Hizashi , IDAKU
(Self-Proclaimed) Famous Swordsman of the Sand
Hizashi no Kuma

[I am the Famous Swordsman of the Sand!]

General Information Age:20
Gender: Male
Physical Features:
  • Face/head: Idaku has what some would say is a face which could only be chiseled. His tanned head is thin, with no marks or scars on it. His eyes are a light-red color. He has deep red hair, which naturally comes straight down to where his neck starts.
  • Body: Idaku’s skin color is a light-tan. He stands at 5’7, some calling him small when compared to his family. He has a muscular-lean body type, and weighs 145 pounds. He has no notable scars or marks on his body. He does try keeping himself cleanly shaven and as ‘beautiful’ as possible (hoping it will get him noticed more).

Clothing/Accessories: Idaku wears a yellow, thinner version of what a Samurai would wear, minus the arm and head pieces. Think something like this. There is an additional chest plate, which is black with a red design of the Sunagakure symbol. Underneath he wears thin clothing, which is the same color as his Samurai outfit. There are several sheathes on his back, and one on his left hip and one on the right. The special thing is that all of these hold two swords each, and the hip sheathes have a compartment for additional items.
    Personality:
    • General: Idaku is a very happy, friendly person. Idaku has the idea that he needs to be the best, and he always tries making himself better. Ever since a young child, Idaku has wanted to become the best swordsman in the world, and this has grown to give him a drive like very few others have. Idaku also, like many other Hizashi, has a deep love and respect for the village. Idaku will go out of his way to help others, complete tedious and time-consuming missions, or do tasks which aren’t assigned to him (such as cleaning up garbage or graffiti from the streets). While it may seem like pure generosity, there is a hidden motive for this as well: he hopes that people will notice him. Idaku mainly hopes to improve himself, impress others, and make the village proud.
    • Hopes/Dreams: There are only two things which stand out in Idaku’s mind as goals. One: Serve the Village Hidden in the Sand. Two: Become the best swordsman known to man. These were implanted into his head from a young age when reading story tales of Samurais and old, famous ninjas.
    • Fears: One significant fear of Idaku is rejection. If his village or peers reject him, or leave him isolated, he can find himself completely worrying or paranoid to a state where he can’t think of anything else. He is constantly trying to impress others, and this idea alone is motivation enough. In a way, he is driven by a fear.
    • Combat Mentality: Idaku fights with swords. He is a close-range fighter, who uses various sword styles to try adding variety to his arsenal. He is quick to strike first, and always willing to battle others. When it comes down to it, Idaku can switch up and use ninjutsu, but he ALWAYS is an offensive type of fighter, and is ALWAYS at the front lines of a fight.

Abilities
First Ability
Kaenton:
Kaenton, commonly called Heat Release, is the fusion release of Katon [Fire] and Fuuton [Wind]. By having this clan's bloodline, they are able to fuse the elements together, creating heat. Kaenton has to ability to heat anything, increasing it's temperature, causing burns, and introducing people to heat strokes, dehydration, and even possibly death. While Hizashi are naturally resistant to increased temperature, even they can succumb to the excessive heat of their techniques. The heat increase, and the area they can increase, is determined by the rank of techniques, making the elder Hizashi the most danger, able to create flashes of heat that can kill with ease.
Second Ability---------
Third Ability-------------
Taijutsu Specialist:
As a Taijutsu Specialist, Idaku is able to utilize taijutsu concentrations reserved for specialists, and is able to enter the God Tier [45+] on select stats, and meaning as a specialist they can select stats to break into the God tier. These stats can are Taijutsu, Stamina, Speed, and Strength
.
Concentrations
Ninjutsu
Samurai Sabre:
When a Samurai reaches a certain level of skill with their blade, They become able to force their 'spirit' into the blade and shape it as they will to allow a Kenjutsu user a greater range of attacks in comparison to normal fighters. While Shinobi recognize this as 'Chakra Flow', Samurai who master it prefer to call it 'spirit energy' and think of it as a representation of the bond between them and their blade.

