The Squalleater is a massive, ghostly tri-masted warship, eternally shrouded in an aura of mist and drifting sorrow. Nearly 90 feet long and 25 feet wide, it sails silently even without wind, gliding over the waves like a predator in search of souls.
Gun Deck & Ghost Cannons: A full battery of decaying but spectral cannons line its gun deck, capable of firing not iron, but searing spiritual blasts.
Ghostly Crew: Phantom sailors endlessly man the ropes, polish nonexistent brass, and load illusory shot. Though intangible outside of the ship, their actions animate it completely.
Captain’s Quarters: A weather-worn, haunted sanctum hidden below deck, still lit by cursed lanterns.
Rowboats & Rope Ladders: Spectral longboats hang from rusted davits, useful for flavor-based deployment of the crew or player.
Balcony: A deteriorated viewing platform near the stern used by the spirit to "watch" its master’s surroundings.
On land, The Squalleater twists unnaturally. With the creaking of hull and the groan of tortured souls, its planks, rigging, and cursed bones assemble into a towering monstrosity:
Its masts become limbs, draped in tattered sails like funeral robes.
Cannons rotate inward, fused into its torso to unleash broadside-like blasts.
The balcony rises as a shoulder platform, sometimes bearing its summoner or a ghostly helmsman.
Its hull forms the torso, its wheel embedded in a chest of bone and iron.
From its creaking body, phantom crew cling to it, climbing and shrieking with each step.

The Squalleater is no mindless construct — it is the lingering will of a cursed ship, once feared across seas and now bound to Avantika's service. Its soul is ancient, bitter, and cunning, yet it holds a deep loyalty to the one who has earned its helm. Even in silence, The Squalleater seems aware. It tilts with the wind like it's listening. Its creaking planks groan like sighs, and its lanterns flicker when it's agitated.
Sails flutter with no wind when it is pleased.
The ship’s wheel turns on its own when it wants to change course.
Cannons aim without command when it senses danger.

These secondary fires require flammable material to continuously spread, otherwise they will burn out on their own. In organic material, this causes nervous stimulation which results in numbness, tingling, loss of sensation, and sometimes paralysis based on the [Strength] of the technique. In a jutsu that creates a lightning ball 2m in diameter, if it struck a wall the size of the attack would cover a 4m area.Doton:

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Doton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the doton affinity. Doton has a passive enduring effect.Passive (Enduring)ShowDoton has a passive effect of Endurance, which means that it's power is retained throughout the entirety of the jutsu. All of a single doton jutsu retains the strength of the jutsu, even after the jutsu has been destroyed, and unlike other jutsu, doton does not fade when destroyed. This means that if a doton barrier with 25 strength is cut in half and falls to the ground, a part of that barrier could be picked up and carried as a hand held shield which would still have 25 strength, despite being a fractured part of a jutsu. This creates incredibly potent defenses, making doton a popular affinity among defensive fighters.Fuuton Affinity:

A character with this concentration is able to utilize Fuuton, and can make and use any custom or archived jutsu that require the Fuuton affinity. This gives fuuton a unique opportunity to strike with additional power, and to act as a offensive defense. Regardless of their purpose fuuton jutsu passively cut with no distinct pattern at 1/2 the strength of the technique rounded down unless otherwise stated. This means if someone punched a 20 strength fuuton wall, they would get cuts on their hand applied with 10 strength. The Squalleater was the ship that Avantika sailed when she was a shinobi for Soul Country. It had been in service for many years before she started using it. Eventually it sunk to the sea when the giant cephalopod attacked. It was given new life, literally, by the Sea Father and now serves as a ghostly spirit for Avantika. It functions as a ship and as a summonable companion.
