Bando represents a blend of intellect and passion, precision and spontaneity, calm and ambition. An enigmatic man who, despite their years, seems both out of time and deeply in tune with it. He carries himself with an unusually serious demeanor for one so young, His humor is dry, often tinged with a dark, morose edge. Logic guides him, though tempered by an understanding of the deeper, sometimes unquantifiable parts of life.
Bando approaches life with the fervor of a romantic, believing in the power of grand ideals and the delicate intricacies of existence. Still, Bando wears his romanticism with refined sophistication, blunt in his delivery yet never sacrificing elegance.
A sentimental side lingers beneath his stoic exterior– a consequence of his archival memory. He holds on to mementos and memories as though they’re sacred.

Body of ArtAfter undergoing the process of turning their heart/brain/etc into a core, Bando was able to gather ink around himself to recreate their bodies. This means that his body takes on the properties of ink at almost all times. Any damage sustained by the body is able to be recovered by gathering more of the same element, and is incapable of bleeding. While this gives Bando a form of almost invulnerability, if the object that holds their true self is damaged it spells out almost certain death.

Book of Infinite Pages
Bando's core is a sealed scroll set into the base of his skull. During the process of converting Bando’s internals into a core, Fukada was able to make some improvements. As a result, his mind has been bound to the scroll, with all of his thoughts, feelings, and impressions recorded on its endless pages. This has greatly enhanced his perception and analytical skills and gifted him with an eidetic memory.

Mugen Seal
Bando's ink form has been further augmented by a seal designed to exploit the self-replenishing nature of Suiton. When any damage is sustained the seal will produce more ink to make up for what was lost. This grants Bando’s ink form constant Chakra Pool based regeneration at a permanent cost of -5 CP.

After completing a set of handseals, the user forms a slight chakra 'body', thus creating a single, massless clone. The clone created from this technique is very basic and will dissipate when hit with anything. These clones do not possess vital signs or a unique chakra signature, meaning they don't disrupt the environment, and anything on their person is superficial. The clone has 1 in each stat. They are limited to basic movements.

After completing the needed handseals, the user of this technique will be able to alter their physical appearance to match that of another person. By consistently emitting chakra throughout their body, the user is able to keep their appearance adjusted at the cost of their Chakra Pool draining over time. As this technique is quite strenuous to uphold, experienced shinobi may see more clearly through this delusive disguise. This technique lasts for a number of posts equal to that of the user's (Chakra Pool/2).

A jutsu used with the purpose of activating seals and a range of devices and weapons, this technique begins with a single handseal. Once this has been performed, the user will focus a dollop of their chakra into what they are looking to activate in order to complete the task. Seals activated with this technique must be within 10 meters of the user's position.

By focusing chakra into his/her feet, the user is able to walk up trees and other vertical surfaces in a similar fashion to walking along the ground. This chakra amount must be precise, and although all shinobi learn this technique, the user's control stat will determine how well this jutsu can be executed. Users with low control 2 or lower will often fall during the use of this technique, while users with average control 3 or higher will be able to use this technique functionally. It lasts for a number of posts equal to the user's Chakra Pool.

*[Basic Jutsu • Act of Water Surface Walking]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
A variation of the Act of Tree Climbing technique, this jutsu requires the user to focus a precise and balanced amount of charka into the soles of his/her feet. By doing so, the user is able to walk on the surface of water as though it were a solid surface. Users with low control 2 or lower are much more likely to fall through the surface of the water, while users with average control 3 or higher will be able to use this technique functionally. It lasts for a number of posts equal to the user's Chakra Pool.

A rather simple technique that allows the user to escape from a genjutsu. The user will form a single ram seal and focus to reset their chakra system to purge themselves of foreign chakra. The stat requirements for this technique can be found in the genjutsu rules.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After completing the necessary handseals, the user is able to quickly substitute his/her body with a nearby object that is at least 2/3rds his/her size, but no bigger than their body. This substitution allows the object to take the force of the attack that was meant for the user, additionally allowing the user to create distance between him/her and the opponent. The object used in this jutsu may not be objects that are imbued with chakra or controlled by it unless it is the users own, and they may also only be single, solid objects within a 10 meter radius of the user. This technique may only be used a total of one time in a single thread, give or take how many times Shunshin no Jutsu has already been used.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will focus chakra into a rope, wire, or a similar object in their possession. The object will then lash out at a target at [Control] Speed for up to 25 meters attempting to then coil around them and bind them. After coiling around the target, the chakra will cause the object to harden to [Control] Strength. After 4 posts the chakra will run out and the bind will break.