Taijutsu StylesShow
Strong Fist:
This style focuses on being overall more physically powerful than your opponent. Users attempt to overwhelm defenses with great speed and strength while chipping away at their opponent’s stamina and keeping their own at the highest possible. Most attacks are simple in execution but extremely powerful in effect, causing battles of attrition to be in their favor.
Requires Upper Body & Lower Body
Toryu Kenjutsu:
Toryu Kenjutsu is a sword style originating from the Land of Pebbles that focuses on not just performing kenjutsu but also weaving close quarters style taijutsu into the bladework. Toryu's specialty is not only learning to capably slash a sword with one hand but also learning to use the hands, joints, legs and even the head to make frighteningly dangerous close quarters fighters. An inelegant style, it is commonly associated with the more 'rough' samurai but in truth it's reliance on two opposing impulses and control of the body makes it one of the more difficult Kenjutsu styles to learn. While usable with most blades, experienced fighters often prefer wakizashi, ninjato and even tanto daggers instead of katana for increased mobility.
Requires Upper Body & Sword
Shinden Kenjutsu:
Shinden Kenjutsu is a style originating in Marsh Country that emphasizes heavy and damaging slashes from positions that allow flexibility and focus. Typically the user will draw their sword and then lift it over their shoulder or head, in a downward slashing angle to allow for gravity to act as an enhancer for the blow and because of this, heavier swords such as nodachi or odachi are typical fare for the style but the moves can be done with a katana. This style also emphasizes firm and powerful body movements to deal with the lack of blade defense afforded by the stance assumed.
Requires: [Upper], [Rigid Structure], [Sword or Hafted] Concentrations
Iaido Kenjutsu:
Iaido Kenjutsu is a sword style originating from the Land of Tea that focuses on the fact that when first drawn, the linear motion and force of pulling a katana from its sheath are able to generate unusually fast slashes. Iaido capitalizes on this, it's samurai equally skilled in close range hand-to-hand fighting and then being able to switch to single fast slashes and stabs before returning to previous combat, making them unpredictable fighters.
Requires [Sword], [Perception], and [Upper Body] Concentrations

~Body Temperature Control
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
A pure channeling jutsu, the Hizashi is able to channel Kaenton chakra to parts of their body, heating them up by up to 20 degrees Celsius. This jutsu has no range and can only warm up the user's body, allowing for first degree burns on contact.

~Kaenton • Heat Aura
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
By performing a series of handseals, the clan member can increase the temperature of the air around them. This creates a 10 meter diameter area of heat centered on the clan member for the following seven posts. Anybody within the area will feel an intense heat that will usually cause them to perspire, feel thirst and in general make them uncomfortable.

~Kaenton • Minor Weapon Heating
D-ranked Ninjutsu
After doing the needed hand seals, the user floods the weapon they're holding with Kaenton chakra, raising its temperature by up to 15 degrees Celsius, causing burns on sustained contact. This temperature remains for up to 5 posts or until cancelled by the user.

~Kaenton • Mirage Clone
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After doing the needed hand seals, the user creates a distortion of heat in front of him/her. This distortion bends light in a way that makes it look like the user. It has no defensive or offensive capabilities and only looks like the user, but is still just a chakra shell with heat inside. Upon contact, the clone dissipates, releasing a cloud of heat into its immediate surroundings. The heat is hot enough to cause first degree burns. Due to the small amount of chakra needed to maintain this clone, it has a large range and is able to travel up to a mile from the user.
The clone has the following stats:
Taijutsu: 1
Stamina: 1
Strength: 1
Speed: 1

By performing a series of handseals, the clan member can increase the temperature of the air around them. This creates a 5 meter diameter area of intense heat centered on the clan member for the following Seven posts. Anybody within the area will feel an intense heat that will drain 1 stamina every 2 posts. The user is not immune to this effect, but has their stamina drained at a slower rate of 1 stamina every 4 posts. This area travels with the user at a speed of 5. If the user moves faster than 5 speed, the area will follow behind at its max speed of 5.
Samurai SaberShow
D-RankShow

*Spirit Projectile
D-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Samurai Sabre Technique
By swinging their sword at a foe and channeling chakra through their chakra coated swords, users of this technique are able to fire off a piece of their Samurai Sabre coating as a damaging projectile. While it lacks the sharpness of the weapon it is thrown from it hits like a 4 strength punch and it travels up to 10 meters from the user's sword at 6 speed.

