Name: [Reaper's Reach]
Item Type: Offensive Long-Range Launcher
Description: A rather blocky looking launcher with a two meter long, two-inch thick, round barrel crafted from black steel that flares out at the end of the muzzle. The barrel is engineered into a metal breach where the Rounds from the detachable magazine are able to be loaded into the launcher. The break and barrel seated into a blocky, rectangular stock that adds nearly another meter worth of length ended in a curved butt stock and trigger mechanism designed specifically for the Bounty Hunter measurements. Near the end of the wooden lower receiver of the weapon is a specially designed tripod system to allow the weapon to be fired from an extremely stable position while laying down in the prone position. It's size and slow rate of fire making it rather impractical for close range combat situations.

Effect #1: The primary function of the weapon allows for it to be charged via its cocking handle, loading the long-range launcher with a single round. Allowing the weapon to launch a single, long-distance projectile attack. This attack can strike its target without losing Strength, Speed, or Accuracy up to [Weapon Strength] x 100 meters, rounded down. [Flawless Aim Style • Sniper’s Mark]. Rate of fire up to two long range projectiles per post.


Effect #2: The wielder charges the weapon via the charging handle on the right side of the long-range launcher, cocking the weapon, doing this up to twice to increase the firing range of the weapon. When triggered by the user, the weapon launches a single, violently rotating projectile at a speed and strength equal to the [Weapon's Strength], traveling high into the sky up to a number of miles equal to [Weapon's Strength/10], rounded down, aiming for a target within a number of miles equal to the weapon's [Strength/10], rounded down to a minimum of one mile.

This projectile travels in a wide arc, retaining its Strength and Speed throughout its flight path. At the end of the next post, the projectile generates a sufficient amount of air friction to encapsulate the projectile in a volatile ball of flame. The projectile impacts its target at full Strength immediately before detonating, explosive force and flames engulfing up to a number of meters in radius around the point of impact equal to the [Weapon's Strength] in meters, striking at 3/4 the [Weapon's Strength], rounded down.

The packs main access point is the fold over lid at the top as the interior is divided into two equal sections by a thick fabric divider. The Myriad Umbrella is an engineering feat of [Name], taking the user's weapon master skill and combining them into a single functioning weapon capable of performing the task of different weapons and even transforming. The weapon in its normal state measures one and a half meters in length with the white and red Umbrella portion taking up a full meter of the upper weapon. The Umbrella is made up of ten equal sized pieces with what appears to be decorative connectors at the end of each of the ten pieces that extend four inches past the edge of the Umbrella.

The tip of this "umbrella" is an Extendable Spear Tip concealed within the upper portion of its support staff. At the lower handle is a twist-able switch than when activated it allows the user to extend or retract the handle of the
spear along with the hidden Spear tip to causing it snap out and into place at [Speed] and [Strength] of the weapon. The handle of the weapon able to extend by up to two additional meters from its original one-meter length. The Spear Tip is needle like in appearance and measured one foot in length when fully extended.

The Umbrella portion is crafted from over lapping sheets of white metal that are one meter long from the center point when collapsed. Part way up the hand of the Umbrella is a palm sized slider that when pushed forward by the user snaps open the Umbrella creating a two-meter diameter round shield. The switch may be twisted and pulled back down to rapidly collapse the shield. This shield is imbued with the Doton passive.

Each of the decorative lines that appear to connectors of the Umbrella portion of the weapon are actually blades one-meter-long blades attached to the outside of the umbrella shield to the center point like spokes on a wheel. A hidden button on the handle of the Umbrella is able to activate a rotary mechanism that causes the blades to shape out and begin to rapidly spin like a helicopter blades.

These Sword-like blades are able to rotate at [Speed] and [Strength], creating a suction like force that draws in targets at [Strength] extending [Strength] meters out from the weapon. This weapon can also be held overhead temporarily allowing the user to fly upwards to [Strength] meters into the air. This mechanism lasts for up to three posts before running out of power.

Flak JacketShow




Similar to a traditional shinobi flak vest, [Hoka] has a black pull over vest that has wire and metal plates woven into the canvas like fabric giving additional protection to the upper torso from the waist up to around their neck were a yoke style collar covers the entirety of their neck. Numerous pouches can be found sewn onto the exterior of the vest to accommodate magazines, explosives, and other combat equipment.

