It had been a while since Shuichi of Iwagakure had really done anything notable. He had gone to the Crescent Coalition with Maido to check it out, and she had picked a fight with him that had gotten well out of hand and caused the two of them to become targeted by Ikanbi, whom, with the use of Kuuton, swiftly defeated Maido in a manner that was most spectacular, reducing her core to dust.
Unfortunately, Maido had cores scattered throughout the planet. She was a vengeful and hateful spirit of blood, after all. She had now transcended humanity and become a spirit as she had always intended. A vengeful, heinous, horrible, horrendous, hexing Octopus Wolf spirit. It was a dangerous, horrible, terrifying creature known to exist deep within the waters of Water Country. It took her a while, but, she resurged into Shuichi one day while he was in the middle of making a deal downstairs at a bar in Iwagakure.
Maido materialized in Shuichi's vision for the first time in at least eight months, he calculated quickly.
"Hello, Shuichi my dear." She said to him whimsically.
"Well now this is a surprise." Said Shuichi as a manifestation of chakra surged out of his body, spools of Kouton and Chalk wires exhuding out and forming together into Metal Maido whom then formed a Metal throne out of thousands and thousands of Kunai and sat upon it.
"So, what were we discussing here?"
"Oh, you know, just giving him some weapons, the usual, he has spice to trade."
"Spice?"
"Yeah, spice." Shuichi smiled his Lion teeth a silly grin towards Metal Maido.
"How much spice?"
"Not shit."
"More."
"????"
"More."
"????"
"More."
Maido produced metal from the air in a large abundance, crafting more and more of it, drawing it out of the very ground beneath them and into a large block several meters wide and into a statue in the shape of a snake.
"Here. Now, give us more."
The man muttered something incoherent sort of under his breath and said he'd come back in a few days.

I can see it, Maido.
The Octopus Wof spirit materialized in front of him in the chalk dunes on the outskirts of the Rock Empire.
"Well hello there, young one," Maido had said to him as she, the Octopus Wolf spirit, had materialized out of the chalk dust before him. Chalk and metal dust and flakes began to wreathe together and roll around, turning into a maelstrom of sorts that pieces together into a being that walked on all fours, yet had several extra limbs and several extra mouths along its entire body.
Maido's dead form was absolutely beautiful, a stunning display of Squid, Octopus, and Canine mashed together into something amazingly wicked and crass. This is just what she looked like now, she was no longer human in any capacity, except when she chose to be, which was rare.
This was, of course, because shew as much more at home in the water.
She could make the ground feel like water however, so that is where she resided.
Maido's Octopus Wolf head popped up out of the ground, a slurry of chalk dust falling off of her in clouds of dust and droplets of liquid chalk.
"How can I help you?" Metal Maido had asked him finally.

"Well...I suppose I should try and pass the chuunin exams sometime soon."
"Yes, you should."
"Uh, but aren't I a little old?"
"You could use a fake alias."
"Now there's a thought."
"Just shapeshift into a different form entirely but register with your real name, it'll be funny."
That was Maido's idea.
It actually was very funny, and it would likely work, now that she thought about it properly.
