Physical Features:
  • Face/head: Yoshinori's head is covered in black hair that has a reddish tint to it, making it seem lighter than its true color. It is cut to a medium length and styled so as to not get into his eyes during fights. His head is of normal size and his jawline is already starting to come in due to the little amount of baby fat left on his body due to his childhood. His eyes are blue and cold like ice to those who he deems untrustworthy or those he may deem a threat. This color shifts into a more sky blue once he is around those he has grown up around and/or trusts with his life.
  • Body: His chest is well-muscled for a shinobi of his age and his broad shoulders connect to long, muscular arms, giving him a nice reach when it comes to taijutsu battles or just straight up brawls. His hands are large and when he curls his fist they seem to become like bricks. His stomach is flat and shows off his developed abdominal muscles. Yoshinori has strong, sinewy legs that round off the rest of his features.
  • Notable Features: Yoshinori has several bite scars on his forearms and shins due to his training.
Clothing/Accessories: His clothing matches his clothing and eyes. His primary color scheme is black with navy blue accents accompanying each piece of clothing he wears. He wears a black shirt underneath a black vest which has black patches on its shoulders. On his forearms, he wears dark blue steel bracers that are able to aid him in defending against light projectiles. His pants are black with navy blue stripes running up the sides. They are loose around his crotch and buttocks but taper into more slimming legs which are then tucked into his shinobi sandals. These go up until the top of his shin and are secured with black bandages. Yoshinori's headband is sewed into the light blue sash that wraps around his waist and helps to keep his pants up. In regards to his equipment, Yoshinori wears two holsters and a single pouch atop his buttocks.
Personality:
  • General: Yoshinori is unlike his parents. They were both warm and bubbly but it seems, on the outside at least, that he has inherited the worst of their respective personalities. He's quiet, preferring not to talk to those he deems untrustworthy as that would give them some semblance of power over him. However, a small handful of people do know the other side of him. The side that he did receive from his mother and father. Once he's comfortable, he becomes someone else entirely. His entire demeanor shifts and one is able to see he is truly his father's son.
  • Hopes/Dreams: He wishes to find out the truths of this world and become strong enough to seek out the answers himself.
  • Fears: To die before his time.
  • Combat Mentality: Yoshinori's cold perspective in battle allows him to analyze his opponents and try to break down their strengths and weaknesses. From there, he will attempt to exploit what he believes to be their weakness in order to win. Yoshinori believes his fists are his greatest aid in helping exploit those weaknesses. He is not fond of using weapons besides projectiles and will only pick up a blade if the pros heavily outweigh the cons.

Passive (Erosion)Show
Sankaton is an incorporeal element that comes in the form of a fine red haze, that exudes warmth, and has the ability to erode. Anything physical that comes in contact with Sankaton is eaten by the energy, which consumes the Sankaton. This gives Sankaton incredibly powerful offensive and defensive capabilities. Sankaton jutsu are notoriously draining, and are known to push the user to the absolute limit. Sankaton jutsu are limited in size by their control prerequisite, which can make them difficult to use effectively. Sankaton is unaffected by energy based elements, and the two simply pass through them. This makes Sankaton's strength, and its weakness non-matter based elements.

Katon Affinity
A character with this concentration is able to utilize Katon, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Katon affinity. Katon has a passive ignition effect.
Passive (Ignition)Show
Katon's effect is ignition, which means that all katon jutsu, regardless of effect, start and spread fire from their source. Once a jutsu has been performed, the fire from the jutsu spreads at 1/3rd the speed of the technique, rounded down. That means a C-rank katon jutsu that moves at 13 speed would create subsequent fires that spread at 4 speed. These secondary fires require flammable material to continuously spread, otherwise they will burn out on their own. Additionally, Katon jutsu have a Burning effect, and burn anyone they come in contact with with [Control] strength.
Fuuinjutsu:
The user is able to utilize Fuuinjutsu, allowing them to create, draw, and read seals generated through chakra. This concentration allows for the user to utilize Barrier, Augment and Dimensional Fuuinjutsu

A neutral stance taken by even entry level practitioners. This stance involves turning your body to be perpendicular to your opponent. One foot is rested directly in front of the other with just the toes in contact with the ground. A hand is held back while the other is forward, pointing up. This stance provides ease of dodging incoming blows by using the least amount of motion possible while still being ready to launch into an attack.