*Weapon Shaping: Double Blade Technique
D-Rank Ninjutsu
Forming a series of one handed seals with their free hand while focusing on their weapon, the user of this technique alters the chakra coating on their weapon to extend out from the sword, forming a second blade about 6 inches in front of the first. This gives the user a distinct advantage by letting them slash twice into an opponent and making their attacks harder to block, as well as giving them the defensive edge by using the first edge to parry or block attacks, leaving their weapon unharmed. This chakra coating can handle hits up to the strength of the Samurai Sabre technique used to make it, but once broken the user must remake the coating.

*Weapon Shaping: Handguard Technique
D-Rank Ninjutsu
Forming a series of one handed seals with their free hand while focusing on their weapon, the user of this technique is able to alter the chakra coating of their weapon to work as a handguard, crawling down the hilt of their weapon and over their hand or hands if they are wielding the weapon two handed. This protects their hands from damaging attacks that might cause the user to drop their weapon, or even cause them to be unable to hold it. This chakra coating can handle enemy attacks up to the strength of the Samurai Sabre technique used to make it, but once broken the user must remake the coating.

*Weapon Shaping: Spear-Blade Technique
D-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Samurai Sabre Technique
Forming a series of one-handed seals with their free hand while focusing on a weapon shape different from their own, the user of this technique is able to alter the chakra coating of their weapon to put more chakra out of the tip of their weapon to create a one foot long spearhead shape out of the tip of their weapon. This gives them a distinct range advantage while limiting the coating along other sections of the weapon, making other parts of the weapon more vulnerable. This chakra coating can handle enemy attacks up to the strength of the Samurai Sabre technique used to make it, but once broken the user must remake the coating.
C-RankShow

*Samurai Sabre Technique
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisites: 10 Control
This is the fundamental technique in the samurai sabre style. The user channels chakra into their weapon which increases the size of the weapon overall by 1 inch per 3 points of control the user has, to a maximum of 6 inches. The enhanced weapon will give off a faint blue glow while also increasing the durability of the weapon. This increased durability can handle hits up to 10 strength before dissipating and cancelling the technique. This technique lasts as long as the user channels or maintains chakra into their weapon.

*Shark Blade Technique
C-Rank Ninjutsu
Prerequisite: Samurai Sabre Technique
By channeling chakra into their weapon in addition to the already active chakra shell of their weapon, the user is able to make pieces of the shell grow erratic and instead of cutting, the chakra shell of the Samurai Sabre technique will grow rough and grating when applied to skin in addition to its normal cutting edge. Wounds caused will be far messier and do secondary damage in addition to the initial swing. This chakra coating can handle enemy attacks up to the strength of the Samurai Sabre technique used to make it, but once broken the user must remake the coating.

General TaijutsuShow

Movement Mastery - Roll
D- Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Acrobatics

This technique allows the user to move away from any combat scene with a quick roll in any direction at the speed of [User’s Speed/2]. The technique is one with both offensive and defensive abilities, used to either avoid a strike or to get in position to get an advantage in combat.

Movement Mastery - Kip-Up
D-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: Acrobatics

This technique allows a grounded user to hop up to his feet in one swift motion. This does not take away any damage or disorientation they may have taken to get grounded. This is simply a quicker, flashier way to stand after taking a fall.

Ambidexterity
D- Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite: 10 Instinct

This technique allows the user to use both hands equally, making there be no lesser skilled hand. This skill allows them to wield items and do any other action requiring the hands to take no reduction to skill upon switching to an opposite hand.
Strong FistShow
D-RankedShow

*[Strong Fist Style • Balance]
D-Ranked Taijutsu Stance
A neutral stance taken by even entry level practitioners. This stance involves turning your body to be perpendicular to your opponent. One foot is rested directly in front of the other with just the toes in contact with the ground. A hand is held back while the other is forward, pointing up. This stance provides ease of dodging incoming blows by using the least amount of motion possible while still being ready to launch into an attack.

