy rays that streak out from each sun around the handle like stripes, coalescing in a single brilliance.
This is all kept a similarly brilliant black and golden sheath, typically tied to Norio's waist on the left. The sheathe is also donned with the same kind of sun patterns as the sword going all the along it but in a more dispersed and tiled fashion as the suns move up diagonally each time and appear to spiral around from top to bottom. Said bottom it capped in a pure golden colour just like the sword's cross guard.
Tengoku no Futago
Not particularly special but Norio as a pair of wrist mounted blades on each hand donned as Tengoku no Futago or God's Twins. They're simply 20cm tanto-styled dagger blades attached to a silver and black wrist guard device with a happy, smiling, golden sun crest on the underside. The device is first activated with a specific wrist action that presses a switch through peculiar hand positions, releasing the blade which then requires a jerk of the arm to launch the blades out so they can then be wielded.
These blades stay connected but are on a hinge so they can be grabbed at the handle and be used like normal tanto.

Norio also has a weapon pouch tied to his waist over his right bum cheek, this is filled with 15 explosive tags, 30m of wire and 15 kunai.
Then the shuriken holster on his lower right leg full of 15 shuriken.

Nori was born in a small but highly devout family consisting of a couple different backgrounds that seemed to blend together seamlessly over the generations; mostly following the religion of Yuumagure that spread across Sunagakure no Sato but also following, at least in part, the Vrashni religion thanks to a mix of ancestors and simply just bringing up the family on their small mix until it seemed to just blend into one.
For the majority of Nori's life he was a lone child and grew up being blessed as such, receiving the full attention of his parents but also being completely indulged in their teachings.
In particular the family's religious beliefs where fully ingrained into his mind and soul, fully cementing as something that would be nigh impossible to change as he became a true member of the village and indoctrinated in its ways in such a way he could never abandon it.
Though his family was not wholly a shinobi family with his father actually being a stay at home studious type, always studying further in their religion and doing free work here and there to help the village, Nori showed some promising skill and his mother said it would provide honour to the family if he joined the academy; thus, at the appropriate age, Norio finally signed to become a shinobi and began his lessons.
Looking up to his mother with great pride, the young boy was filled with determination and trained hard at the academy where he showed promise in the art of ninjutsu in particular which further developed into skill with fuuton which seemed to genetically manifest from his mother.
Once Nori finally passed the academy and became a genin he was given his sensei who took interest in the boy's skill with fuuton and showed him how to truly use it and master it with weapons, even giving him an old sword to master it with but of course he also got whatever lessons his mother could afford to show him at home and from this seemed to pick things up really well.
Nori grasped the use of fuuton so well in fact that his sensei even brought in another, younger genin as his kouhai to help teach her and boost her skills to a higher level and in doing so he further mastered his own abilities as well.
Then the time came where the young genin would take the chuunin exam alongside his best friend who he had been together with for awhile now. In taking the exams it seems his use of fuuton was so exemplarily that his sensei made a promise that if he passed in one go then he would teach him secrets beyond the use of ordinary fuuton.
Thus the friends fought in an arena to show their skills to the three judges and it was with this great skill of fuuton that Nori bested hi friend, Atsuko but not without her giving her all which resulted in both passing the exam but it was the boy that received the promised gift; knowledge in the arts of kuuton.
Throughout Nori's years of being a chuunin he trained in the art of kuuton and became even stronger for it, even surprising he old sensei who started to truly see him as a comrade and maybe even started to surpass his own mother's skills but he never let it get to his head and always stayed true.
It was also through these years that Atsuko started to fall deeply for Nori and started teasing him by naming him Norio instead but he took it in his stead and stayed resolute, claiming it sounded manlier and had a slightly deeper meaning to it that is usual name and so he just kind of started to adopt the name normally and even accidentally addressed himself to strangers as such.
Though his female partner never got the hang of kuuton she stayed in the lane of fuuton and definitely showed her own prowess there and that's when Norio started to see what she saw in him, even starting to also fall in love and so they got together and became an eager romance but did not let it get in the way of their duties.