Description: A single handed, ink black launcher designed out of black iron. The weapon itself is the combination of a one-handed launcher and a thick bowie knife black, measuring a total length of sixteen inches from the tip of the thick inch tall blade to the smooth wood hand grips built over of the launcher metal frame where a circular metal guard has been built over the launcher lever and continues with another ring hand guard to protect the rest of the hand when fighting in close quarts. It's bowie style blade that has been crafted into the underside and front of the launcher is thicker where the spine of the blade would normally be to allow the launcher's barrel to be built into the blade itself with the tip of the blade extending about six inches out past the actual barrel of the weapon allowing for one to slash and stab with the sharp pointed blade. Between the barrel and hand grip is a rotating cylinder design to hold six rounds of two-inch-long sharp tipped rounds that may be fired by the launcher up to [Weapon Strength] x2 meters at [Weapon Strength] Speed and Strength with a rate of fire of [Speed]. The weapon is reloadable by extracting the cylinder to the side in order to load or through a loading port on the left side of the weapon to load one round at a time.

But the main feature of the weapon is that it is able to house specially crafted runic ammunition created by Hoka to add more offensive ninjutsu to his arsenal, as needed. At the tip of the launcher is a raised sight post similar to a pyramid in shape while at the back of the launcher two feather like upward arches with a gap between them creating sight posts for aiming the weapon. The weapon is able to fire up to size times before running try at which point the user must reload additional projectiles into the launcher, after reloading the user must spin the cylinder to rewind the launcher mechanisms allowing it to fire six more times. This weapon is attached to his left hip belt through a specially designed open front holster that is strapped around his upper left thigh for stability, designed to allow the user to not only drew the launcher out upwards but to also pull it straight out from the front as well for quicker drawing and holstering.

Name: Denbagan (Electric Field Eye)

Type: Dōjutsu

Description: Characterized by concentric circles covering the sclera part of the eyeball, alternating between lavender and black before reading a thick red, two-toned iris where the outer layer is a darker red while the inner iris is a brighter red. Rounded of with traditional black pupils in the center, as four then black tomoe shaped marks seem to form around the iris extending from the sclera into the center of the pupil.


Effect: The [Denbagan] is a unique doujutsu that when activated allows for the user to able to see the electrical impulses and/or bioelectric fields generated by living organisms due to the activation of their nerves and muscles which grants its wielder a unique field of visual prowess.

At its core allowing for the user to be able to visually see and recognize the faintest of electrical impulses created inside the bodies of living organisms and able to precisely see these fluctuations within a target's body. This grants its user a form of visual [Perception] allowing them to pick up on the smallest patterns or activation of the muscle fibers within an opponent's body due to these electrical impulses before the muscles and tendons begin to move. Increasing their ability to react, based on their own personal level of training and experience, combined with their personal [Speed].

The second part of the doujutsu comes in the ability of Penetrative vision, giving the user the ability to see these electrical impulses even through typical types of visual impairments, such as smoke, mist, dust, or blinding techniques/effects such as flash bombs, and even some stealth techniques but being limited to a range of [Endurance] x2 meters. The penetrative vision of the doujutsu also allows the user to see the electrical signals through solid objects as long as they are not more than [Endurance /10] meters thick.

The electrical impulses and bioelectric fields given off by living organisms are naturally transferred to other objects that are near them or come into contact with them. These are known to the [Denbagan] user as electrical remnant spores. As long as it has been less than [6] posts since the contact was made, the user will be able to utilize these spores to identify and track targets or objects of a target. Being able to examine the signal and tell them how old the electrical spore track is, it's direction of motion or travel, and possibly if they belong to different targets.

Due to this constantly active ability, it places a constant drain on the user's chakra pool of [-3].

By having an empty surface with a seal formula placed on it, the user is able to use the seal as a defensive measure. Holding a single, one-handed hand seal, the user attempts to block the incoming projectile with the surface. Right before contact is actually made, the projectile will be sealed into the seal. This seal can protect up to the user’s [Control] in Strength. Once used to seal and then release again, the seal will need to be rewritten.

Unlike standard barriers, this barrier moves with whoever was standing on the fuuinjutsu upon activation. The barrier has [Control] strength, and the person protected by the barrier is able to fire jutsu or throw projectiles out of the barrier without breaking it, allowing them to have a mobile defense.

The user must draw two copies of this fuuinjutsu, most often one they carry on themselves as a tag and one they place at a location outside of combat. The user will throw the tag at a projectile or jutsu and perform [Chakra Kai] activating the fuuinjutsu. Upon activation, the fuuinjutsu will activate, and whatever it contacts next will move into the dimensional space, and then be immediately ejected at the opposite seal. This can be used to avoid opponent attacks, but also to redirect them back at the opponent.