In this technique, the user builds momentum and speed in order to bridge the gap between themselves and a distanced target. After covering an appropriate distance, the user then lets loose a form of distraction, like a thrown object, in order to misdirect the target's attention. The user then leaps with their momentum, delivering a strong kick to bridge the rest of the distance.

Because distances tend to become the problem in most taijutsu, the practitioner will advance with every strike. This creates a tempo of advancement that is designed to wear down their opponent through ever pressing strikes, giving little chance for escape or recovery.

When fighting in close quarters it becomes difficult to generate energy for full powered strikes. Practitioners have learned how to explode force from every muscle with minimal energy wasted and space needed. The user will tense the muscles in their lower body to a great degree. Doing so causes them to briefly become immobile but creates an enormous amount of pent up energy. By bringing their back leg forward in a straight kick they release all of this energy in a single explosive burst. This can take out a lot of defenses and unless they’re supported by outside forces will knock a kicked foe back a number of yards equal to the difference in their strength and the practitioner's.

A combination attack started by the user unleashing a powerful kick to either side of their opponent. They will then place themselves behind the target and unleash a quick flurry of punches before kicking another side and repeating the process. This process can keep going ad infinitum or until the practitioner disengages.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Maneuver
An attack that is slow to wind up but powerful in execution. The adept tenses every muscle in their shoulders and arms while twisting their core for a powerful strike. For the 1/4 post they spend winding up they're treated as having a -6 speed. However, when the strike is released it comes nearly instantly and at a +6 strength.

Prerequisite: (Instinct+Taijutsu)/2 greater than opponent's taijutsu
A disrupting kick that can be launched from nearly any position. This kick is delivered quickly and at 3/4 strength but is aimed at any possible opening and extremely difficult to defend against, quickening the tempo the practitioner is keeping.

An often difficult attack to accomplish but good for setting up a string of further attacks. The user will sweep low, attempting to kick their target's feet from beneath them. Before they fall, a second kick will attempt to launch them airborne a number of meters equal to the difference in the practitioner's strength from their target.

This style of fighting seeks to emulate the movements of animals. Those skilled in its use can make quick strikes as a snake, powerful takedowns as the bear, or devastating charges as the bison. A true master will know how to combine each of these into a cohesive and dangerous combat art.

The user takes a stable stance with their arms wide and their legs slightly past their shoulders. They are turned slightly so either shoulder is facing their opponent. This stance emphasizes powerful sweeping blows that are designed to break bones and cause great damage. Defense is resilience and forcing through to cause your own strikes to land through theirs.

The user's stance is low and focused on fluidity. They advance with each attack given or received, dodging to the left or right rapidly but always closing the gap. Once closed they attack with rapid, if unaimed, strikes focused on overwhelming their opponent.

This stance is focused on resilient defenses at the sacrifice of nearly all offensive ability. The user holds their hands open and their body perpendicular to their target. They use their strongest points to absorb incoming damage, protecting their core. Often they will grab or redirect attacks to simulate them sliding off a turtle's shell.

This is a neutral state that is often the start of most combat. It consists of feet spread shoulder width and arms held in a prayer-like position. They focus their senses to best understand which stances will be needed, and cleanse their habits from other stances to better emulate their next one.

The user makes a string of rapid attacks aimed at the collarbone, throat, and shoulder. They focus more on speed than power, causing each attack to be slightly weak but still damaging and very draining. If the user has more strength than their opponent the collarbone will be broken, the shoulder severely bruised and difficult to move, and they will have trouble breathing.

Prerequisite: *Totem Style • Bear's Endurance
The user charges forward in a surge of speed for momentum. When able they will bring both arms around in powerful slams to either side of their target's body. From here they will lift them up over their head before coming back down in a powerful slam against the ground. If done right their opponent will most likely have broken ribs and a shattered spine or skull.