*[Strong Fist Style • One Inch Punch]
D-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
When fighting in close quarters it becomes difficult to generate energy for full powered strikes. Practitioners have learned how to explode force from every muscle with minimal energy wasted and space needed. Every strike done by the practitioner has the potential to be at full strength, so long as they have at least one inch of movement.
C-RankShow

*[Strong Fist Style • Great Leaf Flash]
C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: *[Strong Fist Style • Balance]
The user will tense the muscles in their lower body to a great degree. Doing so causes them to briefly become immobile but creates an enormous amount of pent up energy. By bringing their back leg forward in a straight kick they release all of this energy in a single explosive burst. This can take out a lot of defenses and unless they’re supported by outside forces will knock a kicked foe back a number of yards equal to the difference in their strength and the practitioner's.
ToryuShow
D-RankShow
*[Toryu • Close Quarters]
D- Ranked Kenjutsu Stance
Prerequisite: 5 Taijutsu
The signature stance of the style, Close Quarters teaches users of this style how to rapidly change the angle, position and even grip of their weapon without moving their hand from it's signature position at the user's waist for maximum versatility. Users of this style often assume a one foot forward, one back, slightly swayed stance to free up movement as well at the expense of leaving their center open.

*[Toryu • Lunging Feint]
D-Ranked Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 5 Speed
A basic technique of the style wherein the user moves in for a basic lunge-thrust with their weapon, only to turn in mid thrust and attempt to sweep their leg under the opponent's own. This tends to be useful as a basic feint and can usually knock down those with less strength than the user who get caught by it.

*[Toryu • Guard Break]
D-Ranked Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 5 Strength
After rushing in on a foe and initiating an attack the user waits for the opponent to guard, either with arm or weapon, before quickly lashing out with their hand or pommel of their blade and attempting to smash the guarding hand or arm aside with a wrist smash. The pain as well as damage can interrupt the guard of opponents, leaving them wide open for the initial attack to hit.

*[Toryu • Limb Lock]
D-Ranked Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: *[Toryu • Close Quarters] , 5 Taijutsu
A dangerous close quarters 'option closer', the Toryu user will sweep in close and try to slam their foot down on an opponent's as well as quickly sweep their arm around the opponent's to lock their elbow with the user's own. This technique is usually utilized for setting up blows or blocking off the weapons of dual-wielding foes and it forces the opponent to break out of the move before counter-attacking.
C-RankShow

*[Toryu • Sweep Cutter]
C-Ranked Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 15 Taijutsu
During close quarters or after engaging a foe via a rush, the user quickly forces themselves back as they divert body weight downwards typically causing a quick and controllable slide under the opponent's field of control, usually between the legs or to the side. During this slide the user attempts slashes, stabs or even hooks or drags the opponent down with them to open up for more techniques or just deal considerable damage.

*[Toryu • Disregard of Fear]
C-Ranked Kenjutsu Discipline
Prerequisite: 15 Instinct
Many of the Toryu techniques would put the user in incredibly daring positions where a single mistake could instantly spell disaster for the swordsman. As a result, Toryu practitioners must train themselves constantly to avoid letting their fears distract them from their task. A user with this technique has learned to shut out fear in the heat of combat, allowing them to perform their death defying attacks without the risk of failure due to fear responses.

*[Toryu • Staggering Knee Strike]
C-Ranked Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 15 Taijutsu, 15 Strength
The user quickly dashes into an opponent's range while delivering a quick knee strike to the target's solar plexus in an attempt to stagger the opponent. The aim is to get the target to lean forward while holding their gut, opening up the many vulnerable areas of the back, neck and skull to various possible finishing moves
ShindenShow
D-RankShow
*Shinden • Stream Splitting
D-Rank Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 10 Strength
Lifting their sword above their head the user of this technique drives it down in one fluid motion with their blade aimed to slash through or into whatever they are attacking. The force of this technique is amplified by the fact that their stance is aimed to enhance muscle tension and torque, allowing them to make the single slash a very powerful one.