S-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user must draw two copies of this fuuinjutsu, most often one they carry on themselves and one they place at a location outside of combat. Upon performing [kai] on one of the seals, it will open and the user is able to vanish into it. When they do, the opposite seal will automatically activate and force the user out of it, allowing them to instantly teleport to the location. Anyone the user is touching upon activation will move with them as well, if they do not resist. The seals must be within [Control]m of each other in order for this technique to work, otherwise it fails.

After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will touch the ground creating a sprawling seal on the floor beneath them up to 200m in size. This barrier has a strength equal to the user’s [Control], it also drains anyone who enters this barrier’s [Chakra Pool] by -8 per post dissipating it into the air outside of the barrier. This discipline shows that the user has the knowledge to understand Runes and can interpret what a Rune does through visual inspection. This technique is required to learn any [Ancient Rune] technique.

By launching two projectiles, one immediately after the other, the practitioner attempts to create a decoy for the second. This masks the second projectile and makes it more difficult for the opponent to completely avoid. Opponents with a Perception technique equal or higher in rank may be able to see both projectiles clearly within a reasonable distance, though they'll still have to properly defend against it.

Having mastered the art of ranged combat, the practitioner is capable of calculating all outside factors before launching their projectiles. Ambient factors such as temperature, winds, moisture, any terrain, and even lack of sight on their target can not hinder their aim. So long as they have a means of detecting the location of their opponent and no impassible objects or unavoidable defenses stand in their way, the practitioner's attacks will strike their target with pinpoint accuracy without fail. Living targets must have a Perception technique equal or higher in rank to be able to perceive the practitioner's attacks without some sort of additional defense.

This simple technique involves thrusting quickly with the user’s long weapon from a distance before quickly pulling back their polearm to prevent counters. This techniques most useful aspect is that it can be used while in motion without affecting speed or momentum.

This simple technique involves proper use of the pole of the user’s weapon to deflect blows. By properly angling and manoeuvring their spear or staff they can deflect other like weapons, hand to hand blows or even sword blows by striking the right place at the right time, even while in motion.

Prerequisite: * Kushou・Low Wind Rising
This simple technique involves engaging an opponent’s weapon or one of their arms and moving it slightly to one side with the user’s weapon. This creates a very small opening which the user then exploits by kicking the opponent, keeping their weapon guarding the opponent’s arms.

The foundational stance of the Kushou style, Low Wind Rising involves the spinning of the user’s spear or polearm around their body constantly whilst remaining in motion. While in this stance, the user will be able to deflect projectiles with less strength than their own, while also making unpredictable movements of their spear.

D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
The user will vault themselves into the air using their polearm and then unleash a powerful blow from above. This technique is used to disorient and surprise foes as well as overpower them as it strikes with all of the user’s body weight and momentum from the spin they perform in the air in order to strike with the spear that was touching the ground moments before.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
Prerequisite: [Sword Weapons] concentration
A supplementary stance of the Kushou style, Folding the fan involves pulling back the user’s polarm and using only a portion of its length in order to engage briefly in shorter range with opponents. This sacrifices the user’s range advantage, but also allows them to more properly deal with those who get inside their range. This allows the use of a polearm weapon like a sword weapon.

This is the core technique of the Kushou Style. The user will begin in the Low Wind Rising stance and then approaches their opponent. They will begin with a wide arcing blow to begin this combination of blows. Following this they will spin their polearm and their body as they follow their opponent across the battlefield, chasing them down as they block and evade. This technique takes the user’s entire post, and can strike a number of times equal to half their speed. Those who block more than one blow will suffer a -3 to Strength for 3 posts as the weapon’s momentum and force jars their body.


* Kushou・The Swallow Rides the Wind
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: * Kushou・The Swallow Takes Flight
The user of this technique must first launch themselves high into the air as if with The Swallow Takes Flight. They will then begin to spin and unleash a flurry of blows from above. The user is capable of performing up to three strikes in the air, each of them prolonging the user’s airtime. The Swallow Rides the Wind is useful as it maintains the advantageous high ground and all of the forward momentum toward the opponent throughout all of its blows, giving the user an effective +6 Strength and -6 Control for the three blows.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
This technique is a kind of mental preparation for the constant movement and spinning involved in the Kushou style. This enables the user to gather snippets of vision, sounds and tactile sensory information in order to be properly aware of the battlefield around them whether standing still or in rapid circular motion. The user is effectively aware of their surroundings within 25m of their person, able to recognize when attacks are coming and the body positions of opponents.