Prerequisite: *Totem Style • Tiger's Hunt
The user makes a full sprint at their target, using their legs to rapidly move to the left or right of any incoming attacks. Once there they will leap at them with full force, aiming to place themselves on top of their opponent, using their body to push them down. If this works they will unleash a flurry of strikes to take full advantage of the situation and end the fight quickly.

The user will use their open hands and forearms to slow the momentum of incoming physical attacks. They will then angle and push against to force the attack behind them and away. While not complex, this nearly negates all damage from physical attacks that aren't pierce of slash based.

C-Ranked Taijutsu Discipline
The user focuses on their animal spirits and drops into a pseudo-meditative state. They focus their mind against goading and unnecessary internal distraction. While like this they have a lessened sense of self, seeing themselves as a vessel through which the animal spirits flow. However, they are more capable of switching between their stances with absolute fluidity, often doing so mid action.

D-Ranked Fuuinjutsu
A truly unique move in that it can be used alongside other Fuuinjutsu, by channeling into their finger as they draw in the air directly in front of them, the user releases raw chakra the lingers for a small amount of time, allowing it to be used as a seal formula. Alternatively the user can also do hand seals and place their hands forward, causing a seal to burst to life in the air in front of them. This technique consumes chakra equal to the cost of the technique.

D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After performing the necessary hand seals, the user will hold their hand over a seal, and begin to remove it. This removal will be successful as long as the user has more [Control] than that of which the Fuuinjutsu was sealed with.

*[Dimensional Fuuinjutsu • Tool Storage]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
After drawing a seal formula on a surface, ensuring it is large enough for the object that is about to be stored. The user will then begin placing the object into the seal. The user can only seal objects up to their ([Control])m^3 in size.

*[Augment Fuuinjutsu • Explosive Device]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user will draw a fuuinjutsu seal on the surface of an object. Should the seal be activated with [Chakra Kai] it will explode with [Control] strength of whoever performed the [Chakra Kai].This destroys the object the seal is placed on.

*[Barrier Fuuinjutsu • Simple Barrier]
D-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user will draw a fuuinjutsu up to [Control] meters in diameter. Upon activation with kai, the fuuinjutsu will produce a barrier with [Control] strength. The barrier is a basic cube and has no special properties.

*[Dimensional Fuuinjutsu • Storage Strike]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
Used in conjunction with storage seals, the user will perform [Kai] on a seal causing it to launch an object stored within it, as if they were thrown at a strength of the user’s [Control]. The three objects will be released in a small spread, only a few inches apart from each other.

*[Fuuinjutsu • Tattoo]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user can inscribe fuuinjutsu on a surface to have a ‘permanent’ quality. While standard Barrier and Augment fuuinjutsu disappear after usage, fuuinjutsu applied with this technique remain after deactivation. The user must pay full chakra to re-activate the technique, but this allows them to maintain techniques that are more effective with multiple uses

C-Ranked Ninjutsu
After drawing the necessary seals on the object, the user will imbue the object with a strength equal to their [Control]. The size of this fuuinjutsu is contextual in terms of the object it is applied to and the strength it is enhanced to. For example, if imbued with 50 strength the object will have 90% of its surface space covered, while if only imbued with 25 strength roughly under half of its surface space would be taken up by the seal.

*[Barrier Fuuinjutsu • Freeforme]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user must create between 3 and 10 seals, within any 3 sequence of seals being within 30m of each other. Once the seals a placed, the user(s) perform [Kai] on all the seals simultaneously. This will create a barrier with [Control] strength that will encircle the escribed seals, creating a shape based on how many seals there are, with each seal being a vertex for the planes that connect to it. This allows users to create barriers that go around specific obstacles or have specific shapes.

*[Dimensional Fuuinjutsu • Link]
C-Ranked Ninjutsu
By performing the necessary hand seals, the user will then touch their target’s ear and on the lips, this creates a dimensional space that works as an audio link between themselves and any targets they personally place this seal combination on. While hearing is always active, channeling chakra into the seal allows affected targets to speak, their words being stored and transmitted to the other seals. The act of speaking charges negligent chakra.