*Shinden • Branch Cleaver
D-Rank Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 10 Strength
While the basic techniques of Shinden revolve around heavy slashes from standing positions this technique is about harnessing the same destructive potential while moving. Rushing at a foe quickly, the user slashes in a downward motion in order to maintain momentum. The sword is typically swung from right to left or from left to right instead of straight down, the attack usually stopping at waist level to keep from potentially stumbling. While less destructive than some Shinden techniques, it still retains utility in battles of movement.

*Shinden • Fake Out
D-Rank Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 10 Strength
A technique designed to interrupt foes; the user pulls their hands up on their sword to expose more of the hilt while in typical Shinden stance. Once an opponent comes within range, the user yanks the hilt down in a smashing manner against the foe or a similar target. Afterwards, the user follows with a less damaging downward slash at a foe, making this effective for surprise purposes.

*[Shinden • Sword Shield]
D-Rank Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 10 Strength
As most Shinden users wield rather large blades, The user of this technique has trained themself to use the width of their blade as a sort of shield, using it to deflect most small weaponry and block blows reliably. Users should be very liberal with the use of this technique, as too strong a blow could damage their weapon and render it useless, while too thin a weapon makes the use of this technique more difficult than one with a wider blade.
C-RankShow

*Shinden • Form Improvement
C-Rank Kenjutsu Stance
Prerequisite: 15 Strength
The user assumes a somewhat curved stance by drawing one elbow down and bending it back so that the sword points straight up above the user with the left hand at cheek level and the right hand at eye level. This shifts the sword into pointing straight up instead of curved in any direction, allowing for firm and quick slashes and thrusts. This stance also allows the user to recover from an attack at a greater speed, preserving the user's defensive position without sacrificing the power behind their attacks.

*Shinden • Grounding Blade
C-Rank Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 15 Strength
The user he blade of their sword into the ground and then slashes sideways creating a fairly deep deep crater, around five inches, in the ground in front of them, kicking up a splash of rocks and dust to blind and harry foes. The user then lunges into their foe with an attempt to knock them over or slash at their legs. Foes with at least equal Strength to the user can avoid being knocked over and can maintain ground, preventing the follow-up slash.

*Shinden • Shield of Swings
C-Rank Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 15 Strength, 15 Taijutsu
The user will swing their blade in a seemingly wild fashion without truly aiming to connect with a target, at least not with any real accuracy. While it seems to be totally uncalculated to the untrained eye, the user is in fact swinging their weapon in such a way to protect themselves from other attacks while making their approach. By swinging the blade in large circles around their body, they create a whirlwind of strikes that not only serve to bat away blows of lesser strength, but can easily tear apart an opponent on a direct hit.
IaidoShow
D-RankShow

*[Iaido • Block]
D-Rank Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 8 Speed
A technique developed out of need to protect himself from other weapon users, Block is simple in its use, but highly effective when used right. By partially drawing their sword, the user of this technique is able to use the back of their blade to block incoming weapon attacks should they time it correctly. The user must be careful when using this technique, should the attacker have a high enough strength, this technique could very well shatter the user's weapon.

*[Iaido • Hilt Strike]
D-Rank Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 8 Speed
A simple technique, Hilt Strike is designed for moments when the target is to close for the user to fully draw their sword. Gripping their hilt in a downward dagger position, the user will quickly draw their blade out as far as they can, and use the butt of the hilt to strike their target in an attempt to push them back and set them up for their other attacks.

*[Iaido • Cutting The Eyes]
D-Rank Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 8 Speed
A simple, yet very effective technique, Cutting The Eyes is a Line Draw aimed at the target's eyes. The user attempts to horizontally slash the target's eyes in order to remove their eyesight.