While rare for a practitioner of Kushou-ryu to be on the defensive, this technique is designed to facilitate effective defence against other close ranged opponents. The user of this technique is constantly aware of distancing between the opponent and themselves and therefore will aim all of their strikes to prevent the opponent from closing the gap using their long weapon. This will make it extremely difficult for those with less skill than them to get close to the user safely without somehow neutralizing the user’s weapon.

The user of this technique will strike the ground with one end of their weapon hard, dragging it in a line. This will fling a cloud of dirt, rock and dust up into their opponent’s eyes as if the user had thrown it. The use of one end of their weapon in this enables the immediate return of the opposite end for a follow up strike at either a blinded opponent or an opponent that is quite predictably dodging the debris.

After either blocking an opponent’s strike or having one of their strikes blocked, the user will flick their weapon. Using their great leverage and range to their advantage, the user is able to skillfully dart their weapon around the opponent’s existing guard for a series of quick thrusts aimed at their torso.

Since Iaido is a style that prioritizes speed over brute strength, wise usage of the blade is paramount to the practitioner's success in the style. This Discipline represents the practitioner's knowledge of their weapon's strengths and weaknesses in combat, allowing them to use the weapon more efficiently both inside and outside of its use in Iaido techniques and avoid unnecessarily presenting their weapon's blind spots to the opponent.

D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
After practicing for a long amount of time with the concept of using both of their hands with equal skill, the user has developed a level of ambidexterity that allows them to utilize both hands equally and as effectively without any penalty. This extends to other methods of combat or simple everyday life as well.

D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): 8 Speed.
The practitioner has learned how to more quickly and efficiently sheath his blades. The practitioner can now seamlessly transition from drawing their blade to slash to sheathing their blade, allowing the practitioner to sheath their sword in half the time, up to a maximum speed equal to their Speed score, for the more rapid execution of Iaido techniques.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
The most iconic (and most basic) strike of Iaido, the practitioner quickly draws and cuts with their blade in a wide arc in one fluid motion. This simultaneous draw and attack straight from the scabbard makes Iaido well-suited for an initial surprise attack and for taking advantage of openings presented by the opponent.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
A simple yet potent defense, especially against other weapons users, the practitioner partially draws the sword from its scabbard and blocks incoming attacks with the back of their blade. This technique is ineffective against opponents with higher Strength than the practitioner's Strength.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
A defensive technique particularly useful when an opponent is close to the practitioner or is clinching them in a grapple, the practitioner grabs the hilt of their sword with a reverse grip and rams the butt or pommel of the hilt into the opponent's body, pushing the opponent back a number of meters equal to the difference between their Strength scores. Conversely, against opponents with higher Strength than their own, the practitioner can use this technique to push themselves back a number of meters equal to their own Strength score. The speed and simplicity of the attack can push opponents away and give the practitioner the needed space to set up additional attacks.

D-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 8 Speed.
A simple technique meant to cripple the target's vision, the practitioner draws the sword from its scabbard and aims a quick slash at the eyes. This technique can be done in any single direction to either target one or both of the opponent's eyes.

C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Losing the use of one's hand or arm in a fight can be a death sentence, but Iaido has found a simple, elegant response to this desperate situation. Using their free hand, the practitioner momentarily braces the edge of their sword against the inside of the scabbard before drawing. While it does not confer the instant acceleration benefit of its parent technique, this Discipline does allow the practitioner to use Iaido techniques at their normal speed even with only one hand.

C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): *[Iaido • One with the Sheath].
The practitioner has learned how to more quickly and efficiently sheath his blades even without the use of both hands. The practitioner can now sheath the blade just as quickly with one hand as could be done with two hands, and so long as the scabbard remains on their person, the practitioner will always have an exact knowledge of the position of their scabbard.

C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Using Iaido to its fullest requires a keen eye and quick reactions, enabling its users to target weaknesses and openings that their opponents present almost instantaneously. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to attack openings that present themselves, the practitioner now able to reflexively attack an opening in almost the same moment that it is observed. This Discipline reduces the gap of time between a practitioner recognizing a potential opening for attack and launching the attack to exploit said opening to almost nil.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 15 Speed.
Drawing upon the superlative speed of Iaido, the practitioner momentarily torques the muscles in their body to draw their sword from its scabbard and deliver a blindingly fast slash before sheathing their blade. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have a Perception technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. Otherwise, they cannot accurately read the attack and will be unlikely to completely avoid the attack, if at all.