A truly unique move in that it can be used alongside other Fuuinjutsu, by channeling into their finger as they draw in the air directly in front of them, the user releases raw chakra the lingers for a small amount of time, allowing it to be used as a seal formula. Alternatively the user can also do hand seals and place their hands forward, causing a seal to burst to life in the air in front of them. This technique consumes chakra equal to the cost of the technique.

After drawing a seal formula on a surface, ensuring it is large enough for the object that is about to be stored. The user will then begin placing the object into the seal. The user can only seal objects up to their ([Control])m^3 in size.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will hold their hand over a seal, and begin to remove it. This removal will be successful as long as the user has more [Control] than that of which the Fuuinjutsu was sealed with.

The user will draw a fuuinjutsu seal on the surface of an object. Should the seal be activated with [Chakra Kai] it will explode with [Control] strength of whoever performed the [Chakra Kai].This destroys the object the seal is placed on.

*[Dimestional Fuuinjutsu • Sealing Defense]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
By having an empty surface with a seal formula placed on it, the user is able to use the seal as a defensive measure. Holding a single, one-handed hand seal, the user attempts to block the incoming projectile with the surface. Right before contact is actually made, the projectile will be sealed into the seal. This seal can protect up to the user’s [Control] in Strength. Once used to seal and then release again, the seal will need to be rewritten.

*[Dimensional Fuuinjutsu • Storage Strike]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Used in conjunction with storage seals, the user will perform [Kai] on a seal causing it to launch an object stored within it, as if they were thrown at a strength of the user’s [Control]. The three objects will be released in a small spread, only a few inches apart from each other.

The user can inscribe fuuinjutsu on a surface to have a ‘permanent’ quality. The user must pay full chakra to re-activate the technique, but this allows them to maintain techniques that are more effective with multiple uses

After performing the hand seals or inscribing the seal, the user will bind their target with this technique. The fuuin will remain dormant as long as the target remains within 100m of the sealer. After performing the correct hand seals the user creates a clone of themselves composed completely of chakra-infused ink. This clone has the users stats. It lasts for [Control/5] posts.

After drawing the image, the user will cause a koi fish to spring to life. This koi fish acts as an extension of the user’s senses allowing them to see and hear from its perspective. The construct moves at [Control] Speed, has a max range of 100m, and will dissipate after four posts

[Ink Style • Sparrows]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After drawing the image, the user will cause a [Control]m^3 cloud of ink sparrows to spring to life. These sparrows fly at the same speed and cut with the same strength. The cloud can be maneuvered but control is limited; it can only be moved at a 45 degree angle, up to three times. The cloud dissipates after three posts.

[Ink Style • Dream Tiger]
B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After drawing the image, the user will form a hand seal causing a full-sized tiger to spring to life. This construct has [Control] Strength and Speed. It is composed of Katon infused ink, contact with the beast results in [Control] Strength burns. The tiger can sustain one or two solid blows before bursting and when destroyed releases its stored katon chakra in a [Control] strength explosion, scattering flames in the immediate area. These embers start and spread fire from their source at 1/3rd the speed of the technique, rounded down.

B-Ranked Ninjutsu
After drawing the image with Doton-infused ink, the user will form a hand seal causing a complete set of armor to form at [Control] speed with [Control] strength. The armor is designed in five pieces (helmet, chestplate, gauntlets, sleeves, greaves). Each one is imbued with the Doton passive, allowing them to retain durability even if broken apart.

[Ink Style • Disguise]
A-Ranked Ninjutsu
An ink-based version of the Transformation Jutsu. After forming a series of hand seals, the user will gather ink to alter their (or an ally’s) physical appearance to match that of another person. Because the disguise has more corporality than the standard Transformation Jutsu it can last [Control/2] posts before needing to be reapplied at the cost of recasting the jutsu.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will spray water created from the inside of their chest through their mouth. Once the water is expelled, it will form an umbrella shape that is concave to the user and about two meters in diameter. This defense is somewhat solid and can be formed in any direction the user can spit, up to 10 meters away. The defense is shot at [Control] Speed and has [Control] Strength and unless completely destroyed it lasts for three posts before falling lifelessly to the ground.

After performing the correct hand seals the user will form a dense ball of water approximately 6 centimeters in diameter in their hands. Upon lurching forward, they will release the ball towards an opponent up to 10 meters away at [Control] Speed and Strength.

