Get Ova Here Sonny! [Mission]

A frail old man of about sixty-nine stood at the front of his property. His property was a nice place, green grass that was uniformly cut with flowers placed in front of the porch and patio. The house itself was a nice two story place with a red paint job as a main color and a dark blue as the secondary that framed windows and doors.

The man himself was about 5 feet 9 inches and leaned on his cane. A pair of eye glasses adorned his face and his white sweat shirt and blue sweat pants hung off his frame loosely. Crazy old people and their weird fashions.

His wife was in side making a fresh pitcher of lemonade and in front of the frail looking man sat three buckets of navy blue paint. The old man turned and walked back up to the patio, sitting in his chair and closing his eyes. Seems he trusts you to get to work with him having to nag you constantly.

Walking up the path leading to the old timer's house was the Genin who had taken the mission of painting the older gentleman's fence, though this D-Ranked Mission that he had taken seemed to almost be too easy in a way. "Here, paint this fence and then you'll get your reward" was how this mission looked from the outside looking in, though there probably was only one obstacle to the whole mission, and that probably was the elderly man was going to nag Zephyr so that he would get the job done right.

As the Genin arrived at the front of the house, he walked up to the porch where the Elderly man was standing at at the moment, before pulling out the notepad that he kept on the inside of his jacket and ripping out a page of it, before arriving at the steps that led up to the porch and handed the man the page. On it said "I'm Takeshi, Zephyr, the Genin who took your job. I assume that the fence and paint is right there?" Once he assumed the man had read that far, he pointed to the un-painted fence and then the paint in turn. He looked back at the man, hoping he was right.

And boy was he right. The old man was going to nag him if he saw him going to fast or slow on the project. That would get really annoying.

The old man narrowed his eyes and glared at the kid. Yeah, that was the job. Paint the damn fence.

"So yer a mute? Huff..At least there won't be a lot of back talk..Yes, you're to paint the damn fence. I trust you to be able to paint it without messing up. Now go before the heat gets to the paint."

Zephyr simply nodded to both things that were said, before turning and going down the steps to the paint, kneeling next to the paint cans before taking out a kunai and prying the lid off of one on the left. Reaching over, he picked up a paintbrush [OOC: that I assume is there] and taking it firmly in his hand before dipping it into the paint slightly, to test the consistency of the paint, before picking up the paint can by it's handle and taking it over next to the fence, for easy access.

After dipping the paint brush into the paint, he turned and put it against the fence, doing a vertical paint stroke on the fence, slowly at first so that he could get a feel for the paint, before going at a more fast pace, though it was more of a medium speed than anything. Once the paint from the first dip of the paintbrush was mostly gone, the Genin turned and dipped the paintbrush into the paint again, before repeating the process of vertical painting.

The old man just sat there, content with how the genin followed what he had said and had started painting the fence. He was also content with the speed he was moving at, too slow and he would've been disappointed but too fast may have angered him.

The Genin followed the same speed at painting as he had been for a while, keeping at the same speed, when the paint would run low in the paintbrush, reaching over and dipping it in paint so that he could still keep painting. It was almost like the teen had been practicing the same motions over and over again, almost seeming robotic in nature, though everyone knows that those weren't around at that time.

[OOC: It's fine, it IS only a D-rank mission. They're usually boring and slow anyway.]

The old man frowned, the boy still had two more large sections of fence he had to paint. The old man got up from his chair and walked to the inside limit of the fence. He looked at the kid and then to the rest of the fence.

"Ya know, I trust ya enough to move a bit faster now since you've been doing this for a while now." The man mumbled before going back to his chair and sitting down, closing his eyes again.