As the pair moved towards becoming special jounin Norio put aside his sensei's sword and forged his own sword special to him and even took a pair of wrist mounted blades as gift from Atsuko on his 18th birthday, which he easily began to use in his fighting style. Though that was not his only gift as Atsuko also showed him a special fuuton technique she came up with where she extended fuuton from her blade at great distance and speed.
During these same years Nori finally became a sibling as a younger brother was born, which felt odd given the age difference but he did his best to aid in looking after Haru to the best of his skill, especially when his mother was called on missions whilst he was still home.
However this happiness didn't last many years for just as he received such nice gifts for his 18th birthday, he soon also received a terrible one; the murder of his mother at the hands of villainous missing ninja.
Norio had started to think his mother should also start to think about retiring since he was becoming quite the skilled ninja himself and then she also had a 2nd son and needed more time to see him, however to think she would be killed on a mission by unrelated missing ninja who invaded her team's mission for their own sick goals.
This was when he started to change a bit and become more stern, serious and zealous and most of all more about justice in the eyes of the Sun and her Holy light which damaged his relationship with Atsuko who broke up with him but promised to try and look after him and get him back on track which in turn also slowed down his ascent to Special Jounin.
In the end Norio knew resentment was tempting and full of sin so he calmed down freshened himself up and looked to the new, changing his style so that he started wearing all black and make up to help symbolise his religion and the idea that he would never meet a truly pure afterlife he did not stay on a true and clean path.
Henceforth he got himself back on the right track as a shinobi and even helped his brother where his mother could no longer, finally ascending to the rank of Special Jounin at the age of 20 where he diligently trained and promised to further his skills and do his best for Sunakagure, the Kage and the holy Sun until he ended up bring quite respectable and a person for Haru to look up to as he finally enrolled into the academy just like he did.
However his timer as a Special Jounin pit him with many trials none more so than those put forth by his new shining comrade in Zao, which eventually lead to a long journey into a realm of spirits as he ventured as his friend's aid to find answers to the powers of space-time.
This particular adventure was rather gruelling and unforgiving as the team travelled for over three years meeting those of the ape, bulls and snakes all whilst losing more members each time which put a huge toll on the giant of a Special Jounin but also strengthened him in return.
Though it was years in the spirit realm it appeared to only be months once Nori and Zao emerged thanks to an ancient man thought to be the progenitor of space-time jutsu, who ripped them out and sent them home though not in any sort of kind capacity.
Since returning and reporting the mission to the council Nori felt bogged down by the deaths and wasn't sure he could accept the idea that such a journey pushed him to be capable enough to become a jounin, pushing him into a corner as he almost sank back into a wallowing pit not unlike before.
That did however change when the man found a young, similarly lost Hizashi with a name not too far from his own brother's which reinvigorated a spark within him as he vowed not to fall backwards into such a dim light and further vowed to build not only his own strength but also that of the youth of Sunagakure.

Though it was years in the spirit realm it appeared to only be months once Nori and Zao emerged thanks to an ancient man thought to be the progenitor of space-time jutsu, who ripped them out and sent them home though not in any sort of kind capacity.
Since returning and reporting the mission to the council Nori felt bogged down by the deaths and wasn't sure he could accept the idea that such a journey pushed him to be capable enough to become a jounin, pushing him into a corner as he almost sank back into a wallowing pit not unlike before.
That did however change when the man found a young, similarly lost Hizashi with a name not too far from his own brother's which reinvigorated a spark within him as he vowed not to fall backwards into such a dim light and further vowed to build not only his own strength but also that of the youth of Sunagakure.
Now with the blessings of Suna's higher ups Nori has moved up to the rank of jounin and has began to take the tutelage of those younger than he under his wing, in particular focusing on Haruto and trying to reignite his burning passion hidden deep within and bring out his true potential.