*[Iaido • Line Draw]
D-Rank Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 8 Speed
The technique is recognized by its signature stance of one hand just below the opening of the katana sheath and the other firmly on the sword. Drawing the sword in one swift motion, the user creates a horizontal or vertical slash in front of themselves before sheathing the sword, often chaining these strikes together for greater effect.
C-RankedShow
*[Iaido • Clash Draw]
C-Rank Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 15 Speed, 10 Instinct
In this technique, the user assumes a firm stance and then draws their weapon in an upward arc. This sort of draw makes it easy to bat away projectiles moving at a Speed equal to or lower than the user's Speed and Instinct stats. This also enables the user to cut through advancing techniques or to clash with an opponent's weapon. This movement, however, may leave the user without the ability to sheath his weapon for some time, limiting the effectiveness of their techniques until they can

*[Iaido • Double Back Draw]
C-Rank Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 15 Speed
The technique realizes the concept of a draw's momentum increasing attack speed rather than the technique of drawing itself. With this concept, the user draws their weapon and then makes an upwards slash followed by a second downward slash, and then an immediate re-sheath. This causes two deep diagonal cuts in the direction of the draw and re-sheath that happen near instantaneously.

*[Iaido • Snap Draw]
C-Rank Kenjutsu Maneuver
Prerequisite: 15 Taijutsu, 15 Speed
With a honed body capable of producing torque within the user's muscles, the user is capable of achieving a 'Blurred Sword' effect in an attack. The user draws their sword with such speed and power that the strike itself is incredibly difficult to notice without a high amount of instinct.

History
Historical AccountsShow
Born to Suko and Achi Hizashi, Idaku lived a normal life. His father was a local stand-owner (selling cooked meats), and his mother was a Medic who worked in the hospitals, not the battlefield. Idaku never had a reason to worry about his parents dying like some of the other kids had to. He could have lived a simple, quiet life just like his mother and father, however something stirred him from that path.

Being a Hizashi led Idaku to work in the libraries of Suna, and while looking through the collections they have there, Hizashi discovered samurai. He fell in love with the idea of the swordsmen, and over time grew more and more to wanting to be like them. This love led to him telling his parents to enlist him in the Hizashi Academy. His journey to be a swordsman was officially started!

Idaku had it easy through the academy, passing through it like any other successful student did. Upon graduating, he was tutored by a Chuunin named Ario Zumo, a swordsman who took pride among his skills. It was with him where Idaku learned most of his sword skills, and where he picked up a confident attitude many would confuse for an ego.

Ario would teach Idaku about the idea of fame, too. Ario wasn't a very well-known man in the village, though he always tried to be. He received a kick even from a generous thank-you for doing a simple job (such as helping an old lady carry groceries). Idaku would take up a similar mindset, and the Chuunin and Genin almost became identical minus the Hizashi appearance and abilities of Idaku.

The Genin had done very few 'dangerous' missions before taking the Chuunin exams for the first time. During the fight (which was with a Henrin), Idaku was beaten, and didn't prove himself enough to pass. He was frustrated initially, though Ario saw this and sent him away to train for a month back to the Hizashi compound. Here, he would learn various techniques from his clan that his mentor couldn't teach him. Coming back a second time, the Hizashi proved himself worthy of Chuunin rank against a skilled Puppet user, not only defeating him, but being accepted into C Rank.

The two swordsmen, now both Chuunin, worked side-by-side until Ario was given an A-Rank mission. This would split them up, as Idaku wasn't prepared for it, and they went separate paths. Idaku worked around the village, building a small reputation for himself and getting to know local villagers on a personal level. He also went out doing various C and B Ranked missions, building up a reputation with the Higher-Ups of Suna as well.

After three long years of being a Chuunin, Idaku requested a ranking up, as he felt he was ready. The mission was one that Idaku didn't quite expect. A retrieval mission to bring home Ario, who had sent a letter back home claiming to be stuck and trapped where a band of Missing-Nin have made themselves home.

The mission took two months to completely do including the travel time, however Idaku found where the Missing-Nin were, and scared most of them away. Several of them were D-Rank followers from various countries, though the leader (and the one keeping Ario hostage) was a B-Ranked Missing Nin who left Suna years and years ago during a mission. After freeing Ario, Idaku fought the Missing-Nin off, killing him in the process. It was Idaku's first human kill.

Upon returning home, Idaku was granted the promotion.