After channeling chakra into their hands the user will fire two jets of water from their hand, essentially hurling and propelling themselves in the opposite direction of their jets as if thrown by [Control] Strength.

Created to safely incapacitate opponents, after performing the correct hand seals, if the opponent is within 25 meters and is standing atop a body of water with the user's chakra in it, the user will begin to churn their chakra causing the water to turn into a vortex and engulf the opponent, trapping them in a vortex about two meters in diameter. Once the target is inside, the user must hold the last seal and cannot use any other techniques, capable of holding this for up to five posts. In order to escape, the target must have at least [Control] strength to physically make their way out, or the user must be disrupted. Most shinobi would pass out after two posts due to a lack of oxygen. However, if a target possesses an Endurance stat higher than 10, it would require three posts for them to pass out. Should the target possess an Endurance stat above 20, it would require five posts for them to pass out, but anything higher than 30 would allow them to resist passing out altogether.

After performing the correct hand seals the user expels a massive tidal wave of water 10 meters wide and nearly 5 meters tall. This wave travels forward at a [Control] Speed and Strength for up to 25 meters before losing its steam and failing.

After performing the correct hand seals the user is able to spew a large ball of water that stands at three meters in diameter. This ball rolls forward at the desired target up to 40 meters away and at [Control] Speed. Should this strike the target, they will become engulfed within the sphere. However, if this manages to strike multiple targets, it will envelop them as well, up to a total of 3 prisoners. One can resist being pulled into the ball if they have a strength higher than [Control]. The trapped targets will spin with the sphere and may become nauseated and dizzy from the disorientation. The technique lasts for a total of 4 posts before bursting.

Bando was born into a family of artisans. They sold their art pieces to wealthy patrons, galleries, but most often on road sides for loose change. He was born small, weak, and poor, but the shy child found his voice in art. His upbringing provided him with the chance to explore all disciplines, though he gravitated towards the brush. Through his artistry, Bando learned the delicate balance of precision and creativity, honing skills that would later shape his path in ways he could never have imagined.

However, the fragile peace of his childhood was shattered when war descended upon their village. The small community of artisans and farmers were caught in the relentless struggle between the great shinobi powers, and his home became a battlefield. The conflict left his father dead, his mother missing, and the life he once knew in ruins. Alone and wounded, the boy wandered through the remnants of his village, searching for shelter and meaning amid the destruction.

It was during this desperate period that he was found by a miracle worker named Fukada. He appeared like a legend, healing the wounded, inspiring hope wherever he went. The man had gained a small grateful following who marveled at his abilities and Bando joined them. He sought hope, revenge, and, most of all, power.

He committed himself to Fukada and under his tutelage he learned the fundamentals of chakra control and the healing arts, but it was Fuuinjutsu—the art of sealing—that truly captured his mind and spirit. Drawing upon his innate artistry, he began designing intricate seals that could contain vast energies, weapons, and even defensive barriers with unparalleled precision

Fukada’s appeal drew all sorts of followers. Some were opportunists, seeking to profit off of his genius, but most were like Bando; desperate, angry, and true believers. Time and time again he proved his loyalty above them all, doing anything demanded of him, some things better left unspoken. It was a complicated life, but one he grew to accept and find meaningful in rare, beautiful moments. Eventually, Fukada decided he was ready to join their inner circle.

He participated in a procedure that would change his fate. The success of which brought out the full potential of his Ink Style and aptitude for Fuuinjutsu. This raised him in Fukada’s esteem. The past year he served as the man’s right hand. Things were close to perfect, until the sudden and mysterious disappearance of Fukada. Bando remained a dutiful pupil determined to preserve his mentor’s legacy as best he could. Now he finds himself in the middle of his rags to riches story. Shouldering Fukada’s duties, leading his sheep, as well as accepting any and all contracts to pay off his lingering debts.

B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Using their knowledge of the human body, the practitioner has learned to precisely target their opponent's joints, tendons, and nerve points to cause localized paralysis. All strikes using this technique have the potential to cause numbness, loss of sensation, and even paralysis based on the [Strength] of the attack, lasting for up to five posts. Opponents require a Rigid Body technique of appropriate rank or higher to resist.

