On missions he wears a heavy but loose fitting jacket with long sleeves (basically the clothes in the image minus the armor, and with long sleeves), long black pants with red knees and a white pouch on the right thigh, and white boots with red toes as opposed to the usual sandals.

Personality:
- General: Some people let a painful childhood change them for the worst, Hiro is not one of them. He is very kind and positive, definitely an optimist. He doesn't especially enjoy fighting, and dislikes hurting others but will do so when necessary. He has a good sense of humor but isn't very funny himself, and when he tries to be it often ends up being groan inducing. He's not very talkative with anyone but his close friends, but enjoys spending time with just about anyone. He is a very good listener and surprisingly insightful. He believes that the strong should use their strength to protect those weaker than themselves.
- Hopes/Dreams: To become the greatest medical ninja of all time.
- Fears: Spiders, being helpless to save someone, death.
- Combat Mentality:
- He does not kill (though he is normally deployed as a squad medic and would have no need to do so anyway).
- In fights alongside allies he mostly focuses on healing others instead of fighting the enemy.
- When he does have to fight his normal strategy is to block and absorb hits till the opponent gets tired and then go on the offensive.

In a dilapidated shrine on a small island in the Water Country there was a box. This box held an old treasure, a molten egg, and a scroll containing information on it. The egg gave off incredible levels of heat, but nothing around it burned. Fifty years ago that box disappeared without a trace.
When Tomohiro was young he was kidnapped by what he believed to be a missing nin, a man named Kaguro. He was kept prisoner for two months with no indication of why he had been taken. Three other children had been taken as well, though he had no idea. When he was finally removed from his cell things only got worse. He was taken to a room that smelled of burned flesh and death. Kaguro brought out an object and placed it on the ground before him, the molten egg. They intended to use him as a vessel for it's power. A power they could use to control those around them, and eventually if and when they fully bent him to their will, a weapon. Though all of them desired the potential power from this process none of them were willing to take the risk of going through with it, and they feared that if they used an adult that they would turn against them. A child however, they could more easily control.
After being chained to the floor the egg was placed in front of him and they left the room. It began to glow brightly as the process began. Hiro's body burned and ached as the egg consumed him, it felt like being ripped limb from limb and burned alive simultaneously. The boy wished he could die so the pain would end, but unlike the children before him he was given no such mercy. After hours of agony it ended, the process was complete and had been successful. His body collapsed, completely exhausted.
Six years passed by with Hiro as Kaguro's prisoner; they kept him in line with fear and threats. they targeted the smaller villages in the area, preying on their ignorance. They convinced the people that Hiro was a dangerous monster under their control and that they would unleash him upon them if they did not give in to their demands. If the initial threat did not work they would make him turn his body into fire and burn something small. He hated what they made him do, but had been told if he didn't cooperate that they would kill anyone who found out the truth.
In recent weeks he felt odd, like someone was watching him. He shook it off as just being a little paranoid, but soon he would find out he was right. He awoke one morning in the cage they always kept him in when he wasn't needed, and could not believe what he saw. There was blood everywhere, Kaguro's who held him captive had been horrifically slaughtered, even Kaguro himself was dead. The cage had been opened as well. Seeing his chance to finally be free he sprinted out of the cage. After only a few steps he was knocked unconscious by the one responsible for the killings. When he came to he could see Kirigakure less than a mile away. He had no idea who it was that had killed the ones who held him, but they must have known who he was and what happened to him. He could think about all of that later though, it was time for him to return to his home.
After being reunited with his family in Kirigakure he began ninja training. He quickly learned that he had a gift for Iijutsu, one that he promised himself he would use to make up for the way he had been used.

Though it simply looks like a normal body unless he's attacked or chooses to show what he really looks like. As sanitation cannot always be guaranteed in field operations, this technique provides a quick substitute to traditional sterilization methods. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will channel the chakra throughout his/her upper body (torso, arms, hands, face). This chakra will chew away at harmful bacteria and other foreign bodies on the skin, cleansing it until it is thoroughly sterile, and can be spread to objects, most commonly surgical tools. Of course, this takes both concentration and time, and in order to sterilize the entire upper body, it will take a duration of one (1) post. Users of this technique can also choose to sterilize certain parts of their upper body or the wounds of another person instead for a lesser concentration period. Once they are sanitized, they remain this way until coming in contact with more bacteria.
*Iijustsu • Oxygen Flow

Simple in its form yet highly effective in practice, the *[Iijutsu • Oxygen Flow] technique allows its users to clear obstructed airways, to perform less extensive CPR, and to give cells the oxygen they crave. After focusing chakra into the hands, the user will place both over the target's chest (through the back works as well). By allowing the chakra to be channeled throughout the lungs and up through the air ways, any unseen, solid or liquid obstructions will be cleared from these passages and ejected through the mouth, allowing the patient to breathe more easily. Additionally, the hands can be placed over the heart to help oxygenate the body's cells. In this instance, users must be much more careful, as over-oxygenating cells can cause more harm than good. This technique takes the entirety of one post to perform.

Wounds must be dealt with one at a time, and the number of wounds that can be tended to within the three (3) posts that this technique lasts depends on their size. Small wounds take very little time to clot, while moderate wounds take one (1) post of concentration to clot, and large wounds take two (2) posts to clot. Although this technique stops the bleeding, the wound remains vulnerable and will require further care after this has been performed.

Typically used to make the autopsy process smoother, the *[Iijutsu • Skin Separation] technique separates the skin of the corpse from the underlying muscle. After focusing chakra into his/her hands, the user will slowly move them over the desired area, usually holding them about an inch away from the body itself. As the chakra is channeled through the flesh, it will slowly sink to the final layer of the skin and begin to form a new layer between the skin and the muscle beneath. After this layer has fully formed, the chakra will stay there for four (4) posts, allowing the user to easily separate the flesh and muscle. This non-combat technique cannot be used on living beings as the postmortem physiology is different from that of a living creature.

To provide this soothing relief to small areas of first degree burns, it's fairly quick to do. For small areas of second degree burns, it takes one (1) post of concentration to achieve the same effects. This technique is ineffective when applied to larger areas or burns worse than second degree.

After performing a short set of handseals, the user will gently place his/her index finger at the base of the patient's wound. This is repeated until the wound has been pulled together. Although precision is key, this technique can still be performed relatively quickly. Small to moderate wounds take very little time to stitch, while large wounds will take one (1) post of work to mend. This technique drains a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attached to in order to keep the stitches going, theoretically, ad-infinitum, and can be cancelled at any time by the user with a single handseal. Any intensive or strenuous movements will cause the stitches to break.

Once applied, the selected object will adhere to the flesh around the wound, protecting it from bacteria and other harmful foreign bodies. Objects used for the bandage technique are automatically sterilized in the process. These bandages drain a minuscule amount of chakra from the person it is attatched to in order to keep them stuck on, theoretically, ad-infinitum, and can be cancelled at any time by the user with a single handseal. While not as effective at stopping bleeding as the [Iijutsu • Chakra Stitching] technique, they hold on much better in the case that strenuous movement is necessary.
