New Member bonus

I was just told new member bonus multiplier and training multiplier doesnt stack

This feels like a really bad constraint.
I could do 5 training threads with my brand new char, as is going to happen with most any new players chars, and never get to benefit from the new member bonus.

in order to use it before I lost it, I'd need to participate in 5 socials first... not only somehow wrangling someone for 5 threads (whether the same person or 5 people) but id have to hope they are active posters AND I'd need to avoid training threads until I hit 5 socials as well.
Which feels REALLY weird for a new character. to hell with hitting the weights to be a useful and productive member of shinobi society... go get tea and have a picnic with someone. Ya, thats the way... the ninja way.

Really, its only 5 threads that get the bonus too... and only for new players and not new characters.