A-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
One who has mastered this discipline has a near unparalleled comprehension of anatomy and physiology. They are able to locate even the smallest of veins in any person, regardless of variances in shape or size. This knowledge extends to chakra systems, nervous systems, and anything else. Much of this knowledge extends into the biology of non-human species as well, though with less precision. This discipline, combined with enough accuracy, can turn even the simplest of attacks into a fatal blow.

In the event a patient has passed, in some cases it is possible to resuscitate the patient. Most major injuries must be first treated, as any untreated injuries would simply cause the patient to perish after resuscitation. Should the injuries be treated and this technique be initiated within 2 posts of the target's death, the user will apply pressure to a series of pressure points and begin CPR, bringing the patient back to life. This technique will inevitably fail if not initiated within the 2 post period.

Prerequisite: 40 Control
Through experimentation and careful study of anatomy, Hanna has discovered a method of applying a series of pricks to certain pressure points (leaving the needles inside) to trick the brain into a near-death state. This triggers a flood of endorphins and adrenaline which greatly enhances her body’s physical capabilities, priming it for superhuman feats of strength and agility (+10 Strength, +10 Speed). While in this state, all signals for pain and fatigue are impaired and replaced with an overwhelming euphoria. This allows her to continue to fight regardless of any damage received unless injured in a way that would prevent movement. The technique takes a tremendous toll on her body, essentially overloading its healing factor (-20 Control) for its duration. This lasts for [Endurance/2] posts before her body begins to break down from the strain.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The practitioner claps their opponent's ear with the palm of their hand, swinging wide to gather as much force as possible before the strike. This causes bleeding and a ringing sensation in the opponent's ear, hampering their ability to hear properly. This also causes an influx of pressure in the opponent's ear canal, compromising the opponent's balance. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Strength to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
This technique requires the practitioner to get close and personal, grabbing the opponent and forcing them into an armbar. Once the opponent is forced into an armbar, the practitioner must then open up their fingers and bend them back with immense force until they break or dislocate. This prevents the opponent from forming handseals unless they relocate their fingers or mend the bone breakage. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Strength to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

*Pelvis Grinder
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 10 Strength
The practitioner grabs the opponent by the shoulders and attempts to drive their knee into the opponent's pelvis full-force, using the hard part of their knee cause a localized fracture. This fracture inhibits the opponent's ability to sprint or run, and it causes them to stand at an awkward angle, inhibiting their ability to stand in a stable fighting position. It also causes the opponent to be off-balance as they attempt to relieve the pain by putting more pressure into their knees. The practitioner's Strength must be 5 points higher than the opponent's Strength to achieve the desired effect of this technique.

D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Soft Paws is a bare-handed deflection technique and is used against bladed weapons. At this level, the practitioner is able to read the angles of the attacks to place the flat of their hand against the flat of the blade and push it away without getting cut by the weapon. However, prolonged use of this technique will cause the practitioner to suffer bruises on their hands.

Hanna was a miracle.
Or so she was told.

Originating from a lawless enclave in Steam Country, she wasn’t born so much as engineered— a product of a lab-grown cell-culture, mission statements and morally gray spreadsheets. A bright idea for a walking cure-all bottled up in flesh and nerve. While the moral and ethical circumstances have been obscured by false names, cold bodies, and erased files, it was clear the brilliant minds who created her did so with a singular mission in mind: to heal the world.

They didn’t keep her.

While still an infant, she left her birthplace never to return, but that purpose became her inheritance. Her guardians? Two decidedly non-genius members of an organization known as the Merchants of Death. They raised her in the organization’s shadowy underbelly. A fast, brutal education with razor-thin margins for error. Her classrooms were dimly-lit hideouts, her lessons fit between shady deals and back-alley surgeries.

There, Hanna learned to stitch wounds before she learned to read fluently. To brew poisons before she ever tasted birthday cake. She never quite fit into that world, not fully. But she was grateful (as she was told she should be). After all, she had something most people didn't: a purpose. And every day brought a chance to live it out.

Then, everything fell apart.

At thirteen, during an arms deal already unraveling in the wake of their leader’s mysterious disappearance, some splintered remnants of the Merchants turned on her guardians. The ambush was sudden, merciless, and confusing. Hanna remembers only vague impressions, like the shadows of a nightmare.

But she remembers him.
Bando.

A stranger then, but not for long. He protected her without hesitation. And when the dust settled and it was clear she had no one left, he didn’t leave. They shared the same blood ties to a broken organization, and a childhood interrupted by betrayal. Something unspoken formed between them in that moment.

Since then, they’ve been inseparable.
