Ping Pong Pains

Post by 7eleven » Sun Apr 04, 2010 8:22 am

Ekitai was walking through his house, and passed his ping pong room.

"Eh, I haven't practiced for awhile. I might as well."

So, he entered the room, and approached the large bucket of ping pong balls in the corner.

However, he had no motivation to pick one up. The small, white orbs that were once his passion, for whatever reason, held no interest to him.

He looked over at his table; His full sized, tournament style, incredibly expensive table. This thing was once his prime achievement. He'd saved money for nearly a year for it; Every mission, every odd job, every little bit of birthday money went into that table. And why? It was only a game.

Things were really coming into focus lately. His childhood hobby (obsession, really) didn't seem to matter much any more. He had more important things, more important goals to aspire to. Training with Jaku (which was sure to be intense), Team Sky business. He was working towards a promotion to Bannin, and, eventually, to take over Tousha's position as Hokage.

The bucket of balls was still sitting in front him.

He had a closet on the other side of the house that wasn't being used much.

His table folded up, and would probably fit.

He didn't have much else to do today, he could move all of this stuff in there in an hour or two.

He'd find something to use the room for.

He looked down at his belt, the ping-pong nunchucks he used as a launcher in battle for his Ruisan clan techs. He really had let this thing permeate every facet of his life. He removed it from his belt and tossed it into the bucket before hauling it off to the closet.
