General Information Type: House
Village: Crescent Coalition
Size: medium (4-5 families)
Traits:Intelligent children with a knack for assisting, Avians are generally more laidback and in lean form due to all the running they tend to do, although there have been rounder avians throughout history.
Traditions: Avian tradition is to wake up early and clean up before they go on a hunt, their lives consist of training herbalism, genjutsu, ninjutsu, and finally taijutsu. Living high up the towers they also utilize their broom as their main source of combat and transportation.
Influence: The Avians have significant power within the households, holding the most heads in the council next to the Lupine, their relationship with the Aguin house is not on the best terms, nor are they particularly fond of Lupine either but considers them an enemy of their enemy.
History The Avians started out as a small faction within the Lupine over 1200 years ago, back when there were five great houses, throughout the years the orphanage continued to race over who could raise the perfect orphans, until the Great War between the houses occurred, allowing the Avians to break off the Lupines and seize control over the rooftops, here they nested for the last 1100 years, raising the what they believed to be the best aviators the world has seen, though, before the second Great War, they mostly forbid their students of using magic outside the school due to changes in the world the rules have changed.

The Avian house teaches the fundamental skill of [Aerial Combat], which indicates the user's proficiency to efficiently utilize Aerial Combat, this allows the user to master the art of fighting while in the air, whether it's through flight jutsu or hovering, the user is unhindered and fights like a natural in the skies. This facilitates their use of related Taijutsu.

Avian
D-Rank NinTaijutsu Manuevre
A simple Nintaijutsu that allows the user to run in the air as they create small barriers under their feet that are capable of carrying triple their weight, these barriers seize to exist once they lift their foot, this jutsu lasts for as long as the user channels chakra to their feet.

Kip-up
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
A simple discipline that allows the user to always stay on their feet, whenever they fall they either roll up with the momentum or bounce back with a kip up. This mindset is maintained for as long as the user keeps the combat philosophy in their mind.

Chin Checker
D-Rank Taijutsu Manoeuvre
The user begins by sliding forward in a three-point stand before launching the target in the air by kicking them underneath their chin, hence the name, "Chin Checker".

Axe Fall
D-Rank Taijutsu Manuevre
If the user finds themselves in the air and the target is below them, they will rotate their body and axe kick the target below, this kick can be devastating as it can knock out the target if their [Endurance] is 10 below user Strength, they also suffer a -1 Endurance if they remain conscious for 3 posts.

Air Rider
D-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite: Broom
The first fundamental of Aerial Combat is the ability to ride a broom in various positions, mostly standing up without fear of losing balance, this simple discipline allows the user to fight on top of the broom without worry of falling over.



C-Rank


In The Air
C-Rank Taijutsu Stance
The first fundamental of Aerial combat is to always stay light on one's feet, the user is almost obsessed with the idea of bouncing off targets or objects to push themselves upwards to the skies.

Defender
C-Rank Taijutsu Manuevre
Prerequisite: Broom
The user twirls their boom in order to protect themselves from incoming projectiles or strikes, this technique also works on staffs and other straight weapons that can cover them head to toe.

Step Up
C-Rank Taijutsu Manuevre
The user front kicks the targets hip in order to force them to take a step back before they run up their body and leaps off their face. This jutsu is great to set up following attacks and if they manage to overpower them then they can force their targets to eat dirt.

Always Handy
C-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite: Broom
The user is always weary of where their broom is and if they were to fall they can always count on being able to reach it unless it's stopped, with this discipline they have trained to catch the broom with either their legs or arms with ease.


B-Rank

B-Rank Taijutsu Manuevre
Prerequisite: Broom / Heavy weapon
A technique that allows the user to launch the target far away, this technique can either send them flying in the air or into other objects within realistic reach, this all depends on the users strength vs the targets.

Stay Up
B-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite: In The Air, Broom/other means of staying up in the air.
The user is able to stay up nearly indefinitely due to their trickster style, they do this by making sure that their Broom or other means of pushing themselves up in the air is maintained, so the user doesn't fall to the ground.

Air Shark
B-Rank Taijutsu Manuevre
Prerequisite: Broom
The user distracts the target while their broom attacks them from the air, requiring [Perception] of equal level to notice the incoming broom. The broom aims to smack them in the head with enough force to knock them out clean if their [Endurance] is lower than the user's strength, if they manage to stay awake they lose 3 Endurance and 3 Strength for the next 4 posts.

Airborne
A-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Prerequisite: Stay Up, Broom/Wingsuit
A master of the air, the users mastered the technique of flight and can stay up indefinitely via Broom or wing suit, they push off the air from the time to time if they are too far off from their tools and will fly in a matter that allows them to move wherever they please in the air at full speed, their erratic movements also requires equal or higher rank [Perception] to keep up with their movements.

A-Rank Taijutsu Discipline
Another Fundamental technique belonging to Aerial Combat, the user has mastered the way of making sure that they keep their targets off the ground, by always keeping an eye on their elevation and striking them upwards to keep the field advantage on their side.


S-Rank


Skyan
S-Rank Taijutsu Stance
The peak Aerial Combat stance, the user takes a deep breath and once they exhale the world starts moving in slow-motion, here their sole focus is to get up in the air, and all moves and counters are pushed/launch either the user or the target up, they bounce around the walls and by other means, this confusing and erratic style requires [Acrobatic] at equal rank in order to keep up with all of the movements.