C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 15 Speed.
An abnormally aggressive technique in Iaido, this technique serves as a preemptive counter, attacking the opponent in the split moment between drawing back to prepare an attack and launching said attack. Violently torquing the muscles in their legs, the practitioner more quickly accelerates to their maximum speed (or instantly accelerating to their max speed if their Strength is equal or higher than their Speed) than with normal movement. With this movement, the practitioner bolts toward the opponent and launches an attack, cutting the opponent as they pass to their side. This technique can be used while moving to immediately change direction instead before launching the attack. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have a Perception technique of equal or higher rank than this technique.


*[Iaido • Shinigami’s Wrath]
C-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 15 Speed.
A technique refining the concept of targeting multiple opponents with a single draw, the practitioner uses their sheath hand to reverse grip the hilt. Using the one hand, the practitioner quickly torques their body and cuts with a reverse hand slash a full 360 degrees before immediately sheathing the blade. This technique can strike multiple opponents at once, and the reverse grip of the sword allows the practitioner to more easily defend against counterattacks immediately after.

B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): *[Iaido • One with the Sheath], *[Iaido • One with the Sword].
Through incredible amounts of practice, the practitioner of Iaido has learned his weapon and its housing inside and out. The user of this weapon can now reflexively sheath their sword in its scabbard almost instantaneously by instinct with either one hand or both hands without even looking. This facilitates further use of other Iaido techniques.

B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite(s): 15 Strength, 25 Speed, *[Iaido • Ancestral Visage].
In order for Iaido to stand toe to toe with a variety of high-level opponents, refining fundamentals to a new height is necessary. This Discipline represents the practitioner's ability to more quickly accelerate to max movement speed and decelerate to a full stop at a moment's notice. This does not offer protection against attacks that the practitioner does not know is coming.

B-Rank Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite(s): 20 Strength, 25 Speed, *[Iaido • Death’s Gate], *[Iaido • Spectral Flight].
Building upon the premise established by the Death's Gate technique, this technique now makes it possible to use the technique against opponents at greater distances. Drawing upon the superlative speed of Iaido, the practitioner momentarily torques the muscles in their body to instantly accelerate to their maximum speed. Dashing a number of meters equal to the practitioner's Strength, they draw their sword from its scabbard and deliver a blindingly fast slash before resheathing their blade. Properly reading this attack requires the opponent to have a Perception technique of equal or higher rank than this technique. Otherwise, the opponent cannot accurately read the attack and will be unlikely to completely avoid the attack, if at all.

Born in Dragon country, Hoka was raised on a large family farm that raised both fruits and vegetables to trade with neighboring towns. One of four children, the oldest of the four, the youth was raised in a culture of hard work will bring good things to you. Even from a young age the boy worked side-by-side with his father and mother taking care of the choirs on their farm. Be it planting, tending, harvesting, or other things on the farm such as taking care of the handful of horses, Hoka was taught by his father to do all these things.

The family survived mainly off the land, where the boy learned skills from his father such as tracking, fishing, and hunting while on his mother's side he helped with things such as learning to cook, sew, and other things. While there were neighboring farms and towns where they could have traded and paid for many of these things, the youth's family preferred it this way. Being mostly self-sufficient allowed for them to teach their children how to survive in a world that could become hostile.

This very thing would happen when Hoka was still in his late preteen years, the 'Great War' breaking out not only between the grand five shinobi villages, but other large factions and samurai armies also clashed as the borders of the world map were being withdrawn. This at the cost of several lives on all sides, yet those affected just as much were those caught in the mist of these conquests, the young man's family weren't any exception to this as Shinobi from Iwa, Konoha, and samurai fought in the middle ground of the mainland which involved the area of dragon country where he lived.

Forced to flee the family found themselves in the wrong place-wrong time situation where the battlefield spilled over. Due to the war those of lesser character were allowed to remain unchecked and it was these types of low lives that targeted the fleeing family as their father and two of the younger children would ultimately lose their lives in exchange for Hoka, his youngest sibling Nina, and their mother Sakura to escape.

This loss during the war shifted the mindset and temperament of the future young warrior who developed a mindset that he would never be that powerless again, after relocating his mother and only remaining sister to relatives in the far western part of what remained of Dragon country the bow took what he could carry on his back and set off to learn about the methods of war.

Seeking not only to learn about just the sword but any weapon he could get his hands on, from close range to long range and anything in between. A sense of vengeance and righteousness mixed together as he began to train and forge himself into a soldier, a mercenary that went from place to place as he tried to learn from other samurai and warriors. And so, the journey of a young mercenary began.