*[Dimensional Fuuinjutsu • Sudden Escape]
S-Ranked Ninjutsu
The user must draw two copies of this fuuinjutsu, most often one they carry on themselves and one they place at a location outside of combat. Upon performing [kai] on one of the seals, it will open and the user is able to vanish into it. When they do, the opposite seal will automatically activate and force the user out of it, allowing them to instantly teleport to the location. Anyone the user is touching upon activation will move with them as well, if they do not resist. The seals must be within [Control]m of each other in order for this technique to work, otherwise it fails.

After performing the correct hand seals the user draws in a deep breath before exhaling out a 1 foot diameter fireball at the opponent. It travels up to 10 meters away at [Control] speed and strength.

By channeling katon chakra into a metal weapon or blade, the user will cause it to grow hotter and cover the blade in flames. The imbued weapon will be able to carve through defenses of [Control] or less strength with ease.

After performing the correct hand seals the user draws in a deep breath before exhaling out a cone that is up to five meters long and three meters wide at it's base. The cone travels at a speed equal to [Control] and impacts with a strength equal to [Control].

D-Ranked Sankaton Ninjutsu
Rather than using hand seals, the ninja is required to put their hands in a specific formation, as if gripping a basketball with each hand. As they do this, a .5x.5x.5m diameter film of pure Sankaton chakra is created in the space between their hands. The film can then be moved around and controlled within a 10m area of the user, weakening the strength of anything that passes through it by [Control] strength, and causing anything smaller than the film to completely disappear.

The user will do a series of hand seals, causing Sankaton to form around one of their hands. The next time their hand comes in contact with something, the Sankaton to flush forward to it, causing burns on contact, and eroding with [Control] Strength. This jutsu can be risky as it's possible for the user to accidentally touch themselves with the Sankaton.

Whenever this ball comes in contact with any physical substance, it eats and corrodes the substance, instantly destroying whatever it hits, but only equal to the volume of the ball, where it hit, otherwise eroding it with [Control] Strength.

Tei, Kawa was a notable bannin and Hokage candidate at the young age of 24. He had blitzed through the rankings of the shinobi system and had reached bannin at 19 years old. He was friendly and easy to talk to. He didn't come from any clan so the common people saw him as a champion of sorts. Someone who they related to.

He was struck down attempting to save a defector from Iwagakure no Sato alongside two fellow shinobi. His killers were Fushinkou, Yaku and Enma. Two S-rank missing ninja who had invaded Konohagakure no Sato weeks before and were coming back for more. He gave his life to prevent them from coming back and getting the defector.

He was a hero.

Little did anyone know, he had secretly married. His wife was tied to civilian council of Konoha and someone he had met on an earlier mission which had spanned into a series of mission. They had fallen in love. They had a small ceremony after the Invasion and were wed. It wasn't public so very few knew of the marriage. Kawa's genin team mates, his best friend, and her cousin being the only one who actually knew. The cousin had found out by accident, sniffing them out one day as the ceremony went on and becoming an accessory. The pair consummated their marriage and on that night, Kawa's wife was on the road to pregnancy.

She found out months after his death. Financially, she was fine. Her family's connections and the money Kawa had left after his death were enough to support them four times over. But she had felt something was off about his death and kept it hidden. Paranoia of the highest caliber.

The child was born healthy and she survived. He had a mixture of their hair but his eyes were exactly like his father's and every time Nori looked into them, she saw the man she loved. The man who had given his life. She dedicated her life to making sure Yoshinori would be loved even though he was missing his father.

As Yoshinori grew up, he was trained by the people who knew of him to be his father's son. He learned ninjutsu under a Nara and was pushed to the limits of his physical body by two Inazuka members. He gained several scars from one bastard of a dog as he grew up.

Yoshinori grew up strong and entered the Academy at age 6, like all others. He graduated a year early at 11. It was no surprise to those who knew of his lineage. Then, his family members continued to help him train until he was ready to advance in rank.
